#RHOBH: Garcelle Beauvais on RHOBH Reunion Fight With Dorit Kemsley: ‘It’s Just About Awareness’
Following their tense confrontation on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 13 reunion, is there any hope of Garcelle Beauvais and Dorit Kemsley ever being friends again?
“I’m sure that somewhere down the line, I think we can get to a friendship,” Garcelle said on March 8. “But … I can’t control somebody’s life. So I’m going to meet people where they’re at. If you choose to be ignorant, I’m not going to stoop to your level. But I see you, and I’ll deal with you as such.” Powerful words, Garcelle.
During the reunion, Garcelle called out Dorit for her “unconscious Karen behavior,” as well as her cultural insensitivity.
Garcelle had backup for calling out Dorit’s lack of sensitivity. One of the only other non-white co-stars, Crystal Kung Minkoff, objected to Dorit calling her a “child bride” during a confessional. In the Asian community, the practice of taking child brides was historically used as a cover for pedophilia. It’s very understandable that Crystal would be offended by the term, and Garcelle agreed with her.
“I think the whole thing with Crystal also sort of solidified what I was saying,” the Haitian actress told E! News. “I think it’s just about awareness. That’s all. I’m not saying you should know everything about everyone, but there should be some kind of awareness there. I would hope somebody would do that.”
“To me, if I said something that was off-color, they’d be like, ‘Hey, you don’t say that. You don’t do that,'” Garcelle added. “I mean, that’s what friends are for.”
There’s nothing wrong with educating someone about a culture or community that they may not be aware of. Friends don’t let friends use microaggressions, or be flat-out bigoted.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 13 concludes Wednesday, March 13, at 8/7c on Bravo.
#MusicNews: Dolly Parton Is "Very Excited" About Beyoncé Possibly Covering "Jolene" For 'RENAISSANCE ACT II'
Beyoncé is set to release her next project, RENAISSANCE ACT II, on March 29, and Dolly Parton has hinted that it might include a cover of one of her hit songs.
Parton shared her enthusiasm for Beyoncé’s venture into country music with Knox News. Regarding the speculation that the Houston native has collaborated with Parton or covered one of her songs for the upcoming album, the country legend stated, “Well, I think she has! I think she’s recorded ‘Jolene,’ and I think it’s probably gonna be on her country album, which I’m very excited about that. I love her! She’s a beautiful girl and a great singer.”
While it remains unconfirmed whether Beyoncé will feature “Jolene” as a cover or sample — or even include it at all — Parton expressed high hopes. “We’ve kind of sent messages back and forth through the years,” she said. “She and her mother were like fans, and I was always touched that they were fans, and I always thought she was great.”

The Tennessee-born country giant previously voiced her support for Beyoncé after “TEXAS HOLD ‘EM” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. The music icon became the first Black woman to achieve the feat.
On Instagram, the “9 to 5” hitmaker wrote, “I’m a big fan of Beyoncé and very excited that she’s done a country album. So congratulations on your Billboard Hot Country No. 1 single. Can’t wait to hear the full album!” Additionally, the record earned her a No. 1 on the Hot 100, marking her 13th time atop the chart to date, which includes her songs with Destiny’s Child.
“TEXAS HOLD ‘EM” came out alongside “16 CARRIAGES” on Feb. 11. It served as Beyoncé’s first foray into the genre and opened a realm of new possibilities in terms of collaborations. In particular, producer Killah B sparked speculation that Taylor Swift might contribute to RENAISSANCE ACT II.
“You guys gonna have to wait and see,” he told TMZ. “Let’s just say she is on the approach of shocking the world. I’ll let your imagination decide what that means.”
#HipHopNews: Ye Says "F**k Drake," "F**k Adidas," And More After "CARNIVAL" Goes No. 1 On The Hot 100 Chart
Ye, the artist formerly known as Kanye West, and Ty Dolla Sign’s “CARNIVAL” went No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 yesterday (March 11). The track, which featured Playboi Carti and Rich The Kid, marked the Chicago native’s fifth single to top the chart. Additionally, it made him the first rapper to have a No. 1 record in three different decades.
