#MAGFAB: Meghan Markle Covers HARPER’S BAZAAR’s 2025 Art Issue
Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex covers HARPER’S BAZAAR’s December 2025/January 2026 Art Issue, on newsstands December 2. In an exclusive interview with Kaitlyn Greenidge, Meghan opens up about pursuing a life and a career that feel authentic to her and her alone—and allowing herself to enjoy it too. “There’s no such thing as perfect. I, too, get to make mistakes…there’s also not a lot of fun in trying to be perfect. So why try to do that if you want to have fun?”

Meghan also discusses what she hopes her kids see when they see her working and how Harry always has her back: “No one in the world loves me more than him, so I know he’s always going to make sure that he has my back.” With Harry, Meghan explains, “you have someone who just has this childlike wonder and playfulness. I was so drawn to that, and he brought that out in me. That’s translated into every part of our life. Even in business, I want us to play and have fun and explore and be creative.”

Meghan on her work ethic: “I like the community of work and the connection,” Meghan says. “I think a lot of it is in my DNA.” It’s an attitude in contrast with the current trend of valorizing a soft life—that is, a life without work outside the home, with an emphasis on ease, which requires its own level of hidden labor. “You should do what works for you,” Meghan says diplomatically. For her, though, “when people start to see your work ethic and really understand how dedicated you are to things—how you are in one place, I believe, is how you are in other places. So for me, that’s how I show up when I do potlucks at my kids’ school, that’s how I show up when putting a party together for my friend who just had a baby, that’s how I show up in my business.”
On what she’s learned from her mistakes in her business: “If it all goes swimmingly, you don’t learn from it. If you don’t learn anything, you’re not going to grow.” She continues, “I’m a mom with kids at that age where they are constantly learning something new. I watch them face things that feel completely insurmountable every day. But you can remember and say, ‘I know it seems really hard right now, but trust me, that’s going to come so easily soon.’ I can give myself the same grace as a founder. There’s no such thing as perfect. I, too, get to make mistakes.”

“I don’t like things that feel overly realized,” Meghan says. “If you overwork the dough, it’s not going to rise. And sometimes I think the stress that people put on moments … they are so consumed in them that you lose the fun of why you are doing something.”
“There’s also not a lot of fun in trying to be perfect,” Meghan says. “So why try to do that if you want to have fun?”

On if she ever feels the need to compartmentalize the parts of her life, work and family: “My office is right by the kitchen, and I love that I can work from home,” she says. “It’s a great luxury.” Her daughter, Lilibet, “comes and sits on my lap when I’m in the middle of the meeting, whether it’s about P and L for my brand or it’s about something creative.”

On what she hopes her kids see when they see her working: “I hope they see the value of being brave. They saw it when the jam was just a pot on the stove, bubbling. When you’re young,” she adds, ”I think you are a little bit more fearless. As we get older, we lose some of that.”

On meeting Meghan over a decade ago at a Super Bowl party: “We both definitely have a dry sense of humor. I think that’s why we hit it off for no reason at this silly football thing. We were just like, ‘Why are we here? To meet you?’ Apparently, and we’ve been lifelong friends ever since.”

“We love a good mimosa,” Williams says. “We could talk for a hundred hours, and it feels like 10 minutes go by, and it’s like we never stop smiling.”.

On staying authentic to herself: In the week since we last met, Meghan caused a sensation when she made a surprise appearance at the Balenciaga show during Paris Fashion Week, the first with Pierpaolo Piccioli at the helm. The two have known each other for years. “I was excited for him,” she says. “I reached out and I said, ‘Happy to come and support you.’ We kept it a secret, and it was really fun.”

There’s that word again. “I love being able to do both,” Meghan says, “to play in the sandbox with my kids and to play in the front row at a show. I think the moment that you start making all of your personal decisions based on external judgment, then you lose your authenticity.” I point out that when women in the public eye are multidimensional, they tend to get a lot of flak. “Why do you think that is?” Meghan asks me. Here, I launch into a tangent about our culture’s deep and historical distrust of women’s voices in public. “You know what I mean?” I finally say. Meghan deadpans again, “Well. Yeah.”

