#RHOA: Go Inside Shereé Whitfield's Life Since The Real Housewives of Atlanta: "So Grateful"
Shereé Whitfield has been living her best life since her time on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. The RHOA alum appeared on Seasons 1 through 4, before she popped up in Season 8, and joined the cast, again, as a full time cast member for Seasons 9 and 10 and Seasons 14 and 15.
But Shereé was most recently mentioned on RHOA Season 16, when it was revealed that she had reportedly dated new cast member, Angela Oakley's retired NBA player husband, Charles Oakley, in the past. Angela appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in March, where she opened up about the rumors of Shereé dating Charles.

"You know what, Charles has dated many women back in the day, so I think the rumors are true, but it's nothing we talk about," she admitted, as seen in the video above. "So no, I don't run into Shereé and that's that."
In the trailer for the RHOA Season 16 reunion, host Andy Cohen can be seen asking Charles about the romance, before he got defensive. "Everybody [wants] to know about me. What about y'all?" Charles asked. "I'm the only husband here. Where are y'all husbands at?"

Although Shereé hasn't addressed the rumors herself, she has been focusing on herself since her time on RHOA. Read on to learn more about her hobbies, her kids, her love life, and her career today.
Shereé's activewear brand, She by Shereé, is still going strong. She recently took to her Instagram Story, where she posted a video of her, walking down some stairs dressed head to toe in her brand.
Shereé's brand has played into her super active lifestyle. The mom of three and fitness coach is always on Instagram, posting about her workouts, and praising the benefits of being in the gym.

She took to Instagram in May, where she revealed that she had ran into her longtime friend, Miss Lawrence, while at the gym. "Look who I ran into while trying to get this [summer] body together! It was so good catching up with these two! Just like old times, they had me cracking up.....so bad I lost 45 minutes of my workout. Total sabotage!" she wrote in the caption of the post. "Since I know y'all are on your summer body grind too, I better see you in my class one of these Fridays! Don't make me come check you!"

Shereé is always on Instagram motivating other people to workout. "I don't always feel motivated. I don't always feel strong," she wrote in the caption of one post from May. "And some days, the last place I want to be is the gym. But I show up anyway — because progress isn't about perfection, it's about persistence."

"Push yourself because no one else is going to do it for you," she wrote in the caption of another Instagram post from March. "Transform your mind, body, and soul."
Working out is something that Shereé does, even with her children. Shereé's oldest daughter, Tierra Fuller, took to Instagram in March, where she posted a video of her working out alongside her mom. "Good morning good people! Mother-daughter grind!" she wrote in the caption of the post.

Shereé recently posted a tribute to her oldest son, Kairo Whitfield, also known as her "baby boy," for his birthday on Instagram on July 2. "Despite you being a grown man, you'll always be my baby boy," she wrote in the caption of the post. "I hope this chapter of your life is filled with great people, amazing opportunities, and unlimited blessings. You are a great father and you make me proud in ways you don't even know."
Her youngest daughter, Kaleigh Whitfield, is just as active in her life, even though she currently lives in NYC. Shereé took to Instagram in November on Kaleigh's birthday, where she posted a photo of her, standing on a rooftop. "Happy Birthday to my mini me aka my baby girl," she wrote in the caption of the post. "Keep living your fab life to the fullest."

Kaleigh, Kairo, and Tierra even helped Shereé host her birthday party in January. "So grateful for my baby girl [Kaleigh] for or cooking and planning this incredible, intimate, 5 course [birthday] dinner surrounded by friends and family," she wrote in the caption of the post. "Also, a huge thanks to my first [Tierra] and Nick for hosting an amazing after party in Club SHE. It always melts my heart when my kids come together to make my day special."

Shereé is also a super loving and devoted grandma to Kairo's daughter, Mecca. She took to Instagram last July, where she posted the sweetest tribute to her granddaughter on her birthday
"Mecca, you have brought so much love, happiness, laughter, and joy to my life!" she wrote in the caption of the post. "Words cannot express the unconditional love that exists between a glam-ma and her glam-baby. Seeing you grow over these last two years warms my heart. I want you to always know that my love for you is everlasting."

In addition to spending time with her kids, Shereé has also been spending time with her friend, RHOA Season 1 alum, DeShawn Snow. The two women are workout buddies, and have been loving getting fit together. "Strong women don't compete — we ignite," DeShawn wrote in the caption of an Instagram post from July.
Shereé took to her own Instagram account in April, where she posted a series of photos alongside DeShawn. "Laughter is always good for the soul!" she wrote in the caption of the post. "Always a good time with this OG [peach] right here."

