#RHOA: Kenya Moore Eviction Drama Delayed After Landlord’s Lawyer Misses Zoom Court
If you’re going to sue a Real Housewife, maybe show up on time. Blogger and YouTuber Michelle “ATLien” Brown had front-row seats (virtually, of course) to Kenya Moore’s eviction hearing—and she did *not* hold back.
Brown, who narrated the entire saga on her channel, called the landlord’s legal team completely unprepared, saying they “fumbled the bag” and accidentally gave Moore a court-approved grace period. She called it one of the messiest, most chaotic eviction hearings she’s ever witnessed—and frankly, we believe her.

On December 15, the eviction showdown began (and ended) on Zoom at 9:00 a.m. Moore, ever punctual, arrived with her attorney. The landlord’s attorney? Not a pixel in sight.
The judge waited, sighed (probably), and asked Moore’s lawyer to go ahead and file a motion to dismiss. They did. The judge granted it. Boom—case temporarily rejected. The court adjourned before the drama even got started.

A humorous depiction of a frazzled attorney at a cluttered desk, looking panicked while staring at a missed Zoom hearing notification on their laptop screen
Like a character in a sitcom arriving at the wrong wedding, the landlord’s attorney finally popped into the Zoom—late and clearly not ready. The judge informed them they’d missed the entire party, and everyone had already left.

Still trying to salvage the wreckage, the judge said the hearing could proceed only if the lawyer could track down Moore’s attorney again. Spoiler: they could not. And just like that, the case hit pause.
The Kenya Moore Hair Spa, located in Chamblee, Georgia, was at the center of this eviction mess. The landlord claims Moore stopped paying rent after her lease ended in 2024, racking up somewhere between $30,000 and $44,000 in unpaid rent.

Moore fired back with a countersuit, saying the landlord actually owes *her* money for upgrades she made to the building—like building a second floor. In the meantime, she gets to stay in the space thanks to legal Zoom theater and a very convenient courtroom glitch.
Let’s be clear: the dismissal wasn’t a legal victory on the facts. It was a technical KO courtesy of the opposing counsel’s alarm clock. Kenya Moore’s legal team did their job. The landlord’s team did… something else entirely.

ATLien described it as a “hot mess express,” and the internet agrees. This wasn’t just a hearing—it was a Bravo crossover event without the commercial breaks.
The Kenya Moore Hair Spa opened to fanfare but soon found itself entangled in lawsuits. The landlord filed for eviction in mid-2025, and Moore’s countersuit followed fast. She says she spent big money improving the space—and has the receipts.

Her argument? If anyone should be coughing up cash, it’s the landlord. Until a real decision is made in court (on time), Moore stays put—possibly sipping tea under a steamer chair.
Moore’s been through a lot on “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” but this eviction hearing might top them all for sheer absurdity. And thanks to a no-show attorney, she lives to lease another day.

Let’s just hope the landlord’s legal team sets a reminder next time. Because when you’re up against a Housewife with courtroom composure and ATLien narrating in real time, you better bring your A-game—or at least show up.

#MusicNews: Harry Styles Might Be Teasing His Next Album

Hey, Harry! How are ya? Long time, no see. Harry Styles gave a subtle reminder that a potential HS4 album could still be a possibility in 2026. As a surprise on December 27, Styles dropped a little treat for those who had been waiting three years for new music. The 8-minute video began with Italian fans lying down in a field together, sharing their excitement for the final Love on Tour show in Italy and speculating on what he might wear for his final look. The video soon cuts to Styles on stage, wearing a gold sparkly outfit as he plays piano for the last time on the tour. After he plays, he thanks the country in Italian and accepts the standing ovation. The camera is now on the crowd cheering before the screen reads “We belong together.”

Styles has been lying low and running hard during his three, almost four, year hiatus from new music. He performed with Stevie Nicks during the Summer of 2024 in a tribute to the late Christine McVie. The Harry’s House Grammy is well overdue for new music. As for what this surprise video is a precursor to, especially with a “We belong together” message overlaying his fans, we really hope it’s a new album in 2026.

#HipHopNews: Hot 97 Is Not Replacing Ebro In The Morning With Unknown Hosts From Atlanta
After 4 days of folks in the Tri-State are asking, "Who are these people?" The trio, along with Hot 97, confirmed they will host a new daily live news show coming to Hot 97 TV.
We can all breathe a sigh of relief, those three hosts from Atlanta are not the Ebro In The Morning replacements.

Hot 97 is currently in turmoil after it unceremoniously let go of the Ebro In The Morning crew, and things didn’t get better when they announced three relatively unknown radio hosts from Atlanta were the “new hosts.” Still, we are now getting more context following tremendous backlash.