On boundaries: “I think my boundaries became stronger once I came into the public eye in this very …” she pauses and makes a face, similar to the one she made when talking about making mistakes, and laughs. “I could think of any adjective to fill the blank. And it would probably work. You find different ways to protect yourself, whether that’s self-preservation or it’s just growing up.”

On Harry having her back: “He loves me so boldly, fully, and he also has a different perspective because he sees media that I wouldn’t,” she says. “No one in the world loves me more than him, so I know he’s always going to make sure that he has my back.” With Harry, Meghan explains, “you have someone who just has this childlike wonder and playfulness. I was so drawn to that, and he brought that out in me. That’s translated into every part of our life. Even in business, I want us to play and have fun and explore and be creative.”

On how Meghan’s parenting style is “very different” from her mother’s; she has made it a study, using books and apps, a diligence that has made her an authority within her friend circle: “She’s just so smart, and I feel like no matter what, I can always learn from her,” says Williams. The last time the two hung out, Meghan “was talking about this amazing woman who is really helpful and how to talk to kids. I’m implementing so much that she’s teaching me.”

#RHOA: Porsha Williams Cleared in FBI Investigation Following Plane Incident
Porsha Williams has been cleared of any wrongdoing in the recent plane incident.
While on a flight home to Atlanta from BravoCon 2025 last week, the 44-year-old Real Housewives of Atlanta star was involved in an altercation with a fellow passenger. She was accused of getting physical after their verbal disagreement escalated.

The FBI did an investigation into the situation and they have now cleared Porsha of the allegations.
“We just received word from the United States Attorney’s Office that they have determined that ‘no crime has been committed,’ and that the FBI ‘will not pursue any further investigative actions regarding this matter,’” Porsha‘s rep told Page Six on Friday, November 21.

“While Ms Williams is certainly pleased to have received this news today, we cannot say that we are surprised given that there was never a physical encounter and given that the allegations made against Ms. Williams by this unhinged passenger were blatantly false from the beginning,” the statement continued.
“Ms. Williams offers her sincere thanks to the many witnesses who took time from their schedules to come forward and provide statements to law enforcement and to the Agents who worked so hard to uncover the truth,” her rep concluded.

#HipHopNews: Donald Glover Reveals He Suffered Stroke
Donald Glover shared during a recent Childish Gambino set that he had a stroke last year while on tour, halting the run.
Donald Glover, also known as the performer Childish Gambino, rocked Tyler, The Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw festival this past weekend and delivered a bombshell. While opening his set, Donald Glover revealed that the reason he had to halt his global tour run in 2024 was because he suffered a stroke and was diagnosed with a septal defect.

As captured by the @DatDatDatty account on X, Donald Glover, 42, delivered the news to the fans packed in to check out his set at Camp Flog Gnaw in the style of a night show monologue, to use his term. As a one-time stand-up comedian and comedy writer, Glover’s cheeky and deadpan delivery didn’t mask the weight of the moment.

“I had a really bad pain in my head in Louisiana, and I did the show anyway,” Glover said of the incident while on his New World tour. “I couldn’t really see well, so when we went to Houston, I went to the hospital, and the doctor was like, ‘You had a stroke.’ And the first thing I thought was like, ‘Oh, here I am still copying Jamie Foxx.'”

He continued, “That’s really like the second thing. The first thing was like, ‘I’m letting everybody down.'”
Glover added that doctors found the septal defect, also widely known as a hole in his heart, and he underwent a pair of surgeries to address the defect. He then landed his point before launching into the rest of his set.
“They say everyone has two lives, and the second life starts when you realize you have one,” Glover said, thanking fans for their support and patience during the time away.

#BoxOfficeNews: ‘Wicked: For Good’ recaptures box office magic with $150 million opening weekend

There was no place like the movie theater for fans of “Wicked” this weekend.
Universal’s “Wicked: For Good” soared to No. 1 at the weekend box office, earning $150 million domestically and $226 million worldwide — far outpacing its predecessor, “Wicked,” which opened to $114 million domestically during last year’s pre-Thanksgiving weekend.
“It’s never a guarantee that a second installment will outperform an original, especially on the opening weekend,” said Paul Dergarabedian, head of marketplace trends at Comscore. “The first film, and now this movie … created a cultural phenomenon. This was not an overnight success.”

