#RHOA: NeNe Leakes Wears Sheer Luar Menswear Look at NYFW
NeNe Leakes brought the girls to New York Fashion Week—and technically, she brought the boys, too. The Real Housewives of Atlanta OG hit the front row at Luar's Spring/Summer 2027 show Monday in a completely sheer black set pulled from the label's menswear collection, ditching the bra and wearing black hot pants underneath. The look put a very NeNe spin on menswear: sheer, skin-forward and impossible to miss.
Per The New York Post, the 58-year-old wore Luar's $180 Triangle Sleeve top with the brand's $200 Farmer shorts, then took the styling several steps further with glittering silver knee-high boots, dark sunglasses and one of Luar's signature circle-handle bags. Stylist Paris Chea, assisted by Brandonn St. Regis, assembled the look, while Michele Latrice and MagicMike handled Leakes' glam.
Leakes wasn't exactly interested in playing coy about the finished product. "Not Playing Fair 👊🏽🔥," she captioned an Instagram carousel from photographer Caz showing off the fit.
The comments quickly filled up, with fellow Bravo stars Melissa Gorga and Marlo Hampton among those showing love. Kash Doll kept her assessment simple: "My girllllllll."
And because no NeNe look stops at the clothes, there was the hair. Leakes finished everything with a platinum blond bob from her own Color Mane Wigs line—and gave the wig its own review while getting ready for the show.
"The bob is bobbin', honey. It's not too tight, honey! It's bobbin', weavin'," she said.

Macklemore announced he will launch the Free Palestine Tour this fall after he was removed from Ed Sheeran’s tour this month over his pro-Palestinian performance.
The “Thrift Shop” rapper took to Instagram on Monday and jokingly said his “schedule freed up a bit,” announcing three performance dates in Dublin, London and Paris next month.
“What happened to me is bigger than one artist or one stage,” he wrote. “When the billionaire class can decide which voices are allowed on stage and which ones are too dangerous to hear, everyone should be paying attention.”
The performances are part of what Macklemore named the Free Palestine Tour, and the poster said it would be him “and friends.” He said he spent the last week reaching out to other artists to work out scheduling, but no other names had been announced as of Monday.
He wrote that there has “been a collective awakening around Palestinian liberation” and the expectations of artists.
“It’s 2026. Being apolitical during a genocide doesn’t work anymore,” Macklemore said. “People are asking artists to show up, educate themselves and be in community.”

The 2026 MTV Video Music Awards took over LA on Sunday night (Sept. 27), and some of the biggest names in music gathered in the Peacock Theater to find out who would take home a Moon Person (or seven). Madonna was the telecast’s biggest winner, taking home seven prizes in total, including three onstage wins: artist of the year, best dance (her Confessions II short film) and best collaboration (“Bring Your Love” with Sabrina Carpenter).
The next big winner: Taylor Swift, who accepted the first-ever Artist Director Honors (before premiering her latest self-directed video, for her brand-new track “Patient Zero”) and returned to take home the final award of the night: video of the year for “The Fate of Ophelia”; she also won best direction for “Opalite.”
LISA took home the first prize of the night, winning best pop for “Dream” featuring Kentaro Sakaguchi, while Sienna Spiro was named best new artist after fans voted throughout the show.
Madonna came into the VMAs as the night’s leading nominee, with 13 nods, while Swift (who has won a record 30 Moon Persons) was second on the leaderboard with 11 nominations. Other top contenders: Sabrina Carpenter (nine nods); Ariana Grande (eight); Bruno Mars (six); and PinkPantheress and Zara Larsson (five each).
Hosted by Snoop Dogg, the VMAs aired live Sunday night on CBS. Performers and special honorees included Madonna opening the show; Kacey Musgraves performing a tribute to Dolly Parton; RAYE,SOMBR and Teddy Swims honoring George Michael; Nirvana receiving the Video Vanguard Award; and LISA, RAYE, Spiro, Shaboozey (with and without Gunna) and GENER8ION & Yung Lean hitting the stage.

“The internet can be brutal to women as we grow older,” Guy wrote on Instagram on September 25. “It asks us to celebrate life while criticizing every sign that we’ve lived it.”
Guy didn't pretend aging is always an easy adjustment. Instead, she rejected the idea that getting older means giving up the things that once brought someone confidence or happiness.
“Growing older brings change, and I won’t pretend every change is easy,” she continued. “But beauty, style, and joy don’t have an expiration date.”
In the Reel, Guy poses in a metallic olive-gold, one-shoulder gown with a sharply fitted bodice and sweeping floor-length skirt. Her hair is pulled into an elegant updo, while statement earrings and minimal accessories keep the focus on the dramatic silhouette.