Ye celebrated the feat with a lengthy Instagram post calling out his perceived adversaries. The original caption read, “Rich, Ty, Carti, and the supporters that stood by us through everything, this No. 1 is for you. It’s for the people who won’t be manipulated by the system. And f**k Adidas and everybody who works there or with them. Anyone who goes to school with anyone [whose] parents work at Adidas, just know they tried to destroy me, and here we are with the No. 1 song in the world.”
He continued, “And f**ck everybody at the fashion houses that sided with [Gabriella Karefa-Johnson] and Hailey Bieber. F**k each and every single one of y’all. And f**k every so-called Christian, and so-called friend, or so-called family member that watched me have my kids taken out of my control.”
Karefa-Johnson notably criticized Ye for his “White Lives Matter” T-shirts, which appeared during the artist’s YZY SZN 9 runway show in 2022. Hailey, who is married to Justin Bieber, was among the celebrities who came to the fashion editor’s defense.
Elsewhere in Ye’s tirade, he wrote, “That’s how I feel. And it’s f**k Drake for taking [Lil] Durk right at the beginning of the [VULTURES rollout]. I’ll come back to y’all if I think of more f**k you’s.”
As previously reported, Durk joined Drake and J. Cole’s “It’s All a Blur Tour — Big As The What?” in February. The Toronto native made the announcement on Feb. 5, just days before Ye debuted VULTURES 1 on Feb. 10. The “Heartless” hitmaker hosted several listening events around that time in promotion of the project.
#RIP: Legendary LGBTQ And HIV/AIDS activist David Mixner dies at 77
Longtime LGBTQ+ activist David Mixner, who was a leader in the fight for social change and equality, has died, LGBTQ+ Victory Fund President and CEO Annise Parker announced.
“David was a courageous, resilient and unyielding force for social change at a time when our community faced widespread discrimination and an HIV/AIDS crisis ignored by the political class in Washington, DC.,” Parker said.
“In 1987, David joined one of the first HIV/AIDS protests outside the Reagan White House, where police wore latex gloves because of the stigma and misinformation around HIV/AIDS. He was arrested, along with 64 others, and made national headlines, when being an out person could lead to harassment, violence or worse. But David was undeterred.”
Mixner cofounded the LGBTQ+ Victory fund in 1991, a group that exclusively supported LGBTQ+ political candidates, Parker said.
“He pushed the presidential campaign of Bill Clinton to be inclusive of gay people – and was asked to join the campaign’s National Executive Committee – the first time an out LGBTQ+ person held a public facing presidential campaign role,” Parker said.
“When President Clinton won, David launched Victory’s Presidential Appointments Program, pushing the administration to appoint LGBTQ+ people to key political positions. That work continues to this day.”
In a 2021 interview, Mixner recounted how he was able to convince conservative Ronald Reagan to oppose Proposition 6, a 1978 state initiative to ban gay school teachers in public schools. Reagan came out against the initiative in a newspaper column three days after they met with him, Mixner said
New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy called Mixner an “icon.”
“David Mixner was a trailblazer for the LGBTQIA+ community, and a son of Salem County, who dedicated his life to building a more equitable world for every American. He was an icon, a true champion for justice, and a close personal friend. We will miss him dearly.”
GLAAD President and CEO Sarah Kate Ellis echoed the outpouring of praise for Mixner in a statement.
“David changed the world forever and equality would not be where it is today without his leadership, passion, and immense heart and humor,” Ellis said.
“He dedicated his life to our community and now we must strive to live up to his legacy.”
Lenny Kravitz Honored With Hollywood Walk of Fame Star
Musician, actor and fashion icon Lenny Kravitz was honored Tuesday with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Kravitz shot to fame in the 1990s, ultimately winning four Grammy awards and releasing 11 albums. He was nominated this year to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
"As a teenager I spent a lot of time walking up and down Hollywood Boulevard seeing the names of all my idols," Kravitz recalled during Tuesday's ceremony. "I never dreamt about having a star. I was usually just looking for a place to crash. But I did dream about making the music I wanted and doing my own thing."