The musical fantasy film, which is a retelling inspired by the 1900 children’s novel “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz,” became the second-highest domestic opener of the year, behind Warner Bros. Pictures’ live-action “A Minecraft Movie” ($162.75 million) and ahead of Disney’s “Lilo & Stitch” ($146 million). Warner Bros. Discovery is the parent company of CNN.
“Wicked: For Good” also broke a record for a fantasy-adventure sequel opening, according to David A. Gross, who publishes industry newsletter FranchiseRe. Such movies average an opening of $46 million, according to Gross.

“The fact that ‘Wicked’ is up there in the conversation is a triumph … it’s not very long ago when a lot of musicals were not performing well at the box office,” said Shawn Robbins, director of analytics at Fandango and founder of analytics firm Box Office Theory.
Also opening this weekend was Searchlight Pictures’ “Rental Family” ($3.3 million), which was No. 5 overall, and Sony Pictures’ “Sisu: Road to Revenge” ($2.6 million), which was No. 6. The two films failed to share the same success of “Gladiator II,” which had a domestic opening weekend box office of $55.5 million when it opened alongside “Wicked.”

Last weekend’s competitors, Lionsgate Films’ “Now You See Me: Now You Don’t” ($9.1 million), Disney’s “Predator: Badlands” ($6.25 million) and Paramount Pictures’ “The Running Man” ($5.8 million) finished No. 2, No. 3 and No. 4, respectively.
It’s a good sign for Hollywood, which is coming off a historically slow October. The overall box office is now 3.3% ahead of last year’s earnings from January 1 to November 23, according to Comscore data. The domestic box office has grossed roughly $7.5 billion this year, according to Comscore.

Dergarabedian noted that the box office could hit or exceed the $9 billion mark when the year ends. That milestone was previously reached in 2023, the first post-pandemic year to do so.

More of a boost can come on Thanksgiving weekend with Disney’s “Zootopia 2,” which hopes to see similar success from last year’s “Moana 2,” an animated film that grossed over $460 million at the domestic box office.
“Zootopia 2” and “Wicked: For Good” could complement one another at movie theaters, says Daniel Loria, editorial director at Box Office Pro.
“This is really a one-two punch in terms of earning potential for the whole opening weekend picture,” Loria said.

Disney is also expected to dominate the pre-Christmas weekend with “Avatar: Fire and Ash.”
And there is a broad set of movies opening before and during Christmas that could earn as much as $30 million, says Loria. The slate includes Paramount Pictures’ “The SpongeBob Movie: The Search for SquarePants,” Sony’s “Anaconda,” Lionsgate’s “The Housemaid” and Angel Studios’ “David.”

Former Black Panther H. Rap Brown aka Imam Jamil Al-Amin, Civil Rights Icon, Dead at 82
Imam Jamil Al-Amin, formerly known as H. Rap Brown, has died at the age of 82, his son confirmed in an emotional video posted to Facebook.
In the video, Al-Amin’s son, Kairi Al-Amin, asked for privacy as the family grieves and shared a heartfelt prayer for his father. In the caption, Kairi wrote another prayer for his father and asked Allah to welcome him with open arms.

“From Allah we come, surely to Allah is our return. I lost my father today. Ya Allah please accept my father Imam Jamil Al-Amin as a shaheed, a martyr, a dedicated servant to You,” Kairi captioned the video. “Ya Allah please make his grave spacious and reserve for him the most beautiful spot in Your paradise, please grant him peace, Ameen. It’s no longer free my father, my father is free.”

The announcement set off an outpouring of grief and remembrance for the former civil rights leader, who spent more than two decades behind bars for a crime his supporters say he did not commit. Muslim scholar Imam Omar Suleiman also honored Al-Amin on Instagram, sharing a photo and reflecting on the long fight to free him.

“For years we fought to free him. Today he is free,” Suleiman wrote. “From prison to paradise God willing. He never lost his dignity, his voice never shook. His innocence was proven, but the system didn’t care. We cared. We loved. And InshaAllah, we will continue to move forward with his legacy.”

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) confirmed the news as well, extending condolences to the family and reiterating that Al-Amin died after 23 years in prison for a crime the group maintains he did not commit. CAIR urged the Fulton County District Attorney’s Conviction Integrity Unit to complete its review of the case and formally exonerate him.