The Instagram account for the iconic New York radio station didn’t help matters when it just dropped a post with three relatively unknown people, Ronndell: @Ronndell_smith, Lana: @lanajharris, and Million: @mynamesmillion, with the caption, “The NEW HOT 97 Hosts!”

After 4 days of folks in the Tri-State are asking, “Who are these people?” The trio, along with Hot 97, confirmed they will not be handling mornings but will host a new daily live news show coming to Hot 97 TV.
The trio even came together to discuss the fallout from the vague announcement and made light of the criticism they received from New Yorkers.
That still hasn’t quelled the reactions to the announcement, as people are wondering why Hot 97 botched it so badly.

“The tired narrative that NY is just full of haters, when Hot 97 purposely rage baited everyone to manufacture the exact response they wanted… Hot sold out their NY audience not because they got hosts from ATL, but because they didn’t respect NY enough to try and roll the show out for what it actually is,” wrote Genius VP of Music and Content, Rob Markman.

As to who will fill in the coveted morning slot, that remains to be a mystery. Initially, many believed it would be Funk Flex dropping early-morning bombs, only for him to reveal he would be working the AM shift for only one day.
Welp. Eventually, Hot 97 will name the new morning hosts

Montell Jordan Beats Cancer AGAIN

Montell Jordan is stepping into 2026 cancer free.
On Christmas Day, the “Get It On Tonite” singer took to Instagram to share that he had beaten prostate cancer after a long two year battle.
“Yesterday was Christmas, Jordan said as he began the video. “I got the greatest Christmas gift I could have ever gotten. “My doctors called me yesterday morning to let me know that I am undetectable now and cancer-free following a year of having preparation to have a prostate removed.”

“I am now a 2x cancer survivor,” he continued in the caption.
“This is been a 2 year journey that we have lived and simultaneously documented for a film called SUSTAIN. @sustainthemovie is where you can see updates.”
The film will chronicle his journey, while offering inspiration and awareness to those fighting similar battles. Montell Jordan also added that the upcoming film will be “one of the greatest gifts I have made to humanity.”

Jordan, 57, was first diagnosed with Stage 1 prostate cancer in 2024 following a routine Prostate-Specific Antigen screening. Although it was detected early, it returned in 2025.

Back in September, the “This Is How We Do It” singer appeared on TODAY. He opened up about undergoing targeted radiation and blockers to prevent cancer growth in his lymph nodes. He described the intense seven-and-a-half week treatment as a “temporary interruption” that was necessary to ensure a longer life.

Karl-Anthony Towns And Jordyn Woods Announce Their Engagement
Karl-Anthony Towns and Jordyn Woods made this Christmas season extra special. After five years as a couple, Towns and Woods are engaged.
Towns proposed to Woods on Christmas Day at Overstory, a rooftop bar in New York City, where he got down on one knee.

“Merry Christmas,” their joint Instagram post read.
Before the announcement of their engagement, the couple celebrated their first anniversary on Woods’ Instagram series Regular-ish. They also shared how the difficult times they endured, including the death of Towns’ mother, Jacqueline, in April 2020.

“Me and Jordyn met years ago, knowing common people and just became friends,” Towns explained. “And ever since then, our relationship grew where we became more than friends. I’m not saying that way, but just best friends. And then we started having a deeper relationship.”

“It just so happened that COVID came and kind of brought its challenges. And it kind of forced us to either pick where our relationship was going to go as friends or something more. “We are the latter,” Towns continued.
“I think it’s kind of cool dating your best friend,” Woods added. “We know each other, and we know each other’s hearts. We know each other on good days and bad days, and we’ve been through a lot of bad days together.”

Towns said that Woods immersed herself in the basketball world.
“It means a lot,” she said of her commitment. Adding that her support “on a daily basis” — whether in correlation to his basketball career or not — “is truly special to me.”
He added: “You know, with my mom and my sister, I’ve seen the impact that good women have on men’s lives, and I’m just blessed that I saw that firsthand before I got with Jordyn so that I could learn to appreciate her.”

Speaking with PEOPLE in 2023,  Woods said their relationship is built on their friendship.
“Friendship and trust,” Woods said at the time. “We were really good friends before we started dating. And COVID gave us that free time in our lives to really get to know each other. Because a lot of people don’t really get to know each other, and they go into this relationship.”

“So, we’ve been through a lot together,” she added. “We’ve seen each other in all different ways, times, phases, so I think we have a very strong foundation.”

Nicki Minaj Deactivates Her Instagram Account

Nicki Minaj is planning to keep a low profile in 2026. Following her surprise appearance at Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest, Minaj has deactivated her Instagram account.
Walking out with Erika Kirk, the widow of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, Minaj lauded President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance as “role models” for young men.

“This administration is full of people with heart and soul, and they make me proud of them. Our vice president makes me … well, I love both of them,” Minaj said. “Both of them have a very uncanny ability to be someone that you relate to.”
“I have the utmost respect and admiration for our president. I don’t know if he even knows this, but he’s given so many people hope,” Minaj continued.

