#MAGFAB: Keke Palmer and Sharon Stone For VARIETY Magazine's “Actors on Actors”
In a new conversation for VARIETY’s “Actors on Actors” issue, Keke Palmer and Sharon Stone’s chemistry is apparent as they discuss taking away men’s rights, being single moms, Stone getting Father’s Day cards from her kids, possibly working on a project together with Colman Domingo, what to do if a director asks “you to stand on your head and fart the national anthem,” “Euphoria” being shown in high schools, “The ‘Burbs,” and more.
Stone: It’s so hard.
Palmer: Especially solo. I have a lot of support, but I’m just saying.
Stone: I did solo. I adopted three boys.
Palmer: I’m not surprised. Boy mom energy.
Stone: Changed me. And then sometimes —you’ll find, I’m sure, with your son as he grows — there are dad questions. I took them in a certain room of my house and closed the door and said, “This is where we do dad questions. And now you talk to me like I’m your dad.” And that’s what we did. “We’re going to talk about anything you might need to know about this, this or this.”
Palmer: As they got older, did they understand how you were creating this safe space?
Stone: Yes. They gave me Father’s Day cards.
Stone: Would we tell men we’d like to take away their healthcare? “First of all, we’re taking the Viagra.”
Palmer: Because that’s got y’all acting crazy. All that hairline stuff, cut it out, since y’all are being mean now.
Stone: And we don’t know about the voting. Because you can’t be responsible to come home, take care of your kids or pay that child support.
Palmer: I don’t know if I’m into them driving.
Stone on some advice she received from an acting teacher:
As my acting teacher used to say, “You never tell a director, ‘My character wouldn’t do that.’” If the director says to you, “I’d like you to stand on your head and fart the national anthem,” your response shouldn’t be “My character wouldn’t do that” but “How would my character do that? And why?”
Palmer and Stone on working on a project together with Colman Domingo and getting together after “Actors on Actors”:
Palmer: Oh, my gosh, I just love you. When are we doing a movie? I need to be with you every day.
Stone: I was just talking to Colman [Domingo]. He has an idea for a series for us.
Palmer: Girl, when?!
Stone: If we do it, there would definitely be a part for you, if you’re into it. I’ve been trying to play his wife forever.
Palmer: He’s so handsome.
Stone: He’s a great host.
Palmer: I need to go to a dinner party at his.
Stone: Why don’t I do that? We’ll all do my house.
Palmer: Sounds like a date.
Palmer and Stone on the isolating nature of fame:
Stone: Very few people are going to ever understand that the more successful you become, the more isolating that it is.
Palmer: I’m not trying to strum that violin, but especially as a woman. When a woman happens to be secure — knows what she wants — somehow we’re such monsters.
Palmer and Stone on how Palmer’s role in “Alice” influenced her current era:
Palmer: I did this movie called “Alice” where I played this woman who realized she was a slave. Every day after I did that movie, I was like, “I got to live. For my ancestors.”
Stone: Don’t you think that you called to your ancestors to play the part? And they do not ever let go. They’ll be with you forever because you called to them.
Palmer: Girl. You are speaking the truth. That was the beginning of the era that I’m living in now, which is immense gratitude for self. No more shame. No more time for none of that shit. [They fist bump.]
Stone on “Euphoria” and her connection to the show:
I think it’s the greatest show on television. We’ve met these kids. We’ve seen them turn into young adults. We’ve seen them turn into full-on drug dealers. And I’ve gone through it in my family. My brother went to the biggest prison in New York. He got in the drug business. It kept going. I was like, “You have to get out. You have to let me pay off your vig.” So when the first episode ended, I just sat there and cried. And then I read these reviews about how people wanted it to be this happy ending, and I’m like, “What you saw was so honest.” “Euphoria” is so relevant. I believe it should be shown in every high school, and I think all the parents should have to see it.
Palmer and Stone on Palmer’s series “The ‘Burbs”:
Stone: I notice on your show, “The ’Burbs,” you have a suburban community that actually has all of the players that would be in the suburbs. You have a charming, not only interracial, but international couple. Then you have the lesbian neighbor. The guy who’s undercover from somewhere. And you have, maybe, a murder. You have managed to allow us to be comfortable with suburbia and all the real things that are in it.
Palmer: That’s the best compliment, because that was the hope for the show. To talk about real things. Expose the stuff that is happening in the underbellies of suburbia, but make it digestible. Dialogue about it. I think about Norman Lear back in the day, watching “The Jeffersons” and Archie Bunker and George.

