#FASHIONFAB: Jimmy Choo Shoes Fall 2025 Finds East London’s 1990s grit with Tokyo street codes

Jimmy Choo’s fall 2025 campaign, photographed by Takay in Japan, stages the brand’s language of craft in an environment of brick and stone. The creative direction balances East London’s 1990s grit with Tokyo street codes, producing a study in how tailoring heritage can progress through time while preserving clarity.

Sandra Choi, the house’s Creative Director, frames this season’s approach as honoring expertise while shaping icons for today. That intent plays out across fall’s reimagined staples.
The Buff Tassel Loafer carries a blunt toe, rubber sole, and metallic-tipped leather fringes, recasting a familiar form with sharper weight.
Sneakers take parallel strides: the Diamond X II in merlot suede and Nappa rests on a gem-fragment sole, while the Diamond Maxi shapes quilted Nappa into sculptural volume.

Accessories extend Jimmy Choo’s reimagining of essentials. Studded Diamond Hobos and compact Box Camera Bags use embellishment as seam marker and anchor, binding decoration to function.
Together, these pieces expand Jimmy Choo’s men’s vocabulary across full wardrobes: from Chelsea boots and quilted sneakers to cross-body bags.
The campaign styling by Shohei Kashima underscores scale and contrast, with oversized coats, wide shorts, and relaxed tailoring aligned against rugged footwear. Motofumi “Poggy” Kogi’s curatorial role further connects British lineage to Japanese street instinct.
Set against concrete steps and brick corridors, Jimmy Choo’s fall 2025 collection reads as a passage through time with form that endures and detail that evolves.
#RHOA: Kiki Barth Teases Explosive 'Real Housewives of Miami' Reunion: 'It Was Dramatic'
Kiki Barth is teasing the upcoming Real Housewives of Miami reunion.
While speaking to Parade, the 36-year-old model opened up about the “funny” and “dramatic” upcoming reunion.
During the interview, Kiki promised that the RHOM reunion will be explosive, sharing that it’s “funny” at times and had a whole season worth of drama. Plus, she teased whether or not two former friends in the cast might be able to set aside their differences.
When asked about the upcoming reunion, Kiki said that fans have a lot to look forward to.
“It was a long reunion. It was tough, it was funny, it was comical, it was dramatic,” Kiki told the publication, promising that “bombs” will be dropped when it airs.
While the season has been full of drama between Guerdy Abraira and Julia Lemigova, it sounds like it’s going to be continuing when the reunion airs.
“I keep telling everyone, it will feel like a whole season by itself,” Kiki teased.
When asked about the falling out between former best friends Guerdy and Julia, Kiki didn’t seem confident in the possibility that they might see eye-to-eye at the reunion.
“It’s sad and I would be anything to try to bring them back, but sometimes when you reach a certain level, I don’t think there is any going back,” Kiki lamented.

Teyana shared about the project: “Escape Room isn’t just a film or an album, it’s a world I built to live in, bleed in, and heal in. I poured my heart into every layer, from the story to the sound, to capture that journey we all take through the shadows of heartbreak, whether that’s love lost, friendships broken, dreams deferred and guide you toward the lightness of healing. It’s the visual representation of my scars, the picture of my healing, and a mirror for anyone ready to face their own truth. This is more than a story… it’s a place to break free.”
The short film can be streamed on the Amazon Music app and Twitch.
Teyana not only stars in this enigmatic post-apocalyptic/futuristic, noir romance thriller, but she also wrote, directed, and produced it under the banner of her all-female production company The Aunties. The accompanying album stands out as her first new music in five years.
#HipHopNews: Tyler, The Creator’s ‘Cherry Bomb’ Returns To Billboard 200 Top 10 After 10 Years
The reissue of Cherry Bomb pushed Tyler, The Creator’s 2015 album back into the Billboard 200 at No. 6.
The album moved 52,000 units, with 51,000 from pure sales driven by vinyl and deluxe box sets.
Tyler reflected on the album’s mixed reception, calling it a turning point in his growth as a producer and songwriter.
Tyler, The Creator has been doing pretty well on the charts lately. Sunday (Aug. 31), Billboard reported that the rapper’s Cherry Bomb returned to the Billboard 200 at No. 6, mostly thanks to its 10th anniversary re-release.
According to the publication, the 13-song effort moved 52,000 album-equivalent units, with 51,000 from pure sales. In case you missed it, Cherry Bomb received three vinyl variants and deluxe boxed sets, the latter of which contained merch and a CD copy. The last time the project cracked the Top 10, by the way, was when it first dropped and peaked at No. 4 on the chart dated May 2, 2015.
Alongside the physical copies, Tyler’s GOLF WANG also dropped some other collectibles inspired by “Chur Bum” — the pink-faced character from the album cover — including a rug, a mini statue, and limited-edition Converse Chuck 70s.
Cherry Bomb was arguably one of the most pivotal albums in Tyler’s career. It housed tracks like the Charlie Wilson-assisted “F**KING YOUNG / PERFECT” and “SMUCKERS” featuring Kanye West and Lil Wayne. Other contributions came from Kali Uchis, ScHoolboy Q, Syd, and Pharrell.
He revisited the LP during Instagram’s “Ask It Anyway” series in June. “My goal was to prove to myself that I am the most diverse producer at the time,” the Odd Future artist said. “People were just shitting on it.”
“It made me say, ‘Oh s**t, these songs aren’t good.’ Because of [the backlash], I was like, I need to reteach myself how to write songs,” Tyler admitted. “What is a chorus, hook, structure? That happening to me was one of the greatest things that could happen, because it made me dive into my skill and craft more.”
As mentioned earlier, Tyler has continued to have plenty of luck on the charts. His two previous projects both dropped on Mondays yet still debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. CHROMAKOPIA opened with 299,500 units, while DON’T TAP THE GLASS started with 197,000 album-equivalent units across just four tracking days.
Naomi Osaka beats Coco Gauff to reach US Open quarterfinals

