#RHOA: Porsha Williams Lands Role on Brilliant Minds Season 2
Season 16 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta may have just wrapped, but Porsha Williams remains booked and busy. Sadly, her longtime friendship with Shamea Morton seems to be over. Their friendship slowly broke down as RHOA viewers watched.
Their falling out involved a fight between their mothers and Porsha’s alleged unhappiness over Shamea scoring her peach. Plus, Porsha thought that Shamea wasn’t a good friend. It was a lot to deal with, and the duo’s squabbling on social media has continued. However, amid her divorce from Simon Guobadia and her friendship woes with Shamea, Porsha has been adding to her acting resume.
According to Variety, Porsha landed a guest-starring role on Season 2 of Brilliant Minds. The medical drama stars Zachary Quinto as a neurologist working to discover the secrets of the human brain. Porsha’s character, Bitsy, will pop up in the premiere episode. Her character is described as “an affluent Upper West Side housewife who sees Dr. Carol Pierce in her private practice. She knows all the gossip about everyone, on every medical board in New York City.” Sounds fit for a housewife!
Of course, Porsha has flexed her acting muscle before. She performed onstage in A Mother’s Love, which was created by her RHOA co-star, Kandi Burruss. Porsha also appeared in the Lifetime movie, Single Black Female 3: The Final Chapter. She portrayed detective Ebony Williams.
Meanwhile, Porsha competed in Season 4 of The Traitors. The new season is set to drop in 2026. Porsha had some prior drama with Real Housewives of Potomac alum Candiace Dillard Bassett. Since Candiace unfollowed Porsha, I guess we can expect some fireworks in the castle.

#MusicNews: Lady Gaga’s ‘Wednesday’ Role Will Also Include A Spooky New Song For Season 2

Lady Gaga‘s involvement in Wednesday season 2 extends beyond acting to a brand-new song, Billboard can confirm.
Gaga is expected to release a new song titled “Dead Dance” next month, timed to her guest role on the new season, Variety was the first to report. The outlet also reported that Andrew Watt and Cirkut — who worked with Gaga on her most recent album Mayhem — are behind the new song.
Back in May, Netflix confirmed that Gaga would appear in season 2 of Wednesday, the hit series starring Jenna Ortega as Wednesday Addams, playing “the mysterious and enigmatic Rosaline Rotwood, a legendary Nevermore teacher who crosses paths with Wednesday.” The streaming service announced the news of Gaga as guest star at its Tudum fan event at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles on May 31.
Gaga also took the stage at the event for a Wednesday-themed set that had her emerging from a coffin with a lid that read “HERE LIES THE MONSTER QUEEN.” She performed the on-theme Mayhem tracks “Zombieboy” and “Abracadabra” before returning to her coffin, and the middle of her mini-set included a dance performance to The Cramps’ “Goo Goo Muck,” inspired by the viral dance scene from Wednesday‘s first season.
Back in 2022, fans inspired by the Wednesday scene uploaded videos of themselves performing the dance to TikTok and other platforms, but many Little Monsters swapped out the audio of “Goo Goo Muck” with a sped-up version of Gaga’s “Bloody Mary” — including the pop star herself after she caught onto the trend. Gaga’s association to the show now continues with the season 2 acting role and new song.
According to Variety, a music video will also be released for the song in September as well. Last month, it was reported that Gaga was spotted with Wednesday director Tim Burton on the Island of the Dolls, south of Mexico City, but there’s no word whether that is related to the new song or video.
The first Wednesday season 2 episodes arrive (naturally) on Wednesday to Netflix. A second batch is due Sept. 3, which will seemingly include Gaga’s appearance on the show.