Both Gizelle and her fellow RHOP ‘Wife Wendy Osefo starred in an episode of the daytime drama, which aired on Dec. 1, 2025, according to Soap Opera Network. The series takes place in an affluent Maryland suburb. RHOP’s Karen Huger also made a cameo in the soap opera in February 2025.
Porsha Williams shares details of her friendship with Gizelle Bryant
Porsha and Gizelle have a long and storied history together, which Porsha laid out in the June 7 episode. “First of all, I just love me some Gizelle. We did a very popular show, honey, called [Bravo’s] Chat Room together,” Porsha told producers. “And it was during the time where everything had to be virtual.”
The crossover series also brought together Summer House’s Hannah Berner, and Below Deck’s Kate Chastain, and first premiered in September 2020. Additionally, Porsha and Gizelle spent time in Thailand together for The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip Season 3.
“I just love her,” Porsha added during the June 7 episode. “She’s one of those friends that’s gonna just tell you like it is.”

“So, Jamal and I have been in the trenches of trying to do civil rights and trying to make sure that we leave this world a better place," she told BravoTV.com in 2020. “I’m very proud, always, of what Jamal does especially in the Black community. He really gives his heart and soul to the community."
While married from 2002 to 2009, the couple had three daughters: twins Angel and Adore, and Grace. They briefly rekindled in 2019, but it was a long distance relationship between the Potomac area and the Atlanta area. They officially ended things a second time in 2021.
"Listen, we were a victim of the pandemic," she told E! of their second breakup. "I don't think any long-distance relationship can really withstand not seeing each other. But is he still in my life, is he still one of my best friends? Absolutely."

Latto explains why she called out Cardi B on the new song "Gimmie Dat" and Cardi responds.
On Thursday (June 4), Latto was a guest on The Breakfast Club, where she confirmed she was sending shots at Bardi on the track off her new Big Mama album. Latto explained that Cardi publicly apologized to her for calling Latto "pu**y" during a leaked 2025 phone call, but didn't apologize privately until a few months later, which left a bad taste in Latto's mouth, leading to the diss.
"I was at an early stage in my pregnancy," Latto said. "I rushed to the studio to do a verse for ["ErrTime (Remix)"] and literally like two days later, I see all over the internet that I'm being called pu**y."
Latto addresses the issue on "Gimmie Dat," and references Cardi's public apology and offer to buy her a purse to make amends.
"B**ch said what? Let's clock it/Really got a Hermès store in my closet," Latto raps. "Talkin' 'bout buyin' big mama a bag like my ni**a ain't already bought it/Like my ni**a ain't comin' off racks/Big bank over here, big facts/Wish a b**ch would get in that booth/I'm callin' up PlaqueBoyMax."
On Friday, Cardi responded to Latto's interview on X, saying that she is truly sorry for what happened and always had love and respect for Latto. Cardi also said she made multiple attempts to reach out to Latto, but Latto instead wanted to address the matter on her album.
"I truly understand how you feel…and that’s exactly why I chose to apologize publicly because the disrespect became public," Cardi B posted. "On that call I didn’t even mean to call you that, I didn’t mean any harm.. There’s a difference in what I said vs what I meant.
Cardi added, "What I could have said was you was too forgiving and gave too much mercy in that situation.. But it was a heated conversation and I let my mouth get the best of me. When the call came out I was eight months pregnant, had just released my album, and was extremely overwhelmed and emotional. Thats not to excuse what I said but to let you know where I was in my head. I genuinely felt bad about what happened."
She continued, "In 2025 and 2026 I made multiple attempts to connect…I spoke with your manager, your sister, and even texted you directly to take full responsibility. I always had love and respect for you ! I always wanted to make it right but making it right looks different for the both of us… I wanted to connect with you but you wanted to address it on your album."

