#MAGFAB: Actor Austin Butler Covers MEN’S HEALTH Magazine!

To Austin Butler, acting had always meant alienation from his body and mind. After his Oscar-nominated performance in ELVIS, he required a dialect coach to un-Elvis. To play the wraithlike, psychopathic nepo baby Feyd-Rautha in DUNE: PART TWO, he went underwent a grueling physical transformation. Ditto for his starring role in Darren Aronofsky’s new nail-biter CAUGHT STEALING. But after a series of burnout-related health scares, he’s learned not to erase himself—and his needs—to put in a great performance. The actor, famous for immersing himself in his roles, decided to go Method on Austin Butler. Featured on the cover of the September/October 2025 issue of MEN’S HEALTH, Butler opens up about his latest whole body, whole mind transformation.
On how his title role in Elvis took over his life: “And then it’s done, after three years. And then it’s like, Wait, what do I focus on now? What do I read about? What do I watch? What do I like? And also, I haven’t talked to my friends. Who do I call?”

On how his view of the acting process has changed throughout his career: “For a long time, I felt that it had to be a tortured process and I would come out the other side broken. Rather than just putting parts of yourself away and trying to pretend that they don’t exist, it’s like going into the gross bits of yourself—going into the bits that you don’t want to look at—and finding a way of integrating that into the whole.”

On how building real connections has become a grounding mechanism for him: “There’s something about filming: Everybody tells you what time to show up, they get you dressed, they show you where your mark is. It can be very infantilizing, and it can be very centered on me. It feels better when I’m calling a friend and just going, ‘I don’t need anything from you; I just want to know: Are you okay? Can I do anything for you?’”
On the unusual challenge of transforming himself into a former baseball for Caught Stealing, and the pictures of baseball players that director Darren Aronofsky would send him for reference: “I actually have a whole section of just baseball players’ asses that he would send me. He was like, ‘Look how thick they are!’ ”

On the impact of his training for the role: “I’ve got a whole section of Celine pants that I just can’t even wear anymore.”

On alcohol: “Drinking has never been my thing. I don’t like the way it makes me feel.”

On a bizarre episode of temporary blindness he experienced while flying to shoot The Bikeriders: “It felt like the life was being sucked from my body. I suddenly felt a euphoric sensation, and I actually genuinely thought I was dying.”

On meeting Laura Dern and seeing serendipitous threads between Dern and his mother, who he lost in 2014: “It was like the whole room just quieted, and we connected on a soul level. We felt like kindred spirits. My mom was even told that she looked like Laura Dern, and so as soon as I see her, it’s like: She looks like my actual mom.”

On how Dern has taught him that when he’s playing dark roles it doesn’t have to destroy the rest of his life: “She’s helping me more and more to see that you can come out the other side, and maybe bits of you have healed, and synthesized, and metabolized. It can be therapeutic, in a way. You don’t have to destroy the light.”

On his go-to cheat meal: “French toast, pancakes, pizza, and pasta, all at the same time.”

On what he considers his favorite book: “Consolations by David Whyte, or Another Country by James Baldwin.”

On what he thinks is the most exciting phrase in the English language: “That first time you hear somebody that you really care about say, ‘I love you.’”

On newsstands now.

#RHOA: Alum Kim Zolciak Accuses Ex Kroy Biermann of Stalking, Asks Judge to Throw Him in Jail
Kim Zolciak accused her estranged husband, Kroy Biermann, of stalking another person’s home she was at and demanded he be thrown in jail for contempt, Us Weekly can exclusively report.
Zolciak, 47, filed court documents in their never-ending divorce battle on August 15. In the heavily redacted filing, the former Real Housewives of Atlanta star accused Biermann, 39, of interfering with her parenting time. The exes share four children: son Kroy Jagger “KJ” Jr., 14, son Kash, 13, and twin daughter Kaia and twin son Kane, 11.