Kravitz was joined on stage by Zoe Kravitz - his daughter with ex-wife Lisa Bonet - who poked fun at his fashion choices.
"I've seen the way you show up and take care of the people you love," she said. "I've seen your incredible dedication to your art - but mostly, I've seen through your shirts."
He was also joined on stage by Denzel Washington.
"God has blessed him with an unbelievable talent but even more so an unbelievable heart," Washington said.
Kravitz landed many hits over his career but is perhaps best known for "It Ain't Over 'til It's Over," "Always on the Run," "Are You Gonna Go My Way" and "Fly Away."

"This isn't my star," he told the crowd. "This is our star. Thank you all for this and let love rule."
Keke Palmer Clarifies Comments About Retirement Being “Around The Corner”
Keke Palmer fans can breathe a sigh a relief, as the child-turned-adult star has no plans of retiring anytime soon, despite previous remarks about retirement being “around the corner.”
During a chat with People, Palmer, 30, clarified the remarks made during a January interview with Teen Vogue, sharing, “People took that literally, but I was thinking in like 20 years!” she said of her “around the corner” remark.
“But also, what I will say is I meant a different type of ‘slowing down.’ I think there’s a version of me that really wants to do more producing, that really wants to do more directing, that wants to do even more work, not only in front of the camera,” she further explained. “I’ll be still doing stuff, but I don’t know if I’m going to always want to be doing three movies a year. That’s amazing. Thank God I am doing that. But I don’t know if I always want to be doing it at that level or that way.”
When initially asked about retirement by Teen Vogue, The Emmy winning actress asserted that “the timer has started,” adding, “I think it’s because I just haven’t felt it yet. But the timer, I know that it’s around the corner. I don’t know when exactly, but it’s around the corner.”
The singer went on to speak on the legacies she hopes to leave when it is time for to hang it up, sharing, “The main thing I want those legacies to be is [a call] to use your power for good, to use what you have to create spaces and systems for other people to thrive.”
Lil Cease Breaks Silence On Diddy Allegations
Sean “Diddy” Combs is currently in the midst of multiple sexual assault lawsuits, and many people have been curious as to what his affiliates have to say about what’s been going on. Lil Cease is the latest to break his silence on the situation, as TMZ recently caught up with the Junior M.A.F.I.A. rapper and asked him directly about Diddy.
“Do you think he’ll be able to get past this and live life normally again?” the reporter asked the “Crush On You” spitter.
The rapper responded with a hopeful attitude, saying, “Listen, anything’s possible. At the end of the day, a lot of things is accusations. We don’t know what’s true and what’s not. I’m not the one to say what’s true and what’s not.”
He concluded his answer by sending well wishes to everyone involved. “I hope everybody in both parties finds comfort and peace. That’s how I see it,” he stated.
The interview then shifted gears as Cease used the opportunity to plug some other projects he is working on. “I’m working on a memoir. There’s a documentary we’re working on, a M.A.F.I.A. documentary… We’ve got to tell our story and our trials and tribulations and our love for each other,” he said.
The initial question was prompted by a string of allegations sent Diddy’s way, which kicked off with Cassie’s lawsuit back in November 2023. The case was settled outside of court, however, multiple other women have since came forward seeking litigation for their traumatic experiences with the former REVOLT chairman.
In December 2023, the Bad Boy founder, Harve Pierre, and a third unidentified man were accused of gang-raping an unidentified woman at her Manhattan recording studio in 2003 when she was 17 years old. In February 2024, Lil Rod filed a sexual assault lawsuit against Diddy claiming he was forced to sit in the bathroom while the mogul showered naked, among several other accusations.
Toni Braxton Admits To Hesitating To Return To TV With 'The Braxtons' Following Traci's Passing
Toni Braxton shared her excitement for her family's TV return. In a new interview at the Elton John AIDS Foundation's Oscars viewing party, Toni revealed why her family decided to do "The Braxtons" following the death of Traci Braxton.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Toni said on Sunday, March 10, "You know, it's really important [because] we lost one of our sisters, she wanted us to do this show again, and we were hesitant at first." She added, "But we said, 'We're gonna do it for Traci.' "
The singer/TV star further opened up, "What's really important about doing our show is [telling] real stories about family. And I think when people see our stories, maybe we can help them in having a loss in the family."
