#RHOA: Porsha Williams Says Cousin Londie Favors Died While On Phone With Sister Lauren
Porsha Williams gave some insight on The Real Housewives of Atlanta into when she found out her cousin, Londie Favors, had died.
On the episode from Sunday, June 29, Williams shared with co-star Phaedra Parks that Favors was on the phone with her sister Lauren when she died.
“Dealing with he loss of my cousin Londie… I’m going through a lot emotionally while being there for my family. She meant so much to all of us. So it’s pretty difficult,” Williams said in a confessional.

In the scene at Parks’ house, Lauren said, “I’m just numb. We’re like sisters. We grew up… we were babies together.”
“So you know they were on the phone,” Williams told Parks.
“She actually transionted while you were on the phone?” Parks asked Lauren.
“Yeah,” Lauren said.
In a confessional, Williams revealed, “I was at work and I got some news that Londie was in distress and within an hour or two we had lost Londie. She was just the most giving person you could ever think of.”

Favors had been featured throughout the current season of RHOA, working closely with Williams, planning events around her brand, and assisting her in her multiple ventures. Williams’ cousin was also featured on the RHOA spinoff Porsha’s Family Matters, which ran for one season on Bravo in 2022.
“God has given us strength because He knows that her mom and sister wouldn’t be able to do all this right now,” Williams said before mentioning she and her sister were planning Favors’ funeral.

Favors died in August 2024, and in the previous episode, Williams told Parks she wouldn’t be able to attend an event she had organized following news of her cousin.
“It just was so sudden — so difficult,” Williams said during a confessional. “Londie was just the most giving person you could ever think of. [She was] a loyal person, the most creative with her company. She did so much for my grandfather’s foundation. The most honest person you can ever think of. It’s just a huge loss.”

The episode wraps up with a title card: “In Loving Memory. Yolanda “Londie” Favors. 1989-2024.”

#HipHopNews: Rap Group Kneecap May Face Criminal Charges Over Politically Charged Set At Glastonbury
Kneecap ignited controversy at the Glastonbury Festival on Saturday (June 28) after delivering a politically charged set that has prompted a police investigation and potential legal consequences.
The Irish Hip-Hop trio, already under scrutiny due to member Mo Chara’s pending terrorism charge, is now being reviewed by Avon and Somerset Police for possible criminal offenses tied to their performance.

The group’s onstage remarks, which included a direct jab at UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, have drawn criticism from lawmakers and international observers.
“The prime minister of your country, not mine, said he didn’t want us to play, so f### Keir Starmer,” Mo Chara told the crowd during their set. He added, “Glastonbury, I’m a free man. This situation can be quite stressful but it’s minimal compared to what the Palestinian people are (facing).”

The BBC, which live-streamed parts of the festival, issued an on-screen warning during the performance and later confirmed it would not make the set available on demand.
The broadcaster also pulled the performance by Bob Vylan, a UK rap-punk duo, after their set included chants of “Free, free Palestine” and “death, death to the IDF.”

Bobby Vylan addressed the crowd directly, saying, “I know we’re on the BBC so we’re not going to say anything crazy, alright? But … unfortunately we have seen a strange reaction to people that come out and voice support for Palestine, even though anybody with any kind of moral compass can surely tell that what is happening in Gaza is a tragedy.”
The Israeli Embassy in the UK condemned the performances, stating, “When such messages are delivered before tens of thousands of festivalgoers and met with applause, it raises serious concerns about the normalization of extremist language and the glorification of violence.”

UK Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy has not yet commented publicly, but pressure is mounting for the government to respond. Police confirmed they are reviewing footage to determine if any laws were broken during the sets.

This isn’t the first time Kneecap has faced legal scrutiny.
In May, Mo Chara was charged with a terrorism offense after allegedly displaying a Hezbollah flag and chanting “up Hamas, up Hezbollah” during a November 2024 concert in London. Hezbollah is classified as a terrorist organization under UK law.
Mo Chara appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court in June and was released on bail, subject to certain conditions. His next court date is scheduled for August.

Beyoncé Breaks Silence On Stage Scare With Hilarious Instagram Post

Beyoncé turned a near-disaster into a viral moment after a suspended car prop malfunctioned during her Houston show.
Beyoncé turned a mid-air mishap and a dangling red convertible into viral gold during her “Cowboy Carter” tour stop at NRG Stadium in Houston on Saturday (June 28), when a suspended prop car malfunctioned and nearly sent her tumbling.

The moment, which could’ve ended in disaster, was instead flipped into a hilarious Instagram reel the following night (Sunday, June 29).
Beyoncé poked fun at the incident with a montage of clips showing her awkwardly tilted sideways in the air. The video was set to Houston rapper Paul Wall’s “Sittin’ Sidewayz” featuring Big Pokey — a fitting soundtrack for the sideways spectacle.

