#RHOA: NeNe Leakes Claims ‘RHOA’ Producers ‘Never Offered’ Her a Chance to Return Ahead of Season 17
Sorry, Real Housewives of Atlanta fans, but NeNe Leakes isn’t coming back for season 17 — and it’s not because of her own reservations.
NeNe, 57, set the record straight about her possible return to the Bravo series via an Instagram comment on Tuesday, August 12, putting the blame on the show’s producers.

“They have NEVER offered me to return!” she claimed in a comment written on RealityBlurb’s Instagram story about next season.
NeNe hinted that she had no hard feelings about the alleged slight, adding, “Good luck to season 17 cast. We will be watching 👏.”
NeNe’s remarks came shortly after RealityBlurb reported on Tuesday that Kim Zolciak-Biermann and Shereé Whitfield are allegedly returning to RHOA for the upcoming season.
The outlet cited Michelle “ATLien” Brown, who runs the Atlanta-based website StraightFromTheA.com, as the source, after Brown claimed on her YouTube series she has the inside scoop on the season 17 cast.
“It ain’t happening. Not season 17,” Brown alleged on Monday, August 11, telling her listeners that NeNe was not part of the new cast.
She went on to claim, “Shereé Whitfield has signed her contract, and she will be on as a peach-holding Housewife. She is definitely coming back.”
Brown further alleged, “As far as I know, she won’t be a peach holder. I’m thinking that KKKKim will be back in a friend capacity.”

The rumored casting shakeup comes after Kenya Moore exited the series in the middle of season 16 and Brittany “Brit” Eady left the show in July after one season.
Bravo has not publicly announced the RHOA season 17 cast, but fans have been clamoring for NeNe to return for years.
NeNe was one of the show’s original cast members in 2008. She was a pivotal part of the series for seven seasons before choosing to forgo season 8. NeNe later made a cameo on seasons 10 and 12 before exiting for good — at least for now — in 2020.

Earlier this year, NeNe teased that she might consider a comeback depending on the money. “I don’t know, if the opportunity was right and the check was on point, why not?” she told TMZ in January when responding to superfan Cynthia Erivo’s plea for her to return.
NeNe noted that she had “too many things” going on from a professional standpoint to work on RHOA, including the launch of her podcast “Me & My Homegirl.”
NeNe later commented on the idea of returning to the franchise as a “friend,” shutting down the thought because of her clout.
“If I were to ever step back on that platform, would I be friend? I really kind of feel like I don’t know that I would be a friend,” NeNe said on the July 7 episode of Cynthia Bailey and Crystal Kung Minkoff’s “Humble Brag” podcast. “I just would think, NeNe, season 1, the first Housewife, and I’m a friend? I don’t know.”

#NewMusic from Miles Caton ‘Somethin”
If there’s one newcomer who’s having one hell of a year, it’s Miles Caton. The star made an auspicious film debut in April by taking on the leading role of Sammie alongside Michael B. Jordan in this year’s breakout horror film Sinners. And now, building on that moment, he’s taking steps into his music career with his debut single “Somethin.”

Miles might have embodied the heart and soul of the blues in his Sinners role, but “Somethin” finds him tapping in the modern R&B side of things. The ballad is without drums, adding only piano, organ and layered backing vocals to assist him. That is for the best, though, as it allows for this thick, rich voice to be heard in its full glory.

The track finds him trying to spin the block with a former flame that he’s not ready to put out just yet. The aching lyrics, co-penned by Myles and singer-songwriter Liana Banks, make the case for rekindling as he shirks his pride to get his message of love across while still keeping things respectful.

“I been wondering could we do this again / My friend / All in,” he sings on the chorus. “And if it’s too late to revisit the past / I fall back / I fall back / But maybe we could be somethin’.”

LISTEN HERE:
With a talent like his, we’re sure we’ll be hearing more from Miles Caton in the months and years to come.

Gladys Knight Responds After Son Accused Her Husband of Elder Abuse

Soul legend Gladys Knight, 81, has publicly refuted troubling claims made by her son, Shanga Ali Hankerson, who accuses her husband of elder abuse. Knight, currently performing on The Queens Tour, insists she remains “healthy and happy” and eager to return to the stage.

