#RHOA: Charles Oakley Says He Straightened Shaquille O’Neal Out With His Boys
Only a few players in NBA history who struck fear into their opponents. On the basketball court, Shaquille O’Neal would make his opponent’s night a living nightmare. However, that doesn’t necessarily mean he was the toughest player in the league. Charles Oakley had him beat in that regard. The New York Knicks legend even went as far as straightening out O’Neal himself, with the help of some friends.

Oakley can put up with people being better than him at basketball. However, one thing he won’t put up with is disrespect. It didn’t matter who the person was; anyone who had disrespected Oaklay received the appropriate treatment.
Even though O’Neal stood at 7-foot-1 and 325 pounds, Oakley didn’t see Shaq as much of a tough guy.
“I never took Shaq as a tough guy. I think they’re more tougher now on TV than they play,” Oakley said on The Art of Dialogue

Those are strong words from Oakley, but he meant every letter. The sentiment behind his comments comes from a certain incident he had involving O’Neal. Many years later, he remembers the details quite vividly.

“Shaq is all right. You know, we had a couple of run-ins. I mean, we straightened them out,” Oakley started narrating. “Me and MJ were together,” he said. “I seen [Shaq] and I walked up to him like, ‘You’ve been disrespecting. You know that was some BS you did.’ He said, ‘Nah, unc.'”
At that point, it was Michael Jordan who diffused the situation. “MJ went in. ‘Oh, what’s he doing, man?’ I said, ‘he crossed the line, man. He know what he did.’… So MJ pulled me away,” Oakley recalled.

Oakley didn’t go into depth regarding the details of the incident. Oakley insinuated that O’Neal disrespected him in what was “sneaky” behavior. Nevertheless, from his attitude, it’s clear it was serious enough that he took matters into his own hands.
“So I saw him in Chicago, and I was with my boys. I approached him. You can play with people who’ll let you get away with it, but I’m not letting you get away with it,” Oakley proclaimed.

What exactly happened in that encounter? Well, that remains a secret. The important information is that Oakley and his crew made sure O’Neal understood not to get on their bad side again.
Many people knew Oakley for his reputation as an enforcer on the court. However, from this story, it’s evident that the title applies off the court as well.

#MusicNews: Teddy Riley Introduces Guy 2.0, A New Iteration Of His Legendary Group With A New Lineup

Legendary producer/singer/songwriter Teddy Riley has made the stunning announcement that he has created a new version of his legendary group Guy.
The group will now be known as Guy 2.0. The revamped lineup includes Fred “Ljai” Robinson (who was previously part of the group Profyle), J Stylz (who was part of BS2), and Ray Lavender (R&B artist previously signed to Geffen).

Notably, the group does not include former members Aaron Hall and Damion Hall.
This is a similar situation to a decade ago when Teddy Riley unveiled his new version of Blackstreet as BS2 with a revamped lineup as well.

We don’t know much more about what to expect just yet, but it appears the group has already performed limited shows. We will just have to wait and see if new music is to follow as well.
Although the original group Guy has performed shows in recent years (including as part of a tour with New Edition), it’s unclear what prompted this drastic change. There has not been a new album from Guy since “Guy III” in 2000.

#HipHopNews: Rod Wave Arrested On Drug & Weapon Charges Just After Grammy Nod Announcement
Rod Wave has had similar run-ins with the law in the past, with the last arrest occurring earlier in the year
Rod Wave has found himself back in hot water after he was arrested on Friday (November 8) in the state of Georgia, and it is the second such occurrence for the popular rapper. According to still-developing details, Rod Wave was arrested and reportedly has already posted bond while battling this latest legal hurdle.

TMZ obtained exclusive details related to the arrest of Rod Wave. Wave, real name Rodarius Green, was arrested by Atlanta Police Department officers in Fulton County, Georgia, on possession of a firearm or knife during the commission of or attempt to commit certain felonies, reckless driving, possession of a Schedule V controlled substance, and possession of a Schedule II controlled substance charges.