The glitch happened during her performance of “16 Carriages,” when the red convertible prop that was supposed to glide her over the crowd began to tip at an alarming angle.
Beyoncé, ever composed, grabbed a cable and a flagpole for balance and calmly told the crew, “Stop. Stop, stop, stop, stop.”
The music cut out, and the car was slowly lowered back to the stage. No one was hurt, and the show resumed without further problems.

Once safely on the ground, Beyoncé reassured the crowd with a smile, saying, “If ever I fall, I know y’all will catch me.”
She later posted a photo on Instagram with a simple message: “I love you, Houston.”
The singer’s production company, Parkwood Entertainment, later confirmed the incident was caused by a “technical glitch.”
The next night, Beyoncé skipped “16 Carriages” from the setlist entirely, prompting playful complaints from concertgoers online.

“Why you put 16 Carriages on Punishment??? It was the car that was misbehaving not the song,” one Instagram user wrote.
“You know you coulda performed 16 carriages,” another chimed in. “That’s not right… but I still love you.”

Drake Dragged Online After Shirtless Selfie Sparks Plastic Surgery Rumors

Drake’s shirtless selfie on Saturday drew a wave of online mockery and revived long-standing plastic surgery rumors.
Drake got clowned across social media over the weekend after posting a shirtless selfie showing off his abs, reigniting long-running plastic surgery rumors that have followed him through multiple rap beefs.

The Toronto rapper dropped the carousel on Instagram with the caption, “I’m wide awake for the nights that separate the type who get to it til they get it right from the type who just …type.”
But instead of applause, the post triggered a flood of jokes and accusations about his body being more sculpted by a surgeon than a gym.

“Boy stop playing! The only place you ran was to the surgeon,” one user commented.
Another wrote, “Ordered abs from temu n forgot to add shoulders n tri lol.” A third chimed in, “No shoulders, no biceps, deflated chest but extremely defined abs lmao.”
The online roasting follows speculation about alleged cosmetic enhancements, including alleged ab etching, a nose job and even a Brazilian butt lift.

The rumors haven’t just lived in comment sections. Kendrick Lamar took a direct shot in his diss track “Euphoria,” rapping, “Let your core audience stomach that/then tell ’em where you get your abs from.”
Rick Ross dubbed him “BBL Drizzy” and accused him of getting a nose job in his track “Champagne Moments.” Even Pusha T threw shade back in 2018 on “The Story of Adidon.”

Tyler Perry’s Second Major Problem Speaks and it's Christian Keyes, AGAIN!

Christian Keyes is talking again and this time he’s making it count.
The All the Queen’s Men creator recently took to social media criticizing how the network handled his hit series. While Keyes never mentioned exectutive producer Tyler Perry, the message was loud, clear and pointed straight at the top. And, loaded.

“It is continuously disappointing to find out that your show is coming back on the internet instead of finding out from the network,” Keyes said in a TikTok post. He added that he wasn’t even sent the official trailer.
“To see the trailer online and have to go search for [it], so I can try and download the trailer for the hit show that I created for this studio and this network instead of getting it sent when everybody else is getting theirs.”

Keyes was calling out the machine behind the scenes, but some think the white whale is Tyler Perry.
Keyes’ relationship with Perry appears to have quietly frayed. Though Perry executive produces the show, Keyes has long maintained that he created the series himself over 15 years ago. We believe this. And in this latest video, he also shared that his “created by” credit was stripped away in season two. SMH! The credit was regained after involving the Writers Guild of America. That’s a heavy move for someone operating under Perry’s shadow. I am glad he made bold moves to protect his IP.

But there is bigger drama.
Tyler Perry currently faces a multimillion-dollar lawsuit from a man accusing him of sexual harassment. The case is pending and the motivations behind it have been questioned. Some say the lawsuit is a thinly veiled attempt to out Perry as gay. Tyler Perry is not gay, he had said over and over.

Keyes never touches on the lawsuit. But the timing and tone of his statements have triggered rumors. About two years ago, Keyes hinted at dropping bombshells on someone powerful, a mentor. Many assumed was Perry. They go back to those Madea plays. Nevertheless, those revelations never came. Now, he’s once again venting. He’s checking BET and BET+, but the big boss is Perry.
Not not, because Keyes is taking his ball and going to play elsewhere. “It’s not up to the studio. It’s not up to the network. It’s up to me, thankfully,” he said. His prequel and spinoff projects will find new homes on other streaming platforms.