Zolciak and Biermann reached a temporary parenting plan in June. She accused Biermann of violating the terms of the deal and detailed an incident on June 9, which she said ended with her calling the police. She accused Biermann of exhibiting “erratic behavior.”
She alleged that Biermann’s “obsession” with her “has led him to surveilling the residence of a third party at whose residence [Zolciak] was present, as well as following [Zolciak] on such mundane tasks as grocery shopping.”

She claimed Biermann’s “stalking of the third-party’s house while [Zolciak] was there was so pervasive that counsel for the third-party sent” a letter to Biermann threatening to seek a protective order if he did not stop immediately.”
She claimed on June 9 Biermann followed her to Costco, “parked, followed [her] into the store, and then proceeded to follow [her] around the store even going so far as to confront the third-party accompanying [her].”

“[Biermann’s] acts of surveilling, following and harassing [Zolciak] are a willful and dangerous violation of the [temporary parenting plan], and [Biermann] should be held in willful contempt as a result,” her lawyer argued. Zolciak requested that Biermann be ordered to stay away from her residence. She asked that sanctions be imposed against Biermann including incarceration at the local jail. Zolciak also asked for her legal fees to be paid.
As Us first reported, Biermann filed a motion for sole custody on August 15.

#MusicNews: Khalid Announces New Album ‘After the Sun Goes Down

It’s the dawn of a new Khalid era. The diamond-selling artist has announced his fourth album, After The Sun Goes Down, will release Oct. 10 via Right Hand Music Group/RCA Records.
According to press materials, the album explores “themes of love, self-discovery, openness, and a refreshed sense of freedom,” as the 27-year-old steps into a new chapter.

“This chapter is about taking my power back, living in my truth, and being able to express myself freely,” says Khalid. “I’m excited for my fans to experience this new era with me, not just musically, but personally.”
Along with his new album announcement, Khalid has unveiled the lead single “In Plain Sight,” which he co-wrote with its producers Mattman & Robin, Savan Kotecha and ILYA.

The song’s luminescent production radiates with dance-inducing synths and digitized handclaps that evoke a sense of liberation. In this case, Khalid frees himself from a partner who has been creeping on the low. “If you’re the type to sneak around / Just leave the keys on your way out,” he sings.
“In Plain Sight” arrives with a music video directed by 91 Rules. In the clip, a blue-haired Khalid throws a dance party inside a glass enclosure, where everyone seems to be caught in the trance of the groove. Later in the video, the enclosure shatters, giving Khalid and his crew the space to move more freely on the dance floor.

In some ways, the video symbolizes a recent event where Khalid “came out” after being outed by an ex-partner on X (formerly Twitter).
After a since-deleted selfie of Khalid and the person circulated on the app, he took to his account to address it: “️‍!!! there yall go. next topic please lol,” Khalid wrote.
Moments later, he added, “I got outted and the world still continues to turn. Let’s get this straight (lmao) I am not ashamed of my sexuality! In reality it ain’t nobodies business! But I am okay with me love yall.”

The latter post more or less sums up the visual — the glass shattering in the see-through enclosure didn’t break Khalid’s groove, as if it had never been there at all.
After The Sun Goes Down follows 2024’s Sincere, which was led by the Alicia Keys-sampled single “Please Don’t Fall In Love With Me.” The album debuted at No. 2 on Billboard’s Top R&B Albums chart.
“Sincere is a combination of my life experiences; it takes inspiration from conversations that I have had with my fans, supporters, and the people that love me,” Khalid shared.
“When I listen back to this project, I hear a sound that’s so unique and represents me at my best. This album is me at 26, continuing to evolve with the knowledge that I have garnered throughout the years.”

Khalid concluded the year with Sincere (Deluxe), which featured six bonus tracks and collaborations with Normani, Chlöe, and Ayra Starr.

#HipHopNews: Netflix Announces Premiere Date For Season 2 Of "The Vince Staples Show”
Season 2 of “The Vince Staples Show” features six new episodes and premieres Nov. 6 on Netflix.
The series continues its blend of dry comedy and surreal storytelling, rooted in Staples’ personal lens.
Returning cast members include Vanessa Bell Calloway and Naté Jones, with cameos teased for the new season.

