#RHOA: Hearing Scheduled Over Possible Foreclosure Of Former RHOA Star Kim Zolciak’s Milton Mansion
Kroy Bierman and Kim Zolciak could be in danger of losing their house once again. According to court documents obtained by Channel 2 Action News, the estranged couple who have been in a years-long divorce, have a motions hearing scheduled for Wednesday dealing with the foreclosure of the multimillion-dollar mansion in Milton.

“On April 23, 2024, Respondent filed notice with the Court of its intent to initiate a non-judicial foreclosure proceeding. Thereafter, Petitioner filed the instant Motion to place this matter back on the active docket as there is now a justiciable issue for the court to decide,” the document said.

Fulton County property records confirm that the house is currently owned by “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kim Zolciak and former Atlanta Falcons player Kroy Biermann.

The 15,000-square-foot mansion overlooks a lake and the 18th fairway at the Manor Golf & Country Club. The home includes seven bedrooms, eight full bathrooms and three partial bathrooms. The garage can hold up to eight cars.

Other features include a walk-in wine cellar, billiard room, arcade game room, home theater and a gym with a private massage room. It also comes with a full in-law suite with a full kitchen and living room.
The latest foreclosure was supposed to happen on May 3, but the couple filed a motion to have it delayed.

According to the latest filing, the court “shall hear oral argument on Petitioner’s request for a Temporary Restraining Order.”
The couple filed for divorce last May after 11 years of marriage. They initially dropped the petition in July, but Bierman refiled for divorce again in August, saying their marriage was irretrievably broken.

This is the second time the home has been put up for foreclosure.
“This matter was placed on the inactive docket on January 31, 2024. At such time, Respondent informed the Court that the foreclosure sale had been canceled and there was, therefore, no justiciable issue pending before the Court,” court documents said.

The home had been listed as for sale by Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby’s International but has since been pulled down.

#MusicNews: Mariah Carey Releases ‘Portrait’ Remix EP

Mariah Carey, has released an EP dedicated to her 2018 ballad “Portrait.” The four-track ensemble features a special house remix of the heartfelt track, including a 16-minute Hopeful Child Remix, a radio edit of the remix, and another edit. The EP also includes the standard version of the song, which Carey co-wrote with Daniel Moore.

The release of Carey’s Portrait EP comes just a day after the premiere of her Portrait of a Portrait installment for Audible’s Words + Music series. In the hour-long episode, Carey unpacks the meaning behind “Portrait” and previews the never-before-heard remix.
“Portrait of a Portrait is an in-depth journey into my inner life as a songwriter, and I’m excited to welcome listeners into the Butterfly Lounge for a unique, unfiltered exploration of my creative process and the meaning behind some of the songs closest to my heart,” Carey said in a statement.

In an interview with Variety, Carey revealed what inspired her to revisit “Portrait” for Audible and the remix.

“It’s just something that felt so strong to me the way I wrote it, because it was really about the strong feelings that I had,” said Carey.
“So to go from such a slow, kind of very sad song to this uptempo, upbeat — still sad, because of the lyrical content — but much less sad because we whooped it up. I don’t know, I really, really enjoyed the whole process of making ‘Portrait.'”
The standard version of “Portrait” is the closing track on Carey’s 2018 album Caution. The album was ranked No. 1 on Rated R&B’s 25 Best R&B Albums of 2018 list.

Carey has confirmed that she is working on a follow-up to Caution. “I’ve written some new songs,” she confirmed to Variety. “I have to figure out which songs I’m going to do and which songs I’m not going to do.”
Carey has more festive moments lined up for her beloved Lambs, a nickname she gave her fans. On Thursday (May 24), Carey went on X (formerly Twitter) to hint that she has plans for the 25th anniversary of her album Rainbow.

#HipHopNews: Common & Pete Rock Drop Visuals To New “Wise Up” Single
It’s been a few months since Common revealed that he and legendary Hip-Hop producer, Pete Rock were in the kitchen cooking up some new work for the old heads that have been following their careers since the early 90’s. On Wednesday, May 22, we get a sample in the form of their new single “Wise Up.”
Wanting to take it back to the essence of Hip-Hop, Common and Pete Rock collaborate to create a sound reminiscent of Hip-Hop’s golden era while sonically giving heads something to bump and bop to in 2024. In a press release for the new single, Common explains why they decided to go with this record for their first single.