Shereé has been dating following her breakup from Martell Holt. The fashion designer took to Instagram in November 2024, where she posted a video of her, sitting in a restaurant, drinking a glass of red wine. "Going on dates & traveling IS mandatory," she wrote in the caption of the post. "I'm ignoring anything that's not benefitting for a Queen."

#MusicNews: RnB Royalty hit the UK for RnB Xmas Ball 2025 in London, Birmingham and Manchester

(14th July, 2025) The heavyweight lineup for the RnB Xmas Ball has just dropped with a feast of RnB superstars who will be performing live across three dates including O2 Arena, London on Monday 8th December, BP Pulse Live on Wednesday 10th December and Sunday 14th December at Co-op Live, Manchester. Leading the pack is the greatest RnB group of all time Boyz II Men, alongside the one and only R&B icon Toni Braxton, who makes a long-awaited return to the UK stage for the first time in over 5 years, alongside the adored Joe and revered R&B boy band Dru Hill (with original members Sisqó, Nokio and Jazz).

This year’s show is the third annual RnB Xmas Ball and follows the huge success of last two years, which have saw RnB legend headliners including Monica, SWV, Keith Sweat and TGT (Tyrese, Tank, Ginuwine) and moresmash sold out UK Arena shows to adoring fans.
The RnB Xmas Ball 2025 will see all four headliners perform with full bands. With old skool 90s RnB continuing its stratospheric ascendence, this year’s show promises to be an absolute roadblock when tickets go on Artist pre-sale on 22nd July, Venue pre-sale on 24th July and General sale on 25th July, bringing the heat to the legions of London fans this Christmas.

The multi-platinum selling and multi-Grammy award winning Boyz II Men, are making a return after their smash hit UK tour last Spring. Originally from Philadelphia, Boyz II Men are a trio; Nathan Morris, Wanyá Morris and Shawn Stockman. The group, then a quartet, achieved global acclaim in 1991 for Top 5 hits ‘Motownphilly’ and ‘It’s So Hard To Say Goodbye To Yesterday’ from debut album ‘Cooleyhighharmony’. But it was ‘End Of The Road’ in 1992 that got to No. 1 around the world and topped the Billboard Hot 100 for 13 weeks, setting a new record for longevity. Boyz II Men broke their own record with ‘I’ll Make Love To To You’ and ‘One Sweet Day’ with Mariah Carey, each setting new records for the total number of weeks at number one. Followed by ‘On Bended Knee’ which saw Boyz II Men replace themselves at the top of the Billboard Top 100, only the third ever artists, after The Beatles and Elvis, to do so. Boyz II Men have received four Grammys, released 12 albums and the most recent studio album, ‘Under the Streetlight’, was released in 2017.

Singer, songwriter, actress and TV personality Toni Braxton has sold over 70 million records worldwide and is one of the best-selling female artists in history. Braxton has won seven Grammy Awards and numerous other accolades. She began performing with her sisters in the R&B group The Braxtons, and after grabbing the attention of producers LA Reid and Babyface, she signed with their label LaFace Records as a solo artist. Her self titled debut album came out in 1993, reaching No.1 in the Billboard 200 chart and selling 10million copies worldwide with its global smash singles ‘Another Sad Love Song’ and ‘Breathe Again’, garnering three Grammys, including one for Best New Artist. Tony had continued success with the albums ‘Secrets’ (1996) with number 1 singles ‘You’re Makin’ Me High’/’Let It Flow’ and ‘The Heat’ (2000) with its single ‘He Wasn’t Man Enough’. Braxton's subsequent studio albums, ‘Snowflakes’ (2001), ‘More Than A Woman’ (2002), ‘Libra’ (2005) and ‘Pulse’ (2010), a duet album with Babyface ‘Love, Marriage and Divorce’ (2014), ‘Sex & Cigarettes’ (2018) with Def Jam, and ‘Spell My Name’ (2020) with Island Records.

Multi-platinum selling artist Joe will be performing his most loved hits for his fans including ‘Stutter’, ‘All The Things(Your Man Won’t Do)’ and ‘Don’t Wanna Be A Player’.

Dru Hill was founded in Baltimore in 1992, and now tour the world as a 6 piece boy band including original founding members Sisqó, Nokio and Jazz, plus new members Scola, Smoke and Black. Dru Hill has received multiple awards, performed across the world, topped the Billboard Music charts multiple times, and has sold over 40 million records worldwide. The group recorded 7 top 40 hits, including No.1 hits ‘In My Bed’, ‘Never Make A Promise and ‘How Deep Is Your Love’, which was included on movie soundtrack ‘Rush Hour’. The single ‘This Is What We Do’, featuring Method Man set the tone for the group's second album ‘Enter The Dru’ (1998). Then followed a hiatus while Sisqó pursued a solo career, then came albums ‘Dru World Order’ (2002) and ‘InDRUpendence Day’ (2010).