This saga is another case of behind-the-scenes industry politics. Keyes might have a deeper story, but not ready to tell it yet. Whatever the truth is, he seems determined to protect himself even if it means playing chess. Of course, the world wants him to flip the board over!
Keep pushing!

Diddy and his son Justin accused of luring woman to Los Angeles where she was allegedly gang-raped

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ son Justin Combs has been accused in a new lawsuit of luring a woman from Louisiana to Los Angeles, where she was allegedly gang-raped by his father and two other masked men.
The lawsuit, filed Monday in Los Angeles County Superior Court, claims Justin Combs, 31, used his father’s celebrity status to lure the woman, only identified as “Jane Doe,” to Los Angeles with promises of a TV job in 2017. Instead, she was “held prisoner for a weekend,” given drugs and alcohol, and raped, the complaint claims.

The suit was filed against Combs, his son Justin, and the music mogul’s businesses Combs Enterprises LLC and Bad Boy Entertainment, claiming sexual assault and battery, gender violence, and negligent supervision. The lawsuit demands a jury trial and payment of damages, including for “future and past lost earnings.”

Combs’ media team denied the allegations in the suit in a statement Friday, saying: “No matter how many lawsuits are filed it won’t change the fact that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted or sex trafficked anyone—man or woman, adult or minor.”
“We live in a world where anyone can file a lawsuit for any reason. Fortunately, a fair and impartial judicial process exists to find the truth, and Mr. Combs is confident he will prevail in court,” the statement continued.

In March or April 2017, Justin Combs allegedly contacted Jane Doe through Snapchat. The two messaged back and forth and had discussed her desire for a career in the entertainment industry, according to the complaint.
The woman sent Justin “risqué photos at Justin’s request,” the complaint said. That same day, Justin offered to fly her out to Los Angeles for the weekend, it said. She was living in New Orleans at the time.

Justin said that the trip to Los Angeles would be helpful for her potential career and “he would get her a position with Remote TV in Atlanta through his and his father’s connections,” the complaint said.
On April 14, 2017, Jane Doe flew to Los Angeles, was picked up with a black SUV and was taken to a house Justin called “The Glass House” in Beverly Hills, the filing said.

The complaint said Jane Doe was surprised that she and Justin remained in the home talking that night and the following day, which frustrated her as she thought they’d go out.

“When asked if they were ever going to leave, Justin abruptly said ‘no,’” the filing said.
Justin ordered them liquor and marijuana, which Jane Doe believed was laced, the complaint said. He then offered her to take various pills or poppers throughout the day, it said.
After she and Justin took the drugs, three other men arrived to the house, all wearing “masquerade masks,” the filing said.

Jane Doe recognized one of them as Sean Combs — “due in part to his stature and mannerisms but also because Justin referred to him on at least one occasion as ‘Pops,’” the filing said. She did not recognize the other two.
She was then taken to a bedroom upstairs and told, “You better let this happen. Or else,” according to the filing.

Then each man took turns raping Jane Doe as she was “drugged and incapacitated,” the complaint claimed.
“The brutal gang-rape of Plaintiff continued from Saturday evening through at least midday Sunday, with the three men continuing to take their turns abusing Plaintiff,” the lawsuit said.

On Monday, she was driven back to the airport and dropped off.
Throughout the weekend and afterward Justin “held over Plaintiff’s head the possibility of a job” that never materialized, along with the photos she had sent to him on Snapchat “which he had saved and could release at his pleasure,” the complaint said.

Jane Doe suffered severe emotional distress, fear, anxiety, physical injury and emotional injury and trauma from the ordeal, the filing said.
The complaint accuses Sean and Justin Combs of committing sexual battery against Jane Doe; alleges Combs’ businesses enabled and conspired with them to commit the battery in that Jane Doe was lured with the hope of a job; and alleges defendant Does 1 through 10 “have enabled and conspired with Combs to commit the offending sexual battery.”

The lawsuit also accuses Combs’ businesses of negligent supervision in that the entities should have had knowledge of his conduct and “did nothing to stop it,” the filing said.
The suit comes as Combs’ racketeering and sex trafficking trial in New York is underway with closing arguments to continue Friday.
Combs has faced a slew of lawsuits in past years — including one filed and later settled by ex-girlfriend and singer Cassie Ventura — alleging sex trafficking, abuse and coercion, all of which he has vehemently denied.

Combs’ camp hasn’t filed a response yet to the suit.
Tony Buzbee, an attorney for Jane Doe, said Friday: “We are proud of our client for having the courage to step forward and be heard. The details of the lawsuit speak for themselves. We will see that justice is done.