“’Wise Up’ represents the coming together of a New York Producer and a Chicago MC doing the hip-hop we love. It feels like the spirit of where we come from, the boom bap, the basement, but it also feels forward and new. We wanted this to be the first joint because this record captures a new sound and is a new light but speaks directly to our hip-hop family” said Common in a statement.

Pete Rock echoed the feeling and praised Common for his artistry and mastery of the mic, adding, “Working with Common was a breath of fresh air. We both connected to a higher power, which helped us tap into our greatest level of creativity. We constructed an amazing project!  Common has an incredible soul, so it was easy to connect with someone who is on the same page as me.”

The joint came out hella dope. Check out the visuals to “Wise Up”  HERE

The reality TV star was arrested on Saturday afternoon in Huntsville, Alabama, for allegedly driving under the influence. According to official records, the charge description was listed as "DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE-MISDEMEANOR (ALCOHOL)." Scott was detained around 12:04 pm and released at approximately 12:19 am the following morning after posting a $5,000 bond.

'General Hospital' Star Johnny Wactor Took The Bullet For Female Co-Worker In Fatal Shooting
Johnny Wactor literally took the bullet for his co-worker during an armed robbery gone wrong. The actor, best known for his portrayal of Brando Corbin on the popular daytime series "General Hospital", is revealed to have shielded his female co-worker before he was shot dead.

According to a new report, Johnny was leaving his side job at a rooftop bar with a female colleague at around 3:25 A.M. on Saturday, May 25 in the area of West Pico Boulevard and South Hope Street, when he saw the three men near his vehicle attempting to steal a catalytic converter. Believing that he was being towed, Johnny approached the men to try to discuss it.

When one of the men looked up, he pointed a gun at Johnny who put his body in front of his female co-worker while he was shot. The three men, who were all wearing masks, then fled the scene in another car. Johnny was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

Speaking to Daily Mail, Johnny's younger brother Grant said he wasn't surprised by the actor's final act of bravery as they were raised as "southern gentleman." Grant said, "We're Southern, born and raised, and we would never let a female walk to their car by herself."
"He came across them and he thought his truck was being towed. So he said something to the guys, like, 'Hey, are you towing?' " Grant divulged. "And then once he turned around, he saw what was happening and he put his coworker behind him. And that's when they shot him."

Grant noted that the cops told him Johnny did not attempt to fight the car thieves, but the actor was backing away and trying to protect his friend when the shot was fired. Grant said Johnny and his co-worker had to park about two blocks from the restaurant, so they were walking to their cars after they finished their shift. Grant confirmed that Johnny was shot in the chest.
"My brother was probably the hardest working person I've ever met in my life. He was a great brother and son," Grant paid tribute to his late brother. "Anyone he touched, he made a great impact. He was as charismatic in real life as he was on camera. And he was always genuine, through and through."

Grant hopes Johnny gets the justice that he deserves. "I hope they are able to track the people who did this," he shared. "I am glad in a way that this is getting the publicity so that it could shed some light that things need to change, or find ways so that no one else has to experience this - whether it be a murder or being at the wrong place at the wrong time."

Johnny's death was previously confirmed by his agent David Shaul. "Not just a talented actor who was committed to his craft but a real moral example to everyone who knew him. Standing for hard work, tenacity and a never give up attitude. In the highs and lows of a challenging profession he always kept his chin up and kept striving for the best he could be," he said of the late actor. "Our time with Johnny was a privilege we would wish on everyone. He would literally give you the shirt off his back. After over a decade together, he will leave a hole in our hearts forever."

#BoxOfficeNews: 'Furiosa' Barely Beats 'Garfield' At Slowest Memorial Day Box Office In Decades

Not even Anya Taylor-Joy's fierce Furiosa could make people leave the comfort of their couches. The Memorial Day box office has shown no sign that the industry is back gaining traction again despite the arrival of the highly-anticipated "Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga".

On the Memorial Day weekend, George Miller's post-apocalyptic film debuts at No. 1 with an estimated $25.6 million over the three-day weekend. The movie barely holds off "The Garfield Movie", which opened to an estimated $24.8 million, from taking the first place.

