#MAGFAB: Coco Jones for VIBE Magazine!

The Passion Of Coco Jones. The R&B songstress' road to her debut album was far from easy, but the long, eye-opening journey has resulted in her being more focused than ever.
When thinking of her childhood, one particular phrase from it is burned into Coco Jones’ brain forever: “What’s the deal, pickle? Is everything kosher?”
“That meant get your a** up. It’s time for school,” she tells me with a laugh, remembering every detail down to the nostalgic intro from the local radio host. Every morning, the intercoms throughout her Lebanon, Tennessee, home would blast 101.1 The Beat, as her three younger siblings’ footsteps ignited all around the house. The buttery smell of grits, biscuits, eggs, and bacon wafted through the walls as her dad—former NFL player Mike Jones—cooked breakfast while her mom—session vocalist Javonda Jones—did the girls’ hair.

Knowing her roots, the North Carolina-born artist’s easy and authentic Southern charm makes complete sense. From the moment she walks into the photo studio, Coco is equal parts poised, confident, and down-to-earth. Jones has the kind of glow that only comes from being comfortable in one’s own skin. Considering her many years as a Disney Channel kid and a talented basketball player, neither her intensity nor her dedication to excellence should be a surprise. Her mom, the reason why she never gave up on herself, is still her plus-one to every big Hollywood event to this day.

Fast forward to spring 2025, and things are definitely still kosher. The 27-year-old’s career has materialized into an unending stream of scenes straight from her vision board. In 2024, before Jones’ first album was even released, she’d garnered seven Grammy nominations and won “Best R&B Performance” for “ICU.” And even that was after she was crowned “Best New Artist” at the BET Awards in 2023. Since then, the woman that Beyoncé declared could “sing her a** off” scored invites to the Met Gala, Oscars, and Roc Nation Brunch.
With all those cylinders firing, the only thing left should have been the release of her first official album—but that turned out to be a winding road that nearly broke her down. Her debut album, Why Not More?, finally made landfall on April 25. What was supposed to be a cathartic and joyful day also doubled as an intense metamorphosis. Fans flooded her Instagram to congratulate her, only to be met with Coco, via a vlog-style behind-the-scenes reel, emotionally discussing her hopes and the process of creating the album.

“I just hope it means something… I feel like I’m kind of grieving a little bit,” she says, her voice softly cracking with emotion. “People ask me if I’m excited about it, f**k no. This sh*t hurt me. It brings out the worst side of you, ‘cause it’s supposed to, and you gotta write about ‘em.”

What was the pain behind the tears? It was a deep desire not to disappoint herself, because a debut album is forever. Coco wanted to get it exactly right. The love and care she has for her music was all-consuming, and in her words, “almost sent me on a spiral.” “I think that was the side of me I felt was the worst, this ‘no grace’ part. Basically, it was just pushing yourself until you’re satisfied with yourself. To have to put together a piece of work and present it to a label after you’ve already had certain levels of success, it’s just a very uncomfortable place to be in. It brings so many expectations from myself, from the world.”

“I’m also my worst critic,” she adds. Her logical, hardworking brain kicked in. “I feel like I have an expectation to myself that I can make things happen faster than they happen in reality, in real time. I feel like if I work hard enough and I have the right song, it would do that again.” To make things happen for herself, she knows to put her head down and work… fiercely.

After all, that’s what she’s been doing since she was 11 years old, going to auditions and sleeping in recording studios on school nights. The evening prior to this cover shoot, Coco delivered a headlining set at the Brooklyn Paramount for the New York City stop of her Why Not More? Tour to a screaming, sold-out crowd of 2,700 fans chanting her lyrics right back to her. Then, with every muscle in her body aching like a linebacker on Monday morning, she rose before dawn to do a press day before coming to see VIBE.

Now, I’m like, ‘You have fans. You don’t need to convince them.’ Meaning you can be in the moment without pitching yourself. This isn’t a sales show. They’re already sold, and that feels good.”
And in decidedly opposite R&B diva-like behavior, Jones arrives 45 minutes early, breezes through glam and styling, and completes a whole extra look. That’s when I asked if she needed a well-deserved break to decompress after the shoot, in between getting her hair re-braided and our interview. Her manager looks at me, cracks a slight smile, and says matter-of-factly, “No. Don’t worry, she prefers doing two things at the same time.”

“Two things” is an understatement when describing Coco Jones’ work ethic. In addition to the tour, she’s simultaneously filming the fourth and final season of Bel-Air, Peacock’s well-loved Fresh Prince reboot. Her life has become a vigorous balancing act as the opportunities continue to roll in at the highest rate they’ve ever been. However, she’d much rather have it this way, as she remembers the season prior to this, where people hardly seemed to be tuning in.

