Porsha Williams’ lawyer is speaking out after the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star was involved in an incident during a Delta Airlines flight.
“Ms. Williams was verbally assaulted by an irate and unhinged passenger without provocation. The passenger then proceeded to make false allegations that were in direct conflict with observations from several eyewitnesses,” Williams’ lawyer, Joe Habachy, told Page Six.
“As with any incident occurring aboard an aircraft, federal authorities are required to conduct an investigation involving all parties to determine what, if any, offenses occurred.”

She had just returned from Las Vegas, where she attended BravoCon 2025. TMZ
Habachy noted that Williams, 44, “has every intention of cooperating with law enforcement to whatever extent necessary, and remains confident that the passenger will be charged.”
On Sunday, the former “Celebrity Apprentice” star was met by cops after she landed in Atlanta following her BravoCon 2025 attendance.
Although it was unclear what happened, Williams could be seen in a video obtained by TMZ smiling and cooperating with authorities.
Her lawyer claimed that she “was verbally assaulted by an irate and unhinged passenger without provocation.” TMZ
“The passenger then proceeded to make false allegations that were in direct conflict with observations from several eyewitnesses,” he added. TMZ
A spokesperson for the FBI Atlanta confirmed a situation had happened as they told the outlet, “FBI Atlanta is aware of incident on a Delta flight on November 16th allegedly involving Porsha Williams and/or at least one other person.
“We are looking to see whether any federal charges may or may not apply.”
A law-enforcement source further told the US Sun that Williams and a “female passenger got into an argument” on the flight. They also noted that the only reason the FBI got involved was due to the incident happening in the air.
The outlet reported that neither Williams nor the woman was detained after the flight landed.
Meanwhile, a Delta representative confirmed to TMZ that two passengers were spoken to by cabin crew, but that the situation did not disrupt the flight as it continued and landed without any issues.
Williams, for her part, has remained tight-lipped about the situation.
She has, however, gushed about her time at BravoCon, which spanned from Friday to Sunday.
A day after the incident, the “Real Housewife” shared several snaps from the three-day weekend, which she dubbed “the ultimate mash up” and the “best kind of reunion,” on social media.
She posed alongside “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” stars Kyle Richards and Teddi Mellencamp, as well as attended multiple panels.

#HipHopNews: Megan Thee Stallion’s Defamation Trial Against Blogger Milagro Gramz Begins With Jury Selection

Megan Thee Stallion is facing off against blogger Milagro Gramz in a defamation trial this week.
On Monday (Nov. 17), the trial kicked off with jury selection. Legal reporter Meghann Cuniff was on the scene in the Miami federal courthouse, where she reported on what went down between both sides. Megan and Milagro were seen on video by TMZ and Cuniff leaving the courtroom yesterday. They both appeared in good spirits.
The trial jury is composed of five men and four women, including a Black man and a Black woman, according to Cuniff. “The Black man is a teacher who described himself as a ‘disciplinarian,’” she tweeted.
Megan sued Milagro for defamation in 2024. The rapper accuses Milagro of falsely accusing her of committing the crime of perjury, of promoting a fake pornographic video of her, and of engaging in extreme and outrageous conduct by coordinating with Tory Lanez, who was convicted in 2023 of shooting Megan in 2020. He is currently serving 10 years in prison for the crime.
In addition to those allegations, Megan also accuses Milagro of working with Tory and his father, Sonstar Peterson, to orchestrate online harassment, including spreading fake rumors of Megan. As a result of these accusations, Megan has a five-year restraining order against Tory.
Tory Lanez has been unsuccessfully deposed in prison for this lawsuit several times. Since April, he refused to answer questions and made the legal process difficult on three separate occasions. TMZ reports that his most recent deposition on Nov. 15 resulted in Tory storming out of the room.
He apparently called Megan’s attorney several expletives. Tory’s attorney, Crystal Morgan, reportedly failed to coach the rapper through the deposition and instruct him to answer the questions. A judge found her in contempt.
Tory was fined $20,000 for obstruction in the case after many failed deposition attempts. His lawyer was reportedly ordered to pay $5,000 for failing to uphold professional standards.