#HipHopNews: Ksoo & ATK Scotty Found Guilty In Jacksonville Rapper Lil’ Buck Murder
Ksoo, a Jacksonville rapper, and ATK Scotty, both alleged to be gang members, were found guilty in the 2020 murder of local rapper Lil’ Buck in retaliation for a diss track aimed at Ksoo’s half-brother. According to prosecutors, Ksoo and ATK Scotty are allegedly part of the ATK gang.
As reported by local outlet Action News Jax, Ksoo, real name Hakeem Robinson, and ATK Scotty, real name Leroy Whitaker, were both found guilty of first-degree murder in connection to the killing of Lil’ Buck, real name Charles McCormick Jr. Robinson and Whitaker allegedly carried out the hit against McCormick over a diss track aimed at Robinson’s half-brother, adding to the famialir tone of violence that the Florida Drill rap scene has become infamous for.
As previously reported, Robinson’s father, Abdul Robinson Sr., testified in court and supported earlier statements that his son was responsible for the shooting. The elder Robinson delivered his testimony in connection with a plea deal, which carries a 76-year sentence, and he has already served a significant portion of the time.
State Attorney Melissa Nelson said of the verdicts, “Five years ago, Hakeem Robinson and Leroy Whitaker stalked a man and gunned him down in broad daylight because of disputes and drill rap. Today, a jury held them accountable for their brazen crimes. This was an incredible effort by law enforcement and our team that takes two killers off our streets. Thank you to the jury for their time and dedication.”
In addition to the murder verdict, Whitaker was also found guilty of burglary with assault or battery. The pair will be officially sentenced on September 8.

Diddy Denied Bail, Must Stay In Jail Until Sentencing

Diddy will remain behind bars until sentencing after a federal judge in Manhattan denied his request for bail, citing his history of violence and potential to flee.
U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanian ruled that Combs failed to meet the strict legal threshold required for pre-sentencing release. The court found no “clear and convincing evidence” that he is neither a danger to the public nor a flight risk.
Diddy, who is awaiting sentencing on charges tied to prostitution-related crimes, had asked the court to consider exceptional circumstances.
His legal team presented a $50 million bail package secured by his Miami property and co-signed by family members, including his mother Janice Combs. Some relatives even surrendered their passports.
The defense also offered to limit his travel to Florida, New York and New Jersey for legal appointments and said he would comply with mental health and substance abuse treatment.
Despite those offers, the court sided with prosecutors who argued that Diddy’s wealth, influence and past violent conduct made him a serious risk.
The judge emphasized that no amount of money or monitoring could ensure he wouldn’t interfere with witnesses or pose a threat to others.
“Increasing the amount of the bond or devising additional conditions doesn’t change the calculus given the circumstances and heavy burden of proof that Combs bears.,” the judge wrote in the ruling, rejecting the defense’s proposed conditions, including house arrest and electronic monitoring.
Diddy’s lawyers tried to point to deteriorating conditions at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, where he is currently held. They described the facility as unsafe, poorly staffed, and serving maggot-infested food.
But the court dismissed those claims as insufficient to justify release.
“The public outcry concerning these conditions has come from all corners. But as Combs acknowledges, MDC staff has been able to keep him safe and attend to his needs, even during an incident of threatened violence from an inmate,” the judge said, referencing a prior case where release was granted only due to a defendant’s old age and severe health issues.
The court made no ruling on the underlying evidence, reserving that for sentencing, which is scheduled for October 3, 2025. Until then, Diddy will remain in custody.