When rapper and actor Vince Staples’ self-titled show premiered on Netflix in February 2024, it became a critically acclaimed success; however, it was unclear whether it would get a second season. Fans rejoiced when a forthcoming season was confirmed in June 2024, and now they can set their schedules because “The Vince Staples Show” officially returns in November.

On Tuesday (Aug. 19), Netflix announced that Season 2 of “The Vince Staples Show” will premiere on Nov. 6. The new season’s logline reads: “In the wake of a tragic death, Vince embarks on a wild journey in search of inner peace. However, his path is littered with reminders of his haunted past.”
The series is a comedic satire that incorporates plenty of the dry wit Staples often showcases in his music, interviews and social media accounts. The California native took to Instagram to share one of the first look photos from the new season.

The first season featured cameos from Rick Ross and Bryan Greenberg (“How To Make It In America”) across five episodes. The recurring guest stars, who are also back for Season 2, include Vanessa Bell Calloway (“This Is Us,” “Shameless”) and Naté Jones (“Snowfall,” “Abbott Elementary”). The concept of the show first came together in 2019 with the “Norf Norf” rapper’s YouTube show of the same name that produced only a few episodes. It was soon picked up by Netflix but delayed due to the COVID pandemic until it was finally released last year.

Aside from his own show, Staples has put together a solid acting resume with multiple appearances in the ABC hit sitcom “Abbott Elementary,” HBO’s “Insecure” and the 2015 film Dope. “The Vince Staples Show” has many executive producers, including Staples, Kenya Barris, William Stefan Smith, Andrea Sperling, among others, but is touted as being “from the mind of Vince Staples.”

For the Millioneth time. Mo’Nique Slams Tyler Perry For Destroying Her Career she Claims ‘You Cost My Family Millions’ & Demands Public Apology

Mo’Nique is doubling down on her long-running feud with Tyler Perry, calling him out for what she says was a career-damaging falsehood.
Speaking on “Outlaws with TS Madison,” the Oscar-winning actress alleged Perry told “a lie” that derailed her livelihood. “And that lie cost me 12 years of my career,” she said.
Referring to Perry as “one of the biggest entertainers in the world,” Mo’Nique emphasized the emotional and financial toll his actions had on her.

“Tyler Perry, you cost my family millions and millions and millions of dollars,” she declared. “Until he fixes it, I will not stop.”
She called for Perry to publicly acknowledge his role, citing how he allegedly admitted during a private phone call that he regretted how he treated her.
“You publicly shamed me. So now you have to publicly fix it,” Mo’Nique insisted.
She also compared his behavior to that of Harvey Weinstein, accusing Perry of having a “God complex.”

If you recall, Mo has long accused Tyler or labeling her difficult to work with, leading to missed career opportunities.
Do you think these two will ever make amends?

Kenya Barris & Mike Epps Reunite For CBS Comedy About Estranged Brothers Forced To Coexist After Altadena Wildfire
Kenya Barris is heading back to network television with a CBS comedy starring Mike Epps.
Written by Barris and executive produced by Aaron Kaplan, the multi-camera series is co-produced by BET Studios and CBS Studios. It follows two estranged Black brothers who reunite to sell their late grandmother’s home after the Eaton wildfire devastates Altadena.

When they discover her caretaker co-owns the property and refuses to sell, the brothers are forced to live together, confront their past, and explore themes of legacy and family.

The community of Altadena continues to rebuild after the Eaton wildfire devastated the community earlier this year.
Only Epps is confirmed to act in the project, while Barris joins as executive producer through Khalabo Ink Society. The show marks a reunion between the two after Epps’ role in “You People.” Epps also stars in Netflix’s “The Upshaws,” while Barris continues developing several projects, including a Richard Pryor limited series and “Group Chat” with Kim Kardashian for Hulu.

