#RHOA: Porsha Williams Achieves Legal Win in Divorce Battle with Simon Guobadia
Porsha Williams, the 43-year-old star of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, has secured another significant legal victory in her ongoing divorce from Simon Guobadia, 60. A judge has granted her temporary sole possession of their shared home, giving Williams the "unrestricted right to film and produce television, film, or social media content" there. This latest win comes amid a series of legal battles, including a defamation lawsuit filed by Guobadia against Williams.
Temporary Control of the Shared Home and Filming Rights
The court ruling gives Williams full control of the couple’s residence, allowing her to continue her career in television and social media without restrictions. The order also mandates that Simon Guobadia provide any necessary documentation—likely contracts or releases related to The Real Housewives of Atlanta—to support Williams’ filming efforts at the home. This decision ensures that Williams can pursue her professional projects during the ongoing divorce process.
The Defamation Lawsuit
In addition to the divorce proceedings, Williams is facing a defamation lawsuit from Simon Guobadia, who claims that she made damaging statements about him on social media. The lawsuit revolves around Williams' posts discussing erectile dysfunction, which Guobadia argues were intentionally crafted to imply that he suffers from the condition, causing harm to his reputation. Guobadia alleges that Williams' posts resulted in significant emotional distress and damage to his personal and professional standing.

Although Williams never directly mentioned Guobadia in her Instagram Stories, the lawsuit argues that the content was designed to embarrass and defame him. Guobadia is seeking at least $75,000 in damages, claiming the false accusations negatively impacted both his personal life and professional relationships.
A Complex Divorce
Porsha Williams filed for divorce from Simon Guobadia in February, following 15 months of marriage. Their divorce has been marked by disagreements over the validity of their prenuptial agreement, as well as issues concerning their shared home and financial matters. One of the key points of contention has been Williams' recent scripted television deal with NBC Universal, which has further fueled tensions between the couple.
Williams has been vocal in her legal filings, criticizing Guobadia for making "false statements" and misrepresenting the reality of their situation. In a major legal victory for Williams, a judge ruled in her favor earlier in the divorce proceedings, affirming that the prenuptial agreement was valid and dismissing Guobadia’s claims of misrepresentation.
Moving Forward
While the legal battles continue, Porsha Williams has achieved a major victory in her divorce case, securing temporary control of the home and the right to continue filming. With her return to The Real Housewives of Atlanta for the upcoming 16th season, Williams remains a prominent figure in the entertainment world. As the divorce and defamation lawsuit progress, it’s clear that this high-profile case is far from over, with both parties continuing to fight for their interests in court.
Porsha Williams met her husband, Simon Guobadia, through mutual connections in the Atlanta social scene. They were introduced by a friend in 2020, and after dating for a short period, Simon proposed to Porsha in May 2021. Their whirlwind romance quickly became a high-profile topic, especially due to the fact that Simon was previously married to Porsha's Real Housewives of Atlanta co-star, Falynn Guobadia.
Porsha and Simon tied the knot in a lavish ceremony on November 25, 2022. Their wedding took place in Atlanta, Georgia, and was a highly anticipated event, both in the media and among their fans. The couple's ceremony was an extravagant celebration, featuring a grand venue, an elegant dress, and many prominent guests. Porsha wore a stunning white gown, and the event was filled with beautiful moments, including a special performance by a live band.
The wedding was also unique because it followed a rather public and quick romance. Porsha and Simon had gotten engaged just a few months earlier in May 2021, and their relationship became widely known due to Simon’s previous marriage to Porsha's Real Housewives of Atlanta co-star, Falynn Guobadia. Despite the drama surrounding their relationship, the couple appeared to enjoy their special day, surrounded by family, friends, and loved ones. Their marriage was short-lived, after 15 months of marriage, Porsha filed for divorce in February 2023.

