#RHOA: Porsha Williams Reaches Out to Shamea Morton Amid Friendship Breakdown!
Earlier this week, Shamea Morton went on Watch What Happens Live and got teary-eyed talking about how her friendship with Porsha Williams has deteriorated over the last year. Reality TV has the tendency to do that to a relationship, but there’s a glimmer of hope on the horizon. The Real Housewives of Atlanta stars just shared a sweet exchange on Instagram, signaling that they might be working towards finding peace.

Porsha Williams wished former friend Shamea Morton a happy birthday Shamea celebrated her birthday on May 13. Coincidentally, she shares a birthday with Married to Medicine star Quad Webb, so all of the Bravolebrities of Atlanta were celebrating this week. Seriously, you could hardly scroll through your Instagram feed without seeing a birthday shoutout for one of these women.

One of the most surprising birthday posts came from Porsha. In the midst of their ongoing RHOA fallout, Porsha shared a loving birthday message on Instagram. It seems like they might be taking baby steps toward rebuilding the friendship that RHOA tore apart.
“Happy Birthday @shameamorton,” Porsha wrote on Instagram. “I hope you get everything your heart desires. You deserve it.”
Meanwhile, Shamea must have had her notifications turned on. She almost immediately followed up with Porsha, thanking her for the birthday love. It’s a stark difference from what we’re seeing in real time on RHOA.

“Aaaaah, this made my day. Thank you Porsha. I appreciate that,” Shamea wrote, to which Porsha replied, “Of course enjoy being celebrated.”
Ahead of the birthday celebrations, Shamea said that she needed Porsha to show more effort in their friendship. Getting back on the same page will take more than a birthday Instagram post, but this is definitely progress.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta continues on Bravo on Sunday nights at 8/7c.

#HipHopNews: Kanye West Reacts To ‘C*ck’ Album Leak!
Kanye West is once again fending off chaos surrounding his unreleased music. On Saturday, the 47-year-old artist took to X to denounce a leaked project falsely labeled as his upcoming album, CUCK. “Somebody got a drive and threw it on YouTube and said this is CUCK,” he wrote, accusing unnamed parties of stealing and distributing the unauthorized content.

According to AllHipHop, the leak originated on Discord, where a folder containing unreleased tracks reportedly began circulating in private groups before making its way to YouTube. The platform swiftly removed the files, but not before fans dissected the material—some of which included full versions of CUCK, along with unreleased titles like “Diddy Free” and “Free My Kids.”

One particular song, “UNCLE,” immediately drew attention. The track’s raw lyrics, which narrate the trauma of a woman forced into sex work, sparked rumors that the song referenced West’s wife, Bianca Censori. Speculation spread quickly across social media, amplified by fan theories and reaction videos. But West shut it down directly. “UNCLE is not on CUCK and is not about my wife,” he stated unequivocally, aiming to silence the noise before it gained further traction.

While battling the fallout from the leak, West hasn’t abandoned his creative momentum. He continues to tease WW3, a film project he’s quietly developing. Details remain scarce, but he’s hinted at its broader artistic scope in recent interviews. Known for blurring lines between fashion, cinema, and sound, West appears determined to expand his visual storytelling—even amid the turbulence.

This latest leak underscores a recurring challenge for artists operating outside the traditional industry model. West, who’s released music independently since breaking from major labels, has often dealt with bootlegs and premature drops. But the latest breach stings deeper, not only because of its personal implications but because it disrupted the controlled rollout of a project he’s remained unusually tight-lipped about.

As with previous incidents, Kanye West’s response is part defense, part declaration. He refuses to let unauthorized leaks frame his work—or define his intentions. While CUCK remains officially unreleased, its existence, tone, and meaning are now being shaped as much by West’s words as by the digital trail left in its wake.