After high school, the Let It Shine star made the leap to move out to Los Angeles on her own to chase her dreams. Her “coming of age” era was an absolute whirlwind, with her LA adventures giving her the real-life experiences she felt she lacked at the time. The jump from “literally being homeschooled, to the Disney Channel thing, to this” was intense, but necessary.
“I feel like I had to live because I was super sheltered up until then by choice. Like, I didn’t care to go be around boys, I didn’t care to go party. I just wanted to be employed. I wanted to do more of the things that make me happy, and when I moved to LA, that’s what I wanted to do,” she says. She was able to move relatively incognito during those days, a blessing in disguise because she was able to be free to make mistakes, party, and date. Future’s “March Madness” dominated the clubs at the time and “made the floor levitate,” and she distinctly remembers being blown away by the rise of artists like Summer Walker, SZA, and Bryson Tiller.

On her own, she was being as productive as life would allow, picking up acting roles here and there, enrolling in classes at a music school, and networking horizontally with peers who were in similar stages of their careers. She affectionately refers to this period as her “unemployed days,” reminiscing about the nights watching Broad City and eating Wingstop with her fellow unemployed best friend, who she met on the set of Good Luck, Charlie as a kid. “We were literally like, what’s going on with our lives?” she says.

However, when the savings stacked up from her Disney Channel years started to dwindle, serious decisions had to be made. After being dropped from Hollywood Records a few years prior, she was determined to prove she can still make something shake with her move to LA. Her self-funded music videos and YouTube covers were getting more clicks than the average creator, but the results were nowhere close to the sparkling visions of stardom she had embedded in her brain for herself that she couldn’t let go.
One of the lowest valleys she remembers is a phone call from her mother, where even her most optimistic cheerleader was considering facing the music.

#RHOA: NeNe Leakes Gives Hopeful Update After Son Rejects Heart Transplant: ‘He’s Walking & Talking’
“Real Housewives” favorite Nene Leakes gave a rare update yesterday on the condition of her youngest son, Brentt, who has struggled with health issues since experiencing congestive heart failure and a stroke almost three years ago.
In October 2022, NBC reported Leakes, who was a main cast member on “RHOA” from 2008 to 2014 and again from 2017 to 2020, had spoken on Instagram about the then-23-year-old’s ailments. At the time, Leakes called her son’s condition “very scary” and said he was struggling to speak. She also said doctors hadn’t found the root cause of Brentt’s symptoms, but an undetected COVID-19 infection was being considered as the possible culprit.

Now, Leakes has revealed that Brentt has spent all of this summer in the hospital. On the July 7, 2025 episode of her costar Cynthia Bailey’s “Humble Brag” podcast, Leakes said Brentt started in rough condition but has now “turned a curve.” Read on for the details.
“My son’s in the hospital,” the “Glamma” of four told her longtime friend Cynthia Bailey, citing his stay as the reason she declined an appearance on “Traitors.” The media personality continued, “My son’s been in the hospital since early May. He’s been in there almost two months.”

When Bailey asked how Brentt is doing, Leakes said, “He’s doing a lot better. He has little while longer to be there, but he’s turned a curve.” Leakes then caught fans up on why Brentt is in the hospital, saying his “heart was weak and never got back strong” after his 2022 heart attack. She went on, “He needed a heart transplant. What’s happening now is his heart started rejecting, so they are now trying to stop the rejection.” She added, “He’s really young. It’s a lot.”
The day after the podcast appearance, the grandmother of four took to her Instagram Stories to tell fans why she typically stays mum about what Brentt is going through.

“Thank you to my village that have supported me thru it all. I have been thru A LOT that most don’t see or even know about,” she wrote, before saying, “Okay so, I did an interview a few weeks ago with Cynthia Bailey. I think they aired the video yesterday, and so many people are asking me to comment. People are talking about why I didn’t do traitors, which is Brentt, my son, has been sick.”

She went on to say she likes being “an open book” in interviews, but she “tried everything” to not reveal or say too much. “We like to stay private about Brentt’s health. I feel like Brentt’s health journey is his to tell, and not necessarily mine.” She added that she likes to “respect Brentt’s privacy, and speak when he wants me to speak.”

The TV star, who has a 34-year-old son, Bryson, in addition to Brent.

#NewMusic from Charlie Wilson “Keep Me In Love”

Charlie Wilson voice has always been synonymous with love, legacy, and longevity. On his new single “Keep Me In Love,” the R&B legend taps back into his signature feel-good sound with a smooth, uptempo groove that arrives right on time for summer. The track, released through Parandise/P Music Group, follows Wilson’s 2024 No. 1 Billboard hit “Superman” and sets the stage for his upcoming Uncle Charlie’s R&B Cookout Tour.

Part celebration, part sermon, “Keep Me In Love” blends classic soul with modern production and reminds listeners why Wilson remains a cultural constant across generations. The record feels tailor-made for warm weather and is equal parts classic and current. Anchored by lush arrangements and a rhythmic bounce, it’s music that fits both the moment and the memory. Think backyard cookouts, open car windows, and slow dancing after sunset.

“My dream come true, no substitute / I know that God made only one of you,” Wilson sings, offering up lyrics that lean into love without the drama. His vocal delivery, rich with warmth and confidence, moves across the track with ease. Supported by harmonies that nod to his gospel roots, the song plays like a love letter to emotional security, a theme Wilson has championed throughout his catalog. It’s anchored by smooth, uptempo production that nods to ‘80s synth-funk while still feeling fresh in today’s sonic landscape.

