#RHOA: Cynthia Bailey Explains Why She Didn’t Marry Leon Robinson Despite Being ‘The Same People’
Real Housewives of Atlanta fans have watched Cynthia Bailey tie the knot twice on camera, only for both marriages to end in divorce. Before that, she was in a long-term relationship with Leon Robinson, with whom she shares her daughter, Noelle Robinson. However, they were never married, and she just explained the very valid reason for that.

Cynthia Bailey was busy chasing her dreams while in a relationship with Leon Robinson
Cynthia recently appeared as a guest on TS Madison’s Outlaws podcast. Maddie is just like us — she’s been watching Cynthia’s ups and downs in love for years. Throughout that, she’s seen the positive relationship Cynthia and Leon have maintained, and she wanted to know why they never married. Cynthia said no one had ever asked her that question, but she didn’t hesitate to answer.

Cynthia explained, “OK, so, I did not marry Leon because I felt like, at the time, he’s an artist, I’m an artist, he’s a creative, I’m a creative, he’s a Pisces, I’m a Pisces. We are literally the same people in so many ways.”

According to Cynthia, those similarities are what pulled them apart. Leon’s acting career and her life as a model felt so closely related that it caused a disconnect. They were both too busy chasing their own dreams.
She said, “It’s tricky when you’ve got two artists, and everybody’s going for the same thing.”

Ironically, Cynthia has wound up with another artist, an Amsterdam-based DJ named LePrince. However, when looking back on her relationship with Leon, she realized that they couldn’t both pursue their careers while also being good partners.

“I mean, I’ve seen it be done, but I felt like I wouldn’t be able to fully just nurture his talent and the things that he needed from a partner, because I was still figuring out what I was doing… I needed a partner that maybe was not so much doing the things that I was doing,” Cynthia explained.
Ultimately, it doesn’t sound like Cynthia holds any regrets about how she navigated things with Leon. She said they had a “beautiful love story,” but she just didn’t feel like she was “his person.”

Cynthia added, “I think we were put together to have Noelle. Noelle is his one and only. Noelle is my one and only.”

#MusicNews: Koffee Brown “A Place Called Love”

Koffee Brown has released a new single titled “Place Called Love”. The new single is a mid-tempo R&B track described as capturing the thrill of a summer night’s romance, even in the fall. The song is designed to be “feel-good” music, focusing on themes of talking, laughing, and getting closer to someone special.

The song sees them teaming up again with their original producer, KayGee from Naughty by Nature (who discovered them). It was written by the sister songwriting team Anesha & Antea Birchett, who have credits with artists like Beyoncé and Justin Bieber.
The duo now consists of original member Vernell “Vee” Sales and new male vocalist Ryan Lane, who replaced original member Fonz.

This is their third single since reuniting, following the 2024 releases of “About It” (feat. Vin Rock) and “Simple Things.” These tracks are building toward a new EP expected later in 2025.

#HipHopNews: 50 Cent’s Diddy Documentary Premieres on Netflix Next Week
50 Cent's long-teased Diddy documentary is debuting on Netflix next week.
On Tuesday (Nov. 25), the popular streaming service announced the 50 Cent executive-produced documentary series, titled Sean Combs: The Reckoning, will premiere on Dec. 2. The series is directed by Emmy Award-winning director Alexandria Stapleton and will include four 60-minute episodes. Other executive producers include Stacy Scripter, David Karabinas, Ariel Brozell and Brad Bernstein.

Through "explosive, never-before-seen materials, including exclusive interviews with those formerly in his orbit," the doc will explore Puff's rise and fall.
“I’ve been committed to real storytelling for years through G-Unit Film & Television," 50 Cent said in a statement. "I’m grateful to everyone who came forward and trusted us with their stories, and proud to have Alexandria Stapleton as the director on the project to bring this important story to the screen.”

Alexandria Stapleton says the doc is bigger than Diddy.
“This isn't just about the story of Sean Combs or the story of Cassie, or the story of any of the victims, or the allegations against him, or the trial," Stapleton said. "Ultimately, this story is a mirror [reflecting us] as the public, and what we are saying when we put our celebrities on such a high pedestal. I hope [this documentary] is a wake up call for how we idolize people, and to understand that everybody is a human being.”