CAIR also condemned the Bureau of Prisons for failing to properly treat Al-Amin’s cancer, saying they had warned officials repeatedly that his health was deteriorating. Al-Amin was convicted in 2002 for the fatal shooting of a Fulton County sheriff’s deputy and the wounding of another, a conviction civil rights advocates have long argued was marred by procedural problems, unreliable evidence, and a credible confession from another man, federal inmate Otis Jackson, who has repeatedly sworn under oath that he was the shooter.

Despite those developments, the DA’s office never vacated the conviction. Before his incarceration, Al-Amin was a major figure in the Civil Rights Movement. As H. Rap Brown, he was a leader in the Student Non-Violent Coordinating Committee (SNCC) and later became a respected imam after converting to Islam.

In Atlanta’s West End, he was known for transforming the neighborhood, guiding many people to Islam, and pushing drugs and crime out of the community. After his conviction, Al-Amin was moved from Georgia state custody to federal custody, a transfer his supporters believe was meant to limit his influence inside the prison system, where many inmates were embracing Islam through his mentorship.

CAIR National Executive Director Nihad Awad called him both “a hero of the civil rights movement” and “a victim of injustice,” adding: “We pray that God rewards him with paradise for his good deeds and the injustices he suffered. We call on the justice system to reopen Imam Jamil’s case and clear his name.”

As tributes pour in, many of Al-Amin’s supporters say the fight is not over. Though he has passed, they insist the push to clear his name is far from over.

Lenny Kravitz Says Fan Yanked Out 4 Dreads Mid-Show: ‘That Was Wild’

Lenny Kravitz’s Blue Electric Light tour took an unexpected turn in Brisbane when one enthusiastic fan yanked several dreadlocks straight from the rocker’s head.
The 61-year-old took to his Instagram Stories after his Friday, November 21 show to recap what happened mid-performance of “Let Love Rule.”

“Brisbane, that was wild. That was wild,” Kravitz said to the camera. “So when I went out for ‘Let Love Rule,’ a very excited young lady pulled four dreadlocks out of the back of my head. You know how hard you got to pull to rip those out of my head? Damn, baby.”
Despite the shock — and the pain — Kravitz assured fans he isn’t about to hide behind security barricades anytime soon. “Anyway, I’m not gonna stop coming out there for ‘Let Love Rule,’ because that’s what we do. That’s our moment together,” he said, adding, “Brisbane, you’re wild. I love you.”

The incident capped off a packed month of shows across Australia and New Zealand as Kravitz continues promoting his album, Blue Electric Light, released in 2024. And for longtime fans, his hands-on performance is part of what makes his shows electric.

One song that continues to energize crowds decades later is his 1993 hit “Are You Gonna Go My Way,” famous for its explosive guitar riff.
Kravitz’s longtime guitarist Craig Ross recently shared the surprising origin of that iconic solo on Chris Shiflett’s Shred with Shifty podcast. The song wasn’t the product of a long writing session — but a spontaneous jam that took shape in less than 30 minutes. Ross explained that he and Kravitz were wrapping sessions for both Kravitz’s record and one for Vanessa Paradis when inspiration struck.

While jamming — Kravitz on drums, Ross on guitar, and Tony Breit on bass — Ross “just started playing that riff.” Kravitz immediately reacted: “‘Whoa, what’s that?’” Ross shared, “I said, ‘I don’t know. I just started feeling that.’ And he felt it too.” Within minutes, they were shaping one of the most iconic rock tracks to this day.
Kravitz will wrap up his run with stops in Melbourne, Mildura, and Adelaide before taking a brief break and restarting the tour on March 14, 2026, in Mexico City.

Lupita Nyong’o Says She Was Offered More Slave Roles After Oscar Win for ‘12 Years a Slave’
Lupita Nyong'o is opening up about the aftermath of her Oscar win, and the story she's telling is one many fans and industry watchers say confirms what Black women in Hollywood have been saying for years.
In a recent CNN Inside Africa interview with musician Angélique Kidjo, the 12 Years a Slave star revealed that instead of being offered a wide variety of opportunities following her Academy Award win in 2014, she was repeatedly sent scripts asking her to portray enslaved or suffering Black women. Nyong'o said the pattern wasn't random, either.

