#RHOA: Kandi Burruss Set to Receive Huge Honor at BravoCon 2025
Who cares about Emmy nominations when Bravo just announced this year’s recipient of the Wifetime Achievement Award? During the July 15 episode of Watch What Happens Live, Andy Cohen announced that Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Kandi Burruss will receive their highest award at BravoCon 2025.
When Andy announced Kandi as the next Wifetime Achievement Award honoree, the top award at The Bravos, he said this was to recognize “her incredible run on The Real Housewives of Atlanta.”
He said, “Kandi, congratulations. And I’m so happy that we got to really honor you in a really great way at The Bravos this year.”
Of course, Kandi tried to act humble about the award, as if she’s not one of the longest-running Housewives of all time with a mile-long resume. She spent 14 seasons on RHOA. That’s no small feat.
“I appreciate that. I’m super excited about it,” Kandi said, before adding, “I was like, ‘Wait a minute, y’all picking me? What?'”
She continued, “But I really do appreciate it. I feel like I put a lot of time [in], you know, a lot.”
Kandi will be the second recipient of the Wifetime Achievement Award, with Vicki Gunvalson receiving the honor during BravoCon 2023.
The Bravos will take place during BravoCon 2025 as a separate, ticketed event called “BravoCon Live with Andy Cohen Presents: The Bravos.” It happens on Friday, November 14, at 9:00 PM at the PH Live at Planet Hollywood Las Vegas Resort & Casino. As of now, a few tickets remain if you want to see it in person.
#NewMusic from Craig David and JoJo In It With You

Craig David has released In It With You featuring JoJo. After the Garage King's surprise duet with the Leave (Get Out) hitmaker at Mighty Hoopla in May, which saw the pair perform JoJo's hit Too Little Too Late, the pair have dropped the moving ballad from the former's upcoming album, Commitment, set for release on August 8. David opened up about working alongside JoJo for the track with EUPHORIA.
“There was a rapport there rather than it just being like, ‘Here’s the song.’ I asked her to send it when you’re done, kind of thing. But when she sent it over and I just heard that vocal, I was in my bag because I was like, ‘Yes, JoJo!’ I felt it was a song that was great before, but she’s taken it to another level now. She’s unbelievable,” he said. Despite decades in the game, his child-like enthusiasm for music still shines through.
The music video tells a modern love story, with Craig David and JoJo portraying a couple navigating miscommunication and emotional disconnect. The song carries the storytelling. The narrative unfolds with the music, enhancing its emotional depth. David’s voice is as smooth and captivating as ever. JoJo’s vocals are pure powerhouse perfection, blending seamlessly with his in a hypnotic duet that carries the nostalgia of yesterday with the freshness of today, rich in emotion and sincerity.
“In It With Tou” feels like a chapter from the Modern Love series – tender, vulnerable, and emotionally honest. It speaks to a generation entangled in situationships and digital disconnection, yet craving something raw and real with their partners. The city of London plays a crucial role in the music video, serving as both backdrop and metaphor. It anchors the story and bridges the gap between eras: the timeless sound of 2000s R&B and the modern-day heartbeat of 2025.
This isn’t just a song, it’s a heartfelt offering, rich in harmony, honesty, and sentiment. It shows what happens when two iconic voices unite, not just to reminisce, but to reimagine. “In It With You” is part of David’s upcoming album Commitment, which will be released on August 8. He’ll also kick off a UK mini-tour the same day at HMV Birmingham, closing at The 1865 in Southampton on August 17.