“R&B has given so much to me, and I feel a responsibility to give it something back. Real stories, real love and real music.” says Wilson. “Keep Me In Love is a reminder that love doesn’t have to be complicated. It can be joyful, it can be steady and it can feel good.”

LISTEN HERE:

Where many artists follow trends, Wilson stays grounded in what he does best. “Keep Me In Love” does not chase the moment. It owns it. The single is a reminder that R&B can feel current without losing its foundation. Sometimes it just needs to feel real.
“Charlie has always had a rare ability to evolve while staying true to who he is,” says Michael Paran, CEO of P Music Group. “This record captures that magic. It’s timeless but fresh and it shows why he’s still one of the most consistent and beloved voices in music.”

With a career that spans more than four decades, Charlie Wilson continues to prove he is not just a legacy act. He is a blueprint. “Keep Me In Love” is the latest chapter in a story that remains soulful, steady, and unmatched.

#HipHopNews: Pusha T Confirms He Spoke With Kendrick Lamar During Drake Beef: “That’s My Guy”
Pusha T and Kendrick Lamar stayed in contact during the height of Lamar’s lyrical battle with Drake.
Pusha T praised Lamar's “euphoria” diss as a standout moment in battle rap, calling it “incredible.”
Their recent collaboration on “Chains & Whips” appears on Clipse’s album, Let God Sort Em Out.

Pusha T spoke with Kendrick Lamar during his beef with Drake, he confirmed during “The Breakfast Club” on Friday (July 11). Clipse is currently making rounds for their long-awaited comeback album, Let God Sort Em Out, and given the Compton rapper's involvement in the project, the conversation inevitably turned toward their common adversary.
When Charlamagne Tha God asked Pusha T if he realized he’d laid the blueprint for Lamar’s “euphoria,” the artist responded, “Great lyricists just tune into the obvious.” DJ Envy then stepped in with the question fans have been waiting to hear: whether or not the two spoke while the Grammy Award winner was going at Drake. “Hell yeah. That’s my guy!” he replied. Check out the full sit-down below.

As many fans remember, Pusha was one of the many, many names Lamar mentioned on last year’s “euphoria,” his response to Drake’s “Push Ups.” The pgLang founder rapped, “Yeah, f**k all that pushin’ P, let me see you push a T / You better off spinnin’ again on him, you think about pushin’ me / He’s Terrence Thornton, I’m Terence Crawford, yeah, I’m whoopin’ feet.”

Like many Hip Hop fans, Pusha T clearly appreciated the sheer amount of lyricism on the track. In fact, he previously described the song as “incredible” to Vulture. “Incredible display of battle raps. Listen, man, Kendrick…,” he said, while No Malice called it a “master class.”
Let God Sort Em Out arrived on streaming services with 13 songs, two of which were pre-release offerings: “So Be It” and “Ace Trumpets.” Among the newer standouts, Clipse reflected on losing their parents on “The Birds Don't Sing,” fans speculated who Tyler, The Creator took aim at on “P.O.V.,” and Lamar united with the duo on “Chains & Whips.”

Teyana Taylor Celebrates Lifelong Dream of Going to Culinary School: ‘I Was the Hood Betty Crocker'

Teyana Taylor is adding the culinary arts to her already stacked résumé.
On Friday, Taylor shared a post on Instagram revealing that she has started attending culinary school. The video showed the singer wearing what appears to be an Escoffier apron and a black hat, and busting a few dance moves to GloRilla's hit song "Let Her Cook" with her daughter, Iman, joining in on the fun right next to her.

"Went into my first day of Culinary school with a banggggggg s/o to my Twinskiiiiiii Junebuggggggg!," Teyana wrote. "Wow… it's really happening. A dream I've carried in my heart for so long is finally becoming a reality and I'm feeling every bit of it."
Taylor also reflected on her passion for cooking in her caption, explaining how it's a form of "peace" and "therapy" for her and shouting out the women she saw tearing up the kitchen when she was younger. According to Taylor, all those moments in the kitchen led to her baking cakes for people in her neighborhood of Harlem, New York, and becoming the "hood Betty Crocker."

"Through every twist and turn in my life and career, the kitchen has been a safe space," Taylor added. "So it was always a goal of mine to get my degree in Culinary arts & Pastry arts but I never got around to it due to my crazy work schedule, mommy life and simply life, life'nnnnn."

Based on the logo on her apron, Taylor is taking classes at the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts, which offers online courses that could fit the New York native's busy schedule. Newsweek recently put the school in its Top Online Colleges 2025 list.

To close out her caption, Taylor wrote that she gets to "take this love even deeper" by officially stepping into the world of culinary and pastry arts. She added that this new challenge in her life isn't just a passion, but also a purpose, and she's "excited to learn, to grow, and to honor the art form" that has been a part of her life and community.
Several of Taylor's peers chimed in on the news in the comment section, including Kerry Washington, who wrote, "YAAAAAAAS CHEF. this is SOOOOOOOOOOO inspiring!!!!!" and Ayo Edebiri, who said, "Omg yes chef."