Toni Braxton said “I cannot wait to return the UK to perform for my British fans. It’s been too long. The RnB Xmas Ball shows will be extra special, so I’ll see you in December UK!”
Dru Hill said “The UK is one our favourite places to play. As long as they tell us what they want, we’ll give them what they need.”

#HipHopNews: Troy Ave Reportedly Faked Attempted Robbery And Shooting
Recently, celebrity chef Geoff Cole took to Instagram to allege that Troy Ave nearly saved his life during an attempted robbery.
Yesterday, celebrity chef Geoff Cole took to Instagram to credit Troy Ave with nearly saving his life. He shared what seemed to be surveillance footage of the two of them getting out of a vehicle, and a man creeping through an alley to sneak up on them. The rapper then appeared to pull out a gun and fire multiple shots at the suspect as he ran away.

"I came home after Celebrating the success of a sold out Chef Fest with Love & support from all over the West Coast! And a hater from the SAME CITY tried 2 take it all away!" Cole wrote. "This the 2nd time but it WON’T be a 3rd! s/o 2 my BROTHER Ave for Holding it Down in a situation where most woulda RAN or FOLDED 💪🏽 ‼️."

"I’ll never let the hate stop Me from showing LOVE!" he added. "Ima keep giving artists OPPORTUNITIES & PLATFORMS, Ima Keep Gettin MONEY 💰 And the ONLY thing im doing different now, is taking this SHOW ON THE ROAD‼️."
The footage earned big reactions from viewers in Cole's comments section. While some were quick to praise Troy Ave for saving his friend, others accused both of them of faking the incident for clout. "That’s a real one next to you. 🙏🏽," one Instagram user wrote. "Y’all believe anything on here 😂😂 great promotion for that song tho 🤣🤣," another said.

Now, TMZ reports that they've spoken with sources who have been in direct contact with Cole and Troy Ave, and they've confirmed that the whole thing was fake. Apparently, nobody really tried to rob Cole, and the rapper never fired any actual rounds.

This lines up with San Diego police's story, as they say they didn't get any calls about a shooting or attempted robbery involving either of the two men. At the time of writing, they've not publicly addressed the ordeal.

9 people injured in ‘stampede’ at a MARTA station after Beyoncé concert, officials say

Nine people were injured in a “stampede” at the Vine City MARTA station Monday night, according to the transit agency.
The incident happened after the Beyoncé concert at Mercedes-Benz Stadium as hundreds made their way home.
According to MARTA, a person began screaming and running, which triggered a stampede on an escalator. The escalator then sped up before suddenly stopping.

“The initial reports were that a woman was scared of an insect and screamed and ran away from it, and others panicked not knowing what was happening,” a MARTA spokesperson said in a statement.
Amber Anderson recalls how crowded it was getting inside the station. Once she got on the escalator, she saw people start to run.
“I see that people are starting to run at the entrance, which of course when you see somebody running, you probably want to run too,” Anderson said.

She said when the escalator started speeding up, it sent a pile of people to the ground. She said she couldn’t stop herself from winding up in the group of about 20 people all on top of each other.
“He now is up under someone, I slide up under him, there’s somebody that comes behind me,” she said. “I feared suffocation.”
Eight people were taken to the hospital; seven had cuts and scrapes and one had a broken ankle. One person declined to be taken to the hospital.

Latoia Farmer suffered a sprained ankle when someone fell on her in the frenzy.
“Especially in crowds, never again, never again will I get on a MARTA, never again,” said Farmer, from the ER at Northside Hospital on Tuesday.
Anderson said her leg still hurts after it was pinned under a man in front of her by the wall. She said thankfully, once the escalator stopped, they were able to start picking each other up. They started looking for lost phones and wallets, and even the next day, necklaces and earrings were still visible in the grate.
She said the scariest part was having little control over the people coming behind her and not knowing where her friend was in that moment.

“I told my friend on the ride back, I said, ‘We’re supposed to be talking about how amazing the concert was because it was absolutely amazing, but this is what we’re talking about,’” said Anderson. “I’ve never been more fearful.”
Jaylen Black spent her birthday at Grady Memorial Hospital recovering from a significant injury from the incident.
She’s thankful to be alive, fearing the worst after she says the escalator malfunctioned.

