#RHOA: Cynthia Bailey Says She's Been a 'Mess' Since Going Public with Her New Boyfriend LePrince
Going public with her new relationship hasn't been easy for Cynthia Bailey. The former Real Housewives of Atlanta star, 58, confessed that her life has been somewhat of "a mess" since her relationship with Amsterdam musician LePrince, 38, made headlines on March 4.
"Now, we can't go anywhere, but you know what? The cat is out of the bag," she told TMZ. "[We're] still staying off social media. I personally just don't feel like social media is a place that promotes love. It's very toxic, and I've been through it."

She continued, "I've been through marriages, through divorces, and I've met someone I really like, and I just really want a fair chance to just kind of get to know him, not in a public way."
Though the couple wants to keep certain aspects of their relationship private, Bailey clarified that she had no plans to "hide" if people were to catch them living their lives outside. Before going public, the reality star and the musical artist kept their romance under wraps for nearly a year.

When asked how they kept their relationship a secret for so long, Bailey pointed out that the two were both public figures and learned to "move quietly" and "pick and choose where to go."
"I wouldn't have brought him on a red carpet back then and now that we're out, you know, I have a big birthday party coming up, I'm on the cover of Bella Magazine, and we're celebrating it, and he will be there," she continued.

"It's kind of a relief, because now we can just really be outside and not worry about like ducking anyone," Bailey added. "We're very free now, just not on social media."
Earlier this month, the Bravolebrity was seen cozying with her new boyfriend, LePrince, at Los Angeles International Airport while catching a flight back to Atlanta. TMZ — with whom LePrince, 38, shared that he specializes in mixing reggae and electronic music and works as a singer, producer and DJ — captured the moment.

In a statement shared with Media thereafter, Bailey confirms: “I've been dating talented Amsterdam-based Reggatronic Hard Dance musician Le’Prince for nearly a year.”

“We've chosen to keep our relationship off social media to focus on each other without outside distractions,” she continued. “We've traveled a lot together, including my trips to Amsterdam and Switzerland to see him perform. We're happy and excited to see where our relationship goes!
While speaking at a Bravo Fan Fest panel in November 2024, Bailey first revealed she was happily dating a younger man.
“I’m dating an amazing young guy, from Amsterdam,” she said at the time. “I wasn’t looking for a young guy. He found me.”

#HipHopNews: Eminem's Sound Engineer Arrested By FBI For Allegedly Stealing And Selling His Music
A man who once worked for Detroit rapper Eminem is facing serious legal consequences. Joseph Strange, 46, from Holly, Michigan, has been charged with criminal infringement of a copyright and interstate transportation of stolen goods. The charges stem from allegations that Strange stole unreleased music created by Eminem and sold it on the internet.

Strange worked as a sound engineer for Eminem at a recording studio in Ferndale, Michigan, from 2007 until 2021. According to reports, Strange had exclusive access to secure hard drives containing the unreleased music.
The FBI began their investigation in January when several studio employees tipped them off about the leaked tracks. The unreleased music, reportedly dating from 1999 to 2018, made its way online, causing significant financial and reputational damage.

"Eminem and his team are very appreciative of the efforts by the FBI Detroit bureau for its thorough investigation which led to the charges against Joe Strange. The significant damage caused by a trusted employee to Eminem's artistic legacy and creative integrity cannot be overstated, let alone the enormous financial losses incurred by the many creators and collaborators that deserve protection for their decades of work. We will continue to take any and all steps necessary to protect Eminem's art and will stop at nothing to do so." - Eminem's spokesperson Dennis Dennehy

Strange allegedly sold the music to several individuals, including someone known as "Doja Rat," who admitted to paying $50,000 in Bitcoin for the tracks. The FBI seized hard drives during a raid on Strange's residence that contained approximately 12,000 audio files, handwritten lyric sheets, and other unreleased material from Eminem.
Prosecutors emphasize the severity of the crime, highlighting the necessity of protecting intellectual property.

Acting U.S. Attorney Julie Beck stated, "Protecting intellectual property from thieves is critical in safeguarding the exclusive rights of creators and protecting their original work from reproduction and distribution by individuals who seek to profit from the creative output of others."

FBI Special Agent Cheyvoryea Gibson added, "Thanks to the cooperation of Mathers Music Studio, FBI agents from the Oakland County Resident Agency were able to swiftly enforce federal laws and ensure Joseph Strange was held accountable for his actions."

