#RHOA: YA Girl, Nene Leakes Son Bryson Bryant Jailed Over Unpaid Child Support ...
"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" alum NeNe Leakes' oldest son, Bryson Bryant, is behind bars after a judge found he violated his probation ... TMZ has learned.
Per jail records, Bryson was booked on May 1, 2026, and is currently held in a Georgia jail … on charges of failure to pay child support, probation violation, and failure to appear. His bond is set at $27K.
The probation violation stems from a 2024 case in which cops say he was found with fentanyl. During questioning, cops say he told officers his name was Brentt Leakes, which is the name of NeNe's youngest son.
Bryson ended up being charged with giving a false name to officers and possession of a controlled substance. He reached a plea deal where the drug charge was dropped, but he was sentenced to 12 months' probation.
In addition, he was ordered to pay $500 in fines, complete 40 hours of community service, get randomly drug tested, and undergo a drug evaluation.
TMZ obtained court docs filed on June 2 … where prosecutors claimed Bryson violated numerous terms of his 2024 probation, including failure to report since the sentence, complete the substance abuse evaluation, perform his community service, and make any payments on the fine.
NeNe previously spoke out about Bryson's issues with addiction ... saying he needed counseling and had a problem.
The 'RHOA' alum said she has spent a ton of money trying to help him and that he has gone to rehab multiple times … with no luck.

#NewMusic from Glenn Lewis Releases “Overture”

After years of anticipation and a career defined by uncompromising musical integrity, neo-soul visionary Glenn Lewis has officially returned with his latest studio album, Overture. Available now on all major digital platforms, the new project serves as both a homecoming for long-time fans and a bold, refined statement from an artist who continues to shape the contours of contemporary R&B.
Overture arrives as a comprehensive creative bridge between Lewis’s early 2000s breakout and his current evolution as a songwriter. Known for his technical agility and signature raspy, emotive tenor, Lewis delivers a project that balances the jazz-inflected chords and classic R&B structural integrity that established him as a “musician’s musician” two decades ago, while integrating modern, nuanced production textures.

Quinta Brunson Inks Overall Deal With 20th Television, Moves From Warner Bros. To Disney
Emmy-winning creator, writer and actor Quinta Brunson has signed a new overall deal with 20th Television, marking a major shift in her studio relationship as she departs Warner Bros. Television after several years.
The agreement brings one of television’s most influential creative voices further into Disney’s television ecosystem. It also strengthens Disney’s ties to the powerhouse behind “Abbott Elementary,” the acclaimed comedy that has become one of broadcast television’s most celebrated success stories.
Brunson previously signed a multi-year overall deal with Warner Bros. Television in 2022. That agreement followed the breakout success of “Abbott Elementary,” which she created, executive produces and stars in. The series is produced through a partnership involving Warner Bros. Television and 20th Television for ABC.
The new pact shifts Brunson’s future television development efforts to 20th Television, Disney Television Studios’ flagship production arm. The move positions Disney to become the primary home for her upcoming scripted projects as the company continues to invest in top-tier creative talent
Brunson’s rise has been one of Hollywood’s most notable success stories in recent years.
After gaining attention through digital comedy and viral online content, she broke into network television with “Abbott Elementary,” a mockumentary-style workplace comedy inspired by the experiences of public school educators. The series quickly earned critical acclaim and strong audience support, helping revive interest in network sitcoms during an era dominated by streaming platforms.
The show has also generated significant awards recognition. Brunson became one of the most prominent creators in television through her work as a writer, performer and executive producer. Her success has made her a highly sought-after talent among major studios seeking original programming and franchise-building creative partners.
Industry observers view the new agreement as a reflection of Disney’s confidence in Brunson’s ability to develop projects beyond “Abbott Elementary.” Overall deals typically give studios first access to a creator’s future television concepts while providing resources for development and production.
The deal arrives at a time when competition for proven television creators remains intense. Studios continue to prioritize exclusive agreements with writers and producers who have demonstrated an ability to create hit series and attract audiences across multiple platforms.
For Disney, securing Brunson represents more than retaining a successful creator. It provides the company with an opportunity to expand its portfolio of original programming under a creator whose voice has resonated with critics and viewers alike.
While financial terms were not disclosed, the agreement underscores Brunson’s growing influence within the entertainment industry. It also signals confidence that her creative output can extend well beyond the halls of Abbott Elementary.