Black said she was trapped beneath multiple people after the escalator sped up and suddenly stopped.
Atlanta News First spoke with her right after she got out of surgery Tuesday afternoon.
“I was maybe three steps in, and the escalator completely freefalls, quickly down to the bottom, where we hit each other like bowling pins,” Black said. “I just kept telling myself, ‘I don’t want to die like this. I don’t want to die on my birthday.’”

“I woke up from surgery a couple of hours ago. I’m seeing people covering it as some stampede. No, no one was pushing each other. The escalator malfunctioned,” Black said.
“There was more of a hurry to get down,” Black went on to say. “I want to be very clear: people weren’t pushing each other down the escalator. People were trying to get out of that area with haste.”

Black said she’s speaking with others injured in the escalator incident and plans to pursue litigation. She added that she’s unsure if she will ever look at escalators the same after the frightful fall.
A MARTA spokesperson said the escalator has been barricaded. Escalator manufacturer Schindler and MARTA Safety will investigate the incident.

In a statement, Schindler shared its sympathies with those injured.
“We take the safety of the riding public seriously and are committed to working closely with MARTA, Vine City Station personnel, and local authorities to fully investigate and determine the cause of the incident,“ the company said. ”At this time, we have no verified information as to the cause and it would be inappropriate to speculate."

In 2016, MARTA launched the Vertical Transportation Rehabilitation Program to enhance station escalators and elevators.
As of November 2024, about 90 percent of elevators and nearly 75 percent of escalators had been updated, according to MARTA.
Atlanta News First asked Schindler and MARTA if the Vine City escalator in question had been updated. Neither responded to that question on Tuesday.

First Supergirl Poster Warns You to "Look Out"

Less than a week out from the premiere of Superman, James Gunn has unveiled a new look at the next DC Studios film by dropping the first poster for Supergirl.

Playing on the Superman tagline “Look up,” the image shows Milly Alcock’s Woman of Tomorrow drinking a Slurpee next to a Superman poster — only she’s written “out” over “up.” A close look also reveals what looks like blood on her fingers, hinting this could be a very different kind of superhero adventure than the hopeful Superman.

Coming from director Craig Gillespie (I, Tonya, Cruella) and a script by Ana Nogueira (known for acting roles in The Vampire Diaries and The Blacklist), Supergirl is set to soar into theaters on June 26th, 2026. Alcock stars alongside Matthias Schoenaerts, Eve Ridley, David Krumholtz, and Emily Beecham. Jason Momoa is also expected to make his debut as Lobo, and yes, Krypto will be part of this one too.

Cesar Pina Pleads Not Guilty To Bribery, Fraud, And Other Charges Brought About By Alleged Ponzi Scheme

Things have gotten real for Cesar Pina, DJ Envy’s former friend and business partner. After being indicted for his alleged Ponzi scheme, the controversial real estate investor has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
AllHipHop reported that federal prosecutors laid out all of his charges this Tuesday (July 15). He has been accused of wire fraud, money laundering conspiracy, and bribery, all tied to federally funded programs. The U.S. Attorney’s Office stated that he allegedly promised high returns to federal investors and used their money to pay off earlier investors and pocketed the rest.

“Cesar Pina is alleged to have misappropriated millions of dollars of peoples’ hard-earned money, laundered money for narcotics traffickers, and bribed a politician in furtherance of real estate projects,” U.S. Attorney Alina Habba said. “This multi-year torrent of criminal activity hurt investors around the United States, facilitated the scourge of narcotics trafficking, and undermined confidence in our public officials.” The aforementioned politician resided in his home state, New Jersey
Pina allegedly began this underhanded operation in 2017, procuring money by presenting himself as a real estate “flipper” for residential properties in NJ and elsewhere. He went on to start a company called “Flipping NJ,” and even convinced a Paterson, NJ, city official to greenlight “Old School 5,” a real estate project that broadened his alleged illegal ventures.

“Rather than utilize his social media presence for the betterment of society, Mr. Humberto Pina chose to use it to expand his criminal activities,” DEA New Jersey Special Agent in Charge Cheryl Ortiz stated. “His actions, along with his willingness to launder money from drugs proceeds, is no different than those individuals flooding our streets with illicit and diverted narcotics.”