Diddy Accused Of Dangling Woman From 17-Story Balcony
On or around September 26, 2016, Sean “P. Diddy” Combs allegedly s*xually battered Bryana “Bana” Bongolan, dangled her from a 17-story balcony, and slammed her into patio furniture, according to a complaint filed on November 27.
The complaint describes Combs’ conduct as violating Bongolan’s dignity, bodily autonomy, and safety, and claims the assault followed a pattern of threats and violence during their interactions.
The incident, which occurred at Cassie Ventura’s apartment and left Bongolan with lasting harm and confirmed her fear of Combs.
He is charged with sex trafficking and racketeering. During his first court appearance at a Manhattan federal courthouse on September 17, 2024, Combs pled not guilty. During this court appearance, U.S. Magistrate Judge Robyn Tarnofsky denied Combs bail and ordered for him to remain to jail.
His attorneys offered a $50 million bond, but on September 18, a second judge, Andrew L. Carter Jr., also denied bail, as he is concerned about potential witnesses being threatened or intimidated.
Combs is detained in Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center. On September 24, a woman filed a lawsuit against Combs, alleging Combs and his head of security drugged her, bound her, and raped her in 2001 when she was 25 years old.

SORRY BEYHIVE! Beyonce is not going on Tour after Haltime Show!
As Page Six reported on Wednesday (Nov. 27) that a Beyoncé representative firmly denied rumors of an upcoming tour following her highly anticipated Christmas Day halftime show performance. In response to growing speculation, the superstar’s longtime publicist, Yvette Noel-Schure, took to Twitter to set the record straight. “Untrue. Nothing to report here. Whenever there is any news, you will hear it directly from the source first," she wrote.
The denial came after Hits Daily Double teased the possibility that Beyoncé was “starting to promote her upcoming tour, which should be enormous.” It should be noted that the statement was made on the publication's “Near Truths” series. Adding fuel to the fire, The US Sun made claims that the music icon was planning overseas stadium shows for next summer, including five dates at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
In March, Beyoncé dropped her eighth studio LP, COWBOY CARTER. The Billboard 200 chart-topper consisted of a whopping 27 cuts with a range of contributions from Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Shaboozey, Tanner Adell, Stevie Wonder, Paul McCartney, Nile Rodgers, Jon Batiste and more. The universally praised release secured 11 Grammy nominations, including Album of the Year, which brought the singer's total to a record-breaking 99 overall.
While a tour doesn't appear to be in the plans, fans will get to hear songs from the country-centered album during her upcoming halftime performance, which streams live via Netflix on Christmas Day. The show will take place at NRG Stadium during the Baltimore Ravens matchup versus the hosting team, the Houston Texans. According to a press release, Netflix teased “some special guests” from the album will make appearances.
Beyoncé’s last multi-city run, 2023's “Renaissance World Tour,” was a monumental success. The North American and European excursion ran from May to October and grossed an astounding $579 million. A concert film chronicling the tour added another $44.4 million at the box office.

Nick Cannon Acknowledges 'I Need Help' as He Reveals His Narcissistic Personality Disorder Diagnosis
Nick Cannon is getting candid about his mental health journey.
Earlier this month, the Masked Singer host, 44, shared he had been diagnosed with narcissistic personality disorder. For the star, being open about his struggles is a part of how he manages his day to day.
"I still don't understand it all the way, but I kind of always wanted to get tested for it. I did a bunch of tests,"
"I've been diagnosed with ADHD. Even as a kid it was dyslexia, but just knowing that I'm just a neurodivergent individual, I kind of always knew," he adds.
Now, Cannon says he's being accepting of his recent diagnosis and using it as a tool to better himself.
"I feel like there's so many labels out there, but it's like, to be able to embrace it and say, 'Look, I'm healing. I need help. Show me.' I just embrace mental health and therapy in such a strong way," he says. "To be able to say I'm an example for others, but also be healing during the self-process works too."
Cannon first opened up about his diagnosis in a Nov. 8 episode of his Counsel Culture podcast. After confirming to Dr. Cheyenne Bryant, a Doctor of Psychology, that he had been "clinically diagnosed" with narcissistic personality disorder, Cannon explained he identifies with nearly all "markers" for the disorder.
"I've taken all the power away from the term narcissism 'cause I've researched it and I understand it," said Cannon on the episode. "Call me whatever you want... now if I didn't know what it was, then I have issue with it."
Cannon — who's welcomed 12 children since 2011 — also opened up to PEOPLE about how he spends time with all of his kids during the holidays.
"It's very complicated. I'm a busy man on Thanksgiving," he says of visiting multiple homes on the holiday. "I'm going to be full by the end of the day, but everybody specializes in certain things, you know what I mean? Some people got good sweet potato pie, some people got amazing fried turkey. So I know every house that needs to have the things that I really like."
The star will also be "all over" in December — and hopes to spend time with his children in the snow. "Everywhere from Aspen to Santa's Village, all of those things," he says. "All the kids want to go to the snow. So a little bit of East Coast, a little bit of Aspen, a little bit of Big Bear."