If convicted, Joseph Strange faces a maximum of five years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000 for copyright infringement. Additionally, he could face up to 10 years in prison if found guilty of interstate transportation of stolen goods.
The case continues to draw attention to the vulnerabilities artists face in an era where digital theft is ever prevalent.

George Foreman, heavyweight boxing champion, dies at 76

Former heavyweight boxing champion George Foreman, known as much for his gregarious personality as his vicious right hook, died Friday. He was 76 years old.
A two-time heavyweight champion, he also won gold at the 1968 Mexico City Olympics and later saw success, in his post-boxing career, pitching the now-omnipresent countertop grill that bears his name.

Foreman's family announced his death in a post on Instagram.

"A devout preacher, a devoted husband, a loving father, and a proud grand and great grandfather, he lived a life marked by unwavering faith, humility, and purpose," the statement said. "A humanitarian, an Olympian, and two-time heavyweight champion of the world, He was deeply respected — a force for good, a man of discipline, conviction, and a protector of his legacy, fighting tirelessly to preserve his good name— for his family."

No cause of death was provided by his family
Born Jan. 10, 1949, Foreman was the fifth of seven children and grew up "in the toughest neighborhood in Houston," he wrote in his book "George Foreman's Guide To Life: How to Get Up Off the Canvas When Life Knocks You Down," which was published in 2003. "I didn't have a lot to look forward to in life. At least I didn't think I did. I was hungry all the time; I dropped out of school in the eighth grade; I relied on my size and my fists to make my way."

At the 1968 Olympics in Mexico City, Foreman, then 19, had already developed what ESPN would go on to call his "wrecking ball fists," and defeated Soviet opponent Jonas Cepulis. The referee had to stop the fight before the end of the second round.
Foreman won his first heavyweight title at just 24 with a stunning knockout of the then-undefeated world champion Joe Frazier in 1973.
Billed as The Rumble in the Jungle, Foreman’s most famous fight ended in his first professional loss to Muhammad Ali in October 1974. He surrendered the heavyweight title in the knockout loss.

But he would regain the belt after a 10-year retirement in a fight in 1994 against Michael Moorer at 45 years old.
In the pivot to entrepreneur, Foreman saw success in the 1990s promoting the "George Foreman Lean Mean Fat Reducing Grilling Machine," a staple on TV infomercials and home-shopping channels, which was known for its ridged and slanted cooking surface that was designed to allow fat to slide off the grill.
"There's hardly a single lesson I've learned in life that didn't come the hard way ... Everyone in life goes through a hard time sometime, but you can't let that define who you are," he wrote in his 2003 book. "What defines you is how you come back from those troubles and what you find in life to smile about."

Dawn Robinson Updates Fans About Car-Living Situation, Says She’s “Not Homeless”
Dawn Robinson is attempting to temper the narratives circulating the web about her living situation. Earlier this month, the R&B star opened up to her supporters and revealed she has been living in her car for the past few years. After her March 11 YouTube video went viral, she is now clarifying her comments.
“I am not homeless. I am temporarily choosing car life as part of my journey of healing and self-discovery,” she explained in a statement to People on March 21.

“I took a risk and jumped headfirst into this lifestyle, and WOW, what a crazy, fun, sometimes scary ride it’s been,” the En Vogue singer continued. “For me, failure is NOT an option. Being vulnerable sucks, but here I GROW. This is about embracing freedom, trusting the process, and finding strength in the unexpected.” Watch her original video below.
“Sometimes in life, we end up in situations that we weren’t expecting. There’s something we need to learn or teach, but we’re too afraid to push ourselves out of our comfort zones to do it — so the universe does it for us! During this growth period, we either learn to trust ourselves or give in to fear and fail.”

The former Lucy Pearl member also made an important announcement that she has not authorized any fundraising campaigns on her behalf, and urged fans to be vigilant about the fake pages. “I’ve been made aware that some individuals may be requesting funds on my behalf through platforms like Cash App, GoFundMe or other means,” she said. “I want to be clear: I have not authorized any fundraising campaigns, and I do not want anyone — especially my loyal fans — to be scammed or taken advantage of.”