Salt-N-Pepa Blast UMG Amid Legal Battle: “We Had To Sue Them”
Salt-N-Pepa called out Universal Music Group on national television Monday (August 4), accusing the label of blocking their classic hits like “Push It” from streaming platforms and refusing to return ownership of their master recordings despite legal rights that should have kicked in after 35 years.
The Hip-Hop trailblazers, Cheryl “Salt” James and Sandra “Pepa” Denton, appeared on Good Morning America to explain why they filed a federal lawsuit against UMG in May.salt
They say the label is stonewalling their efforts to reclaim their early catalog, which includes genre-defining singles like “Shoop” and “Let’s Talk About Sex.”
“We have done all the things legally to get our copyrights back, but they’re just refusing. So, we had to sue them,” said James.
Filed Tuesday (May 19) in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, the lawsuit hinges on Section 203 of the U.S. Copyright Act. That statute gives artists the right to terminate copyright transfers and regain control of their masters after 35 years. Salt-N-Pepa submitted formal termination notices in 2022.
UMG, however, argues the duo’s early recordings were “works made for hire” and that neither James nor Denton were named in the original contracts, making them ineligible to reclaim ownership.
The company has filed a motion to dismiss the case and declined to comment on the ongoing litigation.
Salt-N-Pepa Claims UMG “Holding Our Rights Hostage”
In the meantime, Salt-N-Pepa allege UMG retaliated by pulling their early albums from Spotify, Apple Music and other major streaming services between May and July 2024, cutting off both revenue and exposure.
“We didn’t have that leverage,” Denton said, adding, “We didn’t have that knowledge. We didn’t have that control in the ’80s. And so to be held to a contract from 1985 and 40 years later is ridiculous.”
The lawsuit seeks actual damages that could exceed $1 million, punitive damages and a permanent injunction affirming their rights to the masters.
The pair said the legal battle is bigger than just their catalog—it’s about protecting artists’ rights and ensuring creators can reclaim their work after decades of industry control.
“They’re just holding our rights hostage,” James said.
When asked how they want to be remembered, Denton didn’t hesitate: “Those girls fight. They real. They fight for their rights, for our rights, for women rights. Nothing’s fake. What you see is what you get.” James added, “I want to inspire women. Inspire and encourage women to be themselves, to go for it, you know, and to not be afraid to knock down barriers in the workplace, in the world, whatever you’re doing, just be strong.”

DeVon Franklin Marries Fitness Influencer Maria Castillo in Star-Studded, ‘Deeply Spiritual’ Wedding
DeVon Franklin, the renowned preacher, producer, and bestselling author, has officially tied the knot with celebrity fitness trainer Maria Castillo in a romantic and “deeply spiritual” lakeside ceremony at Casa Lago Beverly Hills on August 2, 2025. The couple’s nuptials, exclusively featured in People magazine, brought together a star-studded guest list.
Franklin and Castillo’s love story began roughly a year ago when they were introduced by a mutual friend and trainer, Mike Trusdale, who believed they were a perfect match. Trusdale arranged a brunch that sparked an instant connection, and the couple has been inseparable since. Their relationship went public in October 2024 at The Pink Awards in Georgia, followed by appearances at the Merge Awards Gala and the 2025 BET Awards.
Franklin proposed to Castillo a few months later, on December 27, 2024, during a romantic sunset photoshoot in Hawaii. “Finding Maria has been one of God’s greatest blessings in my life,” Franklin shared in an interview.
The newlyweds exchanged vows in a ceremony that People described as a “culinary fusion” of their cultures, blending Franklin’s African American roots with Castillo’s Dominican heritage. The wedding was meticulously planned to reflect their shared values and love story. “The vision was to create something that feels like us and brings our friends and family into our love story,” Franklin told People.

The guest list included celebrities like Kelly Rowland, Tim Witherspoon, LeToya Luckett, Adrienne Bailon-Houghton, Tyler Lepley, and more.
This is Franklin’s second marriage, following his highly publicized divorce from actress Meagan Good in 2022 after nearly a decade together. The former couple, who met on the set of Jumping the Broom in 2011.
Franklin, known for producing films like Miracles from Heaven and authoring bestsellers like The Wait, has been open about his healing journey post-divorce. In a conversation with Nick Cannon, he shared that the split shook his belief system but ultimately led to personal growth, paving the way for his relationship with Castillo, a rising star in the fitness world known for her Flawed & Fit program, which has trained A-listers like Angela Simmons among others.

