#MAGFAB: Sharon Stone for Vogue Adria
Sharon Stone ditched her bra while wearing a sheer top in a stunning new photo shoot for Vogue Adria’s June issue.

In the black and white snap by photographer Branislav Simoncik, the Hollywood icon, 67, was hoisted on the shoulder of a male model as she gazed at the camera, surrounded by a crowd of adoring men.
Stone wore a see-through, short sleeved top that fell off her left shoulder in the smoldering shot, and her blond hair was styled in soft curls.
In another photo, the “Basic Instinct” actress modeled a black, old-Hollywood style gown while standing in what appeared to be a driveway.
The actress also posed in a white power suit, reminiscent of the one she wore in her iconic scene from the ’90s thriller.
An additional photo from the sensual spread showed Stone tugging at a crisp white collared shirt while reclining in the laps of two male models — one of whom is Halle Berry’s ex Gabriel Aubry.

In another image, Stone spread out on a table in a midi dress while the men looked on.
In a cover image, Stone posed with her legs spread in a denim coverall suit while surrounded by men, as one of them appeared to dance on the floor in front of her.
In a second cover image — accompanied by the headline: “Sharon Stone: Where intimacy meets power” — the actress wore a sheer ruched dress over a black bra and underwear.
The mag took to Instagram on Wednesday to tout the iconic star’s cover spread and accompanying interview.
“She uses her influence to truly change the world (and succeeds in doing so) by focusing on health, a fairer society, and a life of dignity for all,” they wrote in part, adding that in the interview, Stone “talks about the projects she’s currently working on, how she copes during difficult times, and what she’s looking forward to.”
Stone recently opened up about aging and embracing her figure.
“A lot of people give up as they get older,” she told the Times in a March interview.

“They let go of their body because it’s collapsing anyway, or it’s like, ‘I’m not defined by my body anymore.’ But you still have to love that body.”
After joking that her “underarms have pleats now,” Stone, who is an artist, pointed out the positives.
“I think, ‘Well, I had beautiful arms and now they’re strong and painting and like angel wings.’ So what if they have pleats? Maybe that’s what makes them wonderful now,” she said.

Cool.

BREAKING: #RIPWalterScott R&B Legend of The Whispers Has Died at 81
Legendary R&B vocalist Walter Scott, co-founder of the beloved soul group The Whispers, has passed away at age 81. His death follows a brief illness that had recently kept him from performing. News of his passing has left fans and fellow artists in mourning worldwide.

Desirae L. Benson, a representative for The Whispers, shared this heartfelt statement to Soul Tracks: “We all are incredibly heartbroken. It is with deep sadness that we confirm the passing of Walter Scott, beloved member of the legendary R&B group The Whispers. His voice, presence, and contributions helped shape a musical legacy that touched millions. Walter’s impact on the industry and in the hearts of fans will never be forgotten. Memorial details will be shared at a later date. Sending love and light to his family, friends, and all of the millions of fans around the world. We lost a legend!”

Formed in Los Angeles during the early 1960s, The Whispers included twin brothers Walter and Wallace “Scotty” Scott, Nicholas Caldwell, Marcus Hutson, and Leaveil Degree. They began recording with Dore Records and found early success with the 1970 hit “Seems Like I Gotta Do Wrong.”
The group remained consistent through the 70s, with modest chart success under Don Cornelius and Dick Griffey’s Soul Train label. But things changed dramatically in 1980 when they joined Griffey’s SOLAR label and collaborated with producer Leon Sylvers. That union gave birth to one of the most iconic tracks in R&B history: “And the Beat Goes On.”

The Whispers found their stride in the 1980s with a stream of unforgettable songs. “It’s A Love Thing,” “Keep On Lovin Me,” and “Tonight” became soul anthems. Their tender tribute, “A Song For Donny,” paid homage to Donny Hathaway with lyrics by Carrie Lucas. And with the help of Babyface, the group reached new heights with the crossover smash “Rock Steady.”

