#RHOA: Jamie Foxx Has Night Out with “RHOA” Stars Porsha Williams, Cynthia Bailey and Phaedra Parks in Miami: 'A Time Was Had'
Jamie Foxx linked up with some of the Real Housewives of Atlanta cast for a fun night out in Miami!
While Cynthia Bailey, Porsha Williams and Phaedra Parks were in the Florida city for Bravo Fan Fest, they also joined forces with the movie star, 56, for an impromptu “karaoke hour” — and, as Williams phrased it, “a time was had.”
The Pampered By Porsha founder, 43, documented the group’s night together in an Instagram post on Saturday, Nov. 23, which she kicked off with a clip of the RHOA trio, Foxx and several others singing together at a table.
In another video, Foxx appeared to tease someone in the group, saying, “You went to private school, but you’re beautiful,” as the camera turned to him.
Elsewhere in the post, the Collateral star popped up in a video that, at first, seemed to just be Parks, 51, dancing until Foxx appeared, rubbing his hands together over her rear as if it’s a fire.
“That’s warm right here,” Foxx joked as others in the group laughed.
Some of the songs that soundtracked the Bravo stars and their friends’ night out were Aaliyah’s “One in a Million” and Mariah Carey’s “We Belong Together,” the latter of which Foxx could be seen singing along to as he recorded the group's rendition with a phone camera.
The movie star also snapped a pic with Parks and Williams outside, smiling and showing an up-close look at his night-out look — head-to-toe tropical print — in the selfie.
“Baby a Time was had π,” Williams wrote in the caption. “We turned Prime into karaoke hour π₯ππΎπ€πΎπ #MiamiNights #GoodTimesGoodPeople.”
The RHOA stars touched down in Miami for Bravo Fan Fest, a one-day celebration on Saturday, Nov. 23, featuring themed activations, panels and photo opportunities with a lineup of 25 Bravolebrities.
At the star-studded event, Parks gave some teasers about the upcoming season of RHOA — namely, a glimpse into her love life. When asked about her current dating situation during the "Tour de Wives" panel, the TV personality said it is "delicious."
"I'm dating," she shared, adding that her boyfriend is a younger man in his “very early 30s."
As for Foxx, the star is currently gearing up for his upcoming comedy special, which hits Netflix next month, as well as the release of his film Back in Action (alongside pal Cameron Diaz), which comes out in the new year.
The Netflix movie’s production made headlines in April 2023 when Foxx had a medical emergency that interrupted filming for a period of time.
After the actor was hospitalized and assured fans that he was "on his way to recovery" that May, he was seen back on set in January 2024. At the time, an entertainment source told PEOPLE that, “for Jamie, the show must go on and he has always been eager to see this project completed.”

#HipHopNews: Drake accuses Universal Music Group and Spotify of unfairly promoting Kendrick Lamar's 'Not Like Us'
Drake has filed a petition against Spotify and Universal Music Group, accusing the companies of conspiring to inflate the streaming and radio numbers of Kendrick Lamar's "Not Like Us" amid the rappers' monthslong feud.
Drake says in the petition, filed in the New York court system, that UMG paid influencers, radio stations and others to promote the song and use bots to increase the song's popularity.
He references the companies' multi-year licensing agreement, and says they have "a long-standing, symbiotic business relationship" in which UMG charged Spotify a licensing fee 30% less than usual for "Not Like Us." In exchange, Spotify frequently recommended the song to users, he says.
Drake and Lamar are two of the biggest names in the rap genre, with several number one hits and Grammys between them. They both have record label deals under UMG and collaborated a few times in the past.
Drake claims UMG engaged in similar practices with other streaming platforms, such as Apple Music. For example, when users asked Siri to play his album Certified Lover Boy, it played "Not Like Us" instead. He also says UMG fired employees "with or perceived as having loyalty to Drake."
Spotify and UMG were not immediately available for comment.
Though, UMG said in a statement cited by the Associated Press that the "suggestion that UMG would do anything to undermine any of its artists is offensive and untrue. We employ the highest ethical practices in our marketing and promotional campaigns. No amount of contrived and absurd legal arguments in this pre-action submission can mask the fact that fans choose the music they want to hear."
It is unclear what provoked the conflict between the two, but earlier this year they both released several songs filled with jabs and insults aimed at the other. The pinnacle of the exchanges was Lamar's "Not Like Us," which spent two weeks at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and has more than 900,000 streams on Spotify
Before filing a complaint, which would turn Drake's accusations into an official lawsuit, Drake is requesting discovery that includes the identities of the people UMG and Spotify allegedly paid to promote and stream the song.
"Every time a song 'breaks through,' it means another artist does not," he says in the petition. "UMG's choice to saturate the music market with 'Not Like Us' comes at the expense of its other artists, like Drake."

