#RHOA: Porsha Williams Debuts Girlfriend Patrice “Sway” McKinney
Porsha Williams is peachy keen on her new romance. Nearly six months after she finalized her divorce from Simon Guobadia, the Real Housewives of Atlanta alum debuted her new relationship with girlfriend Patrice “Sway” McKinney.
In pictures shared to Instagram Nov. 28, Sway wrapped her arms around Porsha as the pair posed in front of a Christmas tree and laughed. In one snap, Sway grabbed Porsha’s butt as she kissed her on the cheek.
One of the accompanying videos also featured the pair dancing at a nightclub as the Bravo star wrapped her arm around the professional stylist and salon owner, placing her head on her shoulder.
“Happiest Birthday @sway_thepro,” Porsha wrote in the caption. “Hope this year continues to bring you everything you want and more!” She added, “Can’t wait to act up saturday!”
Last month, Porsha—who split from Simon in February 2024—revealed she had whittled down her current dating pool to two people, confirming for the first time that she was seeing a woman.
"The people who I’m talking to now, it’s just two," she told fans during an appearance at CultureCon 2025 in a video shared from the event. "I narrowed it down to two, and he is nice and she is nice."
And after she waited for a shocked reaction from the crowd to die down, the 44-year-old—who is mom to 6-year-old daughter Pilar with ex Dennis McKinley—explained her mindset behind dating.
"I really just wanted to make sure that these were normal people,” she continued. “What I talked to my therapist the other day was, I’m having a hard time opening up because they’re not narcissists and guess what narcissists do? They love bomb you. They do everything, they look perfect. They mirror you, and these people are not."
Porsha added of her new flames, "They’re asking me questions, they’re not letting me walk over them."
And though some fans were surprised by her revelation, the upcoming Traitors contestant had previously hinted at not being able to “connect with other men” while noting that her dating life would look “different” after ending her relationship with Simon.
"When you go through a bad enough breakup, you're like, 'I don't like nobody,'" Porsha told People in June. "I was sitting there, I was like, 'Do I like women enough? Can I get with a woman? Who can come in and fill this void?' But I don't yet. It'll come."
While Porsha is no longer on Real Housewives of Atlanta, she certainly left her mark on the franchise. Read on to see where she falls among E!’s official ranking of every Housewife ever.

#HipHopNews: The NYPD Was Building Case On Pop Smoke Before Death, Former Chief. John Chell Says
Former NYPD Police Chief John Chell is offering one of the most detailed public explanations yet of how Pop Smoke became entangled in a wider gang investigation before his death.
Chell revealed new context during the Nov. 27 episode of The John Rondi Show. Chell, who retired in October 2025 after decades with the department, revisited several hip-hop–related cases from his tenure before turning to the late Brooklyn star.
“Now, a case I was personally involved in… So now, we’re going to go to 2019, 2020, Pop Smoke, who lived in Canarsie, Brooklyn,” Chell said as he opened the discussion.
He described Pop Smoke as a charismatic new force in New York drill. Born Bashar Barakah Jackson, he lived in Canarsie and was allegedly close to neighborhood crews. According to Chell, the rapper was “down with the G-Stone Crips… a big crew,” and his sudden rise drew attention as the NYPD investigated the group.
“He’s the upcoming star, if you will, and we were into that gang, and he was part of it, but we didn’t have much on Pop,” said Chell.
Chell said the department’s main leverage point came from the rapper’s high-profile 2019 case involving a Rolls-Royce Wraith.
“What Pop did was he had stole a Rolls Royce from, I think it was L.A., and brought it back to Canarsie,” he recalled. “And we made arrest and we tried to leverage that.”
He explained that those tactics are often used when officers believe a rising artist is still attached to street alliances. “You might be running with the gang guys, and they’re your friends,” Chell said. “But you got a lot more to lose. You got millions, you’re a rising star.”
But before the NYPD could advance its larger investigation, news broke that Pop Smoke had been killed during a February 2020 home invasion in Los Angeles.
“As we were cultivating this whole gang case, I believe he got murdered in a home invasion in L.A. That was Pop,” Chell said, pausing to acknowledge the gravity of the loss. He added that Pop Smoke had “a very distinct sound — didn’t he? It really was.”
Chell said the aftermath continued to shape Canarsie for years.
“So years after that, there was always a Pop Smoke Day in Canarsie,” he explained. “We had to put a lot of cops there because a lot of gang members showing up. It got dangerous.”
His comments offer a glimpse into the overlapping pressures of fame, loyalty, and police scrutiny that surrounded Pop Smoke’s rise. It persisted long after he was gone.