Naomi Osaka eliminated Coco Gauff 6-3, 6-2 in 64 minutes at the US Open on Monday to reach her first Grand Slam quarterfinal in more than 4½ years.
Osaka advances to her fifth major quarterfinal, and first since giving birth to daughter Shai in July 2023. Every time Osaka has made the quarterfinal round of a major, she has gone on to win it, her last Slam coming at the 2021 Australian Open.
"This is kind of unchartered territory at this point of my career," said Osaka, a 27-year-old who was born in Japan and moved to the U.S. with her family at age 3. "I'm just enjoying it. I'm having fun. I'm being able to play against the best players in the world."
The No. 23-seeded Osaka was better throughout than No. 3 Gauff, whose repeated mistakes during a tournament that has been a near-constant struggle for her really made the difference.
Still, Gauff vowed afterward: "I am not going to let this crush me."
Osaka displayed the demeanor, big serve and booming strokes that have carried her to four major championships, all on hard courts. Those titles came at the US Open in 2018 and 2020, and at the Australian Open in 2019 and 2021.
It was at the French Open later in 2021 that Osaka helped spark a global conversation about mental health by revealing she felt anxiety and depression. She then took a series of breaks from the tour.
That most recent trophy at Melbourne Park was the last time Osaka had even made it as far as the fourth round at any Slam event until this match against Gauff, a 21-year-old from Florida who holds two major trophies. The first came at Flushing Meadows in 2023 and the second at the French Open this June.
For Osaka, this marks a return to her best play since she rejoined the tour after a 17-month maternity leave.
"I'm a little sensitive and I don't want to cry, but honestly, I just had so much fun out here," said Osaka, who first played Gauff at the 2019 US Open, also in Arthur Ashe Stadium, and also won that one.
"I was in the stands like two months after I gave birth to my daughter, watching Coco. I just really wanted an opportunity to come out here and play," Osaka told the crowd. "This is my favorite court in the world, and it means so much for me to be back here."
Gauff came out jittery. Her problematic serve was fine; other strokes were the problem. She finished with 33 unforced errors -- far more than Osaka's 12.
Plus, Osaka's serving and returning were terrific. She won 32 of the 38 points she served -- 15 of 16 when first serves landed in -- and never faced a break point. She also converted all four break chances she earned.
"She forced me to earn every point out there today," Gauff acknowledged.
Osaka used her forehand, her best stroke, to go after Gauff's forehand, her worst.
By the end of the first set, Gauff had made 16 unforced errors and Osaka only five. By the end of the match, 20 of Gauff's unforced errors were off the forehand side.
"After the match, I was really disappointed. Kind of broke down to my team," Gauff said. "Then, hearing their perspectives and everything, it definitely is a lot of positive things."
On Wednesday, Osaka will face No. 11 seed Karolina Muchova -- who got past 45-year-old Venus Williams in three sets in the first round of this US Open -- for a berth in the semifinals. Muchova, the 2023 French Open runner-up and a semifinalist in New York the past two years, advanced to the quarterfinals with a 6-3, 6-7 (0), 6-3 victory No. 27 Marta Kostyuk of Ukraine.
Muchova, a 29-year-old from Czechia, became the fourth woman in the Open era to win a three-setter in four straight rounds at Flushing Meadows, joining Lesley Hunt (1978), Sylvia Hanika (1979) and Jelena Ostapenko (2023).
Muchova beat Osaka in the second round last year at the US Open.
"She's always been one of the most talented tennis players out there, and physically she moves really well, and she's very strong," Osaka said. "So it's going to be a really tough challenge."

