RZA has claimed that his fellow Wu-Tang Clan legend, GZA, is the greatest MC of all time.
Speaking on Drink Champs, the iconic rapper and producer was asked to compare Nas and GZA, which he was reluctant to do.He said: “In which way? They’re both very powerful brothers.” RZA then expanded his thoughts by saying: “For MC-ing, my favorite, best MC is the GZA. I don’t think no MC could beat the GZA. I think what GZA has written for hip-hop, no other MC can compare.”
He then compared the “Liquid Swords” titan against various other rappers: “Even if you go look at Rakim, who is one of the greatest, to most people, one of the greatest. Nas is one of the greatest. If you go look at what GZA offered to hip hop, look at what he spawned. He spawned me, Meth, Rae, Ghost — these are all from GZA, the enlightener.”

While all members of the Clan will be in the game, it has not been confirmed if any of the group will be playable characters.
The Wu are currently on their final ever tour, which kicked off earlier this month and will run for 27 dates across North America.
RZA shared a statement about the tour.
“Wu-Tang Clan has shown the world many chambers throughout our career; this tour is called ‘The Final Chamber,’” he began. “This is a special moment for me and all my Wu brothers to run around the globe together one more time and spread the Wu swag, music, and culture. Most importantly to touch our fans and those who have supported us throughout the years.
“On this tour we’re playing songs we’ve never played before to our audience and me and our production team have designed a Wu-Tang show unlike anything you’ve ever seen. And to top it off we’ve got the amazing Run the Jewels on our side.”

Braindead Mother To Be Taken Off Of Life Support Days After Giving Birth
A Georgia woman who has been braindead since February just gave birth to a baby boy via C-section, her family has shared with 11 Alive News.
Her mother, April Newkirk, told the outlet that Adriana Smith delivered her baby boy, named Chance, prematurely Friday, June 13, around 4:41 a.m. by emergency Cesarean section. The newborn weighs about 1lb, 13oz, and is in NICU. “He’s expected to be OK,” Newkirk said. “He’s just fighting. We just want prayers for him. Just keep praying for him. He’s here now.”

The grandmother is now preparing to say goodbye to her daughter, who will soon be taken off of life support. She remained on life support while braindead due to her pregnancy, as Georgia’s House Bill 481, also known as the LIFE Act, does not allow abortions after cardiac activity is detected, around six weeks into pregnancy. Smith suffered her medical emergency — linked to blood clots in her brain — at eight weeks pregnant. Smith was declared brain dead on February 19.
“It’s kind of hard, you know,” Newkirk said through tears. “It’s hard to process…I’m her mother. I shouldn’t be burying my daughter. My daughter should be burying me.”
“If I could say one more thing to her, I guess I would tell her that I love her and that she was a great daughter,” she added. See the full report below.

