#RHOA: Kandi Burruss Reveals the Status of Her RHOA Friendships: "You Know..."
Kandi Burruss Tucker still has love for her former castmates.
Nine months after announcing her exit from The Real Housewives of Atlanta, the Georgia-born Grammy winner shared more details about her departure and where she stands with past and current peach-holders.

Kandi Burruss confirms she's still in contact with her fellow Bravolebs
“I’m still friends with a lot of the girls, you know what I mean?” she said during a recent interview with Extra. “I feel like I’m always gonna be in their lives and they’re always going to be in my life in some sort of way. And even like some of the new people that are a part of the cast, Shamea [Morton Mwangi] and I, we’re like this [crosses fingers], you know? So, I’m still gonna be there to support them."

Kandi also confirmed she keeps in contact with the show’s executive producer Andy Cohen as well as former ’Wife Cynthia Bailey.
“I’m still heavily involved in that circle,” she said. “I’m just not gonna be on film, how about that? That’s just not my intention to go back as a cast member. But when you say, ‘Would I miss it?’ I don’t know, but Cynthia said that I’m not gonna miss it until they start doing promos for the new season.”

Cynthia left RHOA in 2021 but will return to the series in a “friend of” role. Season 16, which is set to premiere in 2025, will feature Shamea, Porsha Williams, Phaedra Parks, and Drew Sidora as well as newcomers Brittany Eady, Kelli Ferrell, and Angela Oakley.
“Kandi’s been on since, I think, season 2. She is, in my opinion, one of the most inspiring women on the show,” Cynthia told Entertainment Tonight back in April. “She’s such a boss… I think, I’ve always known that once Kandi decided to move on, she was going to be fine. She’s an actress, she’s a singer, I mean she’s all over the place. So I only expect to see even more from Kandi at this point.”

Kandi gives an update on her husband Todd's health scare
Kandi shared the friendship update just several weeks after her husband, Todd Tucker, was briefly hospitalized. The former Housewife addressed the incident in an Amazon Live stream, reassuring viewers that her hubby was doing just fine.

“Todd is doing well,” she said during the broadcast before issuing a PSA. “First of all, guys, make sure you get regular check-ups, all right? Especially when you’re starting to get a little mature.”
Kandi confirmed the health scare occurred on October 20, when she and Todd traveled to New York City to attend the Broadway opening of Sunset Boulevard. She said Todd had experienced increasing discomfort in the arm and chest area, which prompted him to go to the emergency room.

“They said it could possibly be a pinched nerve. I’ve never heard of that,” Kandi revealed. “They said a pinched nerve in your neck-shoulder area can sometimes cause pain along that entire arm, and numbness similar to a stroke. So they want to give him X-rays and stuff to see if it’s that or if it’s [related to] the [high] blood pressure… So they’re checking. OK? We’ll keep you updated. He’s OK now. I didn’t want to tell you too much. So that’s that on that.”

#HipHopNews: Kendrick Lamar And SZA Announce 2025 Dates For Their Joint "Grand National Tour"
Kendrick Lamar’s winning streak is the gift that keeps giving. He first dethroned Drake with the chart-topping “Not Like Us,” followed it with the surprise release of GNX, and now, the Compton lyricist is gearing up to hit the road with SZA.
On Tuesday (Dec. 3), the duo announced the 2025 dates for their “Grand National Tour,” slated to begin on April 19 in Minneapolis. They’ll then sweep through major cities like Houston, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Detroit, and Toronto before concluding in Washington, D.C. on June 18.

The presale will begin on Wednesday (Dec. 4) at 10 a.m. local time, while general ticket sales are set to go live later in the week.
The “Grand National Tour” will be Lamar’s first tour since 2022, coming on the heels of his highly anticipated Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show performance. SZA, on the other hand, wrapped up the final leg of her “SOS Tour” earlier in the year.

The two artists collaborated on “gloria” and “luther,” the latter of which sampled Luther Vandross’ “If This World Were Mine” vocals, on November’s GN X. The 12-song project, which clinched the highly coveted No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart, also boasted features from Dody6, AzChike, YoungThreat, Roddy Ricch, Hitta J3, Siete7x, and Wallie the Sensei.