Even as mainstream success faded, The Whispers remained a favorite on soul and dance charts. After moving to Capitol Records in 1990, they released additional hits like “Innocent” and “My Heart Your Heart.”
The group suffered personal tragedies with the loss of Marcus Hutson in 2000 and Nicholas Caldwell in 2016. Despite the heartbreak, the group pressed on. Walter and Scotty Scott released a duo album, *My Brother’s Keeper*, in 2006, continuing their musical journey together.

Earlier this year, Walter Scott missed several shows due to illness, sparking concern among fans. Though many hoped for his recovery, the sad news of his passing now marks the end of an era. His contribution to R&B spans over 50 years, leaving behind a musical catalog that shaped the soundtrack of countless lives.
From humble beginnings to international acclaim, Walter Scott and The Whispers proved that soul music could thrive across decades. His voice, energy, and dedication will forever be remembered by fans, friends, and fellow artists alike. Rest in peace, Walter—you were truly one of a kind.

#HipHopNews: Cardi B Defends Putting 'WAP' On Her New Album
Cardi B has hit out at critics who questioned to include old songs such as “WAP” and “Up” on her new album Am I the Drama?
The tracks were released in 2020 and 2021 respectively but Cardi confirmed that both hit singles will land on her forthcoming project which is going to include 23 songs.

On X, Cardi explained why she put the old songs on her album: “This will be the last and only time I’m gonna address this.. ‘WAP’ and ‘Up’ are two of my biggest songs, my fans have been asking me to put them on an album, and people search for them on IOP all the time… they deserve a home..

“I let haters make me not submit ‘WAP’ for the Grammy’s and at this point I’m giving my fans what they want! These two songs don’t even count for first week sales so what are yall even crying about??? Do ya say anything when all these artist pull out all their little tricks and ponies to sell out??? Exactly….Now let them eat cake. Go cry about it!!!”

This will be the last and only time I’m gonna address this.. WAP and Up are two of my biggest songs, my fans have been asking me to put them on an album, and people search for them on IOP all the time… they deserve a home.. I let haters make me not submit WAP for the Grammy’s…

Coming seven years after her groundbreaking debut Invasion of Privacy, the album will drop on September 19.
Cardi also unveiled the project’s distinctive artwork which features her in an elaborate red dress surrounded by two crows.
In the clip, Cardi says: “Seven years and the time has come. Seven years of love, light and loss. Seven years I gave them grace, but now I give them hell. I learned power’s not giving, it’s taking. I’m shedding feathers and no more tears. I’m not back, I’m beyond. I’m not your villain, I’m your karma. The time is here. The time is now.”

Last Friday, Cardi dropped “Outside”, the first single from the album.
On the record, she took aim at estranged husband, Offset, as they continue to negotiate a divorce.
On the song, she spits: “Good-for-nothing, low-down dirty dogs, I’m convinced / Next time you see your mama, tell her how she raised a bitch.”

Trey Songz Crashes Out, Threatens To “Beat The Sh*t” Out Of Man In Viral Clip
Trey Songz is once again under fire for his temper after footage of a heated confrontation surfaced online, with the singer threatening to “beat the sh*t” out of another man.
The clip, which was shared on social media on Tuesday evening (June 24), quickly went viral, with commenters split on whether the R&B star’s aggressive behavior was warranted.

In the video, Songz is seen locked in a tense exchange with an unidentified man, with both hurling insults and threats in an escalating war of words.

The confrontation captured in the video begins with the man rejecting any attempt at reconciliation, stating bluntly, “I ain’t gonna shake your hand.”
Songz quickly fires back: “And you ain’t gone do sh*t either like I told you.” The unnamed man then calls Songz a “p*ssy,” to which Songz responds with a menacing warning: “I’ll beat the sh*t out of you right now.”

The clip has added to the growing perception of Songz as someone prone to volatility and outbursts. This latest incident mirrors past allegations and encounters that have painted the singer in a controversial light.
Notably, undefeated boxing champion Terence Crawford previously recalled a nearly violent altercation with Songz during 50 Cent’s Tycoon Weekend in 2022.
“Trey Songz was just having a moment,” Crawford said on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast, adding that he initially thought Songz was joking. “Is he serious or is he playing? I was waiting to go ‘I’m just playing with you.’ I wasn’t gonna punch him, I was gonna choke him. I wanna choke you, I don’t even wanna punch you.”

