#RHOA: Drew Sidora Responds to Claims She Gave RHOA’s Kenya Moore the Brit Eady Photos

So much drama on the latest season of Real Housewives of Atlanta. It feels like the peaches are clearing rumors and throwing shade left and right these days. Drew Sidora recently cleared up some rumors about herself including if she was the one who gave Kenya Moore the Brit Eady photos (spoiler alert: she said she didn’t!).

Kenya exiting the show on the heels of exposing (pun intended) Brit may have been the biggest bomb of the season (so far). But that doesn’t mean the other girls don’t have their share of drama. Drew is feuding with Porsha Williams (who isn’t at this point) and she’s going on record to address rumors about her dating life, her friendship with Kenya, and more.
Kenya Moore was Drew Sidora’s only “genuine” RHOA friend, but she didn’t give her the Brit Eady photos
Drew appeared on the Reality with Carlos King podcast and spoke candidly about a wide range of topics.

She touched on her tumultuous divorce from Ralph Pittman, her thoughts on the Dennis and Porsha drama, and about her friendship with Kenya and what she categorically did not give her.

ICYMI, earlier in the season Kenya was beefing with Brit. A gun was mentioned and then, in what will go down in Housewives history, Kenya exposed NSFW photos of Brit during her special event. Carlos asked Drew about the supposed genesis of the photos. “You were there during the whole debacle at the hair salon,” Carlos began carefully (at the 54:35 mark). “And I want to get your thoughts on this because there are rumors out there that you, allegedly, are the one that gave Kenya those photos of Brit?”
Drew huffed and answered, “Oh god. I’m so very busy aren’t I? I mean, I’m dating this person and Dennis. And now … what did I go to Kinkos? Did I print them and download? Child, this is a lot. I’m tired,” she sighed. “This is a lot of finger pointing and making Drew the scapegoat of other people’s actions.”
She reiterated that Kenya, who she misses a lot, didn’t tell anyone what she was planning to do. “No one knew that Kenya was looking up Brit and trying to find things wherever she found them. But no, it was not me.”

The Real Housewives of Atlanta continues every Sunday at 8/7c on Bravo and on Hayu in the UK and Ireland.

#MusicNews: Eric Benét Reveals ‘The Co-Star’ Cover & Tracklist Featuring Collabs With India.Arie, Melanie Fiona, Ari Lennox
It’s been almost a decade since Eric Benét released a new album (his 2016 self-titled project), but that’s changing in a matter of weeks. His latest set The Co-Star is due out on Friday, June 6th, and he’s fully in album mode and sharing more details about the highly anticipated collection of duets, including the cover artwork, tracklist and full roster of collaborators.

Though he’s singing with over a dozen women on this LP, Benét is solo dolo on The Co-Star’s front cover. The forever fine crooner is suited in a chocolate pinstriped suit with a black t-shirt and colorful scarf hanging from his neck for a little razzle dazzle. He’s standing next to a female dressmaker form, almost like a fashion designer thinking about creating something fabulous for his next muse.
Eric found many muses to join him on The Co-Star, the evolution of his 2024 Duets EP. That five-song project has grown into a 13-track album. Three songs from Duets find a home on The Co-Star – the singles “Something We Can Make Love To” featuring Tamar Braxton, “So Distracted” with Chanté Moore and “Fly Away” alongside Corinne Bailey Rae. The songs “Right Time” that featured Ledisi and “Work It Out” with LaTocha aren’t included on the album, but Benét incorporates many more talented women.

The tracklist flaunts a long list of ladies who stepped up to Eric’s mic. He invited his neo-soul contemporaries, like India.Arie, Goapele and Melanie Fiona, and a few of the new R&B girlies, such as Ari Lennox and Alex Isley. Up-and-coming singer Autumn Paige, who’s signed to his label JBR Creative Group, will sing on a track with Jordin Sparks and EB. The Voice contestant, musician and Prince protégée Judith Hill is in the lineup, as well as the Italian trio SalDoce and pop singer Pia Toscano. Rounding the roster out is Keri Hilson, who joins Eric on his current single “Can’t Wait,” a bonafide bop that has found a spot on our spring fling playlists.
We expect to have many more additions to our playlists when Eric Benét’s The Co-Star drops in June. You can peruse the full tracklist below, and if you’re in the DMV area during his release weekend, help Eric celebrate his new album and enjoy a performance to remember at the 32nd Annual Capital Jazz Fest in Columbia, Maryland on Sunday, June 8th.

#HipHopNews: A$AP Rocky Drops New Song Snippet While Partying With Rihanna
A$AP Rocky has dropped a brand new snippet from Don’t Be Dumb at the Cannes Film Festival.
Rocky was attending the premiere of his new film Highest 2 Lowest alongside longtime girlfriend, Rihanna, and the two were spotted at an afterparty hosted by Ray-Ban.