In a measured yet firm statement, Knight said, “I’m sorry that my health and performances have been misrepresented. … I’m healthy and happy and visiting friends and family these last few months.” She added, “I’m excited to get back on the road with my sisters and on stage with The Queens Tour. See you soon.”
Her publicist, Laura Herlovich, signaled a potential legal response, calling Hankerson’s claims “unfounded” and noting he “has had little meaningful contact with Knight.” She confirmed that Knight has paused touring since June 1 and looks forward to resuming in September. Herlovich further stated, “Our lawyers have no choice but to explore any and all legal remedies due to Shanga’s defamatory comments.

Hankerson, a registered behavior therapist, insists his actions stem from concern, not money. He claims his mother has shown signs of memory loss and confusion—even not recognizing him for 45 minutes on New Year’s Day—and alleges that her demanding performance schedule is “detrimental” and orchestrated by McDowell.
“I did my best to give [McDowell] the space to play the role of husband and do what was in my mom’s best interest, and he has not done that,” Hankerson said. “Why is she working? Why is she … being made to believe that she has to work like this? That’s really my issue with it.”

He confirmed that he filed a complaint with North Carolina’s Department of Human Services and that caseworkers conducted an assessment at Knight’s home. The department has not responded to media requests for comment.
Knight and McDowell, who married in 2001 after a brief courtship and long acquaintance, have shared a productive personal and professional life. McDowell is a former corporate consultant turned author and collaborator with Knight. The couple, who live in Fairview, North Carolina, have also engaged in philanthropic work, including a project tied to Reynolds High School.

Despite years of public appearances together, Knight has now had to navigate a delicate path—asserting her well-being while managing strained familial dynamics.
While Knight’s camp frames the accusations as unfounded, Hankerson vows to take further action if necessary. “This has nothing to do with money for me,” he insists. “I’m trying to get her to stop working.”

Chris Brown Speaks Out About Missing Children In Virginia: “Am I The Only One Concerned?”
Chris Brown used his Instagram Stories to question the lack of attention on missing children in Virginia.
On average, 98 children are reported missing in Virginia each week.
State police debunked viral rumors of mass abductions, clarifying that most cases are runaways.

Chris Brown is raising awareness about something close to home. On Friday (Aug. 15) night, the “It Depends” singer used his platform to speak out about children going missing in his native Virginia.
“Am I the only one concerned about all these kids going missing in Virginia?” he wrote via his Instagram Stories. “Parents, make sure y’all [are] keeping an eye on y’all children, please.”

According to WDBJ7, 88 kids were reported missing in Virginia last week — a number slightly below the state’s weekly average of 98. The local outlet noted that Virginia “reports every missing child case to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children,” which often makes its numbers appear higher than those of other states. In most cases, the missing children are classified as endangered runaways rather than actual abductions.

It’s also worth mentioning that on Wednesday (Aug. 13), the Virginia State Police debunked rumors that 50 kids went missing within just 10 days. "[We are] not investigating any reports of mass abductions in Virginia, nor is there evidence of mass abductions occurring in Virginia," they said in a statement, per WSET ABC 13.
Brown has always spoken up about issues that matter to him. In January, he called for shorter sentences for inmates who volunteered alongside firefighters to help control the wildfires in Los Angeles. “The prisoners who were out there risking [their] lives need time [knocked] off their sentences,” he wrote on social media at the time. “Just saying.”

Sean Kingston Heading To Prison For Three Years Over Luxury Goods Scam

Sean Kingston will spend more than three years behind bars after a federal judge sentenced the Hip-Hop artist for orchestrating a multi-million-dollar fraud ring involving high-end goods and fake wire transfers.
On Friday, August 15, a federal court in Fort Lauderdale handed Kingston a three-and-a-half-year term after prosecutors detailed how he and his mother scammed retailers out of luxury items, including a bulletproof Cadillac Escalade, a 232-inch television and pricey jewelry. The court also ordered him to pay $1.17 million in restitution.

Kingston was convicted of conspiring with his mother, Janice Turner, to defraud more than 20 victims out of $3.1 million in goods and services.
Prosecutors said the pair used forged documents and false promises of wire payments to trick businesses into delivering expensive merchandise.
The government’s sentencing memo revealed that the original pre-sentencing report failed to include all victims and the full scope of losses. Federal attorneys asked the court to consider the broader damage caused by the scheme, which spanned several years.