Tory Lanez’s Lawyers Claim Megan Thee Stallion’s Testimony Was “Riddled With Errors”
Tory Lanez‘s legal team is slamming Megan Thee Stallion’s testimony in an effort to get his conviction overturned.
During a “crucial” hearing in an appeals court on Monday (Aug. 18), attorney Laura L. Cepero told a panel of five judges that Lanez’s (né Daystar Peterson) legal team has an “unwavering belief” that he is innocent as it relates to the 2020 shooting and claims that he didn’t receive a fair trial when he was convicted in 2022. Additionally, they’ve described the verdict as “a miscarriage of justice.”

Cepero also accused prosecutors of misconstruing DNA evidence during closing arguments and told the court that those tests showed there was a “one in a million” chance that his DNA was on the firearm used.
“It is actually marginally more likely that another member of the African American population touched this gun over Mr. Peterson,” she stated. “If our jury had heard that Mr. Peterson maybe one in a million touched the gun, I believe that would have been enough to tip that scale and show reasonable doubt.”

On behalf of the prosecutors, Deputy Attorney General Michael C. Keller argued that the evidence against Peterson had been strong enough to convict him, including three moments when it he appeared to have “tacitly admitted” that he shot at the rapper."
“He was clearly accepting responsibility for something very big […] The evidence in this case was compelling,” Keller continued.

DNA allegations aside, Cepero claimed that Peterson’s attorneys weren’t “allowed to properly cross-examine” Kelsey Harris and stated that his constitutional right to “confront” a key witness was “violated.” She believed jurors were misled in opening statements when Megan’s former bodyguard, Justin Edison, was set to testify and didn’t.

This isn’t Peterson’s first attempt to appeal his conviction. He was found guilty on three felony counts in December 2022 for shooting the “Plan B” rapper during an argument. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
The appeals court will make its ruling in the coming weeks or months. If the verdict is upheld, he can try to get it appealed through the California Supreme Court.

Tamar Braxton, singer and reality TV star, Says she was found in pool of blood after accident

The singer admitted that she feels weak and has trouble even talking about what happened. “As the days go by, the worse it is,” she continued. “The way I look at life now is totally different.”
Tamar Braxton has shared a deeply emotional update with her fans after a frightening accident that almost claimed her life.
The 48-year-old singer took to Instagram on Tuesday, August 19, to explain that she had a near-death experience over the weekend. In her post, she described the moment she was found in a pool of blood after suffering serious injuries.

“I almost died Sunday,” Tamar  Braxton wrote. “I was found in a pool of blood by my friend with a face injury.” She went on to say that she fractured her nose, lost teeth, and is now struggling with her mobility.
The singer admitted that she feels weak and has trouble even talking about what happened. “As the days go by, the worse it is,” she continued. “The way I look at life now is totally different. As my health is on the mend, my mental journey begins. Pray for me for real. I don’t even know what happened to me.”

Along with her post, Tamar played the worship song ‘Spirit Lead Me’ in the background. Later, she shared a page from the Bible, Proverbs 31, which talks about women of strength and resilience. She also posted a short note of gratitude earlier that day: “Thank you God for waking me up today.”

The singer’s confession has left fans both shocked and concerned. Many flooded her social media with prayers and words of encouragement.
This incident comes not long after Tamar appeared on TV alongside her family. She recently starred in ‘The Braxtons’, a WEtv reality series that reunited her with her sisters Toni, Trina, Towanda, and their mother, Evelyn “Miss E” Braxton. They created the show as a tribute to their sister Traci Braxton, who passed away in 2022 after battling esophageal cancer.

Fans Shower Shemar Moore With Support Amid ‘Very Scary’ Incident: ‘We Got Your Six’

S.W.A.T. fans are rallying behind star Shemar Moore as the actor deals with a “very scary” incident surrounding his ex-girlfriend, Jesiree Dizon, and what appears to be an “unhinged” social media follower.
The actor took to Instagram late on Monday, Aug. 19, with a video detailing an onslaught of threats Dizon and her three children have been receiving from another Instagram user that purports to be a fan of Moore, based on the username.

