#RHOA: Porsha Williams’ Ex Simon Still Locked Up By ICE, to Be Taken to Divorce Court by Federal Agents
Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams’ estranged husband, Simon Guobadia, remains locked up in an ICE detention center and may be taken to an upcoming divorce hearing by federal agents, In Touch can exclusively report.
On May 1, the judge presiding over Porsha, 43, and Simon’s divorce battle set a hearing on the reality star’s plea to enforce the prenuptial agreement they signed before getting hitched.

A hearing on the motion was scheduled to take place on April 30. Porsha and her attorney appeared for the hearing, but Simon, 60, was “unable to appear due to his current detention by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.”
Simon’s lawyer argued, “The motion to enforce the Prenuptial Agreement is a substantive motion that requires findings of fact by this Court. The outcome of the motion will also have a substantial effect on how the remainder of the divorce case proceeds, as it may be dispositive of some of the issues and result in litigation on others.”

In the recent court order, the judge noted, “Counsels for [Simon] indicate that the ICE agency has advised that upon receiving a production order, arrangements will be made to transport [Simon] to physically appear in Court at the Fulton County courthouse.”
The judge granted Simon’s request for a continuance and set the matter for June 11. The order instructed Simon’s lawyer to draft a proposed production order, which would tell ICE to bring Simon to the upcoming hearing, for him to sign.

The court noted that if Simon is released from ICE custody prior to June 11 and is unable to physically attend the hearing in person, “[Simon] should provide this court with as much advance notice as possible to allow this court to make arrangements for the hearing to occur via remote proceedings, and the parties and counsel may attend the hearing remotely.”

A source close to Simon tells In Touch that the businessman remains locked up in an ICE detention center.
The source said he was expected to be released a couple of weeks ago but still has yet to be.
Simon opposed the prenup being enforced. He argued Porsha made misrepresentations during the prenup negotiations.
Simon’s lawyer argued, “The Wife failed to disclose that she would return to her employment on The Real Housewives of Atlanta as a cast member. Instead of disclosing this material fact, the Wife made it very clear to the Husband (and the public) that she was leaving the television show and not returning. The Husband relied on the representations — or misrepresentations — his Wife made to him during their engagement, the negotiation phase, and at the time that the parties signed the Prenuptial Agreement.”

The attorney continued, “But for the Wife’s misrepresentations to the Husband about leaving and not returning to RHOA as a cast member, the Husband would not have signed off on the Prenuptial Agreement terms that requires him to pay a substantial financial obligation to the Wife totaling over hundreds of thousands of dollars and terms that require him to split the equity of his $7,000,000 million pre-marital home (the Marital Residence) with the Wife, and pay significant debts and expenses for the Wife’s benefit.”

For her part, Porsha scoffed at her ex’s accusations. She also slammed Simon for the delays in the divorce.
Her lawyer noted, “Husband’s detention by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement is the direct result of his attempt to illegally enter the United States. This detention is a foreseeable legal consequence of his actions and not an act of ‘divine intervention’ as claimed. Wife has vocalized her concerns about Husband’s questionable immigration status throughout this litigation, and Husband was fully aware of his longstanding immigration challenges, including multiple denials of his citizenship requests. Given this history, Husband should have foreseen the possibility of detention and is solely responsible for the consequences of his actions.”

The case is ongoing.

#NewMusic from Rihanna Returns With New Song “Friend Of Mine” For ‘Smurfs’ Film

Performing artist Rihanna is back…well…sort of. The FENTY mogul took a break from running her beauty and fashion empires to return to music. Revealed in the trailer for the 2025 Smurfs film, the Bajan R&B star will release the brand new “Friend Of Mine” song for the animation, with the track set to be released on Friday (May 16).

LISTEN HERE

The 37-year-old stars in the family cartoon as Smurfette. Additionally, Smurfs features the voice talents of John Goodman, James Corden, Nick Offerman, and Sandra Oh. The soundtrack will also feature the previously released “Higher Love” recorded by DESI TRILL, DJ Khaled and Cardi B.

“I tried to get the Papa Smurf role but It didn’t work out,” joked Riri in 2023 when the casting decision was announced. “Getting to do animation is a fun journey for me. I’m usually front and center with everything with my likeness…but this was fun, I got to imagine, I got to show up in my pajamas in my third trimester, and be a blue badass.”

While she brought Smurfette to life while pregnant with her second son, Riot, the fashion-forward performer is expecting, once again. At the annual Met Gala earlier this month, she and current romantic partner revealed the singer is pregnant for the third time.

Fans have even speculated that the powerhouse couple is expecting twins.
“And I’m glad everybody’s happy for us ‘cause we definitely happy, you know […] Honestly, it’s a blessing nonetheless,” shared A$AP Rocky of the moment. “Because you know how like some people in other situations at times can be envious of other people. But we’ve been seeing love for the most part. And we real receptive to that and appreciate that, you know what I mean? […] That’s love. Love is love.”