Karrine Steffans Never Had Sex With Diddy 'To My Knowledge'
In a conversation with Piers Morgan, Steffans recalled her relationship with Diddy and how she saw him interact with people at parties. Steffans was a former music video model who set the hip-hop world on fire in the mid-2000s with the release of her Vixen book series, which highlighted the predatory nature of the industry and her own experiences with high-profile celebrities, including Diddy, Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, and others.

According to Steffans, there was a time when Diddy asked her if they were friends and hinted that if anything got out, his family would be significantly affected. Steffans also claimed that the disgraced mogul would do things such as telling her boyfriend at the time that he couldn't fully trust her, and that she didn't know what Diddy was talking about.

Steffans added that she couldn't figure out what had Diddy so anxious, before claiming she couldn't remember if they had sex.
"No Diddy and I...not to my knowledge. Honestly, I'm questioning a lot of things right now, but not to my knowledge," said Steffans. "No, I don't think anything right now, not to my knowledge."
Morgan told Steffans that her response to his question was "strange," which she confirmed. She attributed the answer to her reluctance to relive what she went through with Diddy. Morgan also asked Steffans if she believed Diddy took advantage of her while she was under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and she once again said she couldn't confirm that.

In many of the civil lawsuits against him, Diddy has been accused of drugging women before sexually assaulting them. Similar accusations were not brought up during his federal criminal trial. However, Cassie Ventura testified that when with Combs, they would both use GHB, known as the "date rape drug," recreationally.

"To my knowledge, I never had sex with Sean Combs. We never had that kind of relationship," Steffans said, before backtracking and telling Morgan she wasn't certain they'd never had sex.
Diddy was found guilty of transportation to engage in prostitution in his federal trial earlier this month, but not guilty of sex trafficking and racketeering. He is currently in prison awaiting sentencing, which is scheduled for October 3. This latest piece of news comes after Judge Arun Subramanian ruled Diddy would stay in jail until sentencing, and not be released on bond.

Columbus Short gets restraining order against wife

Columbus Short, the well-known actor, has recently taken legal action against his wife, Aida Abramyan, by obtaining a temporary restraining order following a troubling domestic incident. This situation reportedly escalated over their 10-week-old puppy, leading to allegations of physical violence and injury.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, the incident occurred on July 7, when Columbus confronted Aida about her alleged aggression towards their puppy. Reports indicate that Aida became violent, striking Columbus in the face multiple times, resulting in a cut above his eye that drew blood. A neighbor, hearing the commotion, called the police, who arrived to find Columbus with visible injuries, leading to Aida’s arrest.

This incident is not isolated; Columbus claims that Aida has exhibited aggressive behavior towards their puppy since he came home with the dog on June 21. He alleges that Aida reacted violently when the puppy urinated indoors, even kicking the dog. When Columbus attempted to intervene, he claims she struck him with a glass trophy.
In light of these events, Columbus Short is seeking a court order to keep Aida at least 100 yards away from him and their two children, Denzel and Liam. He has also requested her removal from their family home. This legal action underscores the seriousness of the allegations and the need for protection for Columbus and his children.

Columbus has further alleged that Aida engages in daily verbal abuse, claiming that she has previously pulled knives on him and even bitten him. The couple, who married in 2016, has faced numerous challenges in their relationship, which have now escalated to these alarming accusations.

These reactions highlight the complexities of public perception surrounding domestic disputes, particularly when they involve high-profile figures like Columbus Short.
The situation between Columbus Short and Aida Abramyan raises serious concerns about domestic violence and the treatment of pets in such disputes. As the legal proceedings unfold, it is crucial for the safety and well-being of all involved, especially the children and the puppy. The public’s reaction serves as a reminder of the societal implications of domestic violence and the importance of addressing these issues seriously.

Ryan Clark blasts RGIII after his latest wild claim about Angel Reese
Ryan Clark calls out RGIII’s ‘strange fascination’ with Angel Reese in light of his recent claims about the WNBA star.
Robert Griffin III (known as RGIII) and Ryan Clark are in yet another debate centered around Angel Reese, except this time, the WNBA star chimed in. On July 10, RGIII appeared to be coming to Reese’s defense in a lengthy tweet condemning the racist recreation of the Chicago Sky player’s 2K26 cover, which replaced Reese with the image of a monkey playing basketball.

“Alright. This has got to stop. There is no place for racism in this world,” Griffin wrote on X, which included an image of the racist meme. “Whether you like a player or not. Angel Reese should never be called or depicted as a Monkey.”
However, his message took a turn when the sports commentator not only accused the WNBA star of sharing a video that led to his family and friends receiving death threats but also claimed that unnamed “people in Angel’s inner circle” told him that he was correct about his previous speculation that Reese hates fellow WNBA player Caitlin Clark “because of the media always asking her about Caitlin and being constantly compared to her.”