This indictment sets Pina on the path to potential jail time and having to fork over cash. Each wire fraud count could land him up to 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine. The money laundering charges have the same potential prison time, but the fines are steeper at $500,000. The bribery charges are a bit lighter, at 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

Klay Thompson and Megan Thee Stallion go official at NYC gala

NBA star Klay Thompson and Grammy-winning rapper Megan Thee Stallion made their relationship official at the Pete & Thomas Foundation Gala in New York City, marking their first public appearance together.
The couple arrived in coordinated black outfits, with Megan wearing a stunning black gown and Thompson donning a classic tuxedo, drawing widespread attention on the black carpet.

The Dallas Mavericks guard, 31, and Megan, real name Megan Pete, first sparked dating rumors earlier this year when a viral bikini photo showed Thompson in the background. Shortly after, the speculation was confirmed when Thompson posted a vacation photo dump from the Bahamas that featured the couple holding hands and sharing intimate moments.

Prior to the gala, the pair were seen enjoying dinner at Carbone in NYC, fueling buzz ahead of their red carpet appearance. The Pete & Thomas Foundation, launched by Megan in memory of her parents, held its annual fundraising event to support underserved communities—making it a meaningful setting for the duo’s debut as a couple.
Megan was previously linked to NBA player Torrey Craig in 2024, while Thompson's past relationships include Coco Jones, Laura Harrier, and Eiza González. Their appearance together cements their status as a new celebrity power couple.

With their stylish debut and growing social media presence, Klay Thompson and Megan Thee Stallion are poised to be one of 2025’s most talked-about celebrity romances.

Skai Jackson’s Child’s Father Deondre Burgin Arrested During Car Wash Over Missed Court Date & Outstanding Warrant

Deondre Burgin, father of Skai Jackson’s baby, found himself back in police custody after being arrested at a Kentucky gas station—right in the middle of washing a car he allegedly shouldn’t have been driving.

According to the Kenton County Commonwealth Attorney’s Office, officers ran a plate check as they passed the station on July 14 and discovered an active warrant out of Hamilton County, Ohio. That warrant stemmed from a March 6 traffic stop near Cincinnati, where Burgin was cited for failing to reinstate his license and improperly displaying his plate. After missing his court date on May 5, a warrant was issued two days later.

Burgin’s legal drama doesn’t stop there. In May, Skai Jackson filed for a restraining order in Los Angeles, alleging Burgin attacked her while she held their 3-month-old son, Kasai. She claimed he had abused her weekly for months in 2024.
Adding to the timeline, Burgin was also serving a 90-day sentence for a parole violation when Kasai was born in January.

Usher Suits Up for His New Role as the Face of Ralph Lauren Fragrances' Latest Scent
The award-winning singer fronts the campaign for Ralph’s Club New York Eau de Parfum
Usher’s got a confession. The music superstar, 46, is the face of Ralph Lauren Fragrance’s brand-new scent, Ralph’s Club New York Eau de Parfum, which celebrates N.Y.C. and all its glory.

It’s hard to believe this partnership marks the first time the music icon has fronted a fragrance campaign, yet, no collaboration would be more fitting than this.
Usher, who appears in images shot by famed fashion photographers Mert Alas & Marcus Piggot, certainly believes so. “It’s a journey come true,” he tells PEOPLE exclusively ahead of the launch.

That journey started with Usher before the albums and accolades, when he was a kid.
“I couldn't quite access Ralph,” he shares of his humble beginnings. “My mom and family couldn't afford it, so to finally receive a Ralph Lauren shirt was a major treat as a kid.”
In the 1990s, Usher moved from Chattanooga, Tennessee, to Atlanta, Georgia. Eventually, he would meet music producer and songwriter Jermaine Dupri, who would help ignite his music career and “sense of style.”

Usher, who recorded his first album in N.Y.C. in 1997, remembers Polo Sport representing “New York culture.”
“I had obviously seen advertisements with Tyson Bedford and Naomi Campbell, That made it aspirational,” he says.
The musician remembers one of his first pieces, a puffer. “There was just something about them” and their bold colors (the yellow ones were his favorite), he recalls.
“That was my first introduction to Ralph Lauren,” he says. “As I grew older, I learned that there was so much more to offer. There was an elegant side.”

Indeed, Usher has since worn some of the finest designs Ralph Lauren has to offer during milestone moments in his career, including a custom Purple Label outfit to the 2025 Met Gala.
And naturally, for the campaign, which “captures the timeless glamour of Manhattan's golden age” according to a press release, he’s decked out in the label as well.

“I think we were all in the afterglow of what had happened in Las Vegas,” Usher says of the style direction for the campaign. “I think around that time, I really just decided to dress up for my fans." Usher says when he translated his ideas for stage to ones for this campaign, the Ralph Lauren team “was accepting.
“A lot of the clothing that we made for the campaign was special made — never made before, probably never made again — and these were all things that I felt like represented the next chapter for me, represented what I felt was a collaboration that would be worthy of Ralph's legacy and also would give me the freedom to be myself in his house.”

