#MAGFAB: ELLE’s 2024 Women in Hollywood Issue Cynthia Erivo
Cynthia Erivo Is Not Afraid to Use Her Voice. For the Wicked star, every character is a chance to know herself more deeply.
Cynthia on playing Elphaba in the Wicked film despite there never having been a full-time Black Elphaba on Broadway: “Why would that change for the film? I couldn’t even dream about wanting it,” Erivo says. “When you’re in this skin and you walk around, you are immediately an ‘other.’ It was a really wonderful experience to be able to step into this role, outside of my own skin, and into someone else’s, who has also been ‘othered.’ It’s important to know what it feels like. I hope that this shifts and changes things across stages.
Cynthia on working with Ariana Grande in Wicked: “I’ve gained a sister. At this point, we speak almost every day. Both of us were blown away by how connected we were immediately. I remember the first day we got to come together. It was at [director] Jon M. Chu’s house, and Stephen Schwartz [who wrote Wicked’s music and lyrics for both the OG Broadway musical and the film] was over. He played some songs for us, and we sang together for the first time. It worked. It’s a very intimate thing to sing with someone. There’s a really beautiful dance—I need to follow you, you have to follow me. It was one of the most gratifying things to know that there was someone who was that open and available, because she was, and that meant I could be as well.”
“We also had a beautiful relationship offscreen. We had really beautiful conversations, some that were not easy, but that’s what makes relationships. Those hard conversations that you can have with someone that mean that you have to be vulnerable are the things that make you close.”
Cynthia on the women in Hollywood who have impacted her: “Michelle Yeoh, because of how active and physical she is, and because she’s been able to combine dramatic acting with stunts and physicality. Whenever I’m around her, I’m like the kid who’s at her feet, saying, “Tell me everything, I want to know everything.” She just has so much knowledge, and she’s so welcoming. Cicely Tyson. The daring, the wanting to keep playing, to keep expanding and trying different things—different characters, different styles. At one point, she was bald herself, and she made the decision to just shave it all off. I just love that, and I think it’s probably what inspired my decision to shave my head, which is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made for myself. Barbra Streisand, because she’s a true Renaissance woman. To be able to direct, to act, to sing, to write, to do all of those things and do them spectacularly. She’s just one of those women who are totally themselves, and I’m in love with that. Viola Davis, just because she keeps going from strength to strength. She still has a hunger in her. These different women who have chosen to keep playing, keep trying, keep doing different things.”
Cynthia on the duet she’d love to do with Ariana Grande: “I feel like I want to find a Whitney [Houston] number and split it in two. ‘Run to You’ could be really beautiful together.”
Cynthia on the project that’s taught her the most: “It’s a toss-up between Harriet and The Outsider [the 2020 HBO miniseries based on the Stephen King novel of the same name]. On The Outsider, I had to use different tools for that character, and tools that I didn’t know that I had until I had to use them. That was a real up-and-down time for me while shooting, because it was not easy at all. The conditions were insane. We were in the middle of nowhere. We shot in a cave. I got terribly, terribly ill. It was bad, but I loved that character so much… Harriet really taught me about resilience, patience, and strength. And it also taught me about the lengths I would go for the characters that I play. I was willing to do whatever it took to make her sing. I was willing to do whatever it took to make her three-dimensional and real. I was willing to do whatever it took to make sure that I understood and everybody else understood what this character had gone through.”