#HipHopNews: Rapper LGP QUA Killed In Robbery Attempt Philadelphia Police Hunt for Three Suspects
LGP QUA was gunned down during an attempted robbery in Philadelphia on Mother’s Day, as police now search for three suspects
The 30-year-old Hip-Hop artist and community advocate, born Qidere Johnson, was shot in the chest around 4:45 P.M. on Sunday (May 11) near M Street and East Luzerne Street in the Juniata Park section, according to Philadelphia police.

He was rushed to Temple University Hospital, where he died shortly before 5 P.M.
Investigators believe QUA and a friend were targeted in a robbery that escalated into gunfire, ABC6 Action News reports.
Surveillance footage captured two men walking near the scene before one approached a vehicle, and a flash appeared—believed to be the fatal shot.

Authorities have not yet made any arrests but are actively pursuing three suspects and reviewing additional evidence.
A $20,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and conviction.
QUA was widely recognized for his music, which tackled gun violence and systemic issues, as well as his activism.

He donated $10,000 to his former elementary school and often used his platform to uplift Philadelphia’s youth.
His death has drawn widespread grief, including from fellow rapper Meek Mill. “Killing ambitious young bulls like this on Mother’s Day is a Philly type of thing,” he wrote on Instagram. “This will change you. Sending prayers to your family, and let’s gather those guns. It’s sad out here.”
LGP QUA’s mother, Tamara Davis told NBC10 Philadelphia “It’s hurting because I’m still waiting for my son to walk up the block for Mother’s Day.”

She added, “I never had the chance to hug my son for Mother’s Day. I believe in my heart that I’m going to see my son again.”

Terrence Howard’s Daughter, Heaven, Reveals She Was Molested By Her Cousin

Earlier this week, Heaven Howard, Terrence Howard‘s third child, revealed on Instagram that she was molested by her cousin at age 7.
“I forgive him,” she explained in the emotional video. She shared this because of her new short film, Princess Love— though noted that her heart was racing and she wasn’t completely sure if she was ready to speak about the incident.

“I don’t cry because of him. It’s not that. I hurt for him because when he was two years old— he was just a baby. He was raped, so when he was 12, he did something to me,” Heaven stated. “He deserved to be protected, but he wasn’t.”
Heaven continued and expressed that she was “so thankful” for Chris Dabney, the writer-director behind Princess Love and his portrayal of generational abuse.

“I don’t think I have many words, but let the story guide you,” she shared. “I am so lucky to be apart of it. I’m so grateful to be able to speak and put a name to it. I am not afraid. I am not ashamed. I am proud […] Do not pity me. Watch and understand that this happens. Don’t look away.”

Princess Love centers around 16-year-old Madison (Howard) who becomes pregnant from a sexual assault after losing her mother. Per IMDb, “Alone, scared and confused, she decides to take matters into her own hands as she turns to the only person she has left— her father, Mark [played by Eric Roberts].”

It is currently available on demand via Prime Video, Apple TV, and YouTube.

Cassie Compared Diddy To Ike Turner, Says “Freak-Offs” Often Turned Violent!
Cassie Ventura’s second day on the witness stand in Sean “Diddy” Combs’ sex trafficking trial found the R&B singer recalling the physical abuse she suffered at his hands, saying at one point, she texted Combs comparing him to Ike Turner, who infamously abused wife and rock music icon, Tina Turner, for years.
During her Wednesday (May 14) testimony, NBC News reports Cassie read a text message she sent to Combs after an abusive episode aloud, saying, “You treat me like Ike Turner.” She went on to say on the stand, “He was abusive and controlling, he was physically abusive, he put me down a lot as much as I would be built up, the sheer embarrassment, how he treated me in front of other people.”

She also testified to being injured during “freak-offs” due to Diddy becoming violent if things didn’t go exactly as he wanted.
“Sean would put his hands on me, he would push me down … kick me,” she told the courtroom. “There were other times, if we were having a bad time or if I was scared of him, uncomfortable, typically I would leave and go out the back of the hotel.” When asked by prosecutors how often Combs would injure her during the “freak-offs,” she replied, “Too often.”

She also says the frequency of the freak-offs led to urinary tract infections, mouth sores and gastrointestinal issues. “When we were having frequent ‘freak offs’ — they were back to back — and sometimes I would do a ‘freak off’ with the infection,” she said. “I tried to flush it out with water. I got to the point where CIPRO (an antibiotic) didn’t work anymore. It was a mess.” She added that the mouth sores were a result of constantly performing oral sex with lubricant.