President Biden and first lady to debut AIDS Memorial Quilt on the White House South Lawn for World AIDS Day
President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden will mark World AIDS Day on Sunday by debuting the AIDS Memorial Quilt at the White House.
It will be displayed on the South Lawn as the Bidens commemorate the day with survivors, their families and advocates.
A red ribbon will also be displayed on the South Portico of the White House to recognize those who have died due to AIDS-related illnesses, as well as the more than 40 million individuals living with HIV around the world.
The red ribbon -- now an annual tradition -- made its first appearance in 2007, under the Bush administration.
The White House said in statement that the Biden administration has made ending the HIV epidemic a key priority.
The statement touted the administration's National HIV/AIDS Strategy, which is focused on reducing new HIV infections, improving outcomes for people with HIV and breaking down societal barriers. It was established in 2021.
The White House Office of National AIDS Policy is set to release a progress report on the Biden administration's strategy next week.
The AIDS Memorial Quilt, a powerful symbol of the human toll of the virus, was originally displayed on the National Mall during the October 1987 National March on Washington for Lesbian and Gay Rights, at a time when many felt the federal government had been too slow to respond to the crisis.
The quilt, which is regularly displayed across the U.S. as an education tool, now contains nearly 50,000 panels, honoring more than 105,000 lives lost.
HIV infection in the U.S. declined by about 12% overall between 2018 and 2022, but remains a persistent problem, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Justin Timberlake has been forced to cancel his upcoming concert in Oklahoma City on December 2 due to a back injury. The injury occurred during his recent performance in New Orleans.
"I'm so sorry Oklahoma City," Timberlake wrote in a statement shared via Instagram Story. "I have to cancel the show on 12/2. I hurt my back in NOLA and my doctors have instructed me to rest a little bit longer."
This is the third time in recent weeks that Timberlake has had to reschedule shows due to health reasons. In October, he postponed six concerts due to bronchitis and laryngitis, and in September, he canceled a show in Newark, New Jersey due to an undisclosed injury.
"I haven't been feeling great the last few shows," Timberlake wrote in an October Instagram post. "I'm so sorry to say I do need to reschedule the next few shows from 10/23 through 11/2."

Timberlake's tour is scheduled to continue through July 2025, with nine more U.S. stops in 2024 and international dates beyond.

Kacey kicked off her tour earlier this year, and we have the setlist from opening night if you were curious what songs she is singing. She’s currently being supported by Lord Huron and Nickel Creek.

Afrika Bambaataa Accused of Sexual Abuse by French Rapper Solo
Afrika Bambaataa, influential New York rapper and DJ, has been accused of sexual assault by French rapper Solo.
Solo, who is a member of French rap collective Assassin, came forward in an interview with CliqueTV. In a translation of the interview per, the rapper recalled the incident, which allegedly took place when he was 16. He does not divulge details but said he witnessed Bambaataa watching porn upon being asked to meet him.
“Being confronted by a predator, especially someone you admire, is very difficult because you admire this person,” Solo said. “Realizing they have flaws that lead to inappropriate behavior is a shock.”
The allegations arrive 40 years after the alleged incident. According to Solo, he said he needed “personal development and support” to come to terms with the abuse. “That was the hardest part.”
Bambaataa has been accused of child sexual abuse multiple times. In 2016, political activist Ronald “Bee-Stinger” Savage accused the DJ of molesting him in 1980. The accusations led to three other victims coming forward. Bambaataa denied all of them.
Savage eventually recanted his accusations. “In 2016 and beyond, I completely forgot that when I was younger, when I was 15, I had a fake ID that stated I was 18 to get into clubs,” Savage said in a statement. “Bambaataa is not a pedophile, and in my eyes, he was engaging in something consensual with someone he believed was of age.”
The most recent accusations came in 2021 when he was sued by an anonymous man alleging he was molested and trafficked between 1991 and 1995 when he was a minor.
Fellow New York rapper Melle Mel said “everyone knew” about Bambaataa’s alleged history of sexual abuse in an interview with VladTV in 2021.