50 Cent has been teasing the documentary since December of 2023. All the proceeds from the project will reportedly go to benefit victims of sexual assault.

Rev. Jesse Jackson Released From Hospital After ICU Treatment

Rev. Jesse Jackson has been released from a Chicago hospital where he was treated for a rare neurological disorder, according to his son.
The 84-year-old civil rights activist had been receiving medical care for progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP). He had been hospitalized at Northwestern Memorial Hospital for at least 12 days before being released.

The longtime activist is now in stable condition after receiving treatment.
“Our family would like to thank the countless friends and supporters who have reached out, visited, and prayed for our father,” Yusef Jackson said in a statement on behalf of the family. “We bear witness to the fact that prayer works… We humbly ask for your continued prayers throughout this precious time.”

Jackson was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2013. In April 2025, the diagnosis was reclassified as PSP, for which there is currently no cure.
Jackson announced his Parkinson’s diagnosis in 2017.
“After a battery of tests, my physicians identified the issue as Parkinson’s disease, a disease that bested my father,” he said at the time. “Recognition of the effects of this disease on me has been painful, and I have been slow to grasp the gravity of it.”

The longtime political activist, who worked alongside Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., has faced several health challenges in recent years, including gallbladder surgery and hospitalization due to COVID-19.

Anderson is also set to star in, and executive produce the limited series adaptation of “The Redemption of Al Sharpton,” based on the Esquire profile by Pulitzer Prize winner Mitchell S. Jackson. The project, currently in early development at ABC Signature, is being produced through Anderson’s Just a Kid from Compton Productions.

Prince Reportedly Only Ate Pancakes At A Certain LA Hotel
Prince allegedly would only eat pancakes while he stayed at a Los Angeles hotel in the early 2000s.
In a Vanity Fair oral history, Jason Pomeranc, cofounder of Thompson Hotels Group, claimed that Prince would make himself at home.
“Prince would come in and just start playing a random solo show at Teddy’s,” Pomeranc said. “Until four or five in the morning.”

Pomeranc said that Prince did so “just because he felt like it.”
“And these things were regular occurrences,” added Pomeranc. “If you weren’t at the Prince pop-up show or you weren’t [there] when Courtney Love showed up, it was gone.”
Pomeranc also said that  Prince would stay in the penthouse. The staff “had to redecorate to his specifications of white shag rugs and purple.”

He noted that Prince “would only eat pancakes for days” while he stayed here.
Pankiw said that Prince was constantly turned down as a performer.
“He had really outsized requests,” she told PEOPLE at the time. “And Lilith was very equitable. Everyone had the same-sized dressing room, and no one had this crazy rider.”

Pankiw noted that everyone at Lilith Fair “got the same amount of stage time and things were very collaborative and equal.”
“His demands didn’t match that,” she said.
When Prince had the opportunity to duet with Crow on “Every Day Is a Winding Road,” he relinquished his demands.
“He was like, ‘Fine, I won’t need any of that. I just want to come play, Lilith. I think that was surprising, just how mainstream and cool it was. And that people who actually worked in music understood its value and how cool the performers and the artists were there,” said Pankiw.

“Good Times” Reboot Gets Kicked To Curb After Modest Streaming Numbers

Good Times and reboot fatigue have finally collided, and the long anticipated cancellation of this animated revival has landed with the quiet thud most industry watchers saw coming from miles away. The show arrived with plenty of nostalgia and a starry voice cast that included J.B. Smoove, Marsai Martin, Yvette Nicole Brown, and Jay Pharoah, yet even that roster could not stop the inevitable conclusion. When you take a legendary sitcom, pipe it through Netflix and try to reshape it through a modern animated lens, the reactions tend to pull apart at the seams. Some viewers insisted the series was misunderstood while others were firm in their belief that it leaned too close to stereotypes that should have been retired years ago.

The numbers tell a story that is neither a triumph nor a disaster. The reboot clawed its way into the Top 10 for a few days in the United States and found pockets of attention overseas. From January to June 2024, the show collected 3.3 million views. That put it at number 680 among all streaming titles in that period. It added another 2.1 million views through the middle of 2025 and crept up to a total of 5.4 million. For an animated reboot with a name that carries emotional weight and cultural history, those stats felt more like a shrug than a celebration.