Toni shared that she and her family, including sisters Towanda Braxton, Trina Braxton and Tamar Braxton, as well as mom Dr. Evelyn Braxton, are set to heal from the grief on the upcoming series. "Everyone has had at loss in their families, and for us, it was our first and it's been difficult to deal with," Toni divulged.
"But we've had so many people, so many fans, welcoming us, so that part helps us. I don't think people realize how much they're helping us," she noted, adding that they "just started shooting last week."
Traci passed away on March 12, 2022 at the age of 50 following a battle with esophageal cancer. During her virtual appearance on "The Tamron Hall Show", Toni addressed the passing of her sister.
"I'm a rain girl, I love when it rains. My sister Traci, she loves when it snows, and she died that morning when it was actually pouring down snow in Virginia. So, my sister is now a snowflake," Toni said.
She added, "And her favorite bird was a hummingbird and I saw a hummingbird the other day, and it just kind of flew around and kind of suspended itself, and I was like, 'Traci?' and it started bumping and going up and down. So, that made me feel so much better, I felt like she was trying to say hello to me."
"Her [Traci] and her son were so close, her and her grandson and her son's wife. We were just a big family. We were all there. Her son was there, husband was there, everyone was there. Her best friends were there, everyone was there with her. She had so much love," the Grammy-winning singer gushed.
She continued, "The hospice nurses were incredible. You never think that it's going to happen to you and your family. So, you have to remind yourself to enjoy the moments, be happy and it's okay if you fuss and fight, but just enjoy the moments and try to just smile and be happy. Be kind to one another."
'Black-Ish' Star Jenifer Lewis Nearly Died After Falling 10 Feet From Balcony
Jenifer Lewis has revealed harrowing details of a near-fatal accident she experienced during a trip to Africa in November 2022. In an interview with "Good Morning America" host Robin Roberts, the actress recalled falling 10 feet from a balcony into a ravine filled with boulders and sharp rocks.
The incident occurred at the start of her trip after the conclusion of the hit show "Black-ish". Lewis had planned to retire and embark on a global journey, including a visit to the Serengeti region of Africa. She had booked a hotel room with an infinity pool view, but shortly after checking in, her dream vacation turned into a nightmare.
Lewis explained that she went out onto her balcony to admire the view when she suddenly fell. She described the area as unsectioned and lacking any warning signs. The impact left her with severe pain in her right hip and shoulder.
Despite her injuries, Lewis remained conscious but was unable to move. She called out to her friend for help, but when the woman returned with assistance, Lewis found herself alone in the darkness once more. According to Lewis, she heard a lion roar as her friend ran for help.
Lewis emphasized the physical and emotional toll the fall took on her. "It was hard even to take a big breath to scream," she said. She also feared for her life, joking that she envisioned a headline about her demise.
The complete interview with Robin Roberts will air on ABC on Tuesday evening at 8:30 p.m. EST. Lewis expressed her gratitude for being alive and emphasized the importance of valuing life after such a traumatic experience.
Wendy Williams' Manager Will Selby and Publicist Shawn Zanotti 'No Longer Working' With Ailing Star
Wendy Williams is "no longer working" with her manager Will Selby and publicist Shawn Zanotti, who starred alongside the ailing talk show host in the controversial Lifetime documentary, RadarOnline.com has learned.
It's been rumored that Zanotti has been out of the picture for a while; however, sources claimed her jeweler-turned-manager, Selby, is no longer connected to her professionally, although they are allegedly on speaking terms — and the split must have been recent because Selby confirmed to RadarOnline.com last week that he was still representing the star.
"Will had initially remained involved in Wendy's care, and he is one of the few people who knows where she is, but he's no longer working with her," an insider shared with The Sun. Interestingly enough, Selby told us that as of Thursday, February 22, he was still Williams' representative — just two days before the first two episodes of Where Is Wendy Williams? premiered.