Wendy Williams Doesn’t Want to Return to TV, New Career Plan Revealed

The former queen of daytime television reportedly isn’t in a rush to return to her beloved purple chair, or at all. Page Six reports Wendy Williams is now focused on being a public advocate for people in similar guardianship situations as she is and not focused on being the queen of hot topics again.
Williams was placed under a court-appointed guardianship in May 2022. Since then, she’s claimed she’s competent enough to manage all aspects of her life, despite reports that she’s been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD) and primary progressive aphasia (PPA).
The former radio personality says it’s all a ploy to control her finances. And her immediate legal team agrees.
In a new interview with Extra, Williams’ power attorney, Joe Tacopina, said Williams has spoken to him about wanting to expose what she deems as an abusive situation. “It’s just so unjust, and quite despicable,” Tacopina said. “What she said to me… more than once, is, ‘Joe, I wish I weren’t in this situation… but if someone is going to be in this situation, better me with a platform, so I can expose the system,’” the lawyer added.
Tacopina added that Williams told him that it’s better that she’s experiencing this “‘than some individual, who is caught in the vortex of a horrific guardian situation, where you can’t get out.’ She said that if it was going to be somebody, she’s happy it’s her, because hopefully it will put an end to what she calls abuse.”
In the lifetime docuseries Where Is Wendy Williams?, her struggles with alcohol were chronicled, which has been a longstanding on-and-off problem that her niece Alex Finney says was exacerbated after her divorce from former husband and manager, Kevin Hunter Sr. Williams filed for divorce after it was revealed he impregnated his longtime mistress.
Their son, Kevin Hunter Sr., said he’d learned from his mother’s doctor that she was suffering from “alcohol-induced dementia,” but that he helped to reverse the impact with a vegan diet, exercise, and sobriety. He says that once she was demanded back to New York under the guardianship, things took a dark turn.
Chris Brown Fans Unable To Enter Atlanta Concert After Tickets ‘Disappeared’ Just Before The Show
Many #ChrisBrown fans in #Atlanta were left disappointed over the weekend due to a technical glitch.
The highly anticipated #BreezyBowl made its stop in Cobb County, and unfortunately, purchasing a ticket wasn’t enough to grant you access inside. Hundreds of concertgoers told local news that after waiting in line for entry, they were turned away because their seats were abruptly voided, with no forewarning.
One CB fan shared that he purchased three VIP floor seats for $1,500 each, but when he got to the gate, “His scanner read error, error, error, and it was in red. The guy said, ‘I’m sorry, but your section doesn’t exist anymore.”
While he was eventually able to get inside after being moved to a different section that wasn’t VIP, many others weren’t as lucky. A woman said, “I didn’t get into the concert that I paid for. I’m going to go back home and hopefully ticket master or whomever makes this right.”
Fans are reportedly now waiting for #Ticketmaster to process their refund requests.
Snoop Dogg Rep Says Rapper's Apology For Homophobic Remarks Is Actually 'Fake'

Despite reports to the contrary, Snoop Dogg apparently has not apologized for homophobic remarks he made last month. A rep for the rapper has claimed the apologetic comments are “fake,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Snoop Dogg, whose real name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., previously said he was “scared to go to the movies” after seeing a same-sex couple with a baby in the film “Lightyear,” which he was watching with his grandson.
“My grandson, in the middle of the movie, is like, ‘Papa Snoop? How she have a baby with a woman? She a woman,’” he said during an appearance on the “It’s Giving” podcast in August. “I didn’t come in for this shit ― I just came to watch the goddamn movie.”
“‘They just said she and she had a baby. They both women. How did she have a baby?’” the rapper continued as he imitated his grandson. “I’m like, scared to go to the movies. Y’all throwing me in the middle of shit that I don’t have an answer for.”
Snoop Dogg said he was “scared to go to the movies” after seeing a same-sex couple with a baby in a film he was watching with his grandson.
A person that appeared to be Snoop Dogg seemingly addressed his remarks concerning the LGBTQ+ community in a comment on an Instagram post from the Hollywood Unlocked account.
“I was just caught off guard and had no answer for my grandsons,” the rapper reportedly wrote. “All my gay friends [know] what’s up they been calling me with love.”
“My bad for not knowing the answers for a 6 yr old,” the comment said. “Teach me how to learn I’m not perfect.”
The Hollywood Reporter said in an article published Sunday that a rep for Snoop Dogg described the comments as “fake” and that they were not written by the rapper.
Sources close to the rapper also told Deadline that the comments, which appeared to be made by Snoop’s verified Instagram account, were not written by anyone on his team either.
“It is a fake,” an anonymous source told the outlet.
Snoop Dogg did not immediately respond to a HuffPost request for additional information.
Dwayne Johnson Looks So Different After Weight Loss Transformation
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is making everyone do fast and furious double takes.
The Moana star's dramatic weight loss transformation for his upcoming film The Smashing Machine was on full display while stepping out at the Miu Miu Women's Tales event on Aug. 30 during the 2025 Venice Film Festival.
Dwayne—who portrays real-life MMA fighter Mark Kerr in the movie—showed off his new slimmed-down figure during the outing by sporting a silk, short-sleeved blue button-down adorned with colorful sketches and straight-leg black trousers. In a video captured from the occasion and shared to X Aug. 31, the 53-year-old looked so different as he tucked his hands into his pockets and smiled for the cameras.
Following the unveiling, many fans were impressed with his head-turning new appearance. As one user wrote on X, "Yep had to do a double take."
Others noted how much his body has changed with light-hearted quips about his stage name.
"The rock became the pebble," another user said, while a third added that he's "turning into The Pebble."
And more than a few expressed their excitement over seeing his transformation on screen in The Smashing Machine, which was directed by Benny Safdie and also stars Emily Blunt.
"The Smashing Machine is really setting the bar high," one user said. "An unrecognizable Dwayne Johnson looks to give the best performance of his career."
Indeed, Dwayne was equally thrilled to show off his new appearance, which in addition to losing weight, included him applying over a dozen prosthetics and sitting in a makeup chair for up to four hours per day.
“This transformation was something I was really hungry to do," the former wrestler said during a Sept. 1 press conference for the film, per The Hollywood Reporter. “I had been very fortunate to have the career that I’ve had over the years and to make the films that I’ve made, but there was just a voice inside of me, a little voice that said, ‘Well, what if I could do more—I want to do more and what does that look like?'”