According to 95.5 WSB, a private family gathering will take place on Sunday, June 21. The homegoing is scheduled for Monday at 10 a.m. at Antioch Baptist Church in Atlanta. Regina Belle, BeBe Winans, and Ruben Studdard are all slated to give musical tributes. The service will be available via livestream for those not invited to attend in person.
On June 2, Bryson’s family shared that he passed away surrounded by loved ones. The day before, he suffered a stroke, his representative confirmed.
“With broken hearts and profound sadness, the family of two-time Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, and balladeer, Peabo Bryson, announces his passing,” the family said in a statement at the time of his death. “He transitioned peacefully at 5:00 p.m. ET on the evening of Tuesday, June 2, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family and those closest to him.”
“For more than five decades, Peabo’s extraordinary voice served as the soundtrack to some of life’s most cherished moments,” the family said in a statement. “His music carried generations through joyful celebrations, great love stories, and enduring moments of comfort.”
Born in South Carolina, Bryson first rose to prominence in the 1970s as a member of Moses Dillard and the Tex-Town Display before launching a prolific solo career. He became a staple of R&B radio with early hits like “Feel the Fire” and “Reaching for the Sky.” By the mid-1980s, he successfully crossed over into mainstream pop stardom with the Top 10 hit “If Ever You’re in My Arms Again.”
In an interview with Tatler Asia in 2015. Bryson spoke about what makes a good duet.
“I think the secret to a really good duet is that you have to fall a little bit in love with your duet partner,” Bryson said. “I was very fortunate in finding a duet partner in Roberta Flack who really knew what a duet was. And knew how to play to a person’s strengths and weaknesses equally. I learned how to do a great duet from working with Roberta Flack because she’s that great.”

Kevin Hart Claims Alleged $250K Extortion Attempt By Tasha K Associates In Latest Legal Fiasco
Kevin Hart is taking his ex-assistant to court for $50,000 after she ran her mouth about his personal details to whom else? Tasha K.
Miesha Shakes, who worked for Hart from 2017 to 2020, appeared on Tasha K’s podcast and revealed information about his private life, violating a confidentiality agreement they’d signed.
Hart’s legal team is now demanding the full 50 racks as a penalty that was outlined in their original NDA, according to TMZ.
What makes this even messier is that Hart claims Tasha K’s associates tried to extort him for $250,000 before the interview even aired.
He says someone connected to Tasha K called him demanding the loot to keep the segment off the air, and when he refused, he reported the alleged extortion to police and sent cease-and-desist letters.
The interview ran anyway, and now Hart’s pursuing damages in court. This is the kind of pattern that keeps following Tasha K around.
Speaking of which, Tasha K’s got her own legal problems stacking up fast.
She’s currently fighting a nearly $4 million judgment from Cardi B over a defamation case, and she’s been claiming financial hardship to try to reduce what she owes.
Cardi B isn’t having it, though. The rapper is aggressively pursuing a full judgment and has even filed a federal lawsuit against Tasha K’s husband, Cheickna Kebe, alleging he’s been helping to hide assets to avoid payment. Cardi’s not letting this slide.
Tasha K’s guests are also taking major losses. Bilaal Salaam, who’s known as Will Smith’s ex-best friend, appeared on Tasha K’s podcast and made allegations about Will and Jada Pinkett Smith.
Now he’s facing multiple lawsuits and is certified homeless, receiving welfare benefits. He’s begging a judge not to make him pay over $32K in legal fees to Jada Pinkett Smith, claiming he’s got nothing left.
The guy went from being close to one of Hollywood’s biggest names to living on the streets, and his appearance on Tasha K’s platform only made things worse for him.
Garrett Morris Reacts To Viral Bulge Photo

Garrett Morris is proving that even a viral social media moment can be turned into something positive.
The legendary actor and comedian is using the buzz surrounding a photo with Taraji P. Henson to promote his upcoming memoir and encourage people to get out and vote.
Earlier this week, Taraji P. Henson shared a photo of herself and Garrett Morris after he attended her Broadway run of “Joe Turner’s Come and Gone.”
While many appreciated the sweet moment between the two stars, social media quickly became fixated on what appeared to be a noticeable bulge in Garrett’s pants.
Never one to miss a comedic opportunity, Garrett addressed the online chatter in a video posted to social media.
“Well, hello there. I’m Garrett Morris, and it seems I have caused quite a stir because of a recent photo where it looks like I have a baby boa constrictor between my legs,” he joked.
Garrett leaned into the joke, saying he didn’t mind living up to stereotypes often associated with Black men, but reminded viewers that he’s “more than a body.”
The comedian then shifted gears to promote his upcoming memoir, “Ain’t That a Bitch,” which is set for release next year.
Garrett also used the unexpected attention to share a message about the importance of voting.
Reflecting on his experiences during the Civil Rights Movement, he reminded viewers of the sacrifices made by activists who fought for voting rights.
“The one thing you can do is vote,” Garrett said. “They’re trying to take away our votes right now. But don’t let that cause you to become depressed and not work at it. Vote and buy my book.”
Of course, he couldn’t resist ending on another punchline, joking that book sales would help him pay his rent and support his “side lady” before adding that he hoped his “real lady” wasn’t listening.
Taraji P. Henson has not publicly addressed the social media frenzy surrounding the photo, but the image has since been removed from her Instagram page.
One thing’s for sure: Garrett Morris managed to turn an unexpected viral moment into a hilarious book promotion and a reminder to make your voice heard at the ballot box.