Dawn Robinson made the decision to live out of her car on March 9, 2022. She explained in her 18-minute YouTube video the series of events that led up to her choice, which included factors like familial conflict and her former manager allegedly taking advantage of her situation.
Although it was unknown territory, the “Hold On” artist felt good about the choice she made. “I felt free,” she shared about her verdict “I felt like I was on a camping trip. It just felt like it was the right thing to do.” She pointed out that a lot of other celebrities have lived in their cars during their respective journeys, including Marvin Gaye. She has since shared on her Instagram that she is “overwhelmed” by the love she has received and assured her supporters to not worry about her.

Muni Long Responds To Mariah Carey Tribute Criticism: “I Did My Best”

Muni Long has issued a response to fans who had critiques about her tribute to Mariah Carey. On Monday (March 17), the R&B singer performed “We Belong Together” in Carey’s honor at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards as the veteran was being honored as an industry icon.
During her time on stage, a camera panned to Mariah Carey as she looked away. The internet memed the moment and suggested the Butterfly singer’s face was a message about Muni Long’s delivery. After the event, Muni Long took to TikTok to address the alleged shade-throwing side-eye.

“The people that’s got a lot to say, you don’t understand how this paying homage and having respect for people…” the 36-year-old explained. “She asked me to do it… You thought I chose to get on TV and sing a Mariah Carey song? You thought that was my choice? Why would I do that? Nobody can sing Mariah’s songs like Mariah. Nobody.”
The “Made For Me” performer continued to explain, “I did my best, and that’s all I can do.”

Elsewhere in the live broadcast, she explained, “She told me I did a great job, she appreciated it. And that’s it. Once again, if she pushed me down the stairs, if she told me she hated it, I would say thank you. That’s what I would say.”
Mariah Carey also responded to the critique, uplifting both Muni Long and Tori Kelly, who also sang during the tribute.
“So beyond grateful for these two gorgeous, uber-talented, kind, incredible musicians who made my heart so full of joy with their tribute performances at the @iheartradio awards,” wrote the 55-year-old on her Instagram story.
“I love and appreciate you so much!!!”

Jonathan Majors Breaks Silence On Audio Admitting To Have “Aggressed” His Ex-GF

Jonathan Majors has addressed newly surfaced audio exclusively obtained by Rolling Stone, in which he appeared to admit to having “aggressed” his then-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari, during their 2022 altercation.
When asked about the recording, Majors ultimately refrained from directly commenting, but instead emphasized his ongoing personal growth.

“I was so grateful that I had done my work, you know? And I’m continuing to do my work,” he told Complex. “Because, I mean, I can’t speak to it. But obviously — because you’re talking about it. There were vibrations, you know? Reverberations. Same as everything before, you know? But I was just — I was happy I’d done my work, you know? I was happy I had done my work.”

The unearthed audio, recorded while the couple lived together in London during the filming of the Disney+ series Loki’s second season, captured Majors expressing remorse. “I’m ashamed I’ve ever —,” he begins before cutting himself off.
“I’ve never [been] aggressive with a woman before. I’ve never aggressed a woman — I aggressed you.” Jabbari then interjects, “You strangled me and pushed me against the car.” Majors replies, “Yes, all those things are under ‘aggressed,’ yeah. That’s never happened to me.”

Majors, known for his role in the Michael B. Jordan film Creed III, was convicted in December 2023 on two counts of misdemeanor assault against Grace Jabbari, who alleged that Majors attacked her in the back of an SUV. He was ordered by a judge to complete a 52-week domestic violence intervention program after being found guilty of misdemeanor assault and harassment of Jabbari.

The verdict led to his swift dismissal from Marvel, where he portrayed Kang the Conqueror and his variants in Loki and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. His sentencing, however, did not include jail time.
The audio leak coincidentally surfaced following news that he and Meagan Good tied the knot in a private ceremony earlier this month. The couple announced their engagement at the EBONY Power 100 Gala in November. Despite his newest headlines, Majors is promoting his latest film, Magazine Dreams, which is now in theaters.

Regina Hall to star in Will Ferrell’s next comedy
Regina Hall will star with Will Ferrell and Zac Efron in a new untitled comedy from Amazon MGM Studios. This collaboration brings together three powerhouse comedic talents who have established themselves among Hollywood’s most bankable stars.
The trio will work with director Nicholas Stoller, who is directing the project from his own script, which was previously titled Judgment Day, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Stoller is known for his successful comedies including Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Neighbors, which have become modern classics in the genre.

