#MAGFAB: Kendrick Lamar For Harper's Bazaar!
The artist has consistently pushed hip-hop to new heights. In advance of his Super Bowl performance, he gets personal with friend and collaborator SZA.

It’s a warm August night in Santa Monica, and Kendrick Lamar is sitting on a low sofa in a hotel suite as the sun sets behind him, very carefully speaking to SZA and me. It’s more than a little surreal to have Lamar, the closest thing this era of hip-hop has to a truth teller, leaning forward and looking intently first into SZA’s face, then mine, saying things like “I do believe in love and war, and I believe they both need to exist.”

Lamar and SZA are, of course, two of the world’s biggest superstars, used to commanding stadiums full of fans. Lamar is the MC who many would argue keeps the soul of hip-hop alive. We are one year removed from the 50th anniversary of hip-hop, and the genre that once signified rebellion and artistic freedom has settled into its current iteration as the lingua franca of corporations and the American empire with barely a pang of conscience. Amid all this, Lamar remains a rarity: a true artist interested in exploring the limits of self-expression and creativity. He makes personal records about regret, family trauma, and desire even as he consistently captures the zeitgeist.

A dizzyingly fantastical lyricist, he has consistently challenged himself, first with his debut album, 2011’s Section.80, and continuing with good kid, m.A.A.d city. In 2018, he won a Pulitzer Prize for his album DAMN, the first time a work outside of classical or jazz traditions was honored. Early next year, he will be headlining Super Bowl LIX.
For this issue, only the fifth time this magazine has put a man alone on the cover, Lamar wanted SZA to interview him. It’s a move that makes sense when, later on, Lamar explains that he processes information best through connections with others. The two are former labelmates who toured together as they were coming up. In 2018, their song “All the Stars” was featured in Black Panther (Lamar also produced the soundtrack) and was later nominated for Grammy, Golden Globe, and Academy awards.

Lamar arrives first, in baggy knee-length chino board shorts, a yellow hoodie, and a fitted cap splashed with a slogan about the beach. He asks me a few polite questions about my trip to L.A., but I get the distinct feeling he isn’t the type to engage in small talk—a feeling confirmed when SZA herself arrives a few moments later in a cloud of perfume. She smells a bit like the incense booths on the corners in Harlem, but more luxurious, and she’s wearing a designer version of the stretch pants that inspired memes about sundress season versus fall season. She folds into a low velvet armchair, and before anyone else can speak, she turns to Lamar and says, “Are you mentally ill?” Lamar’s face lights up and he laughs.

“For what I DO, there is certainly no GROWTH without VULNERABILITY.”
So kicks off an hour-and-a-half conversation in which the artists talk about fear, spirituality, parenting, and creation. These are two creative supernovas, but in person, in this suite with burnt-orange walls, with the lamps turned so low that I can see the moonlight from outside the window reflecting off SZA’s high cheekbones, it becomes apparent that their star power derives less from stage tricks or media manipulations and more from the intensity of deeply curious, wildly magnetic personalities. Lamar speaks in almost a hush, forcing SZA and me to lean closer to catch his words. SZA, in contrast, speaks in bubbling bursts that make Lamar laugh.

At a certain point, as the summer air rolls through the open patio doors, the whole thing takes on the distinct vibe of a late-night ramble—the kind of free-flowing conversation you might overhear between two friends in the front seat of the car while you’re in the back, slightly stoned and cruising through the night.

#RHOA: Ya Girl Phaedra Parks eliminated from ‘Dancing with the Stars’
A Georgia peach has fallen on ‘Dancing with the Stars.’ “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Phaedra Parks and her partner Val Chmerkovskiy were eliminated during Disney Night on Tuesday on Channel 2.
Parks and Chmerkovskiy brought “101 Dalmatians” to life as they danced to “Cruella De Vil” for a score of 24 out of 30, which landed them in a four-way tie for the bottom of the leaderboard.