Mariah Carey Brings Her Rainbow To Brighton For 2025 Pride In The Park
Mariah Carey finally took the stage at Brighton Pride 2025 — five years after she was originally scheduled to appear, per The Guardian. The delay was due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Dressed in a mini metallic dress that resembled the colors from the transgender flag, the embellished, cropped pink bomber jacket that completed her first look had the message “Protect The Dolls” embroidered on the back.
Reports confirmed that the illustrious songbird and LGBTQ+ ally kicked off her set with her latest single, “Type Dangerous,” off her forthcoming album, Here For It All. She then transported fans back to 1991 with “Emotions” and “Make It Happen.” Attitude described the medley as a “magnificent gospel moment.” She followed that run with “I’ll Be There,” “Vision of Love,” and “Dreamlover” with critics confirming that her whistle register is still a showstopper.
Carey had at least two outfit changes and kept the crown entertained with a “Heartbreaker“/”Honey” mashup as well as hits across her catalog including “Beautiful,” “Obsessed,” “Touch My Body,” “We Belong Together,” and even “Fly Like A Bird.” BBC reported that some fans donned holiday attire in hopes of hearing her festive classic, “All I Want Christmas Is You.” However, Carey left that one off the setlist considering for the past few years, she’s reserved it for her holiday tours.
While onstage, she praised her LGBTQIA+ fans. “Both as a community and as individuals have been here for me for so long, supporting me through good times and bad, and I just want you to know that I’ll always, always be there for you,” she expressed.
Carey reiterated that sentiment on Instagram following the show. “Thank you so much @brightonprideofficial for having me tonight! A special heartfelt thank you to the LGBTQ+ community for your ongoing support. I will always be there for you. Love, MC,” she wrote.

‘Tiny Desk’ Producer Breaks Silence About Series’ Future As CPB Loses Federal Funding

The Corporation of Public Broadcasting (CPB) announced on Friday (Aug. 1) that it was shutting down due to Congress and the Trump administration eliminating its federal funding.
With CPB being the key source of funding for PBS and NPR, many were gutted about losing free public programming like Sesame Street and the beloved Tiny Desk series. However, Bobby Carter, producer of NPR’s Tiny Desk, has made a statement regarding the future of the series.
Via Instagram, Carter wrote, “I’ve heard from many friends, family and audience members who are worried that NPR/Tiny Desk is shutting down. It is not. Unfortunately, CPB is shutting down. I encourage everyone to support Public Media and donate. I appreciate all the calls, texts, and messages. They have been overwhelming and heartwarming.”
According to a CBS report, CPB is a private nonprofit organization founded in 1967 that provides funds for 1,500 local public radio and television stations, including PBS and NPR. Trump signed the executive order to halt $1.1 billion of federal funding back in May, and the following month, the House approved the request.
“Despite the extraordinary efforts of millions of Americans who called, wrote, and petitioned Congress to preserve federal funding for CPB, we now face the difficult reality of closing our operations,” said CPB President and CEO Patricia Harrison in a statement. “CPB remains committed to fulfilling its fiduciary responsibilities and supporting our partners through this transition with transparency and care.”
NPR President and CEO Katherine Maher also spoke out against the funding cuts to the outlet in a July 2025 interview. “Public media, public radio, public television are a critical part of the emergency response plans of nearly half of the states in this nation,” she stated. “If these types of emergency alerting go away, you will have fewer outlets to be able to respond in real time.”
Most CPB employees will be laid off on Sept. 30, 2025, when the fiscal year ends. A “small transition team” will remain through January 2026 to “ensure a responsible and orderly closeout of operations.”

