Ms. Lauryn Hill and Wyclef Jean are celebrating 30 years of the classic Fugees album The Score with a set of special live performances. The first one-night-only event reunites the Grammy Award-winning icons at the Resorts World Theatre on Friday, November 6. It will be followed by a show at the Hollywood Bowl on Sunday, November 8. The shows are a celebration of the album’s genre-defining legacy and the enduring cultural impact.
The Score was released in February 1996 and immediately turned the trio of Lauryn, Wyclef and third member Pras into global superstars. With hit singles like “Ready Or Not,” “Fu-Gee-La” and “Killing Me Softly,” it would go on to sell more than 20 million copies and earn two Grammy awards. The trio would never record another album together as the Fugees, but the success of The Score was the launchpad for each individual member’s subsequent solo successes.

Right Wing Gay Influencer Milo Yiannopoulos has been detained by ICE. Milo Yiannopoulos built a career monetizing bigotry, and newly exposed alleged texts make this racist scumbag look even uglier.
The British provocateur allegedly unloaded a sickening racist tirade upon his estranged husband, John Campbell, before ICE finally detained him.
TMZ obtained the messages from court records filed during the couple’s bitter dispute, although Yiannopoulos challenges their authenticity.
“But you are worthless to me … worthless. Stupid worthless n*****. I hope you rot in hell with your monkey ancestors.”
Yiannopoulos branded some messages “obvious fakes,” blamed Campbell for sending them and denied using the slur with hateful intent.
He also claimed Ye gave him permanent permission to use the word, a repulsive excuse that exposes his moral rot.
ICE arrested Yiannopoulos Thursday at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport, according to AllHipHop’s previous coverage.
An immigration judge issued his final removal order July 22 after Yiannopoulos failed to attend his scheduled hearing.
“On August 27, ICE arrested Milo Yiannopoulos, an illegal alien from the United Kingdom, at the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) in Kenner, Louisiana. Yiannopoulos legally entered the country on May 14, 2019, through New York City, New York. He chose to overstay his welcome in violation of our nation’s laws,” DHS said.
Yiannopoulos now faces the same merciless machinery he spent years demanding for immigrants lacking his money, platform and political connections.
“California needs ICE checkpoints at supermarket entrances, gas stations, strip malls, intersections and government buildings, with on the spot deportation for anyone who can’t prove they are in the US legally,” he wrote in June 2025.
Five days after Trump’s second inauguration, the impatient deportation cheerleader questioned why ICE had not reached 10,000 removals every day.
“If ICE has 90,000 employees, and all we are asking for is 10,000 deportations a day, that’s 9 agents per illegal. More than enough to cover investigation, apprehension and removal. What are they all waiting for?” he asked.
Yiannopoulos later demanded “total legal immunity for ICE agents when they’re on duty” and insisted Trump deport “millions and millions of people.”
“Without that, nothing else matters,” he wrote, reducing human beings to raw material for a political spectacle he expected to watch safely.
Trump’s January 2025 immigration order declares American policy requires enforcement “against all inadmissible and removable aliens.”
It also orders DHS to “ensure the detention of aliens apprehended for violations of immigration law pending … their removal from the country.”
That command now fits Yiannopoulos perfectly because his missed hearing produced a final order that ICE can execute without MAGA approval.
The crackdown resulted in 49,571 arrests and nearly 34,000 removals in July, while 51 percent of those arrested faced no criminal charges or convictions.
Yiannopoulos cannot credibly claim surprise because the administration publicly described visa violations as part of its zero-tolerance immigration policy.
DHS made the choice brutally simple: “Being in detention is a choice. The United States is offering illegal aliens $3,000 and a free flight to self-deport now. If not, you will be arrested and deported without a chance to return.”
Yiannopoulos promoted Trump during the 2016 campaign, headlined a “Gays for Trump” convention event and used Breitbart to push MAGA politics.
Trump even threatened Berkeley’s federal funding in 2017 after violent protests forced the university to cancel Yiannopoulos’ scheduled appearance.
However, Yiannopoulos never held a formal position in the Trump administration, and his MAGA loyalty repeatedly faltered whenever the movement stopped rewarding him.
“I lost everything helping to put Trump in office. My life and career were completely destroyed. Was it worth it? No. I feel utterly betrayed,” he complained after Trump’s 2020 election loss.
He later helped arrange Ye’s notorious 2022 Mar-a-Lago dinner with Trump and white nationalist Nick Fuentes, supposedly “just to make Trump’s life miserable.”
AllHipHop reported Ye rehired Yiannopoulos in 2023 as political operations director after previously removing him from the failed campaign.
His remaining MAGA access ran through figures like Ye and former Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, who employed him as an intern.
“I was there when the president came down the golden elevator. I campaigned for him for years,” Yiannopoulos wrote in March 2026.
“But I am faithful to the mission, not the man. Trump has lost his way, bought off by foreign interests.”
Trump ally Laura Loomer claimed she reported his immigration status and celebrated his detention as “a great day for America.”
Yiannopoulos will probably beg his right-wing contacts for intervention, but his fractured Trump ties and the administration’s rigid policy leave him exposed.