Former NBA star and Atlanta Hawk Dwight Howard and his partner Daniella Karagach were also part of that tie with their 24 out of 30 for a tango to “When Can I See You Again?” from “Wreck-It Ralph.”

After the eight remaining celebrities and their partners competed on their own, they spilt up into teams of four for a group dance.
Parks and Howard were joined by former NFL star Danny Amendola and Olympian Stephen Nedoroscik for the group dance round to “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King” from “The Lion King,” which scored another 24 out of 30.

Parks, Howard and Nedoroscik all ended the night with a final score of 48 out of 60 for a tie at the bottom of the leaderboard.

#HipHopNews: Ye Gets Fans Excited For 'BULLY' With The Official Cover Art
Ye’s forthcoming solo album, BULLY, might be coming a lot sooner than fans expected. On Wednesday (Oct. 23), the “All Falls Down” rapper shared the official artwork, which arrived in black-and-white.
The image was shot by Japanese photographer Daid艒 Moriyama and featured someone smiling, possibly wearing Ye’s custom grillz. He previously debuted the titanium mouthpiece in January. It notably drew inspiration from Richard Kiel’s Jaws from 1977’s The Spy Who Loved Me.

“Three albums in one year. Amazing,” wrote one fan in the comments section. A separate Instagram user said, “God, I lived long enough to see this.” Another reply read, “I better hear Yuno Miles on the first song on the album,” seemingly referencing the meme rapper not making the final cut on VULTURES 2 track “BOMB.”

So far, BULLY has been teased with unofficial singles “BEAUTY AND THE BEAST” and “PREACHER MAN,” both of which were first previewed in Haikou, China.
It’s also worth mentioning that Ye previously referenced his grillz on a remix of Future and Metro Boomin’s “Like That.” In addition to taking jabs at Drake and J. Cole, the Chicago native dished out lines like, “Five hundred down on the bottom, five hundred up at the top/ Titanium grillz, call that ‘smile on the rocks.’”

Ye has a notorious history of scrapping projects. Yandhi was expected to come out in 2018 as a follow-up to the artist’s self-titled effort, but it never saw the light of day. Meanwhile, Turbo Grafx 16 was seemingly scheduled for a 2016 release, as teased by former collaborator Pete Rock.

That being said, fans are also curious whether Ye and Ty Dolla Sign’s VULTURES 3 is still on the bill for 2024. The previous two installments of their album series were shared much later than expected, with VULTURES 2 potentially losing out on the No. 1 spot of the Billboard 200 chart due to constant pushbacks.

Glen “Big Baby” Davis Issues Farewell Video En Route To Prison

Former NBA player Glen “Big Baby” Davis issued his last video to his fans before he went away to prison. On Tuesday (Oct. 22), Davis took to his Instagram Story, where he uploaded his final clip, featuring a caption communicating where he’ll be locked up in Minnesota and his P.O. Box number. “Big Baby” looked teary-eyed as he threw up a peace sign and told his 118K followers to “be good.”

In October 2021, a federal judge previously sentenced Glen Davis to 40 months in prison after he was found guilty of defrauding the NBA’s health care benefits plan, making false statements, and multiple fraud charges. As a result, Davis was ordered to pay $80,000 in restitution. The NBA Champion will also be required to have a three-year supervised release. Per ESPN, “Big Baby” will need to attend “a financial management class and receive mandatory drug treatment” as a part of his sentencing.

But Davis wasn’t the only one involved in the scheme as 18 former players, such as Terrence Williams and Keyon Dooling, were sentenced for filing claims through the NBA Players’ Health and Benefit Welfare Plan.
Since being indicted in the case, Glen Davis has steadily maintained his innocence, claiming that the accusations were false. However, during the hearing, the ex-athlete could be seen taking the trial hard, burying his face in his hands, and even making faces in disbelief.