Beyoncé praises Paul McCartney’s legendary songwriting gift at London show

The Texas Hold ‘Em hitmaker wowed the London crowd with her cover of Beatles 1968 classic Blackbird – which she recorded for her Grammy winning country record Cowboy Carter – at her final of six shows at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Monday night (16.06.25). The stadium performances marked a historic moment for both the venue and the artist, creating an unforgettable experience for fans.
“Thank you, Sir Paul McCartney, for writing one of the best songs ever made. Every time I sing it I feel so honored. And it is a full circle moment to wear your beautiful daughter’s design,” Beyoncé wrote on Instagram alongside a picture of her wearing a Blackbird-themed ensemble designed by Macca’s fashion designer daughter Stella McCartney. The post quickly went viral, showcasing the powerful connection between music and fashion within the McCartney family legacy.
“Thank you, London, for creating unforgettable memories for me and my family. Holla at ‘ya when I come on tour again! (sic)” The London performances attracted international audiences, cementing the city’s reputation as a premier destination for world-class entertainment.
“I am so happy with @beyonce’s version of my song ‘Blackbird’. I think she does a magnificent version of it and it reinforces the civil rights message that inspired me to write the song in the first place,” McCartney, 82, told the ‘Single Ladies’ hitmaker, 43, she did a “killer version” of Blackbird. The Beatles legend’s enthusiastic endorsement highlights the mutual respect between these musical icons from different eras.
Urging his legion of fans to go and give it a listen upon its release in 2024, he penned on Instagram: “I think Beyoncé has done a fab version and would urge anyone who has not heard it yet to check it out. You are going to love it!” The crossover appeal of the cover demonstrates how timeless songs can find new audiences through innovative interpretations.
“I spoke to her on FaceTime and she thanked me for writing it and letting her do it. I told her the pleasure was all mine and I thought she had done a killer version of the song. When I saw the footage on the television in the early 60s of the black girls being turned away from school, I found it shocking and I can’t believe that still in these days there are places where this kind of thing is happening right now. Anything my song and Beyoncé’s fabulous version can do to ease racial tension would be a great thing and makes me very proud,” he continued. The personal conversation between these artists reveals the deep emotional connection both share with the song’s message of hope and resilience.
The collaboration represents a significant moment in music history, bridging generational gaps while addressing ongoing social issues. McCartney’s original composition has long been celebrated for its acoustic simplicity and profound meaning, making it an ideal choice for reinterpretation by contemporary artists.
Beyoncé‘s decision to include Blackbird on her country album Cowboy Carter demonstrates her artistic versatility and commitment to honoring musical traditions while pushing creative boundaries. The Grammy-winning record has been praised for its innovative approach to country music and its inclusion of diverse musical influences.
The Stella McCartney fashion element adds another layer to this artistic collaboration, showcasing how creative families can work together across different mediums. Music critics have noted that Beyoncé‘s version maintains the spiritual essence of the original while bringing her own vocal power and emotional depth to the performance. The acoustic arrangement allows her voice to shine while respecting the song’s minimalist beauty.
The London performances have been hailed as career-defining moments for Beyoncé, with critics praising her ability to seamlessly blend different musical genres and eras. Her interpretation of Blackbird has been particularly celebrated for its authenticity and emotional resonance.

Tyler Perry denies claims in $260M lawsuit over sexual assault claims by actor in his shows
Tyler Perry denies claims in $260M lawsuit over sexual assault claims by actor Last week, a lawsuit was filed against the actor and filmmaker on Friday, June 13, by Derek Dixon, who plays the character, Dale, in Perry's show, "The Oval."
Tyler Perry is being sued for $260 million over sexual assault claims, which he has denied.
Last week, a lawsuit was filed against the actor and filmmaker on Friday, June 13, by Derek Dixon, who plays the character, Dale, in Perry's show, "The Oval."
In the complaint, Dixon alleges "a sustained pattern of workplace sexual harassment, assault, and retaliation perpetrated by Tyler Perry" and is suing the filmmaker for alleged quid pro quo sexual harassment, work environment harassment and more.
The lawsuit alleges Perry promised Dixon "career advancement and creative opportunities," only to "subject him to escalating sexual harassment, assault and battery, and professional retaliation when Mr. Dixon did not reciprocate Mr. Perry's unwanted advances."
According to the lawsuit, Dixon and Perry met in 2019 while Dixon worked for an event company that was hired to plan the opening party for Tyler Perry Studios. Dixon claims he was assigned a role at the party that "required frequent conversation with Tyler Perry." According to the lawsuit, the "Madea" filmmaker and Dixon exchanged phone numbers at the end of the party and Perry began asking the then-aspiring actor about his goals.
The lawsuit states that Perry cast Dixon in his show, "Ruthless," and began sending Dixon "strange and untowardly" messages.
In January 2020, the lawsuit alleges Perry invited Dixon to his home in Douglasville County, Georgia, where they drank alcoholic drinks and had "friendly" conversation.
The lawsuit continues that at the end of the night, Perry told Dixon not to drive home and offered Dixon the guest room in his home. The lawsuit alleges Perry assaulted Dixon that night.
According to the lawsuit, following the assault, Dixon tried to ignore Perry's calls or texts, which became more aggressive "until finally Perry offered Dixon a part in a new show called 'The Oval.'" According to the lawsuit, Dixon "put up" with Perry's comments due to fear over his role in the show being cut.
"Dixon immediately understood that his job security depended on his 'relationship' with Perry," the lawsuit states. "From this point on, Dixon worked with the constant fear of losing his job if he did not engage with and endure Perry's sexual harassment."
Things allegedly escalated between Dixon and Perry after they filmed the episode where Dixon's character was shot four times, "indicating a seeming end to his role on the show and his termination from the job."
Perry had invited Dixon to his trailer for drinks. The lawsuit states that after he asked Dixon if he was attracted to him and other inappropriate questions, Perry allegedly assaulted Dixon when he was about to leave the trailer.
"As soon as Derek Dixon left the trailer following Perry's violent assault, Dixon became severely nauseous and extremely anxious about his job, careers and livelihood," the lawsuit states.
Another incident took place on Perry's private island in the Bahamas, where the cast was having a party, the lawsuit alleges.
By December 2020, Dixon began "feeling depleted" due to Perry's "continued pattern of sexual harassment," according to the lawsuit. "The assaults and harassment began manifesting in his physical health and Mr. Dixon had no one to turn to."
The complaint alleges that as the sexual harassment continued through the beginning of 2021, Dixon was prescribed an antidepressant for the stress he began experiencing.
In June 2021, Dixon claimed he was invited by Perry to his house again to discuss the pilot for Dixon's show, "Losing It." At the meeting, Dixon alleges he was sexually assaulted again.
Dixon decided to move to Santa Monica, California, in or around January 2023, allegedly "to put some distance between himself and Perry." But the lawsuit states that the "quid pro quo harassment and attempts to cover up the sexual assault by promising a show continued."After dangling the promise of producing Dixon's show multiple times, Dixon realized in 2024 that Perry was doing so in an effort to prevent Dixon "from exposing the dark side of Tyler Perry," the suit claims.
When reached for comment, attorneys for Dixon told ABC, "At this point Mr. Dixon has no comment. We believe the complaint speaks for itself."
In response to the lawsuit, Matthew Boyd, an attorney for Perry and TPS Production Services, LLC, said, "This is an individual who got close to Tyler Perry for what now appears to be nothing more than setting up a scam. But Tyler will not be shaken down and we are confident these fabricated claims of harassment will fail."