The outlet added in its reporting that, after speaking with Wave’s attorney, Drew Findling, it was learned that the 27-year-old star appeared before a judge to hear charges and reached an agreement to post a $8,000 bond. A future court date in the matter was not shared in the report.

In an update, Findling added via a statement to the outlet, writing that his client “was unjustly profiled and unlawfully arrested in Atlanta. The arresting officer belongs to the Atlanta Police Department’s controversial Crime Suppression Unit — a group known for its aggressive tactics and emphasis on high arrest numbers rather than genuine public safety.”

On the day of his arrest, Wave was announced as a Grammy Awards nominee in the Best Song Written for Visual Media category for the track “Sinners” for the soundtrack for the film of the same name.

Rod Wave was arrested this past May on firearm and drug charges.

The original series director Debbie Allen, who served as producer for 122 episodes and directed 83 of the original run, is returning. Gina Prince-Bythewood, the award-winning director of “Love & Basketball” and “The Woman King,” will executive produce. Barack Obama Boards Veteran-Filled Aircraft And Thanks Each Passenger For Their Service
Former President Barack Obama made a surprise appearance, speaking to dozens of Korean and Vietnam War vets after their plane arrived in Washington, DC on Saturday (Nov 8).
Moments after an Honor Flight, flying in from Madison, Wisconsin, landed at the nation’s capital, Obama’s voice could be heard on the loud speaker.

In a social media video, veterans’ faces can be seen, stunned after hearing the familiar voice.
“Hello, everybody,” his voiced boomed over the speaker.
“What!” exclaimed one person. Another veteran gasped, his mouth wide open.
“I just wanted to say thank you,” the former president continued in a moment captured on video.

Obama shook hands with them as they exited the aircraft and presented them with a Presidential Challenge Coin, a token to express his personal gratitude for their sacrifices.

“Ahead of Veterans Day, I was honored to welcome a flight of veterans and their families as they arrived in D.C.,” Obama said in a statement.  “To all those who bravely served our country, thank you to you and your family for your extraordinary service. The sacrifices that all of you made to protect our country will be honored, today and every day.”

Seventy-nine veterans and their families made the trip.
“When you come to greet our Honor Flight Veterans at DCA, you never know who might be there. On Saturday, our Veterans from Badger Honor Flight were surprised when Barack Obama showed up to greet them when they arrived at DCA,” said a post on the Honor Flight Facebook page on Saturday. “He boarded the plane after it landed and addressed the group, then shook every hand and presented each with a presidential challenge coin!”

What is an Honor Flight?
Honor Flight DCA is a volunteer organization that flies veterans to Washington from over 100 hubs across the U.S. The organization brings the veterans to D.C. to visit the memorials for the wars they fought in, free of charge.

Tyrese & Mona Scott-Young Brought Love & Supplies to Jamaica After Hurricane Devastation

Tyrese Gibson brought heart and purpose to the tarmac in Jamaica as he arrived with TV powerhouse Mona Scott-Young to deliver relief to communities devastated by the recent hurricane. The R&B singer and Fast & Furious star joined forces with the Love & Hip Hop creator to personally hand out supplies to residents struggling to rebuild.

Landing on the island Monday, Gibson and Scott-Young shared videos on social media showing private jets packed not with luxury goods, but essential relief items. The duo made it clear their mission was rooted in compassion, not celebrity.

“This is not a private jet just for the private jet of it all. This is a humanitarian mission,” Scott-Young said. “We were able to do what we could in a short time. Y’all know I’m empowered and so my thing will be providing power and I brought a lot of Starlink with me and I’m looking forward to you guys helping me to get as many Starlinks to Jamaica so people can speak to their families.”