During the event, the DJ began playing an unreleased song from the New Yorker as Rocky and Rihanna stood behind him, vibing out to the dance-infused track.
Another snippet was played as Rocky and Rihanna walked the red carpet in the rain alongside the likes of Denzel Washington and Spike Lee.

LISTEN
This song was closer to the sound fans generally associate with the “Fashion Killa” rapper.
At Cannes to launch his biggest film role to date, Rocky previously revealed that he auditioned for a role in Star Wars.
Speaking to Variety, Rocky admitted that he was not at the top of his acting game back when he attended the casting around a decade ago: “I auditioned for Star Wars — for Lando — and my audition was trash. I was trash that day.

He also said Donald Glover was deserving of the role: “My man Childish Gambino was a way better Lando than I would’ve provided at that time. And I think he looked a little more like [Billy Dee Williams] than me.”
Rocky was also asked if he’s still put himself forward for a Star Wars role in the future and he answered: “Hell, yeah.”
In an interview with The Run Through with Vogue, Rocky revealed what Washington was listening to on the set of the Highest 2 Lowest.

He said: “Denzel would pull up to the movie set playing Pooh Shiesty and Moneybagg Yo, swear to God. Can’t make this up.”
Rocky added: “He likes to listen to Memphis rappers, but modern Memphis rappers. Then he started quoting NLE Choppa. I’m like, ‘You know NLE Choppa?!’ He like, ‘I don’t do drive-bys now, walk ’em down.’ I’m like, ‘Yo, Denzel, chill!’ It was crazy, he’s really tapped in, man.”
Highest 2 Lowest is set to premiere in cinemas on August 22 before being released exclusively on Apple TV+ on September 5.

Sex Worker Claims Diddy Dressed Like A Muslim Woman To Conceal Identity During “Freak-Off”

If you thought the Diddy sex trafficking trial would reveal weird information, you were right. A sex worker recently testified and claimed that the 55-year-old artist dressed himself like a Muslim woman during one of the “freak-offs” they attended.
Sharay James, also referred to as The Punisher, revealed that he wasn’t aware of the Bad Boy co-founder’s identity initially because he was wearing a disguise. “I could not see his face,” he said. “He had what the Muslim women wear, where their face is completely covered and you could only see his eyes.”

Outside of the veil, the controversial mogul would allegedly be completely naked. James claimed that Puff would act as director for his sexual activity with Cassie, which made things awkward for him. “Me, personally, a sexual scenario with a woman’s partner present actively giving directions was not the norm for me, so it created some discomfort that could affect my performance,” he said.
Sharay James is the second sex worker to testify in Diddy’s sex trafficking trial. The first was Daniel Philip, who claimed that Cassie once asked him to urinate in his mouth. Emily Johnson, one of the prosecutors, previously said that the “Me & U” singer felt like she was choking when an escort urinated in her mouth.

Philip also spoke on his inability to stay sexually aroused after seeing the former REVOLT chairman abuse Cassie, specifically claiming that he threw a bottle at her, grabbed her by the hair, and dragged her into another room. He also claimed that he heard noises that sounded like someone being slapped.
“I was shocked. It came out of nowhere. I was terrified. I didn’t know what to do,” he said when asked why he did not intervene. “In my mind … if I tried to do something I might lose my life. My thoughts were, [Combs] was someone with unlimited power. … My life was at risk.” Philip also shared that if he did not perform sexually to Diddy’s standard, he would not be paid for his work.

Chris Brown Speaks Out After Being Released on Bail
Chris Brown made his first public comment after being released on bail in his ongoing U.K. assault case. On Wednesday, the singer shared a brief message on Instagram Stories, writing:

“FROM THE CAGE TO THE STAGE!!!! BREEZYBOWL”
The post comes after a judge at Southwark Crown Court approved Brown’s release on £5 million ($6.7 million USD) bail, which includes conditions requiring his continued cooperation with the court. The 36-year-old artist is currently facing grievous bodily harm charges related to an alleged 2023 incident at Tape nightclub in Manchester, where he’s accused of striking music producer Abe Diaw with a tequila bottle. Brown has not yet entered a plea.

Despite the legal proceedings, Brown is expected to move forward with his upcoming BreezyBowl tour, which begins June 15 in Manchester—just two days after his next court appearance.
So far, there have been no announced changes to the tour schedule across the U.K. and Ireland.Chris Brown freed on $6.7 million bail by U.K. court ahead of assault trial

Chris Brown, the singer and rapper facing trial in the United Kingdom next month for an alleged nightclub attack, was released on $6.7 million bail after a Wednesday hearing.
Brown, 36, is now technically free to commence his U.K. and Ireland tour that begins in Manchester on June 15, two days after his trial is due to start in London.
Judge Tony Baumgartner told Southwark Crown Court on Wednesday that Brown could be freed subject to a £5 million ($6.7 million) bail payment, which would be forfeit if certain conditions are not met or he fails to turn up at his next court appearance, the British Press Association reported.