New York Jets cornerback Kris Boyd, who was shot in the abdomen early Sunday morning outside a Manhattan restaurant, was upgraded to stable condition as police continued to search for the gunman, a New York Police Department spokesman said Wednesday.
Boyd, 29, hospitalized in Manhattan, has underdone multiple procedures to have the bullet removed from his right lung, sources told ABC News.
A smiling Boyd shared more positive news in an Instagram Story post Wednesday.
"I'm coming along, starting to breathe on my own now," he wrote. "Sincerely appreciate everyone!"
Jets coach Aaron Glenn addressed the matter for the first time Wednesday, saying Boyd is "going to come out of this thing really, really well."
The shooting occurred just after 2 a.m. ET Sunday outside a midtown restaurant popular with celebrities. Boyd, a special teams standout placed on season-ending injured reserve in the preseason due to a shoulder injury, was accompanied by teammates Jamien Sherwood and Irvin Charles, a source told ESPN.

Boyd and his friends got into a scuffle outside the restaurant with a group that included the person police are looking for, police sources told ABC news. The confrontation led to the shooting, sources said. Boyd was transported by EMS to Bellevue Hospital, where he was initially listed in critical but stable condition.
Police released surveillance footage and pictures of the man sought in the shooting, but no arrests have been made, police said.
Glenn said he spoke to Boyd shortly after the shooting. The Jets, who played Thursday night, were on a mini bye over the weekend.
"That's what eases my mind, that he's in good spirits," Glenn said. "His wife and his kid, they're in good spirits, and he'll walk away from this just fine."
Glenn declined to speculate on how it might affect Boyd's career. He said they never discussed football during their conversation.
Boyd is one of one the league's top special teams players, according to Glenn. With his fourth team, Boyd signed a one-year, $1.6 million contract before the season.
The coach addressed the matter with the team on Monday. Although he didn't provide specifics, Glenn said, "You absolutely have to address this with the team, because you don't want anything like this to ever happen to anybody on your team, to anybody outside of the building and other teams."

Smokey Robinson faces new sexual assault allegations, including 1 from a MAN!
Smokey Robinson is now facing two new allegations of sexual assault as new accusers have filed to be added as plaintiffs to the $50 million lawsuit previously filed by the singer's former housekeepers in May.
Motions obtained by Entertainment Weekly on Wednesday requested the addition of two new accusers — John Doe 1 and Jane Doe 5 — to the complaint filed by four former housekeepers who all allege that during their time working as Robinson's housekeepers, the "Tears of a Clown" singer sexually assaulted each of them multiple times. The plaintiffs also named Robinson's wife, Frances Robinson, as a defendant, claiming she "perpetuated a hostile work environment" and failed to protect them.
According to the amended complaint, John Doe 1 claims he began working for Robinson and his wife at their Chatsworth residence in 2013, performing automobile detailing and related services on a recurring basis. He alleges that the 85-year-old began sexually harassing him shortly after he was hired, often coming out to where John Doe 1 was working, wearing only underwear, and allegedly inappropriately touching himself.
John Doe 1 alleges that the "sexual arousal was vivid and unmistakable during these incidents," and accompanied by "vulgar and offensive advances," to which the ex-employee would allegedly respond by telling Robinson to "put some clothes on," per the suit.
John Doe 1 claims that his services were terminated shortly after Robinson allegedly grabbed his hand and attempted to force it "onto his erect penis." John Doe 1 allegedly withdrew, turned away, and left the property after the incident.
He further claims that Frances requested his services again in 2023, but when he returned, Robinson's alleged behavior continued. "As a direct result of Defendant Robinson's repeated sexual harassment, indecent exposure, and unwanted physical contact, John Doe 1 experienced humiliation, emotional distress, and ongoing fear for his safety and dignity," the court documents reads.
John Doe 1 alleges that he quit again after "learning of similar conduct toward other victims and out of concern for his own well-being."
Elsewhere in the complaint, Jane Doe 5 claims that she began working for the Robinsons as a housekeeper in 2005. The alleged sexual harassment from Robinson didn't begin until after she returned from a leave of absence due to a work-related injury in 2007.
Jane Doe 5 alleges that Robinson began sexually harassing her a couple of months after she returned to work and continued to do so until she left in 2011. She alleges the sexual harassment often occurred in the second-floor bathroom of the home, where Robinson would allegedly summon her to while he was showering or getting ready to exit the shower. The singer would then allegedly ask her to enter and scrub his back.
The complaint claims that "on more than 10 occasions," Robinson allegedly grabbed her hand and attempted to force her to touch his private area, which Jane Doe 5 claims she resisted by pushing his hands away and leaving the bathroom.
Jane Doe 5 also alleges that Robinson would often walk around the house naked and rub his elbow against her chest as he passed her. "As a direct result of the repeated sexual harassment and unwanted touching of her chest, JD5 became so traumatized and uncomfortable that she underwent breast reduction surgery in February 2015," the complaint reads.
Jane Doe 5 claims that Robinson would often say, "I like you and want to touch all of you," and would ask her to have sex with him, offering, "Ask for whatever you want so you can be with me."
He also once allegedly propositioned her to accompany him to a nearby hotel, per the suit.
The ex-housekeeper alleges that Frances was aware of her husband's behavior but failed to intervene. Jane Doe 5 also claims that Frances regularly yelled at her, often using "ethnically pejorative language," and accusing her for the loss of various missing items.
"We commend these two courageous survivors for stepping forward and adding their voices to this case," John W. Harris, attorney for the plaintiffs, said in a statement. "We look forward to advocating for them vigorously as they pursue the justice they deserve."
Robinson has denied the allegations.
In response to these new accusations, Robinson's attorney, Christopher Frost, told EW: "These plaintiffs are part of the same group of people who have conspired together against the Robinsons and are layering out their claims for maximum adverse publicity."
"We have already explained in the Robinsons' lawsuit against this group for defamation, civil conspiracy and elder abuse that, all along, this has been an organized, avaricious campaign to extract money from an 85-year-old legend," Frost continued. "This group of people, who hide behind anonymity, and their attorneys seek global publicity while making the ugliest of false allegations. We have sought the Court's intervention multiple times to require these anonymous individuals to divulge essential information, turn over relevant evidence, and to share deposition transcripts with the District Attorney."
Frost added, "For obvious reasons, this group of Does and their attorneys refuse to be forthcoming with all the evidence possible to investigate their own claims. Once the public can see the truth, their avaricious motives and fabricated claims will be revealed."
The legendary Motown singer is being criminally investigated by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department following the lawsuit's filing in May. "The investigation is in the early stages," the Sheriff's Department announced in a statement