Starlink is a satellite internet service provided by SpaceX that provides high-speed internet access globally, especially in rural and remote areas.
Scott-Young, who has long expressed her love for the Caribbean, paused to appreciate the nation’s beauty despite the destruction. “It’s beautiful out here, as beautiful as I remember it. Y’all know I love Jamaica,” she added.

Tyrese echoed that energy, beaming as he stepped off the jet. “Jamaica, we here baby,” he said. “We loading up. I’ve always wanted to do this. We know there’s a lot of trauma and we’re not only here to give but to give with all of this love attached.”
On Instagram, Gibson reflected on the strength he witnessed on the ground, writing, “The resilience of the Jamaican people on full display…”

Both stars are part of a growing wave of global figures stepping up to support Jamaica in its time of need. Rihanna’s Clara Lionel Foundation, Nicki Minaj, Denzel Washington, DJ Khaled and numerous others have also contributed aid and resources following the deadly storm.

Tyrese encouraged his followers to donate to Roww.Org, an organization founded by his late friend Paul Walker.

Michael Jackson Becomes First Artist With Top 10 Hits in Six Decades as ‘Thriller’ Re-Enters Hot 100
Michael Jackson is back in the Billboard Hot 100 top 10 as “Thriller” lifts to No. 10 following the 2025 Halloween season.
The posthumous milestone cements Jackson’s musical legacy: the 1982 classic amassed 14 million streams and a radio airplay audience of 9.3 million, according to Luminate. Rising from No. 32, (its highest peak was No. 4 in 1982) “Thriller” makes Jackson the first artist ever to achieve top 10 hits in six different decades: the 1970s, ’80s, ’90s, 2000s, ’10s and now the ’20s. In doing so, he surpasses Andy Williams, who, until his death in 2012, held top 10 placements across five decades.

This resurgence follows the release of the trailer for the Antoine Fuqua-directed biopic “Michael,” set for theaters on April 24, 2026. The film promises: “‘Michael’ explores the global superstar’s journey to becoming the King of Pop, offering an intimate look at the life and enduring legacy of one of the most influential and trailblazing artists the world has ever known.”
Jackson first entered the Hot 100 top 10 as a solo artist in November 1971 with “Got to Be There.” Over his career, he has amassed 30 top 10 hits, including 13 No. 1s. Until this week, his last top 10 appearance was posthumously as a feature on Drake’s “Don’t Matter to Me” in 2018.

Meanwhile, Taylor Swift continues her Billboard dominance, holding No. 1 with “The Fate of Ophelia” for a fifth consecutive week, while her album “The Life of a Showgirl” simultaneously maintains the Billboard 200 top spot for a fifth week.
The single drew 27.4 million official streams, 59.2 million radio airplay audience impressions, and 29,000 in sales. Swift continued to propel the track’s momentum with a “Loud Luxury” remix (released Nov. 6) and the “Alone in My Tower Acoustic Version” (released digitally Oct. 28; streaming availability Oct. 31).

Zendaya Allegedly Refusing To Stand Next To “Euphoria” Co-Star Sydney Sweeney For 3rd Season Press Run,
Zendaya appears to be drawing a line in the sand when it comes to her relationship with #SydneySweeney.
According to insiders who spoke with the Daily Mail, the actress is “refusing” to share stage space with her #Euphoria co-star during the press tour for season 3. One source explained, “It’s a difficult position for #Zendaya to be in because if she even stands next to Sydney on the red carpet, it can be read as her excusing Sydney’s views on Trump and her refusal to apologise for the racist ad.”

The tension reportedly stems from Sweeney’s involvement in a controversial #AmericanEagle jeans ad, one critics labeled a promotion of eugenics, as well as her support for #DonaldTrump. Things allegedly worsened when Sweeney doubled down on the ad in a recent #GQ interview, saying, “When I have an issue I want to speak about, people will hear.”

The superstar, known for making rare public appearances these days, was spotted in the crowd vibing as the two icons performed their classic hits. The co-headlining tour, inspired by their chart-topping 1998 duet “The Boy Is Mine.”