Nice!
In the stunning daytime interview, Kenya opened up about the revenge porn allegations that led to her suspension from The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and she finally took accountability for her wrongdoing. While most Housewives fans appreciated hearing Kenya’s side of the controversy, Brittany doesn’t seem impressed.
Season 16 of RHOA got completely derailed when Kenya supposedly showed a poster of Brittany performing oral sex during the opening of the Kenya Moore Hair Spa. Although Kenya initially denied any wrongdoing, she took full accountability during her interview on the Tamron Hall Show.
“If I could do it all over again, I believe the photos were very distasteful, and I elevated the situation,” Kenya said. “I’ve elevated situations before, and I’ve taken full accountability for the things that I’ve done.”
Clearly, Brittany wasn’t satisfied with Kenya’s apology, because she posted some not-so-cryptic Instagram messages that seemed to reference the Kenya situation. She didn’t explicitly say it was about Kenya, but let’s be real. It’s about Kenya. She might as well have just tagged her.
“Best part of being authentic, there is no image to maintain. We are all the villain in someone’s story.?,” Brittany dramatically wrote on Instagram, underneath a carousel of photos.
Elsewhere in the post, she added, “Sometimes, peace will look like letting people be loud and wrong about you.”
This doesn’t necessarily sound like someone open to forgiveness. Either way, it remains unclear how much of this drama will actually make it onto Season 16. With Kenya out of the picture, this might be the closest thing we’ll have to a resolution.

#HipHopNews: Mac Miller’s Long Lost Balloonerism Album Will Be Released Soon
Mac Miller's second posthumous album is coming soon.On Monday night (Nov. 17), during the final day of the Tyler, The Creator's Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival, an announcement was made revealing Mac Miller's unreleased Baloonerism album will be coming to streaming services. The reveal was made via a trailer played during the concert. In the animated trailer, which can be seen below, two kids are playing on a playground when something falls from the sky and impacts the ground in the distance. From there, multiple rodents can be seen going on an epic journey with trippy visuals. The clip ends with the Mac Miller song "5 Dollar Pony Rides" playing and the reveal of the cover art, which shows an abstract drawing of Mac's face.
Baloonerism was created around 2013-2014 between the releases of Watching Movies With the Sound Off and the mixtape Faces. The album leaked in 2021, three years after Mac's untimely passing from an accidental drug overdose in 2018. Now, the offering will get an official release on DSPs. The release date has not been revealed.
This will be Mac's second posthumous album following Circles, which was released in January of 2020. Last March, producer Madlib announced during an interview on Sway in the Morning that he was putting the final touches on an upcoming Mac project and implied it was an unreleased album that was previously teased.
"Is that the same [Mac Miller] project that was mentioned years ago after he passed that was never released?" Sway asked. "So the estate is down now?"
"Yeah, they're down," Madlib replied.

Black voters reconsider political allegiance amid changing landscape
A significant transformation is occurring in Black political engagement, marked by a collective pause and strategic redirection. This shift reflects a deeper understanding of political power dynamics and the need for community-focused initiatives, particularly as former President Donald Trump prepares to return to the White House.
Recent data reveals a notable decline in Democratic Party support among Black voters. Alvin Tillery, a Northwestern University political science professor, told Black Enterprise that he warned the Democratic party about this decrease back in 2023, but he said he was not believed, even when Harris became the presidential nominee.
Back in February 2024, Gallup reported such a decline as well “Although Democrats continue to hold a formidable advantage over Republicans among non-Hispanic Black adults in the U.S., their current 47-point lead is the smallest Gallup has recorded in its polling, dating back to 1999,” it said. “Most of the decline has been recent, with the net-Democratic ID for this group falling 19 points from a 66-point advantage in 2020.”
Economic priorities reshape voting patterns
The 2024 election highlighted how economic concerns influenced voting decisions. Rising inflation, housing costs and wage stagnation emerged as primary factors driving voter behavior. Some Black voters who traditionally aligned with Democratic policies chose alternative candidates based on economic platforms, signaling a shift in priority assessment.
Women voters chart new course
Black women voters — long considered the Democratic Party’s most reliable base — are advocating for a strategic withdrawal from broad political movements to focus on community-specific initiatives. This pivot emphasizes supporting Black-owned businesses, strengthening local institutions and developing targeted economic programs.
Moving beyond traditional advocacy
The evolution of Black political engagement extends beyond voting patterns. Professional organizations, community leaders and advocacy groups are developing new approaches to civic participation. These strategies prioritize direct community investment, entrepreneurship support, and educational initiatives over traditional party politics.
Looking forward
As the political landscape continues to evolve, Black voters are reassessing their relationship with traditional party structures. This reassessment focuses on leveraging political power more effectively to address specific community needs. The emphasis has shifted toward building sustainable economic frameworks and strengthening local governance structures.
The changing dynamics suggest a more nuanced approach to political engagement, one that prioritizes tangible community benefits over party loyalty. This transformation represents a sophisticated evolution in Black political strategy, emphasizing self-reliance and community empowerment while maintaining engagement with broader political processes.
As these changes unfold, community leaders are developing new frameworks for political participation that blend traditional civic engagement with innovative approaches to community development. This evolution signals a mature understanding of political power and its application for community advancement.
The focus now extends beyond electoral politics to encompass economic development, educational advancement and community infrastructure. This comprehensive approach reflects a deeper understanding of how political power can be leveraged to achieve concrete community benefits.