“I travel the world, and all people really want to hear is, ‘I love you,’ ” Richie said in a statement. “‘I love you’ is forever. #SUBWAYSERIES: Yankees Snatch The Subway Series, Beating Mets 2 out of 3 games
The Yankees came out on top in the 2025 Subway Series, taking two of three games from the Mets in a hard-fought matchup filled with drama, key plays, and late-inning heartbreak.
The series kicked off Friday night with a tough 6–2 loss for the Mets at Yankee Stadium. The Yankees jumped out early and capitalized on shaky defense and missed opportunities by the Mets. Despite a solid outing from the Mets’ starter, the offense never really found its rhythm, and the Yankees pieced together enough timely hits to control the game from start to finish. The Mets’ bullpen couldn’t contain the late push by the Bronx Bombers, and the opener slipped away without much resistance.

Saturday’s game was a complete turnaround. Locked in a tense duel, the Mets struck first, but the Yankees tied it up before Jeff McNeil launched a two-run homer in the sixth to regain the lead. With the Mets clinging to a one-run advantage in the ninth and the tying run on base, Edwin DΓaz delivered a statement moment—striking out Aaron Judge to end the game and quiet the crowd in the Bronx. It was a signature win that showed the Mets’ resilience and gave fans hope heading into the rubber match.

Sunday’s series finale quickly turned into a nightmare. After both teams battled to a 2–2 tie heading into the bottom of the eighth, the game unraveled for the Mets. Pete Alonso committed a costly throwing error that allowed the Yankees to take the lead. Then, with the bases loaded, Cody Bellinger crushed a grand slam, breaking the game open and sending Yankee Stadium into a frenzy. What had been a back-and-forth battle turned into a rout in an instant, as the Yankees piled on to secure an 8–2 win and the series victory.

The Mets’ bullpen collapse and defensive miscues proved costly, and while Saturday’s high point showed flashes of potential, the team left the weekend with more questions than answers. The Yankees, meanwhile, defended the “House That Ruth Built” and walked away with the first Subway Series of the season under their belt.

The Winner of American Idol 2025 is Jamal Roberts

After weeks of intense performances, emotional stories, and national voting, American Idol 2025 has crowned its newest winner.
“The winner of American Idol is… JAMAL ROBERTS!”

A visibly emotional Roberts took a long breath, his head tilted back in disbelief, as the crowd erupted. Cheers and praise poured in across social media. “AMERICA GOT IT RIGHT!!! A HUGE CONGRATS TO JAMAL!” wrote one excited fan on American Idol’s official YouTube channel
Before the winner was announced, Roberts and fellow finalist John Foster shared a moment of camaraderie on stage. Foster, who had already been named one of the top two finalists, turned to Roberts and said, “It’s such an honor to be here with you.” Roberts responded with mutual respect, capturing the sportsmanship and heart that has long been part of the show’s appeal.

It was a touching moment, particularly given the surprising cut that preceded it. Texas stay-at-home mom Breanna Nix was the first to be eliminated in the finale, an outcome that left many fans disappointed. Still, she showed grace and resilience, joining worship artist Brandon Lake for a well-received duet and encouraging the remaining finalists.

Her final solo performance, a passionate rendition of “In Jesus Name,” was one of the night’s emotional high points. Judge Lionel Richie called the competition a “slugfest,” praising each contestant as having a lifelong career ahead. “Every one of you in your own lane has a career forever,” he added.

Roberts’ performance of “First Time” during the finale showcased both his vocal precision and emotional control. His ability to command the stage and connect with the audience earned him high praise from the judges. Carrie Underwood, one of the night’s guest mentors, told Roberts, “You look so comfortable and at ease tonight.” That confidence clearly resonated with viewers, who cast their votes in droves to make him the 2025 American Idol champion.

Earlier in the show, Roberts joined Jelly Roll for a stunning duet of “Liar” and “Unpretty,” a genre-bending performance that stood out as one of the most memorable collaborations of the night. Their chemistry on stage and the emotional depth of the performance were widely praised across social media.