His tweet prompted responses from both Reese, her mother and fellow sports commentator Ryan Clark.
“Man, stop with the 🧢 My daughter’s ‘circle’ is so small & tight, so I’d be interested [to] know who called U Whomever U say “called” U 🤔 is not in her circle [to] speak on her feelings towards a media/fandom made up beef. Just stay on that side bc the doors are closed over here,” Reese’s mother tweeted in response to his claim.

Reese later wrote: “Lying on this app when everybody know the first and last name of everybody in my circle for clout is nastyyyy work,” in a tweet addressing RGIII’s comments.
Clark, who got into a social media feud with RGIII in May for pushing the narrative that Reese hates Caitlin Clark, took to Instagram to share his take.

“RGIII seems to have a strange fascination with Angel Reese or connection to the spotlight that it brings,” the Pivot podcast host shared. “Angel Reese, this young, beautiful, talented, hard working, successful, black woman who is on an absolute tear in the WNBA  has an opportunity now to unveil her own shoe is depicted as a monkey in this graphic –– a graphic I only saw on [RGIII’s] page, so now his millions of followers can see this. And it should be easy to defend her against such deplorable hate, racism, bigotry, and evil. But he couldn’t do that. He had to make himself both the victim and the hero of this story.”

“He had to mention that Angel Reese did something to him instead of acknowledging what he initially did to her; he had to be the champion again for Caitlin Clark, I guess, against the young, angry Black woman by lying on her and her inner circle,” he continued. “So now Angel Reese, who should be in a celebration and trying to ignore the noise of all the evil and attacks that she feels every single day, has to come out, along with her mother, to shut down these lies and accusations from RGIII.”

A few months ago, Clark and RGIII got into a public sports feud that turned personal after RGIII dropped a lengthy anti-Reese video, inciting a narrative that Reese was jealous and resentful of Caitlin Clark’s popularity, which was riddled with racial undertones. While Clark abstained from making any comments about RGIII’s Blackness and wife this time, he did call out the way in which the former ESPN analyst uses his platform.

“We have to stop this. Because, by his own admission, he says, ‘if you don’t support people that don’t look like you, then you’re a part of the problem.’ Let me be clear, if you never support people who look like you, you are also a part of the problem,” Clark concluded. “God made us with the responsibility for inclusion, compassion, empathy, and love for all people. We also have that same responsibility for our people.”

Here’s Why Nicki Minaj Turned Down An Invitation To Join The Recording Academy

Nicki Minaj has countless accolades under her belt, and she’s now in a place where she doesn’t have to accept every opportunity presented to her. The Queens, N.Y., native recently revealed she declined an invitation to join The Recording Academy, the professional organization best known for hosting The Grammys.

“At one point, the Grammys asked me to be on the board. I appreciated it,” the “Super Bass” shared with her listeners. “That it was a very, very, very kind gesture but my integrity couldn’t allow me to accept it. This was before the release of Pink Friday 2.”
She went on to explain that although she saw the offer as “kind,” she didn’t fully align with the organization and ultimately chose to decline. “My integrity couldn’t allow me to sit on the board of something that made absolutely no sense to me and to anyone that understands,” she said. “So, I said no. I thought it was kind of them to try. Why would I be sitting on the board if I don’t have a Grammy?”
In response to a tweet about the situation, Nicki made sure to reiterate she called it a kind gesture. Listen below.

Over the course of her trailblazing career, Nicki Minaj has been nominated for 12 Grammys but has never secured a win. This has been a frequently discussed topic among her fanbase, as a majority of them feel her art deserves to be awarded by the Academy. Most recently, she was nominated for Best Song Written For Visual Media and Best Rap Song for “Barbie World” alongside Ice Spice in 2024.
The Grammys aren’t the only subject the Pinkprint artist has spoken about on socials this week. Minaj made headlines for her comments about JAY-Z allegedly owing her $200 million from her equity in Tidal.

“We’ve calculated about 100-200MM so far. #JayZ call me to settle this karmic debt. It’s only collecting more interest,” she wrote on X. “You still in my TOP 5 tho.” Elsewhere in her rant, she spoke about Roc Nation CEO Desiree Perez allegedly “abusing” her daughter, Megan Thee Stallion’s harassment lawsuit, and more

Trey Songz Under Investigation Over Alleged Assault On Cameraman

R&B artist Trey Songz is under investigation following allegations that he assaulted a cameraman outside a Long Island nightclub over the weekend. The incident reportedly took place early Sunday morning at The Ivy in Huntington, New York, where videographer Isaa Mansoor had been hired to document an event featuring the singer.

Speaking to TMZ Hip Hop, Mansoor said the club’s owner instructed him to film Trey Songz throughout the night, including his performance and interactions with guests. Mansoor claims Trey was informed ahead of time that media coverage had been authorized.
As the night progressed, tensions allegedly rose between Trey and some patrons. Mansoor says the singer grew visibly irritated by fans asking for pictures and videos. At the end of the event, the club owner reportedly asked Mansoor to capture a final shot of Trey near the venue’s logo out front. That’s when things escalated.

According to Mansoor, Trey responded with violence—striking him on the side of the head, slamming him into a wall, and destroying two of his cameras. When the owner intervened and identified Mansoor as his videographer, Trey allegedly dismissed him with profanity and raised his fist in a threatening manner.