Zendaya’s secret wedding plans finally exposed by stylist Law Roach
The entertainment world’s most closely guarded secret is slowly unraveling as Zendaya’s trusted stylist continues dropping tantalizing hints about the Euphoria star’s highly anticipated wedding to Spider-Man co-star Tom Holland. Law Roach, the fashion mastermind behind some of Hollywood’s most memorable red carpet moments, has become an unexpected source of wedding intel that has fans dissecting his every public comment.
The couple’s engagement journey began capturing public attention when sharp-eyed observers spotted a stunning diamond ring adorning Zendaya’s finger during January’s Golden Globes ceremony. While neither the 29-year-old actress nor her equally young fiancé have officially confirmed their engagement status, those within their inner circle have quietly acknowledged the romantic milestone that has been months in the making.
Law Roach, the 47-year-old styling genius who has transformed Zendaya into a fashion icon, finds himself in the unique position of being one of the few people authorized to discuss the couple’s future plans. His carefully measured comments reveal a wedding timeline that prioritizes career commitments over rushing down the aisle, suggesting a level-headed approach that reflects both stars’ professional dedication.
During an April interview with E! News, Roach definitively squashed speculation about any 2025 wedding celebrations, emphasizing that the ceremony remains far in the future. His reasoning centers on the couple’s packed professional schedules, with both actors committed to major film projects throughout this year and promotional obligations extending well into next year’s calendar.
The veteran stylist, who earned recognition as a Project Runway judge, confirmed his inevitable involvement in creating Zendaya’s wedding dress while simultaneously managing expectations about timing. His admission that he’s currently resting up for next year’s responsibilities hints at a potential 2026 ceremony, though even that timeline appears tentative given their demanding careers.
Roach’s subsequent comments at July’s Las Culturistas Culture Awards provided additional insight into the couple’s unhurried approach to wedding planning. His revelation that the preparation process hasn’t even begun underscores their commitment to allowing natural timing rather than external pressure to dictate their celebration schedule.
The stylist’s emphasis on having plenty of time reflects a mature perspective that prioritizes relationship stability over public expectations. This measured approach aligns perfectly with both stars’ documented preference for maintaining privacy around their personal lives, even as their professional careers demand constant public attention.
Zendaya’s current involvement in numerous film projects, including highly anticipated Dune sequels, demonstrates the complex scheduling challenges facing celebrity couples attempting to coordinate wedding planning with blockbuster movie commitments. These professional obligations create natural delays that actually benefit couples seeking meaningful celebrations rather than rushed ceremonies.
The couple’s determination to maintain relationship privacy extends naturally to their wedding planning philosophy, with Roach confirming that fans shouldn’t expect traditional celebrity wedding coverage. His prediction that there won’t be glossy magazine spreads or extensive wedding photography reflects a deliberate choice to prioritize personal intimacy over public spectacle.
This privacy-focused approach means that even Law Roach’s stunning wedding dress creation may never receive the widespread visibility that typically accompanies celebrity bridal fashion. The stylist expressed confidence that invited guests will respect the couple’s boundaries, ensuring that their celebration remains genuinely personal rather than becoming another entertainment industry event.
The decision to forgo traditional celebrity wedding publicity represents a significant departure from Hollywood norms, where high-profile ceremonies often become elaborate productions designed for maximum media coverage. Zendaya and Tom’s choice suggests a refreshing priority on authentic celebration over commercial opportunities.
Despite their privacy preferences, the couple’s extensive professional and personal networks suggest an impressive potential guest list featuring some of entertainment’s most recognizable faces. Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya’s Dune co-star, appears virtually guaranteed an invitation based on their well-documented friendship that has evolved into a sibling-like bond.
The 29-year-old actor has publicly described Zendaya as a sister figure, expressing gratitude for their partnership that extends beyond professional collaboration into genuine personal connection. Their chemistry in the Dune franchise translated into real friendship that makes his wedding attendance almost certain.
Additional potential guests include Bella Thorne from Zendaya’s Disney Channel days and Hunter Schafer from her Euphoria experience, representing different eras of her career journey. Jacob Batalon, Tom’s close friend from their Spider-Man collaborations, would likely receive an invitation based on his reported best friend status with the groom.
Storm Reid, who portrays Zendaya’s on-screen sister in Euphoria, has already expressed enthusiastic interest in participating as a flower girl, demonstrating the genuine affection that exists between cast members. Even musician Benson Boone has publicly indicated his willingness to perform at their ceremony, showcasing the couple’s broad appeal across entertainment industries.
As speculation continues building around this highly anticipated celebration, one thing remains certain: when Zendaya and Tom Holland finally exchange vows, their wedding will reflect the same thoughtful, private approach that has characterized their entire relationship journey.
Chicago Mayor defies federal authority with new order for Police
Chicago’s political landscape shifted dramatically as Mayor Brandon Johnson wielded executive power to block potential federal military intervention in the city. The sweeping directive represents a calculated response to former President Donald Trump’s announced intentions to deploy National Guard forces and federal law enforcement personnel across Illinois as part of his expanded crime reduction initiative.
The mayor’s comprehensive executive action establishes clear boundaries around federal involvement in local law enforcement operations. Johnson emphasized the critical nature of protecting Chicago residents from what city officials characterize as unprecedented federal overreach. The administration has committed to exhausting all legal remedies available through the court system to prevent the implementation of Trump’s military deployment strategy.
City attorneys received explicit instructions to pursue every possible legal challenge, signaling an aggressive approach to defending municipal autonomy. The executive order reflects Johnson’s unwavering determination to preserve Chicago’s independent governance structure while maintaining community trust in local institutions.
The directive establishes strict limitations on Chicago Police Department cooperation with federal military personnel. Local officers will not participate in joint patrols with military forces or assist in civil immigration enforcement operations. Johnson clarified that hardworking police officers, who focus daily on reducing crime rates, will not be deputized for federal traffic enforcement or checkpoint duties.
This policy decision aims to prevent the militarization of community policing while preserving the relationship between residents and local law enforcement. The mayor’s stance reflects broader concerns about maintaining public safety through community-based approaches rather than heavy-handed federal tactics.
Trump’s administration has already implemented federal troop deployments in Washington, D.C., while threatening similar actions in major metropolitan areas including Baltimore. More than a dozen Democratic governors issued a joint statement condemning these federal actions, arguing that deploying National Guard units without state consent constitutes a dangerous abuse of executive power.
The governors’ coalition emphasized that such federal interference undermines military service members’ primary mission and must cease immediately. Johnson’s executive order positions Chicago within this broader resistance movement against unilateral federal military deployment.
Johnson revealed that city officials have received credible intelligence suggesting militarized federal activity could begin within days rather than weeks. These reports have heightened concerns about potential implications for community safety and civil liberties protection throughout Chicago neighborhoods.
The mayor’s proactive approach aims to establish legal and procedural barriers before federal forces arrive, potentially preventing the escalation of tensions between federal authorities and local communities. This intelligence-driven response demonstrates the administration’s commitment to protecting residents from potentially harmful military intervention.
White House officials criticized Johnson’s executive order, suggesting the mayor suffers from what they termed Trump derangement syndrome. Federal spokespersons accused Democratic leaders of prioritizing political theater over addressing urban crime challenges, highlighting the partisan divide surrounding federal intervention in local law enforcement.
Trump’s administration has indicated plans to prioritize enforcement actions in sanctuary cities, raising significant concerns about the deterioration of trust between local communities and federal authorities. This targeting approach threatens the cooperative relationship essential for effective law enforcement in diverse urban environments.
Johnson’s executive order establishes Chicago as a focal point in the national debate over federal versus local authority in law enforcement matters. The mayor’s commitment to utilizing every available legal mechanism to protect residents underscores the importance of community trust and collaborative public safety approaches.
As this situation continues developing, local leaders must navigate the complex relationship between federal involvement and municipal governance while ensuring community needs and constitutional rights remain the primary focus. The outcome of Chicago’s resistance could influence similar efforts in cities across the nation facing comparable federal pressure.
Chloë Grace Moretz Marries Kate Harrison in Private Wedding Ceremony