Brown was not present in court for the bail hearing. The singer is accused of causing grievous bodily harm by throwing a tequila bottle in a nightclub in Manchester in 2023. He has yet to enter a plea in the case.
Brown was previously arrested for assaulting the singer Rihanna, an ex-girlfriend, in 2009 and he pleaded guilty to felony assault that same year.
In 2017, Brown’s ex-girlfriend, model Karrueche Tran, was granted a five-year restraining order against him. In 2022, he was accused of drugging and raping a woman on a yacht in 2020 in a lawsuit filed in Los Angeles County Court. That case was later dismissed for lack of prosecution after no one from either side showed up for a scheduled hearing, NBC Palm Springs reported.

NFL Owners Vote to Keep the Tush Push Legal

It was announced this morning, after a 22-10 vote by the NFL owners, that the “tush push” is alive and not going anywhere anytime soon. The Green Bay Packers submitted a proposal in February to ban the near-unstoppable play, citing player safety and competitiveness.

The Baltimore Ravens, New England Patriots, Detroit Lions, and the New York Jets were among the teams that voted against the ban.
Eagles legend Jason Kelce flew into Minnesota to shut down rumors that the tush push was unsafe. He addressed claims that he decided to retire due to frequent injuries from the play. Kelce made the trip to answer any questions and put those rumors to rest.

He spoke about the vote on his New Heights podcast.
“There were some things said at the last owners’ meeting—some of the owners and coaches hinted that the reason I stopped playing was because of the tush push, and that I got hurt on the tush push frequently,” Kelce said. “I’m just going to answer any questions people have about my participation in this play. I don’t care whether it gets banned or not.

At the end of the day, this is why you vote on things, and if they vote to ban the tush push, the Eagles are still going to run a quarterback sneak at a very high percentage. I’m just going to offer—if anybody has any questions about the tush push, or whether I retired because of the tush push—I’ll tell you: I’ll come out of retirement today if you tell me, ‘All you gotta do is run 80 tush pushes to play in the NFL.’ I’ll do that gladly. It’ll be the easiest job in the world.”

Ryan Clark torches RGIII for going off on Angel Reese
Former NFL star Ryan Clark went thermonuclear on fellow ex-footballer Robert Griffin III for his extremely disparaging remarks aimed at WNBA star Angel Reese.
Clark, a former Pittsburgh Steelers defensive back, laid a crushing blow on Griffin (nicknamed “RGIII”) when he eviscerated the ex-NFL quarterback for denigrating Reese and saying she hates WNBA juggernaut Caitlin Clark.

The explosive argument happened after RGIII said that he doesn’t care what Angel Reese says publicly, he declared authoritatively that Reese hates Clark.
“Guys, it’s so obvious that Angel Reese hates Caitlin Clark,” Griffin said in a video posted on Twitter. His wife, who is White, is sitting in the background as Griffin goes off on Reese, a Black woman.
“I know what hatred looks like. Angel Reese hates Caitlin Clark. Not some basketball rivalry hate, either. Hate,” he said vehemently and repeatedly.
Ryan, who despite his surname is not related to Caitlin, took great exception to RGIII’s comments and clapped back on his “Pivot” podcast, saying that RGIII doesn’t sympathize with Reese’s plight of being constantly attacked because he is married to a White woman.

“The one thing we know about RG3 is he’s not having conversations at his home about what Black women have to endure in this country, about what young Black women and athletes like Angel Reese have had to deal with being on the opposite side of Caitlin Clark’s rise and ascension into stardom,” Ryan Clark said in a video on Twitter.
Ryan Clark and Robert Griffin III were teammates with Washington in 2014. Later, the two were co-workers at ESPN from 2021-2024.

That’s what makes this situation all the more appalling in Ryan’s eyes. “Now, if you’re RG3, when was the last time within your household you’ve had a conversation about what (Reese) is dealing with? You haven’t been able to do that, because in both of your marriages you’ve been married to White women,” Ryan said about RGIII.
RGIII later returned to his eponymous show, this time absent of his White wife, and excoriated Clark for bringing his spouse into a sports conversation.
“There’s a line you don’t cross in life and Ryan Clark sprinted past it,” RG3 posted on Twitter. “Let me be clear. It is wildly inappropriate, wrong and extremely low to weaponize and attack a person’s wife, marriage and their family because you disagree with a sports take.”

Griffin continued, saying, “Disagree with me all you want. Challenge my take. But keep my family and wife out of it. That’s a boundary that should always be respected. Ryan Clark personally attacking me and my family personally over a sports opinion is cowardly, spineless, and weak.”