While not confirmed just yet, it’s likely fans will see some of those artists pop out at select dates on the trek, especially with records like “tv off” and “hey now” making it into the Hot 100’s Top 10.
As for SZA, her SOS (Deluxe) and LANA are both expected to be released by the end of 2024. We’ll presumably get an update on the first-mentioned effort closer to its one-year anniversary, which takes place on Dec. 9.
Regarding the latter project, SZA told British Vogue, “I think I am making music from a more beautiful place. From a more possible place versus a more angsty place.”

Serena Williams Addresses New Skin Bleaching Claims: “I Love Who I Am”

Serena loves the skin she’s in and she’s made that crystal clear following recent accusations of lightening her complexion.
After posting a video on Instagram showing her in a blonde wig and heavy makeup look, many commenters assumed she had been skin bleaching. However in a IG Live session on Monday (Dec. 2), the tennis icon clarified that she was simply volunteering for her daughter’s play and had been wearing stage makeup.

“For all the haters out there, I do not bleach my skin,” she further explained. “There’s something called sunlight and in different lighting, you get different shades.” Doubling down on her confidence, she added, “I’m a dark, Black woman, and I love who I am, and I love how I look, and that’s just not my thing. And if people do it that’s their thing and they have every opportunity and they should.”

“I don’t judge, but you guys do,” she continued. “But that’s what this world is about and I stay in my lane, the non-judgy one and I keep it. But no, I actually don’t bleach my skin, so can we just kinda clear that up?”
This isn’t the first time the 23-time Grand Slam champ has been accused of bleaching her skin. In 2021, she had the net buzzing when she post-and-deleted a photo that showed her appearing way lighter than her normal complexion.

At the time fans speculated that she either bleached her skin or her makeup artist applied makeup that was much lighter than her skin tone. The picture sparked much conversation, and without hesitation or explanation, the 43-year-old removed the photo.

Among the commentators was Wack 100, who went on a rant about the Black commnity and “self-acceptance.”
“To each his own but I don’t wanna believe this – And if this picture is authentic I wanna say WE AS A RACE have to look at ourselves. NO EXCUSES but Ima speak on it. WE are the first ones to make jokes about a BIG NOSE or LIPS or Kinky hair or how BLACK one is.”

He went on, “This makes a person say well if this is wrong that over there is right ! BEAUTY IS OUR BEAUTY. A Asian woman features may be unattractive to another races eyes but BEAUTIFUL to that RACES eyes —- FOR THE RECORD I LOVE US AND WHAT MAKES US US – let’s not bash but learn so maybe we won’t have another one of our public figures trapped in the twilight zone.”

Kyrie Irving hit with massive lawsuit over retreat visit
Dallas Mavericks guard Kyrie Irving faces a $390,000 lawsuit from Elite Mind Solutions over unpaid services at a family retreat from June 28 to July 2, 2024.
TMZ Sports reported the company claims Irving increased attendees from 50-60 to 115 days before the event, eventually reaching 150 participants. The surge significantly increased costs to $390,710.

An attendee’s death during the retreat required crisis intervention services. Elite Mind Solutions alleges they continued services based on Irving’s promise to cover costs, citing their positive relationship since 2020.
The lawsuit accuses Irving of fraud and unjust enrichment, claiming he made false representations to maintain services while benefiting from them. Irving has not publicly responded to allegations.
The legal challenge comes as Irving leads the Mavericks (13-8) to fifth place in the Western Conference, with focus shifting to their upcoming Memphis Grizzlies matchup.

The company emphasizes Irving knowingly accepted and benefited from services, particularly during the tragic incident, yet refused payment despite their existing business relationship.
The lawsuit details how Elite Mind Solutions adapted to accommodate the increased attendance, providing additional staff and resources beyond initial arrangements.
The company’s legal filing suggests Irving’s actions caused financial strain, as they allocated significant resources to meet expanded service demands.

Their prior relationship with Irving since 2020 adds context to the company’s willingness to accommodate last-minute changes and continue services during crisis.
The timing of the lawsuit coincides with Irving’s strong season performance, highlighting the contrast between his professional success and personal legal challenges.
The case raises questions about contract obligations and service provider relationships in high-profile events, particularly when unexpected circumstances arise.