"After I won that Academy Award, you'd think, 'I'm gonna get lead roles here and there,'" she said. "[They're like], 'Oh, Lupita, we'd like you to play another movie where you're a slave, but this time you're on a slave ship.' Those are the kind of offers I was getting in the months after winning my Academy Award."

Nyong'o added that alongside the repetitive casting offers, she became the subject of think pieces speculating whether her career would stall, commentary she believes was shaped by both racism and colorism.

"There were think pieces of 'Is this the beginning and end of this dark-skinned Black African woman's career?' I had to deafen myself to all these pontificators because, at the end of the day, I'm not a theory. I'm an actual person.

"Oh, Lupita, we'd like you to play another movie where you're a slave, but this time, you're on a slave ship."
The actress said she refused to accept roles that reduced African women to pain and suffering, even if it meant turning down work: "If that means I work one job less a year to ensure that I'm not perpetuating the stereotypes that are expected of people from my continent, then let me do that."

She emphasized that she wants her body of work to help shift global perceptions of Africa and African women, saying she hopes to be a "joyful warrior" pushing for change.
Nyong'o noted that the offers made her feel boxed in despite her historic win, and fans online echoed her frustration. Many praised her calm but firm delivery and commended her for publicly naming an industry pattern that often goes unacknowledged.

One user wrote, "Hearing this from someone as accomplished as Lupita really shows how deep the industry biases still run. Takes a lot of strength to turn down "easy" roles and choose the ones that actually move the culture forward. Massive respect for how she protects her craft and her identity."
Another tweeted, "I'm very proud of Lupita for standing up for Africans and maintaining her dignity in a racist industry. She's also spoken about refusing sexual advances by Hollywood power brokers to further her career. This should prove you can still make it without selling yourself out."

Nyong'o's interview reignited conversations about the limited roles available to Black women in Hollywood, even after critical acclaim, and the urgent need for more diverse, fully realized stories that reflect the complexity and joy of African identities.

NYC mayor-elect Mandani stands firm after controversial Trump talk

New York City Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani made waves during his first meeting with President Donald Trump at the White House, and his subsequent appearance on Meet the Press revealed he has no intention of softening his political stance despite the cordial encounter. The incoming mayor maintained his previous characterization of Trump while emphasizing his commitment to delivering results for New Yorkers.

During his appearance with moderator Kristen Welker, Mamdani described his White House visit as productive, explaining that the conversation centered on the affordability crisis affecting the city’s 8.5 million residents. The mayor-elect emphasized that discussions repeatedly returned to core issues including housing costs, childcare expenses, grocery prices and utility bills.
The meeting took place in both the Oval Office and the Cabinet Room, where Mamdani and Trump discussed portraits of former presidents, including Franklin D. Roosevelt. Mamdani drew parallels between his vision for New York and the relationship between legendary Mayor Fiorello LaGuardia and FDR, highlighting the importance of federal-city partnerships in addressing major crises.

Refusing to walk back controversial statements

When pressed about his past characterization of Trump, Mamdani confirmed he stands by his previous statements calling the president a fascist and despot. Rather than creating awkwardness, this moment became a defining feature of their interaction. Trump himself acknowledged the characterization during a press conference, seemingly unbothered by the label.
Mamdani explained that he appreciated the ability to be frank about political disagreements while still focusing on shared goals. His approach reflects a pragmatic philosophy centered on delivering results for New Yorkers rather than making symbolic political gestures.

Addressing public safety with existing resources

The mayor-elect outlined his vision for the New York Police Department, explaining his decision to retain Commissioner Jessica Tisch despite their differing views on department size. While Tisch advocates for adding thousands more officers to the streets, Mamdani believes the current budget allocation of 35,000 officers provides sufficient resources.

His strategy involves creating a new Department of Community Safety to handle mental health and homelessness crises, currently consuming significant police resources. Response times have increased from under 11 minutes in 2020 to approximately 16 minutes today, largely due to officers managing 200,000 mental health calls annually. By redirecting these responsibilities, Mamdani aims to allow officers to concentrate on serious crimes.

Ambitious tax plan requires state cooperation

Central to Mamdani’s agenda is raising $9 billion through new taxes on wealthy residents and businesses. His proposal includes increasing personal income taxes by 2 percent for New Yorkers earning over $1 million annually and raising the corporate tax rate to match neighboring New Jersey.