Fat Joe’s Attorney Responds After Lawyer Tyrone Blackburn’s Arrest For Assault On Process Server

On Monday (June 23), Fat Joe‘s legal team confirmed that attorney Tyrone Blackburn — who is representing Terrance Dixon, Joe’s ex-hypeman — was arrested and charged with second-degree assault.
The charge stems from an incident where Blackburn reportedly struck a process server with his vehicle while attempting to dodge being served with legal documents.

According to Joe’s lawyer, Joe Tacopina, the moment unfolded as a process server approached Blackburn to deliver a lawsuit tied to an April 2025 filing. Rather than accept the papers, Blackburn allegedly tried to flee the scene, hitting the server with his car in the process. Although he was ultimately served, Blackburn’s decision to resort to physical evasion has now landed him in cuffs.
In the suit filed earlier this year by Joe, it names both Blackburn and Dixon, accusing them of extortion, defamation, and intentional infliction of emotional distress. At the heart of the claim is a demand letter sent to Joe in March, in which Blackburn and Dixon alleged that Dixon had served as a “ghostwriter and uncredited vocalist” on several of Fat Joe’s songs and asked for payment.
The “Lean Back” rapper’s legal team dismissed the demands as fraudulent, but received a second complaint threatening a lawsuit packed with what Fat Joe’s lawyers called “false and outrageous allegations,” including claims of statutory rape, sex trafficking, and fraud. Once a warrant was issued for Blackburn’s arrest, the lawyer and Dixon filed a retaliatory lawsuit against the rapper, a move Joe’s team says was just another calculated effort to smear his name.

“Our team’s reaction is that it’s not a surprise at all,” Tacopina said. “Normally, a lawyer getting arrested would be sort of shocking. Here, it’s not shocking at all, because it’s just the latest example of his conduct. His malicious, manipulative conduct — or misconduct — that’s what I’ll call it … he’s an embarrassment to the legal community, he really is.”
Tacopina referenced past disciplinary concerns raised by federal judges, citing patterns of behavior he believes demonstrate a bad legal strategy. “Two federal judges have recently excoriated him. The way he’ll file a suit almost just to embarrass someone, to get publicity for himself, to get money, and then the suit falls flat on its face.”

According to Tacopina, the conduct surrounding the case further calls Blackburn’s credibility into question. “Unfortunately for him, he’s run to the wrong defendant and wrong defense team, because we’re not going to puss around, the truth will come out here and he’s going to wind up in a very difficult position.”
In terms of potential courtroom impact, Tacopina believes Blackburn’s legal history may play a role. “I think the judge will have taken into consideration all the conduct of the lawyers before the court, because that’s just part of the credibility of any advocate,” he said. “If a federal judge wrote about me, what she wrote about him, I would quit law. I’d go make espressos at Starbucks or something. I would die. But, he’s just oblivious to this stuff.” Tacopina pointed to the arrest as further reflection of Blackburn’s character.

Despite the accusations and media attention, Tacopina said the Terror Squad boss is in good spirits and focused on moving forward. “Joe’s a great guy, I’ve known him for a long time. As we say, tough times don’t last, tough people do,” he said. “This is not fun for anyone to go through, even if it’s completely false, which it is. But, he still has to go through it.” He added, “I spoke to him today, he was very positive, he has got a good outlook. But this is something now he has to deal with, false allegations from someone who has zero credibility and does things just to garner publicity for himself.”
As for the case itself, Tacopina firmly believes there is no legal risk to his client. “He’s not going to be found liable. There’s no scenario where Joe would be found liable in this case. An allegation is just an allegation, especially a civil allegation,” he continued. “This is just some guy making a claim to get money. But yet that being said, it’s still very difficult for him, because he’s got all these deals with different companies, and he’s the face of different things.”
Tacopina concluded by casting doubt on the defendants’ ability to cover any potential financial fallout, as well. “There are damages that are piling up, and I don’t know where Tyrone Blackburn, and Mr. Dixon are going to get the money to pay Joe back, because I’m sure together they don’t have enough to cover any of the damages.”