Diddy Reportedly Funds Thanksgiving Prison Feast For Inmates

Sean “Diddy” Combs organized a large Thanksgiving meal at FCI Fort Dix with fellow inmates, bringing an unusual sense of community to the prison.
On Thursday (Nov 25), Diddy reportedly helped to serve about 1,000 inmates with the help of a prison group called the “Bankroll Bosses.” To make the meal happen, they purchased extra food items from the prison commissary, using funds provided mostly by Diddy himself.
According to his rep, who spoke to TMZ, the group used their commissary funds to buy ingredients and spent two days cooking and assembling food for every housing unit, enough to feed roughly 200 inmates per building.
Despite the challenges, of not having stoves or microwaves, the inmates made it work—with creativity and teamwork.
One inmate, a gang leader, known as B.I said the inmates improvised as best they could, even using their ID cards as makeshift knives.
Meals were delivered to each of the five housing units, feeding about 200 inmates per unit. The effort created a sense of family that many behind bars miss during the holidays.
Typically, prisons offer only a minimal holiday meal, like an “in-and-out” service featuring turkey roast with trimmings, mashed potatoes, corn, and dessert.
Reflecting on the initiative, Diddy said he wanted to help lift spirits during a difficult time.
“Thanksgiving, to me, is about making sure other people eat,” he shared, per TMZ. “Everybody misses their family. People get depressed during the holidays. We just wanted to come together as a family and do our own thing.”

Kris Boyd Back in the Hospital After Surviving Shooting
Kris Boyd, the 29-year-old cornerback for the New York Jets, has been readmitted to the hospital more than a week after being shot in Midtown Manhattan. The readmission came after what he described on social media as “health issues.”
Boyd was initially treated at a New York City hospital after he was shot in the abdomen early Nov. 16. Police said the bullet traveled into his lung and lodged in his pulmonary artery. He underwent multiple surgeries and appeared to be on the mend. On Nov. 19, he posted a photo from his hospital bed with the caption: “God is real, God is powerful! … I’m coming along, starting to breathe on my own now. Sincerely appreciate everyone!”
Teammates and coaches expressed relief. Jets coach Aaron Glenn said Boyd’s spirit lifted him: “he’s in good spirits.”
But on Wednesday night, Boyd posted again — this time revealing he had returned to hospital. “Please bare [sic] with me, I haven’t been in communication much,” he wrote. “I was released but had to return to the hospital due to my health issues.” He added gratitude to those who reached out. “I love and appreciate everyone of y’all dearly who has prayed/reached out even if I can’t get back to you!”
As of now, it remains unclear exactly what complications prompted the readmission. A Jets spokesperson offered no further medical details.
The shooting took place outside the Manhattan restaurant Sei Less just after 2 a.m. on Nov. 16. Police said Boyd had been with two Jets teammates and another friend when a confrontation erupted with a group that had been “chirping” about their clothes. Moments later, gunfire erupted.
Authorities believe the attack may have stemmed from a failed necklace theft, though it is unclear whether Boyd was the intended target. Surveillance video captured a suspect fleeing the scene in a vehicle, but no arrests have been made.
Investigators continue to appeal to the public for help identifying the shooter. The case remains open as detectives sift through evidence and witness accounts.
Among the worried supporters are teammates, fans and family — including Boyd’s wife and young child. Glenn said when he first spoke to Boyd, “the first thing I thought about was he just had a kid.”
Yet the journey ahead remains uncertain. In his most recent message, Boyd ended on a note of faith: “Head HIGH, God is not through with me yet!”