Sterling And Shannon Sharpe Become First Brothers Enshrined In NFL Hall Of Fame
In a long-overdue moment of recognition, former Green Bay Packers wide receiver Sterling Sharpe was officially enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Saturday (Aug. 2) during a moving ceremony in Canton, Ohio.
The honor makes Sharpe, 60, the 382nd member of the Hall—and notably, part of history. Alongside his younger brother Shannon Sharpe, the Sharpes are now the only pair of siblings ever inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Sharpe delivered an emotional and reflective speech, underscoring the love and determination that fueled his career before it was abruptly cut short due to a neck injury in 1994.
“God has smiled on me,” Sterling began. “Every time I speak publicly, every time I get out of bed, every time I go to bed, I say this: This is my life. There are many lives here, but this one is mine… I stand before you today as the 382nd member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame because of love. You see, you have to learn to follow before you can lead.”
Sharpe was a dominant force in the NFL from 1988 to 1994, earning three First Team All-Pro selections and leading the league in multiple receiving categories. His 1992 season remains legendary, as he captured the receiving “Triple Crown”—leading the NFL in receptions, yards, and touchdowns.
But perhaps the most powerful moment of the ceremony came when Sharpe addressed his brother, Hall of Fame tight end Shannon Sharpe, who was inducted in 2011.
“The only reason I’m standing here, the only reason I told all those stories, everything I did athletically, I did for an audience of one,” Sharpe said. “I didn’t care what was written, said, thought, talked about, prayed about. When you grow up in rural South Georgia, it’s hard to find heroes, and I didn’t want this person to look outside our own dinner table to find a role model.”
He then called his brother to the stage: “As one half of the first brothers selected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame, you’ve got to come up here and stand next to me, my man.”
“It’s so wonderful to be able to experience love and appreciation from my family,” he added. “This is why I played football. This is why I got out of bed. It wasn’t work. It was because of this right here.”
Sterling had waited 26 years for this honor, finally receiving the nod from the seniors committee after decades of advocacy from fans and analysts who viewed his brief but brilliant career as Hall of Fame-worthy.
Last week, Shannon Sharpe expressed his remorse for news of his official departure from ESPN breaking during the leadup to the ceremony, which he felt took away from the focus being solely on his brother.
Days earlier, Shannon settled a lawsuit with his sexual assault accuser and finalized his departure from ESPN, but revealed that he had asked for the announcement of his exit to be delayed until after Sterling’s big moment, to no avail.
Other inductees in the 2025 class included Antonio Gates, Jared Allen, and Eric Allen, but for many, the highlight was watching two brothers from rural Georgia embrace on football’s biggest stage—both legends, both gold-jacketed, and now forever linked in NFL immortality.

#MovieNews: Djimon Hounsou and Halle Berry Set to Star in Africa-Set Trafficking Thriller ‘Red Card’
Djimon Hounsou and Halle Berry have signed on to lead Red Card, a tense new thriller inspired by real-life events and set across the sweeping landscapes of Africa. The film will take audiences from Kenya’s Maasai Mara to the port city of Casablanca, Morocco, as it explores the global crisis of human trafficking through a deeply personal lens.
Directed by Crown Vic filmmaker Joel Souza and penned by George and Nick Vallelonga, Red Card follows Max Elmi (Hounsou), a veteran wildlife ranger in Kenya whose world is upended when his son—an aspiring soccer star—is lured by a shady sports agent and vanishes into North Africa’s underworld. In his desperate search for answers, Max joins forces with special agent Dane Harris and Amanda Bruckner (Berry), a seasoned FBI supervisor working with international task forces to dismantle trafficking rings.
As Max’s personal mission becomes entangled with a larger global operation, both he and Dane must face moral and physical limits in a high-stakes rescue mission that spans continents.
The original story comes from Ava Roosevelt, Robert Menzies, and Michael J. Hershman. The project has been endorsed by the National Centre for Missing & Exploited Children and is backed by the Soloviev Foundation.
Hounsou, a two-time Oscar nominee (Blood Diamond, In America), brings decades of depth to the role, with credits including Gladiator, A Quiet Place: Day One, and Guardians of the Galaxy. Berry—an Academy Award winner for Monster’s Ball and a Golden Globe and Emmy winner for Introducing Dorothy Dandridge—returns to the thriller space following action-packed turns in X-Men, Die Another Day, and her directorial debut Bruised.
Souza praised the project, saying, “Red Card is a fantastic script, from writers who have created film classics, and Djimon is an actor of uncommon power and depth. Together, we all look forward to telling a thrilling story we truly believe will grip audiences worldwide.”
Casting is underway for the role of Dane Harris, with production set to begin in Q4 of this year.
The film is produced by Anjul Nigam (Crown Vic, Growing Up Smith), Robert Menzies (Fatman), and Ava Roosevelt (The Racing Heart). Executive producers include Ryan Winterstern, Brandon Burrows, Nat McCormick, and Danny Gusman. Range Select and Stoic will co-represent North American sales, while Stoic handles international rights.