The arrest is also not Blackburn’s first. In April 2024, Judge Denise Cote of the Southern District of New York referred him to the grievance committee for allegedly filing cases in federal court not to seek justice, but to bring media attention and pressure settlements with sensational claims.
Just a month before Joe’s initial lawsuit, Judge J. Paul Oetken also took issue with Blackburn’s behavior, citing “inaccurate statements of law” and “irrelevant insults, misstatements, and exaggerations” in his legal filings.

Diddy Gets Major Win: Prosecutors Drop Arson & Kidnapping Charges In Federal RICO Trial
Diddy scored a major legal win in his federal racketeering and sex trafficking case Tuesday (June 25) after prosecutors dropped attempted arson, kidnapping and aiding sex trafficking claims, gutting some of the most serious allegations against him.

Federal prosecutors told Judge Arun Subramanian they would no longer pursue charges related to an alleged break-in and car fire involving Kid Cudi, nor would they continue with claims that Diddy helped facilitate sex trafficking.
The government stated that it would remove those charges from the jury instructions, effectively ending that part of the case. The decision came after 29 days of testimony in a high-profile trial that has gripped the Hip-Hop world and beyond.

The dropped charges centered on a 2011 incident where Cudi, born Scott Mescudi, claimed Diddy broke into his Los Angeles home after learning he was romantically involved with Cassie Ventura.
Kid Cudi testified that he found his dog locked in a bathroom and luxury gifts opened in his kitchen. Weeks later, Cudi’s Porsche was destroyed in a Molotov cocktail attack. A Los Angeles Fire Department investigator testified that the blaze was intentional and targeted.

However, no male DNA was recovered from the incendiary device, and fingerprint evidence from the break-in was later destroyed by the LAPD’s evidence unit.
Kid Cudi said he confronted Diddy about the fire, but Diddy denied any involvement, reportedly saying, “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
Despite the dramatic testimony, prosecutors ultimately abandoned the arson and kidnapping theories, leaving Cudi’s claims legally irrelevant to the case.

Meanwhile, Diddy’s legal team rested their defense in under 30 minutes, choosing not to call any witnesses.
Instead, they leaned on a series of romantic and explicit text messages between Diddy and Ventura to argue that the nature of their relationship was consensual.
As closing arguments began Tuesday, the prosecution shifted focus to Diddy’s alleged “freak-off” sex parties.

They introduced video clips, text exchanges and financial records to argue Diddy and his staff coordinated sexual encounters involving escorts and partners.
Diddy, 55, has pleaded not guilty to five federal charges, including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force or fraud and transporting individuals for prostitution.

If convicted on any count, he could face significant prison time.
Monday (June 24), defense attorney Alexandra Shapiro asked the judge to acquit Diddy on all charges, arguing the government failed to prove he was part of a criminal enterprise.
She said the prosecution had not shown he violated RICO laws, agreed to join a conspiracy or operated any enterprise beyond his personal relationships.

Brandy & Monica Address Longstanding Feud Ahead Of Reunion Tour: “It Did Turn Into Something”

Brandy and Monica are finally turning the page on decades of rumors and rivalry as they gear up for their first-ever co-headlining trek, The Boy Is Mine Tour.
The R&B icons discussed the long-awaited tour during a sit-down with Gayle King on CBS Mornings, where they also addressed the years of speculation about their relationship.

“They were trying to get us to do a tour since ’98,” Brandy revealed. “It just finally felt like the right time. It was a dream come true.”
The tour announcement follows renewed buzz around their 1998 hit “The Boy Is Mine,” thanks to their cameo in Ariana Grande’s music video of the same name and a Grammy nomination for the remix.

But Brandy and Monica made it clear that this tour is about more than nostalgia.
“There was a lot of confusion and conflict, and there was a lot of people around,” Monica explained, reflecting on the origins of their rumored feud. Brandy added, “The song didn’t help. We were fighting over a boy.” Monica jumped in with a laugh, “We don’t even like the same type of boy…there could never have been a boy.”
Both singers admitted the tension grew over time, but they’ve since worked through it by shutting out outside noise.

“It did turn into something,” Monica said, explaining they eventually shut out the opinions of the “peanut gallery” and began communicating directly.
Now, they’re calling their renewed partnership a “musical marriage.” Monica said, “We created the communication and the relationship to do it.”
The tour will feature special guests Kelly Rowland, Muni Long and 2025 American Idol winner Jamal Roberts.