Chloë Grace Moretz is officially a Mrs. The Kick-Ass actress married Kate Harrison in a private ceremony over Labor Day Weekend following seven years together, the couple confirmed to Vogue Sept. 1.
And while photos of their nuptials have yet to be revealed, Chloë and Kate—who confirmed their engagement back in January—did provide glimpses at their gorgeous custom Louis Vuitton looks designed by Nicolas Ghesquière leading up to the big day.
“When we got engaged, I knew immediately that I wanted to reach out to Nicolas and Louis Vuitton [to] see if he would be interested in making my wedding dress," Chloë told Vogue in a video published Sept. 1, "and got a very overwhelmingly excited response from Nicolas that not only would he be willing to make my wedding dress but he also wanted to include Kate in that—and to make both of [the] wedding dresses and our after-party looks."
And the results went above and beyond her expectations. To head down the aisle, Chloë, 28, opted for an "old Hollywood-inspired" baby blue wedding dress that featured ruffle detailing and spaghetti straps.
"It looks like ice cream or something," the actress said of the unique color choice. "Like a confection!"
As for Kate, the model kept it classic with a strapless fitted white gown with floral stitching for the ceremony, and a floor-length see-through white tunic and matching trousers for the after-party. The 34-year-old finished off her ethereal looks by donning a mesh veil that fell just below her eyes.
"It's perfect," she said of her after-party ensemble. "I've always loved sheer overlays, so when I mentioned that initially for Nicolas, he was like, 'I'll do it for your after-party look.'"
Of course, their outfits were just one of the many ways in which the couple celebrated what they love most in the world. In fact, Chloë revealed that all of the decor for the two-day affair paid tribute to their favorite pastimes.
“A big part of the wedding is [about] sharing things that Kate and I love with everyone that’s going to be there,” she explained. “So there’s fishing, horseback riding and poker. Kate made a custom poker mat herself, so we’re going to kind of be leaning into it. Our second day is going to be line dancing and everything.”
She added, "We’ve been together for almost seven years and making this promise to each other in a new way, and exchanging these vows—I think it’s important to just stay every day choosing each other."
August Alsina's Boyfriend Addresses Rumor He Was Underage When They Began Dating
The partner of August Alsina is addressing rumors that the singer groomed him, denying the age difference between them is inappropriate and asserting that they have a loving relationship.
Alsina’s boyfriend, Zu, made a statement via X on Monday (Sept. 1), saying it would be the “first and only time” he would address concerns about their partnership. Alsina is 32, and Zu is reportedly 22.
"I met August when I was already of age, an adult,” Zu wrote. “Aug didn’t even know me when I was 16 or 17...not sure where that came from.. yea there’s a slight age difference but y’all pick and chooses who to judge when it comes to that."
Questions mounted over Zu’s age after Alsina posted photos of their club appearance in Atlanta and said they had known each other for five years.
In his statement, Zu said that he and the "No Love (Remix)" artist will have known each other for five years by the end of this year. In another tweet, Zu explicitly stated that he “wasn’t groomed” and isn’t “dating a predator.”
In a series of tweets, Alsina criticized the rumors of him grooming Zu and said that the younger partner “lied” about his age when they first met.
“Granted, he was over 18,” Alsina wrote. “But the fact still remains. & I found out later, upon meeting the family. BUT this is information that would require me throwing my [n***a] under the bus, and involving mf’s in our story, who ain’t worthy… just to appease their own trauma.”
Exactly! & the even crazier part is that Zu lied to me about how old he was when we first clicked up. Granted, he was over 18… but the fact still remains. & I found out later, upon meeting the family. BUT this is information that would require me throwing my nigxa under the bus,
the same general public has spent the last 48 hours begging them for soft porn. Imma leave that where it is. Either way, it was extremely harmful to throw out such names at August because he rounded up how long they’ve known each other.
Alsina publicly announced his relationship in 2022 on The Surreal Life, saying Zu was “teaching [him] so much about loving and healing.”
Zu said him not being an “internet person” and infrequently engaging on social media could have led to speculation over their age difference.
“August is my boyfriend, and we’re happy with each other, simple…” Zu wrote. "But I can see how being quiet, and trying to protect something of value to you, can allow some people to spin the narrative and create a bunch of different scenarios which aren’t true. Aug gives me a GREAT life, & I’m thankful."
US Open: Polish Businessman Who Stole Kid's Hat Says He 'Made A Grave Mistake'