Prior to his sentencing, Davis’ contemporaries wrote letters to get the former player’s sentence reduced. Ex-Golden State Warriors star and NBPA executive director Andre Iguodala penned a missive to the court, saying, “On behalf of all of our NBPA members past and present, I respectfully ask that you consider Glen’s accomplishments and the positive impact he has had on those around him when determining his sentence. I recognize the seriousness of this legal matter and appreciate the thoroughness of the judicial process and ask for leniency with these factors in mind.”

The ex-Boston Celtic pleaded with the court in an effort to take it easy on him for his wrongs. He claimed that he lost his way in life after he retired from basketball in 2014. “When I lost basketball, I lost myself,” he told the judge. “I ask you, your honor, to help me get back to who I am.”

‘The Jerry Springer Show’ Documentary Set To Release On Netflix In 2025

The Jerry Springer Show is getting the documentary treatment, and the “jaw-dropping” project is coming soon. Variety reports that two-part documentary Jerry Springer: Fights, Camera, Action will be released on Netflix on January 7, 2025.

The forthcoming documentary will explore Springer’s “trashy” TV show with “first-hand testimony and revelations from show insiders” as they look to “uncover a murkier picture” and “the destruction it caused.”
A press release for the news asserts that the documentary is set upon starting a new dialogue about Springer’s show and the power dynamics of how the talk show worked. Fights, Camera, Action also promises to ask “renewed questions about who was responsible, and how far things should go in the name of entertainment.”

The outlet reports that Minnow Films is behind the creation of Jerry Springer: Fights, Camera, Action, with Luke Sewell directing the Netflix documentary. Sophie Jones, Alicia Kerr, and Sophie Leonard serve as the docs’ executive producers, while Catherine Murnane is on as producer.

The Jerry Springer Show hit the airwaves in the early 90s, running from 1991 to 2018, causing mayhem for 27 seasons. Springer’s program became known for its unapologetic direction, with people airing out their grievances in front of a live studio audience. The show’s drama stemmed from issues like racism, infidelity, incest, abuse, bestiality, S&M, and much, much, much more. Other memorable moments included the fan-favorite “Jerry Beads” segment, where women would flash their breasts on air and rewarded beads 脿 la Mardi Gras.

Five years after the show ended, Jerry Springer died after being diagnosed with cancer in 2023.
“Jerry’s ability to connect with people was at the heart of his success in everything he tried whether that was politics, broadcasting or just joking with people on the street who wanted a photo or a word,” Jene Galvin, a representative for his family, added in a statement via WLWT5 Cincinnati. “He’s irreplaceable and his loss hurts immensely, but memories of his intellect, heart and humor will live on.”

Colin Kaepernick Says He Hasn’t Watched An NFL Game In 8 Years: ‘I’m Not Gonna Support In That Way’
Former NFL star Colin Kaepernick isn’t letting up on his protest of the league.
During an appearance at the WSJ Tech Live Conference in California this week, the 36-year-old was asked if he’s watching “the NFL much lately,” to which he responded:
“I haven’t watched a game in 8 years.”
Noting that he “still checks” player’s stats, however, he continued:

“It also informs who my agent reaches out to…I don’t ever turn a game on though, because I’m not gonna support in that way, but I need to keep my finger on the pulse of what’s happening with quarterbacks out there.”
Colin Kaepernick hasn’t played a game in the league professionally since 2016. The former San Francisco 49ers QB was allegedly pushed out after he began kneeling on national TV games in protest of police violence against minorities in the country.

He settled a grievance with the NFL in 2019 after accusing team owners of colluding to keep him out of the league over the matter.
Despite it being several years since his exit, Colin Kaepernick said he keeps himself prepared in case he gets another opportunity to become a starting quarterback again. He stated:

“I still wake up every morning and train….I get up at 3:30 a.m. and I start my workday and then I go do my training… I still train every day, I still train the way I was when I was playing, making sure that I’m ready at any given moment.”