The Boy Is Mine Tour kicks off Wednesday (October 16) and runs through Saturday (December 7) with 24 stops in major cities across the country.

Tyra Banks brought her mom, Carolyn London, to tears with a surprise in Sydney, Australia.
Sharing the moment on Instagram, the former America’s Next Top Model host took her mother to preview her new flagship Smize & Dream ice cream shop. When Ms. London saw the storefront, she immediately broke down:

Tyra’s mom explained why the moment hit so deeply:
“Years and years ago, when I was working so hard as a single mom… I worked two jobs. I worked three jobs… and the way we would celebrate each week that I got through is I would take her for ice cream in Hollywood.”
She added, “We would sit in the car and talk about what we wanted out of life… and that ice cream was so special for us.”

Tyra, also emotional, told her mom:
“It’s crazy, Mom, because when I look at everything, I can’t believe this is real. Yeah, it’s my dream, but it’s more than what I dreamed. Mama, this is dedicated to you.”

The King of Pop Michael Jackson's Final Words and Last Days Revealed in New Memoir
The King of Pop passed away 16 years ago, and now one of his close friends is opening up about the star’s final days
Before his tragic death, Michael Jackson was preparing for his highly anticipated This Is It concert residency, which was set to run from July 2009 to March 2010. But the 50-year-old singer never got to see it through — he died just one month before the first show.

Now, Jackson’s longtime friend and personal attorney, John Mason, is sharing what he witnessed in those final weeks.
In his new memoir, Crazy Lucky: Remarkable Stories from Inside the World of Celebrity Icons, Mason offers an inside look at Jackson’s condition leading up to his death.

“In 2009, I was living in Reno when I got a call from someone who told me that Michael was in ‘really bad shape,’ Mason wrote, according to Radar Online. “He was trying to tour again, but he had collapsed onstage during rehearsals. Yet, he was back at it the next day. Michael was Michael.”

As concerns about Jackson’s health mounted, he was also battling severe insomnia. Concert promoter AEG reportedly brought in Dr. Conrad Murray to help manage his condition.
Murray allegedly began administering nightly doses of propofol — a anesthetic typically used in surgery — to help the singer sleep.
According to Mason, Jackson’s last words were, “I can’t function if I don’t sleep. They’ll have to cancel it. And I don’t want them to cancel it.”

Dr. Murray was later convicted of involuntary manslaughter. His Texas medical license was revoked, and his licenses in California and Nevada were suspended. Though sentenced to four years, he was released on parole after serving two.
Mason also claims Jackson was under immense financial pressure, nearing bankruptcy and at risk of losing his beloved Neverland Ranch. He says the medications were meant to help Jackson rest so he could keep performing — but the combination proved fatal.
The Grammy-winner died on June 25, 2009, from cardiac arrest caused by a lethal mix of sedatives and propofol.

Mason’s account adds to the ongoing speculation surrounding Jackson’s final days — though his recollections remain alleged.

DDG Granted Visitation in Italy Amid Custody Fight with Halle Bailey

A Los Angeles judge has ruled that DDG can visit his 18-month-old son, Halo, in Italy under one condition: a professional monitor must be present.
The update comes as the custody battle between the rapper and Halle Bailey continues to unfold. Bailey, who was previously granted temporary sole custody of Halo, is currently in Rome for a two-month film shoot. On Tuesday, June 24, DDG and his legal team appeared in court to request overseas visitation while the child remains in Bailey’s care.

According to Billboard, DDG’s attorney, Larry Bakman, asked Judge Latrice A.G. Byrdsong for permission for DDG to see his son at the end of the month while under the supervision of his mother. But Bailey’s lawyer, Jeremy Lane, objected, citing concerns that DDG’s mother has enabled the behavior Bailey outlined in her custody petition, which included allegations of abuse.
Judge Byrdsong agreed that the visit could happen, but only under the supervision of a neutral, professional monitor. She also requested that DDG refrain from posting the child on social media during the trip, should the overseas visitation be approved.