Mansoor says he fled the scene and contacted police. Authorities confirmed that a report has been filed and an investigation is underway. Mansoor later sought medical treatment and was diagnosed with a concussion, migraine, and ankle injury. Doctors reportedly performed CT scans and X-rays before prescribing medication for pain management.
Trey Songz has yet to publicly address the allegations, and his representatives have not responded to requests for comment. This latest incident adds to a growing list of legal troubles for the singer, who recently released a single suggesting he was moving on from past controversies.

The investigation remains active as law enforcement works to gather more details. If charges are filed, the case could further complicate Trey Songz’s career at a time when public scrutiny around celebrity misconduct remains high.

Sarah Jessica Parker Finally Confirms She Dated Nicolas Cage After Years of Rumors
Sarah Jessica Parker is finally confirming the long-standing rumors that she dated Nicolas Cage.
The two actors starred together in the 1992 rom-com Honeymoon in Vegas, which earned multiple Golden Globe nominations.
Filming on the movie happened between August 1991 and November 1991, shortly before SJP met her now-husband Matthew Broderick, which means her relationship with Nicolas must have been a brief one during production.

SJP confirmed the former relationship during an interview on Watch What Happens Live on Sunday night (July 13) on Bravo.
After talking about how she knew Matthew was “the one” for her and how she told him “I love you” first, host Andy Cohen asked about the Nicolas Cage rumors.
“Um, yes I did [date him],” Sarah Jessica confirmed.

It seems that her relationship with Nicolas isn’t one that she brings up much as Andy is one of her longtime friends and they’ve never talked about it before. He replied, “Oh wow. We’ve got some talking to do!”

Jay-Z joins Beyoncé again during tour at Atlanta stop of her Cowboy Carter Tour

Beyoncé-Knowles-Carter delivered her third show in Atlanta with a massive surprise, bringing out her husband, Jay-Z, for the first time on the U.S. leg of the tour following his cameo in Paris.
The Grammy-winning singer kicked off her show at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta on Sunday, July 13, marking her third of four shows at the stadium on her Cowboy Carter and the Rodeo Chitlin' Circuit Tour. During the concert, Beyoncé shocked the lively crowd when she welcomed Jay-Z to the stage as they sang their 2003 song, "Crazy in Love."

"Give it up for my man Jay-Z," Beyoncé said as he took the stage to roaring cheers from the crowd.
The hip-hop mogul went on to perform another 2003 hit – "Public Service Announcement."
The surprise appearance marked the second time Jay joined Beyoncé onstage on her "Cowboy Carter" tour – and his first time doing so in the U.S.

Jay-Z first took the stage with Beyoncé on this tour during Beyoncé's third concert at Stade de France in Paris on June 22, her last overseas show. He performed the same tunes along with his hit song, "N***as in Paris." With this surprise also came the return of her 2013 tracks "Partition" and "Drunk in Love."

Before exiting the stage, Bey and Jay shared a kiss on stage. One fan wrote "Paris and ATL won."
While doling out thanks toward the end of the show, Beyoncé said, "Please give it up for my favorite human in the world – my husband."
Beyoncé first debuted her "Cowboy Carter" tour at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on April 28 with 39 songs on the set list. Her shows have been filled with family, fashion, different music genres, and most notably country music and cultural commentary.

The nine-city tour has spanned the U.S. and Europe with the grand finale taking place in Las Vegas on July 26.

Diddy Cleared in the Keefe D Tupac Case
Last year it was reported that prosecutors had an audio confession of West Coast gangster, Duane 'Keefe D' Davis, claiming Bad Boy Entertainment CEO, Sean 'Diddy' Combs, put a hit on rival Tupac Shakur
Now the prosecutors have decided not to use the Diddy evidence in Keefe's trial...

DIDDY will avoid another potential court case drama over claims he ordered the murder of Tupac Shakur for $1 million, The U.S. Sun can exclusively reveal.
Prosecutors in the Las Vegas criminal case have decided to steer clear of trying to bring Diddy in as a potential witness or even mentioning his alleged involvement in Pac’s 1996 death, according to sources.
That move comes even though Clark County prosecutors entered in as evidence a damning police interview tape in which suspect Duane “Keefe D” Davis alleges Diddy offered him one million dollars to kill Shakur.

Last week Sean Combs was convicted on two counts of transportation for prostitution of his ex-girlfriend, singer Cassie Ventura, and another woman in a New York court - but was acquitted on racketeering and sex trafficking charges.
Insiders say that prosecutors considered Diddy playing a role in their murder charge against Keefe, but since the NYC case decision have dropped that strategy.
The development comes as two sources say that self confessed gangster Keefe is “super confident” of being found innocent in the Pac case - despite multiple confessions to overseeing the assassination.