“Ya’ll, this is serious business, I don’t know if I’m supposed to do this, I don’t know if IG takes it down, or whatever, but you’re [messing] with my family, alright?” he began. “That means Jesiree Dizon and that means my daughter Frankie, Jesiree’s daughter Charli, and her son Kaiden. I’m asking all my homies, fans and baby girls, be detectives and find out who this crazy [person] is, because Jesiree is being threatened with her life.”

He went on to quote some of the terrifying comments that have been made by the person in question. “Like, this is crazy. And look, I’ve made all the right calls to my people, my team, private investigators, LAPD, the DA, I got everyone and their mama—you don’t come for me or nobody like that. If I find this person, and I intend to find this person, we are gonna shut you down.”

The second slide featured a screenshot of several social media notifications showing the unknown user making several threats against both the actor’s ex-girlfriend and her children, which includes their daughter Frankie, 2, and two children from previous relationships, a teenage son named Kaiden, and a younger daughter named Charli.

Fans were appalled by the commentary and were quick to send advice and support to the actor.

“We are all here for you and your family 100%. We got your six,” one commenter promised, while another encouraged, “you got this dude.❤️.”
“Omg!!! Prayers for your safety,” another wished over the “Seriously uncool” situation.
“Absolutely disgusting !!!!” another exlaimed. “I’m sorry your family has to deal with such horrible intentions Shemar. Definitely report to the authorities though. I hope you find a resolution to this it’s very scary to deal with.”
One suggested, “…maybe hire some private security in the interim because ppl be bold and trying it these days. Smh the audacity. Absolutely unhinged,” while others affirmed that contacting his local police department or even the FBI was the right move.
“…for real this is ridiculous,” one emphasized.

“Take legal action man. Than they wish they wouldn’t have said that,” another agreed.

The threatening comments appeared to have been left on multiple posts from Dizon on the same platform. She has since limited who can reply to her posts, and the user in question has privated their account.

John Wall announces retirement from the NBA after 11 seasons: 'I gave this game everything I had'
Washington Wizards superstar John Wall is calling it a career. Wall announced his retirement from the NBA on Tuesday in a video thanking his fans, family and teammates for their support during his 11 years as a player.
Wall said he's leaving the game with no regrets, saying, "I gave this game everything I had."

Wall rose to prominence as a high schooler, receiving an invite to the Reebok All-American Camp as a sophomore. He continued to show out during high school, and entered college as one of the top-ranked players in the country.
That ranking turned out to be accurate. Wall spent just one season at the University of Kentucky before going pro. He entered the 2010 NBA Draft, where the Wizards made him the No. 1 overall pick.

He more than lived up to that promise early in his career. Wall averaged 16.4 points as a rookie, finishing second in the Rookie of the Year award voting. He put up similar production in each of his next two seasons before taking a step forward in his fourth year.
Wall averaged 19.3 points and 8.8 assists during the 2013-14 NBA season, earning his first All-Star appearance. It was his first of five straight appearances in the All-Star Game. Wall also earned recognition for his defense during the 2014-15 season, making second-team All-Defense. He notched a seventh-place finish in the MVP voting during the 2016-17 season after averaging a career-high 23.1 points and 10.7 assists.

He was off to a similarly strong start during the 2018-19 season before injuries struck. Wall was limited to just 32 games that season. During the offseason, Wall fell at home, rupturing his Achilles. He missed the entire 2019-20 NBA season recovering.
He returned to action with the Houston Rockets in 2020-21, and still produced strong numbers before again missing time due to injuries. The Rockets, intent to develop younger players, reached an agreement with Wall in which the veteran would not play for the team. Both sides eventually settled on a buy out, but Wall did not play the entire year.

Wall signed with the Los Angeles Clippers ahead of the 2022-23 NBA season. He averaged 11.4 points in 34 games before he was traded back to the Rockets and waived three days later.
Prior to his injuries, Wall was one of the league's premier players. He had incredible speed and court vision and looked capable of carrying the Wizards to great things. But injuries cut his prime short and — eventually — sapped Wall's effectiveness.

Near the end of his retirement video, Wall mentioned that basketball will always be part of his life. He mentioned that "new opportunities" led him to take on the next chapter of his life, so it's possible he'll remain close to the game even though his playing days are over.