People close to the production insist the creative team had plans for more storylines, but the runway was never extended. The sentiment around town is that the reboot never fully connected with its intended audience. There were debates online about whether the reboot honored the original spirit of the classic sitcom or flattened it into something unrecognizable. When a show becomes a think piece more than a good time, much of the commercial spark fades before the second season can even be discussed.

At the end of the day, it seems the nostalgia economy had its limits. The original Good Times remains beloved because it captured a specific era of Black family life with humor, tension, and social commentary that felt alive. Recreating that magic in animated form is a tall order, and even a talented cast could not overcome the obstacle. So the reboot leaves the stage with modest numbers, mixed reactions and the quiet understanding that not every classic should be reinvented.

Judge Says She Is Close To Forcing Sale of Nicki Minaj’s $20 Million Los Angeles Mansion To Settle Debt Owed to Rapper’s Former Security Guard
A California judge says she is close to forcing the sale of Nicki Minaj's $20 million mansion—after the rapper allegedly refused to pay damages that were awarded to a former security guard who claims he was assaulted by her husband, Kenneth Petty.
In a hearing on Nov. 24, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Cindy Pánuco told lawyers for both parties that she is leaning toward a forced sale of the opulent home, but said that there is one final detail she wants to review before taking that action.

“My tentative is to grant this. I just want to make sure we’re getting it right," she said.
The one detail required, according to Rolling Stone, is a Bank of America statement that details Minaj's payments on her $13.3 million mortgage since October 2022, as well as the daily interest that is accrued on the debt.

Pánuco explained that she wants to review this document to ensure that a forced sale of the property will actually be able to cover the $503,000 that is owed to Minaj's former security guard, Thomas Weidenmuller, even if the property sells for well below its market value.
“Let’s say there’s no bidder who offers the full $20 million, and it goes up for auction, and they don’t get fair market value, and it doesn’t cover everything. If it doesn’t cover what the sale is required to cover—including the judgment, in this instance—then I would use that evidence to help me to determine that," she said.

Weidenmuller's lawyer, Paul Saso, attempted to argue back, insisting that the sale would likely reap millions more than needed to cover the payments and insisting that they could deal with any shortfall at a later date.
However, the judge refused to back down and noted that she will not make a decision until the bank statement is revealed.
“As I understand it, that’s the only piece missing. Everything else looked good,” she said.

The judge then set a follow-up hearing for Jan. 22 so she could look over the pending paperwork and make a decision.
The latest movement in the case comes weeks after it was first revealed that Weidenmuller had asked a court to force the sale of Minaj's Hidden Hills, CA, dwelling so that he can claim the money that is owed to him.

Weidenmuller, who worked as a security guard at one of Minaj's shows in Germany in 2019, accused Petty of punching him in the face at the event and was later awarded more than half a million dollars in damages by a judge.
However, he claims that money still has not been paid to him—an error that Minaj, 42, has since blamed on one of her financial advisers.

So, on Oct. 6, Weidenmuller filed legal documents asking the court to order Minaj to sell her 11-bedroom, 16-bathroom dwelling in Hidden Hills, which she purchased for $19.5 million in December 2022.
In his filing, the security guard noted that the home's $20 million value would cover Minaj and Petty's outstanding mortgage, as well as the money that he is owed.

Weidenmuller's legal team stated that the star has a $13.3 million mortgage lien on the property and a “$722,151 homestead exemption—together just under $14 million.”
"The property’s current fair market value is appraised at $20 million, yielding approximately $6 million in equity beyond the lien and exemption," the filing notes. "That amount is more than sufficient to satisfy the judgment, plus accrued interest and enforcement costs."

Lawyers for the former security guard called attention to Minaj's extraordinary net worth, insisting that she is more than "capable" of paying him the damages that he is owed.
“Although it is regrettable that the extraordinary measure of forcing the sale of Minaj’s dwelling is required, that result is entirely the product of her intransigence in not making payment," they stated.
"Minaj is a global music superstar, estimated to have a net worth of anywhere between $150 [million and] $190 million, and is reportedly the highest paid female rap star in the world.