AllHipHop reported Ye rehired Yiannopoulos in 2023 as political operations director after previously removing him from the failed campaign.
His remaining MAGA access ran through figures like Ye and former Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, who employed him as an intern.
“I was there when the president came down the golden elevator. I campaigned for him for years,” Yiannopoulos wrote in March 2026.
“But I am faithful to the mission, not the man. Trump has lost his way, bought off by foreign interests.”
Trump ally Laura Loomer claimed she reported his immigration status and celebrated his detention as “a great day for America.”
Yiannopoulos will probably beg his right-wing contacts for intervention, but his fractured Trump ties and the administration’s rigid policy leave him exposed.
According to reports, DHS has already transferred him back to Britain.

A notice filed Friday in Manhattan federal court says So So Def, Dupri and Sony Music Entertainment resolved the case before Sony answered.
“Pursuant to Rule 41(a)(1) of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, the Plaintiffs voluntarily dismiss this action without prejudice as the parties have resolved the matter prior to joinder.”
Rule 41(a)(1), explained by Cornell Law School, gives plaintiffs one clean exit early in a federal case. The rule allows them to file a dismissal notice before the defendant answers or seeks judgment, without the judge’s permission.
That is why Sony did not have to admit, deny, or publicly fight the claims before the case closed. “Without prejudice” is the key phrase because it means the dismissal was not a win for Sony on the merits.
It keeps the door open for Dupri to sue again if the private resolution breaks or the deal does not hold. “Prior to joinder” means Sony had not yet joined the dispute by filing its formal answer to the complaint.
The filing says the parties resolved the matter, but gives no settlement amount, payment schedule or accounting fix.
The original case said Sony mishandled royalties tied to Xscape, Da Brat, Kris Kross, Jagged Edge, Usher, Mariah Carey, Bow Wow, J-Kwon and Bone Crusher.

“SME attempted to conceal all Kris Kross royalties due Plaintiffs for over 20 years in a separate royalty accounting system unknown to [So So Def]. SME pretextually claimed it was unaware of its failure to account to Plaintiffs. SME intentionally failed to account to [So So Def] to avoid paying millions of dollars to the [So So Def].”
The complaint claimed 2023 and 2024 royalty statements showed more than $33 million in foreign Kris Kross sales. Dupri said Sony still owed at least $2.2 million from Totally Krossed Out and Da Bomb.
Xscape and Da Brat had their own numbers, with Dupri claiming Sony underreported nearly $2 million from early albums.