Diddy Has Been Hired To Work In Prison Chapel While Serving Sentence On Prostitution Charges

Sean “Diddy” Combs has landed one of the most desirable positions an inmate can hold at Fort Dix Federal Correctional Institution — serving as a chaplain’s assistant in the prison chapel.
According to documents obtained by CBS News, Combs will now work in an air-conditioned, private office with possible access to food brought in from outside the prison by chaplains.

The position, often considered one of the most coveted by inmates, also comes with a unique privilege: the ability to add inmates’ names to the facility’s “call-out” list.
That list determines who is permitted to leave their cells for religious services, medical appointments, or other sanctioned activities — a power that gives the chapel staff a degree of influence rare within prison walls.

Combs’ publicist, Juda Engelmayer, told CBS News, “He works in the chapel library, where he describes the environment as warm, respectful, and rewarding.”
The chapel itself is one of the few spaces in the prison where inmates can congregate freely, and the job is viewed as both comfortable and prestigious compared to standard labor assignments.

The 56-year-old music mogul was transferred to Fort Dix on Oct. 30 after being sentenced to more than four years on prostitution-related charges. His appointment to the chapel role comes amid ongoing scrutiny of his behavior since his arrival.
Prison records allege Combs recently broke multiple rules, including making an unauthorized phone call in which he reportedly asked a woman — whom he identified as his attorney — to bring him $200 in single dollar bills to the prison. Inmates can only buy items from convenience machines using coins. It’s unclear in what manner Combs planned to use the money requested.

Officials say he also participated in a three-way call with another man described as his “head of legal communications,” a violation of prison policy.
Engelmayer defended the communication, saying, “It was a procedural call initiated by one of his attorneys and was protected under attorney client privilege. There was nothing improper.”

Wendy Williams’ neurologist says she doesn’t have frontotemporal dementia
A new medical report found no evidence of frontotemporal dementia in Wendy Williams.
Experts say FTD is a progressive disease, making the reversal unusual and medically significant.
Williams’ legal team plans to challenge the guardianship in court, possibly with a jury trial.

Wendy Williams’ health and legal battles are taking another dramatic turn. According to TMZ, a top neurologist has confirmed that the talk show icon does not have frontotemporal dementia — the same condition a judge used to justify placing her under a court-ordered guardianship more than three years ago.

The outlet reported that Williams recently underwent a series of neurological tests in New York City. The results, shared with her legal team late last month, found no evidence of FTD, a group of brain disorders that primarily affect the frontal and temporal lobes, which control behavior, language, and decision-making.

This new diagnosis directly conflicts with an earlier medical report cited by her guardian, which claimed she had been diagnosed with the disease. Experts told TMZ that FTD is a degenerative condition that does not improve over time. Still, Williams has shown “remarkable neurological resilience” since becoming sober three years ago, despite remaining under strict guardianship.

The 61-year-old’s legal team reportedly plans to file paperwork within the next two weeks requesting a hearing to terminate the arrangement. If the judge refuses, her attorney, Joe Tacopina, is expected to demand a jury trial and ask jurors to “free Wendy,” according to the outlet.

Wendy Williams opens up about her conservatorship
As previously reported, at the beginning of the year, Williams spoke with “The Breakfast Club” in her first interview since the release of her Lifetime documentary, Where Is Wendy Williams? During the phone call, she described feeling trapped in her living facility. “I am not cognitively impaired. But I feel like I am in prison,” she said at the time. “I’m in this place where the people are in their 90s and their 80s and their 70s.”

Joined by her niece, Alex, Williams detailed the strict conditions of her conservatorship, saying she’s been isolated, denied visitors, and unable to make her own financial decisions. “At 94, the day after that is not promised,” she said tearfully of her father, expressing fear that her guardian may prevent her from visiting him.