“There are 21 people or businesses who lost money because of Sean’s actions,” prosecutors stated. “Sean and his mother tried to steal about $3.1 million.”
Kingston’s mother, Janice Turner, was sentenced on July 23 to five years in federal prison after being convicted on one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and four counts of wire fraud.
She was also ordered to serve three years of supervised release following her sentence and attend a restitution hearing scheduled for October 16.

According to reports, authorities seized several of the luxury items during a raid on their Florida home. Prosecutors said the fraud involved over $3 million in losses.
Kingston, who had been on house arrest, was taken into custody immediately following the sentencing.

Regina Hall And Anna Faris To Revive Brenda And Cindy Roles In ‘Scary Movie’ Reboot

The comedic-horror duo of Brenda and Cindy is set to return to the big screen. Actresses Regina Hall and Anna Faris confirmed their return to the Scary Movie franchise for the sixth film installment, according to an exclusive report from Deadline.
“We can’t wait to bring Brenda and Cindy back to life and be reunited with our great friends Keenen, Shawn and Marlon — three men we’d literally die for (in Brenda’s case, again),” exclaimed the women in a joint statement.

Brenda and Cindy were first introduced in 2000 in the first Scary Movie and are the only characters to appear in every release up until 2013’s Scary Movie 5.
Last year, Faris shared her enthusiasm to reunite with Hall on the silver screen before the film or casting was confirmed.

“I would love to work with Regina again. I just love her so much,” she detailed. “We would make each other giggle all day long. Regina Hall would be my answer [regarding a reprise]. And money. But mostly all Regina!”
That same year, Hall reflected a similar sentiment after the Wayans brothers confirmed the revival of the franchise.
“I’m just very excited to know that the Wayans, who actually started the project out of their idea, are back on board and at the helm again. I’m excited for them. We’ll see if Brenda is in this new world. I’m thrilled at the possibility that the band could get back together again. That would be fun.”

Brenda and Cindy are not the only originals set to return for the sixth Scary Movie. Shawn Wayans, Keenan Ivory Wayans, and Marlon reunited with Miramax, the producers of the first two Scary Movie films.
“We couldn’t be more excited to be a part of the new Scary Movie and work with each other again,” the brothers shared in a statement. “This is a franchise we created more than 20 years ago. We remember people laughing in the aisles and hope to see that happen again. We look forward to working with Jonathan Glickman and his team at the new Miramax to bring these laughs to theaters, where they belong. It’s a double reunion.”

Scary Movie 6 is due in theaters on June 12, 2026.

Halle Berry Shares Carefree Response To Ex-Husband David Justice
Halle Berry shared a timely social media post after her ex-husband, David Justice, went on a podcast and discussed their brief marriage. In his reflection, the former MLB player claimed the actress did not “really seem, like, motherly,” as he explained why the couple ended up divorcing. Without naming him, Halle Berry shared photos and clips across her online platform with a simple yet effective caption.

“Phew,” she exclaimed. “cooking, cleaning and mothering.”
In the post on X, she shared a photo of herself and her current boyfriend, Van Hunt, in bed while on vacation. The Instagram upload featured the same image, as well as additional snaps from the birthday getaway, including a card from her child labeled “mom,” and various pictures from the tropical destination.

In his remarks, made on Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson’s All the Smoke, Justice went deep into the side of him and Berry’s past relationship. They were married from 1993 to 1997.
“She asked me to marry her after knowing me for five months,” he revealed. “I said okay, because I couldn’t say no… I said okay, I don’t know if my heart was really into it, but I didn’t want to make her feel bad and say no, you know, or [if] I was just in the moment.”

“My knowledge and my understanding, my wisdom around relationships just wasn’t vast… I’m looking at my mom — and I’m a Midwest guy. So, in my mind, I’m thinking a wife, at that time, should cook, clean… and then I’m thinking, ‘OK, if we have kids, is this the woman I want to have kids with and build a family with?’ At that time, as a young guy — she don’t cook, don’t clean, don’t really seem like motherly, and then we start having issues.”

Justice went on to marry his second wife, Rebecca, in 2021. Together, they share three children.
The acclaimed actress has been locked in with musician Van Hunt for five years, and earlier this year, he confessed that a proposal was on the table, pending a “yes” from the Monster’s Ball star.