Shaquille O’Neal & Charles Barkley React To Bronny James’ NBA Debut: ‘He Should Be In The G League’

Former NBA stars-turned-“Inside the NBA” analysts Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley have some constructive criticism for NBA rookie Bronny James.
Ahead of Bronny’s debut with the L.A. Lakers yesterday (October 22nd), Barkley predicted that the eldest of superstar #LebronJames’ children isn’t ready to play alongside his dad.

He stated:“Bronny is a prospect. Number one, I am glad he’s healthy. I think he should be in the G League. He’s not ready to play in the NBA right now…I think to take the pressure off him and let him get better as a player, he should be in the G League.”
After the father-son duo made history becoming the first to ever play on the court together, Barkley added:Great moment, great accomplishment…Would have loved to see him play more. Now this [debut] is over. I think he focuses on getting better.”

A report from PEOPLE notes that Bronny, who suffered a cardiac arrest last year before being drafted to the Lakers, only played about three minutes at the Crypto.com Arena, missing two shots and securing one rebound during his short time on the court. In the end, the Lakers won over the #Timberwolves, 110-103.

Following the game, O’Neal shared his thoughts on Bronny, stating:“He’s not going to be in the starting lineup, he’s probably not going to be in the second lineup but if I’m him I’m working somehow to get some type of rotation to get some type of flow. Again, because of his last name we want him to be great but as LeBron said there are 450 of us [playing in the NBA] and there are only a few rookies that have come in and had a great impact immediately. [I’ve] known the kid a long time…He works hard, he’s willing to learn so I wish him well. But great accomplishment for the James family.”

'Tarzan' Actor Ron Ely Dies At 86
Ron Ely, the tall and muscular actor who embodied the legendary character Tarzan on NBC's 1960s TV series, has died at his home in California at the age of 86. His daughter Kirsten Casale Ely confirmed the news on Wednesday, September 29, but did not disclose the cause or date of death.

Ely, who stood at an impressive 6-foot-4, played the role of Tarzan for two seasons, from 1966 to 1968. In interviews, he revealed that he performed his own stunts for the show, working closely with wild animals such as tigers and chimpanzees.

Beyond the Tarzan role, Ely had a versatile career in Hollywood. He starred in the 1975 action film "Doc Savage: The Man of Bronze" and made guest appearances on popular television shows such as "Wonder Woman", "Fantasy Island" and "The Love Boat". He also hosted the Miss America pageant in 1981 and 1982.
Tragically, in 2019, Ely's life took a heartbreaking turn when his 62-year-old wife Valerie Lundeen Ely was fatally stabbed at their home by their 30-year-old son Cameron Ely. In a subsequent confrontation with police, Cameron Ely was shot and killed by responding deputies.

Ely and his daughters, Kirsten and Kaitland Ely-Sweet, contested the district attorney's ruling that the fatal shooting was justified, arguing that their unarmed brother posed no threat to the deputies. The family has since expressed their belief that Cameron's actions stemmed from chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE), a degenerative brain disease often associated with repeated head injuries.

In a poignant Instagram tribute, Kirsten Casale Ely remembered her father as a brilliant, funny and inspiring figure. She described him as her role model, protector and the strongest man she knew. She expressed comfort in the belief that he was now reunited with his wife and son.
Ely's passing has left a lasting legacy in the hearts of his family, friends and fans. He was a beloved actor who brought joy and inspiration to many. His tragic loss is a reminder of the fragility of life and the importance of cherishing the people we love.

Zeus Shuts Down Tommie Lee's Claims That Bobby Lytes Has AIDS
Zeus has taken action amid the drama between "Baddies" co-stars Tommie Lee and Bobby Lytes. On Wednesday, October 23, the network issued a statement addressing Tommie Lee's claim in which she said that Bobby admitted to having AIDS.