Mystikal Ordered to Remain Behind Bars Ahead of Trial on Alleged Rape, Other Charges

Mystikal has been denied bond ahead of a projected 2026 start date for his trial.
As previously reported, the No Limit Records alum, who received public support from label founder Master P back in 2023, is facing multiple charges, including first-degree rape, in connection with an alleged 2022 incident.
As of Wednesday (Nov. 19), an online inmate listing from the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office in Louisiana also lists additional charges related to allegations of false imprisonment and amphetamine possession. Mystikal’s booking date is listed as July 31, 2022.
This week, per a report from regional outlet KLFY-TV, a judge said that Mystikal should remain behind bars until his trial, meaning his request for bond has been denied. Another hearing on the case is reportedly set for Jan. 21 of next year.
As things stand now, the 55-year-old “Shake Ya Ass” artist is facing a potential life sentence.
Complex has reached out to reps for Mystikal, the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office, and the Ascension Parish Court for comment. This story may be updated.
Per previous reports, legal reps for the artist, who has several Hot 100 hits to his name, denied the allegations against their client.
In 2022, a press release issued by the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office said that deputies had responded to a local hospital “in reference to a sexual assault.” Interviews were then conducted with the alleged victim, who was said at the time to have sustained “minor injuries.”
Additional charges leveled against Mystikal at the time included simple robbery, domestic abuse battery with strangulation, and simple criminal damage to property.

Post Malone and His Ex-Fiancée Resolve Months-Long Custody Battle Over Daughter

The months-long custody battle between Post Malone and the mother of his child, Hee Sung “Jamie” Park, has officially come to an end.
According to TMZ, which cited newly filed court documents, Posty and Park reached an agreement last week regarding custody, visitation rights, and child support for their 3-year-old daughter. The remaining details of the arrangement have been sealed.
Park initially filed for primary physical custody in Los Angeles Superior Court in April. People reported at the time that she sought joint legal custody, was open to granting Malone visitation rights, and wanted him to cover her legal fees.
In July, Park moved to dismiss her custody request. Malone had already filed his own custody petition in Utah on April 14—just days before Park filed in L.A., where child support awards often run higher.
The parents have never revealed their daughter's name, who is listed as “DDP” in court documents, though her May 26, 2022 birth date was divulged.
Malone has not publicly addressed his split from Park, though TMZ previously shared video of him out with another woman, identified as Christy Lee, in March. The outlet also published photos of Malone and Lee dining together in Rome this past January.
The rapper announced the birth of his daughter in June 2022 during an appearance on The Howard Stern Show, surprising Stern with the news. Post and Park welcomed their daughter in May 2022.