“Well, I’ve been married three times. Van has been married once, and so no, we don’t feel like we have to get married to validate our love in any way. We don’t,” relayed Berry regarding the potential engagement.
“But I think we will get married just because, out of the people I’ve been married to, this is the person I should have married,” Berry added. “And I feel like I should, we should get married, but it’s not because we feel like we have to. I think it’s something that we would like to do just because we want that expression.”

Teyana Taylor Reportedly Has been Ordered To Pay Iman Shumpert’s $70,000 Legal Fees
Teyana Taylor was found in contempt of court and reportedly ordered to pay thousands of dollars to her ex-husband, Iman Shumpert, for his legal fees. According to Us Weekly, the Judge ruled a video uploaded to social media violated the agreed terms in their divorce judgment.

The outlet reported that both parties accused one another of being in contempt of court, with each demanding the other receive jail time, although Taylor eventually dropped her plea for Shumpert’s incarceration. Taylor’s request to find Shumpert in contempt was denied due to her and her legal team’s failure to “present sufficient evidence,” after she accused him of leaking information regarding their divorce proceedings to the press.
“It appears Taylor and her counsel failed to engage in even a minimal amount of diligence to determine whether her claim of contempt had any factual support at all before the petition was filed,” the order read per Us Weekly.
The court order also reportedly noted that Taylor refused to answer questions “inquiring about her assets and her income, further stating that such information was completely irrelevant to any issue.”

Shumpert’s request that Taylor be found in contempt for allegedly violating their parenting plan was denied as well. The judge did, however, find that Taylor reneged on the terms of the divorce agreement, citing a video uploaded to social media earlier this year. Shumpert argued that his ex-wife had the resources to pay for his legal fees, and the court ruled that she dish out “$70,000 for legal fees to be paid in full no later than 2 weeks from the” court order.
The divorce was finalized in June 2024 after Taylor quietly filed in January 2023, a fact revealed after she went public with their separation in September of that year. In her filing, she claimed she “began to intentionally dim her light for her husband to try to have a harmonious and peaceful marriage.” In the divorce, the judge ruled that Taylor will be granted four marital properties with a total worth of approximately $10 million. Shumpert was ordered to pay a “one-time seven-figure payment” to Taylor, and will keep his Miami condo and residences in South Georgia and Decatur.

Taylor and Shumpert got married in 2016 after she gave birth to their daughter, Iman “Junie” Tayla Shumpert, in 2015. They welcomed their second daughter, Rue Rose Shumpert, in 2020.

Sara Rivers Responds To Dismissal Of Her Diddy Lawsuit

Sara Rivers of Making the Band fame wants her sexual harassment allegations against Diddy to have their day in court.
On Thursday (August 14), a judge dismissed 21 of 22 counts with prejudice of a $60 million lawsuit filed by Rivers, meaning that she cannot refile them.
The R&B singer and podcaster, formerly a member of Bad Boy Entertainment group Da Band, sued the music mogul in January, accusing him of sexual harassment, assault, and overseeing "inhumane" work conditions. In one instance, Rivers accused Diddy of groping her breast while both were in a hallway.

As Judge Rakoff decides whether to dismiss Count 15 with or without prejudice, the final count, which pertains to the Gender-Motivated Violence Protection Act, has been put on hold.
The day after the counts were dismissed, Rivers addressed the matter on Instagram, saying that the "most serious and personal claim" of sexual assault "remains very much alive."

"This fight was never about headlines," she said. "It's about truth, accountability and justice for me and for every other survivor that has been told they should just give up."
Rivers insisted that she "will not be silenced" or "intimidated" by the music mogul before referring to his alleged excessive baby oil usage.

"And don't think because y'all got all that unlimited amount of baby oil that y'all gon' slide through this," Rivers said, concluding by mentioning those who've tried to "defame" her with "false stories."
Large amounts of baby oil were seized from Diddy's Miami and Los Angeles homes during a Homeland Security raid last year. In testimonies from his racketeering and sex trafficking trial, Diddy's accusers claimed that he was insistent on the overindulgence of baby oil during 'freak-offs,' where he would allegedly solicit male sex workers to have intercourse with his female lovers.