RadarOnline.com contacted Will for comment but did not hear back by publication.
Will told RadarOnline.com last week that Wendy was still his client.
The same can't be said for Zanotti. Fans watched as she flew a confused Williams to Los Angeles for a meeting with NBCUniversal without informing anyone of the trip.
"Shawn was in hot water after she took Wendy to Los Angeles," the source revealed. Their professional relationship has allegedly been over nearly a year.
"The last time Shawn did any sort of work for Wendy was in May, as she still needed a publicist when she had to back out of her speaking gig at the Atlanta Women's Expo after being hospitalized," the insider spilled. "Shawn handled that fallout from the Expo, but she's been out of the picture ever since Wendy went into treatment this time."
X-Men ’97 creator Beau DeMayo reportedly fired by Marvel weeks before Premiere
Writer Beau DeMayo and Marvel parted ways before his new animated series is scheduled to premiere.
Marvel Studios has fired Beau DeMayo, the creator of the upcoming animated Disney Plus series X-Men ’97, according to The Hollywood Reporter. De Mayo previously produced and wrote for another Marvel show, Moon Knight, and has also worked on The Witcher, The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf, and Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. The firing reportedly occurred early last week, and neither Marvel nor DeMayo’s representatives commented on the decision to the outlet. Marvel has also not responded to The Verge’s request for comment.
The timing of DeMayo’s departure is unusual, given that X-Men ’97 is set to premiere on Disney Plus roughly a week from now, on March 20th. DeMayo is credited as the creator and executive producer of the show’s entire first season. He had even finished writing duties on an upcoming second season of X-Men ’97 and was in talks with his team about a third, THR reported.
X-Men ’97 continues the storyline of X-Men: The Animated Series, which aired from 1992 to 1997. Several of the original voice actors returned for the new series, including Lenore Zann (who plays Rogue), George Buza (Beast), Cal Dodd (Wolverine), Adrian Hough (Nightcrawler), Chris Britton (Mr. Sinister), and Chris Potter (Gambit).
DeMayo appears to have deleted his Instagram account, which featured regular updates about his work with Marvel. Also no longer active is his free, non-explicit OnlyFans account, which DeMayo created before his involvement with X-Men ’97.
Neve Campbell Will Play Sidney Prescott Again in Scream 7
It looks like Scream 7 is back on track in a big way, with original star Neve Campbell returning for the next movie in the franchise.
Campbell announced on Instagram today that she'll be reprising Sidney Prescott in the upcoming sequel, sharing a photo of the script. That photo also reveals that Kevin Williamson, who wrote the first Scream movie as well as Scream 2 and Scream 4, will be directing.
Williamson also confirmed the news on his Instagram. The photo lists Guy Busick, who worked on the fifth and sixth Scream movies, as a writer alongside James Vanderbilt. A source close to the situation tells IGN that Busick is taking over the screenwriting reins from Vanderbilt, as he's on location shooting his film Nuremberg.
We have also learned that Radio Silence (Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett), the directing duo behind the 2022 reboot of the franchise as well as Scream 6, are still on board to serve as executive producers.
"While I’ve been so incredibly lucky to make these films with both the master of horror Wes Craven and the wonderfully talented Matt and Tyler team, I’ve dreamt for many years of how amazing it would be to make one of these movies with Kevin Williamson at the helm," Campbell said in her Instagram post. "And now it’s happening, Kevin Williamson is going to direct Scream 7!"
After returning to the franchise for 2022's Scream, Campbell revealed that she wouldn't be in Scream 6, saying in an interview with People that her exit was due to a salary dispute. She explained that she received an offer that she felt "did not equate to the value" she has brought to the iconic horror franchise for 25 years.
It was reported last year, however, that filmmakers were trying to get Campbell back following the news that leads Jenna Ortega and Melissa Barrera would not be in Scream 7.
Christopher Landon had previously taken over directing duties for Scream 7. He exited the role, however, as a number of controversies intensified surrounding the sequel, saying last December that it was "a dream job that turned into a nightmare."