We can reveal that investigators have not located a “murder weapon” or any surveillance footage which could confirm Keefe was in Sin City at the time of the drive-by murder.
They have spent over a year attempting to locate hotel billing, surveillance footage, public services records and bank transactions tying Davis to Vegas.
Keefe's lawyer Carl Arnold insists there is “zero proof” that his client was in Vegas on September 7, 1996.
Arnold says Keefe has lied many times and claimed to be a “shot caller” for the murder to police and media to gain “fame and fortune.”

The Las Vegas source said: “Diddy will not be brought into this prosecution case given the complicated nature of this case and following what happened in his New York case.
“Certainly if he would have been found guilty on all counts in New York then Vegas would have looked at what to do with the one million dollar order.

Kanye West Reacts to New Lauren Pisciotta Claims

Last week Kanye West's former personal assistant Lauren Pisciotta amended her breach of contract, sixual harassment, and wrongful termination lawsuit to include human trafficking  Kanye responds to the new allegations...Kanye West is denying shocking allegations of sixual assault and six trafficking made by his former assistant, Lauren Pisciotta.
On Sunday, a Yeezy spokesperson issued a statement to DailyMail.com, criticizing the 48-year-old rapper's former employee's amended complaint against him, which they point out is the 'the fourth version she has advanced.'
'Each new revision contradicts the others; each is more absurd and outlandish than all previous claims combined,' the Yeezy rep insisted. 'Does Ms. Pisciotta actually believe her confabulations? We cannot know. But this breathless new installment of fantasy fiction discredits all past, present and future testimony.'

The spokesperson continued: 'We stand ready to annihilate Ms. Pisciotta's tall tales before a jury—an exoneration so inevitable that even she, lost in her fog of fantasy, must surely see it coming.'
Yeezy representative Milo Yiannopoulos also addressed the matter, highlighting 'the absurdity of Pisciotta's quadruply revised claims, which now include kidnapping, battery, rxpe, false imprisonment and even six trafficking.'
'She picked the one rapper who loathes violence, has never been arrested, and doesn't even own a gun,' Yiannopoulos claimed.
In response to the statements above, Pisciotta's attorney, Lisa Bloom, told DailyMail.com: 'While Kanye West's publicist has come up with a slickly worded (and outrageously false and defamatory) attack on Ms. Pisciotta, Kanye himself has publicly admitted much of what she's claiming.'

'Kanye’s publicist is deafeningly silent on Kanye's own admissions, which will destroy him in court. We look forward to seeing him there, where he cannot hide behind a high priced spin team,' Bloom concluded.

James Gunn Got Bradley Cooper for ‘Superman’ Cameo Because He Needed ‘Somebody That Could Walk In the Footsteps of Marlon Brando
James Gunn has high praise for Bradley Cooper, which is why he needed him for a very important cameo in “Superman.”
In the opening moments of the DC tentpole, Cooper appears as Jor-El, the father of Superman. The role was first brought to the big screen by legendary actor Marlon Brando in the original 1978 “Superman.” During a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Gunn said he cast Cooper with Brando’s performance in mind, knowing he could keep with the foremost portrayal of Jor-El.

“I needed somebody who could play Jor-El, who had the stature of what we imagine that character to be,” Gunn explained. “Somebody that could walk in the footsteps of Marlon Brando.”
Gunn previously collaborated with Cooper on the “Guardians of the Galaxy” trilogy, in which the “Silver Linings Playbook” star played Rocket Raccoon. The director said on an episode of “Jake’s Takes” that the relationship he formed with Cooper during those films made it easy to lock him in for “Superman.”

“He’s a friend,” Gunn said. “We’ve stayed in close contact since the ‘Guardians’ movies, and I admire him greatly as an actor and as a director.” Gunn added that he called Cooper and asked, “Hey, will you do me a favor? Come down, go to England, we’re going to shoot you in a 3D environment, make a hologram of you, and you can play Jor-El.”
David Corenswet and Nicholas Hoult lead the cast of Gunn’s “Superman” as the titular Man of Steel and the villainous Lex Luthor, respectively. Other cast members include Rachel Brosnahan (Lois Lane), Skyler Gisondo (Jimmy Olsen), Anthony Carrigan (Metamorpho), Edi Gathegi (Mister Terrific), Nathan Fillon (Guy Gardner) and Isabela Merced (Hawkgirl).

Olivia Culpo and Christian McCaffrey has had their Baby!

Olivia Culpo and Christian McCaffrey are officially parents. The model and former Miss Universe, 33, gave birth to a baby girl, their first child together, on July 13. They revealed her name-- Colette Annalise McCaffrey-- in a joint Instagram post on Sunday. The duo shared a close-up of the newborn’s tiny hand. It was a simple caption with a white heart emoji.

In her Instagram Stories, Culpo posted a quiet moment of McCaffrey watching over their daughter in the hospital. “Colette is so lucky to have the best daddy in the world. A love like no other,” she wrote.

Olivia Culpo opens up about her birth-giving experience
Culpo, who has spoken openly in the past about her hopes for motherhood, shared that she had a C-section. She described the procedure as “the scariest and most rewarding of all experiences,” later adding, “As soon as [Christian] came into the room, I felt most at peace,” reports US Weekly.