Joy Reid Reveals Staggering MSNBC Pay Discrepancy, Says she was paid less Despite Ratings

The gender pay gap remains alive and well in Hollywood, at least according to Joy Reid, who said she was paid a fraction of what her fellow MSNBC hosts earned despite drawing higher ratings.
Speaking at the Martha’s Vineyard African American Film Festival’s C-Suite Soirée on August 7, as reported by People, Reid reflected on her tenure at the cable news network, where she served as a national correspondent for MSNBC following the cancellation of her afternoon show The Reid Report in early 2015. She began hosting The ReidOut in 2020 until it was canceled last February.

“The curse of competency means you’re the best person at what you do,” Reid told the founder of social impact consulting firm Full Circle Strategies Jotaka Eaddy, relaying a conversation she’d had about workplace issues. “You know more than everyone else because you’ve had to do more work and more research to get where you are, and so therefore you’re the one everybody calls.”

“Which means,” she continued, “that because you are the best at it, you actually work the hardest, do the most hours, work the most overtime, and don’t get paid commensurate to the amount of work you do.”
Reid spoke about pay disparities not only throughout her career but also during her time at MSNBC.
“I worked in a business where I was paid a tenth of the salary of people who did literally my same job, the whole time I worked there,” she said of MSNBC. “And we knew that any man that was doing what I was doing was going to make more than me. And that they were going to be able to negotiate higher salaries, even at lower ratings.”

Reid went on to say that her male counterparts tend to have it easier as they “less hours and make more than us, get bigger raises, more opportunities, and more grace. This is the world we live in.”

The ReidOut cancellation occurred as part of a sweeping lineup restructuring under new MSNBC president Rebecca Kutler, who took leadership in early 2025. According to reports, the network aimed to revamp its primetime strategy and expand news-gathering operations. Joy Reid’s 7 p.m. slot was replaced with a new panel show, The Weeknight.
Reid can be found on The Joy Reid Show on YouTube, where she offers her unfiltered opinions on news, pop culture, politics, and events shaping today’s world.

Miller’s Death of a Salesman premiered on Broadway in 1949, winning both the Pulitzer Prize for Drama and the Tony Award for Best Play. With its searing portrait of the American Dream unraveling, the play became one of the cornerstones of 20th-Century Theatre.

Brooklyn lounge massacre leaves 3 dead, 8 wounded

A night out in Brooklyn turned into a nightmare early Sunday morning when multiple gunmen opened fire inside a crowded lounge, killing three people and wounding eight others in one of New York City’s most devastating shootings this year.

The attack unfolded at Taste of the City Lounge on Franklin Avenue around 3:30 a.m., transforming what should have been a typical weekend evening into a scene of chaos and terror. Emergency responders rushed to the scene after receiving multiple frantic 911 calls reporting gunshots and injuries.
The victims, ranging in age from 27 to 61, included both men and women who were simply trying to enjoy their weekend. Among those killed were 1) a 27-year-old man, 2) a 35-year-old man, and 3) a third man whose age has not yet been determined. The eight surviving victims were immediately transported to local hospitals, though their current conditions remain unknown.

NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch revealed disturbing details about the scope of the violence during a press conference Sunday. Investigators discovered at least 36 shell casings scattered throughout the restaurant, suggesting the shooting was both prolonged and intense.
The sheer number of casings indicates this wasn’t a brief exchange of gunfire but rather a sustained attack that left patrons with little chance to escape the violence. Crime scene technicians methodically combed through the debris, collecting evidence that could help identify the perpetrators.

Police suspect multiple shooters carried out the attack, though the exact number remains unclear. The coordination required to wound 11 people suggests this wasn’t a spontaneous act of violence but rather something more calculated and deliberate.
Law enforcement agencies have launched an intensive search for the suspects, with detectives working around the clock to piece together what happened. CCTV footage from the lounge and surrounding businesses is being examined frame by frame to identify the gunmen and track their movements.