Morgan Freeman Reveals Possible Retirement from Acting

Legendary actor Morgan Freeman, now 88, says he sometimes entertains the idea of retiring from acting — though he isn’t making any firm plans just yet. In a wide-ranging interview about age, longevity and the meaning of work, Freeman allowed that the thought crosses his mind — but added he will keep performing as long as roles continue to come his way.
Freeman admits that after more than six decades in the spotlight his “appetite” for acting has dimmed slightly, though not enough to force retirement. “The appetite is still there,” he told reporters. “I will concede that it’s dimmed a little. But not enough to make a serious difference.”
He explained that every time his agent calls with a job offer — or someone says “they want you” — the old familiar feeling returns. Roles still matter, as does the chance to be part of a good story. “As soon as my agent says there’s a job or somebody wants you … the whole thing just boils back into where it was yesterday,” he said
Freeman credits much of his sustained drive to the simple philosophy borrowed from fellow actor Clint Eastwood: “Don’t let the old man in.” That means staying active — physically, mentally and creatively. “Keep moving. That is the secret to it all,” Freeman told the magazine.
Keeping busy seems to help. Freeman recently returned to the screen in the upcoming film Now You See Me: Now You Don’t, reprising his role as illusion debunker Thaddeus Bradley. He has also appeared in television and other film projects within the past year, underscoring that — despite some fatigue — he remains engaged in his craft.
Still, Freeman acknowledges that aging has changed the way he views his work and life. Approaching 90, he says questions like “Will I still be playing golf?” matter more than box office returns.
Freeman remains clear that he is not actively planning a farewell to acting. For him, retirement doesn’t feel like a decision — rather, it will arrive if and when the phone stops ringing. “If your phone keeps ringing, you’re probably going to keep working,” he once told a journalist.

Kandi Burruss Celebrates Thanksgiving – Addresses Why Todd Tucker Isn’t in the Photo
Over the Thanksgiving holiday, reality-star and musician Kandi Burruss shared a warm family photo on Instagram to mark the occasion. She captioned the post, “Happy Thanksgiving! I truly enjoyed my day with my fam. I hope you enjoyed yours! Now I feel stuffed like a turkey & need to lay down.” The image — which shows a large group gathered around what appears to be a dining-room staircase — reflects a cozy, multi-generational family gathering.
As fans and followers began speculating about why Todd Tucker, her husband of 11 years, was absent from the picture, Burruss took to the comments to clarify the situation. She wrote:
“Before anyone assumes anything Todd came earlier to eat with us but he wasn’t there for the pic. He was not left out or anything like that.”
Her statement aims to quash any rumors that Tucker was intentionally excluded from the family gathering. According to Kandi, he simply attended earlier and departed before the photo was taken — no drama, no snub.
Given recent public attention around Burruss and Tucker’s marriage, the post and her clarification are likely to be scrutinized. As of late November 2025, Burruss and Tucker have announced their decision to divorce after more than a decade together.
Nonetheless, this Thanksgiving snapshot — and Kandi’s explanation — suggests they chose to spend part of the holiday together with family, at least for dinner, even if they didn’t all appear in the photo.

Kim Kardashian Claims Kanye ‘Never Once Called’ as She Describes ‘Hard’ Co-Parenting

Kim Kardashian is opening up about how emotionally draining it can be to co-parent with her ex-husband Kanye West.
In the latest episode of The Kardashians, the 45-year-old reality star and businesswoman talks candidly about their dynamic during a car ride with Scott Disick. “I’m sorry about all that you’re going through. It looks stressful,” Disick tells her, noting that he sees things about the situation online and reacts like, “F–k.” Kim agrees that it’s “hard,” and explains that what frustrates her most is when West questions her “character as a mom.” She admits, “Sometimes I just feel like snapping, but I can’t. I just can’t.”
Kardashian says she has consistently tried to support “a relationship, but a healthy one” between West and their four children — North, 12, Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 6 — yet claims the rapper “never once called” despite those efforts.
Later, in a confessional, a producer points out that her “ex is very loud out there.” Kim responds that she refuses to engage with his behavior publicly, saying, “I just can’t really engage. I think it’s just for the better.” She explains that her “only focus and job” is to stay “strong” for her kids and keep their lives as stable as possible. Kardashian has shared similar concerns recently outside the show. During an October episode of Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast, she said it had been “a couple months” since she and the children had heard from West, noting, “Whenever he’ll call for them and ask, it’s probably been a couple months since we’ve heard from him.” She emphasized that the kids live with her full time, but she “welcomes a great, healthy relationship” between them and their father.