Landon's statement, of course, alludes to the firestorm of controversy that broke out surrounding Scream 7, which at one point seemed to be a dead project entirely.
In November, Barrera, who played one half of the Carpenter sisters that were the focus of the rebooted Scream movies, was fired from Scream 7. It was reported at the time that production company Spyglass Media Group made the decision due to various posts on Barrera's social media accounts regarding the conflict in Gaza. In the posts, she described the media's coverage about the conflict as one-sided in favor of Israel, among other comments about the conflict.
In a statement at the time, Spyglass said they "have zero tolerance for antisemitism or the incitement of hate in any form, including false references to genocide, ethnic cleansing, Holocaust distortion or anything that flagrantly crosses the line into hate speech.
In an Instagram post after the firing, however, Barrera said, "I condemn Anti-Semitism and Islamophobia. I condemn hate and prejudice of any kind against any group of people."
"As a latina, a proud Mexicana, I feel the responsibility of having a platform that allows me the privilege of being heard, and therefore I have tried to use it to raise awareness about issues I care about and to lend my voice to those in need," she added.
Shortly after that news broke, it was also revealed that Ortega would not be returning for Scream 7, reportedly due to scheduling conflicts with her Netflix hit Wednesday.
It's unclear where the story will go with the absence of both Carpenter sisters, but Campbell's return at least ensures some connection to previous entries.
A release date for Scream 7 has not yet been announced.
After being convicted of guilty of wire fraud, attempted wire fraud, and attempted extortion. Bishop Lamor Whitehead sends positive message.
According to The New York Times, a Manhattan jury found Bishop Lamor Whitehead guilty of wire fraud, attempted wire fraud, and attempted extortion on Monday (March 11). Prosecutors claimed that the Brooklyn religious leader falsified documents in an attempt to secure loans, scammed members of his congregation, and abused his friendship with Mayor Eric Adams for personal gain. Whitehead is scheduled to be sentenced on July 1 and could face decades in prison.
Yesterday, (March 12), the embattled leader -- who preached at the Leaders of Tomorrow International Ministries in Canarsie -- took to Instagram to share a positive message in light of his legal issues. "The story isn't over. It's just a new chapter," he wrote. "Stay tuned. God is still God. They can all laugh now and talk. After this, Jesus will still get the glory. Stay tuned for this new chapter called truth and vindication!"
Whitehead then hopped on a livestream to speak directly to his followers. "I want y'all to understand that God is still God," he began. "The enemy wants you to give up on God. Right? And I'm not gonna do that." He then stated he was innocent and the FBI wanted him to become an informant, which he said he emphatically refused to do. As his lawyer, Dawn Florio, stated to the media post-trial, Whitehead assured viewers that he would soon file an appeal.
As previously reported, the eccentric pastor and his wife were robbed in the middle of a church service back in 2022. "You have to lead your sheep and you have to protect your sheep. When I [saw] the armed men come in, it was specifically for me. It was specifically for me, and of course my wife," he explained at that time. "I told everybody get down. Everybody just get down. I didn’t know if they wanted to shoot the church up or if they were just coming for a robbery."
Matthew Perry's Will Names the Executors of His Estate and a $1 Million Trust with a Legendary Hollywood Link
According to a new legal filing, Perry noted in his will that he wanted to leave his belongings in the “Alvy Singer Living Trust,” which is named after Woody Allen’s character in 'Annie Hall'
More than four months after Matthew Perry’s death at the age of 54, details about the beloved Friends actor's will have emerged.
According to a legal filing obtained by PEOPLE, the will indicates that the majority of the late actor’s belongings will be placed in a trust with a legendary Hollywood link. The document — which Perry created in 2009 — notes that he wanted to leave his items in the “Alvy Singer Living Trust,” which is seemingly named after Woody Allen’s character in Annie Hall.
His father John Perry and mother Suzanne Morrison are named trust beneficiaries. Half-sister Caitlin Morrison and Rachel Dunn are also listed as beneficiaries.
Perry also indicated in his will that any children he had would not be entitled to access his estate. (The actor never had kids.)