#HipHopNews: Metro Boomin Reveals He Will Be Dropping A New Mixtape Very Soon
Metro Boomin has revealed that his new mixtape, A Futuristic Summa, will be arriving very soon.
The super producer unveiled the release date for the project as July 22 along with the mixtape’s cartoon artwork.
The tape will be comprised of a lengthy 20 tracks and will feature an “all new cast” of rappers including Roscoe Dash who appeared on the project’s lead single “Slide”.
While most features are currently being kept under wraps, Metro has confirmed that Atlanta rappers Quavo and J Money will appear on the mixtape.
Metro recently revealed that it was a lifelong dream of his to make entrance themes for WWE wrestlers after he was featured prominently during the company’s Bad Blood event last year.
On X, Metro wrote: “Would love to produce some WWE entrance themes. It’s a lifelong goal of mine.”
WWE have yet to respond to Metro’s request but multiple rappers in the past have contributed theme songs for the company including Naughty by Nature, Three 6 Mafia and Lil Kim.
Metro’s longtime collaborator, Travis Scott, has been a recurring presence on WWE programming of late.
La Flame famously appeared during the main event of WrestleMania 41 where he helped John Cena defeat Cody Rhodes.
After pulling the referee out of the ring, Rhodes challenged the rapper to step up — a move that backfired when he was hit with Rhodes’ signature Cross Rhodes finisher. However – this became the perfect moment for Cena to seize the opportunity, and he took Rhodes down for what became his record-breaking 17th world championship title.
Taking to Instagram with photos of his appearance, Travis captioned them, “I DONT WANT A RECEIPT I WANT BLOOOODDD AFTER JACKBOYS 2 I NEEEEEDDD THAT.”
Cody Rhodes had previously warned Travis Scott that he could expect a receipt after smacking him in the face at Elimination Chamber in February.
During the melee, La Flame landed a hard punch on Rhodes’ head as he lied face down on the floor, giving the 39-year-old a legitimate black eye and a ruptured ear drum.
Scott has since begun wrestling training though it is not yet known if and when he will make his in-ring debut.
Lupita Nyong’o Opens Up About Her 10-Year Battle With Uterine Fibroids

Lupita Nyong’o is using her voice to break the silence around a health issue that far too many women suffer through.
In honor of Fibroid Awareness Month, the Black Panther star opened up about her more than decade-long battle with uterine fibroids, shedding light on a condition that affects millions, but is rarely discussed openly.
The 42-year-old Oscar winner took to Instagram on Tuesday (July 15) to share her story, revealing that the same year that she took home her Academy Award, she also had surgery to remove 30 fibroids from her uterus.
Lupita explained that uterine fibroids are non-cancerous growths that can develop in or around the uterus, ranging in size from something as small as a pea to as large as a melon. For some, fibroids are symptom-free, but for others, like Lupita, they come with side effects. Heavy menstrual bleeding, anemia, pelvic pain, constant trips to the bathroom, and complications with fertility are just a few.
According to Hopkins Medicine, an estimated “20-50 percent of women of reproductive age currently have fibroids, and up to 77 percent of women will develop fibroids sometime during their childbearing years.” Reportedly, only about “one-third of fibroids are large enough to be detected by a health care provider during a physical exam, so they are often undiagnosed.” And in more than “99 percent of fibroid cases, the tumors are not cancerous and do not increase the risk for uterine cancer.”
Nyong’o pointed out that conversations about women’s reproductive health are still not highlighted enough. She called out the way young girls are often taught to accept pain as a normal part of womanhood, leading generations of women to suffer in silence, thinking their experiences are normal.
In her post, the actress called for early education for teens, better screening protocols, and extensive research into non-invasive treatments that can help women live fuller, healthier lives.
She also announced that she has joined forces with a group of Democratic congresswomen and senators to help introduce a new package of uterine fibroid bills aimed at expanding research funding, improving early detection, studying the links between fibroids and uterine cancer, and increasing public education around the issue.
On top of that, Nyong’o also partnered with the Foundation for Women’s Health to launch the FWH x Lupita Nyong’o Uterine Fibroid Research Grant. Her donation will help fund groundbreaking research into less invasive treatments that can improve the quality of life for more than 15,000,000 people living with fibroids in the U.S. alone.
“I hope my experience will resonate with anyone else who has ever felt dismissed, confused or alone,” she wrote in her post. “Brava Lupita,” Kerry Washington commented underneath, as Halle Berry added, “This is so brave and so beautiful. This is such important info to share! Thank you my friend.”
Berry has also been vocal about her own advocacy for women’s health through her menopause and sexual wellness platform Respin.
T.D. Jakes Says Over 44,000 AI Bots Pushed Lies Of Him Attending Diddy Freak-Off Parties
TD Jakes has addressed rumors of him being inappropriately involved with Sean “Diddy” Combs, claiming that the vast majority of whispers that he had an intimate relationship with the mogul stemmed from AI bots.
The revered reverend made the assertion during a conversation with John Hope Bryant shared Sunday (July 13), where he discussed being accused of carrying on an affair with the Bad Boy founder, as well as attending his infamous “freak-off” sex parties.
“When the [rumors] first broke out, it was 44,000 bots that were released on me,” Jakes said, adding that an investigation revealed, “that 98% of them were all artificial intelligence-generated.”
“The other thing that it really proved to me, to Oprah, to Denzel, to all the people, is that it’s everybody. It goes along with the turf. We have got to stop getting our information from TikTok.”
Jakes went on to dismiss the rumors as, “kinda water under the bridge,” adding, “If there were anything there, the FBI would have been in it … It’s like when I had my health scare—within seconds, it was all over the world, you wouldn’t have to find it on Instagram, you wouldn’t have to find it on YouTube. You would find it on the 6 o’clock news.” Check out the clip below.
Jakes previously addressed rumors of carrying on a “love affair” with Diddy during a conversation with Oprah, who also defended herself against allegations of attending his “freak-off” parties.
Ariana Grande Shuts Down Rumors She’s Leaving Music Amid Taking More Movie Roles