The positions could switch when the four-day numbers come in. According to studio's estimates, the animated movie featuring the voice of Chris Pratt could lead the four-day weekend with an estimated $31.9 million in ticket sales.
"Furiosa" is also still on track for $31M-$33M four-day opening, which would be the worst Memorial Day weekend in 29 years, since "Casper" earned $22.5 million (not adjusted for inflation) in its first four days in 1995.

"This was a rather slow Memorial weekend," said Paul Dergarabedian, the senior media analyst for Comscore. He reasoned, "A few things didn't happen that created this situation: We didn't have a tailwind heading into the summer. We kicked off the summer minus a Marvel movie. In a way, we've been playing catch up all year long."

Internationally, "Furiosa" made $33.3 million for a current global total of $58.9 million. With a reported $168 million production budget, not accounting for marketing and promotion, "Furiosa" has a long road to profitability.

"Furiosa" received mostly positive reviews from critics, holding an 89% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, but moviegoers apparently didn't enjoy it that much. Audiences polled by CinemaScore gave the film "B+" on an A+ to F scale.
"Garfield", on the other hand, had a modest budget of $60 million. With $66.3 million international opening and a current worldwide total of $98.1 million, it has a solid launch despite panned reviews from critics. Moviegoers gave the movie an average grade of "B+".

Last week's champion and newcomer "IF" falls to No. 3 with an estimated $16.1 million after dropping 52.2% in its second weekend. "Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes" also drops two spots to No. 4 with approximately $13.3 million. "The Fall Guy" rounds out the top five with an estimated $5.9 million.

Top 10 of North American Box Office (May 24-26, 2024):

"Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga" - $25.5 million
"The Garfield Movie" - $24.8 million
"IF" - $16.1 million
"Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes" - $13.3 million
"The Fall Guy" - $5.9 million
"The Strangers: Chapter 1" - $5.6 million
"Sight" - $2.7 million
"Challengers" - $1.4 million
"Back to Black" - $1.1 million
"Babes" - $1.06 million

'Super Size Me' Director Morgan Spurlock's Cause Of Death Revealed
Director Morgan Spurlock, known for "Super Size Me," passed away at 53 after battling cancer. He died in New York surrounded by loved ones. Spurlock gained fame with his 2004 documentary, where he ate only McDonald's food for 30 days.
Despite its success, his career faced turmoil in 2017 when he admitted to sexual misconduct. Spurlock is survived by two sons, and donations to the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge in New York City have been requested in his honor.

Oscar-nominated director Morgan Spurlock has recently passed away at 53 after a private battle with cancer.
According to a family statement, per Deadline, Spurlock "died peacefully in New York, surrounded by family and friends." The family also noted that his cause of death was complications of cancer. He was undergoing chemotherapy earlier this year after being diagnosed with cancer.

Paying tribute to his younger brother, Craig Spurlock, with whom Morgan collaborated on documentaries like "Morgan Spurlock Inside Man," stated: "It was a sad day as we said goodbye to my brother Morgan."
He added: "Morgan gave so much through his art, ideas, and generosity. The world has lost a true creative genius and a special man. I am so proud to have worked together with him."

Details regarding a memorial service will be announced soon. The family also requested "generous donations to the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge in New York City" in Morgan's memory.

Tributes have already started pouring in for the late director as fans troop to social media to honor his memory.
One person commented on Spurlock's Instagram page, "I am so very shocked and saddened to hear about the passing of Morgan Spurlock. He was [a] documentarian hero for the people. I loved everything he made. He will definitely be missed by so many. Many heartfelt condolences to his family and other loved ones."

Another wrote, "RIP. It was so wonderful meeting you on a Delta flight, we were sitting next to each other. We talked the entire flight that our necks hurt from facing each other so we switched seats to give our necks a break. Sending prayers to the family."
A third person noted, "Rest Easy, Morgan. I'll make sure to watch your documentary again this weekend."
Morgan shot to fame twenty years ago for his breakthrough documentary "Super Size Me," which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. In this film, Morgan consumed only McDonald's food for 30 days to examine the health effects of a fast-food diet.