Refuting the claims, Zeus said in the statement, "In light of the statements made my Tommie Lee regarding Bobby's health status during the most recent broadcast of the 'Baddies Caribbean Reunion,' we would like to address and clarify the following: The remarks in question, uttered by Tommie Lee, do not reflect factual information." The network also noted that the claims "should not be construed as a representation of truth."
"We wish to explicitly affirm that any assertions made by Tommie concerning Bobby's health were entirely unfounded and inaccurate," it continued, before concluding, "This clarification is issued to ensure that our audience receives accurate information and to maintain the integrity of our program."

The statement came after Bobby threatened to sue Tommie if she refuses to apologize for lying with the AIDS allegations. "I'm going to do what I should have done years ago. I don't care how much time and money it takes. Mark my words!!!" he wrote on X.
"Khia, Tasha K and Tommie all gotta see me in court!! I'm done with allowing black woman to weaponize health statuses against gay black men," he added. Calling their behavior "disgusting," Bobby continued, "Someone needs to teach them a lesson!!! I hope you got your lawyers, because I have my blood work and STD results! I won't just be submitting my HIV negative status but I will also be submitting all 14 test results from my panel. Good luck ladies!!!"

In a separate post, he said that the accusations took a toll on his mental health. "I have not been able to sleep, and my anxiety has heightened. I have entered a state of depression and my reputation is being tarnished by one person's choice to blurt out a pure and organic lie," he shared.

"I feel humiliated in this scenario because this time it was a person I once considered a friend. I've dealt with these types of rumors in the past from other individuals I did not know personally, so I let it go and did not take it personal," the TV star continued.
Ending his post, he wrote, "In this case it is personal and that's what makes it so painful. I hope and pray Tommie is willing to do the right thing and be honest. I am going to give her the opportunity to retract what she said and make it clear! If not my hand will be forced to file a defamation law suit against her as well."

Tommie, meanwhile, has yet to comment on the threat.

L.A. District Attorney Says The Menendez Brothers will be re-sentence from Life without Parole to Life With the possibility of Parole

The Los Angeles County district attorney recommended Wednesday that Lyle and Erik Menendez, the brothers known for the 1989 shotgun slayings of their parents in their Beverly Hills mansion, be resentenced.

District Attorney George Gasc贸n announced at a news conference that his office would be recommending that the brothers, who are currently serving a life sentence without parole, be resentenced to 50 years to life. However, because they were under 26 years old at the time of the killings, they will be eligible for parole.

Lyle was 21 and Erik was 18 when they shot Jos茅 and Kitty Menendez in the family’s living room.

The timeline for the brothers’ potential release from prison is uncertain, Gasc贸n said, but he believes that after nearly 35 years in prison, they have “paid their debt to society.”
Gasc贸n’s announcement came amid a groundswell of advocacy for the brothers, who admitted they killed Jos茅 and Kitty Menendez but said they acted in self-defense after enduring years of physical and sexual abuse by their father. Their supporters, including their close relatives, believe that were they tried today — when society has a better understanding of child sexual abuse and trauma — they would have received a lighter sentence than life without parole.

Only a judge, not the district attorney, can resentence the men, Gasc贸n noted. He added that members of his office are vehemently opposed to resentencing and said they have a right to express their opinion to the judge in court.
Public sympathy for the brothers has grown exponentially since the September release of a controversial Netflix docudrama series, “Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story.” Erik Menendez has said it’s “full of lies,” but it also generated tons of attention for his and his brother’s case. In May 2023, in the Peacock docuseries “Menendez + Menudo: Boys Betrayed,” former boy band member Roy Rossell贸 said that Jos茅 Menendez, then a record company executive, had drugged and raped him when he was a teen, which the brothers’ defense attorneys said corroborated their own claims of sexual abuse.

Gasc贸n has faced mounting pressure on numerous fronts, including from the men’s relatives, true crime TikTokers, and celebrities like Kim Kardashian, who recently met with the brothers in prison and wrote a personal essay for NBC News advocating for their freedom. Many see Gasc贸n’s announcement as a last-ditch effort to retain his seat in the Nov. 5 election, which has him trailing by 30 percentage points.