Clark responded to RGIII with pure venom. He took off after RGIII like a torpedo zeroing in on a stationary target.
“You’re a phony, bro. One of the worst teammates I ever had both on the field and in TV,“ Ryan Clark said.
Clark added that he “saved” RGIII on ESPN’s “Monday Night Football” show.

“I urged people to let you be you. No matter how corny, how bad a teammate you were I had your back,” Clark said. “What did you do? Invite someone on your show you know I don’t fool with to ask questions about me, and then hit me weeks later to tell me you’re gonna challenge one of my takes!”

Rod Wave Arrested on Charges Including Aggravated Assault, Lawyers Say 'No Truth' to Claims

When reached for comment by Complex on Wednesday, Drew Findling and Marissa Goldberg, attorneys for Wave, said “there is no truth” to the allegations against their client.
“There is no truth to these charges,” the Findling Law Firm attorneys told Complex. “Rod Green was a victim of a burglary and committed no crimes. How he was even charged as a result of this situation is incomprehensible. This will absolutely be resolved favorably to Mr. Green.”

A rep for the Milton Police Department, meanwhile, has also shared a statement. In it, the department rep says that officers responded to “a possible domestic disturbance” call at an area residence. Per police, officers “determined the situation involved a previously unreported burglary and the subsequent discharge of a firearm.” Wave, police added, later turned himself in to local authorities. An investigation remains active.

As first reported by USA Today, Wave was arrested on Tuesday, May 20 on multiple charges, including aggravated assault and tampering with evidence. The arrest, per initial reports, stems from an incident alleged to have occurred on April 21, although exact circumstances were not immediately clear.
Online arrest records confirm that the charges are in connection with an alleged incident on April 21. As of this writing, local law enforcement agencies do not appear to have elaborated on the nature of this incident, at least not publicly.

When reached for comment by Complex on Wednesday, a rep for the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that Wave had been booked into the agency’s jail on an outstanding warrant.
The full list of charges, according to jail records viewed by Complex, are: aggravated assault, possession of firearm or knife during commission of or attempt to commit certain felonies, pointing or aiming gun or pistol at another, reckless conduct, criminal damage to property - second degree, willful obstruction of law enforcement officers - misdemeanor, tampering with evidence - felony, possession of firearm or knife during commission of or attempt to commit certain felonies, simple assault, reckless conduct, criminal damage to property - second degree, willful obstruction of law enforcement officers - misdemeanor, tampering with evidence - felony, and conspiracy to commit a felony.

Complex has reached out to Rod Wave's reps for comment, as well as to the Milton Police Department. This story may be updated.
In April of last year, Bradford Cohen and Mark Rankin, attorneys for Wave, disputed his arrest that month in Florida. As TMZ reported at the time, the attorneys said that the then-current charge of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon was incorrect, as Wave “is not a convicted felon and has never been a convicted felon.”

Last Lap, Wave’s most recent studio album, arrived last October via Alamo Records. The album, Wave’s sixth and the follow-up to the previous year’s Nostalgia, opened at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart.

Anthony Anderson’s Encino Home Broken Into While He Attended Howard University Fundraiser, LAPD Investigating
Los Angeles police are investigating a break-in at Anthony Anderson’s home. Authorities say three burglars entered the “black-ish” actor’s Encino residence Sunday night. Anthony Anderson confirmed to KABC it was his primary home, and that he was attending his foundation’s fundraiser in Palm Springs to support Howard University students when he got the news.

It remains unclear if anything was stolen, and no arrests have been made. LAPD detectives noted that burglary crews often unknowingly target celebrity homes due to the size and value of the properties. An investigation is ongoing.

Queen Latifah says being told to lose weight on “Living Single” inspired her mission to change the narrative about body image

Queen Latifah continues to use her platform to uplift and inform. From music and film to TV and philanthropy, the legendary multihyphenate also teamed up with Novo Nordisk to raise awareness about the link between weight and heart health. The campaign’s website, TruthAboutWeight.com, offers resources to help people better understand obesity as a chronic condition and start more informed, judgment-free conversations with their doctors — especially in communities where stigma often stands in the way of care. It’s a mission that hits close to home for Latifah, who recalled being asked to lose weight during her “Living Single” days despite starring on a hit show.

REVOLT caught up with the icon to talk about the campaign, her reflections on “The Equalizer” ending after five seasons, her future as a producer and actress, and yes — whether new music is on the way. Read the full conversation below.

You’ve had an incredible career spanning music, film, TV, and now you’re using your platform to raise awareness about health — specifically the connection between weight and heart health. What made you want to get involved in this conversation around obesity and heart health?