Pattern by Tracee Ellis Ross Is Bringing Your Favorite Girlfriends Back Together With New Campaign Ad
While a reboot of the cult-favorite sitcom Girlfriends isn't yet in the works, actress and producer Tracee Ellis Ross's brand Pattern Beauty is giving loyal fans the next best thing. To commemorate the 25th anniversary of the beloved television show, Pattern is getting the gang back together for its first-ever brand commercial.

“What was unique about Girlfriends that was different than Sex and the City was Sex and the City was all about their dating relationships with a girl group to discuss it with,” show creator Mara Brock Akil previously told Bazaar. “I wanted to shift it to the chosen family of sisterhood and use Joan and Toni as my Carrie and Mr. Big. It was always about that—whether or not that relationship was ever going to make it, and then letting all the other ones wrap around it. [Black women] did not have any seat at the table on Sex and the City. And although I still really enjoyed the show, I didn't see that as a rejection; I saw it as an opportunity.” Within the Black community and beyond, Girlfriends is widely beloved for its relatable representation of enduring female friendships.

The last time the cast reunited on set was in 2019 during a season six taping of the hit show Black-ish. In the new beauty campaign, directed by child and produced by ATTN: and De La Revolucion / Prettybird, Ellis Ross stars as the Chief Curltender or hair mixologist, guiding guests to the best solutions for their hair needs. Girlfriends actresses Golden Brooks, Jill Marie Jones, and Persia White each join in to showcase a distinct look while seeking their own Pattern product combinations.

“Hair cocktailing is a common practice in our community: We layer curl gels, creams, oils, and more to create a personalized formula that works best for our own hair,” Ellis Ross says in a statement. “Partnering with child, a wildly talented director who is also a member of the Pattern community, was a delight. Child brought creativity, passion, and a singular point of view to our commercial. In this spot, we wanted to celebrate the styling rituals with our cast of various textures as well as reunite my Girlfriends to show the joy that lives in our shared hair moments.”

Pattern by Tracee Ellis Ross's offerings run the gamut from cleansers, conditioners, treatments, and stylers, to hot tools and everyday maintenance essentials, like brushes, combs, and hair accessories. As the brand approaches its sixth year in the beauty space, the launch of their first-ever commercial marks the next phase of the company's juggernaut growth.

The Cobra: Baseball legend Dave Parker dies at 74

A baseball giant has taken his final swing just weeks before Hall of Fame induction.
Dave Parker, the hard-hitting, cannon-armed outfielder affectionately known as “The Cobra” for his lightning-quick reflexes and deadly accuracy, died unexpectedly on June 28, 2025, at the age of 74—just weeks before his long-awaited induction into the National Baseball Hall of Fame. His enshrinement, set for July 27, will now be a posthumous tribute to one of the game’s most dynamic and complicated stars.

Parker’s death leaves a bittersweet note during a season of celebration. After decades of waiting, he was finally elected to the Hall of Fame in December 2024 by the Classic Era Committee—a recognition that many of his peers and fans had long believed was overdue.

Parker burst onto the scene with the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1973 and quickly established himself as a powerful, five-tool player. From 1975 to 1979, he was among the most feared hitters in Major League Baseball. In 1977 and 1978, he captured back-to-back National League batting titles, and his dominant 1978 season—where he hit .334 with 30 home runs and 117 RBIs—earned him the league’s MVP Award.
He was not just an offensive powerhouse. Parker’s arm became legendary after the 1979 All-Star Game, where he gunned down runners at third base and home plate—moments viewed in highlight reels across generations.

Parker played a pivotal role in the Pirates’ 1979 World Series Championship, helping lead the “We Are Family” team to glory. Later in his career, he won a second ring in 1989 with the Oakland Athletics as a veteran presence during the “Bash Brothers” era alongside sluggers Mark McGwire and Jose Canseco. He also enjoyed successful stints with the Cincinnati Reds, Milwaukee Brewers, and California Angels, finishing his career with 2,712 hits, 339 home runs, 1,493 RBIs, and a .290 batting average over 19 seasons.

Despite his immense talent, Parker’s career faced hurdles. In the early 1980s, he struggled with injuries, weight issues, and drug use—troubles that briefly dimmed his star. But in a testament to his resilience, Parker revitalized his career after joining his hometown Cincinnati Reds in 1984. The following year, he finished second in the MVP vote, hitting .312 with 34 homers and a league-leading 125 RBIs.

While he never received more than 24.5% of the vote on the BBWAA Hall of Fame ballot and was overlooked by earlier veterans committees, his traditional statistics and larger-than-life presence finally earned him a spot in Cooperstown.
Beyond the field, Parker was a beloved figure. Diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2012, he remained active in the baseball community, continuing to inspire with his strength, wit, and humility. His passion for the game and mentorship to younger players never waned.