A significant break in the case came when investigators recovered a firearm near Bedford Avenue and Eastern Parkway. Forensic experts are now determining whether this weapon was used in the shooting, which could provide crucial leads about the suspects’ escape route.

The fact that no arrests have been made more than 12 hours after the shooting has residents on edge. Multiple gunmen remain at large in one of New York’s most populated boroughs, prompting increased police patrols throughout the area.
The shooting has sent shockwaves through the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood, an area that has seen significant gentrification and community investment in recent years. Local residents expressed disbelief that such violence could occur in their neighborhood.

Taste of the City Lounge, located at 903 Franklin Avenue, serves as a popular gathering spot for locals and visitors alike. The restaurant’s transformation into a crime scene has left the community grappling with questions about safety and security.
Videos obtained by news outlets show the aftermath of the violence, with multiple police cars surrounding the establishment and yellow crime tape cordoning off several blocks. The normally bustling Franklin Avenue was transformed into an active crime scene that remained under investigation throughout the day.

Commissioner Tisch emphasized how unusual this level of violence has become in modern New York City. The NYPD has recorded historically low numbers of shooting incidents and victims through the first seven months of 2025, making Sunday’s attack particularly jarring.
The commissioner described the mass shooting as a terrible anomaly in what has otherwise been a year of declining gun violence across the five boroughs. This context makes the attack even more shocking for residents who have grown accustomed to improved public safety statistics.

Despite the progress in reducing overall gun violence, Sunday’s shooting serves as a stark reminder that devastating incidents can still occur without warning. The randomness of the attack has left many questioning whether anywhere is truly safe from gun violence.

Detectives are pursuing multiple leads while working to establish a motive for the attack. The large number of victims and shell casings suggests this wasn’t a targeted shooting of specific individuals but rather indiscriminate violence affecting anyone who happened to be present.
The recovery of 36 shell casings indicates the gunmen came prepared for extensive violence. Ballistics experts will analyze each casing to determine how many different weapons were used and potentially match them to other crimes.

Police are also interviewing witnesses who survived the shooting, hoping to gather descriptions of the suspects and details about what led to the violence. These firsthand accounts could prove crucial in identifying and apprehending the gunmen.
The NYPD has not released any suspect descriptions or indicated whether they believe the shooting was gang-related, personal, or random violence. As the investigation continues, the families of the victims and the broader Brooklyn community await answers about who was responsible for turning a night out into such tragedy.
Anyone with information about the shooting is urged to contact the NYPD immediately as the search for multiple dangerous suspects continues across the city.

SZA Named Vans Artistic Director in Multi-Year Partnership
Vans has tapped Grammy-winning singer-songwriter SZA as its new artistic director in a multi-year partnership aimed at blending music, fashion and youth culture.
The collaboration will see the artist help shape upcoming campaigns while co-creating exclusive product collections for the California-based footwear and apparel company. Known for her genre-blending sound and influence on style, SZA said the role allows her to highlight themes of individuality and community.

“In Vans, I feel free,” she said in a statement. “I’ve been wearing Knu Skools and other styles for years, they’ve always had an ethos I connect with. As artistic director, my mission is to show that joy, community, creativity, and fashion are all still intersectional. That humanity, culture, and connection are still the access points.”

The first campaign from the partnership is described as a “dreamy ode” to self-expression, directed by Sophie Jones and styled by Alejandra Hernandez. It spotlights the Vans Knu Skool, a 1997 design that updated the classic Old Skoo silhouette for a new generation with a puffed tongue, chunky laces and 3D Sidestripe.
The Knu Skool in Black/White, featured in the launch campaign, is available now at select Vans retail stores and online at Vans.com.

SZA, who has been one of the most prominent voices in contemporary R&B, said her collaboration with Vans reflects a shared creative spirit.
“They stand where I stand, and I’m honored to invite a whole bunch of people to stand Off the Wall with us,” SZA said.