The filing also indicates that Perry had over $1 million in personal property when he died, which is in addition to what his executors — Lisa Ferguson and Robin Ruzan — have already put in the living trust.
Perry died on Saturday, Oct. 28, 2023 at his Los Angeles home. He was 54. A spokesperson from the Los Angeles Fire Department told PEOPLE at the time they responded to a call at 4:07 p.m. that cited a “medical emergency.”
The actor's death was later revealed to be caused by acute effects of ketamine in an autopsy report obtained by PEOPLE in December. Drowning, coronary artery disease and buprenorphine effects (a medication used to treat opioid use disorder) were also listed as contributing factors in his death, which was ruled accidental.
The autopsy stated that Perry — who was "reportedly clean for 19 months" — was on ketamine infusion therapy, with his latest treatment taking place just "one and a half weeks before" his death. However, the coroner noted that "the ketamine in his system at death could not be from that infusion therapy, since ketamine's half-life is 3 to 4 hours, or less."
Prior to his death, Perry was outspoken about his struggle with addiction. In his 2022 memoir, Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing, he shared his sobriety journey.
“I wanted to share when I was safe from going into the dark side again,” he told PEOPLE at the time for a 2022 cover story. “I had to wait until I was pretty safely sober—and away from the active disease of alcoholism and addiction—to write it all down. I was pretty certain that it would help people if I did.”
Perry was best known for his role as Chandler Bing on the 90s sitcom, Friends. Throughout his career, he spoke highly of the role that brought him — and fellow cast members, Jennifer Aniston. Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer — breakout fame.
"It changed my life in every way. I got the show when I was a 24-year-old man; the show ended when I was 34. It formed my life. And it was the time of my life," Perry previously told PEOPLE.

*Former professional baseball player Darryl Strawberry recently revealed a harrowing health scare, disclosing that he suffered a heart attack on Monday evening.
However, thanks to the swift actions of medical professionals, his life was spared, and he is currently recuperating in a hospital.

Dak Prescott Files $100M ‘Extortion Plot’ Lawsuit Amid Sexual Assault Allegations
Dak Prescott of the Dallas Cowboys has filed a lawsuit and a criminal report against a woman who accused him of sexual assault.
According to his lawyers, she demanded $100 million to avoid reporting the accusation to the police, calling it an “extortion plot.”
Prescott’s lawyer, Levi McCarthern, stated in a Monday press release that the allegations of sexual assault against Prescott were “a completely fabricated story.”
“Mr. Prescott, a new father to a baby girl, has great empathy for survivors of sexual assault,” said his legal team. “He fervently believes that all perpetrators of such crimes should be punished to the fullest extent of the law. To be clear, Mr. Prescott has never engaged in any nonconsensual sexual conduct with anyone.”
The woman, identified as Victoria Shores, claimed in a letter that Dak Prescott sexually assaulted her in 2017, following the end of his rookie NFL season, stating he directed her to the back of a black SUV where he exposed himself.
Shores allegedly told Prescott she “did not want to engage in sexual intercourse and made sure to verbalize her wishes.”
“At this point,” the letter alleges, “you used physical force and sexually assaulted (the woman) by penetrating her vagina against her consent.”
“Despite the tragic events, she is willing to forego pursuing criminal charges, along with disclosing this information to the public, in exchange for compensating her for the mental anguish she has suffered.”
Her lawyers are demanding $100 million from Prescott, while his lawsuit accuses the woman and her legal team of attempting to extort him with “patently false, yet heinous sexual assault allegations with no basis in reality.”
“Defendants’ horrible lies not only threaten to destroy the legitimate legacy of a great man and cost him tens of millions of dollars, but Defendants’ conduct is criminal,” the suit argues. “Further, Mr. Prescott is forced to file the instant case to bring the truth to light, defend his new family, and promote our society’s collective progress in support of legitimate survivors of sexual assault. … the Defendant’s false claims undermine the courage of actual sexual assault survivors everywhere, as well as the legitimacy of the horrific traumas they have endured,” the press release states.
According to the press release, Prescott will give any money received from the lawsuit to the Joyful Heart Foundation, a nonprofit that helps sexual assault survivors.