Eddie Murphy’s Son Eric Is Engaged to Martin Lawrence’s Daughter Jasmin: 'A Love That Feels Like Destiny'
Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence are about to be family!
Eddie's son, Eric Murphy, popped the question to Martin's daughter, Jasmin Lawrence, on Wednesday, Nov. 27, the pair announced through a sweet video shared on Instagram on Saturday, Nov. 30.
Set to “Spend My Life with You” by Eric Benét, the engagement video begins by showing how Eric decorated a room with candles and rose bouquets — and covered the floor with flower petals — before cutting to Jasmin’s reaction as she walks into the setup for the first time.
Eric then gets down on one knee and opens the ring box, prompting Jasmine to say, “It’s beautiful. Oh my gosh,” before exclaiming“yes” and sharing a kiss with her voice actor love.
In the caption of their joint post, Jasmine and Eric wrote, “We’re engaged!! God truly blessed us with a love that feels like destiny."
“We couldn’t be more excited for this next chapter ❤️❤️," continued the pair. "Special thank you to everyone who made this moment so beautiful!!
Though it is unclear exactly when the comedy icons’ kids started dating, they debuted their relationship on Instagram in June 2021, with Eric posting photos of the pair alongside the caption, "Head over heels in LOVE with YOU." He added the hashtags: "#MyOtherHalf," "#EquallyYoked" and "#ILoveYou."
Weeks later, Jasmin posted a sweet birthday tribute to her then-boyfriend on Instagram, calling him "my love" and declaring, "I’m so incredibly blessed to know you, to love you, and to have you by my side."
Jasmin — who is following in her dad's footsteps by pursuing an acting career — has also opened up about how she and Eric met. "It wasn't even our dads, and they've done two movies together, they're friends," she told InTouch Weekly in January 2022, explaining that it was actually her uncle who brought her and Eric together.
"We became really good friends because we bonded on a lot of things," she added of her now-fiancé, who is the eldest of Eddie's 10 children. "And over time, it just, you know, became more."
Martin, 59, addressed the pair's romance during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in June 2022, joking that his daughter and Eddie's son could potentially conceive "a comedy super-baby" together.
"We haven't talked about it," Martin said of himself and Eddie, 63. "We kind of just stay out of their business and let them do their own thing, and respect their thing."
But Martin did have one thought about a future wedding between the pair. "I'm gonna try to get Eddie to pay for it," he told host Jimmy Kimmel.
Eddie later responded to Martin's comment, playfully telling Canadian outlet Etalk, "That's not how it goes."
"My daughter [Bria] just got married, and I had to pay — really had to pay," the Coming 2 America star continued, referring to the tradition that the father-of-the-bride foots the wedding bill. "You have to do the same, Martin."
"Don't try to switch it up — don't try to change no s---, do no Hollywood switch," he then warned. "You're paying for the wedding. If it goes down, Martin is paying."
Eric previously supported his future father-in-law at the Bad Boys for Life star's April 2023 Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony. Following the event, he posted a tribute to Martin on Instagram, praising his "unconditional love" for Jasmin.
"From the moment I met you, @martinlawrence, I knew that you were not only one of the funniest and most talented actors on the planet, but also an amazing father," he wrote. "Your unconditional love and support for Jasmin have not only shaped her into the beautiful, strong, and compassionate woman she is today, but have also helped create the incredible partner she is to me."
"I am forever grateful for the way you raised her and for the way you continue to be a pillar of strength for everyone around you," Eric added.