Curtis Jackson III, the rapper known professionally as 50 Cent, has agreed to settle a lawsuit accusing him of assault just days before Netflix is set to release the documentary he produced about Sean "Diddy" Combs.
Guadalupe de los Santos filed a civil complaint against Jackson earlier this year accusing the rapper of assaulting him in Los Angeles, a copy of which was obtained by PEOPLE.
In the complaint, de los Santos alleged that in September 2024, Jackson's SUV came up behind him while he waited at a traffic light and as it approached him "the front passenger door suddenly and forcefully opened, without warning or provocation, and struck [him] on his left side, knocking him and his scooter to the street."
De los Santos alleged in the complaint that "an occupant of the SUV, at Defendant's Jackson's direction, opened the door to intentionally strike him."
The complaint sought damages for assault, battery, intentional affliction of emotional distress and negligence in an amount to be determined at trial.

That being said, he also admitted that he doesn’t necessarily “want to be in the ring boxing for the next 15 years,” but thinks “there are clever ways and interesting characters” they’ve established to share and explore further.
“I still might be able to get a couple of really good swings at the franchise a bit more,” Michael added.
Specifically, he revealed that Amazon has picked up a show focusing on Adonis’ daughter, Amara, who he shares with Tessa Thompson‘s character Bianca Taylor-Creed in the films. Amara was played by Mila Davis-Kent in the movie.
“You’ll be seeing different parts of the Creed-verse, I like to call it,” he continued. “These little IPs are going to keep the universe alive without it being completely reliant on just me to push it through the finish line every time as a boxer. I’ll be adjacent.”

Former NFL Star Lem Barney Is Still Alive After False Death Report, His Son Confirms

Lem Barney is not dead following a inaccurate report saying otherwise.
The 80-year-old retired NFL player’s son confirmed he is still alive after the Pro Football Hall of Fame shared an email reporting he had died.
Lem‘s son Lem Jr told Detroit Free Press writer Dave Birkett that his father is definitely alive, and said he just saw him on Thanksgiving.
“OK. Talked to Lem Barney‘s son. He said Lem is alive. He said he Lem saw on Thanksgiving, started getting messages asking about his dad last night. He said he talked to Lem‘s nurse today, had her send a selfie, heard his voice in the background. ‘He’s good … He is alive,’” Dave shared on Twitter/X.
“Lem Jr said this is the second time in a few months he’s had to address false rumors about his dad’s passing. Said it happened after the flood in Texas earlier this year. ‘It’s like the boy who cried wolf sh-t now,’” he added.
The Pro Football Hall of Fame explained their error in a statement to People.
“Based on conflicting information regarding the reported passing of Lem Barney, the Pro Football Hall of Fame is rescinding the email sent earlier today,” PFHOF said. “The Hall has not been able to confirm such news independently. Please accept our apology.”
Lem Barney played 11 seasons in the NFL with the Detroit Lions, from 1967-1977 and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1992.

Lil Jon Faces Backlash After Leaving Black Wife for Non-Black Partner

WHOA hip-hop artist/producer/performer Lil Jon is under fire after going public with his new relationship and child with reality star Jamila Sozahdah. Critics claim he left his Black wife for a white woman, fueling debates about colorism and loyalty.
But the situation is more layered. While many on social media accuse him of abandoning his wife for a white woman, the truth is that Jamila is an Iranian-American Muslim—she’s not white. Still, her light skin and reality TV fame have sparked criticism.
Some fans are accusing Lil Jon of “trading in” his longtime Black wife for a woman who appears racially ambiguous. Posts on X and Lipstick Alley say his actions reflect a larger pattern in hip-hop culture.
One viral post read, “Another one leaves his Black queen for a light-skinned woman,” while others called it “textbook swirling.” The anger isn’t just about race—it’s about timing, optics, and community expectations.
Jonathan “Lil Jon” Smith married Nicole, a Black woman, in 2004. The couple mostly stayed private but appeared on HGTV’s “Tiny House Nation” in 2017.
They share a son, Nathan “Young Slade” Smith, who has followed his dad into DJing. In 2024, Lil Jon confirmed the couple had quietly separated in early 2022.
In 2023, Lil Jon began dating Jamila Sozahdah, a Muslim-American TV personality known for her large family and appearances on reality shows. Their relationship stayed quiet at first.
Jamila announced her pregnancy in early 2025 without naming the father. By midyear, forums confirmed that Lil Jon was the dad. The couple now shares a child, born earlier this year.
Fans voiced strong reactions after the baby news broke, criticizing Lil Jon for leaving his wife and dating someone non-Black. The story quickly spread across platforms like The Shade Room and Lipstick Alley.
Many accused him of abandoning the Black community, echoing a common critique of Black male celebrities who date outside their race after finding success.
Though Lil Jon and Nicole reportedly separated in early 2022, his relationship with Jamila surfaced publicly by late 2023. That led many to speculate on possible overlap.
Some online users questioned the speed of the transition. One post read, “He left a 20-year marriage for a new baby with a reality star? That’s wild.”
While backlash has been strong, others have defended Lil Jon’s choices. Fans pointed to his growth, especially after releasing his meditation album “Total Meditation” in 2024.
Neither Lil Jon nor Jamila has responded publicly. Jamila has continued posting family content online, ignoring the criticism.
The backlash goes beyond one relationship—it reflects ongoing tensions around race, image, and representation in hip-hop. Fans expect loyalty to the culture, especially from longtime artists.
Whether fair or not, Lil Jon’s new family has become a lightning rod for deep conversations about Black love and visibility.

