#RHOA: Phaedra Parks Talks Porsha Williams’ Same-Sex Relationship: ‘Girl, Have at It’
The Real Housewives of Atlanta is back, and new alliances and love interests seem to be the name of the game. There are unlikely friendships and rumors, but most eyes remain on Porsha Williams and her new girlfriend. Phaedra Parks is all for it. She’s happy her RHOA bestie is happy.

Fans learned about Porsha and her relationship with Patrice “Sway” McKinney last year. Following her tumultuous divorce from Simon Guobadia, Porsha shared that she was open to dating both men and women (which likely explains her male love interest in the RHOA premiere).

But it looks like Porsha found love in the “lady pond.” She and Patrice hard-launched their relationship last November. The RHOA star said her girlfriend will be featured in the new season, and her castmates are here for it.

Phaedra Parks talked to DECIDER about her thoughts on Porsha’s new relationship. “She seems very happy,” Phaedra said (at the 4:08 mark above). “Porsha is a free spirit. I never figured her to go all out and get a girlfriend, but Porsha likes to try new things, so this is definitely a new page in her book. I’m excited.”

“Sway is absolutely the sweetest, the most handsomely gorgeous woman,” Phaedra added, admitting that Patrice was a great match for Porsha. “She’s so sweet, she’s so kind, and she adores Porsha. When Porsha is happy, I’m happy. Frick and Frack is back!”

She’s definitely supportive of Porsha entering the lady pond despite not being in that pond herself. “This one is not in the pond,” Phaedra explained, pointing to herself. “But if she (Porsha) wants to get in that pond, have it. I love it. Sway is the best. We all want to be loved. And wherever you find it, honey, enjoy it. Dig in. Two scoops at a time.”

The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs on Sundays at 9/8c on Bravo. You can stream it the next day on Peacock.

#MusicNews: PJ Morton Releases New R&B Single "Mutual,"

On the heels of earning his sixth career GRAMMY® win and 22nd nomination earlier this year – and celebrating his birthday with special guests Stevie Wonder, Susan Carol, Ogi, J. Ivy and Ledisi at LA's Blue Note just last week – PJ Morton has returned with "Mutual." Out now on Morton Records / SRG-ILS Group, the new single marks his first of 2026, setting the table with the perfect sound for a Saturday night: R&B. But after Saturday night comes Sunday morning, and this Friday, April 10th, PJ Morton will release his second new single of the year, "Mercy," rooted in the music that has equally shaped his life, journey and story: Gospel.

Listen to "Mutual" via Morton Records / SRG-ILS Group, below

"I took some time last year to get inspired about new solo music," says PJ Morton. "I've been fortunate enough to create in so many different spaces. This year I want to explore all of those fully with no limits."

After a recent series of releases with Angelique Kidjo, Moonchild, Darrel Walls, La Reezy, Netflix, Dr. Seuss and more, "Mutual" and "Mercy" showcase the many multitudes that together make PJ Morton uniquely PJ Morton: a singer, songwriter, producer and preacher's kid born, raised and based in New Orleans; a 6x GRAMMY®-winner and 22x GRAMMY® nominee; an unmatched performer who has played everywhere from church services to the Super Bowl Halftime Show; the head of his own record label and the longtime keyboardist of Maroon 5; a trusted collaborator of Stevie Wonder, Erykah Badu, Jon Batiste, Nas, Lil Wayne, JoJo, Jill Scott and countless others; and the first Black composer to ever write an original song for a Disney attraction, who has made an album across four African countries, published a memoir, and continues to defy expectations while straddling the tensions of music and faith, race and culture, expression and identity.

Produced by PJ Morton, both "Mutual" and "Mercy" were recorded at his own Studio In The Country, the historic 20-acre campus in rural Bogalusa, Louisiana, where Stevie Wonder, Dr. John, The Neville Brothers, The Meters, Trent Reznor and Willie Nelson have all made classic records, and which Morton is now working to preserve.
Following upcoming performances at French Quarter Festival, Atlanta Jazz Festival, AFRAM Festival and the Aretha Franklin Amphitheatre, PJ Morton will also make his solo debut at Rock in Rio this summer.

#HipHopNews: Wireless Festival Cancelled After Kanye Is Denied Entry Into The U.K.
One of Europe’s biggest Hip Hop festivals has been shut down entirely after a major decision from the U.K. government involving Kanye West.
The 2026 edition of Wireless Festival in London has officially been cancelled after Ye, who was scheduled to headline all three nights, was denied entry into the United Kingdom. Government officials determined that his presence would not be “conducive to the public good,” effectively blocking his travel authorization and forcing organizers into a difficult position.