Mike Tyson receives $250K offer from adult website after viral interview moment
Mike Tyson, the iconic former heavyweight boxing champion, is no stranger to the spotlight, but his latest offer might be the most unexpected yet. Following his much-publicized match against Jake Paul, a surprising proposal from the adult site CamSoda has Tyson fans buzzing.
The adult streaming platform is offering Tyson $250,000 to recreate his cheeky viral moment-literally. The buzz began after cameras caught a glimpse of Tyson's bare backside during a locker room interview at AT&T Stadium, just ahead of his boxing match with Paul. Now, CamSoda wants him to take it one step further.
I understand this offer may be a far cry from what you just raked in from the fight, but let's face it maybe it's time to hang up the gloves," the letter reads. Parker adds, "This is the perfect way to still get in front of people and perform in a different, less strenuous way. Plus, you don't have to worry about anyone biting or going after your ears.
The proposal? Tyson would need to appear live on a webcam for one hour and simply "flaunt his derriere" for the camera.
Will Mike Tyson accept?
Although the $250K might seem appealing to some, history suggests Tyson is unlikely to take up the offer. Back in 2021, he turned down a similar proposal from the same company worth $100,000.
However, Tyson's recent openness during the viral interview moment shows he's not afraid of a little humor or vulnerability in front of the cameras. Whether he entertains the offer or not, his legendary status ensures he'll remain a constant figure in pop culture conversations.

Tyrese Says He’ll “Shoot, Stab, Kill” To Protect His Money From His Children’s Mothers
Tyrese Gibson has vowed to protect his assets from the mothers of his children, by any means necessary.
The singer and actor recently voiced his willingness to commit physical violence to ensure that Samantha Lee and Norma Mitchell, the mothers of his two children, do not receive access to his property and earnings.
In a video posted on the Cali native’s social media account, Gibson expressed that he’d go as far as committing murder to keep ownership of his possessions, monetary or otherwise.

Addressing Lee and Mitchell as “Baby mama one and two,” the Fast & Furious actor was defiant in his messaging, as he was adamant in his refusal to give in to either woman’s alleged demands.
“I ain’t giving you sh*t. Like I fought to earn this life, I’ma fight to keep it,” the 45-year-old said in the clip. “I’ma shoot, stab and kill over mine,” he added. “I’m gonna protect this bottom line at all costs. I’ve earned it and I’m gonna protect it.”
Gibson has been very vocal about his legal battle with ex-wife Samantha Lee, whom he divorced in 2020, regarding him paying child support in the wake of their divorce. The hitmaker has accused Lee and her attorneys of “cracking” the prenuptial agreement the former couple signed prior to getting married in 2017.
“Why does Samantha’s lawyers just request all of my bank statements? Why are they sending screenshots of my IMDB page?” he questioned in a social media post back in September. “Leave me the f**k alone, man. I did a prenuptial agreement for a reason.”

The singer has also said that the judge presiding over his and Lee’s case recently raised his child support payments from $3,600 per month to $10,690 per month due to his conflicting relationship with Lee’s attorneys.