The “Long Way 2 Go” artist also recalled fighting Combs off at one point and gashing her face in the process, testifying, “Sean came in. I was asleep. He was trying to attack me. We went into the master bedroom. My friends were jumping on his back trying to stop him. I cut my eyebrow on the corner of the bed. Sean threw me onto the bed frame. I had a significant gash. I didn’t go to the ER; it was a Sunday. Sean had security take me to a plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills.”

After the incident, she texted Combs a photo of her injury captioned, “so you can remember.” The Bad Boy founder then responded, “You dont know when to stop, you have pushed it too far.”
“Just say sorry,” she replied. “I dont know why i deserve that, you could care less if i was ok.”

Halle Bailey Granted Temporary Sole Physical & Legal Custody of Son Halo After Ex DDG's Alleged Abuse
Halle Bailey and DDG‘s son 16-month-old son Halo will be in her primary care for the next several weeks.
On Wednesday (May 14), it was revealed that the 25-year-old singer/actress has been granted temporary sole physical and legal custody of the toddler after she accused the 27-year-old rapper/YouTuber, whose real name is Daryl Dwayne Granberry Jr., of allegedly attacking her on several occasions.

Halle officially petitioned the court for sole custody on May 13. Halo will remain in The Little Mermaid star’s custody until her and DDG‘s court hearing on June 4, according to Page Six.

Halle was granted temporary sole and legal custody after she she was granted a temporary restraining order against DDG after he allegedly attacked her.
Given the temporary restraining order, DDG must keep at least 100 yards away from both Halle and Halo, including her home and vehicle, and is barred from personally contacting her, according to E! News.

Additionally, DDG is not allowed any visitation with Halo until “further order of the court.”

En Vogue Reveals Their Song ‘Hold On’ Almost Didn’t Happen

En Vogue is one of the greatest vocal groups of all time. Hailing from Oakland, California, the original lineup consisted of four talented singers: Terry Ellis, Dawn Robinson, Cindy Herron, and Maxine Jones. 35 years later, with Rhona Bennett, a member since 2003, the group is celebrating its anniversary.

Appearing on The Jennifer Hudson Show, the group knew they had something organic and hoped to share their gifts with the world.
“We knew we had something special. We just didn’t know that it was going to take off. We felt the chemistry. We just didn’t know if it was going to succeed,” Herron said.

Hudson then asked how the group came up with its name.
“We put some names in a pot, and we settled on the name Vogue. Then, of course, we couldn’t use Vogue because of the Vogue magazine, “Ellis said. “And there was a group called The Vogues. So our producers came up with the idea to add the “En”, and we loved it.”

Jones, who returned her to the group in 2025 after a long hiatus, shared excitement about being back on with the ladies.
Amazingly, the group’s classic first single “Hold On” was almost shelved by the label.
“Well, “Hold On” was our first single, but the label didn’t love it. They didn’t think it was a radio song, but our producer fought for it to get released as a single,” Herron recalled. “The label decided to service radio with “Hold On”, without the acapella, but somehow radio discovered the acapella. And that was the song that caught on, and it just took off overnight. This was the journey.”

Tamar Braxton Says Kandi Burruss Needs to Be a “Better Person” While Addressing Longstanding Beef

Tamar Braxton has once again slammed her longtime rival, Kandi Burruss, even suggesting the singer isn’t as sweet as she appears.
The “Love & War” singer appeared on “The Nene Leakes Show,” where she was asked to explain her ongoing feud with the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum. That’s when Braxton launched into a pointed critique of Burruss.

“Kandi, if you’re watching, and we know you’re watching, the thing is this: We don’t know. We don’t have an issue with you. We’re not jealous of you. We actually celebrate your success. No, seriously. But you got to be a better person,” Braxton said.
As Leakes smirked, Braxton continued unloading her frustrations.

“And the reason why you gotta be a better person is because it’s not fair to the people who have been following our careers, knowing that you are doing things behind the scenes, knowing that you are lying on people. No, it’s not fair. It’s not fair. Because we like you, we cheerlead for you.”

Braxton, who has previously taken shots at Burruss’ businesses, pushed back against the “hater” label often pinned on her.
“But for you to deliberately use the public’s opinion to manipulate them into thinking that people are really coming after you when we’re not, that’s not right,” she said. “To fall into that, that’s not fair. Because you know, I didn’t do nothing to you. I apologized to that girl in that conversation 15 times.”
Leakes said she’s open to a discussion with Burruss, but Braxton insists she won’t engage unless Burruss admits to lying.

Burruss has not yet responded.

Beauty influencer Valeria Marquez died May 13 after a man entered her Jalisco, Mexico, beauty salon and fatally shot her, according to a report from the local attorney general’s office, via translation. She was 23.
The attack occurred while Marquez was conducting a livestream on TikTok inside her Blossom Beauty Lounge, the attorney general’s office said. Video of the deadly incident subsequently circulated on various platforms, in which she seemed to clutch her abdomen before her body went limp.