Minaj said she decided to follow Trump because she “got tired of being pushed around.”
“I have something inside of me that’s stronger than what’s out there. So when you’ve had enough, you realize, ‘Wait a minute, why do I even care about these people and what they think? Who are they?’ They don’t even know who they are,” Minaj continued.  “So I’m not going to back down anymore. I’m not going to back down ever again.”

Minaj also mocked California Gov. Gavin Newsom, calling him “New-scum”, a nickname Trump gave the California governor.
But it wasn’t long before Minaj made a major gaffe, calling Vance an “assassin.”
“You have amazing role models like the assassin, JD Vance, our vice president,” Minaj said before realizing her choice of words. Charlie Kirk was fatally shot during a Turning Point USA event on the campus of Utah Valley University in September. She covered her mouth with her palm, showing her embarrassment.
“If the internet wants to clip it, who cares? I love this woman,” said Erika Kirk, coming to Minaj’s defense.
“Trust me, there’s nothing new under the sun that I have not heard, so you’re fine… I love you. You have to laugh about it truly,” Kirk told Minaj. “You say what you want to say, because I know your heart and I will not judge that.”

Brigitte Bardot, French actress and sex symbol, dies at 91
A symbol of rebellious youth and beauty, Brigitte Bardot helped usher in the sexual revolution in the movies with her sensual, uninhibited performances in films like Jean-Luc Godard’s “Contempt.” Then in the second half of her life, she carved an unconventional path as a fierce advocate for animal rights.

The legendary French actress died at 91, according to a statement from her foundation provided to CNN on Sunday.
“The Brigitte Bardot Foundation pays tribute to the memory of an exceptional woman who gave everything and gave up everything for a world more respectful of animals,” the foundation said. “Her legacy lives on through the actions and struggles the Foundation continues with the same passion and the same fidelity to her ideals.”

Known in France merely by her initials B.B., Bardot tantalized audiences and scandalized moral authorities with her raw display of sexuality in the 1950s and ‘60s. She became a box-office phenomenon in the United States and helped to popularize foreign films with Americans at a time when censorship in Hollywood movies forbade frank discussions of sex, much less nudity.

Describing her impact, Life magazine said in 1961, “Everywhere girls walk, dress, wear their hair like Bardot and wish they were free souls like her.”
French President Emmanuel Macron paid tribute to Bardot, saying she “embodied a life of freedom.”
“Her films, her voice, her dazzling glory, her initials, her sorrows, her generous passion for animals, her face that became Marianne (the symbol of the French republic), Brigitte Bardot embodied a life of freedom,” Macron posted on X.

“We mourn a legend of the century,” he added.
‘As much a hunter as she is a prey’
She divided public opinion as one of the first truly modern celebrities. Long before Madonna, Bardot pursued several love affairs with men on her own terms and was unapologetic about her hedonistic behavior and lifestyle in a pre-feminist era.

“In the game of love, she is as much a hunter as she is a prey,” French writer Simone de Beauvoir observed in a famous 1959 essay first published in Esquire, “Brigitte Bardot and the Lolita Syndrome.” “The male is an object to her, just as she is to him. And that is precisely what wounds masculine pride.”

The star dismissed her own acting abilities and rarely won critics’ praise, but her charismatic personality was undeniable for nearly two decades in 40-plus films such as “…And God Created Woman” (1956), “Contempt” (1963) and “Viva Maria!” (1965). She also became a popular singer in France in the ‘60s.

Aside from her movies and music, Bardot’s fashion sense kept her at the forefront of pop culture in the second half of the 20th century. Her bleached blond hair, worn long and straight, or up in a twist with tresses cascading down, as well as her penchant for casual, form-fitting outfits kept her image contemporary-looking long after the ‘60s were over. Jane Fonda and Julie Christie were among the actresses who would mimic her, while models such Kate Moss and Claudia Schiffer would also copy her sexy, tousled look.

A London art dealer explained what made Bardot such a trendsetter while holding a photo exhibit in 2009 to celebrate the star’s 75th birthday.
“She was natural, she went barefoot, she didn’t brush her hair, she wore no makeup, she wore (flat-soled) pumps because she trained as a ballet dancer,” James Hyman told The Guardian.
“It’s that image of freedom, exuberance and youth. She stood up as being authentic, instinctive, free. For women, it was a feminist thing; it was about women behaving as men did, taking lovers and having affairs.”

A life pivot, for a cause
After retiring from movies at age 39 in 1973, Bardot used her celebrity to bring attention to the plight of animals.
“I gave my beauty and my youth to men, and now I am giving my wisdom and experience, the best of me, to animals,” she told a crowd at a 1987 auction of her memorabilia to raise funds for the Brigitte Bardot Foundation for animal welfare.