Meagan Good and Jonathan Majors' engagement is apparently far from being conventional. After the pair confirmed their betrothal during a joint red carpet appearance over the weekend, it has been revealed she bought her own engagement ring.
According to a new report by Media Take Out, the actress' engagement ring is worth $100,000 which she paid herself. Some folks close to her spill that the ring features a 2 carat yellow emerald cut diamond, and yellow is Meagan's favorite color.
"It is a good quality diamond, that's rated by GIA. And it has a diamond band and setting," the friend dishes. "It's very elegant." As to why Meagan bought the ring instead of her fiance, the friend explains, "Meg paid for it. She's in a better financial position that Jonathan right now, so it made sense."
The friend also snaps back at question about rumors surfacing two weeks ago that the couple had split up. "Well they're engaged now, so who cares about what anyone said two weeks ago," the friend angrily responds.
Meagan and Jonathan squashed the split rumors by announcing their engagement at the EBONY Power 100 Gala in Los Angeles on Sunday, November 17. When posing on the red carpet, the "Divorce in the Black" star proudly flaunted her engagement ring.
"We did two proposals," she told E! News at the event. "We're going to keep it to ourselves, but it was very-I was very shocked, and it was wonderful. And I was like, 'Wait, are you serious?' " Jonathan then chimed in, "Don't do anything by half."
The couple also shared the significance of unveiling the news at the EBONY Power 100 Gala. "EBONY Power 100 is the event that we met at in the bathrooms, in the unisex bathroom," she said of their first encounter two years ago.

Diddy Demands To Appear In Upcoming Trial Without Shackles
Sean "P. Diddy" Combs has formally requested to appear unshackled in court, a move that his attorney, Marc Agnifilo, argues is essential for ensuring a fair trial. The 55-year-old rap mogul, represented by Agnifilo, filed this request in a late-night motion on November 18. This plea comes ahead of his court appearance scheduled for November 19, addressing charges related to racketeering and sex trafficking.
The motion emphasizes the importance of removing the shackles, pointing out that during Combs' previous court appearance on October 10, he was shackled without any justification.
Agnifilo highlighted this issue, stating, "We write on behalf of our client, Mr. Sean Combs, to respectfully request that the Court direct the United States Marshals Service to unshackle Mr. Combs prior to bringing him into the courtroom for tomorrow's hearing and for all future court appearances." He argues that shackling Combs in court could create a "juror bias" fueled by media exposure, thereby jeopardizing the fairness of his trial.
Further complicating his legal battle, Combs has faced accusations of violating jail rules. Prosecutors claimed that while incarcerated in Brooklyn, Combs used a "non-authorized third-party messaging service" to influence potential jurors and orchestrate a social media campaign around his birthday through his children. These actions led to his most recent bail motion being denied on November 8, despite his lawyers citing new evidence which they believed should secure his release before trial.
Among the severe allegations he's facing in trial, the initial indictment includes shocking claims related to what has been described as "freak offs." In a March 2016 video cited in the indictment, Combs was allegedly seen assaulting a woman in a Los Angeles hotel. The woman in question was his ex-girlfriend Cassie.
However, Combs' legal team disputes these claims, presenting the footage as evidence of a "complex but decade-long consensual relationship between Mr. Combs and Victim 1." Despite pleading not guilty to all charges, Combs remains entangled in a legal battle with his trial scheduled for May 2025.
This case continues to captivate the public eye, with every development eagerly tracked and debated.

Chris Sails becomes the butt of a joke on the Internet for the past few days. The former husband of Queen Naija was mercilessly trolled online after his sextape got leaked.
Chris became the talk of the two after one of his sextapes, which he posted on his OnlyFans page, found its way out of the subscription-based platform. Upon catching wind of the clip, Internet users apparently had a lot to say about it.
Some made jokes at Chris' expense. Some others, meanwhile, appeared to body-shame the YouTuber.
"Y'all got ONE more good time to put Chris sails little peen on my tl before I light this btch up!" someone wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter. "Okay about to kms just saw Chris sails onlyfans on my timeline," another added.
Someone else said, "No because I'm actually mad so chris sails had the nerve to be doing all that cheating and s**t with 1 inch of peen like please don't piss me off."
Chris, meanwhile, has yet to comment on his viral video.
The leak aside, Chris previously made headlines after Queen Naija blasted him for his comments after she "trolled" people about her engagement to her boyfriend Clarence White. "Now that was a close one; I really thought they got married; I was in my room crying night out and day in" Chris said back in September. "But no, on a serious note, baby girl, you did not troll us; you trolled yourself. I'm trying to act like I'm happy, but I'm really hurting for real. I'm sick."
He added, "My baby mom is still cute, though. I ain't gon' lie every time I see her out in public, she don't wanna look at me in the eye, she know why. She know she still love me. Aye, lemme stop. My bad, Clare. I'm done. This my last video."
In response to that, Queen wrote in an Instagram comment, "While he's laughing at me I hope this coin he making off my name help out a little bit with some of his son's expenses, cause I gave him grace by not putting him on child support. I've been so nice. He hasn't taught his son anything valuable. It's sad that another man had to come & do his part smh."