Netflix's A Different World premiered September 24, bringing her back as Whitley Gilbert-Wayne, the character she began playing in the original NBC sitcom in the late 1980s.

Issa Rae Named Variety’s L.A. Entertainment Entrepreneur of the Year
Issa Rae was honored with the Entertainment Entrepreneur of the Year Award at Variety’s L.A. Power of Women event in Beverly Hills.
Presented by U.S. Bank Senior Executive Vice President Courtney Kelso, Rae shared her gratitude for the award. She also took a shot at men for gatekeeping in the industry.
“It is hard to feel like a powerful woman when men keep f**king everything up,” Rae said.
”Thank you to all the other amazing women for being so inspiring. I’m gonna be real. I don’t have an inspirational speech, she added.
She went on to explain why she thought she didn’t deserve to be honored.
“I’m so sorry. I just, I really don’t. And I heard they wanted to give me this award, and I was like, ‘Why? I haven’t done sh— this year. And my publicist just emailed me back a bunch of things that I’ve done this year, and was like, ‘B— just go,’ Rae said,
”And I was really honored that she took the time to write it out, and I was like, ‘Oh, maybe I do deserve this. Okay, I’ma go,’” she continued. “But then I was like, ‘F—! I gotta write a speech in three to four minutes. That’s so long.’ So then I just kind of forgot about it because I was working, and then I got distracted because the deadline was approaching, and the industry just keeps eating itself.”
Rae concluded her speech by saying, “Maybe that’s all any of us can do — is just figure out where we have some power and use it the f**k for good, please. So that’s what I’m going to do. I hope you guys do too.”

Nick Cannon is opening the doors to his complicated family life for a new Netflix docuseries—and he says viewers shouldn't expect anyone to dodge the questions that have followed his unconventional household for years.
The 45-year-old entertainer, who has fathered 12 children with six women, says the series will premiere this winter and offer an unfiltered look at how those separate households actually function. Rather than continue watching outsiders fill in the blanks, Cannon told Us Weekly he decided to put his version of the story on camera.
“People have been fascinated with my lifestyle for quite some time, so instead of letting them make up stuff, I’m gonna give you everything,” Cannon said. He described the project as “raw” and “real,” adding, “I think we’re being more open and more vulnerable.”
Getting everyone in front of the cameras wasn't necessarily an easy sell. Cannon acknowledged that some of the mothers initially questioned why they should invite even more public attention into their homes. “They were like, ‘Why are we letting cameras into our homes?’” he recalled. “I think that everybody’s very comfortable with just keeping their peace. But everybody said that they would do it for me, so I’m appreciative of that.”
The series arrives as the logistics of Cannon's family have become a subject of public discussion even among those raising his children. Earlier this month, Bre Tiesi, who shares 4-year-old Legendary Love with Cannon, pushed back against the idea that his children's mothers operate as a collective co-parenting unit.
“There is no ‘we’—we don’t balance anything,” Tiesi said on E!’s Hot Goss podcast. Although she wants Legendary to have relationships with his siblings, Tiesi said Cannon bears responsibility for facilitating them. “Nick has to step up, and he has to make an environment and support the children,” she said.
That leaves plenty of family dynamics for the Netflix cameras to explore. Cannon shares 15-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan with ex-wife Mariah Carey; Golden, Powerful and Rise with Brittany Bell; twins Zion and Zillion and daughter Beautiful with Abby De La Rosa; Legendary with Tiesi; and Onyx with LaNisha Cole. He also shares Halo with Alyssa Scott. Their son Zen died at five months old in December 2021 after being diagnosed with brain cancer.

Earlier this month, Bre Tiesi, who shares 4-year-old Legendary Love with Cannon, pushed back against the idea that his children's mothers operate as a collective co-parenting unit.
“There is no ‘we’—we don’t balance anything,” Tiesi said on E!’s Hot Goss podcast. Although she wants Legendary to have relationships with his siblings, Tiesi said Cannon bears responsibility for facilitating them. “Nick has to step up, and he has to make an environment and support the children,” she said.

While Cannon says he's “built for this,” he recognizes his family didn't necessarily choose the same level of exposure. “I’m just praying that they all handle it very well,” he said, “because it’s going to be a lot.”
As for what happens when viewers finally get inside Cannon's world, he's ready for the reaction.