Well, it was a conversation that Novo Nordisk and I had. They came in to visit me on the set of one of our movies in New Mexico and said they wanted to do a campaign that knocked down the stigma and bias of people living with obesity. I thought that was a great idea, and it was just about figuring out how to do that. Here we are years later down the line with our relationship and we’ve made so much progress. We wanted to talk about truthaboutweight.com, which has a lot of information that people can really use because we do need to make sure that people understand that obesity is a disease, that it's an epidemic here, and that it impacts two out of five Americans — disproportionately people of color — and that it is chronic, but it's manageable.

We also needed to raise the connection between obesity and cardiovascular disease. Seventy percent of the people living with obesity die from cardiovascular disease, and that is just too large of a number to be acceptable when there's something that you can do about it. Getting the word out about it — dealing with stigma and bias is one thing — but really getting the word out about how severe a medical situation this could be is important, especially if there's something that you can do to change that outcome. And that's what we want to do: change the outcomes. People want to live long, healthy lives, enjoy their families and reach their goals in life. And if there's something that can be done to change that, then that's something that we need to know.

Were there any personal experiences or stories that made this mission even more meaningful to you?

I mean, there have been many stories along the way. You know? When you do what I do for a living, you step into a lot of spaces where people don't look like you. And I also realized that I was representing for a lot of people. So, for me, just looking the way I do, having the body that I have. There are times when it was great for me to be heavier in my body because I represented so many women who felt underrepresented. At the same time, we want to live long, healthy lives too. So, health is what is most important.

At one point, we were approached while doing “Living Single,” and I was probably 24. We had the No. 1 show among Black and Latino households, and we were told that the word came down that they wanted us to lose weight. And my instant reaction to that was absolutely not. I'm not losing a pound. Are you crazy? Like, what are you talking about? We look like what real women look like. We are representing what four women from Brooklyn look like. And we all look different from one to the next. We have such a successful show, we’re doing all the right things, and this is the one thing that you actually have to say, and you don't even know what you're talking about. Maybe you should go take a trip to Brooklyn over the summer and see what people from Brooklyn actually look like. That’s the way I felt at that time.

That being said, again, we want to be healthy. We want to feel good about our bodies. We want to feel good about our self-image, our self-esteem, but we also want to be healthy. So we want to make sure that we're sharing the information that allows us to live long, healthy lives. Combating living with obesity is one of the things we have to do because there are ways that we can do that, and that's something that you have to deal with, with your physician. You gotta get in the office, and y'all have to talk it out, and you have to open up and be real about what you're feeling, get those numbers, see where you are, and see what the plan is. And it's not as simple as, “Oh, you're not trying hard enough,” or “You're not thinking about this the right way,” or “You're not walking enough,” or “You're not working hard enough.” No, it has nothing to do with any of those things. It's really about it being a medical condition that should be dealt with in a medical setting with a professional who can help guide you through it. Even that is about empowering people. Empowering not just women, but men as well. A lot of men are dealing with this as well. So empowering everyone to be able to combat it.

What’s one thing you wish more people knew about the link between weight and heart health that you’ve learned through this partnership with Novo Nordisk?

That so much of the illness of it is preventable with more awareness, and with more support, and with more tools, and with greater understanding. You know? Now that I'm thinking about it, it's not just a cousin that I've lost to this. One of my really good friends who, if it wasn't for him, I wouldn't be here — he dealt with heart disease, cardiovascular disease, and obesity and weight issues that were progressive over time. Because I had known him since he was in high school, I watched this happen over a period of time. I watched the challenges that he faced with weight, with heart disease.

Also, my producer, The 45 King, I watched what he went through, dealing with cardiovascular disease, also related to his weight. We had conversations about it. He lost a hundred pounds. I remember him telling me, “I stopped eating this, and I cut out that. My doctor told me about this, and I started doing that.” He really was very proud of himself and how he was able to take this thing down over time. Now, unfortunately, a lot of the damage was done. Had this been something he was able to approach honestly at an earlier age, at an earlier time in his life, I think he might have been able to overcome it. But maybe not. Maybe he was actually just able to extend his life a longer. So, it's not just like some magic thing that happens that takes it all away but if you can live longer and live healthier for that period of time, then how many more memories is that? How many more graduations is that? How many more births of family members? How many more barbecues, and how many more records, and movies, and vacations, and just how much more love do you get to share because you had this many more years in your life? And I know for me as a parent, and for anybody I know who's a parent, would love to have more time with their children. So, this is one of the ways that can happen.

Now switching gears a bit, “The Equalizer” came to a close after an amazing five-season run. Congrats on all the success with that show. Looking back, what are you most proud of from the series?