Baby oil became a running gag of the trial, with court attendees celebrating Diddy's not guilty verdict on two counts by showering each other with baby oil outside the courthouse.
As for Rivers' lawsuit, which also named MTV, Universal Music, Diddy's mother Janice, and his former assistant Fonzworth Bentley, a rep for the record producer called the allegations "meritless, time-barred, and legally deficient."

"The Court agreed, finding no legal basis to allow them to proceed. We are pleased the Court carefully analyzed and swiftly dismissed these baseless claims," the statement read.

Universal Music Group Rejects Drake’s ‘Absurd’ Claim CEO Lucian Grainge Was Involved In Kendrick Lamar’s Diss Track
Universal Music Group is pushing back against Drake’s latest legal move, denying that chairman and CEO Lucian Grainge played any part in Kendrick Lamar’s 2024 diss track “Not Like Us.” Drake’s team claims Grainge had a “role in and knowledge of the scheme to defame and harass” him and should turn over communications. UMG calls that argument “so strained” it “def[ies] credulity.”

Drake’s lawsuit accuses UMG of approving and promoting the hit track — which included the lyric, “Certified Lover Boy? Certified p*dophiles” and artwork showing his home marked like a s*x offender’s residence to spread “false factual allegation[s]” about him.
Grainge, in a sworn statement, said he never heard the song before release.
UMG’s lawyer, Rollin A Ransom, called Drake’s theory “absurd,” arguing Grainge, as CEO, doesn’t vet “individual tracks or album covers.”

The label says Drake previously agreed not to seek Grainge’s documents and that his request is a “transparent attempt to… harass UMG.”
UMG wants the case dismissed, saying Drake “lost a rap battle… diss tracks are a popular… art form.”

Jackée Harry jokes about her “retired, cocktail in hand” fantasy while celebrating her 69th birthday

Jackée Harry marked her 69th birthday with a humorous Instagram post and a nod to her ongoing career.
Celebrity friends like Wanda Sykes, Vivica A. Fox, and Tim Reid joined in the celebration with supportive comments.
She continues to take on new roles, including a part in Netflix’s “A Man on the Inside” alongside Ted Danson.

Jackée Harry marked her 69th birthday with humor, gratitude, and a reminder that she’s still in the game.
The Emmy-winning actress took to Instagram on Thursday (Aug. 14) to reflect on where she thought life would be at this age versus where it actually is. “69 and still fine! I thought I’d be in San Diego by now — retired, cocktail in hand, cabana boy on call. But child… I’m still here, still laughing, still blessed to do what I love and call it work. Now THAT’S the real happy hour. Thanks for all the birthday wishes and continued support! Luv ya much!!!” Harry wrote.

The post was met with love from fans and famous friends alike. Her “Sister, Sister” co-star Tim Reid commented, “Happy Born Day to this talented and wonderful woman who always challenged me to be a better performer. Love you madly.” Tamera Mowry-Housley added, “Happy birthday Jackee!!!!” while Wanda Sykes wrote, “Happy Birthday! They keep calling, cause you keep hitting it out the park!” Vivica Fox chimed in with, “Happy Blessed Birthday BEAUTIFUL QUEEN! ##LifeIsGood #LeoNation,” and Tyra Banks added, “You look GOOOOD!”

Still booked and busy at 69

While Harry might have envisioned a quieter lifestyle by now, she remains as active as ever. According to Deadline, she has joined the Season 2 cast of Netflix’s comedy “A Man on the Inside,” starring Ted Danson. The show follows a retired man turned undercover mole, with Harry’s role still under wraps.

Harry currently stars as Paulina Price-Carver on “Days of Our Lives” and recently appeared in BET+’s Too Many Christmases. She also starred alongside Fox in the Lifetime original movie The Wrong Marriage, which premiered on June 26.

Tom Cruise Reportedly Turned Down Kennedy Center Honors From President Trump Due To “Scheduling Conflicts”
President Donald Trump unveiled the slate of stars who will be honored at the 48th Kennedy Center Honors later this year. But there is one star in particular who reportedly declined the invitation.
According to The Washington Post, Tom Cruise reportedly declined the lifetime achievement award, citing “scheduling conflicts.” The claim was reportedly confirmed by “several” former and current Kennedy Center employees.