Both parties are now working to secure an appropriate monitor in Italy. The court will revisit the issue during the next hearing, scheduled for Thursday, June 26. This is the latest development in an ongoing legal dispute that began when Bailey filed for custody earlier this year, citing safety concerns surrounding her son.

Convicted Former State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby Freed After Home Confinement
On June 20, former Baltimore City State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby completed her one-year sentence and was formally released from home detention, according to reports.
Mosby was found guilty on federal charges that included one count of making false statements on a mortgage application and two counts of perjury. She was sentenced to three years of supervised release, with the first year being spent under strict home confinement, instead of going to prison. The judge's decision took into account Mosby's status as a mother and public official, deviating from standard sentencing guidelines that could have involved 12–18 months in prison.

Now that confinement requirements are over, the United States Probation plans to request an early termination of her supervised release, according to a defense motion filed on June 16 by her attorneys.
Notably, Mosby was also released from $1,447.23 in monitoring fees related to her electronic ankle bracelet, claiming that her protracted legal battle had caused her financial hardship. Her defense emphasized how she had become impoverished and dependent on federal public defender services, pointing to the loss of savings from credit card debt, unemployment, and legal fees.

Twelve months of home confinement, one hundred hours of community service, and three years of supervised release were required as part of the May 2024 sentencing. Mosby, 44, was facing a sentence that included a 12- to 18-month jail sentence and possible fines. Her passport was turned over during the proceedings.

The prosecution had advocated for a 20-month jail sentence.
Mosby returns to public life while on a three-year probationary term after her confinement was formally ended. The United State’s Probation office is expected motion could result in her entire sentence ending earlier than expected, allowing for a complete restoration of her rights and the removal of any remaining legal restrictions.

Amina Buddafly Reveals She And Her Children With Peter Gunz Are Homeless
Amina Buddafly has revealed that she and her two daughters with Peter Gunz are currently without a permanent home after losing their residence in Los Angeles. The former Love & Hip Hop: New York cast member shared the news in a candid TikTok video posted Tuesday (June 24), explaining that she has since relocated to Hamburg, Germany — her hometown.

“Day one of waking up in Germany after losing our home in LA,” she said in the video while laying down. “Me and my kids moved out of our place, put our stuff in storage or most of it in the trash… We don’t have a home, y’all.” The 42-year-old said she and her children are now staying with family while she figures out a plan and works to rebuild. “Thank God for family,” she added. “We’re going to be here ’til I figure it out. Because I will, as I always do.”

The singer and former reality star said she parted with the majority of her belongings before leaving the country. “I threw my whole life in the trash. 80 percent of what we owned, and I didn’t own anything valuable anyway to begin with,” she said. “It feels very good to not have much, but have what’s important, which is love.”
Though Amina has stayed off TV in recent years, she made a brief return to the Love & Hip Hop franchise with its reunion specials: Love & Hip Hop Awards: Most Certified and 40 Greatest Love & Hip Hop Moments: The Reboot. Now in Germany, she says her focus is on moving forward with purpose. “I only want what’s valuable to me,” she said. “Stay tuned for what’s next.”

Peter Gunz caught wind of her video and promised that a Live session was coming today at 1PM (June 25) to explain his stance on her current homelessness.
“Really thought we gave the world enough of our private life however the show must go on and this must be addressed. Please join me on my live at 1PM eastern,” he wrote on Instagram.
Six days before sharing her life update about losing her home, Amina appeared in a now-viral TikTok alongside Gunz. In the clip, she’s seen asking a question that seemingly was about their past dynamic and prompted many to now wonder if he’s supporting her during this period of hardship.

In the clip, Amina poses a scenario that hit a little too close to home for longtime Love & Hip-Hop fans: “One guy is in love with two women — one he’s totally lying to one about everything and the other one he’s completely honest about everything. Which one of the two does he love?” The latter seemingly referenced his past love-triangle between Amina and his other children’s mother, Tara Wallace.
Gunz immediately responded, “Oh, he love both of them,” which caused Amina to laugh, knowingly.
Following the video, one user commented, “Amina u have to let him go seriously it’s getting ridiculous at this point. He loved Tara out loud and u in secret…”

In response, Amina said in another post, “Apparently when I post with my ex-husband I go viral. Y’all be taking sh*t so seriously. Ya’ll in ya’ll feelings, ya’ll think ya’ll know everything. I got gray hair. I was young when I was on Love & Hip-Hop. I’m 42 years old. This is 10 plus years ago. And you’re still on that?”
Explaining that the occasional content featuring her ex isn’t about rekindling anything — it’s about understanding the power of a platform, she added, “All I gotta do is make a video with my ex-husband and I’ll go viral on TikTok, which equals money.”