PEEP THEM! Nike Air Jordan 4 Retro “Fear”
With only a few more sneaker releases slated to drop before we wrap up another calendar year, Nike leans into a tried-and-true signature silhouette for this release: the Air Jordan 4 Retro! This time, the silhouette is rendered in a “Fear” colorway that takes inspiration from the 2013 “Fear Pack” drop featuring a Jordan 3 and Jordan 5. With its alluring mashup of black/grey/white tones, the “Fear” 4 reflects the intimidating aura Michael Jordan had on the court in his prime and is prized to recapture the popular moment. Let’s get into this week’s official “Kickin Facts” review!
The Air Jordan “Fear” 4 features a sleek combination of black, white, grey, and cool grey tones throughout the silhouette, starting with its premium nubuck and leather upper. Highlights include its white-speckled midsole, a red Nike Air unit, and its stark white rubber outsole. The mix of dark colors makes for an eye-catching silhouette and nods to Jordan’s harrowing on-court presence in a smoky way, while the Jumpman logo on the tongue and back heel in white adds a pop of brightness. Lastly, to seal its moody and menacing presence, the insoles carry the quote: “I’m scared of what I won’t become. You’re scared of what I could become.”
The “Fear” 4s lean into the legendary lore of Michael Jordan, who notoriously stopped many of his world-class peers from getting NBA Championship rings during his prime. In a vintage interview with the late Stuart Scott, Jordan states, “I take great pride in making sure that they don't win” while speaking specifically about Charles Barkley, Karl Malone, and Patrick Ewing. What a menacing and meaningful way to immortalize the mental and physical dominance of the living legend in his prime!
What are your thoughts on the offering? Would you cop? The Nike Air Jordan 4 Retro “Fear” was released on Nov. 16 for $215 and is available now at various retailers!

JoJo Siwa Shares Desire for Private Life Amid Dakayla Wilson Split
JoJo Siwa is working to change her karma. The same day she confirmed her breakup with Dakayla Wilson, the Dance Moms alum got candid about how her past experiences have taught her to keep her personal life more private going forward.
"You f--k up and you put things in public that you shouldn't be," JoJo exclusively told E! News at the 11th Annual American Reality Television Awards Nov. 18. "Unfortunately, that's the only way that you learn sometimes. And I've had to learn some hard lessons, but they've paid off in the end."
But being selective about what she shares with others is easier said than done. After all, the 21-year-old admitted that she can be "extremely vulnerable" and a "really fragile human."
Luckily, there's another side to JoJo that she's also come to appreciate: her resilience.
"I recently had a new friend come into my life and one of the things that they always talk to me about is how resilient I am," she shared. "They kind of hold a mirror up to myself, and I'm really appreciative of that friendship because that's a really interesting thing to have someone put a mirror in front of you and doing it in a positive way."
JoJo added, "It's brought a new perspective on life."
And the "Karma" singer's new approach to life coincides with a new chapter. Three months after she took her romance public with Dakayla, JoJo revealed that she and the dancer broke up.
“We have gone our separate ways,” she told People, “but she is an amazing girl."
While their love story didn't stand the test of time, JoJo wishes nothing but the best for Dakayla, who she surprised with a $30,000 birthday trip to Hawaii in October, one month before announcing their split.
"I got my own fun holiday plans, and I know she's got her family that she's spent the holidays with," the "Guilty Pleasure" singer said. "I'm happy for her that she has [them]."