The new comedy tells the story of a young convict (Efron) fresh out of prison as he takes a reality TV courtroom hostage because he blames the megalomaniac judge (Ferrell) for a past ruling that he believes has ruined his life. The premise draws inspiration from the increasing popularity of court TV shows, which have become a staple of daytime television programming worldwide.

Hall’s role in movie hasn’t been revealed
No details of Hall’s role have been released. Hall, whose recent performances in “Girls Trip” and “Support the Girls” earned critical acclaim, has established herself as one of Hollywood’s most versatile comedic actresses with an impressive filmography spanning television and film.

The movie will reunite Ferrell with Stoller, after they previously worked together on You’re Cordially Invited with Reese Witherspoon. Their previous collaboration was among the most anticipated comedy projects of the year, demonstrating the industry’s confidence in their creative partnership.
Ferrell, Jessica Elbaum and Alex Brown will produce for Gloria Sanchez Productions and Stoller will produce for Stoller Global Solutions. Gloria Sanchez Productions has been behind several critically acclaimed comedies in recent years, including “Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar” and has a first-look deal with Netflix.

Meanwhile, Zac is set to play dual roles in his upcoming movie ‘Famous’, which is set in Los Angeles and explores the dark side of celebrity. This marks Efron’s first dual role in a feature film, a creative challenge that showcases his growth as an actor since his early career.
Efron will play overenthusiastic fan Lance Dunkquist and Hollywood heartthrob James Jansen in the flick that is being directed by Jody Hill. Hill, co-creator of “Eastbound & Down,” has developed a reputation for dark comedy with biting social commentary that has influenced many contemporary filmmakers.

“Lance Dunkquist has one asset that’s about to change his life – he has the face of a movie star. And not just any movie star – Lance is the spitting image of Hollywood icon, James Jansen. Lance is about to travel to Los Angeles to make his dream come true. Lance is going to be famous, no matter what it takes…” reads a synopsis. The film explores themes of identity and celebrity obsession, topics that have become increasingly relevant in today’s social media-driven culture.
Zac rose to fame as Troy Bolton in Disney’s ‘High School Musical’ franchise and explained that he wanted to challenge himself as an actor by taking parts that audiences might not have expected after moving on from the series. The “High School Musical” franchise catapulted Efron to global stardom and established him as a teen idol before his transition to more diverse adult roles.

“I’m constantly faced with two paths. The road that leads to something everybody has already seen or is expecting, or the more challenging road, which tends to be a bit more confusing and definitely the harder road to take. And inevitably I always go with that road when I can,” he said. This philosophy has guided Efron’s career choices, leading to critically acclaimed performances in a variety of genres.
The untitled Amazon MGM Studios comedy is expected to be a significant addition to the streaming platform’s original content lineup. The project represents Amazon’s continued investment in star-driven comedies as they compete for dominance in the increasingly crowded streaming marketplace.

A unique blend of comic styles
This collaboration between Hall, Ferrell, and Efron brings together actors from different comedy backgrounds, promising a unique blend of comedic styles. Hall‘s subtle, character-driven approach complements Ferrell’s larger-than-life performances and Efron’s evolution from teen heartthrob to versatile actor.
Director Nicholas Stoller’s track record of creating memorable comedic moments while maintaining emotional authenticity suggests this project will likely balance humor with genuine character development. His previous work has shown a talent for ensemble casts and finding the humanity in outlandish situations.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z considering major lawsuit against Kanye

Beyoncé and Jay-Z are reportedly considering legal action against Kanye West. The potential lawsuit comes amid escalating tensions between the former friends, which have played out across social media platforms in recent weeks.
The pair are said to be weighing up the move after scandal-plagued rapper Kanye, 47, made inflammatory social media comments about their seven-year-old twins Rumi and Sir. Kanye’s remarks are the latest in a series of controversial statements that have damaged his public image and business relationships over the past several years.

He posted now-deleted remarks questioning the mental abilities of the children, apparently now prompting power couple and his former friends Beyoncé and Jay-Z to explore possible responses. “They are discussing how to handle the situation, whether privately or through legal channels,” a source told Page Six. The situation highlights the increasingly complex intersection of celebrity, social media, and privacy rights in the digital age.