In 2022, he became a member of the inaugural class of the Pittsburgh Pirates Hall of Fame, a franchise he called home for 11 seasons.
The Pirates paid tribute on social media:
“We are heartbroken to learn of the passing of Hall of Famer Dave Parker. A legendary Pirate, Parker spent 11 years in a Pirates uniform, winning two batting titles, an MVP award, and a World Series Championship in 1979. The Cobra will be enshrined in the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown next month.”

Though he won’t take the stage in Cooperstown himself, Parker’s legacy will be cemented forever. His induction into the National Baseball Hall of Fame is a testament to his status as one of baseball’s most electrifying and human stars—a reminder that greatness comes not just from talent but from the courage to rise again.

On July 27, the baseball world will gather in upstate New York to honor The Cobra. Though his voice will be absent, his presence—his swagger, his thunderous bat, and his cannon arm—will loom large over the ceremony.

Rest in power, Dave Parker.

Democratic Senator Kirsten Gillibrand Goes on Islamophobic Rant Against NYC Democratic Mayoral Hopeful Zohran Mamdani

The Democrat’s rant has sparked calls for her to resign over her bigoted language.

Democratic Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (New York) went on an Islamophobic rant against New York City Democratic mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani in a radio interview on Thursday, spewing lies about Mamdani and suggesting that he would represent a threat to public safety if elected.
In an appearance on WYNC’s “Brian Lehrer Show,” the senator repeated numerous lies about Mamdani, echoing oft-repeated bigoted statements made about Palestinians and the pro-Palestine movement.
During the segment, kicked off by a call-in question by a listener, Gillibrand said that Mamdani, who is Muslim, is dangerous and supports violence, citing his refusal to condemn the phrase “globalize the intifada” and equating the words “intifada” and “jihad” to fear monger about them.

Her statements were completely removed from reality, and clearly informed by some of the worst hatred spread against Arabs, Muslims, and Palestinians in particular over the past decades. For instance, Gillibrand said that just the phrase “global intifada” — with “intifada” meaning “uprising” or “rebellion” in Arabic — is “violent and destructive.”

“It doesn’t matter what meaning you have in your brain, it is now how the word is received. When you use a word like intifada, to many Jewish Americans and Jewish New Yorkers, that means you are permissive for violence against Jews,” Gillibrand said. Her statements ignored the many times that Mamdani has denounced antisemitic violence — instead suggesting that Mamdani made an explicit call for violence when he did not.
“I would be very specific in these words, and I would say you may not use them again if you expect to represent everyone, ever again, because they are received as hateful and divisive,” she said, discounting the many Arabic speakers for whom the word simply means “uprising.”

Gillibrand was referring to recent comments made by Mamdani after he was asked to denounce the phrase “globalize the intifada.” Mamdani, who has been active in the movement for Palestinian rights, said that the phrase speaks to Palestinians’ desire for equal rights. He pointed out that the word has been politicized to incite violence against Palestinians, even though the word “intifada” was used by the Holocaust Museum in its Arabic translation for the Warsaw Uprising.

Gillibrand steamrolled over Lehrer’s attempts to correct her and rein her rant back in — even as she admitted that Mamdani has assured her that he will work to protect all New Yorkers, including Jewish people.
“I just feel compelled to say, we can find no evidence that he has supported Hamas or has supported violent jihad, as the caller was asserting,” Lehrer said. Later, he also chimed in, saying, “I think we also clarify, or he was clarifying that he never said ‘globalize the intifada.’ He was asked in an interview if he would denounce the phrase.”

But Gillibrand refused to back down. “He should denounce it. And that’s it. Period. And you can’t celebrate it, you can’t value it, you can’t lift it up,” she said, going on to reference the Hamas-led October 7, 2023, attack.
“When you hear things like intifada, when you hear things like jihad, when you hear ‘from the river to the sea,’ it is received as ‘slaughter the Jews and destroy Israel,’ period,” she said, suggesting that the mere use of two Arabic words is violent.

Never once did she acknowledge the Muslim and Arab communities that she represents as senator of New York, who may feel alarmed by her blatant Islamophobia and anti-Palestinian bigotry. Directly following her comments, the conversation shifted to President Donald Trump’s strikes on Iran, which Gillibrand criticized for being unauthorized by Congress but praised for their supposed strength.

Many commentators noted the shocking nature of Gillibrand’s bigotry, with some calling for her to resign.
“I think she should resign for falsely smearing [Zohran Mamdani] as a terrorist,” said Zeteo Editor-in-Chief Mehdi Hasan. “He has never invoked a ‘global jihad’. This is a nasty, Islamophobic racist smear from a sitting Dem senator.”