Governor Kathy Hochul’s support remains crucial for implementing these changes, as she must sign off on any tax increases. Following recent conversations with the governor, Mamdani expressed confidence in their ability to work together on affordability initiatives. He noted Hochul’s longstanding focus on universal childcare as a positive indicator of potential collaboration.

The mayor-elect emphasized flexibility regarding revenue sources, stating that his primary concern involves funding programs rather than adhering to specific tax mechanisms. Universal childcare stands as a top priority, with costs reaching $22,500 annually per child in New York City.

Learning from conversations with voters

Mamdani shared insights from canvassing neighborhoods that shifted significantly toward Trump in recent elections, including Fordham Road in the Bronx and Hillside Avenue in Queens. Residents repeatedly cited cost of living as their primary concern when explaining their voting choices.

These conversations informed his discussion with Trump about systemic barriers preventing affordability improvements. Topics included zoning regulations and the Uniform Land Use Review Procedure, a process developers identify as more expensive than labor or materials due to lengthy waiting periods.

Drawing wisdom from Obama

Former President Barack Obama contacted Mamdani after his victory, offering guidance on effective leadership. Their conversations emphasized the importance of not just inspiring hope but sustaining and delivering on it through strategic personnel decisions and efficient transition planning.

Rather than treating the transition period as ceremonial, Mamdani’s team moved quickly to announce key positions including co-chairs, executive director, first deputy mayor and chief of staff. This accelerated timeline aims to enable immediate action when he officially takes office on January 1.

The mayor-elect’s approach combines unapologetic progressive politics with practical governance focused on measurable outcomes. His ability to maintain firm political positions while pursuing productive working relationships across the ideological spectrum will define his tenure leading America’s largest city.

Kevin Spacey Clarifies Reports About Being Homeless & Living Out of Hotels
Kevin Spacey is clearing up some headlines. The 66-year-old American Beauty actor addressed recent reports claiming he said he’s homeless and living out of hotels in a new video posted to his Instagram on Sunday (November 23).
“Hi everyone, I don’t usually make it my business to correct the media. If I did, I wouldn’t have time for much else. But in light of the recent articles claiming I am homeless, I feel the need to respond,” he said.

“Not to the press, but to the thousands of people who have reached out over the past few days offering me a place to stay, or have just asked if I’m okay. And to all of you, let me first say that I am truly touched by your generosity, full stop. But I feel it would be disingenuous of me to allow you to believe that I am indeed homeless in the colloquial sense,” he continued.
“In my conversation with Mick Brown, the wonderful journalist who wrote the story that was in The Telegraph, where this rumor first began, I said I was basically living in hotels and Airbnbs and going where the work is, just as I did when I first started out in this business. I’ve been working nearly non-stop this entire year, and for that I have so much to be grateful for. And there are many people, as we all know, who are indeed actually living on the streets, or in their cars, or in terrible financial situations, and my heart goes out to them,” Kevin said.

“But it is clear from the article itself that I am not one of them, nor was I attempting to say that I was. Which is why it was a shame that The Telegraph chose to undermine the work of their own journalist by selling him out with a knowingly misleading headline for the sake of clicks. But I will now let you go back to your lives,” he concluded.

“Thank you for just paying attention for a few minutes, and for indulging me, and for all the kindness that you’ve shown me. Thank you. See you soon,” he added.

German actor and Hollywood veteran Udo Kier dies at 81

German actor and Hollywood veteran Udo Kier has died at the age of 81 in Palm Springs, his management confirmed to dpa on Monday.
Kier appeared in more than 250 film and television productions, including "Flesh for Frankenstein" (1973), "Ace Ventura: Pet Detective" (1994) and "Armageddon" (1998).

He often played the villain, not least because of his intense gaze and unusually green eyes.

Kier was one of few German actors whose Hollywood career spanned decades, having lived in the United States since 1991.

Pharrell and Louis Vuitton Debut $82K Timberland Boots
Pharrell Williams and Louis Vuitton partnered with world famous boot maker Timberland to debut luxury boots featuring 18 Karat gold hardware with an $82,000 price tag.
The opulent footwear comes stored in a custom LV monogram trunk and will be limited to just 50 numbered pairs.
LV’s signature monogram is stamped on rich Italian leather. The boots feature 18K gold leaf Louis Vuitton initials on the tongue, eyelets, lace tips, and tag hardware.