But she remained a controversial figure, facing criticism for expressing anti-immigrant attitudes when she denounced Islamic rituals involving the slaughter of animals. Her 1992 marriage to Bernard d’Ormale, an associate of far-right politician Jean-Marie Le Pen, cemented the idea that she was out of touch with a modern and diverse France. She was convicted for inciting racial hatred multiple times, including by insulting the Muslim community, according to Reuters news agency.

In a tribute to the movie star, far-right figurehead Marine Le Pen, Jean-Marie’s daughter, said Bardot was an “exceptional woman” who will be “greatly missed by us.” Meanwhile, Jordan Bardella, leader of France’s far-right National Rally party, called the actress a “woman of heart, conviction and character.”

Further thumbing her nose at public expectations, Bardot aged naturally and resisted plastic surgery like so many of her Hollywood contemporaries. The one-time “sex kitten” of the movies let her hair go gray and didn’t hide the lines on her face after years of tanning.
Born September 28, 1934, Bardot grew up in an upper middle-class Parisian family far removed from the glittery entertainment world. She aspired to be a ballerina, but her appearance on the cover of Elle magazine at age 15 attracted the attention of film director Marc Allégret and especially his young assistant, Roger Vadim. Six years older than Bardot, Vadim, an aspiring filmmaker, would become a love interest to the future actress and play a major role in her rise to movie stardom.

Her family initially disapproved of the relationship and barred them from seeing one another. Distraught, Bardot tried to commit suicide – the first of several reported attempts – but her parents relented and agreed to let her marry Vadim in 1952 when she turned 18.

Bardot gradually built up her career with small roles in French films, and she captivated photographers at the 1953 Cannes Film Festival with her youthful, spontaneous appearance. Three years later, Vadim directed his first film, “…And God Created Woman,” with his wife as a young temptress who comes between two brothers. Audiences couldn’t get enough of Bardot – from the moment she first appears nude behind clothesline sheets until a sweat-drenched erotic dance near the film’s end.

“People pretended to be shocked by Brigitte’s nudity and unabashed sensuality when, in fact, they were attacking a film that spoke without hypocrisy of a woman’s right to enjoy sex, a right up to that point reserved for men,” Vadim wrote three decades later.
Filmed in the glamorous French town of Saint-Tropez, “…And God Created Woman” put the then-fishing village on the map and helped to make the town famous throughout the world. In a statement Sunday, the town called Bardot the “most dazzling ambassador” while expressing its “great sadness” over her death.

“Brigitte Bardot now belongs to the collective memory of Saint-Tropez, which we must preserve. She will continue to live on in the soul of our city,” the statement said.
The milestone French film was the first of five times that Vadim would direct Bardot, and the huge hit established her as a Top 10 US box-office attraction in 1958. Prior to that, foreign actresses became international celebrities only after starring in American movies, but Bardot resisted pressure to go to Hollywood.

The Vadims divorced in 1957 in the wake of Bardot’s affair with costar Jean-Louis Trintignant, the first of several high-profile romances that would make her a paparazzi favorite.
“My life was totally turned upside down,” Bardot told CNN in 2007. “I was followed, spied upon, adored, insulted. My private life became public. Overnight, I found myself imprisoned, a gilded prison but a prison nonetheless.”

At the height of her stardom, Bardot moved between light sex comedies such as “Une Parisienne” (1957), “Come Dance With Me!” (1959) and “Babette Goes to War” (1959) to more dramatic roles in “En Cas de Malheur” (1958) and “La Vérité” (1960). In the latter, she won acclaim playing a suicidal young woman who goes on trial for murder after accidentally killing her lover.

Its filming was an emotionally trying time for Bardot, coming shortly after the birth of her only child, Nicolas, and as her second marriage, to actor Jacques Charrier, was unraveling. Bardot gave birth while trapped in her Paris apartment, outside of which hordes of photographers were camped awaiting the momentous event.

After finishing the difficult role in “La Vérité,” Bardot made world headlines when she tried to kill herself in September 1960 on her 26th birthday. A boy miraculously discovered the star – who had taken pills and cut her wrists – in the woods on a country estate after she had gone missing.

But Bardot proved to be a survivor, even weathering criticism that she was a bad mother for giving up custody of her son. She soon tackled the autobiographical role of an emotionally troubled star trapped by fame in “Vie Privée” (1962).
In a scene based on a real incident that crystallized some of the public’s reaction to Bardot at the time, a cleaning lady lashes out at the star’s character in an elevator, angry over her promiscuity while the maid’s brother is fighting in the Algerian War.