The shooting took place at approximately 6:30 p.m. local time, per the attorney general’s preliminary report. First responders arrived at the scene after a 911 call was placed, though paramedics confirmed Marquez no longer had vital signs upon their arrival.
At the time the report was published, officials were on the scene gathering evidence and speaking with witnesses in order to determine the details of the attack and identify Marquez’s assailant. Dr. Cameisha Clark Murdered: Security Guard Charged With On-Campus Attack Of Beloved Clark Atlanta Alumna
Some unfortunate news has broken that has left family, friends, and staff at two colleges grieving the loss of a beloved colleague.
According to ABC7, Dr. Cameisha Clark, 35, died after a shooting on the campus of Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology in Inglewood, Calif., on May 2, 2025.
The alleged shooter is 40-year-old Jesse Figueroa, who previously worked at the school as a security guard. Around 3:45 pm on the day in question, Figueroa returned to the campus dressed in his security uniform and opened fire on Clark and her unnamed receptionist inside an office on campus before fleeing the scene.

He was subsequently captured and charged with one felony count of murder; one felony count of attempted murder; one felony count of possession of a firearm with prior violent convictions; and one felony count of possession of a firearm by a felon with prior convictions.
If he is convicted of all charges against him, he will face a life sentence in prison.
“Any student, faculty member or employee should feel safe and secure going to school,” said L.A. County District Attorney Hochman. “This horrific act of gun violence has shaken Spartan College and our entire community. We will file all appropriate gun enhancements in this case and send a clear message to criminals that violence will not be tolerated in Los Angeles County.”

Dr. Clark’s family also released a statement expressing their grief and disbelief at her murder.
“We are beyond devastated. Cameisha’s life was taken from us far too soon, in an act of senseless violence that no woman should ever have to endure,” the statement read. “She brought warmth, laughter, and grace into our lives every day. Her presence was a gift, and the void left behind is immeasurable.”
Before her death, Clark had recently been promoted to Dean of Student Affairs at Spartan College, and before that, she worked for and graduated from Clark Atlanta University in her hometown of Atlanta, where she became a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and cheered on the CAU cheer squad. Today, the school memorialized her via social media.

Rest in peace to Dr. Clark. Get well soon to her receptionist. Prayers up for the friends and family of both women.

Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Tells Congress ‘I Don’t Think People Should Be Taking Medical Advice From Me’
Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. told a House Appropriations Committee hearing on Wednesday that Americans should not be taking his medical advice.
Kennedy, who was being grilled by lawmakers about his stance on vaccines, was asked if he would vaccinate his own children today against diseases such as measles, chickenpox and polio.

"My opinions about vaccines are irrelevant," Kennedy said. "I don't think people should be taking advice, medical advice from me. I don't want to give advice."
Kennedy has denied being anti-vaccine but his public commentary on vaccines over the years has been highly critical. He previously led Children's Health Defense, a group known for questioning vaccine safety.

His leadership of HHS, which oversees vaccine policy, has alarmed some public health officials and lawmakers.
During Wednesday morning's hearing Kennedy told lawmakers he "probably" would vaccinate his children against measles.

When pushed by Representative Mark Pocan, a Democrat, on whether he would vaccinate against polio or chickenpox, the head of the U.S. health department declined to answer.
He said he didn't want to seem like he was being "evasive" in his response.
"I think what we're gonna try to do is to lay out the pros and cons, the risk and benefits, accurately as we understand them with reputable studies," Kennedy added.

Kennedy said he's directed Jay Bhattacharya, director of the National Institutes of Health, to help inform Americans on their health decisions.
Matthew Woodruff, an immunologist and assistant professor at Emory University, told Newsweek that Kennedy's lack of more strongly endorsing factual, scientific data is "disingenuous" and puts scientific officials along with Americans at risk.

"To be frank, I think it's the waffling and the the unwillingness to put himself out there as an expert and rely on the folks around him feels like it's a way to avoid accountability."
In previous media appearances, Kennedy has claimed that "none of the 72 vaccines [given to children] has ever been tested in a safety study pre-licensing," a statement that contradicts scientific consensus. He has also promoted the discredited theory that vaccines cause autism.

In a Fox News op-ed in March, Kennedy encouraged parents to speak with doctors about the MMR vaccine amid a measles outbreak in Texas, writing that vaccines "contribute to community immunity."
"Under my leadership, HHS is and will always be committed to radical transparency," he wrote.
But Kennedy's further reluctance on Wednesday to be more outspoken about vaccinating against measles, chickenpox and polio is indicative of a bigger trend of anti-science that could have long-term ramifications far beyond Kennedy's tenure at HHS, Woodruff warns.
