#FASHIONFAB: Snoopy in Style NYC Exhibition
Opening ahead of Fashion Week and the US Open, Snoopy in Style NYC is a 16,000-square-foot exhibition hosted by Peanuts in New York’s Meatpacking District. Opening to the public on September 2 from 10am – 6pm, the exhibition will feature never-before-seen looks for Snoopy and Woodstock dolls and artifacts from Peanuts creator Charles M. Schulz’s connection to New York City, tennis, and his personal friendship with Billie Jean King.
The exhibition unfolds across ten immersive zones, each inviting visitors into the world of Schulz (also known as Sparky) and Peanuts, exploring his enduring influence on culture. The Snoopy in Style NYC exhibition was curated by The Charles M. Schulz Museum and Research Center, featuring a gift shop by Sarah Andelman, the founder of colette (Paris, 1997-2017) and the consultancy Just an Idea. The shop will include a robust collection of Peanuts merchandise for sale including products from Aurora, Chinatown Market, C.O. Bigelow, Courting Tennis, Hotel Olympia, Inciardi Prints, Leblon Delienne, LeSportsac, L/UNIFORM, Pintrill, Sugarfina, Whatever! Makes You Happy, and many others. Also featured is Moleskine’s Hot Stamp Cart where guests can purchase Snoopy in Style Moleskine notebooks to get embossed with bespoke character art.
While Snoopy in Style NYC features dozens of design houses that are prominent today, the concept for this exhibition originated when Sparky was alive. Previous exhibitions have been featured at the Louvre in Paris in 1990, and featured the likes of Chanel, Hermès, Dior, Armani and Givenchy. Kid Cudi‘s reunion on stage with Kanye West in Chicago — which marked the pair’s first live performance together in years — was celebrated by many hip-hop fans, but not everyone was thrilled by the enthusiasm for Ye.
Ye brought Cudi out for three songs toward the end of his three-hour set at Soldier Field on Friday (Sept. 4), the guest-filled second night of two homecoming concerts. The two rappers, whose relationship spans two decades (Yeezy signed Cudi to G.O.O.D. Music in 2008, a few years after meeting him), delivered “Father Stretch My Hands, Pt. 1” and “Ghost Town,” plus “Pursuit of Happiness (Nightmare),” in one of the show’s most unforgettable moments.
Following the show, Cudi reacted to several positive comments coming through on social, from fans reveling in the surprise appearance — which appeared to be a reconciliation between the once-frequent collaborators, who’d even released a joint album in 2019 (Kids See Ghosts).
He also responded to criticism of realigning with Ye.
It’d been a minute since anyone had seen the pair together in public, as Cudi had distanced himself from Ye in recent years amid the star’s erratic rants, antisemitic remarks and hate speech, for which West has since apologized. This wasn’t their first fallout.
Cudi quoted a post from New York radio personality Peter Rosenberg on X this weekend; Rosenberg expressed disappointment that “a lot of people I love are being openly lame about Kanye” on his feed during West’s weekend in Chicago. Rosenberg continued, “I am not saying no one deserves forgiveness or empathy but this man sang Heil Hitler ONE YEAR AGO.”
“I understand ur frustration Peter, I f—s w u, but I dont really care if ur disappointed in me,” Cudi wrote in response on X on Saturday (Sept. 5).
“That man is my brother,” Cudi said of Ye. “U dont have a relationship w him like I do. Damn near 2 decades of art and friendship. U not family. So I get it. Ive been around Ye, and I can honestly say talking to him now is how it use to be when I first signed to him, but even better. He was dealing w mental health struggles for years and now hes good. Everyone deserves some grace when they family. I was the hardest on him out of anybody. I held him accountable. He apologized and it was sincere. But like I said, u not family so I get it.”
Rosenberg replied, “well i wasnt disappointed in you @KiDCuDi (i meant fans) but if you saw me running out to support an artist a year after they made a song called “all hail the klan” you would prolly feel a way. I am ALL for forgiveness and empathy but this man is being hailed as a HERO … f that. go get real help and sit down for a few years then lets talk before im going to run to put money in ur pocket.”
In 2025, Kid Cudi spoke of his fractured relationship with Ye in an interview with CBS, noting that West had said some things that “there was no coming back from.” He added, “I’m done with you. And it breaks my heart because I loved Kanye. I really loved him. He was part of my life changing and at some point, he was a really good friend, but the man that he has become … I just don’t know that guy anymore.”
Ye, who suffers from bipolar disorder, apologized for his actions in early 2026, referencing his mental health struggle. In a full-page ad taken out in the Wall Street Journal in January, Ye wrote, “You don’t think you’re sick. You think everyone else is overreacting. You feel like you’re seeing the world more clearly than ever, when in reality you’re losing your grip entirely … One of the difficult aspects of having bipolar type-1 are the disconnected moments — many of which I still cannot recall — that led to poor judgment and reckless behavior that oftentimes feels like an out-of-body-experience. I regret and am deeply mortified by my actions in that state, and am committed to accountability, treatment and meaningful change. It does not excuse what I did, though. I am not a Nazi or an antisemite. I love Jewish people.”
Over the summer, Cudi revealed they were rebuilding their friendship.