“I feel proud,” Usher says of wearing Ralph Lauren in the campaign, adding that it’s representative “of where I have gone over time, with fashion. It's led me to this very timeless character in terms of how I dress. Whether it's very formal, or a little bit more relaxed and casual, it’s always fresh.”
Fashion is also about connection, such as the one he feels to southern culture and the when he puts on RL. "For it, it's a staple of success. So, in some way, I feel honored to have not only been a person who was a fan of the brand, but who is now a representation of its expansion. This opportunity to bring heritage, edge, style and tradition all together is the spirit of what this campaign is.”
Inside the “R” monogram chrome flacon, which takes inspiration from bold accessories, a flask and New York’s Art Deco landmarks, is a sensual, elevated and daring luxury fragrance. It opens with notes of black currant accord and is rounded out with creamy vanilla and warm sandalwood.

“For some, fragrance is the cherry on the top. It is the final layer to whatever your attire and whatever your statement is. But, for me, it always starts with it,” Usher says of his scent method.
“When I'm out of the shower, the first thing I do is look towards the fragrance that represents how I want to feel and how I want to dress for the occasion,” he explains, adding, “I'm a little bit more direct on the skin. Of course, there's a second, third, fourth spray before I leave the house.”
His take on Ralph’s Club New York? “I really do feel like the scent represents something that feels sophisticated, bold and commanding in the way where when you walk into a room and people smell it, there's an identity and there's something that people remember. There's something that plays in these two spaces, casual and formal. It works.”
Usher wasn’t present in 2019 when Ralph Lauren presented his RTW collection on an Art Deco-inspired set dubbed Ralph’s Club. But he’s seen the experience online, and “I loved it,” he shares. In essence, the fragrance, he says, "is like being a part of a club that we can't go to, yet, but we have the ability to enter by way of simply having this bottle.”

For the campaign, the performer also got to flex his vocal muscles. He puts his spin on “New York, New York” which Frank Sinatra made famous.
When asked to sum up this past year, Usher explains, “I think that most people live for the dream. I live for the journey. At a very young age, my reality was the one that I lived. It was one that imagined would be real. It was one that I spoke to a truth. Everything that I've said that I wanted to do, I've done because I applied myself. I was willing to take the time and dedicate my commitment to convey what it is that I have to offer.”
“My career started many, many, many, many moons ago, and I think that this is a grand crescendo. The only thing that I would've wanted more is for Ralph to have been with me within that process of the Super Bowl. But I knew we would have a grand moment, and that is this moment. It's a moment that I feel it's going to last if not as long as the Super Bowl, maybe longer. It feels organic. It feels like once again, another part of the journey come true.”

Colman Domingo Reflects on Emmy Nomination for ‘The Four Seasons’ While Filming ‘Euphoria’: ‘Maybe It’s a Good Luck Charm

Colman Domingo added another milestone to his acting career on Tuesday when he earned a 2025 Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series. The nomination recognizes his role as Danny in Netflix’s hit show The Four Seasons, returning him to the spotlight after his previous Emmy-winning performance in Euphoria.

The 82nd Primetime Emmy Awards nominations were announced on July 15, and Domingo joined a competitive field that includes Ike Barinholtz for The Studio, Bowen Yang for Saturday Night Live, Harrison Ford and Michael Urie for Shrinking, Jeff Hiller for Somebody Somewhere, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach for The Bear.

For Domingo, the nomination marked a satisfying moment of symmetry and celebration. He accepted the news on the set of Euphoria, where he first made Emmy history by winning Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series for his powerful portrayal of Ali in Season 2. Reflecting on the coincidence, Domingo told Deadline, “Maybe it’s a good luck charm, being here with my cast from Euphoria.”
Domingo, 55, has been filming the third season of The Four Seasons and remains tight-lipped about plot details, while enthusiastically sharing his excitement for the direction of his character. “We’re creating some epic story, and I’m having a great time,” he said.

The ensemble cast, led by creator and star Tina Fey, includes notable names such as Steve Carell, Will Forte and Kerri Kenney‑Silver. Domingo, who plays the charming and affable Danny, credits his castmates for both inspiration and laughs. “Comedy is very hard,” he said. “Walking into a room with Steve Carell and Tina Fey, they’re like mathematicians when it comes to landing a joke. I was also learning from my castmates.”