The American Idol 2025 finale didn’t just feature great performances from the finalists—it also welcomed a host of special musical guests. Jessica Simpson returned for a solo set, although her performance drew mixed reactions online. While some praised her vocal delivery, others felt it didn’t match the night’s energy.
Still, the focus remained on the finalists, who each delivered songs that highlighted their growth over the course of the season. From gospel to country to pop, this year’s finalists showcased the wide range of talent that continues to make American Idol relevant more than two decades after its debut.

With the crown now his, Jamal Roberts is expected to release music soon and begin working with the American Idol team to craft his debut album. Past winners have gone on to win Grammys, launch world tours, and headline festivals—and fans are already speculating where Roberts might land on that spectrum.

If the crowd’s response and the record-breaking votes are any indication, the newest Idol has both the talent and the support to make a serious impact.
For those who missed the live show, performance videos and finale highlights can be found on the official American IdolYouTube channel. Expect clips from Roberts’ duet with Jelly Roll, Nix’s duet with Brandon Lake, and Foster’s patriotic anthem to rack up millions of views in the coming days.
Whether you watched from the beginning or tuned in just for the finale, this season of American Idol delivered powerful stories, unforgettable performances, and a champion the audience clearly connected with.

Congratulations again to Jamal Roberts—American Idol 2025′s newest star.

Sesame Street Finds New Home at Netflix

It’s a sunny day on Sesame Street, as Netflix has acquired the streaming rights to the long-running children’s show.

Under the deal announced on Monday, Netflix will air new episodes of Sesame Street worldwide, as well as obtain the show’s expansive library catalogue. New episodes will also continue to air in the US on local PBS stations.

It’s a major boon for the Sesame Workshop, which had been looking for a new home after Warner Bros. Discovery opted out of its distribution deal in 2024. A significant portion of Sesame Street’s funding comes from distribution and licensing, and with PBS stations potentially facing their own funding challenges, Netflix offers the show long-term financial stability going into its upcoming 56th season.

#BoxOfficeNews: ‘Final Destination Bloodlines’ Rules Box Office With $51 Million Opening
As the weekend box office is called a clear winner is seen with Final Destination Bloodlines from Warner Brothers showing that sometimes lightning can strike thrice regardless of predictions. Racking up a franchise best at $51 million, Bloodlines took home first booting Marvel’s Thunderbolts* which is still only in its third week from the top. Bloodlines was originally projected to land around $46 million to $47 million but its mass appeal carried it further, Final Destination 5 released in 2011 was the franchise last outing seeing only $18 million for its opening.

Trailing behind, Thunderbolts* brought in $16.5 million securing that 2nd place over Sinners which saw an additional $15.4 million in its fifth week having not known what its like to sit below the top 3.

In its final hurrah, A Minecraft Movie took 4th with $5.9 million after a strong seven weeks attempting to conquer the $1 billion threshold falling short with an international total gross of $928 million, with a highly anticipated streaming release around the corner there’s still a chance to see the film strike gold again. 5th went to The Accountant 2 with $4.9 million rounding out the top five.

At the bottom of the boards for openings Hurry Up Tomorrow bombs hard, with a miniscule $3.3 million for its first week for another massive loss on Lionsgate’s part. Staring Abel Tesfaye also known as The Weeknd, the film is a companion piece to the studio album of the same name. Sitting at 6th, Hurry Up Tomorrow is likely to not break the top five on a run back as poor word of mouth and critics slapping a disappointing C- CinemaScore blast the film.

In 7th for a surprising win came indie hit Friendship which despite a limited release saw $1.4 million for its second week beating Clown in a Cornfield also in its second week by .1 million. In 8th, Clown in a Cornfield brought in $1.3 million knocking Until Dawn to 9th which saw only $800K for its fourth week.