Thank you and oh my goodness, there's so many proud moments I have from “The Equalizer.” I mean, just the fact that we went from just shooting a pilot to all of a sudden, “Don’t worry about the pilot.” They ordered 13 episodes. And I was like, “Huh? Okay.” I wasn’t quite in my karate-fit shape that I wanted to be, but okay. So, I’m just happy that we were able to get a show off the ground during a pandemic. We were one of the first shows to go into production, and we shot under some extremely difficult circumstances. We assembled an amazing cast, an amazing crew, great writers, and we were able to create a hit show on a network in the middle of this time when every streaming service went up and everything was happening, and more content was being required of people than ever. We managed to make something that was a quality show that people loved and really came to rely on. And a show that was based on seeking justice every week.

I’m very proud of what we were able to do. We made it through a writers’ strike that went on for quite a long time. We made it through an actors’ strike. I mean, we all went on strike, and we managed to make it through that period of time and still have the love of the people and the love of this show. I'm proud of all the fans who stuck with us through it. I just think it was a fantastic show. Every department came through. And even the city of New York and New Jersey were also the stars of this show, just in location, in backdrop, and just all of the people.

I’m also extremely proud of the diverse crew that we were able to cast, that we were able to create a show that had a woman at the helm of the studio, at the helm of the producers’ tables, and as a star of the show — No. 1 on the call sheet. We brought a great deal of directors to that show to direct episodes. I would put my money on anybody on my crew. We were able to shoot through some hellified conditions with masks in a terrifying time in our world. So, I think they can go on and do anything. There's nothing that they can’t do. So, I feel very proud to have been a part of it.

You mentioned you’ll be “kicking a**” in another project. Can you give us any hints on what you've signed on for as an actress or a producer?

You know, I have so many things on my plate right now that I'm not doing anything. I've decided I gotta just sit and pray about it and just enjoy reading the many scripts and enjoy my family because I’ve been sharing my family with this show. My son is six now and he was a baby when this all started. I get to sing “Twinkle Twinkle” in person and I take a great deal of pride in that. I’m actually just enjoying being home for a minute. Whatever will be next, y’all will be the first to know about it. So, I just hope you support the next thing like you’ve been supporting me on all the other crazy stuff we’ve done throughout these years.

You’ve done it all — music, TV, film, producing, advocacy, and more. Is there something you haven’t done yet that’s still on your bucket list?

I need to figure out how to manage to get eight hours of sleep for, like, seven days in a row. You know what I mean? I’ve been working on it for years. I can’t quite nail it. [Laughs] No, just kidding. I’m sure there’s a bunch of things I’m probably not thinking of right now. But right now, I think I’ll be happy to help with this mission right here, which is to get people to truthaboutweight.com. If I can help affect their lives, then I’ve done my job. That means somebody else gets to go on and live and do great things with their lives, and that halo effect right there is good. I’m good with that.

The people want to know… are we ever getting another Queen Latifah album? Or maybe a surprise feature or tour?

You see, you remember when I said I was gonna pray about it just a second ago? Because everybody wants all those things, and I have a lot of that at my disposal. So, I’m just trying to figure out what comes first. We are definitely gonna drop some new music, and we’ll see what happens from there.

What keeps you going? What’s your personal definition of success?

Coffee. Coffee keeps me going. Success is getting my cup of coffee in the morning — and then it’s on. If I can get my coffee before everybody gets me, then I have already won. Do you understand? It’s the simple things in life. Let me get up and get to the coffee first, and then we can do anything. [Laughs] But, no, I’m already successful. I’m blessed. I got a family who loves me. I have friends who care about me. I got God in my life. I’m blessed. That’s my definition of success, having that.

Eagles Star Jalen Hurts Keeps It Short on White House Absence: “I Wasn’t Available”
Jalen Hurts is doubling down on his stance that his busy schedule was the reason for his White House absence
The Philadelphia Eagles quarterback, fresh off a Super Bowl victory, was noticeably absent when his team visited Donald Trump at the White House on April 28th. A total of 12 players, including Hurts, skipped the celebratory visit, sparking speculation about the reasoning behind their decisions.

“I wasn’t available,” Hurts told reporters on Tuesday. “I don’t think that’s pertinent. Everyone who went, and was available, they seemed to enjoy themselves.”
Questions around Hurts’ attendance began swirling weeks earlier. When asked at the TIME100 Gala on April 24th if he planned to attend, Hurts smiled but declined to respond. By May 5th, he was seen attending the Met Gala in New York City alongside his wife, Bryonna “Bry” Rivera Burrows, in coordinated Burberry outfits.

Other Eagles players who didn’t show up included stars like A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, and Darius Slay.
During the visit, Trump praised Saquon Barkley and threw shade at Taylor Swift, saying, “I was there along with Taylor Swift. How did that one work out?”

Since the big win, Hurts has been enjoying his offseason as a newlywed. In a recent Men’s Health feature, Hurts confirmed his marriage, stating, “You can call her my wife.”