Gasc贸n denied that politics influenced his decision, which he said he had made just an hour before the news conference began. He said he didn’t believe that a new district attorney would be able to undo his recommendation.
Last year, the brothers’ attorneys asked for their conviction to be vacated in light of Rossell贸’s allegations and a resurfaced letter Erik had written to his cousin eight months before the killings describing his father’s sexual abuse.
In a surprise news conference on Oct. 3, Gasc贸n announced that his office would be reviewing the brothers’ sentencing and convictions, with the next court date set for Nov. 26.

On Oct. 16, more than 20 of the brothers’ relatives held a news conference calling for their release from prison and announced the launch of a formal initiative, Justice for Erik & Lyle.
In an emotional plea, the brothers’ maternal aunt, Joan Andersen Vandermolen, 92, said, “The whole world was not ready to believe that the boys could be raped” when they were convicted in 1996.
In their first trial, which was televised on Court TV, jurors heard evidence of their sexual abuse and deadlocked on a verdict. Much of that evidence was barred in the second trial, which ended with a conviction.

“The evidence of their father’s abuse would not only be admitted in court, it would provide essential context for why they acted as they did. No jury today would issue such a harsh sentence without taking their trauma into account,” Vandermolen said.
After the killings, the brothers were not portrayed in the media as sympathetic figures. They were viewed as arrogant rich kids who murdered their parents out of greed and then concocted a lie about being molested by their father after they were caught.
The killings were ferocious. The brothers opened fire on their parents with 12-gauge shotguns in their living room, striking Kitty 10 times and their father six. According to the autopsy report, quoted by Dominick Dunne in an infamous series for Vanity Fair on the case, Jose Menendez suffered an “explosive decapitation with evisceration of the brain” from a shotgun blast to the back of his head. The brothers’ therapist testified that they told him Kitty was “moaning and trying to crawl away” when they reloaded their guns and shot her in the face.

Gasc贸n emphasized that his resentencing recommendation should not be misinterpreted as excusing what he said were “horrible acts.”
“There was no excuse for murder,” he said Thursday, noting that the “right path” is always to contact authorities and seek help. Sometimes, however, victims of chronic abuse can act out of desperation, he said.
“I do believe that the brothers were subjected to a tremendous amount of dysfunction in the home, and molestation,” he said.
He said that not only has society’s understanding of sexual abuse changed, but also the brothers themselves have changed.

“They engaged in a different journey ... of rehabilitation and redemption in prison,” he said, focused on self-improvement and enriching the lives of other incarcerated people.
Vandermolen told reporters on Oct. 16 that her nephews were “better men” after serving decades in prison.
“They have grown, they have changed and they have become better men despite everything that they’ve been through,” she said.

Not all of the Menendez brothers’ relatives support their resentencing, however.
Kitty Menendez’s brother, Milton Andersen, 90, said he believes his nephews were motivated by “pure greed,” and has cast doubt on the credibility and relevance of the new evidence in a court petition filed yesterday.

In a statement to HuffPost, Andersen’s attorney, Kathleen Cady, said that the district attorney has not notified her client about developments in the case, “disregarded” his rights as a victim, and is making decisions in the case “in a last-ditch effort to sway voters” to reelect him.
But many of the brothers’ relatives “desperately want them home,” their lawyer Cliff Gardner told HuffPost in a statement Thursday.

He thanked Gasc贸n for recognizing the brothers’ “extraordinary contributions” in prison and “the role that sexual abuse played” in the killings.
The brothers’ other lawyer, Mark Geragos, called Gasc贸n’s decision a “monumental victory” in a news conference late Thursday and said he believes the brothers will be home before Thanksgiving.

Elon Musk Accuses Eminem Of Being A Diddy “Party Participant”
Eminem and Barack Obama’s appearance at Kamala Harris’ rally in Detroit was exciting for Democrats, the Black community, and Hip-Hop fans. It wasn’t all universal love, though; Elon Musk, a vocal Donald Trump supporter, learned that this was going down and decided to connect Slim Shady to Diddy.