Adin Ross suffers financial fallout after Doechii criticism

Popular streamer Adin Ross finds himself facing serious consequences after his public criticism of rapper Doechii has resulted in significant financial repercussions. During a candid conversation with Akademiks, Ross admitted that his public relations were finally improving with promising deals in negotiation, but he lost both arrangements following his controversial comments. This setback demonstrates the tangible risks that content creators encounter when expressing inflammatory opinions in today’s interconnected media landscape.

The situation highlights a growing reality for influencers who increasingly depend on brand partnerships for substantial portions of their income. As Ross’s predicament illustrates, the boundary between authentic expression and professionally damaging behavior continues to blur for those in the public eye, with real economic consequences for crossing perceived lines of acceptable commentary.

The incident unfolded after Ross launched into an unfiltered tirade against Doechii during one of his livestreams. His harsh commentary responded to a viral moment where Doechii expressed frustration with her team while preparing for the prestigious Met Gala. Ross held nothing back in his criticism, labeling her an industry plant and openly questioning her talent and achievements.

During his stream, Ross aggressively stated that Doechii was not comparable to established artists like Rihanna or Nicki Minaj, challenging her perceived attitude and industry standing. This unprovoked attack generated immediate backlash from fans and raised concerns among industry professionals about appropriate conduct and respect between content creators and musical artists.
Following the incident, Ross expressed significant disappointment over losing advertising opportunities he had been particularly enthusiastic about. He emphasized that his frustration extended beyond the financial aspects, as he had been genuinely excited about the partnerships that fell through. Ross described one opportunity as a substantial arrangement that represented a major career milestone for him.

This situation serves as a cautionary tale about the interconnected nature of public perception and business opportunities in the creator economy. For streamers like Ross who build their careers on authentic personalities and unfiltered commentary, finding the balance between maintaining their brand identity and avoiding alienating potential business partners presents an ongoing challenge.
In contrast to Ross’s combative approach, Doechii demonstrated considerably more poise in addressing the situation. Following the controversy, she took to social media to issue an apology for her initial team-related frustrations and publicly praised her team’s efforts for her Met Gala appearance, noting they had performed exceptionally well.

Her measured and mature response established a stark contrast with Ross’s inflammatory comments, potentially strengthening her professional reputation while Ross faced mounting criticism. This divergence in crisis management approaches illustrates the importance of thoughtful communication for public figures, particularly when navigating controversial situations that attract widespread attention.
The Ross-Doechii incident illuminates larger conversations about accountability, responsibility, and the complex dynamics of social media influence. In an era where comments can be instantly amplified and preserved indefinitely, public figures must increasingly consider the far-reaching implications of their words and actions beyond their immediate audience.

For Ross, this situation serves as a sobering reminder about the potential consequences of unchecked emotional reactions and the importance of maintaining professional boundaries, even within casual streaming environments. The incident also highlights the evolving standards for influencer behavior as the creator economy matures and becomes more integrated with traditional entertainment and advertising structures.
Reactions across fan communities have revealed significant divisions in perspective. Some supporters defend Ross, characterizing his comments as authentic expressions aligned with his unfiltered brand, while critics condemn his targeting of Doechii as unnecessarily harsh and potentially harmful to her career development and public image.

This polarization reflects broader cultural tensions surrounding celebrity criticism, acceptable boundaries for commentary, and evolving norms about how public figures engage with one another across different entertainment sectors. The controversy has sparked meaningful discussions about respect, professionalism, and accountability across social media platforms.

As both Ross and Doechii move forward from this incident, they face different challenges in their respective career trajectories. For Ross, rebuilding damaged brand relationships and restoring his commercial viability will be crucial, while potentially reconsidering how he navigates criticism of other public figures. For Doechii, continuing her musical ascent while managing public perception remains paramount.
This situation ultimately reinforces that in contemporary entertainment landscapes, words carry tremendous weight—not just in terms of public perception, but increasingly in tangible business consequences that can significantly impact careers and livelihoods.

Shemar Moore Gets a S.W.A.T. Spinoff

Back in March "S.W.A.T.," starring Shemar Moore on CBS was canceled for the second time in two years
Now Shemar is starring in a new "S.W.A.T." spin-off called, "S.W.A.T. Exiles..."