"There is little doubt that she is highly capable of paying the judgment in full and, yet, she has refused to do so despite multiple written requests for payment and levies served upon several of her suspected creditors."
Addressing the legal filing on X, formerly known as Twitter, Minaj insisted that she was unaware any money was still owed to Weidenmuller, placing the blame for the issue on her business manager.
"I have evidence that this was given to a business [manager] who never told me," she wrote. "My lawyers AND business [managers] (old & new) are AWARE. Let’s see if they’ll speak up or if I’ll have to call them out by name. That same business [manager] STOLE from me MANY times."

The latest legal snaffle stems from an incident on March 22, 2019, when Weidenmuller says he was physically assaulted by Petty and verbally berated by Minaj after a fan broke through a barrier, and charged onto the stage during the rapper's performance.
The rapper allegedly became upset with the security team and told her husband about the incident.
Weidenmuller said he entered Minaj’s dressing room in an effort to console her, and was reportedly greeted by the "Starships" rapper, her husband, and two other security guards.

He claimed that he began consoling a crying Minaj, only for her to start yelling at him. He further alleged that she threw her shoe at him, before her husband sucker punched him in the jaw "without warning."
The security guard was then taken to the doctor where he was required to have jaw surgery.
Minaj's enormous abode in Hidden Hills currently serves as her primary residence.

The expansive dwelling comes with eight bedrooms, several bathrooms, a resort-style pool, a cabana, a terrace with sweeping views of the hills, and a separate guesthouse.
The home spans 12,000 square feet and sits in a wealthy neighborhood, where several stars reside.
Minaj previously rented a $28,000 monthly dwelling in Calabasas in 2020. She also previously rented a pad in Beverly Hills for $35,000 a month.
Minaj also once owned a $10 million, 7,000-square-foot abode with six bedrooms. It was her main residence before she picked up her Hidden Hills dwelling.

Mario Checks Fan Who Groped Him During Detroit Concert

During a recent performance at the Masonic Jack White Theatre in Detroit, R&B singer #Mario found himself the target of an inappropriate incident when a concert-goer reached out and groped him. According to video footage, a fan with a diamond ring slid their hand over Mario’s groin while he was performing. Mario responded on stage, appearing to lean down and scold the woman as he told her to stop. The singer’s representative has not publicly addressed the incident.

This mirrors a recent situation involving singer #Halsey. Earlier this month, a concertgoer slid their hand up her skirt while she was performing, sparking similar concerns about boundaries. With incidents like these becoming more frequent, it’s clear some fans need a reminder: enjoying the show is one thing, but respecting artists’ personal space is non-negotiable.

Jane Doe’s Sexual Assault Lawsuit Against Kevin Liles Dismissed By Federal Judge
A New York federal judge has dismissed a civil sexual assault suit brought against longtime music executive Kevin Liles, finding that a settlement signed nearly two decades ago barred the anonymous plaintiff from pursuing new claims. The ruling ends a case that revisited conduct the plaintiff alleged occurred while Liles served as president of Def Jam Recordings in 2002.

The plaintiff, identified as Jane Doe, accused Liles of harassment, unwanted physical contact, and rape. Liles consistently denied the allegations. U.S. District Judge Naomi Reice Buchwald concluded that the lawsuit could not proceed because Doe had already settled related claims with Universal Music Group, Def Jam’s parent company, in 2005.

According to court filings, UMG paid Doe $47,500 to resolve a complaint she filed with New York state regulators alleging retaliation and verbal harassment. That filing did not include rape claims, but Doe agreed not to pursue further legal action based on the same alleged conduct.
Judge Buchwald’s order held that the settlement’s release language clearly extended to Liles. She wrote that the agreement “expressly and unambiguously covered” the executive and noted that it discharged “any and all” claims that were known or reasonably should have been known at the time. She added that nothing in the agreement limited the scope of its protections, despite Liles having already departed Def Jam by the time UMG finalized the settlement.

The court dismissed the suit with prejudice, ruling that no amendment could cure the complaint’s legal deficiencies or circumvent the settlement’s terms. The decision underscores the broad reach of release provisions in employment-related agreements and their ability to insulate executives from subsequent litigation tied to the same alleged events. The ruling also highlights the weight courts give to finality when assessing long-resolved disputes between former employees and large entertainment companies.