After a recording of the interview spread widely on X, Gillibrand’s communications director claimed in a post that the senator “misspoke.” “She also highlighted that Mr. Mamdani assured her that, if elected, he would protect Jews and all residents of NYC,” her spokesperson said.
But Gillibrand delivered her rant with confidence, without stuttering or hesitation, and went on for nearly six minutes. While she did offer scant acknowledgement of Mamdani’s commitment to equal rights for all, those comments were nestled in between other parts of her rant.

Gillibrand joins a large chorus of those on the right who spewed Islamophobia after Mamdani’s landmark win on Tuesday, inciting violence against the Muslim politician.
This bigotry has been taken to an extreme by some Republicans, with one, Rep. Andy Ogles (R-Tennessee), calling Mamdani a bigoted nickname while calling on him to be denaturalized and deported on Wednesday. Ogles, in a letter to the Trump administration, also fear mongers about the phrase “globalize the intifada,” similarly likening it to a call for “terrorism.”

Chris Brown Wants People to Stop Comparing Him to Other Artists: 'I Do Not F**k With Celebrities’
Chris Brown has let it be known that he isn't a fan of being compared to other artists, claiming that he doesn't "fuck with celebrities."
On Friday (June 27), the R&B singer, who's currently headlining the Breezy Bowl Tour, posted an Instagram Story with a lengthy statement alleging that he's excluded from music industry circles. The two-time Grammy winner also added that he's built himself from the ground up over the course of two decades.

"I wish yall stop comparing me to other [artists] and saying me vs someone else," he wrote. "Until one of these artists do all this shit by themselves with no help and the media constantly fucking with them, then come holla at me. I’m trying to feed my family! I could give a fuck about the next artist and what they doing!"

Brown then went on to say that he doesn't "fuck with celebrities," adding that he's "not welcome in [their] circles."
"BREEZY BOWL IS DEDICATED TO THE FANS WHO ACTUALLY WANNA BE THERE!" he wrote. "FUCK EVERYTHING ELSE! I BEEN OVERLY BUSTING MY ASS FOR THE LAST 20 years and I understand I will never be recognized for nothing more than drama! So miss me with dat shit please!"

Although Brown didn't name the artists he's likened to, his fans speculated that the "drama" concerns his history of arrests and domestic violence. Last week, Brown appeared in court and pleaded not guilty to a grievous bodily harm charge, stemming from an alleged 2023 assault in a London nightclub.
With support from Bryson Tiller and Summer Walker, Brown's Breezy Bowl European dates continue until July 5 before resuming in North America on July 30.

Pix 11 reports that Jonaiki Martinez-Estrella, a member of the Trinitarios gang, was found dead in his cell at Coxsackie Correctional Facility at around 1:16 p.m. on Friday. His cause of death is not yet known.

The 31-year-old was serving a sentence of 25 years to life with the possibility of parole after being found guilty of second-degree murder in the death of 15-year-old Lesandro “Junior” Guzman-Feliz. The Trinitarios gang had been accused of killing Guzman-Feliz in 2018.
In 2019, Martinez-Estrella was originally sentenced to life without parole after being convicted of first-degree murder, which included details of the “torture” inflicted on the teen. Martinez-Estrella was also convicted of wounding Guzman-Feliz in the neck, which killed him.

Later, in 2023, an appellate court overturned the first-degree murder conviction after disagreeing with the torture detail, and Martinez-Estrella was resentenced to second-degree murder in May 2025.
On June 20, 2018, four cars full of Trinitarios gang members pursued Guzman-Feliz on the street, wrongly thinking he was part of a rival gang. When the teenager attempted to hole up in a bodega, he was dragged outside and assaulted on the sidewalk in the Bronx. He found himself outside a local hospital, where he collapsed and bled out.

At least 13 Trinitarios members have been imprisoned in connection with the 15-year-old’s death, with several being sentenced to 25 years to life. Some accepted plea bargains in exchange for a lesser conviction of manslaughter.

#BoxOfficeNews: ‘F1’ zooms to $144m global box office debut; ‘M3GAN 2.0’ disappoints with $17m
Apple delivers biggest ever opening with ‘F1’
Apple Original Films is well on track to deliver its biggest ever box office hit with an estimated $144.0m global launch for F1 (aka F1: The Movie), released with distribution partner Warner Bros. That number splits: $55.6m in North America and $88.4m for 78 international markets.

Previous aspiring blockbusters from Apple have included Ridley Scott’s Napoleon ($221.4m lifetime worldwide according to available data) and Martin Scorsese’s Killers Of The Flower Moon ($158.8m).
The global popularity of Formula One motorsport is helping F1 reach audiences across multiple regions including the Middle East, Europe, Latin America and Asia-Pacific. The film was the top US title at the weekend in 74 of its 78 international markets.