Domingo expressed hopes for Season 3 that the writers expand Danny’s storyline, particularly his relationship with his on‑screen husband Claude. “We’ve seen everyone else plan vacations,” he said, “but let’s see the world that Danny likes to populate, and how he moves through the world. I love leaning into the friendship between me and Tina Fey.” He added that he would love to see Steve Carell return to the show. “We became an actual family on set,” he said.
Domingo began his career in theater, acting in Shakespeare and modern plays, and describes the stage as “dusting off 300‑year‑old jokes and being a clown.” For much of his onscreen career, he focused on dramatic roles, making his shift to comedy with The Four Seasons a fulfilling new chapter.

His joy was evident as he spoke about being recognized for his comedic talents. “People who know me believe that I’m funny, but I never got a chance to flex it,” he said. “It felt great to join a comedy show with veterans and learn from them.”
Domingo, also on Variety’s 2025 Comedy Impact List, hosts a podcast named Filthy Preppy Teen$ with co‑host Billy Eichner. The show, which explores pop culture and youth themes with humor and sharp commentary, highlights Domingo’s versatile creative pursuits beyond acting.

In addition to The Four Seasons and Euphoria, Domingo’s screen resume includes critically acclaimed work in films like If Beale Street Could Talk, Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, Selma, and the limited series Watchmen. His expansive body of work spans screen, stage and voice acting, establishing him as a dynamic presence in Hollywood.
When asked about how he plans to celebrate his latest Emmy nod, Domingo said he intended to keep things low-key. “I like doing something small. I’ll go to one of my favorite restaurants and take this blessing in,” he said. His humble reaction reflects both gratitude and contentment. “Doing what you love and being recognized for it is icing on the cake,” he added.

Domingo’s journey from theater stages to streaming comedy—and the acclaim that followed—exemplifies the shifting landscape of representation in media. As an openly gay Black man, his visibility and success resonate with audiences seeking more diverse and authentic stories on screen.
His win for Euphoria in 2022 marked a high point, but his current nomination is drawing attention to The Four Seasons as a major comedic contender. The series brings together a diverse ensemble and reflects themes of family, friendship and modern life through humor and heart.

Euphoria returns for Season 3 later this year, but Claudio Domingo and his co-stars are already hard at work on set. The Emmy race continues to generate buzz as other favorites and newcomers emerge in major categories.
The 77th Primetime Emmy Awards will air live Sept. 14 on CBS and will stream on Paramount+. Fans can expect to see whether Domingo’s nomination turns into another trophy. Meanwhile, audiences around the world continue to enjoy his performances, now in both edge-of-your-seat drama and laugh-out-loud comedy.

The Eagles tied an NFL record by winning 18 games last season, finishing the regular season 14-3 (including a team-best 10-game winning streak) before running the table in the postseason.

Their championship run was capped by a 55-23 win over the Washington Commanders in the NFC Championship Game and a 40-22 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX.
Philadelphia set an NFL record with 3,866 rushing yards in the regular season and postseason and also had the league's top-ranked defense.

Biggie Smalls’ Son, CJ Wallace, Accused Of Involvement In Alleged Diddy Sexual Assault

CJ Wallace, the son of the late Hip-Hop legend The Notorious B.I.G., has been accused of playing a role in an alleged sexual assault involving Sean “Diddy” Combs.
According to a new lawsuit filed earlier this month, the plaintiff, identified in court documents only as John Doe, claims he was lured to a Revolt TV location in 2020 under false pretenses by Wallace and others.

Transportation for the plaintiff to the Revolt TV location was allegedly arranged by Combs Corporations, the lawsuit states. Once at the site, Doe claims the situation took a disturbing turn.
Upon arrival, the alleged victim says he was ambushed by a group of men, including Wallace, who forcibly took him to a private room where Diddy was waiting.

According to the complaint, as several of the attackers allegedly held the plaintiff’s head, Combs is said to have attempted to force the plaintiff to perform oral sex on him while threatening him and his future association and dealings with Combs Corporations.
The plaintiff further alleges that after the assault, he was able to flee and return to the transportation provided.

CJ Wallace, Charlie Mack, and several others were waiting and transported him back home, the lawsuit claims. Doe also believes a photo was taken of him during the alleged assault, which he suspects was intended to “blackmail and humiliate him.”
The suit specifically labels Wallace as a “henchman” in the alleged scheme who promised to help advance his career.
The plaintiff is also the same individual who previously accused Diddy of tossing a “semen-soaked Notorious B.I.G. shirt” on him and claims Combs once told him he was going to “f**k the sh*t outta him”* as a form of intimidation.