The 2026 Tony Awards have just come to an end and the full list of winners has been unveiled!
Pink hosted this year’s show for the first time, which took place at Radio City Music Hall on Sunday evening (June 7) in New York City.
The Tony’s this year featured performances from the casts of Schmigadoon!, Cats: The Jellicle Ball, Titanique, The Lost Boys, Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York), Ragtime and The Rocky Horror Show.
There were also performances celebrating anniversaries of The Book of Mormon (15th) and Chicago (30th).
Among the winners this year included the revival of Death of a Salesman, which took home several trophies, along with Ragtime, Schmigadoon!, The Lost Boys, Cats: The Jellicle Ball and more!

On Thursday (June 4), Latto was a guest on The Breakfast Club, where she confirmed she was sending shots at Bardi on the track off her new Big Mama album. Latto explained that Cardi publicly apologized to her for calling Latto "pu**y" during a leaked 2025 phone call, but didn't apologize privately until a few months later, which left a bad taste in Latto's mouth, leading to the diss.
"I was at an early stage in my pregnancy," Latto said. "I rushed to the studio to do a verse for ["ErrTime (Remix)"] and literally like two days later, I see all over the internet that I'm being called pu**y."
Latto addresses the issue on "Gimmie Dat," and references Cardi's public apology and offer to buy her a purse to make amends.
"B**ch said what? Let's clock it/Really got a Hermès store in my closet," Latto raps. "Talkin' 'bout buyin' big mama a bag like my ni**a ain't already bought it/Like my ni**a ain't comin' off racks/Big bank over here, big facts/Wish a b**ch would get in that booth/I'm callin' up PlaqueBoyMax."
On Friday, Cardi responded to Latto's interview on X, saying that she is truly sorry for what happened and always had love and respect for Latto. Cardi also said she made multiple attempts to reach out to Latto, but Latto instead wanted to address the matter on her album.
"I truly understand how you feel…and that’s exactly why I chose to apologize publicly because the disrespect became public," Cardi B posted. "On that call I didn’t even mean to call you that, I didn’t mean any harm.. There’s a difference in what I said vs what I meant.
Cardi added, "What I could have said was you was too forgiving and gave too much mercy in that situation.. But it was a heated conversation and I let my mouth get the best of me. When the call came out I was eight months pregnant, had just released my album, and was extremely overwhelmed and emotional. Thats not to excuse what I said but to let you know where I was in my head. I genuinely felt bad about what happened."
She continued, "In 2025 and 2026 I made multiple attempts to connect…I spoke with your manager, your sister, and even texted you directly to take full responsibility. I always had love and respect for you ! I always wanted to make it right but making it right looks different for the both of us… I wanted to connect with you but you wanted to address it on your album."

The 2026 Tony Awards have just come to an end and the full list of winners has been unveiled!
Pink hosted this year’s show for the first time, which took place at Radio City Music Hall on Sunday evening (June 7) in New York City.
The Tony’s this year featured performances from the casts of Schmigadoon!, Cats: The Jellicle Ball, Titanique, The Lost Boys, Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York), Ragtime and The Rocky Horror Show.
There were also performances celebrating anniversaries of The Book of Mormon (15th) and Chicago (30th).
Among the winners this year included the revival of Death of a Salesman, which took home several trophies, along with Ragtime, Schmigadoon!, The Lost Boys, Cats: The Jellicle Ball and more!