Liles, who led Def Jam from 1999 to 2004, was not a party to the 2005 settlement. Still, Judge Buchwald held that the contract’s plain language barred Doe’s attempt to revive allegations decades later. The order closes the matter without further proceedings and reinforces the stringent standards plaintiffs must meet when attempting to challenge or reopen agreements negotiated under state regulatory frameworks.
Liles, a prominent figure in the industry, went on to co-found 300 Entertainment in 2012. Warner Music Group acquired the label in 2021, and Liles exited as CEO the following year.

Ex-Laker, Celtic Rick Fox announces run for political office in Bahamas

Former NBA player Rick Fox is running for political office in the Bahamas, he said Monday.
Fox announced his run for the Bahamas' House of Assembly in 2026 via a statement on social media:
"The Bahamas must be first and it must start now.

"Today, I’m announcing that I will be a candidate in the next general election.
"For months, I’ve been listening closely to the hopes and frustrations of my fellow Bahamians. One truth is clear: the future of The Bahamas will depend on the choices we make right now."
Fox, 56, was born in Toronto to a Bahamian father and Canadian mother. His family moved to the Bahamas when he was a child, and he grew up in Nassau. Fox picked up basketball in high school and went on to attend North Carolina, where he played four years for Hall of Fame head coach Dean Smith.

Fox went on to a 13-year NBA career split between the Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers. Fox joined the Lakers in 1997 after five seasons with the Celtics and went on to win three championships while playing alongside Shaquille O'Neal and Kobe Bryant.

Fox retired from basketball in 2004 and has since embarked on a career that's included acting and business ventures in gaming, private equity and sustainable construction. He'll make his run for office as the Bahamas continues to recover from the devastation wrought by Hurricane Dorian in 2019.

In his announcement, Fox noted "world-class healthcare, affordable housing, and safe communities" as pillars of his platform.

Muni Long Denies Disrespecting Mariah Carey In “Delulu” Skits Featuring Look-Alike
Muni Long’s viral “Delulu” skits featured a Mariah Carey look-alike, sparking fan backlash online.
She addressed the controversy on Instagram, saying she meant no disrespect.
The skit referenced Carey’s earlier comment about not liking others performing her songs.

Muni Long almost had us there. On Monday (Nov. 24), the “Made For Me” singer responded to claims on social media insisting she disrespected Mariah Carey in two skits promoting “Delulu.”
In one video shared on her socials, a Carey look-alike — aka Miss MC — offered to grace Muni with a rendition of the song, which originally dropped in October. “Oh, please, it would be my pleasure,” the Revenge artist said.

After giving Muni Long some unsolicited advice about how she should perform the record, Miss MC made her exit, saying she wasn’t “getting paid enough” to be there. Moments later, Muni stated, “I just don’t like when other people sing my songs,” cleverly referencing Carey’s previous comments about the “Hrs & Hrs” hitmaker performing “We Belong Together” at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards.

“I’m very honored and flattered that she did it,” Carey told GQ in September. “I love Muni Long, she's a great person... but I just don't like people doing my songs.”
In the second skit, the “Waste No Time” singer reacted to Miss MC showing up at her rehearsal. “Man, can y’all believe MC came to my rehearsal today? ’Cause I’m that girl,” she said. The Carey lookalike then appeared behind her and added, “I’m that girl, but we love everyone,” before giving her a playful push.

Fans thought it might’ve been shade toward Carey, but Muni Long quickly shut that down. “Y’all don’t be delulu,” she wrote via Instagram Stories. “I would never disrespect Queen Mariah!!!!!! Forever a Lamb.”

Muni and Carey previously collaborated on “Made For Me (Remix).” In her aforementioned conversation with GQ, the five-time Grammy winner said, “When Muni had her song, and I added my verse, I was into it. I really liked it. I remember exactly where I was when I was writing it. I loved it.”

In related news, Muni Long teamed up with LUDMILLA on “Tudo Igual” and Zara Larsson on “Midnight Sun” earlier this month.