With Ye serving as the centerpiece of the festival’s lineup, organizers ultimately decided they could not move forward with the event.
In an official statement, festival organizers confirmed the cancellation, saying, “The Home Office has withdrawn Ye’s ETA, denying him entry into the United Kingdom. As a result, Wireless Festival is cancelled and refunds will be issued to all ticket holders.”

They also addressed the controversy surrounding the booking, adding that multiple stakeholders were consulted prior to confirming Ye as the headliner, while acknowledging the broader concerns tied to his past behavior.
The situation escalated quickly in the days leading up to the decision. Political leaders, advocacy groups, and major sponsors publicly pushed back against Ye’s involvement due to his history of antisemitic remarks. That pressure led to sponsors pulling out and increased scrutiny from government officials, ultimately resulting in the entry ban.

Wireless Festival, a staple in London’s Hip Hop scene since 2005, was expected to draw tens of thousands of fans for its annual summer event. What was supposed to be a major cultural moment, highlighted by Ye’s first U.K. performance in years, has now turned into one of the biggest festival cancellations in recent memory.

For fans, the fallout is immediate; refunds are being issued, and one of the most anticipated events on the 2026 calendar is off the table. For the industry, it’s another reminder of how quickly politics, public pressure, and artist controversy can collide and reshape a major event overnight.
As it stands, Wireless 2026 is no longer happening, and the ripple effects of this decision are likely to be felt well beyond London’s festival circuit.

Mary J. Blige & Janet Jackson Allegedly Had Early Friction Before Becoming Friends

Music producer Jimmy Jam is shedding light on a surprising early interaction between Mary J. Blige and Janet Jackson, suggesting their relationship did not start on the smoothest note.
During a recent appearance on the We Sound Crazy podcast, Jam recalled a candid moment involving Blige ahead of a private family event. At the time, he invited the singer to attend his son’s christening gathering at his home.

“Mary happened to be in town and we said Mary you should come to the house,” Jam said. “She said okay great… then she said who else gonna be there.

According to Jam, Blige’s tone shifted when she learned Jackson would also be in attendance.
“She said oh Janet… she said Janet wasn’t very nice to me when I met her,” Jam recalled. “I said really she said yeah… she was kind of… you know… wasn’t really that nice.”
Blige told Jam the encounter occurred during a meet-and-greet event. Jam, however, offered a different perspective based on his own experience.

“I said that’s not the place to meet people,” he explained. “But Mary the first time I met you you weren’t very nice to me.”
Jam recounted approaching Blige years earlier at a shopping center in Los Angeles.
“I said I went up to you and I just said hey I’m a huge fan,” he said. “And you just kind of looked at me and went…”

Blige, he said, was surprised by the story. Jam used the moment to emphasize that first impressions can be misleading.
“I said don’t take the first impression isn’t always what it is,” he added.
The dynamic between the two artists shifted later that same evening. Jam revealed he intentionally seated Blige next to Jackson during a formal dinner.
“She comes in and she’s a little late and she goes wait where am I sitting,” he said. “And I put it right next to…”

What followed was an unexpected turning point.
“Let’s just say a bottle of Cristal in, Mary comes up to me and she goes thank you, oh, thank you,” Jam said. “So she couldn’t be nicer.”
The story ultimately reflects a transformation from early friction to mutual respect. Jam pointed to a more recent public moment that underscored their evolved relationship.

“Fast all the way forward… Mary was getting the award… and Janet presented her with the award,” he said.
The moment, he suggested, symbolized how far the two had come.
While neither Blige nor Jackson has publicly addressed the anecdote, Jam’s story offers a rare glimpse into how initial misunderstandings in the music industry can evolve into lasting camaraderie.

Federal Judge Overturns Jam Master Jay Murder Conviction, Grants Release On Bond
A federal judge has overturned the murder conviction of Karl Jordan Jr. in the 2002 killing of Run-DMC's Jam Master Jay, allowing him to be released on a $1 million bond.
Judge LaShann DeArcy Hall made the ruling on Monday, citing a flaw in the prosecution's case that failed to prove a key element required for the conviction. Despite multiple witnesses identifying Karl Jordan Jr. as the shooter, the judge found that prosecutors did not sufficiently establish the motive behind the murder.