UK/Ireland (an estimated $9.2m) led the international pack, just ahead of China ($9.0m). Next come Mexico ($6.7m), France ($5,4m), Australia ($5.0m), South Korea ($3.7m), Germany ($3.4m), Japan ($2.8m) and India ($2.8m). United Arab Emirates, where the film climaxes at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, comes next with an estimated $2.7m, ahead of both Italy ($2.4m) and Spain ($2.3m).
Premium formats are a natural fit for F1, and Warner Bros reported an estimated $27.7m global haul for the film on Imax – 19% of the total. In China, $3.8m from the Imax network represents 43% of the territory’s opening number.

Previous outcomes for films within the motorsport genre include James Mangold’s Ford V Ferrari (aka Le Mans ’66), with a lifetime of $226.3m worldwide in 2019, and Ron Howard’s Rush, with $97.0m in 2013.

‘M3GAN 2.0’ debut falls short of first film
Lightning has failed to strike twice with the worldwide opening of Universal/Blumhouse’s M3GAN 2.0, beginning with a disappointing estimated $17.2m – comprising $10.2m in North America and $7.0m across 80 international markets.
That compares with a $40.2m number for original film M3GAN’s first weekend of wide play in January 2023 – and in substantially fewer international territories at that stage. M3GAN went on to achieve an $180.1m worldwide total, according to available data.

Mexico, with an estimated $1.2m, is the only international territory to gross $1m with M3GAN 2.0 at the weekend. Next come UK/Ireland ($689,000), Brazil ($370,000), France ($311,000) and Australia ($282,000).
The sequel sees original director Gerard Johnstone return, also earning screenplay credit this time (from a story by him and M3GAN scribe Akela Cooper).
In a play inspired by The Terminator sequel Terminator 2: Judgment Day, this time around the titular artificially intelligent child’s companion must play saviour to mankind, after the original AI technology is used to create android weapon AMELIA, who goes rogue.

Rihanna's father Ronald Fenty's cause of death revealed
Ronald Fenty, Rihanna’s father, died from respiratory failure, pancreatic cancer, aspiration pneumonia, and other ailments.
The two had a complicated relationship but reconciled in later years, as Rihanna shared in a past interview.
His death highlights the emotional backdrop to Rihanna’s growing family and evolving personal journey.

In May, Rihanna’s father, Ronald Fenty, sadly passed away at age 70. Now, on Thursday (June 26), the official cause of death has been revealed.
According to a death certificate obtained by TMZ, Ronald died from a combination of respiratory failure, pancreatic cancer, and aspiration pneumonia. He was admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles late last month, and according to the document, acute renal failure and acute tubular necrosis were additional contributing factors to his death.

Ronald left behind six children. He had Rihanna and her two younger brothers, Rorrey and Rajad, with his ex-wife Monica Braithwaite before they divorced in 2002. Their family lived in Barbados, the “Diamonds” singer’s home, before later relocating to the United States. According to People, Ronald also had three other children from previous relationships: Samantha, Kandy, and Jamie.

Rihanna and her father’s relationship over the years prior to his passing
Like many father-daughter relationships, Rihanna and Ronald had their share of highs and lows. The Grammy-winning singer notably spoke out against her dad after he talked to the press about the 2009 assault she experienced from her then-boyfriend Chris Brown.

Years later, though, the two found common ground. In a sit-down interview with Oprah Winfrey, Rihanna revealed that they reconciled. "I couldn’t separate him as a husband from him as a father… He taught me everything, and as awful as he was to my mom, at times, it didn’t compare to how great he was as a father," she shared. "I had to come to terms with that, and I was able to close that gap with him.”
So far, Rihanna hasn’t made a public statement about her father’s death. As fans know, the singer is currently expecting her third child with ASAP Rocky. The couple welcomed their first son, RZA, in 2022, followed by Riot in 2023.

Anne Burrell's Final Season of 'Worst Cooks In America' Gets Food Network Premiere Date

Anne Burrell‘s final appearance on Food Network is coming this summer. The late host, who passed away unexpectedly earlier this month, will return for a new season of Worst Cooks In America with Gabe Bertaccini, and the network has revealed when it will premiere.