Eminem’s Mom Debbie Nelson Dead At 69

Eminem‘s mother Debbie Nelson has passed away at age 69. According to the news first reported by TMZ, her cause of death was lung cancer and she died on Monday (Dec. 2) in St. Joseph, Missouri.
The news of Nelson’s illness was first revealed in September, when outlets reported the rapper’s mother was in critical condition. “There are not many options [for Debbie],” a source told In Touch at the time. “She is currently staying between the cancer center and with family members. She has a very limited amount of time left.”

The insider told the outlet that Em was supporting his mom financially despite not speaking to her for “years.” Notably, the source also added that Eminem is “good to his mom” and takes care of her, and might not have been fully aware of the severity of her condition.
The Detroit emcee’s complicated relationship with his mother was chronicled via many songs throughout his career. She gave birth to Em, Marshall Bruce Mathers III, when she was 18 years old and had him with her high school sweetheart, Marshall Bruce Mathers. The Curtain Call rapper has revealed the things he and his family have been through in songs like “Cleaning Out My Closet,” “My Mom,” and more.

In 2007, Nelson wrote an autobiography about her life as the famous rapper’s mother titled My Son Marshall, My Son Eminem.
One of the most recent public interactions was back in 2022 when Nelson congratulated her son for his induction into the Hall Of Fame. In an Instagram clip, she says, “Marshall, I want to say, I could not let this day go by without congratulating you on your induction into the Hall of Fame.”

She added that she has a lot of love for her son and said she always knew his journey would lead him to great success, saying, “I love you very much. I knew you’d get there. It’s been a long ride. I’m very, very proud of you.”

A Village People Member Insists ‘YMCA’ Isn’t A ‘Gay Anthem’ And Threatens To Sue Publications That Say It Is
Village People’s 1978 hit “YMCA” is the group’s most enduring song, and the hit single is frequently described as a “gay anthem” (even the Library Of Congress thinks it is). However, the band’s Victor Willis, who sings the song and wrote its lyrics, disagrees.

In a post shared on Facebook yesterday (December 2), he calls the idea “a false assumption based on the fact that my writing partner was gay, and some (not all) of Village People were gay, and that the first Village People album was totally about gay life. This assumption is also based on the fact that the YMCA was apparently being used as some sort of gay hangout and since one of the writers was gay and some of the Village People are gay, the song must be a message to gay people. To that I say once again, get your minds out of the gutter. It is not.”

Willis also notes, “However, I don’t mind that gays think of the song as their anthem. But you’d be hard-pressed to find Y.M.C.A. on the play list at any gay club, parade or other gay activity in a way that would suggest it’s somehow an anthem to the community other than alluding to illicit activity, which is defamatory, and damaging to the song.”

Willis even threatened legal action, saying, “Therefore, since I wrote the lyrics and ought to know what the lyrics I wrote is really about, come January 2025, my wife will start suing each and every news organization that falsely refers to Y.M.C.A., either in their headlines or alluded to in the base of the story, that Y.M.C.A. is somehow a gay anthem because such notion is based solely on the song’s lyrics alluding to elicit activity for which it does not.”

Elsewhere in the post, he addresses Donald Trump’s use of the song during his presidential campaign, explaining that he pushed back on it before realizing Trump obtained the proper legal rights to use the song. He adds, “The financial benefits have been great as well as Y.M.C.A. is estimated to gross several million dollars since the President Elect’s continued use of the song. Therefore, I’m glad I allowed the President Elect’s continued use of Y.M.C.A. And I thank him for choosing to use my song.”

“WHY I ALLOWED PRESIDENT ELECT TRUMP’S CONTINUED USE OF Y.M.C.A. AND WHY THE SONG IS NOT REALLY A GAY ANTHEM

To Village People fans and the media:
I am the singer and writer of the lyrics to the hit Y.M.C.A. In fact, as was adjudicated and ruled in a U.S. District Court, I wrote 100% of the lyrics, and my writing partner, Jacques Morali wrote the music.

Since 2020, I’ve received over a thousand complaints about President Elect Trump’s use of Y.M.C.A. With that many complaints, I decided to ask the President Elect to stop using Y.M.C.A. because his use had become a nuisance to me.