The source emphasized Beyoncé, 42, and Jay-Z, 54, “will absolutely not tolerate” Kanye’s comments about their children, calling the language he used “vulgar and offensive.” The couple has previously maintained strict boundaries regarding media coverage of their family, particularly their younger children.
Even though Kanye later removed the post about their children, he denied doing so out of remorse. His explanation suggests the removal was motivated by self-preservation rather than recognition of wrongdoing.

“I need everyone to know that I took the post about Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s family down… because there was a possibility of my Twitter being cancelled,” he wrote on X. Platform policies regarding harassment and targeted abuse have become increasingly stringent, particularly when minors are involved.

Kim Kardashian, 44, Kanye’s ex-wife, is also reportedly outraged by his comments. The reality star and businesswoman has been navigating a complicated co-parenting relationship with West since their divorce was finalized.
“Kim has had enough and she’s done trying to be reasonable with Kanye when it comes to communication,” a source added to Page Six. Their relationship has been strained by numerous public outbursts from West that have affected their four shared children.

The insider also said regardless of whatever issues Kanye has with Beyoncé and Jay-Z, Kim firmly believes “kids are off-limits”, describing his comments as both “shocking and offensive.” This sentiment echoes widely held beliefs about celebrity children’s right to privacy, especially regarding mental health and developmental discussions.

While their eldest daughter, Blue Ivy, 12, has been in the public eye since birth, Beyoncé and Jay-Z have taken a more private approach with Rumi and Sir, who have never attended red carpet events or award shows with their parents since their birth in June 2017. The twins have largely been shielded from public scrutiny, making West’s comments particularly boundary-crossing.
The reports of potential legal action come after Kim reportedly ended an arranged visit between Kanye and their 11-year-old daughter, North, upon learning that highly controversial influencers Andrew Tate, 37, and Tristan Tate, 36, were also expected to be present. The Tate brothers have faced serious legal troubles, which has raised concerns about appropriate influences around minor children.

Kanye recently made allegations against Kim, accusing her of exploiting their children in a series of deleted posts on X. These accusations represent another chapter in their ongoing public disputes about parenting approaches and boundaries.
They followed North’s appearance in a TikTok video and song with FKA Twigs. North West has shown interest in creative pursuits, but her parents have disagreed about her appropriate level of public exposure.

Legal experts suggest that any lawsuit from Beyoncé and Jay-Z could potentially focus on defamation, particularly since the comments targeted minors who cannot defend themselves in the public sphere. The case would likely draw significant media attention given the high-profile nature of all parties involved.
The situation highlights the challenges celebrities face in protecting their children’s privacy while maintaining their own public personas. Many high-profile parents have become increasingly protective of their children’s images and information, often taking legal action against individuals who violate these boundaries.

Industry insiders note that the former friendship between Kanye and Jay-Z, which produced the collaborative album “Watch the Throne” in 2011, has deteriorated significantly in recent years. This latest incident appears to have potentially severed any remaining connection between the once-close musical collaborators.

Her presence underscores the event’s commitment to transgender visibility and celebration, particularly meaningful during a time of increased challenges to transgender rights across the country.
Beyond the music, the festival will feature art installations, vendor marketplaces, food courts, and wellness areas spread across the festival grounds. Community organizations will also have a significant presence, offering resources and information to attendees throughout the weekend.

Security measures have been enhanced for the 2025 festival, with organizers working closely with local law enforcement to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all participants. The festival grounds will feature multiple entry points, accessible facilities, and dedicated support services.
Tickets for the Outloud Music Festival will go on sale in early January, with various pricing tiers available. VIP packages will include exclusive viewing areas, dedicated lounges, and special artist experiences, creating an elevated experience for festival attendees.

Last week it appeared Real Housewives of Atlanta ex husband Apollo Nida's second divorce was shaping up to be a nasty affair after his estranged second wife, Sherine, accused him of adultery and physical abuse [click here if you missed that].

Now it looks like the former couple have decided to stop fighting...
Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks’ ex-husband, Apollo Nida, is officially back on the market after finalizing his divorce from his ex Sherien Copes, In Touch can exclusively report.

The order said the parties are instructed to abide by the agreement they reached. The judge signed off on the divorce.