#RIP: British playwright Tom Stoppard, who won Oscar for ‘Shakespeare in Love,’ Has died at 88
The award-winning British playwright and screenwriter Tom Stoppard has died, according to his talent agency United Agents. He was 88.
Stoppard, who was born in Czechoslovakia, was perhaps best known in the US for his Oscar-winning screenplay for the 1998 film “Shakespeare in Love,” which he co-wrote with Marc Norman.
More recently, he won his fifth Tony Award in 2023 for his play “Leopoldstadt.” He won his first Tony in 1968 for “Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead,” his metatheatrical spin on “Hamlet.”
Norman told CNN in an email that Stoppard was “a joy to work with.”
“He understood that Shakespeare, that icon, was an entertainer just like we were, and that spirit drove our screenplay,” Norman said. “My thoughts go out to his family.”
In a statement posted to its website, United Agents said: “We are deeply saddened to announce that our beloved client and friend, Tom Stoppard, has died peacefully at home in Dorset, surrounded by his family.
“He will be remembered for his works, for their brilliance and humanity, and for his wit, his irreverence, his generosity of spirit and his profound love of the English language,” the statement continued. “It was an honor to work with Tom and to know him.”
King Charles III, whose mother Queen Elizabeth knighted Stoppard in 1997, said in a statement Saturday that he and Queen Camilla were “deeply saddened to learn of the death of one of our greatest writers, Sir Tom Stoppard.”
“A dear friend who wore his genius lightly, he could, and did, turn his pen to any subject, challenging, moving and inspiring his audiences, borne from his own personal history,” Charles wrote. “We send our most heartfelt sympathy to his beloved family. Let us all take comfort in his immortal line: ‘Look on every exit as being an entrance somewhere else.’”
Born Tomas Straussler in Zlin, in what is now the Czech Republic, Stoppard was from a secular Jewish family who fled the Nazi invasion of the country in 1939, first to Singapore, then to Australia and India. Many of Stoppard’s extended family members were murdered in the Holocaust.
After young Tomas’ father died when the Japanese sank his boat off the Singaporean coast, his mother married an Englishman, Kenneth Stoppard, and the family moved to the United Kingdom. Tomas Straussler became Tom Stoppard.
Stoppard, who briefly worked as a journalist before his success in theatre, had a wide oevre. Alongside his many plays, he wrote radio dramas, satirical films like Terry Gilliam’s “Brazil,” as well as film adaptations of books, including his 2012 screenplay for “Anna Karenina” and his 1987 adaptation of JG Ballard’s roman-a-clef “Empire of the Sun.”
The playwright wrote in a 2024 essay published by the Huntington Theatre company that while he was born a Czech Jew, his life in Britain and his English stepfather had turned him into an “honorary Englishman.”
“I knew I was – used to be Czech, but I didn’t feel Czech,” Stoppard wrote. “I felt about as English as you could get.”
Later in life, Stoppard began to explore his personal history through his work. His most recent play, “Leopoldstadt,” traces a Jewish family in Vienna from the 1890s through World War II, obliquely referencing his family’s story.
“It’s been at the back of my mind,” Stoppard said of his family history in a 2022 interview. “It’s something I’ve never used. It felt like unfinished business.”