Justin Combs Blacklisted by Southern California Real Estate Brokers Over Partying Allegations
Justin Combs, the 30-year-old son of Sean “Diddy” Combs, has reportedly been blacklisted by luxury real estate brokers in Southern California following allegations of reckless partying at rented mansions. The accusations suggest that Justin’s high-energy gatherings have left properties damaged, leading to a widespread refusal among brokers to rent him homes.
An unnamed Los Angeles-based luxury home broker told The New York Post that Justin’s rental requests often started modestly but escalated into extravagant affairs. “He would say, ‘I’m having 20 people over,’ but there would be 200, and then they would wreck the house,” the broker alleged. “It’s gotten to the point where nobody will rent to him. He called me to rent, and I said no.”
While Justin’s parties have drawn comparisons to his father’s notorious celebrations of the early 2000s, there is no evidence to suggest illegal activity or wrongdoing at these gatherings. On Instagram, Justin has shared posts featuring tequila shots, vodka pours, and moments partying with his father and friends, fueling perceptions of a lifestyle centered on celebration.
Jeffrey Lichtman, Justin’s attorney, strongly denied the allegations, emphasizing that his client has not faced any criminal charges or civil lawsuits related to the claims. “Justin has not been charged with a crime or sued civilly regarding any of these accusations for a reason – he did nothing wrong,” Lichtman stated.
The reported blacklisting highlights the growing scrutiny celebrities and their families face when their personal lives intersect with luxury property markets. For now, Justin Combs finds himself at the center of controversy, as brokers in Southern California opt to steer clear of his requests. Whether this will influence his future rental opportunities remains to be seen.

Police and Pepper Spray: Chaos Erupts After Michigan’s Win Over Ohio State, Players Clash on Field
After Michigan’s stunning 13-10 victory over No. 2 Ohio State on Saturday at Ohio Stadium, tensions boiled over on the field.
The Wolverines, celebrating their upset win, attempted to plant a flag at midfield, a move that sparked a physical confrontation with Buckeyes players. In the ensuing chaos, players from both teams were seen pushing and shoving each other, escalating the altercation.
In an effort to break up the scuffle, law enforcement officials appeared on the scene, with reports indicating that police used some form of spray, possibly pepper spray, to disperse the players. Several Michigan players, including Mason Graham and Marlin Klein, were seen walking away from the altercation as the spray filled the air. Michigan’s Tavierre Dunlap and Jason Hewlett were also pictured on social media squinting and appearing to react to the mist, suggesting they may have been affected by the spray.
The situation highlighted the intense rivalry between the two teams, with emotions running high following a dramatic finish to the game. While the altercation was brief, it served as a reminder of the fierce competition and pride at stake in the annual showdown between Michigan and Ohio State.
It’s unclear if any arrests were made stemming from the chaos.
Senate Republican Officially Introduces Bill to Abolish the Department of Education
Senate Republican Officially Introduces Bill to Abolish the Department of Education
A bill championing Donald Trump’s long-stated goal to abolish the federal Department of Education has officially been introduced in the Senate by Republican Mike Rounds of South Dakota.
The Returning Education to Our States Act proposes redistributing $200 billion in funding and the department’s responsibilities to states and other federal agencies.
“The federal Department of Education has never educated a single student, and it’s long past time to end this bureaucratic department that causes more harm than good,” said Rounds.
The bill outlines plans to reassign federal student loan administration to the Treasury Department, special education protections under IDEA to Health and Human Services, and oversight of international programs like Fulbright-Hays to the State Department.
While Rounds is optimistic about passing the bill through reconciliation with a Republican majority, the legislative hurdles remain steep. Experts warn about the implications of eliminating the department. David DeMatthews, a University of Texas professor, expressed fears about losing federally enforced protections for students with disabilities and marginalized groups, stating, “They want rights if the state is not doing a good job, and all of that comes from the federal special education law.”
Since its inception in 1980, the Department of Education has been a partisan battleground. Trump’s campaign echoed longstanding Republican goals, pledging to dismantle the department, defund schools teaching “critical race theory” or “gender ideology,” and return control to states. Critics argue that abolishing the department risks undoing decades of civil rights advancements, leaving vulnerable students without critical safeguards.