Marvel Launches Black Panther & Namor: Doomed Limited Comic Series
Marvel Comics is set to release a new limited series titled Black Panther & Namor: Doomed, spinning off from the ongoing Avengers: Armageddon storyline. The five-issue series will debut in comic stores on September 2, 2026.
The narrative centers on Black Panther and Namor journeying into Hell to confront Doctor Doom following his death in the One World Under Doom event. This supernatural quest is prompted by demonic attacks on Wakanda and Atlantis, forcing the two monarchs to unite and investigate the underworld. The story builds directly on their involvement in the battle against Red Hulk in Armageddon #1, testing their alliance against high-stakes challenges. While in Hell, they encounter the wandering soul of Doctor Doom, making him the central adversary of the series.
Written by Ethan S. Parker and Griffin Sheridan, with artwork by Stefano Nesi, the series promises a compelling exploration of the complex dynamics between these iconic Marvel characters. Dave Johnson provides the striking cover art. Both writers have expressed enthusiasm about exploring the rich relationships and legendary status of Black Panther, Namor, and Doctor Doom, emphasizing the story’s intense stakes and narrative depth.
Black Panther is a cornerstone character of the Marvel Universe, known for his role as the king of Wakanda and a pivotal figure in numerous comic arcs. The character gained widespread recognition through the 2018 superhero action film produced by Walt Disney Pictures, which helped redefine Marvel’s cinematic landscape.
This new series matters because it expands the current Avengers: Armageddon saga by deepening the lore around Wakanda and Atlantis, two of Marvel’s most influential kingdoms. By confronting supernatural forces and a legendary villain like Doctor Doom, the story sets up significant consequences for the Marvel monarchies, promising fans a dramatic and thrilling continuation of the shared universe.

New York Knicks Champion OG Anunoby Is Helping Get NYC Shelter Cats Adopted

OG Anunoby is more than just a champion for the New York Knicks — he’s also an advocate for shelter cats.
Days after helping the Knicks end a 53-year title drought, Anunoby, who will soon also be getting his own Sketchers shoe, launched "OG's Starting Five" — a partnership with Royal Canin, VCA Animal Hospitals, and Animal Care Centers of NYC (ACC) — which aims to find homes for five adoptable cats pulled from the city's largest shelter system.
Anunoby, who’s a cat lover himself, personally chose five cats from ACC, naming them Penne, Sammy, Roxie, Damu, and Lil Leo. So far, three of the cats have found new homes.
The campaign moved fast. Three of the five cats were adopted within days of the launch. "This really made it possible for this cat to be adopted," Katy Hansen, director of communications for the Animal Care Centers of NYC, said in a statement. "And who knows how many people came in thinking they were going to meet one of those five, and then they ended up adopting another cat."
To sweeten the deal for adopters, each person who takes home one of the Starting Five gets a year of free Royal Canin pet food and a year of complimentary, unlimited wellness exams from VCA Animal Hospitals.
Royal Canin went further, committing to donate 50,000 pounds of pet food, valued at $300,000, to shelters nationwide through Greater Good Charities in Anunoby's name.
Hansen credited the broader pull of athlete-driven advocacy for the campaign's early traction. "I think having athletes who so many people respect and hero worship talking about adoptions is going to get other people to start talking about adoption," she said. "Especially young kids... The more people that talk about adoption, the better off we'll be because shelters around the country are at crisis level."
Hansen also noted the initiative carries momentum beyond just five cats. "OG has been inspiring New Yorkers all season long, and now he's helping create life-changing moments for shelter pets," she said.
Two cats from the Starting Five, Sammy (a 4-year-old male) and Roxie (a 5-pound, 6-year-old orange-and-white female), remain available through ACC.
Anunoby's Finals run gave him extra credibility to command New York's attention. He averaged 21.2 points and 4.8 rebounds over five games against the San Antonio Spurs, including a tip-in game-winner with 1.2 seconds left in Game 4 that completed a 29-point comeback for a 107-106 victory.