Florida Woman Sentenced To 25 Years In Shooting Death Of Black Neighbor
Susan Lorincz, left, who fatally shot a Black neighbor through her front door during an ongoing dispute, is finger printed after she was sentenced to 25 years in prison at a court hearing Monday, Nov. 25, 2024, in Ocala, Fla. Doug Engle/Ocala Star-Banner via AP, Pool
A woman who shot her neighbor dead in Florida, provoking racial tensions, has been sentenced for the violent crime.
On Monday (Nov. 25), Susan Lorincz was sentenced to 25 years in prison for manslaughter in the death of Ajike “AJ’ Owens, according to CNN. The news outlet reported Owens’ family and prosecutors asked that Lorincz receive the maximum penalty of 30 years.
“I stand before you not only mourning the loss of my daughter, but also the loss of our hopes, dreams, and the future that we often spoke of,” shared Owens’ mother, Pamela Dias, before the sentencing. “Our plans and promises to one another as mother and daughter will never come to light. They all died the night Susan Lorincz killed my daughter.
The outlet reported Dias later said she was pleased with the sentence.

Judge Robert Hodges called the crime a “very aggravated manslaughter,” however asserted lack of a prior criminal history impacted his decision to not order the maximum sentence. Lorincz was convicted of manslaughter for shooting through her door in June 2023, killing Owens in front of two of her children. Lorinzc claimed she was in fear for her life.
“I am so sorry I took AJ’s life. I never intended to kill her,” shared Lorincz with the court. Per CNN, Lorincz’s sister testified that as children, they suffered abuse and were raised in a family with a history of addiction and mental illness.
Before the shooting, Owens allegedly knocked on Lorincz’s door to question her about an argument she had with her child, with Lorenzc firing shots. At the time, witnesses to the incident claimed that Lorincz called Owens’ kids “black slaves” during the ordeal. During her trial, Lorincz’s legal team argued she had no choice.
At the time of her arrest, Lorincz was charged with felony manslaughter with a firearm, culpable negligence, and two counts of assault.

Trey Songz hit with MASSIVE $11M legal action
In a significant legal ruling, R&B singer Trey Songz, whose real name is Tremaine Neverson, has been ordered to pay over $11 million to a Maryland Capitol Police Officer, Tyrelle Dunn. This decision comes after an incident in 2021, where Dunn claims he was assaulted while trying to rescue his wife from Songz’s hotel room at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas.
The incident in Vegas: A disturbing allegation
The incident that led to this hefty settlement began when Officer Dunn heard his wife screaming for help. According to his lawsuit, he believed she was being held against her will in Songz’s hotel room. When Dunn intervened, he alleges that Songz and his security team attacked him, resulting in severe injuries, including fractured eye sockets and scarring.
Legal proceedings and judgment
Despite Songz being cleared of any criminal charges related to the incident, the civil lawsuit filed by Dunn resulted in a default judgment in his favor. The court found that Songz was liable for the injuries sustained by Dunn during the altercation. The $11 million payout will cover various damages, including medical expenses, pain and suffering, and punitive damages.
Impact on Officer Dunn
Officer Dunn’s injuries not only caused him physical pain but also led to a loss of wages, further complicating his situation. The emotional and psychological toll of the incident cannot be understated, as it involved a traumatic experience for both Dunn and his wife.
Public reaction and future implications
The news of this ruling has sparked discussions across social media platforms, with many expressing their opinions on the incident and its implications for both Dunn and Songz. Some supporters of Dunn commend his bravery for intervening in a situation that he perceived as dangerous, while others question the circumstances surrounding the altercation.