Kathy Griffin Seeks Public's Help To Identify 'Creeper' Harassing Her In Malibu
Kathy Griffin has taken to Instagram with a plea for help. In her post, the 64-year-old comedian shared an image of a man she alleges has been stalking and harassing her during her routine walks on Dume in Malibu.
Griffin, who has been a vocal critic of Donald Trump, mentioned that the man pestered her with questions about the MAGA ringleader.

Griffin described her unsettling encounters with the man, noting that he follows her in a pick-up truck and approaches her with a camera. "This #creeper has been harassing me on my daily walks on the Dume in Malibu," she wrote.
"It's not a 'celebrity' spot. He approaches me with his camera and asks me only questions about Trump and tells me that he can 'get Donald Trump to watch the video' of me."
To mitigate the risk, Griffin has started bringing her large dog on walks but still feels unsafe. She urged her followers to help identify the man, stating, "I wish I had a better picture for you guys. Can anybody identify this character? Please let me know. I never know when he is going to show up. I have never seen him photographing anyone else."

Fans and well-wishers quickly responded with advice and expressions of concern. One recommended hiring private security, noting the increased boldness of Trump supporters.

Another urged her to report the harassment to the police, while a third suggested documenting the incidents for the record, "Even if he's just trying to get a rise out of you, please walk with security. That's scary and unsafe. Also, call the cops, so there's record of this harassment besides social media."
Griffin's turbulent history with Trump dates back to a 2017 photoshoot where she was pictured holding a bloody, severed head resembling Trump. The backlash was immediate, including a tweet from Trump himself criticizing the stunt.

Though the Secret Service investigated Griffin, she was ultimately cleared of any wrongdoing. However, Griffin retracted her initial apology and has continued to publicly criticize Trump. She recently predicted that comedians, including herself, would be among the first targeted if Trump were to win the 2024 election.

Miley Cyrus Fails In Her Attempt To Dismiss 'Flowers' Lawsuit
Pop superstar Miley Cyrus is heading to trial. She is set to defend her Grammy-winning hit "Flowers" in a lawsuit that claims she copied Bruno Mars' 2013 track "When I Was Your Man."
A recent ruling by US District Judge Dean Pregerson has denied her request to dismiss the lawsuit, pushing her into a high-stakes legal battle that will scrutinize the similarities between these two popular songs.

Tempo Music Investments, who now owns a stake in "When I Was Your Man" after acquiring co-writer Philip Lawrence's catalogue in 2020, filed the lawsuit against Cyrus and her label, Sony Music, in September 2024. They allege that "Flowers" duplicates "numerous melodic, harmonic and lyrical elements" of Mars' emotional ballad, which topped the Billboard Hot 100 in 2013.

Judge Pregerson rejected Cyrus' argument that Tempo lacked the standing to sue, emphasizing that, "Tempo now steps into Lawrence's shoes and is a co-owner of the exclusive rights of the copyright."
Cyrus' legal team had contended that unless Tempo had "exclusive rights" to the song, they could not proceed with the lawsuit. However, the judge's ruling clarifies that partial ownership can be sufficient for filing a suit.

Tempo's lawyer, Alex Weingarten of Willkie Farr & Gallagher, expressed his satisfaction, noting the company is "thrilled but not the least surprised" by the decision and is "extremely confident in prevailing" as the case proceeds.
The trial will now dissect the musical components of both tracks, with Tempo seeking unspecified damages and demanding that "Flowers" be halted from streaming and sales.

Such a halt could deal a significant blow to Cyrus, whose song amassed over 1 billion streams on Spotify and won the Song of the Year Grammy award in 2024. "Any fan of Bruno Mars' When I Was Your Man knows that Miley Cyrus's Flowers did not achieve all of that success on its own," Tempo dissed Cyrus.

Adding to the intrigue is rumor that Cyrus' song is a jab at her ex-husband Liam Hemsworth, making this trial a fascinating watch for both legal and pop culture enthusiasts.
For Miley Cyrus herself, the stakes couldn't be higher, with both her reputation and a substantial amount of royalties on the line.

Actor Malik Yoba Says He’s No Longer A Black Man – He Now Prefers to be Called ‘Non-White Man’

Malik Yoba has seemingly come from out of nowhere to drop a bomb on social media. The actor/singer has publicly declared that he no longer identifies as a Black man or a person of color. Instead, he has opted to refer to himself as a “Non-White Man.”
This provocative assertion seems intent on challenging the societal constructs of racial identity and classification, raising questions about the relevance and impact of such labels in contemporary discussions on race.