Chicago Woman Claims She Was Forced To Give Birth In A Car After Nurse Discharged Her While She Was In Active Labor
A family in #Indiana says that their relative, Mercedes Wells, was discharged from Franciscan Health Crown Point hospital while she was in active labor, forcing her to give birth on the side of a road.
According to the family, hospital staff told her to “go home to wait for her labor to progress.”
After being wheeled out, Mercedes gave birth eight minutes later in her truck. Her husband, Leon, delivered the baby. The couple’s attorney spoke on the disheartening situation and said, “Can we agree that a woman in active labor should not be sent away without first being seen by a doctor?”
The hospital’s CEO issued a statement saying, “The video and the comments it has generated are deeply troubling … we understand the concern this has raised.” They added that the situation is under investigation and asserted that the incident “does not accurately represent our values.”

Martha Stewart Joins Dr. Dre And Snoop Dogg As Newest Brand Partner For Still G.I.N. By Dre And Snoop
The spirits industry just witnessed one of the most unexpected yet brilliant partnership announcements of 2025. Martha Stewart, the lifestyle authority who built an empire around sophisticated entertaining and culinary expertise, has officially joined forces with Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg as the newest brand partner for Still G.I.N. By Dre and Snoop. This collaboration marks a fascinating convergence of hip-hop culture, premium spirits craftsmanship, and mainstream lifestyle branding that could reshape how celebrity partnerships evolve in the food and beverage industry.
The partnership isn’t as surprising as it might initially seem. Stewart and Snoop Dogg have maintained what Stewart herself describes as an “unbreakable” friendship, collaborating on various projects over the years. Their authentic relationship provides the foundation for this spirits venture, demonstrating how genuine connections can translate into successful business partnerships in the food and beverage sector.
“I think gin has to have a superior flavor. It has to be smooth and not intrusive on your senses. STILL G.I.N. is so flavorful and so aromatic. It’s my go-to spirit now and I use it in cocktails where I might have used something else before. It’s just that versatile and good,” Stewart explained, highlighting what makes this partnership more than just a celebrity endorsement.
For food and beverage directors and hospitality managers, this partnership represents a masterclass in strategic brand positioning. Still G.I.N. By Dre and Snoop launched in October 2024 as the duo’s second spirits venture, following their successful Gin & Juice By Dre and Snoop ready-to-drink cocktail line. By bringing Stewart into the fold, they’re expanding their market reach beyond their core demographic to include the sophisticated entertaining segment that Stewart dominates.
The 85-proof (42.5% ABV) ultra-premium gin is positioned at a $39.99 suggested retail price point, making it accessible while maintaining premium positioning. This pricing strategy, combined with Stewart’s entertaining expertise, creates opportunities for restaurant and bar programs looking to elevate their gin offerings with compelling storytelling and cocktail program development.
Still G.I.N. By Dre and Snoop distinguishes itself through its production methods and flavor profile. Distilled and bottled in the United States, the gin features notes of tangerine, jasmine, and coriander, creating what the brand describes as an “unforgettable aromatic finish.” For beverage directors evaluating premium gin options, these botanical notes suggest versatility in cocktail applications, from classic gin and tonics to more complex craft cocktails.
The gin’s clean, light profile and high mixability make it particularly attractive for restaurant beverage programs seeking spirits that can anchor multiple cocktail offerings while maintaining consistent quality and flavor profiles across different preparations.
Stewart’s first contribution to the brand showcases her approach to elevated cocktail creation. The Water Melly recipe combines fresh watermelon juice, Still G.I.N., lime juice, cucumber bitters, and cane syrup, demonstrating how premium spirits can be incorporated into seasonal, fresh cocktail programs that appeal to contemporary dining preferences.
For foodservice executives, this recipe development approach offers insights into how celebrity partnerships can generate content for seasonal menu development. The emphasis on fresh ingredients and sophisticated flavor combinations aligns with current food and beverage trends toward premium, artisanal offerings.
Premium Positioning Through Authenticity: Rather than simply licensing their names, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg have maintained hands-on involvement in product development, with Stewart now adding her expertise to enhance the brand’s credibility in sophisticated entertaining contexts.
Cross-Demographic Appeal: The collaboration bridges hip-hop culture, mainstream lifestyle preferences, and premium spirits consumption, potentially expanding the gin’s appeal across diverse customer segments that restaurants and bars serve.
Content Marketing Opportunities: Stewart’s involvement promises a steady stream of recipe development, entertaining tips, and seasonal cocktail ideas that establishments can leverage for their own marketing and menu development efforts.
Still G.I.N. By Dre and Snoop benefits from distribution through Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits, the largest beverage distributor in the United States. This partnership ensures broad availability for restaurants, bars, and hotels seeking to incorporate the spirit into their beverage programs. The national distribution network also provides procurement directors and institutional buyers with reliable access and support for volume purchasing decisions.
The premium spirits market has seen numerous celebrity partnerships, but few combine the authentic relationships and diverse expertise represented by this collaboration. For beverage industry professionals, this partnership demonstrates how successful celebrity spirits ventures require more than name recognition: they need genuine product involvement, strategic market positioning, and authentic brand storytelling.
The addition of Stewart’s entertaining expertise and recipe development capabilities provides Still G.I.N. with content marketing advantages that many competing celebrity spirits lack. Her influence in the lifestyle and entertaining space offers restaurants and bars ready-made promotional content and seasonal programming ideas.
Looking Ahead: Implications for Food and Beverage Trends
This partnership reflects broader trends in the food and beverage industry toward authentic celebrity collaborations, premium spirit positioning, and the importance of storytelling in brand development. As hospitality professionals consider their beverage programming strategies for 2025 and beyond, partnerships like this demonstrate the value of spirits that come with built-in marketing stories, seasonal recipe development, and cross-demographic appeal.
Food recipe books
The collaboration also highlights the growing importance of lifestyle positioning in premium spirits marketing. By combining Stewart’s entertaining expertise with the cultural credibility of Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg, Still G.I.N. positions itself as both a quality spirit and a lifestyle choice, providing restaurants and bars with multiple angles for customer engagement and promotional opportunities.