Representatives for Cruise and the Kennedy Center did not respond to Decider’s request for comment in time of publication.
Cruise is fresh off the release of Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, but the actor has several projects coming down the pipeline that may make it difficult to attend the ceremony in December. The actor has not publicly commented on President Trump’s politics and recently declined to answer a question about Trump’s tariffs on movie productions.

Though Cruise will not be attending, the 48th Kennedy Center Honors has already announced which honorees will receive the lifetime artistic achievement award: Actors Sylvester Stallone and Michael Crawford, country singer George Strait, “I Will Survive” singer Gloria Gaynor and KISS. The ceremony will be hosted by President Trump himself.
When announcing the honorees, Trump claimed he “waited and waited” to receive the award himself but “was never able to get one.” He also stated that he was “very involved” in selecting the honorees and “turned down plenty” because of their politics, though he did not name any names.

“They were too woke. I had a couple of wokesters,” Trump said, per Time.
Trump took over as chairman of the Kennedy Center in 2025 after he fired and replaced several members of the board with his own political supporters. He also vowed to steer the organization in a different direction, promising it was “not going to be woke” under his control, leading several artists to cancel their appearances at the Kennedy Center.

The View host Ana Navarro has already publicly shared that she hopes Gaynor would turn down the award, considering Trump’s involvement.
“I wish she wouldn’t accept an award from the hands of a man who has attacked the rights and history of women, people of color and LGBTQ,” Navarro wrote in a social media post. “The gay community in particular, helped turn her signature song into an anthem. Trump is a stain on the prestige and significance of the KCH. Don’t do it, Gloria!”
On the other hand, Stallone has become an outspoken supporter. President Trump personally appointed Stallone to be one of his Hollywood ambassadors, alongside Jon Voight and Mel Gibson.

The 48th Kennedy Center Honors will take place in Washington, D.C., Dec. 7. It will air on CBS and stream on Paramount+.

Lil Yachty apologizes to Stephen Jackson over 'demeaning' George Floyd lyric

Stephen Jackson and Lil Yachty are seemingly on good terms after the former NBA star called out the rapper for mentioning the late George Floyd in an unreleased track.
Lil Yachty, whose real name is Miles McCollum, shared a snippet of a track during a recent Twitch livestream, according to Rolling Stone and Billboard. The song reportedly featured a lyric about Floyd, a 46-year-old black man who died in May 2020 after a white Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin knelt on his head and neck for nearly 10 minutes while arresting him.

“Put my knee up on her neck, I went George Floyd,” Yachty rapped on the song, per Billboard.
Jackson condemned the “One Night” rapper in a now-deleted Instagram post, calling the lyric “demeaning” and writing, “Don’t ever say his name, bro. None of y’all knew G. Nothing about him.”

The San Antonio Spurs alum has long been open about the loss of his friend Floyd, revealing in 2020 that the pair grew up in the same Houston, Texas neighborhood.
Jackson says Yachty apologized for distasteful lyric
In an Aug. 14 Instagram story, the “All the Smoke” podcast host later revealed that he is no longer upset with Yachty after the musician reached out and apologized.

“I took my post down about Yachty because I’m emotional about George. I apologized to him. We spoke and he apologized as well,” Jackson said. “I salute him. Not a lot of people like to own up to when they [expletive] up.”
Jackson added that he agreed a public apology was unnecessary after the two worked things out, and as Yachty understands the frustration caused by the lyrics. He added that he never had an issue with Yachty directly, but rather the idea of it being okay for people to demean the dead.

He later added in an Aug. 15 Instagram post that he won’t be discussing the situation in interviews, adding that “he’s a smart young man” and “We move on from it.”

Angel Reese Reveals New Reebok Signature Sneaker
Angel Reese, the dynamic two-time WNBA All-Star, is stepping firmly into sneaker history. Reebok officially unveiled the Angel Reese 1, her first signature basketball shoe, set for global release on September 18, 2025, priced at $120.

Reese said, “This isn’t just a shoe, it’s my style, my story, and my stamp on the game.” She added, “I wanted to design a basketball shoe that elevates performance, innovation, style, and creative expression, all at once,” emphasizing her vision to merge fashion and function.
The shoe draws inspiration from Reebok’s Mobius line, featuring an exoskeleton upper shaped like angel wings with ventilated mesh for breathability and a molded TPU design for stability. Comfort and performance are key: Energy Return System (ERS™) midsoles with nitrogen-infused SuperFloat™ foam pods cushion impact and deliver bounce, while a TPU stability cup and durable, multi-directional rubber outsole ensure traction for powerful play.