The original case hinged on the claim that the killing was drug-related, with prosecutors arguing that Jordan and co-defendant Ronald Washington sought retaliation after being cheated in a Baltimore drug deal months earlier. However, Judge Hall ruled that the government never adequately demonstrated this motive, an essential factor for the federal murder charge.

Though Jordan is a confirmed drug dealer, the judge emphasized that this alone did not prove the motive necessary for conviction. This decision comes nearly four years after his arrest and following over five years of detention in a Brooklyn federal facility.
During the hearing, the judge granted release on a $1 million bond, which was supported by seventeen of Jordan's family members and friends who pledged several homes as collateral. Judge Hall stressed the seriousness of the arrangement, warning that she would allow prosecutors to seize these assets if Jordan tried to flee.

"Y'all know I do not play," the judge said from the bench, underlining the importance of trust in the bond process. She further explained to Jordan that bond is fundamentally about personal integrity, telling him, "At the end of the day, bond is about you giving me your word." Jordan acknowledged his understanding, and the judge responded, "For me, my word is my bond." to which he replied, "Likewise."
Brooklyn federal prosecutors have until Friday to decide whether to appeal Judge Hall's bond decision to the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals. If they choose to appeal, the appellate court could overturn the release order and keep Jordan in custody.

If released, Jordan would be subject to location monitoring. Meanwhile, his co-defendant, Ronald Washington, still has his conviction intact and is awaiting sentencing related to the same murder case.
In addition to the Jam Master Jay case, Jordan faces unrelated drug charges, indicating ongoing legal challenges beyond the murder conviction.

The case had remained unsolved for nearly two decades until federal authorities announced arrests in 2020, reigniting public attention on one of the unsolved murders in rap history.

Aaron Hall Faces Default Judgment After Ignoring Sexual Assault Lawsuit
Aaron Hall’s year-long dodge of a sexual assault lawsuit ended badly when a court ruled against him for refusing to respond.
Aaron Hall is facing serious legal consequences after ignoring a sexual assault lawsuit and failing to respond to court documents, resulting in a default judgment.

The R&B singer from Guy has been dodging legal accountability for years, but his luck finally ran out when a federal court ruled against him for his complete silence in the case brought by Liza Gardner.
Gardner alleges that Hall and Sean Diddy Combs sexually assaulted her in 1990 when she was just 16 years old following an MCA Records event, and she’s been fighting an uphill battle to hold him responsible ever since.

The journey to get Hall served with legal papers reads like a legal thriller.
Gardner’s legal team, led by attorney Tyrone Blackburn, spent over a year trying to locate the singer through newspaper advertisements, private investigators, and multiple attempts at various addresses.

Aaron Hall essentially vanished from public view, making it nearly impossible for process servers to find him and deliver the lawsuit documents.
That all changed on February 2, 2026, when a determined process server finally tracked him down at an Extended Stay America motel in Alpharetta, Georgia.

When the server informed Hall that he needed to deliver legal papers, Aaron Hall responded immediately and defiantly: “I ain’t doing that.”
He refused to accept the documents and attempted to close the door, but the server placed the papers at his feet, completing the service under civil procedure rules.

Despite being properly served with the Amended Complaint on February 2, Hall made a calculated decision to ignore the lawsuit entirely.
More than 21 days passed without any response, answer, or appearance from the singer.
Hall’s complete failure to engage with the legal process left Gardner’s team with no choice but to request a default judgment. The court granted the request on April 1, 2026, effectively ruling against Hall without requiring him to defend himself.

This is a devastating outcome because it means the court has already decided the case in Gardner’s favor based solely on his refusal to participate.
The default judgment carries serious ramifications for Hall. By ignoring the lawsuit, he’s essentially admitted to the allegations through his inaction.
The court can now proceed to determine damages without Hall having any opportunity to present his side of the story.

Michael Jackson’s Nephew Taj Jackson Claims Media Is ‘Desperately’ Pushing ‘BS Stories To Sabotage Biopic Success

Taj Jackson is speaking out as renewed media attention surrounding Michael Jackson continues ahead of the highly anticipated “Michael” biopic.
The singer and nephew of the late King of Pop took to social media to accuse tabloids and online critics of attempting to overshadow the film’s global momentum with negative narratives.

“Can’t help but notice that the negative press, trolls, and tabloids are desperately ramping up their BS stories and lies about my uncle to try and sabotage all the positive publicity the ‘Michael’ Movie is getting around the world,” Taj wrote.
He continued urging fans not to engage with the content, adding, “Please don’t contribute to their failing agenda. Don’t help them or their algorithm by clicking or reposting their lies.”