The couple’s pregnancy announcement came in March. Culpo posted black-and-white photos from a maternity shoot, captioned, “Next chapter, motherhood.” In another post, she and McCaffrey walked hand-in-hand through a field, showing off her baby bump.
They had kept most of the pregnancy private, though not without some teasing from family. Her sister Sophia joked in January that Culpo tried to hide the bump by holding her dog in front of it. “Now you all know why her nickname is Oblivia … she ain’t stealth,” Sophia wrote, as per US Weekly.

From Olivia Culpo and Christian McCaffrey's blind date to baby joy
Culpo and McCaffrey met in 2019 through a blind date and began dating later that year. They went public in February 2020, and he proposed in April 2023. Their wedding took place in Watch Hill, Rhode Island, in June 2024.

Long before their engagement, Culpo had discussed fertility concerns. On The Culpo Sisters in 2022, she said, “I’ve been making decisions out of fear for the future... There’s a lot of pressure that I’ve been putting on my relationship because of fertility.” She later decided to freeze her eggs.
In a TikTok video from October 2023, Culpo admitted she was ready to start trying for a baby right after getting married. “I wanted to rip out my IUD and start trying immediately,” she said.

Her older sister, Aurora, had no doubts she’d step into motherhood naturally. “I know she’s going to be a really loving mother. I know that she’s going to be very prepared,” she told People last year.

Love Island USA’ Season 7 Crowns Its Winners
The public’s final vote for “Love Island USA” Season 7 selected Amaya Espinal and Bryan Arenales as the winners of the reality dating series.
'Love Island USA' Stars Chelley and Ace on Dating Exclusively, Meeting Families and Shocking Dinner Elimination: 'It Was Very Evident That's What America Wanted'
Espinal and Arenales, Huda Mustafa and Chris Seeley, Iris Kendall and Jose “Pepe” Garcia-Gonzales and Olandria Carthen and Nic Vansteenberghe ascended as the final four couples before America selected who they believed had the strongest connection and was worthy of the $100,000 cash prize.

Leading up to the final four, the fate of two couples was cut short. For the past week, the public had the opportunity to vote for their favorite couples. The couple with the least amount of votes were left at risk of being dumped from the island. On Tuesday, Taylor Williams and Clarke Carraway were the first couple to leave shortly after deciding to date exclusively. Following their departure was Chelley Bissainthe and Ace Greene during Episode 33 on Thursday, July 10.

The series returned for Season 7 on June 3 and set new records for becoming the second most-watched streaming show on TV in its second week. According to Luminate’s streaming data, the new season garnered 1.2 billion minutes viewed across the nine available episodes from June 6 to 12.

From over-the-top challenges, dramatic eliminations, jaw-dropping moments, iconic bombshells and even a surprise appearance from Megan Thee Stallion, audiences were hooked to their TV screens for six days a week since its premiere. Although old and new fans tuned in daily, many viewers expressed that they are ready for the current season to end and have dubbed it the “worst season yet.”
Over the course of six weeks, the show has faced several challenges that altered the fate of this season. Between two islanders being kicked off after past racist posts resurfaced, producers switching and removing fan-favorite challenges to fewer recouplings and the fandom becoming more toxic, viewers felt that the experience was tainted by these factors. Yet, fans tuned in one last time to cast their final votes on who they believed where deserving of the prize money after such a tumultuous season.

Before officially closing out the series, Madix announced that “Love Island USA” Season 7 would have a reunion that is scheduled to air on Peacock on Aug. 25. The Season 7 reunion will be hosted by Madix and Andy Cohen (“Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen”), where this season’s winners and eliminated islanders will reflect on their time in the villa, shocking revelations, and Season 7’s most talked about moments.

Laila Ali Says She’s Open to Fighting Claressa Shields—But Only If the $20 Million Check Clears

Laila Ali might be lacing up her gloves again—but only if the offer is big enough. The former world champion, who retired in 2007, fuelled speculation when she responded to recent chatter about a potential fight with Claressa Shields. When pressed during a recent interview with reporters from FightHype, she didn’t mince her expectations: “Unless somebody has $15‑$20 million, don’t even call me about this.”

She went on: “Unless somebody calls me and says they have it, we’re not going to have a conversation. I’m not trying to come back and fight, but if someone offered that kind of money, I would actually have to think about it.” Then, with a confident self-assessment, she added before walking off, “Do I look like I could fight again? I think so too.”

A clash between Ali and Shields would undoubtedly draw massive attention. Shields, a dominant multi‑world champion, has been widely regarded as the top active female boxer on the planet. Ali, of course, remains a legend in her own right: a former multi‑title holder and one of the most celebrated female professionals in boxing history.

Interest in this matchup might reach a fever pitch if a high‑profile backer emerges. One name already floated is Saudi Arabian sports promoter Turki Al‑Sheikh. He has established himself as a major force in global boxing, funding marquee events and helping transform Saudi Arabia into a premier home for the sport. If Al‑Sheikh, or anyone else, can meet Ali’s expensive threshold, fans may finally get the dream showdown: a return from the retirement stage for Ali, and a blockbuster battle with Shields on the line.