An X account shared a screenshot of the TMZ article revealing the Detroit rapper would introduce Obama at the rally. The X owner responded to the tweet and wrote, “Yet another Diddy party participant.” Given the controversial mogul’s current arrest and allegations, being linked to him or his parties is damaging to one’s reputation. However, Musk’s anger at the situation caused him to make a statement that was a bit unfounded.

Marshall Mathers has actively spoken out against Puff for some time now. In 2018, on his song “Killshot,” he accused the Bad Boy founder of putting out a hit on 2Pac: “Kells, the day you put out a hit is the day Diddy admits that he put the hit out that got Pac killed.” He is also a close friend of 50 Cent, who has been one of the loudest voices amid the former REVOLT chairman’s allegations, Homeland Security raids, and recent arrest.

This statement gets even more layered and complex when recalling Elon Musk and Diddy’s previous friendship. “I don’t know if you know this, but Puff is an investor in Twitter,” he said in the book Character Limit. “You know, he’s a good friend of mine. We text a lot.” Just two years ago, Musk was also a loud and proud fan of Eminem.

When the SEC compromised his Twitter account, he quoted Em’s track “Without Me” in his court filings, writing, “The [SEC] won’t let me be or let me be me so let me see…” It is unclear what has changed Musk’s dynamic with both men, but it is safe to assume politics plays a large part in that.

Nonetheless, Eminem and Barack Obama’s appearance at the Kamala Harris Detroit rally went off without a hitch. Barry O even rapped some of Eminem’s lyrics from “Lose Yourself” and stated his affinity for him as an artist

A$AP Rocky Trial Start Pushed Back to Accommodate Rolling Loud Performance
In some good news for A$AP Rocky, he has been granted a postponement for his upcoming trial related to a 2021 shooting incident.
The delay was unsurprisingly approved by Judge Mark Arnold during a pretrial hearing on Tuesday, October 22, following a request made by Rocky’s lawyer, Joe Tacopina. The trial, initially scheduled for November 12, conflicted with the rapper’s performance at Rolling Loud Thailand on November 22, prompting the request for a rescheduled date.

When speaking to reporters outside the courthouse, Tacopina, who also formerly represented Trump, explained the situation, saying, “If [the judge] said no, you know, Rocky would be here on November 12, obviously. I’d be here. But he was very accommodating.”
The criminal trial stems from two felony assault charges against A$AP Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, for allegedly firing a semi-automatic firearm at former A$AP Mob member A$AP Relli during a 2021 altercation. The incident reportedly occurred after tensions rose between the two over financial support Rocky allegedly failed to provide to a member of the A$AP Mob’s family. Relli claims he arranged a meeting with Rocky to resolve the dispute, but the rapper arrived with a group of men and threatened Relli’s life, pointing a gun at him. Relli also alleges that Rocky fired four shots, one of which struck him in the hand. Surveillance footage from the scene reportedly shows Rocky holding a firearm, and two gunshots can be heard in the video.

Get this, in addition to the criminal charges, Relli has filed a defamation lawsuit against both A$AP Rocky and Joe Tacopina, claiming they publicly labeled him a liar in the media.

ICYMI, A$AP Rocky has pleaded not guilty to the charges. A trial readiness hearing is now set for December 30, with the actual trial scheduled to begin on January 21, 2025. If convicted, Rocky could face up to 24 years in prison.

Greg Mathis Jr. and Elliott Cooper Tie the Knot in Intimate Cabo Wedding, Judge Mathis Officiates

Months after announcing their engagement, Greg Mathis Jr. and Elliott Cooper have tied the knot.
The “Mathis Family Matters” star and Cooper exchanged vows on October 21st during a stunning five-day destination wedding at the Waldorf Astoria in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. With only 15 guests, the intimate celebration was family-centered, with the couple planning a larger ceremony in Los Angeles to include more of their loved ones.  Still, Mathis Jr. and Cooper’s Cabo wedding marked a significant moment for the pair, who first introduced their relationship on the E! reality show in 2022.