Wendy Williams Declared ‘Permanently Incapacitated’ Following Dementia Diagnosis, Court Documents From Guardian Reveal
Wendy Williams’ legal guardian, Sabrina Morrissey, gave a heart-breaking update about the TV star’s health struggles in new court documents.
In a recently submitted filing in her case against Lifetime over the controversial Where Is Wendy Williams? docu-series, Morrissey reportedly wrote that Williams, 60:
“[Is] an acclaimed entertainer who, tragically, has been afflicted by early-onset dementia and, as a result, has become cognitively impaired and permanently incapacitated.”
She furthered:
“We respectfully request that the Court grant Plaintiff’s motion for limited redactions to protect non-public information from the Guardianship Proceeding that has been placed under seal by the court overseeing that proceeding.
The filing sheds light on Morrissey’s continued battle with Lifetime over the project and reveals the severity of Wendy’s condition. As reported, Wendy’s health issues ultimately led to her court-appointed guardianship back in 2022 after Wells Fargo expressed concerns about financial exploitation and dementia.
Williams has faced mounting health challenges in recent years, including a reported diagnosis of alcohol-related brain damage and frontotemporal dementia, which prompted her absence and eventual departure from her popular daytime series The Wendy Williams Show.
Her fans, long hopeful for a return, now face the crushing reality of her ongoing struggles.

Former ABC News Anchor Kendis Gibson Says 2018 Suicide Attempt Was Partially Due To Alleged Racist, Toxic Culture At The Network
Kendis Gibson, former anchor of World News Now, alleges a troubling workplace culture at ABC News contributed to an attempt to take his own life in 2018.
In his new memoir, “Five Trips,” the TV personality details his 5-year journey experimenting with psychedelic dr*gs to combat several mental health struggles, which he says included depression, panic attacks and sui@idal ideation.
While Gibson admits that some of his health concerns were underlying prior to landing his “dream job” at ABC in 2014, he claims experiencing covert racism while working for the network exacerbated the situation.
Gibson recalls in the book being welcomed to the team, alleging he was told by a fellow unnamed Black anchor “Welcome to Mickey’s plantation.” When he asked what the individual meant, Gibson says the person responded:
“You’ll find out.”
The anchor noted that he did eventually come to understand the comment, alleging that a former ABC executive would later make a passively racist comment to him, stating:
“You’re doing television news now, not attending a rap concert. Don’t ever wear jeans again.”
He also claims that his efforts to push for diversity were allegedly met with retaliation, noting that a culmination of the situation at ABC, as well as his use of substances like Ambien to cope, prompted a sui@ide attempt that was narrowly averted.
Gibson says that after a few years of seeing “the racism taking place,” he declined a contract extension and $10,000 raise for the sake of his mental health.

It does not appear ABC has spoken publicly on the matter at this time.

Demure has claimed the title of Dictionary.com’s 2024 Word of the Year, reflecting a cultural focus on refined and sophisticated behavior. The term saw a 1200% surge in digital media usage, largely driven by TikTok star Jools Lebron and her viral phrase “very demure, very mindful.”
Traditionally meaning modest or reserved, “demure” has taken on new life as a descriptor for polished public appearances, a trend amplified by the return to in-person work. Google searches for the word peaked in August, with Dictionary.com reporting a 200-fold increase in lookups.
Other finalists included “brat,” inspired by Charli XCX’s album Brat, and “weird,” boosted by VP hopeful Tim Walz.