Filming himself in a Michael Moore-inspired style, the "Freakonomics" star documented his dramatic weight gain and severe liver damage from a diet of Quarter Pounder combos, French fries, flapjacks pancakes, breakfast sausages, and soft drinks.
The documentary grossed over $20 million worldwide, a remarkable achievement for a nonfiction film, and catapulted Morgan to fame in the documentary world. However, his career hit a major setback in 2017 during the MeToo movement when he admitted to past sexual misconduct in a blog post. Following this revelation, Morgan resigned from Warrior Poets, the production company he founded in 2004.

Morgan's impressive filmography includes "Mansome, The Greatest Movie Ever Sold" and "Where In the World Is Osama Bin Laden?"
His documentaries often blended humor with serious themes, exploring consumerism, advertising, masculinity, and terrorism. However, in 2013, he diverged from his usual style and directed the 2013 music documentary "One Direction: This Is Us."

"Spurlock fearlessly challenged modern conventions utilizing humor and wit to shed light on societal issues," his family said, per Deadline. "His films inspired critical thinking and encouraged viewers to question the status quo. Over thirteen years, through his production company Warrior Poets, Spurlock found additional success producing and directing nearly 70 documentary films and television series."

#RIP: Hall of Fame basketball legend Bill Walton dies at 71
The world of basketball has lost one of its most colorful characters. Hall of Fame basketball legend Bill Walton has died at 71, the NBA announced Monday, after battling cancer in recent years.
Born on Nov. 5, 1952, in La Mesa, Calif., just east of San Diego, Walton had a renowned college career at UCLA under iconic coach John Wooden. During his career in Westwood, the 6-foot-11 center won two national championships (in 1972-73) and three national college player of the year awards, and was a three-time All-American. His teams lost only four games in his three seasons as a varsity player (freshman were not allowed to play back then), going 86–4 overall.

His success continued in the NBA. The No. 1 overall pick in the 1974 NBA Draft by the Portland Trail Blazers, he won an NBA championship in 1977 and MVP award (averaging 18.9 points and 13.2 rebounds) in 1978. But he struggled with chronic foot injuries that limited him to 209 games (out of a possible 328) played in four seasons.

After sitting out the entire 1978-79 season to protest how his and his teammates' injuries had been treated, Walton signed with the San Diego Clippers as a free agent. He played in only 169 games over six seasons, missing two full campaigns due to foot injuries.

In 1985, Walton was traded to the Boston Celtics. He played a career-high 80 games during the 1985-86 season and won another NBA championship and Sixth Man of the Year honors for a team with Larry Bird, Kevin McHale and Robert Parish. Walton played 10 games the following season and retired after injuries prevented him from playing the 1986-87 campaign.
"Bill Walton was truly one of a kind," NBA commissioner Adam Silver said in a statement. "As a Hall of Fame player, he redefined the center position. His unique all-around skills made him a dominant force at UCLA and led to an NBA regular season and Finals MVP, two NBA championships and a spot on the NBA's 50th and 75th anniversary teams."

"What I will remember most about him was his zest for life," Silver added. "Always upbeat, smiling ear-to-ear and looking to share his wisdom and warmth."
Walton was inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in 1993 and the College Basketball Hall of Fame in 2006.
"Beyond his remarkable accomplishments as a player, it's his relentless energy, enthusiasm for the game and unwavering candor that have been the hallmarks of his larger than life personality," said UCLA head coach Mick Cronin in a statement.

"As a passionate UCLA alumnus and broadcaster, he loved being around our players, hearing their stories, and sharing his wisdom and advice. For me as a coach, he was honest, kind, and always had his heart in the right place. I will miss him very much. It's hard to imagine a season in Pauley Pavilion without him."
Generations of basketball fans likely know Walton better as an eccentric basketball broadcaster. For the first 20 years of his broadcasting career, he called college and NBA games for CBS, NBC, the Clippers and ESPN/ABC.

After a three-year absence while recovering from back surgery (alleviating injuries that went back to his playing career), Walton returned as a full-time analyst for ESPN. He also called NBA games on NBC with Marv Albert, Greg Gumbel and Steve "Snapper" Jones.
Frequently going on tangents that had little or nothing to do with the action on the court — which sometimes referenced recreational drug use, bizarre trivia, his love of the Grateful Dead and his political beliefs — Walton became an enormously popular color commentator. Play-by-play partners including Dave Pasch and Jason Benetti had to frequently maintain a deadpan sense of humor knowing that Walton could go anywhere with storytelling and analysis.