Mathis Jr. and Cooper’s love for family was at the heart of their connection. Greg’s father, Judge Greg Mathis Sr., officiated the ceremony alongside Elliott’s father. Both grooms wore custom Sperdon Clothing suits. Greg paid homage to his University of Michigan roots, while Elliott honored his late mother with a purple ensemble.

“We both wanted a look that was classic, but also with some flair and our own personal style and touch,” Greg explained to People of their matrimonial looks.
The newlyweds’ reception featured a seafood-inspired menu, followed by memorable family activities, from whale watching to tequila tasting. A honeymoon in Bora Bora or an African safari is their goal, along with dreams of building a family in Los Angeles.

Former Model Says Donald Trump Groped Her in a “Twisted Game” with Jeffrey Epstein
A former model, Stacey Williams, has come forward with disturbing allegations against Donald Trump, accusing him of groping her during a visit to Trump Tower in 1993. Williams, who says she met Trump through the late Jeffrey Epstein, claims the incident left her feeling like a pawn in what she describes as a “twisted game” between the two men.

Stacey Williams was a professional model in the 1990s when she first crossed paths with Trump. According to Williams, she met Trump at a 1992 Christmas party, introduced by Epstein, with whom she was casually dating at the time. Epstein, later convicted of sex crimes, was widely known for his connections to influential figures, including Trump.

In a recent interview, Williams recalled the unsettling encounter that took place in the late winter or early spring of 1993. She says Epstein suggested they stop by Trump Tower during a walk, where they were greeted by Trump. Not long after, Williams alleges Trump pulled her in and began groping her. She claims he placed his hands on her breasts, waist, and buttocks while Epstein stood nearby, both men allegedly smiling as the disturbing incident unfolded.
Williams admits she froze, unsure of what was happening, describing the moment as deeply confusing. “It felt orchestrated,” she said. “I felt like a piece of meat.”

The day after the alleged incident, Williams says she received a postcard from Trump, delivered to her modeling agent. The postcard featured an aerial view of Mar-a-Lago, Trump’s Palm Beach estate. In Trump’s handwriting, it read, “Stacey – Your home away from home. Love, Donald.”
Williams, who hails from Pennsylvania and is now 56, shared the postcard with The Guardian as part of her account. She had previously hinted at her experience on social media but decided to share the full details during a recent Zoom call organized by Survivors4Harris, a group that supports Kamala Harris.

In response to the allegations, Trump’s campaign press secretary, Karoline Leavitt, issued a statement calling Williams’ claims “unequivocally false.” Leavitt suggested the accusations were politically motivated, noting that Williams had been involved in supporting Barack Obama and appeared on a call organized by a pro-Harris group just weeks before the election.

Williams’ story adds to a growing list of allegations against the former president. Over the years, about two dozen women have accused Trump of sexual misconduct, ranging from groping to unwanted advances and inappropriate behavior.
Williams explained her decision to share her story after years of silence, saying she had wanted to avoid the public scrutiny that often follows women who accuse powerful men of misconduct. “I left the business and disappeared on purpose,” Williams said. “I love my private life and I didn’t want to face the kind of abuse I saw other women endure when they came forward.”

Despite her desire for privacy, Williams revealed the incident to close friends in the mid-2000s. One friend, who wished to remain anonymous, confirmed to The Guardian that Williams had confided in her about Trump groping her at Trump Tower. Another friend, Ally Gutwillinger, recalled a 2015 conversation where Williams showed her the Mar-a-Lago postcard and mentioned that Trump had groped her years before.
Reflecting on the incident, Williams said she believes it was part of a disturbing dynamic between Trump and Epstein, one that left her feeling humiliated. “I felt this seething rage from Epstein afterward. He looked at me and berated me, as if it was my fault,” Williams shared. She said Epstein’s reaction made her feel even more confused and disgusted.