Denzel Washington Ditches Cannes Press Conference Following Photog Dust Up

This week actor Denzel Washington was spotted on the red carpet for the premier of his new movie, 'Highest 2 Lowest' at the Cannes Film Festival in a heated argument with a photographer
The next day Denzel was conspicuously absent from the Highest 2 Lowest press conference....

Denzel Washington skipped Tuesday’s “Highest 2 Lowest” press conference at the Cannes Film Festival following his headline-making exchange with a handsy photographer the previous day.
The Golden Globe winner, 70, pointed his finger and yelled at the male individual tapping on his arm, who laughed off the tense moment.
“Let me tell you — stop, stop. Never put your hands on me again,” Washington said on Monday, lip reader Jeremy Freeman told the Daily Mail Tuesday. “I’m talking to you. Stop, alright.”
When the shutterbug grabbed the “Training Day” star’s arm, Washington attempted to shake him off while seemingly repeating, “Stop it.” It is unclear whether the Oscar winner is still in France after the altercation.

Target cuts sales outlook as retailer blames tariff uncertainty and backlash to DEI rollback
Target missed first-quarter revenue estimates as transactions fell, and the retailer cut its full-year sales outlook.
The company has been struggling to return to growth for years, and created a new office to try to accelerate its turnaround.
Target in part blamed falling consumer sentiment, uncertainty about tariffs, and backlash to its rollback of key diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives for its performance.
Target on Wednesday cut its full-year sales outlook, as executives said weaker discretionary spending, consumer uncertainty about tariffs, and backlash to the company's rollback of key diversity, equity and inclusion efforts hurt its business.

First-quarter earnings and revenue missed Wall Street's expectations as sales fell nearly 3% compared with the year-ago period. Transactions across Target's stores and website dipped by 2.4%. And the average amount customers spent during their online and in-store visits decreased by 1.4%.

Target's weak performance in the quarter reflected the company's broader struggles to return to growth and recapture the cheap chic reputation and fan following that gave it the name ''Tarzhay." The company is trying to win back the loyalty and trust of shoppers and investors as its sales slump continues and after its shares plunged more than 37% in the last year, as of Tuesday's close.

On a call with reporters, CEO Brian Cornell pinned many of the retailer's problems on the economy. Yet he said Target is committed to doing better.
He referred to a statistic that Target shared on the call: Of the 35 merchandise categories that Target tracks internally, the company gained or held market share in only 15 – a reflection of sales that it is losing to retail competitors.

"We're not happy with that," Cornell said. "We've got to be growing [market] share in 60, 70, 80% of those categories. That's our focus over the balance of the year, and we're going to do that by making sure we provide a great shopping environment."
Target said it now expects a low-single-digit decline in sales this fiscal year, compared with a previous forecast of net sales growth of about 1%. It said it expects adjusted earnings per share, excluding gains from litigation settlements, to be about $7 to $9, compared with the range of $8.80 to $9.80 that it had previously anticipated.

Target also announced some leadership shake-ups and the creation of a new office intended to turn around its results. Chief Operating Officer Michael Fiddelke will oversee the new effort, called the Enterprise Acceleration Office, which will look for methods to simplify company operations, use technology in new ways and speed up Target's growth.

Target said in a news release that Amy Tu, chief legal and compliance officer, and Christina Henningon, chief strategy and growth officer, were leaving the company. Hennington, who was a key presenter on some of the company's earnings calls, had been widely considered in industry circles to be a candidate to succeed Cornell as CEO.

Here's what the Minneapolis-based retailer reported for the fiscal first quarter compared with Wall Street's estimates, according to a survey of analysts by LSEG:
Earnings per share: $1.30 adjusted vs. $1.61 expected
Revenue: $23.85 billion vs. $24.27 billion expected

In the three-month period that ended May 3, Target's net income rose to $1.04 billion or $2.27 per share, from $942 million, or $2.03 per share, in the year-ago period.
Revenue fell from $24.53 billion in the year-ago quarter.
Comparable sales declined by 3.8% in the quarter compared with the year-ago period, as comparable store sales fell 5.7% and digital sales grew 4.7%.

Target shares fell more than 5% in trading Wednesday.

Joe Biden’s Prostate Cancer Diagnosis Timeline Clarified in New Statement from Spokesperson

A representative for Biden now confirms that the former president was never previously diagnosed with the disease until May 2025
A representative for former U.S. President Joe Biden is revealing new details on his prostate cancer diagnosis.
In a statement to NBC News, Reuters and CBS News on Tuesday, May 20, a spokesperson for the former president, 82, said he received his last Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) test in 2014, when he would've been in his early 70s. The spokesperson confirmed that Biden was not diagnosed with cancer until Friday, May 16.

“President Biden’s last known PSA was in 2014. Prior to Friday, President Biden had never been diagnosed with prostate cancer,” the spokesperson said.