Ballroom legends Omari Wiles and Arturo Lyons won Best Choreography at the 2026 Tony Awards for their work on Cats: The Jellicle Ball. Their win was announced at the 79th Annual Tony Awards Act One pre-show on June 7 at Radio City Music Hall.
In the Ballroom world, Lyons leads the House of Miyake Mugler and Wiles is the founder of the House of Ricci. The duo thanked the Ballroom community, with Lyons saying, “We have been in Ballroom [for] over 30 years combined—serving, battling, competing. But this is not a competition. This is celebrating all the hard work of all the choreographers, all the talented cast members of Cats: The Jellicle Ball, who put their blood, sweat and tears every show eight times a week on that floor."

Sherri Shepherd ‘Blindsided’ by Her Talk Show’s Cancellation
Sherri Shepherd regrets not having a backup plan before her daytime talk show was canceled earlier this year. In a candid video from South Africa, the comedienne said she was “blindsided” by her show’s cancellation and she didn’t have a backup plan.
“I didn’t really get to make plans because I thought it was coming back,” she explained. Sherri told a follower that she’s considering bringing her talk show back as a podcast.
Sherri said she loved doing her talk show and it was “a dream come true.” But she’s “disappointed” that it’s over. “I felt like I was just hitting my stride… and I felt that I was [really good at it].”
“It’s all good when it’s all good, but how do you respond when it’s not all good?” she said. “My faith says there is something else down the pipeline,” she continued.
Sherri’s talk show replaced “The Wendy Williams Show” and inherited her time slot in 2022.
Celebrity guests, including Sherri, took turns hosting Wendy’s show in the year that she was on leave for health-related issues. But it was clear that Wendy would not return. Rumors spread that Sherri would take her place.
“Since Wendy is still not available to host the show as she continues on her road to recovery, we believe it is best for our fans, stations and advertising partners to start making this transition now,” company co-presidents Mort Marcus and Ira Bernstein said in a statement in 2022.
The show’s producer Debmar-Mercury announced Sherri would take Wendy’s place. They hoped Sherri would compete with Jennifer Hudson’s new talk show which launched that fall.
“OMG! I am so excited to have my dream come true and debut my very own talk show” Sherri said in a statement. She said her talk show would combine her love of “pop culture, talk, entertainment and comedy.”
However, Sherri didn’t plan ahead for the show’s cancellation because she believed her show would air for many years.
In February, it was announced that Sherri’s show was canceled after 4 seasons.
“This decision is driven by the evolving daytime television landscape and does not reflect on the strength of the show, its production – which has found strong creative momentum this season – or the incredibly talented Sherri Shepherd,” Debmar-Mercury said in a statement in February. “We believe in this show and in Sherri and intend to explore alternatives for it on other platforms.”
“Sherri” will continue to air its 4th season until the fall.

Jussie Smollett got cold feet and called off his wedding to fellow actor Jabari Redd. Jussie proposed to Jabari during Pride Month in June 2025.
The “Empire” alum shared photos of the happy moment on his Instagram page on June 20, 2025. In one photo, he bent down on one knee and handed an engagement ring to Jabari in a very public place.
Jussie, 44, captioned the post: “I’ll be spending my birthday with my Fiancé… He said YES. [ring emoji].”
Taraji P. Henson, Jussie’s former co-star on “Empire,” celebrated the engagement news by commenting, “MY BABIES.”
Sources tell TMZ that Jussie called off the engagement with Jabari and the two men went their separate ways. Jussie is focused on his music and acting careers, according to TMZ.
Jabari has appeared in “Tyler Perry’s House of Payne”, “The Chi” and “B-Boy Blues.”
He also appeared with Jussie in the 2024 drama “The Lost Holliday,” which Jussie directed.
Jussie came out as gay during an appearance on Ellen DeGeneres’ talk show in March 2015.
His career never recovered after he staged a homophobic attack in Chicago in January 2019. The aspiring singer claimed he was attacked by two white men wearing red MAGA hats. The men allegedly called him a gay slur and threw bleach on him.
The disgraced actor was still wearing a small clothesline looped around his neck when police arrived at his Chicago condo to investigate his claims.
Chicago police later accused Jussie of organizing a hoax with two friends. Jussie and his 2 accomplices were caught on a store surveillance video purchasing the items used in the fake attack.
Jussie was arrested and charged with filing a false police report. He was convicted on March 10, 2022, and sentenced to serve 150 days in the Cook County jail.
The Illinois Supreme Court reversed Jussie’s conviction in November 2024. He later agreed to pay a $50,000 fine to a Chicago charity.