Trent Grisham accepts qualifying offer from Yankees
Trent Grisham is keeping his pinstripes. The first significant question of the Yankees’ offseason was answered on Tuesday, as Grisham informed the club he would accept a qualifying offer, a one-year contract valued at $22.025 million.

The 29-year-old Grisham was one of four Major Leaguers to accept qualifying offers, along with the Cubs’ Shota Imanaga, Gleyber Torres of the Tigers and Brandon Woodruff of the Brewers. Nine players declined.
4 players accept QO: Biggest surprise, effect on FA market and more
Grisham was the only Yankee to receive the offer, which represented a significant raise over his $5 million salary this past season.
It represented a year filled with career bests for Grisham, who slashed .235/.348/.464 in 143 games this past season. He set new personal marks in hits (116), runs (87), homers (34), RBIs (74), slugging percentage, OPS (.812) and walks (82).
Acquired from the Padres as part of the December 2023 trade that fitted Juan Soto for pinstripes, it was a marked improvement for Grisham, who batted .190 over 76 games for New York in 2024.
“I think consistent at-bats help any player,” Grisham said during the season. “I would put most of it to the mental work that I’ve put in.”
Grisham’s return potentially solves part of the Yankees’ outfield for the ’26 campaign, with three-time Most Valuable Player Aaron Judge set to return in right field.
Yankees general manager Brian Cashman has said Grisham’s return would not impact the club’s pursuit of a reunion with free agent Cody Bellinger.
Cashman has said he will continue discussions with agent Scott Boras regarding Bellinger, who is believed to be one of the Yanks’ top targets.
The club also has Jasson Domínguez and No. 4 prospect Spencer Jones vying for roles in the outfield.
Jones was among three players added to the club’s 40-man roster on Tuesday, protecting him from the upcoming Rule 5 Draft along with right-handers Chase Hampton (No. 8 prospect) and Elmer Rodríguez (No. 3 prospect).
“With some other organizations, he would’ve been in the big leagues probably already last year,” Cashman said of Jones, who has been working out at Yankee Stadium to prepare for a spring opportunity at a starting job.
A National League Gold Glove Award winner in 2020 and ’22, Grisham is a career .218 hitter in 766 games for the Brewers (2019), Padres ('20-23), and Yankees ('24-25).
The Yankees believe Grisham’s 2025 performance is sustainable, as evidenced by Thursday’s offer.
“He had a hell of a year for us,” Cashman said before Tuesday’s decision was announced. “He was one of the big reasons why we had the level of success we did. We’d be happy if he accepted and came back.”