Ariana Grande is assuring fans that she’s not walking away from music anytime soon.
Just a day after it was announced that the pop star will voice a character in the upcoming animated adaptation of Dr. Seuss’ Oh, The Places You’ll Go!, Ariana took to Instagram to shut down speculation that she’s done with making her own music. She wrote:
“Very silly of you all to assume that just because I have my hands full with many things that I plan to abandon singing & music…!!! It is and has always been my lifeline. There will need to be room made for all of it.”
The 32-year-old, who’s also set to reprise her role as Glinda in Wicked: Part Two this fall and was recently cast in Meet the Parents 4, added that she’s “having fun” juggling her many projects, and even teased a new music release coming next year.
Shaquille O'Neal Threatens To Punch RGIII In The Face For Disrespecting Angel Reese
Angel Reese doesn't need to worry about defending herself against her haters; it appears her mentor, Shaquille O'Neal, has that covered.
Shaquille O'Neal Threatens To 'Punch' Former NFL Player RGIII In The Face For Disrespecting Angel Reese Online
For those who may be unfamiliar with the situation, a week ago, former NFL player RGIII posted a photo on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, of Chicago Sky star Reese depicted as a monkey.
In his post, the former Washington Commanders player condemned the racism directed toward Reese, while also seemingly criticizing the 23-year-old for her spirited rivalry with Caitlin Clark.
He didn't stop there, though. RGIII, who hosts the "Outta Pocket" podcast, also posted that people in Reese's inner circle have contacted him and allegedly confirmed that she "hates" Clark, star of the Indiana Fever.
The backlash to RGIII's post was swift and fierce, with one commenter calling the retired athlete an "even bigger loser than I thought."
Someone else also blasted the father of four, calling him a "disgusting liar" who is "desperate for attention."
But the fans weren't the only ones with something to say. During Shaq's appearance on the "Off the Record" podcast, the LSU alum had a pointed comment for RGIII, which has left Reese fans with a bit of hope.
Shaq wasted no time taking aim at RGIII, saying, "Tweet another monkey post about my girl Angel Reese and I'm gonna punch you in your f-cking face."
He continued, "It's enough. I don't usually do stuff like this, but stop it, bro. You got your job, you got your podcast. Leave my Angel Reese alone. I'm the one calling her and telling her not to respond. F-cking stop it. That's the last time."
But that wasn't all the NBA Hall of Famer had to say. He later defended Reese and Clark's tense on-court dynamic, adding, "It's not real hate."
"If you look around at what's going on in this real country, that's hate," he continued, adding, "This is sports; I'm not supposed to like you."
"Leave [Angel Reese] alone. You already spoke on it. Let it go. So what? [She] hates her. So f-cking what? I hate you now for messing with her. Now what? Say something about me," he continued.
"[Angel] is not soft, by any means," he explained. "She's from the streets. But I'm like, 'You're beautiful, don't indulge with these fools.' Because he's a fool."
On social media, Reese fans expressed their appreciation to Shaq for defending the WNBA star amid the unprecedented amount of online hate she receives.
"Violence is sometimes the answer," someone wrote, to which another said, "I know that's right! We love a Black man protecting a Black woman."
Someone else wrote, "And if you think Shaq is playing, better check those old NBA games."
They added, "Several celebrities have been pressed by Shaq ... So watch RGIII come back real humble because you gotta go outside."
Another user shared a similar message, writing, "These are sad times. It takes an OG to come out and threaten these washed male athletes turned podcasters to stop picking fights among women athletes."
Shaq wasn't the only one to call RGIII out for his post. Almost immediately after it went live, Reese fired back indirectly, accusing him of "lying."
"Lying on this app when everybody know the first and last name of everybody in my circle for clout is nastyyyy work," she wrote.
And she wasn't the only Reese with something to say. Her mother, also named Angel Reese, jumped into the chat and told RGIII to "stop with the [cap]."
"My daughter's 'circle' is so small & tight so I'd be interested 2 know who called U ... Whomever U say 'called' U is not in her circle 2 speak on her feelings towards a media/fandom made up beef. Just stay on that side bc the doors are closed over here," she wrote.
Since then, RGIII hasn't addressed the controversy publicly, and after Shaq's latest warning, it's unclear whether he ever will.
An Arrest Made In Murders Of ‘American Idol’ Music Supervisor Robin Kaye & Husband