As “the most photographed woman in the world” (according to the 1963 short “Paparazzi”), the star reached her career peak in the mid-1960s with the much-publicized filming of Jean-Luc Godard’s “Contempt” and Louis Malle’s “Viva Maria!”
Critics accused Godard, a leading exponent of the experimental French New Wave, of selling out when he made a big-budget movie with Bardot. Ironically, the film was about the dangers of commercialism, and the director reportedly added a long bedroom scene near the beginning displaying the actress’ nude backside to appease producers’ demands for more flesh.

“Contempt” remains the one Bardot film considered a classic, but it’s atypical of the star’s usual light fare. Instead of her charming, vivacious nature, she appears sullen and withdrawn as her screenwriter-husband prostitutes himself for an obnoxious Hollywood producer, even using her as bait to attract and win the man’s favor.

“Viva Maria!” would be the last Bardot movie to have an impact outside France, teaming her with Jeanne Moreau in a romp about female revolutionaries in Mexico. The next few years would see a series of disappointments, including a British-made Western with Sean Connery, “Shalako” (1968), and a final film with Vadim, “Don Juan, or If Don Juan Were a Woman” (1973).

While her film career was stalling, Bardot emerged as a popular singer in France. She collaborated with Serge Gainsbourg and other musicians on songs like “Harley-Davidson,” “Bonnie and Clyde” and “Comic Strip.” One of her French TV specials even aired on NBC in 1968, presenting the star in a series of music videos nearly 15 years before MTV.

‘Motivated by the defense of animals’
After threatening for years to retire, Bardot finally called it quits in the early ‘70s. Making movies never seemed to satisfy her.
“All of this – most of this – bores me,” she told The Saturday Evening Post as early as 1965. “I try to be my best, to be always prepared, but I am not an actress. Lady Macbeth does not interest me. I am just Brigitte Bardot. In the movies or out, I do not think I will ever be anything else.”

However, she didn’t disappear from the spotlight completely, instead focusing her energy on helping animals. Her campaign to protect baby seals from hunters in Canada attracted much press attention in the late ‘70s, with images of the star holding a seal cub. But it also exposed her to ridicule.
“When I gave up movies, some people said I was protecting animals to gain publicity,” she told The New York Times in 1994. “Now, if there was one woman in the world who didn’t need publicity, who always had too much publicity, it was me. Even today, there are people who ask, why don’t you help children, or the people in Bosnia, or old people, or AIDS victims? There are always people telling me I should worry about something else.”

She would sell off many of her personal effects to raise money for her foundation, including a diamond ring from third husband Gunter Sachs, and sign over the ownership to La Madrague, her longtime beachfront home in St. Tropez.

Just as she made her own rules as a film star, Bardot provoked controversy as an animal rights activist. She was convicted and fined at least five times in France for inciting racial hatred over her remarks about Muslims.
Her unorthodox viewpoints continued to make headlines until as recently as 2025, when she spoke out in defense of former costar, Gerard Depardieu, who was facing sexual assault accusations. This came after her previous comments deriding many accusers in the wake of the #MeToo movement.

Bardot was such an icon in France by the late ‘60s that she became the first celebrity to be used as a model for Marianne, the symbol of the French Republic often displayed as a statue in town halls. But the French public’s perception of her changed as she grew older, with many regarding her as an eccentric, intolerant crank.
However, her advocacy for animals didn’t know any ideological boundaries. She ridiculed 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin as “a disgrace to women” over the candidate’s views on global warming and gun rights.

And more recently, she denounced President Donald Trump when he initially sought to remove restrictions on importing African elephant trophies (a move he later put on hold): “Your shameful actions confirm the rumors that you are unfit for office,” she wrote in a letter to the US leader, according to Agence France-Presse.

But she denied ever being political, telling Vanity Fair in 2012 that everything she did was “motivated by the defense of animals.”
“I don’t feel old or used up,” Bardot, then nearly 80, told the magazine, “and I don’t have time to waste thinking about aging, because I live only for my cause.”
The star always downplayed a possible return to the movies: “Oh la la! The page has turned. Cinema is finished for me.”

Tyrese Celebrates Alleged $2 Million Divorce from Ex-Wife

The “Sweet Lady” singer revealed that his long-running divorce battle with ex-wife Samantha Gibson has finally come to an end. According to Tyrese, the legal battle was quite costly, emotionally, financially, and publicly.
Beyond the courtroom bills, Tyrese also claimed the fallout damaged far more than his bank account. He said he endured “almost $50 million worth of public scrutiny, PR damage, and reputational attacks. The Fast & Furious franchise star claims the “attacks” were tied to the highly publicized divorce and child support disputes that played out in the public eye.

Justin Combs Makes Christmas Trip To See Diddy In Prison
Diddy’s rep, Juda Engelmayer, told TMZ Justin and his father talked about managing life during this tough time. They discussed prayer, family and looking back on the past with plans to do better.