Angel Reese becomes the WNBA’s second-youngest player to land a triple-double
Angel Reese made WNBA history as the second-youngest player to record a triple-double, trailing only Caitlin Clark.
Her 11 points, 11 assists, and 13 rebounds helped lead the Chicago Sky to a 78-66 win over the Connecticut Sun.
Reese’s sophomore season includes multiple milestones, like being the fastest to 500 points and 500 rebounds.
Another game, another record for Angel Reese. During the Chicago Sky’s big win over the Connecticut Sun on Sunday (June 15), at 23 years old, she became the second-youngest player in WNBA history to record a triple-double.
The Chicago Sky sealed a 78-66 victory, with Reese putting up 11 points, 11 assists, and 13 rebounds. “We made a lot of great shots tonight, so I knew it was coming,” she said in a postgame press conference.
"I was a passer, and I could've been a passer all my career," the Chicago Barbie told reporters moments earlier. "I came out of high school as the No. 1 wing, and I'm trying to get back to that — trying to get back to being super-versatile. And [coach] Tyler [Marsh] made that emphasis early on in the season."
Notably, the only other WNBA player to notch a triple-double this season is Caitlin Clark, who posted 20 points, 10 assists, and 10 rebounds against the Chicago Sky on May 18. The Indiana Fever point guard also happens to be the youngest player in league history to do so, with two triple-doubles at 22 years of age.
Sunday night’s win marked the Chicago Sky’s third of the 2025 regular season, having already secured two victories against the Dallas Wings. Despite a challenging start for the team, Reese has been putting up numbers on the board left and right. In May, she became the fastest player in WNBA history to hit the 500-point, 500-rebound milestone in just 38 games.
On top of that, according to CBS Sports, Reese was also the fastest player to ever hit 30 career double-doubles. That’s, of course, coming off an all-time rookie record of 26 last season.
It’s a busy week ahead for the Chicago Sky. They’re set to face the Washington Mystics on Tuesday (June 17), followed by a rematch with the Phoenix Mercury on Saturday (June 21).