Sherri Shepherd Will Play Aladdin's Genie on Broadway
The View host will become the first woman to play the Genie in the Disney hit.
Emmy-winning talk show host, comic, and actor Sherri Shepherd—best known for co-hosting The View and subsequently hosting her own syndicated talk show Sherri—will join the Broadway company of Aladdin next month.
Shepherd will step into the role of the Genie for a limited run, October 16, 2026–January 3, 2027. Current Genie Caleb A. Barnett will remain in the company as the Genie standby during Shepherd’s run. Shepherd will also be the first woman to play the Genie in the Disney hit, which has historically cast men in the role of Aladdin's wise-cracking mentor. James Monroe Iglehart created the role on Broadway, winning a Tony for his performance.
“Joining Aladdin on Broadway is an absolute dream come true—and an incredible honor,” said Shepherd in a statement. “The Genie is such an iconic character, and I’m beyond excited to bring my own energy, humor, heart, and a little bit of magic to this role. Coco Gauff kept her bid to become world No 1 on track as she won an all-American clash to reach the US Open quarter-finals.
Gauff joked afterwards that she was “used to being the young American” but the two-time grand slam champion had the greater experience against 18-year-old Iva Jovic, the 14th seed.

Susan Sarandon Says Her Political Views Have Cost Her Roles in Hollywood
Susan still gets some roles, including her part in The Echo Chamber, and she was at the Venice Film Festival over the weekend to support that film.
During a press conference on Sunday (September 6), Susan talked about her public support for Palestine.
“I’ve still had movies taken away recently because there are agencies that are telling people not to hire me still. But that’s the power structure. I think within the people, certainly internationally, I feel welcome,” she told Deadline. “So it depends. If it’s a major studio, I think there is, not just with me but with other people, that have been told that that is impossible in terms of being able to do this film.”
Susan says that the director of The Echo Chamber “didn’t listen to the warnings.”
Susan also talked about the narrative in the U.S. about the conflict between Palestine and Israel.
“I think that the narrative has completely changed in terms of the historical relevance of Palestine and the ties of Zionists with America and our politics, that has been a major revelation for people,” she said. “How much money the United States gives to Israel? Nobody really understood that. And also, now we have voted to combine the army of the United States with the army of Israel. So there’s a lot of things that people are aware of now.”

Curry says he was told none was needed because he was only talking about the song rather than performing it. He called the whole thing terrible and said securing that license was the obvious move if anybody actually wanted money going to victims.
Then he got to the credit. Curry says he was told he would receive a production credit, and he says he worked accordingly, bringing in talent and getting people he wrote about in his book to sit down on camera. He says the promise included being grandfathered into the deal if the project ever sold. His summary of how it ended: worse than any deal he ever had with Puff.
He also says the documentary hurt his book. His position is that people saw him telling his story on Netflix and figured there was nothing left to buy.

His voice is one of the first things anybody heard about the project. Turning that into a punchline is a choice, and 50 Cent knows exactly what kind of choice it is.
What he did not do is answer the question underneath all of it. When 50 announced the project back in 2023, the stated arrangement was that proceeds G Unit Film and Television received would go to victims of sexual assault and rape. Curry says he has been waiting close to a year to see where any of that money actually landed and has gotten nothing back. A Cash App joke is not an accounting.