Diddy’s legal team has pushed back strongly against the allegations. “Mr. Combs’s trial and acquittal on trafficking and RICO charges proves what we have been saying all along: Mr. Combs never sexually assaulted or trafficked anyone,” read a statement to TMZ.
“That people continue to broadcast and file false accusations — no matter how heinous and uncorroborated — is unfortunate, but Mr. Combs will not back down. He will fight for as long as necessary to win his full vindication.”

The plaintiff is seeking damages from all named defendants, including Wallace, Combs, and others involved. As of now, Wallace has yet to publicly respond to the allegations.

Maurene Comey, Federal Prosecutor in Diddy Case Has Been Fired
The Justice Department has fired Maurene Comey, the federal prosecutor in the Sean "Diddy" Combs and Ghislaine Maxwell cases, from the United States Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York, multiple sources say.
Comey is the daughter of former FBI Director James Comey, who was fired by Donald Trump during his first term following the Russia investigation.

Comey, who worked in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for nearly ten years, held the title of senior trial counsel and was recently part of the team that prosecuted Diddy.
Prior to that, she prosecuted both sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and his associate Ghislaine Maxwell.

Plies called out Donald Trump after the president urged people to stop focusing on Jeffrey Epstein’s alleged client list. The DOJ and FBI recently concluded Epstein died by suicide and had no high-profile blackmail list. Plies responded on Twitter, writing, “77 million people voted for a liar. Now they mad he lying!”
Stephen A. Smith recently dismissed concerns about Epstein’s alleged client list, saying he doesn’t care about it. His comments came during an appearance on NewsNation, aligning with Donald Trump’s recent stance on the topic.

The list has resurfaced in headlines after Trump allies, including Pam Bondi and Kash Patel, claimed it exists—Bondi even stated earlier this year that it was “sitting on my desk right now.”

Angélique Kidjo to Make History As First Black African Honored on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

*Angelique Kidjo is on a one-way trip to history, with becoming the first Black African artist to be inducted into the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Black Enterprise reports the Grammy-winning singer will receive the honor in 2026 as one of 35 honorees selected by a committee of industry insiders.
Kidjo joins an esteemed roster of 2026 Walk of Fame inductees. Among her fellow honorees are Shaquille O’Neal, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, The Clark Sisters, ABC News anchor Robin Roberts and Keith David.

Taking to Instagram, an appreciative Kidjo credited her fans for getting her to this level of recognition.
“Thanks to all my fans who brought me here,” the West African vocalist, whose team has yet to announce when she will unveil her star on the Walk of Fame, wrote.
Kidjo’s pending star is the latest in a slew of honors she has received over the years. In 1981, the Dahomey-born entertainer ventured into music with the release of her debut album, Pretty, in 1981. After moving to Brooklyn, NY, Kidjo continued living her musical life with a trio of albums Oremi, Black Ivory Soul, and Oyaya!. According to Black Enterprise, music for the albums were inspired by music the music from the Caribbean diaspora and South America.

Fast forward to 2021, the singer was named one of Time’s 100 Most Influential People. From there, Kidjo took home the Polar Music Prize in 2023 as the music equivalent of the Pulitzer Prize.
Outside of her music, Kidjo ventured into acting from appearing in “The Woman King,” the story of the real-life female Agojie warriors of the 19th century.

Despite the departure for acting, music was nearby for Kidjo via her Jessy Wilson featured duet “Keep Rising,” which is included on the movie’s soundtrack to the Viola Davis starrer.

Billy McFarland Disappointed Fyre Fest Sold for Just $245,300: “Damn, This Sucks”
Yesterday, disgraced Fyre Fest huckster Billy McFarland sold the brand’s IP and rights on eBay for $245,300. While that seems like a decent chunk a change, especially for an event synonymous for never actually happening, McFarland was noticeably bummed that the auction didn’t fetch a higher amount.

“Damn. This sucks, it’s so low,” McFarland lamented during a livestream broadcast in the final moments of the eBay auction (via Billboard). The 33-year-old convicted felon put the Fyre brand up for auction after a purported seven-figure deal he had apparently fell through. At the time, McFarland said, he was “done playing games,” adding that, whoever buys Fyre “will have an attention engine to launch festivals, do merch collabs, do insane pop-ups, run livestreams, or build a media brand.” McFarland has yet to identify the person behind the winning eBay bid.

For McFarland’s part, he no doubt was hoping for a much larger purchase price given that he owes more than $20 million in restitution to the original Fyre Festival investors, as well as millions in back taxes, stemming from his 2018 conviction for federal wire fraud.