Gabrielle Union Shares How Tisha Campbell Stepped In and Saved Her Life During Darkest Time

Gabrielle Union recently opened up with raw emotion about a deeply personal chapter in her life and revealed the incredible role actress Tisha Campbell played in pulling her through it. Speaking on The Black Girl Bravado Podcast, Union gave powerful insight into how true sisterhood showed up for her when she needed it most.
While Union chose not to share every detail, she made it clear that Campbell didn’t just offer casual support. She delivered the kind of love and presence that Union says ultimately saved her life.
“I will always give Tisha her flowers,” Union said with emotion in her voice. “There was a time when I didn’t know how I was going to make it through. She saw me really saw me and she acted. That kind of love and care is rare.”
Union spoke on the difference between people who say they care and those who prove it when it counts. Campbell did the latter in full.
“She didn’t just check in she showed up and she stayed. She reminded me that I was worthy of love of support and of being here.”
The Being Mary Jane star went on to say that what she experienced with Campbell redefined her understanding of friendship and community. It was deeper than just having someone to share good times with. It was about having someone who holds you up when you feel like falling.
“It’s one thing to have friends you party with but it’s another to have someone who shows up when your life is on the line.”.Gabrielle Union Shares How Tisha Campbell Stepped In and Saved Her Life During Darkest Time

Quavo Hosts Second Annual Rocket Summit in Atlanta to Address Gun Violence
Quavo returned to his hometown of Atlanta to host the second annual Rocket Summit, an event focused on addressing gun violence through community-driven solutions.
The summit, held at the College Football Hall of Fame, was organized by Quavo and The Rocket Foundation in honor of his late nephew and fellow Migos member, Takeoff. The event also coincided with Gun Violence Prevention Month.
This year’s summit brought together leaders in the field, survivors, youth, and local advocates. The day began with a VIP luncheon and was followed by panels and breakout sessions centered on reducing community violence and building safer neighborhoods
The opening panel, titled The Urgency of Now, featured experts including Marcus Ellis of Cities United, Angela Ferrell-Zabala of Moms Demand Action, Amber Goodwin of Community Justice, and Dr. Chico Tillmon of the CVI Leadership Academy. Moderated by Greg Jackson, President of The Rocket Foundation, the discussion emphasized the need for long-term investment in community violence intervention.
A second panel, We Are the Change, highlighted the efforts of grassroots leaders like Leonard Dungee of H.O.P.E. Hustlers and Aaliyah Strong of Tyme to Thrive. They shared insights on how lived experience and community ties are essential to addressing the root causes of violence.
Breakout sessions allowed participants to discuss solutions in smaller groups, focusing on topics like youth engagement, legal support, and policy change. Mental health support was also available on-site.
The summit closed with a keynote conversation featuring Quavo and podcast hosts Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson. Quavo stressed the importance of healing and compassion in the fight against gun violence, reinforcing his commitment to creating a safer future for Atlanta and beyond.

Alan Ritchson Shares Photos & Video of Surprise Visit From President Joe Biden on 'Reacher' Set

Alan Ritchson got an unexpected visit by President Joe Biden on the set of Reacher season four!
The 42-year-old star of the Prime Video action series was on set filming on Monday (June 16) in Philadelphia when the former President, his wife Dr Jill Biden and son Hunter Biden crashed the set while going out for breakfast.
“So our Reacher set got in the way of these legends,” he captioned his post, which showed photos and video with the Bidens. “Was a privilege and honor to meet the Biden family. They couldn’t have been more lovely. Kind, joyful, gracious and present.”
Alan revealed, “We chatted briefly about simple stuff, like string theory and quantum entanglement. Then Joe beat me at arm wrestling. All in a day’s work.”
Per local outlets, the Bidens were just strolling about Rittenhouse Square after grabbing breakfast at a restaurant called Parc, which Reacher was actually filming just outside of.
“It was just something very bizarre that I never could have imagined, both things were happening at the same time,” photographer Hugh E. Dillon told CBS News Philadelphia.
The photographer noted he was watching Reacher film a police chase scene when a black SUV pulled up.
“Out walked these men, that I thought they were actors, but then the entire cast and crew started clapping and cheering. Then someone said, ‘We love you, Joe, we love you!’” he dished. “I thought it was the end of the scene — that they were wrapping for the day. And no, it was, you know, Joe Biden decided he needed some breakfast at Parc Rittenhouse.”