Monica – known to push the limits of fashion – chose black instead of white for her wedding editorial. She shared images with fans on August 3.

What's the Tea? Tiffany Haddish and Jason Lee Had a Baby?
Did Tiffany Haddish welcome a baby with Jason Lee? On Sunday, August 3, the friends shared photos via Instagram in which they happily posed with an adorable infant. A beaming Haddish, 45, sported a denim dress as she held the little one, who wore a blue outfit and hat. In one snapshot, Lee, 47, hugged Haddish and gripped a stroller. “Cats out the bag ❤️,” he captioned their joint IG post.
The photos left fans confused and requesting clarity in the comment section.
“What does this mean,” actress Tasha Smith remarked, while former reality star Renee Graziano reacted with: “Wait what??????”
Another follower wrote, “Someone go get the cat, I got questions.”
The speculation ran wild, with one fan wondering, “Does this mean that you both had a baby together via surrogate?” Meanwhile, someone else questioned, “Jason..for real?! Or you playing??” That person then congratulated the podcaster: “You’d be an awesome dad! Both beautiful parents!”
We've reached out to Haddish and Lee’s reps for comment.
If the pair did bring a child into the world, it would be the first for both.
Haddish married William Stewart in 2008 and filed to divorce him three years later. The proceedings were finalized in 2013. She went on to date rapper Common from 2020 to 2021 after they bonded on the set of the 2019 film The Kitchen. She later claimed that he broke up with her over the phone.
“[It was] the healthiest, the funnest [sic] relationship I’ve ever had,” she told The Washington Post in 2023. “It’s where I felt safest out of all the relationships I’ve ever had.”
The following year, Haddish discussed her dating preferences during an appearance on Dax Shepard’s “Armchair Expert” podcast.
“I don’t think I’ll ever f*** a movie star. Ever,” Haddish said in May 2024. “I f***ed an entertainer. I don’t think I’ll ever do that again. I think I’ll f*** one again, but never in a relationship.”
Flash-forward to May 2025, when she appeared on Late Night with Seth Meyers and revealed, “I’m still dating multiple people, but new multiple people. But one or two from the old roster transferred over to the new roster. There’s a couple holdovers. I’m running a team here.”
The prior November, Haddish had joined an episode of Lee’s podcast “Hollywood Unlocked,” where the platonic pals talked about having a baby together.
“You did promise me you would give me a kid,” Lee, who’s gay, said at the time. “So let me ask you a question. So I had Cardi B here, she’s already said she’ll be my kid’s godmother. You said you would give me a kid. Are you serious about that?”
Haddish replied, “Yeah. I wanted to talk to you about the cost of…because I said I wanted to do it the old-fashioned way. You said no. So I want to talk to you about the cost of [having a baby].”
Previously, she’d been candid on the subject of adopting a child, telling E!’s Daily Pop in 2021 that she was less interested in choosing surrogacy.
“I’m taking parenting classes now to adopt,” she revealed at the time. “I’m looking at, you know, 5 and up — really like 7. I want them to be able to know how to use the restroom on their own and talk. I want them to know that I put in the work and I wanted them.”
She added, “I don’t wanna pay nobody to carry my baby neither, ’cause then I have to go through a process of giving myself injections and all that stuff. And I already gave up — here goes something everybody don’t know, I’m gonna tell you: When I was 21 I was really hard up for some money and I gave up a bunch of eggs.”
She said, “So who knows, I might got some kids out here in these streets. I doubt it, though, because I never got the bonus. Maybe somewhere though, in cryo somewhere!”