Taj’s comments arrive as excitement builds around the upcoming biopic, which has sparked widespread conversation about Michael Jackson’s legacy, influence, and enduring impact on music and pop culture worldwide.

‘GMA’ ended it's contract with Janai Norman and her exit leaves fans blindsided
The veteran weekend anchor, sidelined without a formal farewell, opens up about what she’s leaving behind — and what she’s gaining.

After 15 years at ABC News, Janai Norman is stepping away from Good Morning America — not by choice, and not on her own terms. In a heartfelt video message posted to Instagram on a Saturday, the weekend co-anchor addressed what she called a deeply painful exit, one that denied her even the chance to say a proper goodbye.
The announcement blindsided many loyal viewers who had come to depend on Norman’s warm, informed presence during weekend mornings. She had co-anchored the Saturday and Sunday editions of GMA, and her decade-and-a-half tenure encompassed some of the most consequential news cycles in recent American history.

In her Instagram video, Norman — 36 years old — expressed deep grief over how her time at the network came to a close. She had hoped for more runway to wrap things up properly and said it was painful that the end came so swiftly. She was transparent about missing the chance to connect with co-workers and longtime viewers one final time, calling it something that truly broke her heart.

Her final caption on the post carried a quiet dignity: she noted she had read every message sent her way and expressed deep gratitude for the outpouring of support, adding that more would be shared when the time was right.
Reports surfaced on April 2 that ABC had declined to renew Norman’s contract. According to a source familiar with the situation, she had been aware since early March that her contract would not be extended, yet continued showing up to work with full professionalism and no disruption. It was only after the news leaked publicly that she was pulled from the air — weeks before her contract was set to formally expire in early May.

The circumstances underscored a broader tension in broadcast media: talent often endures a kind of institutional silence even when their professional fate has already been decided behind closed doors.

Norman joined ABC News in 2011 as an intern with NewsOne, a grassroots beginning that would eventually lead to one of the most visible seats in morning television. Along the way, she built her reputation at local television stations in Columbia, Mo.; Tulsa, Okla.; and Orlando, Fla., before earning her place on the national stage.

Her contributions to GMA were wide-ranging. She hosted the popular “Pop News” segment on weekend editions and played an instrumental role in the October 2019 launch of the second hour of the Saturday show. As a correspondent, she reported across the full spectrum — politics, entertainment and sports — and was on the ground covering the Black Lives Matter protests following the murder of George Floyd, as well as the sweeping disruptions of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Amid the disappointment, Norman found a way to frame a silver lining — one that resonated immediately with working parents. She noted that her weekend schedule had consumed her children’s entire lives up to this point, and that now, for the first time, they would simply get more of her. She described that trade as worth everything.

The mother of three’s words struck a chord far beyond the television industry. They touched on a tension that many working parents know well: the invisible cost of professional commitment, measured not in hours but in missed weekend mornings. Norman’s willingness to name that cost — and reframe it as a gift — left a lasting impression on the many viewers who have already followed her off the air and onto her next chapter.

Patriots Coach Mike Vrabel & NFL Reporter Dianna Russini Speak Out After Photos Show Them Embracing at Sedona Resort

Mike Vrabel and Dianna Russini are both speaking out after photos have surfaced of them spending time together at a Sedona resort.
The 50-year-old New England Patriots head coach and the 43-year-old New York Times NFL reporter, who are both married to other people, are denying any romantic involvement with each other.
Page Six has published photos of Mike and Dianna embracing, hugging, and holding hands while vacationing at the Ambiente resort two weekends ago in Sedona, Arizona.

Eyewitnesses spotted Mike and Dianna having breakfast together, lounging next to each other in a hot tub, laying out by the pool, and checking out views from the rooftop of a bungalow. Sources claim that they were together all weekend with no other guests, but insiders close to Mike and Dianna are insisting they were with friends.

They have both released statements amid the release of the photos.
Mike told Page Six, “These photos show a completely innocent interaction and any suggestion otherwise is laughable. This doesn’t deserve any further response.”
Dianna told the outlet, “The photos don’t represent the group of six people who were hanging out during the day. Like most journalists in the NFL, reporters interact with sources away from stadiums and other venues.”