Cher Says Ex-Husband Sonny Bono 'Seriously Thought' About Killing Her
In her new book, Cher: The Memoir, Part One, Cher reflects on dark times in her former marriage to late singer, actor and politician, Sonny Bono.
Upon the memoir's Tuesday (November 19) debut, excerpts were released in which the 78-year-old sharing that Bono, whom she divorced in 1975, "seriously thought" about killing her, by throwing her off a balcony, as their marriage went south. Bono died in January 1998 after he sustained injuries from hitting a tree while skiing.
According to TMZ, Bono's confession was made after Cher admitted to wanting to sleep with their guitarist, Bill.
"He laughed a little at that and so did I. It was crazy that he was telling me," Cher wrote. "He went on: 'I figured I’d plead insanity like Spade Cooley and get seven years in jail before they released me. Then I’d get a book deal and my own show.'"
Cher responded by telling her then-husband that "there would have been no need to push [her]" because she was "gonna jump" regardless.
After calling the conversation the "darkest moment" of their marriage, she continued, "I don’t think for a minute that Sonny would have actually pushed me off the balcony, but I’m sure it crossed his mind, and he knew that jumping off had also crossed mine. What else could we do but laugh?"
As Cher wrote, per TODAY, the singer was 26 and felt as though she was trapped in a "loveless marriage." With Bono, Cher has a transgender son, Chaz Bono, 55, while she also shares a son, Elijah Allman, 48, with her late ex-husband, Gregg Allman, who died in 2017.
At one point, Cher had suicide ideation while in a Las Vegas hotel room.
"I stepped barefoot onto the balcony of our suite and stared down. I was dizzy with loneliness. I saw how easy it would be to step over the edge and simply disappear,” Cher wrote pertaining to the unhappiness in her marriage to Bono. "For a few crazy minutes I couldn’t imagine any other option."
Cher added that she'd neared this breaking point "five or six times," but thought about her child, her mother, Georgia Holt, and half-sister Georganne LaPiere, along with fans who may feel like suicide was "a viable solution."
But after multiple close attempts at suicide, Cher wrote that "one morning everything changed."
"That night between shows I went out on the balcony again and this time I thought, I don’t have to jump off, I can just leave him," she wrote.
Even while their marriage reached a dissolution, the ex-spouses hosted variety shows, Sonny & Cher Comedy Hour from 1971 to 1974, and The Sonny & Cher Show from 1976 to 1977. The couple met when Cher was 16 and Bono was 27, with the "Believe" singer originally moving in with him as a cook and housekeeper.
Some years after their divorce, Cher recalled that Bono came to her home and apologized for his misdeeds in their marriage.
“He showed up on my doorstep in tears. Sitting in my kitchen, he said to me, ‘I’m sorry for what I did to you. I was dishonest and I had all those women, and I didn’t think how it might affect our relationship,’” she wrote.
Although Cher "never thought" she would receive an apology from Bono, which "couldn’t change anything," it felt “good to know deep down inside that he’d realized for the first time how hurtful what he’d done was and was genuinely sorry."
Cher is now in a relationship with Def Jam Records VP of A&R, Alexander "A.E." Edwards.