No gifts were allowed during the visit. The Christmas meeting came one day after Diddy’s lawyers filed new court papers. They want to overturn Judge Arun Subramanian’s 50-month sentence for two Mann Act charges, after Diddy was convicted for moving people across state lines for sex work.
He says he’s innocent and wants his sentence thrown out or reduced.

Diddy has been locked up since September 2024. A grand jury charged him with sex trafficking and racketeering.
Justin Combs faced his own legal problems in 2025.
A woman filed a lawsuit in June accusing Justin and his father of rape. The suit claims Justin used his dad’s fame to trick a woman from Louisiana into coming to Los Angeles in 2017.

She says they held her prisoner for a weekend and attacked her with two other men. The lawsuit says Justin promised the woman a job using his father’s connections. She flew to Los Angeles and went to a Beverly Hills property where she was drugged and attacked.

Justin allegedly used the job offer and private photos to control her.
Diddy’s legal team denied all claims in the lawsuit.
They said anyone can file a lawsuit for any reason and stated Justin, nor Didd, ever sexually attacked or trafficked anyone.

Tyler Perry Has been Hit with a $77 Million Harassment Lawsuit from Mario Rodriguez,

Earlier this year actor Derrick Dixon, who starred on 'Tyler Perry's The Oval," as Dale, filed a $260 million lawsuit against Perry over unwanted advances and touching

Now another Tyler Perry actor is accusing the media mogul of the same thing in a $77 million lawsuit...
From The Hollywood Reporter: Tyler Perry has been sued for sixual battery by an actor who appeared in Boo! A Madea Halloween and accuses the entertainment mogul of multiple instances of assault across several years at his Los Angeles home.
Mario Rodriguez, in a lawsuit filed on Thursday in California state court, claims that Perry subjected him to unwanted sixual advances, including one occasion in 2018 in which the filmmaker “tightly hugged” him and “grabbed his paynis.”
In a statement, Alex Spiro, a lawyer for Perry, denied the allegations.

“Having recently failed in another matter against Mr. Perry, the very same lawyer has now made yet another demand from more than a decade ago which will also be a failed money grab,” he told The Hollywood Reporter.
Rodriguez brings claims for sixual assault, sixual battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress, plus a claim against Lionsgate, which distributed Boo! A Madea Halloween and did not immediately respond to a request for comment, for turning a blind eye to Perry’s alleged misconduct. He seeks at least $77 million.

Former ‘Lion King’ Child Star Imani Dia Smith Dead At 26 Boyfriend Charged With Murder
A former child actress who starred in “The Lion King” on Broadway has died at age 26. Imani Dia Smith was found deceased with multiple stab wounds at a residence in Edison, New Jersey on Sunday, December 21.
Imani’s 3-year-old son was in the home but he was not harmed.

Her boyfriend, Jordan D. Jackson-Small, 35, was arrested on Dec. 23, and charged with her murder, according to Edison Police Chief Thomas Bryan.
Jordan is charged with first-degree murder, second-degree endangering the welfare of a child, third-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and fourth-degree unlawful possession of a weapon, prosecutors said.

Imani’s mother, Monique, works as a hairdresser for Broadway, TV and film productions. Monique’s IMDb page shows she worked on television shows as a hairstylist since 2010.
Imani’s family announced her death in a GoFundMe page summary.
“She leaves behind a 3-year-old son, her parents, her two younger siblings, and an extended family, friends, and community who loved her so very much,” Imani’s aunt Kira Helper wrote.

“Imani had her whole life ahead of her. She was a vivacious, loving and fiercely talented person. A true triple-threat performer, she most notably played the role of Young Nala on Broadway in Disney’s Lion King — an experience that reflected the joy, creativity, and light she put into the world,” Kira added.
Kira said money raised will go towards funeral expenses, crime scene cleanup, trauma therapy for her family, legal and administrative costs related to the criminal proceedings in her death and care for Imani’s son and dog.

According to Playbill, Imani appeared in The Lion King on Broadway between 2011 and 2012.

Ja Rule is ready to become a grandfather. The rapper recently chatted with PEOPLE at the Dream360 grand opening party about his excitement to become a grandfather

The Fast and the Furious star is a father to three children. While chatting with PEOPLE at the Dream360 grand opening party in New Jersey on Thursday, Nov. 13, the rapper and actor, 49, shared his excitement to become a grandfather. The soon-to-be grandfather says he's "very happy and excited" to welcome the new addition into the family.

"It's a blessing. I'm very, very happy and excited," he tells PEOPLE. "My first child was my daughter, a girl, and my first grandchild is also going to be a girl."
The "Put It on Me" rapper says his grandbaby will give him the opportunity to soften up more.
"If I wasn't soft enough, we are going take a second dose of it, but I'm so happy," he says. "I can't wait to see her."
"It's weird, you get older, and then you get back into little people mode," the rapper adds. "You want a little person around again in the house. All my kids are grown, so it's been a long time, so it's going to be a lot of fun for me and the missus."