Marissa Bode Explains How She Came Out as Queer

Marissa Bode is opening up about her personal life. The 25-year-old actress, who plays Nessarose in the Wicked movies, got candid about her sexuality in an interview with Them.
During the conversation, she spoke about meeting her partner, coming out as queer, and how it all went.

On how she and her partner met:
“Shout-out to my girl, Hinge…not an ad, but it can be, if Hinge would like me to. You don’t always see success stories on the apps, but this was one. We met in 2023. During the actors’ and writers’ strike, not too long after I came back from filming Wicked.”

On coming out:
“I had made it my New Year’s resolution almost three years in a row to pull the trigger, finally. And the last year leading up to it… This was post high school. I was still in college at the time. I was definitely ready at that point. I wanted to just talk about it freely and not feel like I was hiding anything. And I would just drop little hints, like blasting very queer music and singing very loudly to it in the car whenever I had the aux…I definitely felt ready when I came out during Pride Month. What better time? I knew I wanted to finally do it because I had been back home for Zoom college and I wanted to explore dating women. I identify as bi, but I like to say ‘queer,’ in general, because I don’t necessarily want to label it. But I knew that I wanted to explore that side of me. But before doing that, I wanted to be honest with my family about it. I baked these little hand pies that were very dry and not good, and I made this little sign and set it by a plate of said hand pies, and it said, ‘Roses are red. Have a hand pie. Happy Pride Month. Surprise, I’m bi.’ Just a little poetry.”

On coming out to friends after:
“Yeah, I told my friends immediately after. Honestly, I think it was just being from the Midwest and being in such a small town where queerness was mainly talked about as something that was funny and silly. But I knew my friends, specifically, would be accepting. I messaged the group chat and I sent a photo of the same sign that I made for my family, and they were all great.”

'Real Housewives of Potomac' Star Mia Thornton Breaks Silence After Arrest in Series of Instagram Posts
Real Housewives of Potomac star Mia Thornton appears to be speaking out about her recent arrest.
The 41-year-old reality star shared a series of Instagram posts, starting with one shared the day before her birthday on Monday (November 24), the day before her birthday and the caption was all about being “reborn” and “re-focused.”

Mia was arrested on November 19 for allegedly stealing $11,000 worth of furniture, including radios, TVs, DVD players, and more.
She has not been formally charged and hasn’t entered a plea yet either.
“Reborn. Re-centered. Re-focused. Year 41 — may it be soft, wealthy, protected, and intentional. 🤍 MIAMOR,” she wrote. “This new year is about rebuilding, refining, and rising with purpose. I’m grateful for the clarity that comes through adversity, and I’m committed to moving forward with integrity and grace. Thank you for the love, my loves.”

Mia also followed up with three additional posts, one more on Monday and two on her actual birthday, November 25.
“This past week reminded me of the importance of staying grounded, especially when life feels loud. I’m stepping into another year with clarity, accountability, and gratitude. Challenges don’t define me — how I rebuild does,” she wrote in one.

“In the midst of unexpected moments, I’m remembering who I am: a mother, a creator, a woman evolving in real time. I’m choosing peace, accountability, and personal growth. Thank you to those who continue to support my journey,” Mia said in another.
And in her most recent post, the businesswoman added, “I’m embracing this next chapter with softness and strength. Life will test you, but grace and self-awareness always win.

The Real Housewives star announced in April that she was departing the show.

954 Government Workers Rehired Overnight After Court Shuts Down Trump’s Mass Layoffs

In a major reversal, the Department of Health and Human Services has reinstated all 954 employees it laid off during the recent government shutdown.
HHS Deputy Assistant Secretary for Human Resources Thomas Nagy Jr. told a federal court in California that RIF (reduction in force) notices issued during the shutdown have been rescinded. Workers were instructed to return on their next scheduled workday and will receive retroactive pay from October 1 to November 12.

The layoffs, primarily targeting the CDC and pushed by Trump’s administration, were framed as part of an aggressive effort to slash the government workforce. Officials reportedly hoped to pressure Democratic lawmakers.
But unions including the American Federation of Government Employees stepped in, filing a lawsuit that led U.S. District Judge Susan Illston to halt the layoff plans indefinitely.

Even with this win, some reinstated workers worry more cuts could follow when current funding runs out in January.