Jalen Hurts appears on Good Morning America to talk about his foundation
Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts made an appearance on Good Morning America on Tuesday morning to talk about the Jalen Hurts Foundation and his Keep it Cool Initiative.
Hurts, 26, has pledged $5,000 for every touchdown he scores this season that will go to his TDs for AC campaign to support his Keep it Cool Initiative, which puts air conditioning into Philadelphia schools.
“Competitively, the main thing is to always go out there and win and do what you can to help your team win,” Hurts said on Good Morning America. “But extends an opportunity to not only get the fans engaged but to have purpose behind every touchdown. It was something that I really thought about, the foundation team really thought about. Just trying to continue to foster the change we already began coming into it. It was something so natural.
“I never watch the news, I’m always locked in and on to the next thing. But I caught one day, it was fall, there were rising temperatures in Philadelphia, and the School District of Philadelphia had to cancel school because it was so hot and they didn’t have the proper air conditioning systems to keep the kids in school. Something so simple yet so challenging and so important. That happened and I saw that on the news and that kind of caught me. It took some time to get involved and get the change made.”
“It was always in me to be impactful and a service in the community...”@eagles quarterback @JalenHurts talks about how foundation is supporting local schools in Philadelphia and why he's taking this season "one game at a time." pic.twitter.com/9SEVGGeJp2
Through 10 games, Hurts has scored 23 total touchdowns, which is a total of $115,000 that will be donated to the Keep it Cool Initiative. Hurts surpassed the $100,000 mark with the win over the Cowboys in Week 10.
Last year, the Eagles’ starting quarterback donated $200,000 to add 314 air conditioning units to 10 Philadelphia schools to kick off the campaign.
“It’s something that happened very naturally,” Hurts said about his foundation to Good Morning America. “The Jalen Hurts Foundation was something that began and was brought to life this year. It was always in me to be impactful and of service in the community, whether I was at Alabama, Oklahoma or now Philly being my home. I just wanted to create something that really fostered mentorship to our youth, something that could help progress our youth and serve our youth. There are multiple ways to do that. It’s been a fun process being able to give back.”

Tyrese Maxey Calls Out Joel Embiid in Team Meeting Amid Sixers’ 2-11 Start
The Philadelphia 76ers have now lost four consecutive games, including a 17-point defeat to the Miami Heat last night. According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, the team held a meeting following their disappointing 2-11 start to the season. Expectations were high that the addition of Paul George would elevate the Sixers to the second-best team in the Eastern Conference alongside a healthy Joel Embiid.
Unfortunately, Embiid has not been healthy to start the season, and the Sixers have yet to play a game with the trio of Joel Embiid, Paul George, and Tyrese Maxey in the lineup. Charania also reported that All-Star guard Tyrese Maxey confronted Embiid during the meeting, accusing him of being “late for everything” and pointing out how it was negatively impacting the team.
The two stars have a relationship that allows for open criticism, but tension appears to be rising. At the start of the season, Embiid hinted at not playing back-to-back games, while Maxey’s strong performances have continued to stand out. Leadership, performance on the court, and professionalism determine who leads in the locker room, raising the question: Is Embiid still the top dog in this Sixers squad?
Players also expressed their concerns to head coach Nick Nurse, telling him they wanted more demanding coaching. Embiid mentioned that at times, he is unsure of the team’s offensive direction. With so many questions hanging over the team, the only way to silence the noise is to start winning.
A road victory against an injury-plagued Memphis squad could potentially spark a winning streak as the Sixers head into a Thanksgiving homestand. During this stretch, they will face the Brooklyn Nets, Los Angeles Clippers, and Houston Rockets—all of which are winnable games.

Matt Gaetz Faces New Allegations of Paid Sex Encounters at Private Florida Parties in 2017
Representative Matt Gaetz, President-elect Donald Trump’s pick for Attorney General, is facing renewed scrutiny over allegations of paying for sex at private parties in Florida in 2017. According to attorney Joel Leppard, who represents two women making these claims, Gaetz was allegedly involved in sexual encounters at a small, invitation-only event while he was a House member. One of the women claims she witnessed Gaetz having sex with her then-17-year-old friend at the gathering.
The explosive accusations add another layer of controversy to Gaetz’s public profile as he prepares for a challenging Senate confirmation. Leppard stated that both women testified before the House Ethics Committee, providing extensive documentation, including text messages. NBC News reviewed a subpoena related to their testimony.
One of Leppard’s clients, 19 at the time, alleges Gaetz immediately brought her upstairs for sex upon their introduction. Later that night, she purportedly witnessed Gaetz with her underage friend, further intensifying the claims. Leppard’s clients insist they have no political motivations and simply want the truth to be known, pressing for the release of the Ethics Committee’s report on Gaetz.
The Justice Department previously investigated Gaetz for sex-trafficking allegations but declined to press charges. Gaetz has consistently denied all accusations, attributing them to an extortion plot. Trump’s transition spokesman called the allegations “baseless” and framed