The PSA test is a blood test that screens for "prostate-specific antigen (PSA) in your blood. PSA is a protein produced by both cancerous and noncancerous tissue in the prostate, a small gland that sits below the bladder in males," per the Mayo Clinic.
Most prostate cancer diagnoses are discovered when the disease is in its early stages and has not spread to other parts of the body. Only 8% of prostate cancer cases are diagnosed after the disease has spread to other parts of the body, as is the case with Biden's, NBC News reports.

The level of aggression of the cancer is determined by the Gleason score and grade system. Biden's cancer has a Gleason score of 9 and is Grade 5, meaning it's a "very high grade," per the Mayo Clinic.
The updated timeline of Biden's diagnosis comes in response to questions about why his cancer was not discovered sooner, due to its advanced stage.

Donald Trump Jr. shared an unfounded allegation that Biden concealed the diagnosis during his time in the White House, and was secretly battling cancer during the late stages of his presidency.
“What I want to know is how did Dr. Jill Biden miss stage five metastatic cancer or is this yet another coverup???” President Donald Trump's eldest son, 47, wrote of the 73-year-old former first lady, whose doctorate degree is in education.
On Sunday, May 18, Biden's personal office announced in a statement that the former president had been diagnosed with the disease.
"Last week, President Joe Biden was seen for a new finding of a prostate nodule after experiencing increasing urinary symptoms," the statement said.

"On Friday, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer, characterized by a Gleason score of 9 (Grade Group 5) with metastasis to the bone," the statement continued. "While this represents a more aggressive form of the disease, the cancer appears to be hormone-sensitive which allows for effective management. The President and his family are reviewing treatment options with his physicians."
In a follow-up post shared to X, Biden posted a photo of himself with his wife, former First Lady Dr. Jill Biden, and the couple's cat, Willow.
"Cancer touches us all," Biden wrote. "Like so many of you, Jill and I have learned that we are strongest in the broken places. Thank you for lifting us up with love and support."

Department of Justice shuts down police reform agreements across the country, five years after George Floyd’s death
The U.S. Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division is ending federal police reform agreements in Minneapolis and Louisville, reversing years of accountability efforts.
Civil rights attorneys are resigning from the DOJ en masse, citing Trump’s influence as the reason.
Local leaders say they’ll continue reform efforts, but without federal backing, the future of oversight is uncertain.

Just days before the five-year anniversary of George Floyd’s murder, the U.S. Department of Justice announced it is backing out of federal reform deals with Minneapolis and Louisville — two cities forever linked to the modern fight against police brutality. The agreements, known as consent decrees, were meant to overhaul local policing practices after federal investigations exposed years of unconstitutional conduct, racial discrimination and excessive use of force.

But under President Trump’s second term, the Justice Department is changing course. Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Rights Division Harmeet Dhillon called the reform efforts “factually unjustified” and blamed them for pushing what she described as an “anti-police agenda.” In her words: “Overbroad police consent decrees divest local control of policing from communities where it belongs, turning that power over to unelected and unaccountable bureaucrats.” She added, “Today, we are ending the Biden Civil Rights Division’s failed experiment of handcuffing local leaders and police departments.”

Trump-era DOJ priorities target diversity, drop oversight of local police
The move doesn’t stop with Minneapolis and Louisville. The DOJ says it’s also ending federal investigations into police departments like Phoenix, Memphis, Oklahoma City, and more, despite previously finding patterns of excessive force and civil rights violations. Instead, Dhillon and the Trump administration are shifting the division’s focus to enforcing executive orders on antisemitism and dismantling diversity programs.

In Minneapolis, the city is already under a separate, court-enforced agreement with the Minnesota Department of Human Rights, and officials say that’s not changing. “While the Department of Justice walks away... our department and the state court consent decree [aren't] going anywhere,” said Commissioner Rebecca Lucero.

Louisville also reached a deal with the DOJ in late 2024, following years of protests after the police killing of Breonna Taylor. That agreement, too, now won’t be enforced at the federal level. Still, Louisville Mayor Craig Greenberg insisted the city will push forward: “We are moving ahead rapidly to continue implementing police reform that ensures constitutional policing while providing transparency and accountability to our community.”

DOJ faces massive staff exodus as civil rights work gets dismantled
This announcement came on the heels of reporting that roughly 70 percent of attorneys in the DOJ’s Civil Rights Division have either quit or plan to leave. According to NPR, many are walking away in protest of the department’s new direction. “The division is being decimated,” said former DOJ attorney Stacey Young. “It doesn't exist to enact the president's own agenda. That's a perversion of the separation of powers and the role of an independent Justice Department.”

For many, the message is clear: The Trump administration is rewriting the role of the DOJ and pulling back from a fight that millions took to the streets for.