Damian Williams, the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, has announced his resignation effective December 13. Williams has overseen several high-profile cases, including the convictions of Senator Robert Menendez and Sam Bankman-Fried, the ongoing prosecutions of Mayor Eric Adams and Sean "P. Diddy" Combs, and the recent charges against New York City Mayor Eric Adams.
Ed Kim, Williams' deputy, will take over as acting U.S. Attorney. Williams stated that he is leaving at a time when the office is functioning at a high level. President-elect Donald Trump has indicated his intention to nominate former SEC chair Jay Clayton for the position.
In the ongoing case against Combs, prosecutors allege that he has engaged in witness tampering while in detention, including communicating with potential witnesses and orchestrating a social media campaign to influence the jury pool. They cite evidence of his use of unauthorized communication channels, threats and violence against his personal staff, as well as patterns of abuse and coercion against women over many years.
Prosecutors argue that Combs' past behavior demonstrates a risk of obstruction and violence, making his release on bail inappropriate. They also claim that the admissible portion of the 2016 video showing Combs assaulting ex-girlfriend Cassie (Casandra Ventura) further supports their position.
Combs' defense team maintains that his actions are protected by the First Amendment and that the negative publicity surrounding the case has prejudiced his ability to receive a fair trial. They argue that his proposed $50 million bail package, including 24/7 surveillance, is sufficient to ensure his appearance and prevent witness intimidation.
U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanian is expected to make a bail decision this week. Combs' trial is currently scheduled for May 2025.

DDG has been vocal about his feelings for Halle Bailey since their breakup, expressing his longing for her and determination to stay single after their split. Additionally, a recent clip circulating on social media has raised eyebrows, depicting the pair looking affectionate during an outing with their kid.
In the video, DDG tries out a T-shirt and shows it off to Halle who offers compliments and encouragement. "Oh my God, it's so cute," she gushed. Their positive interaction has led many to speculate that they may have reunited or never actually separated.
DDG announced his split from Halle earlier this year. Their relationship had been constantly under heavy scrutiny, which apparently took a toll on both of them. "This decision was not easy, but we believe it's the best path forward for both of us," he said.
Post-split, they had a friction online over their son's appearance at Kai Cenat's live stream, but it was quickly solved with Halle apologizing for her outbrusts and DDG defending his ex against critics.
Regardless of their relationship status, it is heartwarming to witness Halle and DDG prioritizing their son's well-being and maintaining a positive relationship despite their past differences. Their shared love for their child and their commitment to co-parenting serve as a positive example in the entertainment industry.

Donald Trump will reportedly sign an executive order to remove transgender people from armed services
According to a report by The Independent on Monday (Nov. 25), President-elect Donald Trump is preparing to sign an executive order that would ban transgender people from serving in the U.S. military, potentially as soon as his first day back in office. The publication added that there are currently about 15,000 from that demographic among its ranks. It was also stated that said division is facing recruitment challenges.
The embattled politician made good on the intent during his first term, when he signed that order into law. “After consultation with my generals and military experts, please be advised that the United States government will not accept or allow transgender individuals to serve in any capacity in the U.S. military,” Trump tweeted in 2019. “Our military must be focused on [a] decisive and overwhelming victory and cannot be burdened with the tremendous medical costs and disruption that [transgenders] in the military would entail.”
Trump’s ban was subsequently overturned by his successor, President Joe Biden. “It is my conviction as commander-in-chief of the armed forces that gender identity should not be a bar to military service,” he wrote in a detailed statement. “Moreover, there is substantial evidence that allowing transgender individuals to serve in the military does not have any meaningful negative impact.”
Biden’s announcement continued, “In 2016, a meticulous, comprehensive study requested by the Department of Defense found that enabling transgender individuals to serve openly in the United States military would have only a minimal impact on military readiness and healthcare costs. The study also concluded that open transgender service has had no significant impact on operational effectiveness or unit cohesion in foreign militaries.”
Karoline Leavitt, Trump’s transition spokesperson and incoming White House press secretary, dismissed the aforementioned claim regarding the fate of transgender soldiers. “These unnamed sources are speculating and have no idea what they are actually talking about,” she said to The Independent. She added that “no policy should ever be deemed official unless it comes directly from President Trump or his authorized spokespeople.”