Ja Rule first announced the exciting news that his daughter, Brittney Atkins, 30, is pregnant and expecting her first baby with husband Tevin Aitken during his appearance on the Sherri show in October.
"I'm about to be a grandfather," he said, jokingly adding, "That don't even sound right."
When host Sherri Shepherd asked him how he found out the happy news, the soon-to-be grandfather recalled the "very cute" way his daughter broke the news to him.

"It was very cute the way she did it. She put the sonogram in a box and it was a card that said, 'You're now grandma and grandfather,' and the sonogram was in the thing," he explained.

Ja Rule went on to share more about the moment.
"And she said, 'I got a gift for you guys.' And we thought it was a real gift," he said, quickly adding that the news was a gift, but not what they expected. "So, we go into the room ... and we open it up, and she got the camera on."
"You can see my expression, see me in wifey's expression," he added. "And it was an amazing moment."
The dad of three already has the name his grandchild will call him picked out.

"I think I'm going to steal my name from the Notorious B.I.G. Yeah. I love it when they call me Big Poppa," he said, laughing.
After the announcement, Shepherd gifted him a custom-made cardigan with the words "Big Poppa" written on it.

Music Icon Patti LaBelle spreads soulful cheer for the Holidays

Tamron Hall’s feel-good “Week of Wishes” got an extra dose of sparkle and soul when the one and only Patti LaBelle stopped by for a festive, heartwarming conversation that felt like a warm holiday hug. The legendary, Grammy Award–winning icon lit up the studio as she chatted about her exciting season of life, from touring the country to soaking up every moment of being a doting grandmother — all while sprinkling in laughter, wisdom, and holiday cheer.

LaBelle kicked things off by sharing her excitement about hitting the road for the Queens Tour, a powerhouse lineup that celebrates iconic voices and enduring sisterhood. She spoke with pride and gratitude about continuing to perform at such a high level, reminding everyone that passion and purpose don’t have an expiration date. The joy was palpable as she teased a very special holiday surprise she had planned just for Hall, proving that LaBelle’s generosity is just as legendary as her voice.

As if the moment couldn’t get any more magical, LaBelle treated viewers to an exclusive, festive performance of “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year.” Her unmistakable vocals instantly transformed the studio into a winter wonderland, setting the perfect tone for the holiday season and leaving both the audience and viewers at home smiling from ear to ear.

When the conversation turned to Christmas plans, LaBelle revealed that she’ll be hosting the holiday at her home this year. She jokingly claimed she wouldn’t be cooking before bursting into laughter and admitting that, of course, she will. With help from her grandchildren, especially when it comes to preparing her beloved mac and cheese, the celebration promises to be a true family affair. LaBelle shared that her grandkids lovingly call her “Grandma,” and she proudly embraced her role as the ultimate spoiler. While she joked that her son might not always appreciate it, she confidently declared herself a very good grandma and it was hard to argue.

The reminiscing continued as LaBelle reflected on a touching moment from The Boy Is Mine Tour, when she joined Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams on stage. She recalled being surprised by the two with 300 roses, a heartfelt thank-you for LaBelle’s early support of their careers. The moment was especially meaningful because so many audience members that night were from Philadelphia, her hometown, making the love feel even more personal.

LaBelle also celebrated the incredible success of the Queens Tour alongside Chaka Khan and Stephanie Mills, calling the experience unforgettable and deeply fulfilling. In the true spirit of the season, she surprised one lucky audience member with a pair of tickets, sharing how blessed and grateful she feels this holiday season.

Never one to shy away from real talk, LaBelle even weighed in on holiday etiquette. Regifting? Absolutely fine, she said especially if it goes to someone who will truly appreciate it. Adding extra seasoning in front of guests? Go for it. Make it your own.

To close out the celebration, LaBelle and Hall delivered one final surprise, gifting the entire audience LaBelle’s pancake and waffle mix, along with coffee and a coffee maker. It was the perfect sweet ending to a joyful, laughter-filled holiday moment sending everyone home with full hearts, full bellies, and plenty of cheer.

Taylor Swift quietly spreads $2 million in holiday cheer
In a demonstration of holiday generosity that extended far beyond festive Instagram posts, Taylor Swift channeled her considerable resources into meaningful charitable work this December, distributing over $2 million across organizations tackling some of America’s most pressing concerns. The donations, confirmed by the receiving nonprofits on Tuesday, underscore the singer’s commitment to causes ranging from food insecurity to cardiovascular research.

The 14-time Grammy winner allocated $1 million to Feeding America, the nation’s largest hunger-relief organization, and matched that sum with another seven-figure gift to the American Heart Association. Swift also contributed what MusiCares, the Recording Academy’s charitable foundation, described as a generous donation to support musicians facing financial hardship.