In 2009, Walton was named as one of the top 50 sports broadcasters of all time by the American Sportscasters Association.
"Bill often described himself as 'the luckiest guy in the world,' but anyone who had the opportunity to interact with Bill was the lucky one," ESPN president Jimmy Pitaro said in a statement. "He was a truly special, giving person who always made time for others. Bill's one-of-a-kind spirit captivated and inspired audiences during his second career as a successful broadcaster."

She added, “And I went through a lot of things. But here I stand, better than ever. I never changed for anybody. I still live in North Carolina, I’m a North Carolina girl and I remain humble. And I know that if it had not been for this show… This show opened so many doors. Mike Tyson Doing Great After Facing Mid-Flight Health Scare
Professional boxer and global icon Mike Tyson, 57, faced a health emergency while on an American Airlines flight from Miami to Los Angeles. According to his representatives, Tyson became nauseous and dizzy due to an ulcer flare-up just 30 minutes before the plane was scheduled to land.

Fortunately, the health scare did not escalate, and Tyson is reportedly doing great
A call for medical assistance was made mid-flight, and paramedics boarded the plane upon landing to assist Tyson. Despite initial concerns, it was clarified that the plane's two-hour delay prior to takeoff was due to an air conditioning issue, not Tyson's health condition.

In a statement to PEOPLE, Tyson's representative expressed, "He is appreciative to the medical staff that were there to help him." This sentiment was echoed across various sources, emphasizing the gratitude Tyson feels towards those who aided him during the incident.
Tyson's health scare comes ahead of a highly anticipated boxing match against YouTube star-turned-professional boxer Jake Paul. The bout is scheduled to take place on July 20 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, and will be streamed live on Netflix. This match has been generating significant buzz, especially amongst young fans eager to witness the clash between generations.

Reflecting on the upcoming fight, Tyson said in a statement, "I'm very much looking forward to stepping into the ring with Jake Paul at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. He's grown significantly as a boxer over the years, so it will be a lot of fun to see what the will and ambition of a 'kid' can do with the experience and aptitude of a GOAT. It's a full circle moment that will be beyond thrilling to watch; as I started him on his boxing journey on the undercard of my fight with Roy Jones and now I plan to finish him."

At a recent news conference, Tyson referred to the match-up as a "no-brainer," expressing his excitement to shake the sports world with this unique event.
Meanwhile, Paul has also been vocal about his readiness for the fight, declaring himself a "natural-born heavyweight" and suggesting that he would prove his power against the legendary Tyson. In humorous reference to Tyson's infamous 1997 fight with Evander Holyfield, Paul even joked, "I'm gonna bite your ear off Mikey."

Despite the challenges posed by his health, Tyson remains committed to the intense training regimen required for the match, documenting his progress on Instagram. Both fighters have been preparing rigorously, indicating a thrilling and unpredictable showdown on July 20.

'The Simpsons' Showrunner Denies Predicting Diddy's Downfall As Fake Pic Of His Character Goes Viral

"The Simpsons" showrunner has set the record straight. Reacting to a viral picture of Sean "P. Diddy" Combs as the animated series' character, Matt Selman confirmed that the snap was fake.
"In the current era of digital misinformation, The Simpsons 'predictions' (or, more accurately, 'coincidences') have become meaningless," the 52-year-old said in a statement to TMZ. "Any goofball can whip up an AI image based on a current event and say 'The Simpsons predicted it!' - and decent-but-easily-misled folks will believe it because they so very want it to be true."

Fans believed the image was real since "The Simpsons" has a knack for predicting the future. In the past years, it has foreshadowed Donald Trump's presidency, Lady GaGa's Super Bowl performance, the Ebola outbreak, Disney's acquisition of 20th Century Fox and more. In addition, the AI-generated picture was believable since Diddy wore a pink suit and sunglasses to the 2023 BET Awards.