Todd Krinsky, Reebok’s CEO, underscored that the Angel Reese 1 “captures Angel’s unique mix of elegance and strength,” and marks “the next chapter for Reebok Basketball, where performance meets personal style.”
Reese is not only a WNBA standout, but also a cultural force. She has topped milestone charts—fastest to 600 points and 600 rebounds, among other records—and has built a powerful personal brand.

Reebok, revitalizing its basketball roots, sees Reese as a cultural partner. They join forces with her bold off-court style and dominant court presence.
Reese intentionally accelerated the launch from 2026 to 2025: “I thought, Why not now? Why not year two?” she asked. She wants to wear her own shoes while still chasing championship goals—on the court, in fashion, and as an inspiration for young girls.

Denzel Washington Doesn’t Care About Cancel Culture

When it comes to cancel culture, Denzel Washington will never be bothered.
During an interview with Complex to promote Highest 2 Lowest, accompanied by Spike Lee, the acclaimed actor shared his thoughts on cancel culture.
“What does that mean — to be canceled?” after he was asked by Jillian Hardeman- Webb.

“It means you lose public support,” Hardeman-Webb said. “Who cares?” Washington responded.
“I don’t care who’s following who,” he said. “You can’t lead and follow at the same time, and you can’t follow and lead at the same time. I don’t follow anybody. I follow the heavenly spirit. I follow God, I don’t follow man. I have faith in God. I have hope in man, but look around, it ain’t working out so well.”

Without hesitation, Washington said that he doesn’t care about being “followed,” adding, “You can’t be canceled if you haven’t signed up. Don’t sign up.”
“Don’t get me started,” Washington said. “You know, chest is getting tight talking about it.”
Lee couldn’t agree more, saying, “I could care less.”
In another interview on Jake’s Takes, Washington explained that he doesn’t perform to win Academy Awards.

“I don’t do it for Oscars, I really don’t care about that kind of stuff,” Washington said.
“There’s times I won and shouldn’t have won… and didn’t win and should’ve won,” he admitted. “Man gives the award, God gives the reward.”
When asked where he keeps his Oscars, he responded with good-natured humor: “Next to the other one.” He insisted he wasn’t bragging, but simply speaking his truth. And when it comes to his legacy, Washington didn’t mince words: “On my last day, they won’t do me a bit of good!”

DOGE What? Elon Musk’s SpaceX Relied Heavily On Government Contracts While Paying Little To No Taxes
Elon Musk previously headed DOGE, the newly established agency that was tasked with cutting government spending. It turns out his company, SpaceX, is one of the country’s largest welfare recipients, according to a New York Times report.
SpaceX, the rocket and satellite internet company owned by Elon Musk, has received billions of dollars in federal government contracts spanning its over two-decade existence.

In the same breath, which also shouldn’t be surprising to anyone, the company hasn’t paid little to no taxes since its 2002 founding, and according to internal company documents reviewed by The New York Times, SpaceX has been telling investors that it may never have to pay taxes.

The rocket maker’s finances have long been secret because the company is privately held. But the documents reviewed by The Times show that SpaceX can seize on a legal tax benefit that allows it to use the more than $5 billion in losses it racked up by late 2021 to offset paying future taxable income. President Trump made a change in 2017, during his first term, that eliminated the tax benefit’s expiration date for all companies. For SpaceX, that means that nearly $3 billion of its losses can be indefinitely applied against future taxable income.

Tax experts consulted by The Times said that not having to pay $5 billion in federal income taxes was substantial and notable for a company that has relied on contracts with the U.S. government to an unusual degree.
So basically, Elon Musk had to look no further than his company when it comes to waste because he damn sure wasn’t paying his fair share in taxes.

Musk has been noticeably quiet following his fallout with Donald Trump that saw the tech billionaire drop bombshell claims like Trump being in the Epstein Files while slamming the orange menace’s “big beautiful bill.”
It still looks like both Trump and Musk are on the outs, and there is still a chance the petty president could say the word and have all of Musk’s government contracts ripped up, to spite the Tesla chief.