Donny Osmond Reveals the 'Offensive' Advice Michael Jackson Once Gave Him

Donny Osmond is recalling a funny memory with Michael Jackson.
Like Michael, the 67-year-old singer rose to fame when he was young as part of a musical group with his siblings.
While Michael found transitioning to a solo career easy and met success in the music industry, Donny struggled to break away from the image he built up as a member of The Osmonds.

Donny recently shared a clip to his Instagram where he revealed the “offensive” career advice the late “Thriller” singer once gave him.
“The name Donny Osmond was a joke, years ago,” the singer revealed in the clip. “I mean, if you said you like Donny Osmond music, you were ousted.”

He said that in 1983, he approached Michael about how he managed to shake off his family band image and become so massively successful. According to Donny, Michael didn’t shy away from giving him a word of advice.
“He said, ‘Your name’s poison, Donny. You gotta change your name,’” Donny said Michael advised. “It was very offensive. It was tough to hear that. But he was right, because in ‘89, radio stations all across the country played my music, but didn’t say my name.”

David Archuleta Reveals the Status of His Friendship With David Cook Today
David Archuleta is revealing where he stands with American Idol winner David Cook.
The pair competed against one another on the 2008 season of the singing competition show. In the end, David Cook ultimately ended up walking away the winner of season 7 of American Idol while David Archuleta finished in second place.

Despite competing for first place, the pair remained friendly during the season and beyond. Now, each David continues to release music and David Archuleta is revealing the status of his friendship with David Cook.
David told People that while the two of them were close when he and the American Idol winner both lived in Nashville, their friendship has drifted apart in the years since.

“I do not [keep in touch with David Cook] as often now that I live in L.A.,” he told People. “I saw him more back then. We would get lunch sometimes.”
Despite not seeing each other as often, David said the two of them still talk from time to time. He said, “A few months ago he texted me, and I was like, ‘Dude, I was just thinking about you.’ And we were just like, ‘When we’re in the same place, let’s meet up.’”

Brandy and Monica Needs the fans to buy tickets for Their Historic ‘Boy Is Mine Tour’ to save it from Cancellation

*R&B legends Brandy and Monica are sounding the alarm as their highly anticipated co-headlining Boy Is Mine Tour faces potential cancellation due to sluggish ticket sales.
The 24-city U.S. arena tour, named after their 1998 chart-topping duet that ruled the Billboard Hot 100 for 13 weeks, kicks off October 16 at Cincinnati’s Heritage Bank Center and concludes December 7 at Houston’s Toyota Center.
In a candid video, the duo, visibly worn from rehearsals, lounged on a sofa and made a heartfelt plea to fans. “I don’t know what y’all want from us,” Monica said. “We tied,” Brandy added, with Monica echoing, “We tied.”

Brandy expressed frustration, stating, “Uh! Sick of singing ‘The Boy Is Mine!’” Monica chimed in, “Y’all better get them damn tickets.” Brandy reinforced, “Yes, get the tickets!”
The tour, organized by Black Promoters Collective, boasts opening acts Kelly Rowland, Muni Long, and “American Idol” season 23 winner Jamal Roberts. It promises performances in major cities like Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and New York.
“This really is a full-circle moment,” said Brandy, reflecting on the tour’s significance. “Monica and I coming together again isn’t just about the music – it’s about honoring where we came from and how far we’ve both come. ‘The Boy Is Mine’ was a defining chapter in R&B, and to share the stage all these years later is bigger than a reunion – it’s a celebration of growth, sisterhood, and the love our fans have given us from day one.”

Monica shared similar sentiments, noting, “The love that ‘The Boy Is Mine’ continues to receive means everything to me. This tour is a celebration of our history, our impact, and the fans who have grown with us.”

Despite the excitement, SandraRose.com reports that ticket sales are lagging. Atlanta’s State Farm Arena has sold the most tickets, yet 59 seats in front of the stage remain, priced between $569.05 and $754.35. In Cincinnati, 97 tickets near the stage range from $205.50 to $470, with many still unsold.

The tour’s fate hangs in the balance as Brandy and Monica await a surge in ticket purchases to bring their nostalgic celebration to life.