The LAPD has arrested 22-year-old Raymond Boodarian in connection with the murders of Robin Kaye, the longtime music supervisor for American Idol, and her husband, Thomas Deluca.
According to TMZ, sources say the key evidence that led to Boodarian’s arrest was fingerprints lifted from the crime scene, which matched prints already in the LAPD database due to previous arrests in 2024. Surveillance footage from the couple’s home also helped identify the suspect.
Law enforcement officials have confirmed there is no known personal connection between Boodarian and the Kaye-Deluca family.
As previously reported, Robin Kaye and Thomas Deluca were found dead in their Los Angeles home on July 14 after police responded to a welfare check. Just days earlier, officers were called after someone was seen hopping a fence near the couple’s home carrying what might have been a firearm, but it is unclear if that incident was related.
The investigation is ongoing.
Nicki Minaj Accused Of Being ‘Scared’ Of Beyoncé After Removing Her Name From Post During SZA Feud
Whew! The internet has been sounding off after many noticed Nicki Minaj edited Beyoncé’s name out of a post amid her recent feud with SZA.
In the original post, Nicki accused SZA of previously disparaging several fellow celebs, writing, “Btch used to be on twitter dissing Rihanna, bey, etc.”
But users quickly noticed that she later swapped out Beyoncé’s name for Ciara, sparking speculation that Nicki was trying to avoid backlash from Beyoncé and the BeyHive.
As we reported, Nicki and SZA started exchanging heated messages after SZA made a post that Nicki believed was aimed at her. While some felt that SZA’s post had nothing to do with the Super Bass rapper, others argued the timing was funny, given it came as Nicki called out SZA’s former manager, TDE’s Punch.
Do you think Nicki edited the post to play it safe, or was it unnecessary shade?