Dua Lipa & Callum Turner Share Their Official Wedding Photos After Getting Married in Sicily!
Dua Lipa and Callum Turner are sharing their wedding photos!
Earlier this month, the couple married for the second time at the Villa Valguarnera outside of Palermo in Sicily.
Now a few weeks later, the 30-year-old “Training Season” singer and the 36-year-old Eternity actor are sharing photos from their big day!
For the wedding, Dua wore the first Chanel Haute Couture wedding dress designed by Matthieu Blazy.
“The result of the close relationship between Dua Lipa and CHANEL, and brought to life thanks to an exceptional savoir-faire, Dua Lipa’s Haute Couture wedding dress has been handcrafted in the ateliers at 31, Rue Cambon in Paris,” Chanel shared in a press release.
“For this unique design, several Maisons d’art also contributed to the making of the dress through the creation of intricate embellishments,” the release continued. “Entirely hand-embroidered with 480,000 beads by Atelier Montex and trompe l’oeil jewels requiring 1,155 hours of needlework by Lesage, the dress—with a two-metre train—is also delicately underlined with 25,000 feathers by Lemarié.”

“A six-metre tulle wedding veil was hand-embroidered with beads and feathers and enhanced by hand-cut organza appliqués,” Chanel added. “To complete the look, white satin pumps were custom-made by Massaro.”
As for Callum, he wore a custom Louis Vuitton suit for the wedding.
More than 200 guests were in attendance at the wedding in Sicily, including Charli XCX, Elton John, Joe Alwyn, and Donatella Versace. You can get more details about their wedding here.
Dua also took to Instagram to share even more photos from their wedding.
Their second ceremony comes just days after their first, legal and intimate ceremony in London.

Netflix Lands ‘Sesame Street’ Movie Rights After 2-Company Bidding War
Netflix is keeping Sesame Street on it’s platform after winning the film rights to the popular children’s program.
The streamer won the rights after a two-company bidding war, according to THR, with Rideback producing the movie.
Rideback has already been working with Sesame Workshop on an animated project and had their stamp of approval for the movie rights going to Netflix.
The bidding war has been a year-long process, and reportedly started with three companies looking to gain the film rights – Universal, Warner Bros and Netflix.
Warner Bros previously held film rights, but a movie never came to fruition, and they bowed out of the bidding early on. Universal’s bid also had Everything Everywhere All at Once helmers The Daniels attached as producers.
If you recall, Netflix actually saved the Sesame Street television show last year, after Warner Bros Discovery decided not to renew it’s deal. The first season debuted on the streaming service in November 2025, and the second season premiered back in March.
Rideback’s Jonathan Eirich and Michael Lofaso are set to produce the Sesame Street movie.
The production company has a history with producing content for Netflix, including the live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender series, as well as movies like Death Note and The Two Popes.
They have also produced the live-action Lilo & Stitch movie, as well as The Lego Movies, live-action Aladdin, It, Sherlock Holmes with Robert Downey Jr, Gangster Squad, Haunted Mansion, and TV shows like Walker and Walker: Independence, Lethal Weapon and Frequency.

Ryan Coogler’s Proximity Media Signs Exclusive TV Deal With Netflix

*Ryan Coogler is bringing his television ambitions to Netflix. The streaming platform has signed a multi-year creative partnership with Proximity Media Television, the production company founded by Coogler, Zinzi Coogler, and Sev Ohanian. Under the agreement, Proximity Media will exclusively develop new television series for Netflix, per Tudum.
The deal marks a major expansion of Proximity’s television business as the company continues to build on a growing slate of scripted, animated, and documentary projects.
“We started Proximity Media with a simple goal: to tell event-driven stories that bring people in close proximity with often overlooked subjects,” Coogler, Zinzi Coogler, and Ohanian said in a joint statement. “As we continue to expand Proximity’s television business, we’re thrilled to partner with Netflix, a company that has consistently demonstrated its commitment to distinctive creators and original storytelling.”
The trio added that they look forward to bringing “a new generation of stories to audiences around the world.”
Netflix executives point to Proximity’s growing track record in television as a key factor behind the partnership.
“Proximity Media has built a remarkable reputation for championing visionary creators and producing stories that resonate deeply with audiences worldwide,” said Jinny Howe, Netflix’s head of scripted series for the United States and Canada.
Howe also praised the company’s television division for continuing to push creative boundaries and said Netflix is eager to collaborate on its next slate of projects.
Proximity Media Television has expanded rapidly in recent years. Its credits include Marvel’s “Ironheart,” the National Geographic docuseries “Hurricane Katrina: A Race Against Time,” and the animated Marvel series “Eyes of Wakanda.”
The company is also developing a new “The X-Files” series starring Danielle Deadwyler and Himesh Patel, as well as a live-action adaptation of “Southern Bastards” featuring Kevin Bacon, Erin Kellyman, and Tim McGraw.
The announcement arrives during a strong period for Coogler. His latest film, “Sinners,” starring Michael B. Jordan, has generated more than $365 million worldwide and ranks as the highest-grossing original film of 2025.
While Netflix did not announce specific projects tied to the new agreement, the partnership gives the streamer exclusive access to future television series developed by one of Hollywood’s most successful creative teams.