Rob Dyrdek Breaks Silence on 'Ridiculousness' Cancellation After 46 Seasons

Rob Dyrdek is speaking out following the cancellation of his MTV series Ridiculousness, which ran for 46 seasons.
The show will continue to air new episodes into 2026, but no more episodes are going to be produced. Just one day before the cancellation, it was reported that Rob had been making at least $32.5 million a year from MTV.

Rob, 51, took to social media to share a video message with fans to address the news.
“I just want to say thank you to every single person who ever watched any of my shows. 19 years, four different shows, 2034 episodes. I’m just so grateful. I’m grateful to MTV,” Rob said. “This was divine timing. I had really evolved over these last few years. And I was growing out of having that ball cap and standing on the Ridiculousness stage and dancing. You know, shooting the television show, what I was most proud of was how deeply efficient I got.”

Rob said that as time went by, he was able to be more efficient in filming the show, sometimes doing up to 12 episodes a day.
“Really it was because I was so committed this time mastery goal of mine. Of understanding all of my time and optimizing my time. That’s what really led to the show being so efficient, but my overall quality of life being so amazing,” he said.

Rob also teased new projects to come.
“I know that the reason I live such an amazing life and such a high-quality existence is because I account for all my time,” he said. “I created this so that everybody could easily account for their time, optimize their time, and thus optimize their quality of life.”

LAPD Says No Murder Suspected in Celeste Rivas Case Involving d4vd
*The death investigation of teenager Celeste Rivas, whose body was discovered inside a Tesla belonging to rapper d4vd, has taken a narrow focus as authorities pursue a single potential charge. Despite rampant online speculation, the Los Angeles Police Department emphasizes that no evidence of foul play has surfaced and no suspects have been named, Hot New Hip-Hop reports.

In a statement released on November 6, the LAPD said: “The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner has not yet determined the cause or manner of Ms. Rivas Hernandez’s death. As such, it remains unclear whether there is any criminal culpability beyond the concealment of her body. RHD is thoroughly examining every aspect of this case to uncover the truth and seek justice for Celeste Rivas Hernandez and her family.”

Investigators have identified only one possible criminal act: concealing Rivas’ remains. KTLA legal analyst Alison Triessl clarified that hiding an accidental death constitutes a misdemeanor in California, carrying penalties of up to one year in county jail and a $10,000 fine. Actively concealing a body qualifies as criminal behavior, though merely failing to report an accidental death does not violate state law.
Rivas was reported missing in April 2024 from Lake Elsinore, California, located approximately 76 miles from the impound facility where authorities eventually located the Tesla. Law enforcement sources told ABC News the vehicle had been parked near a Hollywood Hills property where d4vd was residing before his now-canceled “Withered World Tour.”

Social media attention intensified after a livestream emerged showing the rapper discussing grooming someone identified as Celeste. Rivas’ mother confirmed to TMZ that her daughter had been romantically involved with someone named David.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney confirmed no case submission has been received. Celeste’s body was returned to her family on September 23, with a memorial service conducted on October 6 at Queen of Heaven Cemetery and Mortuary in Rowland Heights, California.

Vivica A. Fox Advises Against Dating 50 Cent and Other Rappers

Vivica A. Fox suggests not dating 50 Cent or other rappers. Fox was speaking at the Ultimate Women's Expo in Edison, New Jersey over the weekend when she was asked a question from an audience member about chasing their dreams.
“Don't date 50 Cent, don’t date no damn rappers,” Fox advised as the crowd began clamoring. She shrugged her shoulders and continued, “Facts! … Just so you know, it took me years to be able to laugh about it. I had to learn to laugh not to cry no more, but I did it.”

50 Cent responded to his former girlfriend via Instagram not long after her moment circulated the internet. "Either way I’m a have that ass in the matrix, you know I love me some you girl, but Damn it’s been 22 years Vivica. 🤷 @50centaction," he wrote.
The Kill Bill actress briefly dated 50 Cent after the 2003 BET Awards and even attended the MTV Video Music Awards together that same year. The two called it quits after just three months of dating and have gotten into a number of public disputes since then.