Every high-value man will want these boots under their Christmas tree. You can’t buy these boots at retail. You will need to contact a private seller or Pharrell himself at Louis Vuitton headquarters.
Each panel is wrapped in rich Italian leather, stamped with LV florals that feel more runway than jobsite. Even the Timberland tree logo gets a gold makeover on the heel, while classic red-and-yellow rope laces add a tiny nod to the original DNA. The gum outsole stays untouched, which weirdly grounds the whole thing.

Only 50 pairs exist, and every pair comes stored inside a custom Louis Vuitton trunk—very on-brand for Pharrell’s approach since taking over LV’s men’s division. This project also connects back to last year’s Timberland x LV anniversary pieces, showing Pharrell isn’t done exploring that lane.

Anyone trying to secure a pair won’t find them at retail. You’ll need a private seller, a collector channel, or serious connections. Which honestly matches the boot’s vibe.

Chicago mom Carshawnda Hatter who was attacked by a group of students moves to new home

Carshawnda Hatter the Chicago mom who was attacked by a group of elementary school students, has moved with her family to a new home in a safe, undisclosed location.
Her children will be enrolled in a private school and receive therapy.
Many media outlets incorrectly reported that Carshawnda was pregnant.

Carshawnda’s story caused an uproar after she was attacked near her home on Monday by Orville Bright Elementary School students when she asked them to stop bullying her son.
A GoFundMe raised over $16,000 for the mother of 2.
On her GoFundMe page, Carshawnda said she was walking home with her 9-year-old son and 6-year-old daughter when they were attacked.
“I tried asking the students why are y’all keep bullying him what is wrong next thing i know they started attacking my son then as i was trying to help my son they all jumped me everything happened so fast. Around 3 p.m., in the 10600 block of South Bensley Avenue, a group of children and teens came up to us. Before I could even react, they started attacking us – hitting me and my son over and over. I tried to shield him, but there were too many of them, and all I could think about was getting him out of there safely.”

Carshawnda, who has sickle cell disease, is pressing charges against the parents of the kids who attacked her, for not controlling their children.
She’s also considering legal action against the school district for ignoring her many complaints about the bullying for 2 years.

Klay Thompson Shades Ja Morant Following Memphis Loss: 'No Accountability'
The Dallas Mavericks were chasing a late comeback when Klay Thompson pulled up from the logo with seconds remaining.
The long-range attempt bounced out, and Memphis quickly capitalized, stretching the lead and closing out a 102–96 win.
The loss added to Dallas’ rough start, but the final score wasn’t the only thing people were talking about afterward.

Ja Morant, who has been unavailable due to a calf injury, found his way into the spotlight from the sideline. As players made their way off the court, Morant stood up and exchanged words with Thompson. A courtside video captured the moment, and social media dissected it immediately.

Fans believed Morant directed an insult toward Thompson, and the clip circulated before the post-game interviews had even begun.
Morant didn’t quiet things down, either. While guard Cam Spencer was speaking to reporters, Morant stepped into the frame and said, “Tell ’em who the best shooter in the house was. It wasn’t bro from Golden State.”

The comment added fuel to the confrontation and came at a time when Thompson’s overall shooting numbers have been under more scrutiny than usual, per Yahoo Sports.
Thompson, however, delivered one of his better performances of the season in the Memphis matchup. He dropped 22 points and hit six threes, showing flashes of the rhythm that defined his earlier career. Still, the veteran is navigating a difficult start statistically, and Morant clearly saw an opening to take a shot.

Asked to clarify what Morant said, Thompson didn’t bother recounting the specifics. Instead, he focused on Morant’s behavior.
Klay Thompson goes in on Ja Morant in the post game presser
“He's a funny guy with no accountability, Just running his mouth. He’s been running his mouth a long time. It’s funny you run your mouth when you’re on the bench. It’s kinda been the whole story of his career so far.”

“He’s a funny guy with no accountability,” Thompson said during his session with reporters. “Just running his mouth. He’s been running his mouth for a long time, and it’s funny to run your mouth when you’re on the bench. That’s kind of been the story of his career so far—just leaving us wanting more.”