The US Open has been rife with storylines this year, and one in particular that's been making a lot of headlines involves a Polish businessman who swiped a hat from a child.
On Thursday (August 28), Polish tennis star Kamil Majchrzak greeted fans and signed autographs after defeating the No. 9 seed Karen Khachanov. When Majchrazk removed his hat to hand it to a young boy in the stands, a man standing next to the child grabbed the hat and stuffed it into a nearby woman’s bag.
After it was confirmed the man in question was Polish businessman Piotr Szczerek, the CEO of paving company Drogbruk, the millionaire faced a sea of backlash.
Szczerek has now issued an apology, explaining that he made a "grave mistake" and thought the tennis star was giving him the hat after his sons had asked for autographs earlier in the day.
"I would like to offer my sincere apology to the injured boy, his family, all the fans, and the player himself," Szczerek said in a Facebook post (translated from Polish). "I made a grave mistake. In the midst of the excitement and celebration after my victory, I was convinced the tennis player was handing his cap to me — for my sons, who had previously asked for autographs. This mistaken belief caused me to instinctively reach out."
He continued: "Today, I know that I did something that seemed like deliberately taking a souvenir from a child. It wasn't my intention, but that doesn't change the fact that I hurt the boy and disappointed the fans. The cap was given to the boy, and an apology to the family. I hope that I have at least partially repaired the harm caused."
Reports following the original news claimed that Szczerek initially defended his actions, allegedly stating: "The recent incident at the tennis match has caused a disproportionate online uproar. It’s all about the famous hat, of course. Yes, I took it. Yes, I did it quickly. But as I’ve always said, life is first come, first served. In the end, chin up, hats off, less venom, more sportsmanship."
However, in Szczerek's latest Facebook statement, he claimed these reports are not true.
"I also want to make it clear: neither I, my wife, nor my sons commented on this situation on social media or on any website," he wrote. "We did not use the services of any law firm in this regard. All alleged statements appearing online are not ours."
He added that he and his wife have been "involved in helping children and young athletes" for years but that the US Open incident has shown him "that one moment of inattention can undo years of work and support.
"This is a painful but necessary lesson in humility," he said. "Therefore, I will be even more actively involved in initiatives supporting children and young people and in actions against violence and hate. I believe that only through actions can I rebuild lost trust. I apologize again to everyone I have disappointed."
After the hat-snatching incident, tennis star Majchrazk sought out the child to make things right.
In an Instagram post, Majchrzak shared a clip of himself talking with the boy, along with a photo of them standing side-by-side. "Hello World, Together with Brock we wish you a great day!" the tennis star wrote.
Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson Says He's 'Sick of Being Quiet' About Son Raja's Attack on Syko Stu: 'I'm a Father 1st'