“S.W.A.T.” can’t be swat down. In a surprise move announced Sunday evening, Sony Pictures Television — a studio known for finding every way imaginable to revive its seemingly canceled series — announced that it had picked up, on its own, the spin-off series “S.W.A.T. Exiles.”
“S.W.A.T.” star Shemar Moore is back to star in the new show, reprising his role as Daniel “Hondo” Harrelson in the 10-episode sequel. The news comes just two days after “S.W.A.T.” completed its eight-season run on CBS with a two-hour finale on May 16; Sony gave the greenlight even though “S.W.A.T. Exiles” has not yet been sold to any outlets, either domestically or internationally.
But in announcing the news at its LA Screenings event for international buyers, Sony is making a bet that it will find “the right homes and partners for these new stories to reach the passionate ‘S.W.A.T.’ fanbase and attract new viewers,” the company said in a release. Sony will pitch the show to streamers, broadcast and cable networks.

Joe Exotic’s New Husband Deported Back to Mexico Hours After Prison Release
Joe Exotic’s rollercoaster love life just hit another sharp turn. Just weeks after marrying fellow inmate Jorge Flores Maldonado behind bars, the “Tiger King” star’s husband has been deported to Mexico, only hours after walking free from a Texas federal prison.

Maldonado had been serving time on immigration-related charges, including reentering the U.S. illegally and reportedly driving a car with undocumented passengers. Once released, ICE wasted no time in transferring him to a detention center for a swift deportation. TMZ confirmed that Maldonado was indeed back in Mexico.
Exotic, still serving a 21-year sentence for trying to hire a hitman to kill Carole Baskin and for wildlife violations, shared his frustration on Instagram. He posted a photo of the couple and begged for clemency from Donald Trump and White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller, saying he’s lost everything, his freedom, his family, and now, his husband.

Despite the separation, Exotic remains hopeful. He had previously shared plans to either get asylum for Maldonado or leave the U.S. to be with him. On social media, he posted a heartfelt sketch his husband left behind as a memory of their short-lived time together.

Bobby Brown Says He Continues to ‘Work Through’ Grief After Deaths of His Children

The sudden passing of two children continues to weigh on R&B vocalist Bobby Brown.
According to People, the New Edition member was a guest on the May 19 episode of The Jennifer Hudson Show, and reflected on the deaths of his children, Bobbi Kristina Brown, 22, and Bobby Brown Jr., 27, Bobbi Kristina, whom Brown shared with his late ex-wife Whitney Houston, died from lobar pneumonia, first believed to be drowning and drug intoxication, in July 2015. Bobby Jr., whom the singer shared with Kim Ward, died from an opioid overdose in November 2020.

On Hudson's talk show, Brown explained that he's resorted to therapy to "work through" the pain of losing his children. The singer has five living children, three of whom are shared with Alicia Etheredge, his wife of thirteen years.
"Lots of prayer, first and foremost, that absolutely took me to the point where I accepted therapy in my life," Brown told Hudson. "I accepted going to a therapist and really working out all of the issues that I had within me."

Brown also looked to family members as being a source of support when he "wasn’t feeling right and when times get hard."
"They're still there because it doesn't stop. It's not like it just goes away," he continued. "It's gonna be with you forever, but it's about dealing with it and really paying attention to yourself. Paying attention to how you're feeling that day and letting somebody know how you're feeling that day. You know, not keeping it inside."

Houston, who died on February 2012 at 48 years old, was married to Brown from 1992 to 2007. Bobbi Kristina was their only child. Brown shared on Hudson's show that the six-time Grammy winner "taught me a lot about love and living right." "She is definitely loved and missed in my heart," he said.
In 2022, Brown told People about the "flood of dreams" he had about his late children, where they're "always together."
"I always see them at beaches or in fields," he told the outlet. "They're running away, but they're laughing."