Diddy's downfall started after his ex Cassie sued him for sexual assault last year. Although the exes have settled their legal battle, Puff continued facing similar allegations from other women.
Earlier this month, CNN released a video of Diddy abusing Cassie in a hotel back in 2016. The disgraced hip-hop mogul later issued a public apology, saying, "It's so difficult to reflect on the darkest times in your life, but sometimes you got to do that."

"I was f**ked up," he admitted. "I mean, I hit rock bottom. But I make no excuses. My behavior on that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video."
Despite Diddy's earnest tone, the video received sharp rebukes from several figures in the music industry. One consistent critic was 50 Cent. The G-Unit ringleader suggested Diddy's apology only made the embattled rapper's image so much worse. "This is not going to work, who is advising him right now? SMH bad move," he wrote on Instagram.

Bruce Springsteen Postpones Three More Shows “Under Doctor’s Direction” Amid “Vocal Issues”

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band have postponed three upcoming shows in Prague and Milan, “under doctor’s direction,” Springsteen announced Sunday on Instagram.

The move comes after the iconic musician had to reschedule a planned concert in Marseille on Saturday “due to vocal issues.”
Now, “further examination and consulting has led doctors to determine that Bruce should not perform for the next 10 days,” Springsteen wrote on Instagram.

The concerts affected are the Tuesday (May 28) show at Airport Letnany in Prague and the Saturday (June 1) and Monday (June 3) shows at San Siro Stadium in Milan. New dates for both shows “will be announced shortly,” Springsteen said.
Springsteen, the post said, “is recuperating comfortably,” with the European tour resuming June 12 in Madrid.
Last fall Springsteen and the E Street Band had to postpone all of their 2023 tour dates to the following year due to Springsteen’s peptic ulcer disease, for which he underwent treatment and was recovering from last year.

At the time, Springsteen told fans, “Thanks to all my friends and fans for your good wishes, encouragement and support. I’m on the mend and can’t wait to see you all next year.”
Prior to that, Springsteen had postponed and canceled multiple dates due to health issues.

Tina Knowles Says Beyoncé Was 'Shy and Got Bullied' Growing Up: 'Couldn't Have Been More Proud of Her'
Knowles called Beyoncé, Solange and Kelly Rowland her 'three girls' as she opened up about her favorite memories of their childhoods during a new interview
Sharing a video of her interview with Vogue on her Instagram page on May 26, Knowles, 70, opened up about her favorite memories of her children when they were young and called Beyoncé, Solange and Kelly Rowland her "three girls."

“Beyoncé, she was very shy and she got bullied a bit but the day that she stood up for someone — she didn’t stand up for herself she stood up for them," Tina recalled. “I’m getting emotional talking about it. I was just, I couldn't have been more proud of her.”
Knowles, who shares Beyoncé, 42, and Solange, 37, with her ex-husband Matthew Knowles, then went on to share her favorite childhood memory of her second daughter.

“Solange, was her signing a petition in school, she was only in like fifth grade and she was out getting petitions signed,” Knowles said. “So she’s always been an activist.”

Knowles often refers to Rowland, 43, as her third daughter and earlier this month she recalled on Today with Hoda & Jenna how Rowland came to live with the family at the age of 11. "That's my baby," she added.
“Kelly was always this kid that just tried to protect everybody,” Knowles continued. “I have a memory of her with her best friend Barbara and her being a mediator and just being this little peacemaker.”

“Each child is different! But all so special. I believe kids are born with their personalities. My three girls All handled things very differently,” the fashion designer wrote in the caption of the video. “Learn their personalities and respect the individuality. Never compare the negatives , always praise the positive differences and pay attention to the things that you can brag on about them. They love it and it encourages positive behavior . Interview with Vogue.com At Vogue offices ❤️.”

Knowles' comments come after she revealed what Beyoncé and Solange's kids call her during an appearance on Today with Hoda & Jenna earlier this month.

"They call me grandma," said Knowles.
"It’s the best. With grandkids you don’t have the pressure of taking responsibility for how they get to turn out, so you get to just indulge them and let them have noisy toys that drive their parents crazy," she joked. "It’s just the best. They are the best. My grandkids are all super creative and I just love them to death."