However, the use continued because the Trump campaign knew they had obtained a political use license from BMI and absent that license being terminated, they had every right to continue using Y.M.C.A. And they did.
In fact, I started noticing numerous artists withdrawing the President Elect’s use of their material. But by the time I said to my wife one day, hey, ‘Trump’ seems to genuinely like Y.M.C.A. and he’s having a lot of fun with it.

As such, I simply didn’t have the heart to prevent his continued use of my song in the face of so many artists withdrawing his use of their material. So I told my wife to inform BMI to not withdraw the Trump campaign political use license. My French partners were contemplating legal action out of France. So I had my wife contact our French partners and asked them to stay out of the Trump campaign’s use of Y.M.C.A. because it is a U.S. matter, and I will make the decision on his use. Our French partners quickly backed off of their objection to his use.

Y.M.C.A. has benefited greatly from use by the President Elect. For example, Y.M.C.A. was stuck at #2 on the Billboard chart prior to the President Elect’s use. However, the song finally made it to #1 on a Billboard chart after over 45 years (and held on to #1 for two weeks) due to the President Elect’s use.
The financial benefits have been great as well as Y.M.C.A. is estimated to gross several million dollars since the President Elect’s continued use of the song. Therefore, I’m glad I allowed the President Elect’s continued use of Y.M.C.A. And I thank him for choosing to use my song.

There’s been a lot of talk, especially of late, that Y.M.C.A. is somehow a gay anthem. As I’ve said numerous times in the past, that is a false assumption based on the fact that my writing partner was gay, and some (not all) of Village People were gay, and that the first Village People album was totally about gay life.
This assumption is also based on the fact that the YMCA was apparently being used as some sort of gay hangout and since one of the writers was gay and some of the Village People are gay, the song must be a message to gay people. To that I say once again, get your minds out of the gutter. It is not.

Sadly, when the President Elect started using the song, people attempting to brand the song as a gay anthem reached a fever pitch as many used it to say, oh, Trump don’t know the song is a gay anthem? This was done in a manner to attempt to shame the President Elect’s use of the song.

As I stated on numerous occasions, I knew nothing about the Y being a hang out for gays when I wrote the lyrics to Y.M.C.A. and Jacques Morali (who was gay) never once stated such to me. In fact, Jacques never once told me how to write my lyrics otherwise I would have said to him, you don’t need me, why don’t you simply write the lyrics.
I therefore wrote Y.M.C.A. about the things I knew about the Y in the urban areas of San Francisco such as swimming, basketball, track, and cheap food and cheap rooms. And when I say, ‘hang out with all the boys’ that is simply 1970s black slang for black guys hanging-out together for sports, gambling or whatever. There’s nothing gay about that.

So, to the extent that Y.M.C.A. is considered a gay anthem based on the fact that gays once used certain YMCA’s for elicit activity, the assumption that the song alludes to that is completely misguided.
Therefore, since I wrote the lyrics and ought to know what the lyrics I wrote is really about, come January 2025, my wife will start suing each and every news organization that falsely refers to Y.M.C.A., either in their headlines or alluded to in the base of the story, that Y.M.C.A. is somehow a gay anthem because such notion is based solely on the song’s lyrics alluding to elicit activity for which it does not. However, I don’t mind that gays think of the song as their anthem.

But you’d be hard-pressed to find Y.M.C.A. on the play list at any gay club, parade or other gay activity in a way that would suggest it’s somehow an anthem to the community other than alluding to illicit activity, which is defamatory, and damaging to the song. But it stops in 2025.

However, you know where you-will find Y.M.C.A.? On the play list of almost every wedding, bar mitzvah, sporting organization, and the song is used in commercials and motion pictures and products worldwide.
The true anthem is Y.M.C.A.’s appeal to people of all strips including President Elect Trump. But the song is not really a gay anthem other than certain people falsely suggesting that it is. And this must stop because it is damaging to the song.”

Joss Stone Introduces Adopted Baby Boy, Bear
Joss Stone, 37, revealed on Instagram that she and husband Cody DaLuz have adopted their third child, a baby boy named Bear. In a touching Instagram Reel, Stone shared the moments leading up to bringing Bear home, from the initial phone call from the adoption agency to the heartfelt introduction to his siblings, Shackleton (2) and Violet (3).