Hatter says she told the school staff for two years her son was being bullied. Sometimes, she says, older kids would follow him home.
"For two years, and they have not done a thing," she said. "They see me coming they will run or tell security to tell me they are not there."
Video shared tens of thousands of times on Facebook shows the attack.
It shows the 33-year-old woman being punched and eventually falling to the ground, where the assault turns even more violent.
Hatter and her 9-year-old son were taken to a hospital in serious condition after the attack.
"I was at work. If I had been with them, it won't have happened," DeVon Lee Sr. said.
Lee is the kids' father.
"I want justice. I want the school to be responsible, the parents and the kids that were doing all that mess," Lee said.
Hatter said her whole body hurts, but she's trying to be there for her children who have endured so much trauma.
"They both are devastated. My son will jump out of his sleep at night calling my name," she said.
"We also have trauma, too. I couldn't sleep. I couldn't sleep at all. I had to force myself to sleep because every time I close my eyes I see the video," Lee said.
The city's deputy mayor said they are working on getting more help for the family and the other families in that community.
And a donation box at Living Fresh Market in Forest Park was installed to help the family and others who may need clothes and toys this season.
There was also a rally Tuesday of parents and residents in front of Bright school.
Hatter said, amid her pain, she is able to find gratitude.
"I thank god for those people; I never felt this much love in the world," she said.
The mother who was captured on video being attacked near a Far South Side school spoke out Wednesday.
Corshawnda Hatter has sickle cell disease, but she says she's never endured such pain.

Trump says he and Mamdani will meet Friday in Washington, setting up clash of political opposites

President Donald Trump said late Wednesday that the long-awaited meeting with New York City Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani would happen in Washington later this week, setting up an in-person clash between the political polar opposites who for months have antagonized each other from afar.
The sit-down, which Trump said on social media would take place Friday in the Oval Office, could possibly represent a detente of sorts between the Republican president and Democratic rising star, as Trump has, since Mamdani’s win, moved toward acceptance of Mamdani’s central, winning campaign issue of affordability.
Calling Mamdani by his full name — and putting the mayor-elect’s middle name of Kwame in quotation marks — Trump posted Wednesday night that Mamdani had asked for the meeting, promising “Further details to follow!”
Saying it was “customary” for an incoming New York City mayor to meet with the president, spokesperson Dora Pekec said Mamdani planned to discuss with Trump “public safety, economic security and the affordability agenda that over one million New Yorkers voted for just two weeks ago.”
Trump for months has slammed Mamdani, falsely labeling him as a “communist” and predicting the ruin of his hometown if the democratic socialist was elected. He also threatened to deport Mamdani, who was born in Uganda and became a naturalized American citizen in 2018, and to pull federal money from the city.
But following the November election — in which Republicans lost badly in Georgia, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Virginia — Trump has spoken more about affordability, which had been a focal point across Democrats’ campaigns, including Mamdani’s, even declaring Friday in a social media post that the GOP is the “Party of Affordability!” This comes as the president and his fellow Republicans insist the economy has never been stronger.
Trump told reporters Sunday night that he planned to meet with Mamdani, saying ” we’ll work something out.” On Monday, Mamdani — who officially takes office in January — said that he hoped to meet Trump, confirming that his team had reached out to the White House to set up a possible sit-down.
During his victory speech earlier this month, Mamdani, a 34-year-old who in just a few short months rose from obscure state lawmaker representing Queens to mayor-elect of the nation’s biggest city, said he wanted New York to show the country how to defeat the president.
He’s also talked about “Trump-proofing” New York once he takes office in January while also promising to work with anyone, including the president, if it benefited New Yorkers.

Glenn Close Reveals What She Really Thought of Kim Kardashian's Acting in 'All's Fair'

Glenn Close is speaking her mind on Kim Kardashian. The 78-year-old actress got candid with her feelings about her All’s Fair co-star, and the 45-year-old The Kardashians reality TV star’s acting ability.
“What surprised me was Kim’s seriousness of intent,” she said to Variety.
“She always knew her lines. She never was late. She always was prepared. She had no pretensions that she was a great actress, but she was smart enough to have people around her who she could learn from,” she continued.
“If she was a big ego or what I call a ‘life-is-too-short person,’ I would have been unhappy, but she’s not.”
She also addressed this being her first Ryan Murphy role.
“I was intimidated. I’d never been in a Ryan movie or show. … I didn’t understand the tone for a while. I found it hard,” she admitted.