Yoba, celebrated for his roles in popular series like “New York Undercover” and movies such as “Cool Runnings,” brought attention to his newly adopted identity in a post that has stirred widespread online commentary. His proclamation included a pointed message directed at the constructs of race:
“So what’s up, America? I decided that I’m no longer a black man, no longer a person of color. … We just all walk around like, I’m not a black man. I’m a non-white man.”

This statement not only redefines his personal racial identity but also implies a call for others to abandon conventional categorizations in favor of a more unified identifier.
The motivations behind Yoba’s radical reclassification remain an enigma, as he has not elaborated extensively on the rationale behind this provocative decision. Nevertheless, several interpretations arise from his call to action. Some observers propose that Yoba is attempting to instigate conversations around diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) policies, especially considering the ongoing debates about their implications and the current atmosphere of racial discourse in America.

His choice to identify as a non-White individual suggests a desire to emphasize a shared experience among diverse racial groups rather than allowing traditional racial categories to divide them.
Reactionary posts on social media reflect a spectrum of responses, from disbelief and confusion to amused critique. Comments on X and Lipstick Alley such as “What is this ni*ga talking about?” and “MALIK YOBA, a mf with one of the blackest names in the history of Negros no longer identifies as Black” indicate that some perceive his declaration as tongue-in-cheek or even satirical.

This contradiction showcases the polarized reactions and the confusion surrounding the contemporary conversations about racial identity, suggesting that for many, Yoba’s assertions may add more questions than answers.
Yoba’s assertion could also be interpreted as a critique of the very labels that have traditionally framed racial identity. By choosing terms like “non-White,” he may be attempting to redefine and challenge societal norms regarding race, encouraging individuals to confront the limitations and implications of such classifications. The notion of rejecting the term ‘Black’ or ‘Person of Color’ might be seen as an invitation to rethink how society categorizes people based on skin color, ethnicity, and cultural heritage.

His previous engagements on complex issues of identity resonate with his current declarations, hinting at a broader philosophical stance rather than simply a personal rebranding. In 2019, Yoba openly discussed topics of identity and attraction, reflecting his ongoing exploration of race and societal constructs. Thus, he may be leveraging his platform in ways designed to spark dialogue, albeit in an unorthodox and controversial fashion.

Social media conversations surrounding Yoba’s declarations are a testament to the intricate landscape of identity politics in America today. Reactions on platforms include dismissive proclamations such as “I don’t even know how to react to this dumb sh!t” and sarcastic quips regarding heterosexual identity. Such responses highlight the diverse interpretations and levels of acceptance of Yoba’s initiative, illustrating that concepts of race and identity continue to elicit strong emotional reactions, particularly from communities of color.
Ultimately, the full implications of Malik Yoba’s self-identification as a “Non-White Man” remain to be seen, as the conversation around identity continues to evolve. His provocative statement has undoubtedly opened the door for discussions around race, privilege, and the frameworks through which society understands these elements. With time, the discourse may clarify whether this is merely a personal decision or a significant social statement meant to provoke deeper reflections on the nature of racial identity.

Trina’s Husband, Benjamin Kearse Jr., Arrested for Allegedly Fracturing Man’s Nose in 2023
Trina’s husband and “Love & Hip Hop: Miami” star Benjamin Leon Kearse Jr., aka Swurv, has been arrested for battery stemming from a punch police say happened nearly two years ago.
TMZ obtained the police report detailing Kearse’s March 20th arrest in Miami. According to the docs, a man claimed he was crossing the street in July 2023 when Kearse’s black Dodge Charger abruptly stopped at a stop sign, causing the man’s hand to strike the trunk.

The man told cops Kearse called out to him, but when he approached the vehicle to explain, Kearse allegedly became irate and aggressive, eventually following him to a nearby residence.

According to the alleged victim, Kearse then got out of his car and punched him multiple times—fracturing his nose. Police later reviewed surveillance footage and determined the man’s account checked out.
Following their investigation, officers arrested Kearse and took him to Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center for booking.
“Da Baddest” and Kearse tied the knot in May 2024 in a secret ceremony. Neither has spoken publicly about the incident.