Chris Brown Seeks Joint Custody After Diamond Brown Asks Court for Primary Custody of Their Daughter
Chris Brown is pushing back in court after Diamond Brown asked a Los Angeles judge to give her primary custody of their 4-year-old daughter, Lovely Symphani Brown.
The singer has responded to Diamond's custody request by seeking joint legal and physical custody. TMZ reported that Brown filed court documents asking for shared custody, while Diamond had proposed that he receive visitation rights instead.
According to TMZ, Brown does not agree with Diamond's request for primary custody. His response asks the court to award both parents legal and physical custody, which would give each parent a formal role in decision-making and parenting time.
The filing also disputes Diamond's request that Brown cover her legal costs. TMZ reported that Brown instead wants both sides to pay their own costs in the legal matter.
The custody dispute follows Diamond's earlier legal filing involving Lovely. HotNewHipHop reported that Diamond sought legal and physical custody of Lovely and asked that Brown receive visitation rights.
Earlier reporting also said Diamond's filing included a paternity component, even though Brown had previously acknowledged Lovely publicly. The court process now appears focused on putting custody, visitation, and financial responsibilities into a formal legal structure.
The legal dispute has played out alongside public tension between Diamond, Brown, and people around him. TMZ reported that Diamond previously accused Brown online of interfering with her dating life, while Jada Wallace, Brown's current partner, accused Diamond of keeping Lovely from him.
Those public comments have made the case feel more personal, but the court issue is narrower. A judge will decide the custody dispute based on Lovely's best interests, not social-media arguments around the adults.
Brown is also father to daughter Royalty with Nia Guzman and son Aeko with Ammika Harris. In April 2026, his partner Jada Wallace welcomed a baby boy, making Brown a father of four.
People reported that Lovely was born on Jan. 7, 2022, and that Diamond shared her birth publicly on Instagram. Brown later confirmed paternity by reposting one of Diamond's updates about Lovely.

New York Knicks fans were left disappointed after the watch party outside of Madison Square Garden was canceled for Monday's NBA Finals Game 3 against the San Antonio Spurs.
However, New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani came to the rescue, as he announced a free watch party for 5,000 fans in Bryant Park for Monday night's game. Fans can register for the watch party starting at noon ET.
The New York Police Department said in a statement Sunday that the decision to cancel the watch party outside of MSG was made in coordination with the Secret Service after it was announced that President Donald Trump would be attending Game 3.
"There will be no watch parties outside of Madison Square Garden for Game 3 only," the statement said. "This was done fully in coordination with the Secret Service because of the presidential visit. We expect watch parties at Madison Square Garden to resume for Game 4."
While the watch parties have ignited jubilant celebrations from passionate Knicks fans, they've also become a point of contention for the New York Police Department. Multiple people have been arrested amid the raucous gatherings, and the watch parties were originally canceled ahead of Game 1 of the NBA Finals before the decision was reversed.
In addition to the watch party at Bryant Park, the Knicks website said that team-sanctioned watch parties will be held at Wollman Rink in Central Park and Brooklyn Bowl. Both of them also required advanced registration and quickly reached capacity.
The Knicks will be looking to take a 3-0 series lead when they take on the Spurs on Monday night, which will be the first NBA Finals game at MSG since 1999.