Dianna‘s boss at The Athletic is also speaking out. Steven Ginsberg said, “These photos are misleading and lack essential context. These were public interactions in front of many people. Dianna is a premier journalist covering the NFL and we’re proud to have her at the Athletic.”

Mike has been married to his wife Jen for more than 25 years and they share two children.
Dianna married Shake Shack executive Kevin Goldschmidt in 2020 and they are parents to two kids as well.

'Heated Rivalry' Creator Speaks Out About Racism Against Hudson Williams, Teases Major Season 2 News
Heated Rivalry creator Jacob Tierney is speaking out. He gave a new interview with two notable pieces of info for fans of the Crave/HBO Max hit, starring Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie.
If you don’t recall, a few weeks ago Hudson and his co-star Francois Arnaud posted the same message to their Instagram Stories, slamming all of the so-called “fans” that have been sending hateful messages to them.

They wrote: “Don’t call yourself a fan if you share racist/homophobic/biphobic/misogynistic/ageist/ableist/parasocial/bigoted comments of any kind. None of us need your hateful ‘love,’” they said. “We all respect and support and love each other and are on the same side. If you can’t accept that [get the f--k out of here].”

Jacob addressed some of the racism and messages the cast have been receiving.
Jacob told Deadline, “We didn’t expect any of this attention or reaction from a public that might not exist at all. We’ve learned a lot [since the show aired], and there’s a lot to think about moving forward in terms of the fandom and all that comes with it, negative and positive.”

“We have a non-white lead. I think that’s f-kin’ important. We can learn a few lessons out of that: you don’t need to be making an Asian show to have an Asian lead. Hudson’s a f-king star, man,” he added.
He also teased something big about season two. While it’s expected to cover the events of “The Long Game,” which is the sixth book in the Rachel Reid series, it looks like Jacob is being a little coy about how much will be covered in season two.
“Who said I’m doing it all? There’s a lot of material,” Jacob said when asked, alluding that some of “The Long Game” could be pushed into future seasons of the show.

Season two will begin filming in August and debut in April 2027.

DL Whisperer Says He’s in Solitary Confinement During Ts Madison Threat Case, Pleads “I Really, Really Need Y’all”

The man known online as the DL Whisperer is breaking his silence from behind bars as his legal situation tied to Ts Madison continues to unfold.
In a video posted to Instagram, the social media personality says he is currently being held in isolation while dealing with the fallout from his arrest over an alleged protective order violation. “I’m fighting for my freedom right now… I’m sitting in solitary confinement,” he says in the clip. “I really, really need y’all… I cannot do this alone.”

The case stems from a series of videos he allegedly recorded while driving past Ts Madison’s residence, where he is accused of making threatening remarks. Those posts quickly became a key factor in the protective order filed against him.

Even with the accusations mounting, he is pushing back against the narrative. He denies any wrongdoing and suggests his current treatment while in custody is unjust. His message, however, leans less defensive and more forward-looking.
“Eventually, I will be free. And we’re going to be back to doing what I was doing before,” he says toward the end of the video, signaling confidence despite the legal pressure.

As the case develops, the situation continues to draw attention online, especially as questions build around accountability, online behavior, and how far digital conflicts can go once they cross into real life.

Donald Trump Hits Pause on War, Orders Sudden Two Week Freeze on Iran Bombing
Donald Trump is pressing pause on military action against Iran, announcing a two-week suspension of U.S. bombing that could mark a turning point in a rapidly escalating conflict. The Iran ceasefire arrives at a moment where both pressure and positioning are colliding, and the timing is doing just as much talking as the decision itself.

The move followed direct conversations with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who urged Trump to hold off on further strikes while negotiations continued. While some may read the pause as a step back, Trump made it clear he sees it as leverage. He emphasized that U.S. forces have already achieved their intended objectives, framing the halt not as hesitation but as a controlled shift toward closing a deal.

In a post shared on Truth Social, Trump called the agreement a “double sided CEASEFIRE,” adding that the United States has “met and exceeded all Military objectives.” He also disclosed that Iran presented a 10 point proposal, which he described as a “workable basis” for negotiations. According to Trump, most of the major sticking points that have defined U.S.-Iran tensions for years have already been addressed in ongoing discussions.

That two-week window now carries weight far beyond a simple pause. If a deal is finalized, it could reshape diplomatic dynamics across the Middle East and shift how both nations engage moving forward. However, if talks collapse, the temporary silence could quickly give way to renewed strikes, raising questions about whether this pause was progress or just a strategic breather.