Quinton "Rampage" Jackson spoke out again in defense of his son Raja regarding the Aug. 23 attack on wrestler Stuart Smith
Jackson said he is "sick of being quiet and letting all the low IQ people fall for clickbait" regarding his son's part in the attack, which left Smith unconscious
Jackson said Smith, a veteran suffering from PTSD, is "lucky" he wasn't there "when he hit my son over the head"
Former UFC star Quinton "Rampage" Jackson says the backlash against his son Raja "has gone too far" in a new statement addressing Raja's attack on wrestler Stuart "Syko Stu" Smith.
Jackson, 47, took to Instagram with a lengthy message in defense of his 25-year-old son Raja — who fans are calling for legal action against after he brutally attacked Smith, 39, in an independent wrestling event on Aug. 23 — alongside a screenshot of a news post reporting that Raja had been booked for an event "despite brutal attack on Syko Stu."
The former UFC star said he's "sick of being quiet and letting all the low IQ people fall for clickbait" in the post on Monday, Sept. 1.
"Yes my son took things too far, and I’m pissed at him for being a POS and the way he handled it," Quinton continued, "But if psycho Stu wasn’t drunk and wouldn’t have hit my son over the head with a (real beer can) while he was live streaming on his own stream then Knox wouldn’t have felt like they had to make things right by letting Raja get his 'get back' in the ring!
Jackson said if his son "would've just went to the police when the beer can incident happened" they could have had "the whole event" shut down "and he could've sued" Smith.
"But no my son is not as smart as I’d liked for him to be," he continued, revealing that his family is now receiving "racist threats because of all the misinformation being posted so content creators can get paid from viewers!"
He complained that "people actually think my son just snuck in a ring" and fought Smith "without permission to be there," telling readers to "get smart" in the post.
Jackson then claimed that the event was "staged" but Raja "took it too far," adding, "He only shook his hand and accepted psycho Stu’s drunken apology because they said he could get in the storyline!"
According to the former UFC star, his son "was told he could 'f--- him up,'" and continued, "i have witnesses that says this isn’t the 1st time that psycho Stu had done some drunk s--- back stage [sic] to a fan!"
Jackson went on to defend his son against claims that he "attacked an innocent military vet with PTSD," as fans pointed out that Stuart has spoken publicly about how wrestling helped him overcome his trauma from the military, and added, "like my son knew everything about the man that came up from behind him and hit him then asked him to sell it!"
"I have other kids to protect, and i don’t take kindly to threats," Jackson continued, adding that he's "not scared of prison" or "dying for" his kids.
"And calling me names won’t hurt my feelings! My son should face the consequences for going too far, he knows better! That’s why he didn’t tell me anything about the story line," Jackson said.
He went on to say that Smith is "lucky" he wasn't there "when he hit my son over the head with a beer can the day after he got a concussion from sparring the day before," in his lengthy post
"I wouldn’t have cared if a bunch of pro wrestlers would’ve jumped me.. I’m a father 1st. Play stupid games win stupid prizes," he added. "Let’s all learn a lesson, keep your damn hands to yourself. If you get paid to do fake fighting don’t disrespect people that do the shit for real! Now i put myself in this shit! Dm me now!"
In the disturbing footage, Raja was seen entering the ring and picking up Smith above his head before slamming him hard on the mat. He then appeared to punch Smith in the head multiple times as he lay motionless on the ground. Raja was eventually held back by a group of other wrestlers in the ring.
On Sunday, Aug. 24, Smith's brother said he was "currently stable but in critical care" after the incident.
Fugees Rapper Pras Undergoes Emergency Colon Cancer Surgery, Sentencing Delayed to October