Although Fox appeared in the 2009 music video for Fifty’s “Do You Think About Me,” the two have had their issues play out in the media.
Meanwhile, 50 Cent didn’t miss the chance to stir the pot, posting on Instagram early Monday to troll Jim Jones following Max B’s prison release. He shared a still from Belly showing the character Rico eating a banana with the caption “Jim Jones,” along with a clip of Max B on FaceTime with DJ Whoo Kid. “[N***as] said Max home it’s packed in Harbor, jimmy about to drop a dime on these [n***as] LOL,” 50 wrote.

Cleveland Guardians Pitcher Luis Ortiz Released on $500,000 Bail in MLB Betting Case
Cleveland Guardians pitcher Luis Ortiz made his first federal court appearance in Boston on Monday, facing wire fraud and conspiracy charges in what prosecutors allege was an MLB betting scheme involving rigged pitches.
U.S. Magistrate Judge Donald Cabell granted Ortiz's release on $500,000 bond, of which $50,000 must be secured within three weeks, as reported by The Athletic.

Ortiz has been ordered to surrender his passport, avoid all direct and indirect contact with anyone who could be viewed as a victim, witness or co-defendant in the case, and limit his travel to court appearances in New York, and meeting with his attorney Chris Georgalis in Cleveland.

In the unsealed indictment obtained by ESPN, Ortiz and fellow Guardians pitcher Emmanuel Clase were paid several thousand dollars by two unnamed gamblers in their home country of the Dominican Republic, who won at least $460,000 by wagering on pitch speed and outcomes.

Ortiz is accused of receiving bribes and kickbacks, totaling $12,000, in exchange for intentionally throwing pitches during his starts on June 15 and 27, which resulted in more than $60,000 in winnings.
Georgalis maintained his client's innocence in a statement to The Athletic.

"He has never and would never improperly influence a game — not for anyone and not for anything," the statement reads. "Luis is and always has been a fierce competitor. He has always given his best effort in every inning of every game. Those who have played with him know this. And the government's investigation, including discussions with Luis' teammates, supports this as well."
Ortiz was arrested at Boston Logan International Airport on Sunday morning. Law enforcement officials believe Clase is not in the United States.

Both have been charged with wire fraud conspiracy, honest services wire fraud conspiracy, money laundering conspiracy, and conspiracy to influence sporting contests by bribery. If convicted, they face up to 65 years in prison.

Ghislaine Maxwell Pushes for Sentence Cut While Whistleblower Claims She’s Living Large in Prison

Ghislaine Maxwell, convicted of helping Jeffrey Epstein sexually exploit teenage girls, is trying to cut her 20-year sentence short, and she’s asking her alleged old pal Donald Trump to help.
According to a whistleblower, Maxwell recently submitted a commutation application and may be enjoying what sounds like luxury treatment inside a minimum-security prison.

“I am struggling to keep it all together as it is big and there are so many attachments,” Maxwell wrote in an email to her attorney, Leaf Saffian.
The whistleblower told House Democrats that Maxwell gets “concierge-style” perks like custom meals, after-hours gym access, and time to play with a puppy in training. One prison official allegedly said he’s “sick of having to be Maxwell’s b***h.”

Rep. Jamie Raskin sent a letter to Trump urging him not to grant her clemency.
“You should not grant any form of clemency to this convicted and unrepentant sex offender,” Raskin wrote.

The White House responded, saying, “Pardoning Ghislaine Maxwell is not something [Trump] has thought about.”
Maxwell’s team has not publicly responded to this latest turn in her legal saga. Earlier this year, she denied seeing Trump do anything “inappropriate” during her time around Esptein. Trump has maintained that he distanced himself from Epstein in 2004 and denied knowledge of the businessman’s abuse of underage girls, despite victim accounts.