Swift’s substantial gift to the American Heart Association carries particular significance given her family’s recent medical challenges. Her father, Scott Swift, underwent quintuple bypass surgery in June, an experience that likely influenced the artist’s decision to support cardiovascular research and prevention efforts.

The century-old organization emphasized its unwavering dedication to preventing heart disease and helping Americans live longer, healthier lives, drawing a playful connection to Swift’s album Fearless. The donation will fund critical research initiatives and expand access to life-saving treatments across diverse communities, areas where funding gaps have historically limited progress. According to the organization, Swift’s contribution will advance ongoing scientific research, strengthen prevention and treatment efforts, and expand access to care for every community.

Heart disease remains the leading cause of death in the United States, claiming approximately 697,000 lives annually according to recent statistics.
Feeding America leadership expressed profound appreciation for Swift’s support during a period when food banks nationwide face increased demand. The organization’s chief executive noted that the holiday season gift serves as a powerful reminder of what becomes possible when people unite to address hunger.

The timing proves crucial as inflation and economic uncertainty have stretched household budgets thin, driving more families to seek assistance from food banks. Feeding America operates a network of 200 food banks and 60,000 food pantries serving communities across all 50 states.

Swift‘s philanthropic spirit appears contagious among her devoted fanbase, who recently organized their own charitable initiative inspired by her Eras Tour. During the Disney+ documentary series Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version), backup dancer Kameron Saunders shared that he initially lacked funds to travel for his audition. His brother, NFL player Khalen Saunders of the New Orleans Saints, purchased the plane ticket that launched Kameron’s career on one of music’s biggest stages.

When Khalen mentioned on social media that fans thanked him for supporting his brother but nobody had asked what he wanted for Christmas, Swifties responded with characteristic enthusiasm. They flooded his nonprofit organization, Original Element, with donations of $13 — Swift’s famously lucky number — to support the foundation’s mission of promoting sports accessibility for underserved groups, including LGBTQ+ youth.

The NFL player responded to the overwhelming generosity by expressing deep gratitude for the support and assuring donors that every dollar would be invested directly back into the community.
While MusiCares didn’t disclose the exact amount Swift contributed, the organization provides essential services to music professionals struggling with financial, medical and personal crises. The foundation offers emergency assistance, addiction recovery support and preventive health programs for an industry where financial instability remains common even among working professionals.

Swift’s multimillion-dollar holiday giving spree reinforces her reputation as one of entertainment’s most consistent philanthropists, someone who leverages her platform and wealth to address systemic challenges rather than simply writing checks for publicity. Her approach — supporting established organizations doing proven work — reflects a maturing understanding of effective philanthropy that extends beyond individual acts of kindness to institutional change.

South Park Comedy Writer Bought ‘Trump Kennedy Center’ Domain Names

The White House may have successfully rebranded the Kennedy Center, but they forgot to check if the website was available.
Toby Morton, a writer for the legendary series South Park, revealed that he is the proud owner of trumpkennedycenter.org and trumpkennedycenter.com.

Morton didn’t wait for the official press release to act; he actually secured the domain names back in August. This was a full four months before Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt announced that the board had “voted unanimously” to officially change  the name to Trump-Kennedy Center.

Morton’s move was fueled by his observation of the political landscape throughout 2025.
He told The Washington Post that his interest peaked when Trump began “gutting the Kennedy Center board earlier this year,” replacing long-standing members with a new wave of loyalists and appointing himself as the chair.

For the comedy writer, the writing was on the wall. “I thought, ‘Yep, that name’s going on the building,’ ” Morton shared, adding that “the rest followed on schedule.” He clearly saw the pivot toward personal branding coming from a mile away and decided to claim the digital real estate before the government could.

Snatching up political domains is actually a side hustle for Morton, who currently owns around 50 sites used to parody figures like Marjorie Taylor Greene and Nancy Mace.
While the administration hasn’t reached out to buy the URLs yet, Morton is already plotting his next move. He teased that the upcoming sites will be a masterclass in satire.

“It’ll absolutely reflect the absurdity of the moment. Lots of surprises. Some things are truly hard to parody, though,” he admitted.
He views the renaming as a shift away from the institution’s true purpose, stating, “The Kennedy Center has always been a cultural institution meant to outlast any one administration or personality. It’s meant to honor culture, not ego. Once it was treated like personal branding, satire became unavoidable.”

Despite the high profile nature of the takeover, Morton says he hasn’t been contacted by anyone close to Trump regarding a buyout.
He seems more than happy to hold onto the domains to make a point about the current state of cultural landmarks.
By staying one step ahead of the official announcement, Morton has ensured that the “Trump-Kennedy Center” will have a very different presence online than it does on its new gold lettered facade.

It’s a classic case of a writer finding the punchline before the story even broke, proving that in 2025, the internet is still the ultimate playground for a well timed troll.