Ariana Grande & Cynthia Erivo Were Paid the Same Amount for 'Wicked,' Universal Confirms as Fake Paycheck Numbers Circulate

Both women are playing leading roles in the film, with Ariana taking on Glinda and Cynthia portraying Elphaba.

Khalid Responds to ‘Frustrating’ Allegations After Being Outed Online
In a video shared on social media on Monday (Nov. 25), the R&B singer expressed his frustration and pain over the claims and the public’s reaction, saying, “I feel like it’s important to speak my side of the situation.”
“All of this is definitely frustrating,” Khalid said. “I’m not gonna run around like I’m unbothered. I never said I was unbothered by anything. This is very bothering. … I had to say something.”
As reported by Rolling Stone, the outing that Khalid referred to came from a series of since-deleted tweets from X user and recording artist Hugo Almonte. After writing that a “gay R&B singer” had once “tried to set me up and lie that I broke into his house,” as well as claiming he served him “pink cocaine”, Almonte shared a since-deleted photo of himself and Khalid.
Khalid has now firmly denied the accusations. “I’ve never done cocaine a day in my life,” he said in the video, “For real.” adding that he never “never paid anyone for sex” or to be “be in a relationship”.
“I’m trying to watch my tone now… The last time I talked to this guy was four years ago. This is all random, I don’t know why he did it, and I don’t know what’s going on with him. Mental health is real, but I haven’t even had a conversation or seen this dude in four years.”
He went on to say he never accused anybody publicly of breaking into his house, and the only people who knew about a breaking were his close circle.
“Nobody knew because I don’t want everybody in my business,” Khalid added.
“Seeing the few comments of people painting me as if I’m just some manipulative abuser, it’s just crazy to me… Regarding the stories of the abuse, it’s triggering because it’s the other way around, and that’s what hurts.”
He added, “That’s what hurts the most.”
The situation escalated when Almonte’s posts, which included photos of himself with Khalid, effectively outed the artist. In response, Khalid confirmed his sexuality on X last week, writing, “π³️π!!! there yall go. next topic please lol… I got outed and the world still continues to turn.” He added, “I am not ashamed of my sexuality! In reality, it ain’t nobody’s business! But I am okay with me.”
In a statement given to Rolling Stone last week, Almonte claimed that he had wanted to “share how he tried to use his power to silence me because I simply ended our relationship,” and said he received death threats from many accusing him of “chasing clout” with his claims. “I was holding onto this for five years, and I finally had enough.”

Dan Schneider ‘Quiet on Set’ Defamation Lawsuit to Proceed
Former Nickelodeon producer Dan Schneider, the subject of the Investigation Discovery’s Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV, has been given the green light to proceed with his defamation suit against Warner Bros. Discovery and the docuseries’ producers.
Judge Ashfaq G. Chowdhury of the Los Angeles Superior Court, in a Nov. 22 ruling obtained by The Hollywood Reporter, dismissed a bid by WBD and Maxine Productions to have the lawsuit tossed out. The court ruling argued “this is manifestly not a case brought by Schneider on frivolous grounds, simply to harass defendants. He’s suing defendants about a documentary they made about him, that focuses on his activities, and, which a reasonable viewer might conclude makes damning implications about his conduct.”
Schneider brought the defamation suit against the docuseries Quiet on Set, directed by Mary Robertson and Emma Schwartz about popular TV shows created and run by the prolific Nickelodeon producer, after it premiered in March 2024.
The ID series alleged that, behind the scenes, underage stars and crew were treated inappropriately on TV sets run by Schneider. Nickelodeon and Schneider, a former child actor turned producer, parted ways in mid-2018 after a 25-year working relationship. The decision to not extend Schneider’s deal at the studio also followed an investigation by then-parent ViacomCBS that claimed abusive behavior by the prolific TV creator toward people he worked with on set.
Schneider in March apologized for his on-set behavior, but his lawsuit denied he was involved in any sexual abuse on set or behind the scenes. “This action arises out of the recent television docuseries Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV (“Quiet on Set”) in which defendants falsely state or imply that Schneider — a well-known television producer, creator and/or writer responsible for some of history’s most beloved children’s television shows — sexually abused the children who worked on his television shows. These statements are fabrications,” his legal action stated.
Judge Chowdhury agreed with Schneider’s lawyers “that defamation can be implied, that the trailer and documentary state or imply Schneider sexually abused children who worked on his show and that Schneider was a child sexual abuser.”
The Quiet on Set series, produced by Maxine Productions and Sony Pictures Television — Nonfiction, was also produced in association with Business Insider.