Smith accepted a challenge to appear on the women’s “Flagrant and Funny” podcast after Champion called him out for not joining them to discuss his recent “Thumbs Down” award from the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ).
“We’ve asked Stephen A. to have you on the show. You ain’t coming on the show,” Champion said during a recent episode. “He don’t want it in real time.”
Hill added, “Uh-oh, you’re about to get us in trouble again.”
Smith responded early Friday, Aug. 28, in a video he posted on X. The ESPN host included a clip of the women’s comments, and insisted it was the first time he heard anything about the invitation.
“I just saw that,” he said. “I don’t really have much to say other than, since that’s the first invitation I’ve received because I certainly wasn’t aware of any invitation before now. Fine, I accept.”
Smith then made it clear — he wants the smoke and is currently on the women’s home turf.
“I’m here in L.A. Y’all are here. We can do this tomorrow… whatever you want,” he said. “No problem at all. I look forward to the conversation.”

The live-action series — which arrives globally on the streaming giant in 2027 — has already started filming in Atlanta for the reimagining of the 2002 Scooby-Doo movie, which also saw a sequel released in 2004.
As Outkast, André 3000 and Big Boi — with some help from fellow Dungeon Family members Sleepy Brown and Killer Mike — contributed to the 2002 Scooby-Doo soundtrack with “Land of a Million Drums,” which gained popularity across the pond, peaking at No. 46 on the U.K. Singles chart.
Raging Bull actress Cathy Moriarty also joined the Scooby-Doo: Origins cast in an unknown recurring role, like Three Stacks.

In video footage obtained by Page Six, Prince stood with the crowd and raised his right hand as fans counted down together. On three, they shouted, “Happy birthday, Michael!”
Prince kept the look simple for the occasion, wearing a black backward ball cap and a black shirt while spending time with attendees at the venue. He was also seen chatting with fans and signing autographs.
The Vegas appearance comes after Prince paid another public tribute to his father earlier this year at the Los Angeles premiere of Michael, the 2026 biopic about the singer. Prince, who served as an executive producer on the film, wore a red armband over his suit that was directly connected to his childhood memories of his dad.
“Michael Bush was the costume designer for my father; he designed the suit that I was wearing,” Prince said at the time. “And actually, the armband was made out of the fabric that my dad would always wear — the red corduroy shirt. The Camden, NJ, date will now take place on Sept. 5 at the Freedom Mortgage Pavilion, while fans in Columbia, MD, can catch her live at the Merriweather Post Pavilion on Sept. 6. Durand Bernarr, TheARTI$t, DIXSON, and WASEEL are all slated to accompany her across the two rescheduled dates.
“See you then,” Kehlani wrote in the caption. While plenty of people were thrilled to hear that the concerts would fall during Labor Day weekend, others were a little bummed that they’ll coincide with Afro+ Fest and Bryson Tiller’s “The Neo Trapsoul Tour,” both of which are also taking place in the DMV around that time.
More than anything, fans seem relieved that the Grammy-winning singer is feeling better and intends to resume her “Kehlani World Tour” in Richmond, Virginia, on Saturday (Aug. 29). Why Kehlani originally postponed her New Jersey and Maryland tour dates
In case you missed it, Kehlani shared on Wednesday (Aug. 26) that she would no longer be able to perform that night or today. “After two off days feeling completely normal, I’ve been up all night unable to swallow and in so much pain,” the “Nights Like This” hitmaker wrote on Instagram. “I just left the hospital and am not cleared to sing for the next two shows. I’m so sorry.”
She continued, “Breaks my heart to have to ever do this. I do everything I’m supposed to, to ensure my health stays up to par, and it still isn’t guaranteed. We will pick back up in Virginia.”
The “Kehlani World Tour,” which kicked off in August, arrived in support of her self-titled fifth studio album. The 17-song project notably featured Clipse, Lil Wayne, Brandy, Missy Elliott, Usher, Cardi B, and several others.
Kehlani’s health scare certainly isn’t the first time an artist has had to take a little time off while on the road — we recently reported on Lionel Richie having to sit out two nights as well. Either way, we’re wishing the Oakland native nothing but good health throughout the remainder of her trek.