While Beyoncé shares daughter Blue Ivy, 12, and twins Rumi and Sir, 6, with husband Jay-Z, Solange is mom to 19-year-old son Daniel 'Juelz' Smith Jr. with her ex-husband Daniel Smith.

Idaho Drag Performer Wins $1.1 Million After Being Falsely Accused of Flashing Kids at Pride Event

A jury has awarded over $1.1 million to Eric Posey, an Idaho drag performer, after he was defamed by a far-right blogger who falsely claimed he exposed himself during a Pride event in June 2022. The Kootenai County District Court jury found that Summer Bushnell defamed Posey by posting a doctored video of his performance with a blurred spot, falsely suggesting he exposed his genitals to the crowd, including children.

Posey, who performs under the stage name Mona Liza Million, wore a long-sleeve leotard, black shorts, and tights during his three performances at the Pride in the Park event, with no indecent exposure occurring. Prosecutors declined to file any charges.

“The judicial system did what needed to be done,” Posey said after the verdict.
The jury awarded Posey $926,000 in compensatory damages and an additional $250,000 in punitive damages after determining Bushnell knew her allegations were false or made them with reckless disregard for the truth.

The Pride event made headlines due to the arrest of 31 members of the white supremacist group Patriot Front nearby. Bushnell posted a video of herself discussing the arrests and included footage of Posey’s performance, falsely accusing him of flashing his genitalia. Her edited video went viral, prompting a national outcry and a police investigation.

After the verdict, Posey was emotional, embracing his lawyers and friends. “The jury’s verdict demonstrates a clear message to this community that you have to be truthful,” said Wendy J. Olson, one of Posey’s attorneys.

Posey faced death threats and harassment as a result of the false claims, with the edited video becoming a symbol of a broader national movement against drag performers and the LGBTQ+ community. Despite the support from friends and true Idahoans, Posey described the experience as being in a “dark hole.”

Jurors, who deliberated for three and a half hours after a five-day trial, expressed their sympathy to Posey, with one juror even apologizing to him outside the courthouse. The North Idaho Pride Alliance, which organized the event, thanked the jurors and reaffirmed their commitment to the safety of the LGBTQ+ community in North Idaho.
As of Friday evening, Bushnell’s posts and videos remained online despite the court’s decision.

GloRilla Faces Lawsuit Over Alleged Contract Breach with Atlanta Investor
*Memphis rapper GloRilla, known for her hit single “Wanna Be,” is embroiled in a legal battle with an Atlanta-area investor, Aristotle Varner Jr., founder of the Honey Drip Network. Varner recently appeared on the popular radio show The Morning Hustle, where he leveled serious accusations against the rapper.

According to Varner, GloRilla received over six figures from him to fulfill a series of promotional tasks but failed to meet her obligations.
“GloRilla, she stole some money from me,” Varner claimed during his interview, highlighting that despite the hefty payment, the rapper did not complete the agreed-upon tasks. He mentioned that GloRilla still has two more tasks to complete as per their contract. The ongoing legal dispute has been active for over a year, with Varner expressing frustration over the prolonged court proceedings.

The terms of the contract reportedly included GloRilla promoting Varner on social media, participating in a collaborative Instagram post, and conducting a meet-and-greet along with a 30-minute interview with Varner’s wife, Asia Varner, who is a business coach. While Varner refrained from delving into specific details during the radio interview, court documents released by Spade TV last September indicated that GloRilla was paid more than $400,000 for these promotional activities.

Adding to the intrigue, a TikTok video from February last year shows GloRilla and Varner recording a promotion for a stock lessons class, which the rapper was slated to join virtually. This video, which once seemed like a promising collaboration, now serves as a stark reminder of the commitments that Varner claims GloRilla has yet to fulfill.

During his interview, Varner suggested that GloRilla’s reluctance to complete the tasks stemmed from a shift in her attitude after achieving significant success. He described her behavior as “cocky,” implying that her growing fame may have influenced her decision to disregard their contractual agreement.

The lawsuit has garnered considerable attention in the media, with fans and industry insiders closely following the developments. As the legal proceedings continue, the spotlight remains on GloRilla and her response to these serious allegations.
For now, the future of this high-stakes legal battle remains uncertain, but one thing is clear: the dispute between GloRilla and Aristotle Varner Jr. is far from over.