Denzel Washington Set to Return for Two More ‘Equalizer’ Movies
*Denzel Washington confirmed in a new interview that he’s returning for two more “Equalizer” movies.
“I told them I would do another Equalizer, and we’re doing 4 and 5,” Washington told Esquire.
“More people are happy about that — people love those daggone Equalizers,” the two-time Academy Award winner added.
“But I’ve come to realize that the Equalizer films are for me, too, because they’re for the people,” continued Washington. “They want me to go get the bad guys. ‘We can’t get them, so you go get them.’ And I say, ‘Okay, I’ll get them! Just wait right there. I’ll be right back!’ “
The actor starred in all three “Equalizer” movies and also produced the films.
After appearing in more than 50 movies, Washington recently said he’s not interested in taking on new projects if he’s not inspired by the filmmaker. In an interview with Empire magazine, he opened up about his reason for joining Ridley Scott’s “Gladiator 2,” now playing in theaters.
“There are very few films left for me to make that I’m interested in, and I have to be inspired by the filmmaker, and I was tremendously inspired by Ridley,” Washington explained. “We had a great go-round the first go-round [on American Gangster], and here we are.”
The Hollywood icon recently caused a fan frenzy after claiming he intends to retire after making “Black Panther 3.”
“I am playing Hannibal. After that, I’ve been talking to Steve McQueen about a film,” he said on an episode of Australia’s Today show. “After that, Ryan Coogler is writing a part for me in the next Black Panther. After that, I’m going to do the film Othello. After that, I’m going to do King Lear. After that, I’m going to retire.”
Washington has since clarified his remarks, telling BuzzFeed: “I didn’t say I was going to go into retirement. I said that it has to be a level of interest for me.
“I’m more interested in getting behind the camera, so that’s about five years out. It’s very difficult. I may have used the word ‘retire’… but I look at life in three sections – you learn, you earn and you return. I’m in the return part of life.”

T.D. Jakes Files Defamation Lawsuit Against Fellow Pastor Duane Youngblood
T.D. Jakes is hitting back after explosive claims made by fellow pastor Duane Youngblood.
Jakes has filed a defamation lawsuit following Youngblood’s recent allegations on the Larry Reid Live podcast that Jakes attempted to groom and assault him when he was a teenager.
Youngblood, through his attorney Tyrone Blackburn, is demanding $6 million to settle the matter privately. If Jakes doesn’t pay, Youngblood has threatened to sue for sexual assault and harassment.
Jakes’ legal team called the accusations “patently false” and said they’ve caused significant harm. “This lawsuit is intended to bring that scheme to a halt,” they stated, adding that the claims have taken an emotional, physical, and spiritual toll on Jakes.
Youngblood, who is a registered sex offender, previously pled guilty to sexually assaulting two teenage boys.
Despite claiming reformation and writing a book on his journey, Jakes’ team alleges Youngblood is using social media and the legal system for personal and financial gain.
“This is not the case of a real victim,” Jakes’ attorneys wrote, emphasizing the need to restore his reputation.