Suge Knight Says Diddy’s Peers Have Been Silent About Sex Trafficking Trial Because ‘They Are So Scared’
Suge Knight has continuously shared his opinions about Diddy‘s ongoing trial and recently spoke in more detail about why so many of Puff’s supporters are going silent.
On Monday, Suge Knight called in for a lengthy phone call with host Aubrey O’Day, who has been covering the ongoing trial as part of Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes’ iHeartRadio podcast Covering the Diddy Trial.
Knight covered a lot of subjects, including the murder of 2Pac and his relationship to Puff. The former Danity Kane singer then questioned why so many of Diddy’s peers from the ’90s haven’t spoken out about the subject, including Mary J. Blige, Ma$e, Faith Evans and other Bad Boy recording artists.
“The reason why they’re so silent is this: They are so scared,” Suge admitted. “They are slaves. These people are slaves to these people.”
He added that Diddy’s associates are mostly fearful of the business and personal repercussions that may happen. “They’re not scared of the guns and the knives. They’re not scared of the streets. They’re scared of the people in the suites,” Knight said.
Elsewhere in the pod, Suge Knight called out Ray J for claiming earlier this month that Knight sexually assaulted men. While he denied the allegations, he added the “Sexy Can I” singer desperately needs help.
“Now let’s go to the part of this and reason why I brung up Ray J,” Knight continued. “I got love for Ray J. I don’t care for what Ray J say. You know, at the end of the motherf—ing day, Ray is lost. He need help. So let’s not pick on Ray J.”

India.Arie Breaks Silence on Decades of Abuse by Father

*On Father’s Day, singer-songwriter India.Arie and her mother, Joyce Simpson, hit up social media to share a painful family story. In a candid Instagram post, the artist reflected on her complex relationship with her father, Ralph Simpson, and her mother spoke openly about alleged abuse that has haunted their family.
India.Arie noted that she has spent years healing from her father’s impact. “I’m not posting this today to tell you that I’m struggling, because I’m not,” she wrote. “I’ve spent my entire adult life working through my issues with my father. I’ve come a long way.”
Joyce’s powerful voice recording, shared via India’s Substack, detailed the trauma she alleges stemmed from Ralph, a former professional basketball player in the ABA and NBA during the 1970s, not to be confused with the Houston Rockets’ Ralph Sampson.
Joyce detailed how Ralph was physically and sexually abusive and had assaulted their daughter. “I’ve kept this secret for over 45 years,” she said, describing how she allowed Ralph to maintain a public facade as a father while hiding his actions.
She referenced India’s song “Get It Together,” which reflects the abuse the artist endured as a child, and revealed the toll it took, including canceled tour dates for medical care.
“I watched India for years on the national, international stages before and after her concerts. I watched her cancel some of her tour dates because she needed to receive medical care. She just struggled. She struggled,” Joyce said.
“I stayed quiet. I still allowed you to publicly be the father that you appeared to be and not the sick father that you are. You, Ralph Simpson, there will be no Father’s Day cards for you or calls or texts from India,” she shared.
Despite the pain, Joyce noted that India, with her “infinite wisdom,” dissuaded her from suicidal thoughts, saying, “Mom, if you do that, then you’ll be gone forever too.”
Joyce also revealed that their son, J’On Simpson, currently supports Ralph financially. While unable to fully forgive, she expressed a hope for healing, stating, “I don’t want to see anybody suffer. Not even you.”
Their message aims to break a cycle of trauma, declaring, “The family curse stops here.”

Robin Thicke Sued for Posting Paparazzi Pics of Himself on Instagram Without Paying
Robin Thicke is finding himself back in court, and this time it’s not over a song, but some Instagram flicks.
The “Blurred Lines” singer is being sued by celebrity photo agency BackGrid USA Inc. for allegedly posting two paparazzi shots of himself on Instagram back in 2022 without paying for the rights. The lawsuit was filed Monday, June 16, in federal court, and it claims Thicke used the copyrighted images without a license.
One of the pics shows Thicke riding in a convertible, while the other features him leaving Catch Steak with his now-wife, April Love Geary. The photos have since been scrubbed from his IG, but BackGrid attached screenshots of the deleted posts to the lawsuit.
According to court docs, BackGrid says Thicke’s actions caused widespread unauthorized sharing and damaged the agency’s business. They also pointed out that Thicke isn’t new to this—he has over 100 copyrights registered himself and went through a huge copyright battle over “Blurred Lines” just a few years ago. So in their eyes, he should’ve known better.
BackGrid says they tried to settle things privately, but nothing came of it. Now they’re asking for the court to issue an injunction to stop Thicke from posting their content in the future and are looking for money damages.