911 Call Reporting Beyoncé’s Equipment Stolen Now Released
Atlanta Police have released the 911 audio from July 8 in which Beyoncé’s choreographer, Christopher Grant, reported a break-in. In the audio, Grant says, “Someone broke into my car… they stole my computers and everything.” He adds, “It’s really, really important information. I work with someone who’s of a high status…”
The Jeep Wagoneer rental, parked at Krog Street Market’s garage, was left while Grant and dancer Diandre Blue grabbed dinner. Returning about an hour later, they found a shattered rear window and missing suitcases. The stolen items included laptops, AirPods Max, designer sunglasses, clothing — and critically, five thumb drives containing Beyoncé’s unreleased music, tour plans, and set lists.
Grant told dispatchers he had used Apple’s “Find My” feature to locate the stolen devices. “It has the tracker on it,” he stressed during the call. Investigators reportedly tracked one laptop and the headphones to several locations and noted sightings of a red or silver Hyundai Elantra — now identified as a “possible suspect vehicle.”
Police also recovered two faint fingerprints from the rental vehicle. Surveillance footage from the parking garage reportedly captured the theft; investigators hope the video will help identify the suspect.
According to Atlanta Police’s Monday statement, “an arrest warrant has been secured,” although no arrest has been made yet. The suspect remains at large
The incident occurred just days before Beyoncé’s four-night run at Mercedes‑Benz Stadium. Despite the theft, she performed as scheduled. No comment has come from Beyoncé’s team.
Experts warn the incident highlights growing concerns over protecting unreleased content. Beam, historian to past thefts involving Lana Del Rey and Tom Waits, commented that vehicle break-ins targeting creative materials are not uncommon.
Atlanta Police reiterated their “Clean Car Campaign,” urging people to never leave valuables visible in vehicles. Last year alone, over 7,000 thefts from cars were reported in the city.

Barack And Michelle Obama Lightheartedly Address Divorce Rumors

Barack and Michelle Obama are putting long-standing divorce rumors to rest—with humor and clarity.
The former President made a surprise appearance on the latest episode of Michelle Obama: The Light Podcast, joining Michelle and her brother, Craig Robinson. The episode featured playful banter among the trio, with Robinson joking about their dynamic. “Wait, you guys like each other?” he asked, prompting Barack to respond to previous divorce rumors, “She took me back! It was touch and go for a while.”
Michelle, acknowledged how speculation arises whenever she and Barack aren’t seen together at public events. “When we aren’t [together], folks think we’re divorced,” she said. The former First Lady took the moment to directly address the rumors, stating, “There hasn’t been one moment in our marriage where I thought about quitting my man.”
Their lighthearted exchange comes after online speculation intensified over the past year, fueled in part by Michelle attending events alone, such as President Jimmy Carter’s memorial and President Trump’s inauguration. The couple’s decision to maintain separate appearances, however, is rooted in their preference for privacy, not marital strain.
Barack and Michelle, who celebrated their 32nd wedding anniversary in 2024, have frequently spoken about the ups and downs of marriage. Michelle has previously opened up about how even the strongest relationships require work, honesty, and commitment. On the podcast, both reaffirmed that their partnership remains strong.

Caitlin Clark is injured again. Just ahead of the WNBA All-Star break, Clark was sidelined in the last minute of the Indiana Fever’s 85-77 win over the Connecticut Sun.
Clark appeared to suffer a groin injury. This was just her fourth time on the floor since a groin injury sidelined her earlier in the season. As she took her spot on the bench, Clark covered her head with a towel.
Fever coach Stephanie White told reporters, “We’ll get it evaluated and see what happens from there.” The previous injury was on her left side; the latest appeared to be on her right.
Clark has already missed 10 games this season.