Pras Michel, beloved member of the Fugees, is recovering from emergency colon cancer surgery, delaying his scheduled sentencing in a high-profile federal case.
The sentencing, originally set for last month, was postponed after the rapper required urgent surgery to remove cancer from his colon. Erica Dumas, a spokesperson for Michel’s legal team, confirmed the news in a statement exclusively shared with Complex.
“Pras was unable to attend his scheduled sentencing hearing on Friday due to emergency medical surgery to remove cancer from his colon,” said Dumas. “We wish him a complete and speedy recovery as he navigates both his legal matters and his health journey.”
Michel’s cancer diagnosis had not been publicly disclosed prior to this update. A new sentencing date has been tentatively set for October 3rd, just before his 53rd birthday. However, further delays are possible if his condition worsens.
In April 2023, Michel was convicted on 10 federal charges tied to an international conspiracy involving foreign political donations and alleged lobbying efforts. The charges stem from accusations that Michel helped illegally funnel $865,000 into Barack Obama’s 2012 presidential campaign and later worked to influence the Trump administration to drop investigations related to Malaysian financier Jho Low.
Michel faces up to 20 years in prison but remains free on bond pending an appeal. His legal team has raised concerns about the competency of his previous defense counsel, citing the use of artificial intelligence in preparing closing arguments as part of their appeal strategy.

Former NY Knicks "Mr. Linsanity" Jeremy Lin Announces His Retirement from Basketball

Jeremy Lin’s basketball story began with a surge that gripped the sport and forever altered the New York Knicks’ narrative.
On Saturday, Lin officially announced his retirement, closing a 15-year professional career that carried him from Madison Square Garden’s brightest lights to international leagues in China and Taiwan.
The 36-year-old guard shared the news on Instagram, reflecting on the weight of the decision. “As athletes, we are always aware that the possibility of retirement is never far away,” Lin wrote. “Actually saying goodbye to basketball today has been the hardest decision I’ve ever made.” He thanked fans, teammates, and loved ones, acknowledging their support as the force behind his improbable rise.
Lin’s path was as unlikely as it was transformative. An undrafted Harvard guard and the son of Taiwanese immigrants, he spent his early years bouncing between rosters with the Golden State Warriors and Houston Rockets. By early 2012, he seemed destined to drift out of the league—until a desperate Knicks team gave him a chance.
Inserted into the rotation, Lin erupted in February of that year. He scored 25 against the New Jersey Nets, followed by 28 against the Utah Jazz and 23 with 10 assists against the Washington Wizards. Suddenly, the Knicks had a sensation, and the basketball world had “Linsanity.”
The phenomenon reached its peak against Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers. Under the glare of Madison Square Garden, Lin scored a career-best 38 points, sending the crowd into frenzy and turning him into the face of the NBA’s first true social media-era craze.
The magic faded quickly. Carmelo Anthony’s return shifted the offense, a coaching change minimized Lin’s role, and a knee injury halted his breakout. He never replicated that stretch, but Lin forged a respectable career across eight NBA teams. In 2019, he became the first Asian American player to win an NBA championship, lifting the trophy with the Toronto Raptors.
Lin later found success overseas, starring in China and Taiwan. His final season ended with MVP honors and a championship for the New Taipei Kings.
Though his playing days are done, “Linsanity” remains unforgettable. Jeremy Lin’s story endures as one of resilience, representation, and cultural impact—a moment when the Knicks, and basketball, belonged to him.