Suzanne Somers' widower is now dating her former costar

Suzanne Somers' widower has found love again — with one of his late wife's former costars.
Producer Alan Hamel, who was married to the Three's Company actress from 1977 until she died in 2023, is now dating Joanna Cassidy, who appeared with Sommers in 1985 miniseries Hollywood Wives.

"I don't know where this relationship is going," Hamel told Page Six for a story published Wednesday that confirmed the two are dating, after they were photographed going to a restaurant in Malibu, Calif.
Hamel has said that Somers, who was also known for TV's Step by Step and movie American Graffiti, told him she wanted him to find romance after she died of breast cancer at the age of 76.

"Since Suzanne was my only date for over 50 years, I'm a virgin dater," he told the same outlet in December. "Suzanne told me when we knew the end was near not to 'mope around' and live my life."

Hamel has a long history with Cassidy, partly because of Somers.
"I have known Joanna Cassidy for over 45 years," he explained. "Joanna was a guest star on [talk show] The Alan Hamel Show in Canada in the '70s. She was a great guest and it was a dynamic show, and we liked each other, not romantically, but mainly with respect. Both of us were married at the time."
Hamel and Cassidy met again when she and Somers costarred on Hollywood Wives, which was based on a Jackie Collins novel. They costarred alongside Candice Bergen, Stefanie Powers, and Angie Dickinson.

Hamel recalled he and Cassidy having been "very cordial" at the time. But sparks flew when they were reintroduced again, and both were single.
"My son [from a previous marriage] met Joanna at a screening and after a long conversation suggested to Joanna that she and me would get along and should meet," Hamel explained. "Stephen did not know we knew each other."

Cassidy is best known for her work in movies including 1982's Blade Runner, 1988's Who Framed Roger Rabbit, and, in 1991, Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead. She appeared on all five seasons of HBO's series Six Feet Under between 2001 and 2005.
Days after Somers died, her husband spoke about his grief on Today.
"We had talked about this day coming, and we thought it was going to be me because I'm 10 years older," Hamel said. "If that happened she would be alone, which was a terrible conundrum, the idea of her being alone."

He remembered his wife as "an amazing, amazing woman."
"Aside from all her accomplishments, she was an amazing wife and an amazing mother as well," Hamel said. "She's the one who pulled our family together. I didn't do it. She did it. She really knew what she was doing. So I will miss her."

James Harden Faces Lawsuit Over Alleged Sexual Assault at His Texas Mansion
*A civil lawsuit filed in Texas on Monday has thrust L.A. Clippers star James Harden into a legal storm, accusing his nephew, Justice Armani Blackburn, of sexually assaulting 40-year-old Marisa Watley during a New Year’s Eve party at Harden’s mansion.
As Ice Cream Convos reports, the complaint also targets Harden and his hired security personnel, alleging their failure to intervene allowed the assault to occur.

According to the lawsuit, Watley was unconscious due to intoxication when the alleged assault took place. As Ice Cream Convos reports, the filing claims that security guards, employed by Harden, were aware of multiple women in vulnerable states at the event but did nothing to ensure their safety.
The lawsuit asserts that Harden bears “vicarious liability” for the actions—or inaction—of his security team, whose negligence, it argues, directly led to Watley’s trauma. The aftermath has left Watley grappling with profound emotional scars, including the development of a stutter.

Her legal team emphasizes the devastating psychological impact of the incident and calls for greater accountability in how security personnel handle situations involving intoxicated individuals at high-profile gatherings.

As the case moves forward, it is likely to draw intense scrutiny to Harden and the broader issue of safety protocols at private events hosted by celebrities.
Watley’s attorneys hope the lawsuit will spark meaningful changes in how such incidents are prevented.