"This is what happened to us last Monday," Stone shared in her caption. "We can not quite believe it. We are in love big time with this little guy."
In the heartwarming video, the couple's excitement and nervousness are palpable as they mistakenly arrive at the wrong hospital before finally meeting Bear. DaLuz is seen cradling Bear, showering him with loving words, and Stone captures sweet moments with the healthcare staff who cared for Bear during his first 35 days of life.

Known for her soulful voice, Stone delved deeply into the emotional significance of adoption, noting that DaLuz himself was adopted. "The reason why Cody even exists is because his bio mum loved him enough to make an adoption plan for him and the same goes for Bear," she revealed.

Stone expressed profound gratitude towards biological mothers for their selfless love, "Honestly bio mothers do not get the gratitude they deserve. It is a more selfless love than I knew existed. Truly. We are just so happy to be part of this beautiful cycle." She encouraged her followers to share their own adoption stories and warmly welcomed her "gorgeous baby boy" to the world.

Sharing their personal journey, the couple revealed they began the adoption process earlier in 2023, hoping to expand their family. Stone had previously expressed a desire to have "like, 25 kids."
Stone's eldest daughter, Violet, is already showing signs of a budding musician, following in her mother's footsteps. Stone described how Violet is "obsessed with her ukulele" and loves creating art around the house. Family interactions bring immense joy to Stone, who cherishes the laughter shared between her children.

Looking to the future, Stone and DaLuz plan to move back to Devon to provide their children with an upbringing similar to Stone's own, filled with outdoor activities and close family ties. Adjusting to parenthood has also slowed Stone's pace of life, allowing her to savor these precious moments with her children.
Stone concluded her reel by showing touching images of Shackleton and Violet meeting their new baby brother, Bear, sealing the introduction with a warm, familial embrace.

Lil Nas X Steps Out With Rumored Boyfriend Cody Jon On Rare Outing In Los Angeles
Lil Nas X was seen stepping out with rumored boyfriend Cody Jon. The 25-year-old "Rodeo" hitmaker was working up a sweat during a hike with the "Crushed" singer on Monday, December 2. The Atlanta native wore casual attire, while his alleged partner opted for a blue T-shirt and oversized sweatpants.

The couple first sparked romance rumor in November. Despite their private nature, TMZ captured a glimpse of the pair sharing a kiss last month. Fans also spotted Lil Nas X and Cody attending Adele's Las Vegas residency show on November 9.
While neither Lil Nas X nor Cody Jon has publicly confirmed their relationship, they follow each other on Instagram. The Australian sensation, born Cody John Duran, released an EP in April with over 95K monthly listeners.

Before becoming musically famous, Lil Nas X, born Montero Hill, was active on social media, creating memes and gaining a following. He gained mainstream attention with his 2019 hit "Old Town Road," a genre-blending song featuring Billy Ray Cyrus. In June of that year, he publicly came out as gay during Pride Month.

Lil Nas X later released his debut EP, "7," featuring hits like "Panini" and "Rodeo." In 2021, he faced controversy after releasing the self-titled track "Montero," which explored themes of identity, religion, and LGBTQ+. The accompanying "Satan Shoes" collaboration with Nike sparked backlash but sold out quickly.

Despite their privacy, Lil Nas X has been open about working on self-love and prioritizing himself. He has described himself as "determined, emotional, and hopeful" and has said that his Jeep is his most prized possession.

Kerry Washington Receives a Star On Hollywood The Walk Of Fame
She was accompanied by her husband Nnamdi Asomugha and celebrated by her longtime friends, Tyler Perry and Shonda Rhimes. When Perry spoke, he joked, “This is so great; I get to roast her in front of her.” The entertainment mogul was “honored” to witness Washington get her star because of all the moments they’ve shared over the years.