Christian Coleman breaks silence on Sha’Carri Richardson arrest

Christian Coleman is speaking out after his girlfriend, Sha’Carri Richardson, was arrested for domestic violence over the weekend.
“I feel like it was just a sucky situation all around,” Coleman told reporters outside of the US Championships on Sunday (Aug. 3). “I don’t feel as if she should have been arrested.”
On July 27, after leaving the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, Richardson and Coleman got into a verbal altercation that turned physical, according to a police report obtained by The New York Times. She was charged with fourth-degree domestic violence after airport footage showed Richardson pushing Coleman, forcing him to fall, according to USA TODAY. Richardson stayed in custody for about 19 hours before being released on Monday, July 28, according to jail records obtained by People.
“People have discussions and emotions and stuff like that,” Coleman said. “Does she have things that she needs to work on for herself? Of course. But so do I. So do you. So does everybody. And I’m a type of guy, I’m in the business of extending grace and mercy and love. … I just look at situations like this to take a step back, analyze yourself mentally, and then just try to see what you could do to be your best self so that you can move forward.”
Coleman continued to defend Richardson calling her a “great person” and “the best female athlete in the world.” At the time of assault refused to press charges “declined to be a victim” according to the police report. Law enforcement told Coleman they had no choice but to arrest her since the airport footage showed the assault.
“She’s a human being and a great person,” Coleman continued. “And I feel like we’ve been able to be really good teammates like all year. … And she’s, to me, the best female athlete in the world. I see it every day.”
While it’s unclear what started the argument, Coleman shared that the Olympic gold medalist “just has a lot of things going on.”
“A lot of emotions and forces going on inside of her that not only I can’t understand, but nobody can,” Coleman added. “Because she’s one of one. … I know that it’s been a tough journey for her this year. But she’s going to bounce back. Like I said, I see it every day. She’s the best female athlete in the world, and she’s going to be just fine. She’s going to be good. I’m going to be good, too.”

Comedian Eddie Griffin Doubts Malcolm‑Jamal Warner’s Drowning: “Too Many Different Stories”
Comedian Eddie Griffin publicly voiced his skepticism about the reported drowning death of Malcolm‑Jamal Warner. He told audiences he simply doesn’t buy the official story. “I don’t believe that man drowned. I don’t. It’s too suspicious, there were too many different stories,” Griffin said
Warner, beloved for his early career role in *The Cosby Show*, was reportedly found in a body of water. But Griffin pressed further, pointing out the conflicting accounts surrounding the circumstances. He implied the inconsistencies are enough to raise doubts and suggested a deeper investigation might be warranted.
Griffin’s remarks follow rising chatter across social media and entertainment circles questioning the details of Warner’s passing. While investigative authorities have not confirmed foul play, Griffin insists the publicly released narrative doesn’t align—claiming it reads more like speculation than established fact.
So far, Warner’s estate and the official investigative bodies have not responded to Griffin’s comments. His voice adds to a growing conversation demanding clarity, transparency, and answers about what really happened. Even fans and fellow entertainers are now calling for more open communication around what led to Warner’s tragic death.
Sheryl Lee Ralph & Vincent Hughes Renew Their Vows for 20th Anniversary

Sheryl Lee Ralph and Vincent Hughes are celebrating their love! The Abbott Elementary actress and Pennsylvania state senator, both 68-years-old, celebrated their 20th anniversary by renewing their vows in an iconic Philadelphia location.
The two of them shared their 20th anniversary vow renewal ceremony with Vogue. The couple gave the publication all the details, including how many guests they had, who was the bigger diva on their big day, and just how long the extravagant train on her shawl was.
The two renewed their vows on the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. The stairs were made famous in the Rocky movie series, starring Sylvester Stallone who is seen running up them during a training montage in the 1976 movie.
“Sheryl was beautiful — is beautiful. Coming up those steps? She was just all of that and a bag of barbecue potato chips,” Vincent told the publication of their special day.
Sheryl wore an 80-foot shawl with her dress that she said was carried by over 20 Philadanco ballerinas as she came up the stairs.
She joked about the extravagant detail and told Vogue, “How could I walk up all of those steps without leaving a trail of something for everybody to look at?”
Even though her outfit made a big statement, Sheryl told the publication that the 250-person guest list got so long because of Vincent. She told the publication, “My husband has turned into groomzilla, and his list is twice as long as mine.”