Thompson also spoke about the broader picture, noting that Morant’s talent is undeniable but often overshadowed.
“We all want to see him out there doing what he does best,” he said. “But he’s been letting a lot of other stuff get in the way. When you’re a star, there’s a responsibility that comes with it.”

Met Gala 2026 Confirms “Costume Art” and Celebs Already Scrambling

The Met Gala 2026 is already taking over the fashion world after organizers confirmed that next year’s theme will be “Costume Art.” Andrew Bolton and Anna Wintour made the announcement during a November press briefing, revealing a concept that blends fashion, art history, and human anatomy.

The theme also marks the opening of the new Condé M. Nast Galleries, a permanent 12,000-square-foot expansion inside the museum. The space will debut with an exhibition pairing garments with paintings, sculptures, and photography to highlight how clothing and the body have interacted through different eras.

Bolton shared that the exhibition will be divided into three sections. One will explore bodies commonly shown in art. Another will highlight bodies that have been historically overlooked. The final section will examine the anatomical body.

He also revealed that mirrored mannequins and cast figures will be used to encourage visitors to “reflect on the lived experience” represented in the displays, a major step toward blending fine art curation with immersive fashion presentation.

Celebrities Expected to Attend
The gala returns Monday, May 4, following its tradition of celebrating the first Monday in May. Vogue will stream the carpet at 4:30 PM EST, with full coverage beginning at 6 PM.

Saint Laurent has been named the lead fashion sponsor. As a result, all eyes are on Zoë Kravitz, Hailey Bieber, Austin Butler, and Rosé of BLACKPINK, who are expected to attend and may serve as co-chairs.
Meanwhile, Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez are the only officially confirmed guests so far due to their ongoing support of the Costume Institute.

Early Dress Code Predictions
Although the official dress code has not yet been released, early clues point toward a celebration of the body as art; possibly inspired by Charles James, Renata Buzzo, and historical works by artists like Albrecht Dürer.

Megan Thee Stallion Fires Back as Milagro Gramz Tries to Expose Her in Court
The Megan Thee Stallion Miami court testimony is gaining attention as she pushes back against Milagro Gramz’s aggressive legal tactics.
Megan Thee Stallion filed the lawsuit accusing Gramz of spreading false information about the Tory Lanez case and creating targeted harassment campaigns online. According to Megan, the claims were made maliciously and amplified by Lanez’s supporters.

A report from Local 10 says Gramz’s legal team engaged in a tense and persistent cross-examination as they attempted to chip away at Megan’s credibility. The Houston rapper stayed calm but firm while answering questions about past statements and online narratives.
The defense focused heavily on whether Megan had ever been untruthful, even in situations unrelated to the Lanez shooting, hoping to use those moments to discredit her overall reliability.

During questioning, Megan acknowledged she wasn’t fully transparent in certain past personal matters but emphasized that she told the full truth during all criminal proceedings involving Tory Lanez.
Her response allowed Gramz’s team to suggest she misled the public. However, the courtroom report did not detail the exact exchanges that led the defense to that conclusion.

As the trial nears its conclusion, both sides appear locked into credibility battles. Legal experts say these moments could influence how the judge interprets intent, defamation, and the lingering impact of the Tory Lanez trial fallout.

DOGE Government Agency Shutdown Quietly Happened Months Early

The DOGE government agency shutdown has triggered new questions across D.C., after reports confirmed that the Department of Government Efficiency was dissolved months earlier than expected. According to new reports from federal insiders, DOGE no longer exists as an active agency despite its charter running until July 2026.

The Department of Government Efficiency, known as DOGE, was launched under Donald Trump to overhaul spending, streamline operations, and slash programs labeled as wasteful. Officials now say that the DOGE government agency shutdown happened quietly and far ahead of schedule, leaving many surprised the agency ended without any public announcement.

Sources say DOGE’s remaining duties have already been folded into existing departments, mainly the Office of Personnel Management. Despite having eight months left on its charter, the agency’s work was described as “essentially finished” earlier this year.

DOGE drew national attention for its aggressive cost-cutting style and its connection to Elon Musk, whose influence shaped several restructuring decisions. Supporters praised the agency for eliminating what they called unnecessary spending. Critics argue its methods caused long-term damage, citing deep staffing cuts and disrupted federal programs.

The early shutdown now raises questions about what DOGE actually achieved and how its push for reductions impacted workers and essential services.