Perry reflected on the first time they met. “She’s beautiful, this little, dainty woman. She’s talking and I’m like ‘where is your inside voice?’ She was so loud […] She is incredibly kind and giving and powerful and her heart speaks first. As I look at the roles that she has taken on from For Colored Girls to all the things mentioned, she approaches it with heart. She’s not just acting, but she’s representing the people that she’s portraying.”
He also joked how Washington embodies her roles so much that her daughter, Isabelle, nailed the Olivia Pope walk—considering she was pregnant with her while filming Scandal.

Rhimes, the visionary behind the hit political drama, joked, “Usually, I write words and then Kerry says them. So, this is new for me, but I’m really glad to be here for Kerry.” She detailed how Washington’s star was so “well-deserved” because she’s a star beyond Hollywood.
“I like Kerry and I don’t like anybody, but Kerry and I grew to have this connection through our Olivia Pope. A really, super-weird, intense, over-a-cliff kinda connection. We both gave ourselves over to this process where she never questioned what I wrote for Olivia and I never questioned how she played Olivia. I don’t know if I can fully describe how rare that is,” said Rhimes as she broke down the depths of her and Washington’s sisterhood.

The Shondaland icon added, “When Kerry became Olivia Pope, I didn’t realize I was doing more than hiring an incredibly talented actor. I was starting an education I didn’t know I needed. […] Kerry doesn’t just shine for herself. She shares her light with anyone who needs it.”
Washington later thanked them both during her speech before sharing a touching story on her immigrant family coming to Hollywood and seeing their family name on a Walk of Fame star. So, now she hopes that someone with the last name Washington or first name Kerry will see hers and dream of having their own star on the beloved landmark.

Beyonce Won #1 Pop Star of the 21st Century Over Taylor Swift
Beyonce has officially been named the #1 Greatest Pop Star of the 21st Century by Billboard, beating out runner-up Taylor Swift.
Controversy brewed on social media right before Thanksgiving when Billboard announced Taylor as the runner-up, basically confirming that Beyonce would be picked as number one.

Now, Billboard is explaining why Beyonce topped Taylor.
“While Taylor Swift is the century’s biggest pop star by the numbers — from album sales to streams to touring dominance — our editorial staff has chosen Beyoncé as our No. 1 Greatest Pop Star of the Century, based on her full 25 years of influence, evolution and impact,” the outlet’s Andrew Unterberger wrote in the intro.

Unterberger noted that Taylor has not been around for as long as Beyonce and isn’t able to match the breadth of her career yet.
“Few artists this period can match her in any of the most critical basic categories of pop stardom – commercial success, performance abilities, critical acclaim and accolades, industry influence, iconic cultural moments – and absolutely no one can equal her in all of them. Even Taylor Swift, the lone artist who really challenged Beyoncé for the top spot on these rankings – and who does have a clear statistical lead on Bey in many key categories; more on that later – simply hasn’t been around for long enough to be able to match the expansiveness of her quarter-century of dominance,” the reporter wrote in the article.

Check out the full ranking below!

Mattel Sued Over ‘Wicked’ Dolls That Included Link to Porn Website on Packaging
Mattel is being sued for mistakenly printing the URL for a pornographic site on the packaging for special-edition “Wicked” dolls.
According to court documents, a South Carolina resident is launching a class action lawsuit after purchasing the toy for her young daughter, who visited the X-rated website that had “nothing to do with the ‘Wicked’ doll.” The toy company mistakenly listed a similarly-titled website for the adult-entertainment site Wicked Pictures, rather than the official page for the Universal Pictures film, starring Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande. The plaintiff alleges that Mattel didn’t offer a refund and believes she and her child suffered “emotional distress” from the misprint.

“These scenes were hardcore, full on nude pornographic images depicting actual intercourse,” the lawsuit reads. “Plaintiff’s minor daughter immediately showed her mother the photographs and both were horrified by what they saw. If plaintiff had been aware of such an inappropriate defect in the product, she would not have purchased it.”

Mattel, the manufacturer of Barbie, pulled the toy from shelves at retailers including Target, Amazon and Kohl’s. It also issued a statement that it was “aware of a misprint on the packaging of the Mattel ‘Wicked’ collection dolls, primarily sold in the United States, which intended to direct consumers to the official WickedMovie.com landing page.” The company advised consumers who already have the dolls to “discard the product packaging or obscure the link.”