Nightclub Owner and Sister Arrested After Roof Collapse Killed 236 in Dominican Republic

In a devastating aftermath from April’s collapse, Antonio Espaillat—owner of Santo Domingo’s iconic Jet Set nightclub—and his sister Maribel were arrested on June 12. Authorities have 48 hours to formally charge them.
The Dominican Republic’s Attorney General’s Office called the siblings “immense irresponsibility and negligence,” accusing them of failing “to physically intervene to prevent the club’s roof from collapsing, as it ultimately did, causing 236 deaths and more than 180 injuries.”
Among the 236 victims was merengue legend Rubby Pérez, who was performing that night for about 515 attendees. Miami baseball icons Octavio Dotel and Tony Blanco, plus Montecristi governor Nelsy Cruz (sister of MLB star Nelson Cruz), also perished in the disaster.
In his April 23rd TV interview, Antonio pledged cooperation: “I’m going to face everything. I’m not going anywhere.” He continued, “To the families of the victims, I want to say I’m sorry. I’m very sorry. I am completely destroyed.” He described the event’s weight: “There are no words to express the pain this event has caused.”
Jet Set had celebrated its 50th anniversary. Antonio acknowledged ongoing maintenance issues, sharing on Telesistema’s El Dia: “there was no warning” the roof was unstable, though he admitted the roof “had routine water filtration issues for years, stemming from its air conditioning units.”
President Luis Abinader expressed national sorrow on X: “We deeply regret the tragedy that occurred at the Jet Set nightclub. … Our prayers are with the affected families.”
Prosecutors allege the Espaillats tried to intimidate or manipulate employees and note that the siblings come from a prominent entertainment empire. The true cause remains under investigation.

Trump Mobile Is The Latest Grift From The First Family
For their next grift, President Trump and his grifting family are launching a wireless communication business and already have three cellphone service carriers down to help scam people out of their money.
Monday, the family of snake oil salesmen, the Trump Organization, announced Trump Mobile, which will offer 5G phone service bundled with an unlimited plan and hilariously called the “47 Plan.” This plan will cost any sucker who signs up for it $47.45 per month.
Yes, that number is a play on Trump being the 47th and 45th President of the United States.
This latest grift joins the long list of grifts and ventures the president and his family are involved in, including “luxury” hotels, golf clubs, casinos, crypto, and real estate. We would be remiss if we didn’t mention Trump’s other business failures, such as Trump Steak, Trump Vodka, Trump Taj Mahal, Trump Shuttles, and Trump Mortgage, LLC.
Trump Mobile could very well make it onto that list.
Trump’s two numbskull sons, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump Jr. made the announcement on what is the 10-year anniversary of their father coming down that gaudy-ass Trump Tower gold escalator in NYC to announce he was going to run for president, subsequently making our lives a living hell and giving racists the confidence they needed to express their bigotry loud and proudly.
Per Variety:
“Trump Mobile is going to change the game,” Donald Trump Jr. said in a statement. “We’re building on the movement to put America first, and we will deliver the highest levels of quality and service. Our company is based right here in the United States because we know it’s what our customers want and deserve.”
Trump Mobile Is Offering Customers A New Smartphone, The T1
Variety also reports potential suckers, oops we customers can make the switch to Trump Mobile’s T1 Mobile service using their current devices.
If you’re in the market for a new phone you can purchase Trump Mobile’s “T1 Phone” which honestly looks like a Android knockoff of the iPhone and is described as “a sleek, gold smartphone engineered for performance and proudly designed and built in the United States for customers who expect the best from their mobile carrier.”
Like many of Agent 47’s ventures, Rolling Stone points out that Trump Mobile is just another licensing deal with the fine print stating, “Trump Mobile, its products and services are not designed, developed, manufactured, distributed or sold by The Trump Organization or any of their respective affiliates or principals. T1 Mobile LLC uses the ‘Trump’ name and trademark pursuant to the terms of a limited license agreement which may be terminated or revoked according to its terms.”
Lol.