Dubbed Worst Cooks in America: Talented and Terrible, the upcoming season is set to debut on Monday, July 28th at 9pm ET/PT on Food Network.
In the season premiere episode, “chefs Anne Burrell and Gabe Bertaccini have their work cut out for them as they attempt to turn a bunch of culinary train wrecks into kitchen stars, but first, they need to know what they are up against. The recruits kick things off with their signature showstopper dish, and in the main dish challenge, they tackle the ultimate test: recreating the chefs’ “winner winner chicken dinner.” Those with promise move on while the rest face elimination. Across the season, with guidance from Anne and Gabe, the recruits will tackle restaurant classics, try to master global cuisines, and compete in the fan-favorite Remote Control Chef challenge, in their bid to be the best of the worst.”

The new season of Worst Cooks in America comes a month after Food Network honored Anne this past week with a special programming block, re-airing episodes of Guy’s Grocery Games and Worst Cooks in America: Worst of the Worst.
“Anne Burrell was a one-of-a-kind talent whose loss is being deeply felt by family, friends and fans,” Betsy Ayala, Head of Content, Food, Warner Bros. Discovery, shared in a statement. “With these special programming events, we hope to honor Anne and celebrate her impact on Food Network and beyond, and to offer fans a way to remember her passion and culinary prowess that ran through everything she did.”

It was recently revealed that the late chef’s death is now being investigated as a possible drug overdose.

Charlize Theron Jokingly Shares Harsh Opinion of Bezos Wedding's Celeb Guests: 'They Suck'
Charlize Theron has some harsh words to say about the celebs who attended Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s wedding in Italy this weekend.
The Oscar-winning actresses hosted the fifth annual Block Party for her Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project charity over the same weekend and she joked about not getting an invite to the wedding.

Charlize hosted her star-studded event on Saturday night (June 28) on the Universal Studios backlot in Los Angeles and she gave kudos to the celebs who showed up for her event instead of the wedding.
“I think we might be the only people who did not get an invite to the Bezos wedding. But that’s OK because they suck and we’re cool,” she said during her speech (via THR).

Charlize also got political.
She told the crowd she was grateful they were “taking the time to be a part of this, especially when the world feels like it’s burning because it is. Here in Los Angeles, in the U.S. and across the globe, we’re moving backwards fast. Immigration policy has destroyed the lives of families, not criminals; women’s rights are becoming less and less every day; queer and trans lives are increasingly being erased; and gender-based violence is on the rise. This isn’t just policy, it’s personal.”

“Yeah, f–k them,” she added as the audience applauded.
If you didn’t know, Charlize was actually deported from the United States at the age of 19 when she overstayed her work visa. She eventually became a U.S. citizen in 2007.

2 killed in Idaho after firefighters ambushed by gunfire, suspected gunman found dead

The suspected gunman who fatally ambushed firefighters in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, on Sunday has been found dead, according to the county's sheriff.
Responding SWAT team members located a deceased male on Canfield Mountain with a firearm nearby, the Kootenai County Sheriff's Office said in an update Sunday evening.

This comes after an hourslong, multi-agency manhunt in the area. The ambush on Sunday left two people dead and another injured, gunfire erupting as firefighters responded to a brush fire on the mountain.
Kootenai County Sheriff Robert Norris said during a press briefing that the two fatalities were fire personnel -- one from the Coeur d'Alene Fire Department and the other from Kootenai County Fire Department.

"This was a total ambush," Norris said. "These firefighters did not have a chance."
The injured individual, who suffered a gunshot wound in the attack, was brought to the Kootenai Health Hospital, the medical center confirmed to ABC News.

The incident unfolded on Sunday afternoon, police said. Norris said the first report regarding the small brush fire was received at 1:21 p.m. Around 2 p.m., firefighters reported they were being shot at.
Some 300 law enforcement officers gathered at the scene, some of whom exchanged gunfire with the suspect, Norris said. Responding authorities received offers of help from the White House and FBI Director Kash Patel, the sheriff added.

At 6:30 p.m., those on the scene were told that the suspect should be neutralized as soon as possible. The notification that the suspect was dead was received at 7:40 p.m., Norris said. Law enforcement recovered the body before the fire spread to the spot, the sheriff said.
Based on the trajectory of fire and the weapon found close to the suspect's body, Norris said officials believe there was only one shooter.
Law enforcement is investigating whether the fire could have been intentionally set in order to lure first responders to the scene, Kootenai County Sheriff's Lt. Jeff Howard told ABC News.

The shelter-in-place order has been lifted for Canfield Mountain Trailhead and the surrounding area, but residents are advised to monitor for updates on the ongoing fire.
Idaho Gov. Brad Little called the incident a "heinous direct assault on our brave firefighters."
"Multiple heroic firefighters were attacked today while responding to a fire in North Idaho," Little wrote in a post on X. "I ask all Idahoans to pray for them and their families as we wait to learn more," he added.

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem has been briefed on the shooting, a DHS official told ABC News.