Neither Universal nor Mattel responded to request for comment.
After “Wicked” opened in theaters, Universal’s chief marketing officer Michael Moses told Variety he didn’t think the snafu was harmful to ticket sales for the film. The movie musical collected a dazzling $112 million in its debut and has since grossed $263 million domestically and $360 million globally.

“I don’t think that all press is good press. I always categorize incidents between what might actually damage the desire to see the movie and what might not,” he said. “I think that was an example of one that’s an anecdote more than a threat.”

Will Smith to Headline France’s 2025 Positiv Festival

Will Smith appears to be ramping up his return to music with the announcement of a summer 2025 set at France’s Positiv Festival next summer. The Bad Boys actor will mark his first-ever concert in France on July 31 when he takes the stage at the Roman Theatre of Orange.
According to an announcement from the festival, the Oscar and Grammy-winning star will play a set of hits, including “Men in Black,” “Miami” and “Gettin’ Jiggy Wit It,” among others. “A unique performance that will bring together more generations of fans of Will Smith’s inimitable energy!,” read the post.

Smith has not released a studio album since 2005, when he dropped his fourth full-length solo LP, Lost and Found, which topped out at No. 6 on the Billboard 200 album chart. After launching his movie career in the early 1990s, Smith has mostly focused on acting, most recently appearing in Bad Boys: Ride or Die. He won an Oscar for his work in the biographical tennis drama King Richard in 2022, collecting the hardware after he stormed the stage and slapped Chris Rock after the comedian made a joke referencing Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith.

The actor eventually apologized for the incident and resigned from the Motional Picture Academy — which meant he can no longer vote for the Oscars, but can sill be nominated — followed by the organization announcing that he will be banned from the Oscars for the next decade.

Smith has been teasing a return to music, including recently dropping a new single, “Work of Art,” which features his son, Jaden Smith, as well as rapper Russ. In April, Smith made a surprise cameo during J. Balvin’s Coachella set, followed by the live debut of his gospel-tinged song “You Can Make It” at June’s BET Awards.

Earlier this year, Smith first discussed his upcoming album — tentatively titled Dance in Your Darkest Moments — saying, “Over the past year and a half, I’ve been in the studio. I have a project that is the most personal and powerful music project I’ve ever done. The idea of the music is, ‘Dance in your darkest moments.'” In July, Smith, who released his first three albums on Columbia Records and Lost and Found on Interscope, signed to Slang Music Group, home to Big Sean, Mira Black, Niki Lynette, Savvy & Mandy and Syleena Johnson.

Roc Nation Announces “Corruption Uncovered” Podcast Examining Corruption Within the Kansas City, Kansas Police
Jay-Z and Roc Nation are taking their social justice reform efforts to new heights with a podcast that will examine the many misconduct accusations against the Kansas City, Kansas police department.

Team Roc, Roc Nation’s social justice division, has announced the launch of “Corruption Uncovered,” a true crime podcast that will explore the intricate systemic failures within the Kansas City, Kansas criminal justice system. The first episode will debut on December 6th. The podcast will focus on the long-standing allegations of corruption within the Kansas City, Kansas, police department, coinciding with the scheduled trial of former detective Roger Golubski, who faces federal charges for extorting and raping Black women and teenagers. Golubski’s case is part of a broader investigation into the KCKPD’s practices and their effects on the community. Unfortunately, Golubski took his own life on Monday, the day his trial was set to begin.

“Corruption Uncovered” aims to highlight the consequences of this corruption, offering insights from survivors, impacted families, community members, attorneys, and activists. Dania Diaz, Team Roc’s managing director, emphasized the need for “powerful and comprehensive storytelling” to amplify the voices of the silenced and expose systemic issues. The podcast seeks to be an investigative platform to demand accountability and drive systemic change.

The series will also dive into the details of Golubski’s trial, shedding light on the pervasive impact of police misconduct. Journalist Josie Duffy Rice, known for her work on criminal justice issues, will host the podcast, which is executive produced by Team Roc, Kat Aaron, Je-Anne Berry, and Josie Duffy Rice, with Pineapple Street Studios producing the series.
In November, Roc Nation filed a lawsuit against the KCKPD and the Unified Government, claiming they conspired to block a public records request related to the allegations.