Trump Orders National Guard to Exit Los Angeles After Immigration Protests and Legal Pressure
The Trump administration is walking back a controversial move to flood Los Angeles with federal troops, ordering 2,000 National Guard soldiers to return home after fierce public backlash, court battles, and logistical pressure from state officials.
In June, the administration sent 4,000 National Guard members and about 700 Marines to Los Angeles in response to rising protests tied to an increase in immigration enforcement by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). But the surprise deployment, carried out without approval from California Governor Gavin Newsom, sparked immediate outcry.
California leaders filed a lawsuit claiming the deployment was unlawful and escalated community tensions. They also blasted the decision for straining resources as the state entered its peak wildfire season. “When the state faces simultaneous emergencies, the National Guard’s resources can be stretched thin,” the lawsuit stated.
Pentagon spokesperson Sean Parnell confirmed the withdrawal in a statement to The Hill: “Thanks to our troops who stepped up to answer the call, the lawlessness in Los Angeles is subsiding. As such, the Secretary has ordered the release of 2,000 California National Guardsmen (79th IBCT) from the federal protection mission.”
Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass welcomed the move, crediting local efforts for pushing the administration to reverse course. “This happened because the people of Los Angeles stood united and stood strong,” Bass said. “We organized peaceful protests, we came together at rallies, we took the Trump administration to court — all of this led to today’s retreat.”
“My message today to Angelenos is clear — I will never stop fighting for this city. We will not stop making our voices heard until this ends, not just here in LA, but throughout our country,” she added.
Just days earlier, 150 Guard members had already been pulled from L.A. to help battle wildfires across California. The pressure to reallocate resources made the troop presence harder to justify.
Meanwhile, Governor Newsom praised a federal court decision that blocked officials from using race, language, or employment as grounds for immigration enforcement. The ruling also forced the Department of Homeland Security to provide legal access to detainees.
“The court’s decision puts a temporary stop to federal immigration officials violating people’s rights and racial profiling,” Newsom wrote on Twitter. “California stands with the law and the Constitution — and I call on the Trump Administration to do the same.”
The dramatic drawdown highlights growing friction between federal immigration enforcement and state autonomy, especially in liberal-leaning states like California, where pushback has been loud, legal, and increasingly successful.

Trump Goes Off On His Own MAGA Base: 'I Don’t Want Their Support Anymore!'

President Donald Trump on Wednesday seemed furious at members of his own MAGA base critical of his administration’s handling of the Jeffrey Epstein files, accusing them of falling prey to a “hoax” and declaring that he doesn’t “want their support anymore.”
In a post on his Truth Social platform, Trump blamed his fans for showing interest in the Epstein probe despite his repeated pleas for them to move on.
“Their new SCAM is what we will forever call the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax, and my PAST supporters have bought into this ‘bullshit,’ hook, line, and sinker,” Trump said. “They haven’t learned their lesson, and probably never will, even after being conned by the Lunatic Left for 8 long years.”
The president expressed frustration that the controversy is continuing to dominate the news cycle, while lashing out at his supporters for giving the “success starved Dems” a reason to celebrate.
“Let these weaklings continue forward and do the Democrats work, don’t even think about talking of our incredible and unprecedented success, because I don’t want their support anymore!” Trump added.
Trump failed to mention that it was his own team who fueled his base’s interest in the files, as Attorney General Pam Bondi told Fox News in February that Epstein’s client list “was sitting on [her] desk.”
A subsequent memo released by her department and the FBI this month claiming that there was no evidence to suggest Epstein was killed or that he kept a client list inevitably angered his base, causing political headaches for the president and his team.
Bondi on Tuesday dodged questions about Epstein, claiming that the “memo speaks for itself.”
Trump has defended Bondi repeatedly, including over the weekend when he asked his followers to stop attacking her, saying that she was doing a “FANTASTIC job.”
“We’re on one Team, MAGA, and I don’t like what’s happening,” he wrote on Saturday. “We have a PERFECT Administration, THE TALK OF THE WORLD, and ‘selfish people’ are trying to hurt it, all over a guy who never dies, Jeffrey Epstein.
For two decades, HuffPost has been fearless, unflinching, and relentless in pursuit of the truth. Support our mission to keep us around for the next 20 — we can't do this without you.
Still, the Epstein files controversy is unlikely to go away. Even House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.), a staunch Trump ally, said “we should put everything out there and let the people decide,” telling conservative podcaster Benny Johnson that Bondi should further explain her February statement.
Epstein died in federal prison one month after being arrested on charges of sex trafficking minors in 2019, during Trump’s first term in office. While Trump has tried to distance himself from Epstein, the two men had a well-documented, yearslong friendship.
