#MAGFAB: Sacha Baron Cohen For Mens Fitness Magazine UK
Sacha Baron Cohen is ripped, new photos from Men’s Fitness UK revealed Wednesday, just a week after ex-wife Isla Fisher’s dig about men with “little sausages.”

Baron Cohen revealed his newly muscled bod to the magazine as he transforms himself to play Marvel supervillain Mephisto. The Borat actor quipped on Instagram that he was “hard-launching my mid-life crisis” with the magazine spread.
“From Borat to Buff in 25 Minutes a Day,” the tagline on the cover reads, a bit incredulously given the extend of his physical transformation.
The new physique comes a little over a year after he and Fisher announced they had filed for divorce the year prior, and it is now finalized. “We are proud of all we’ve achieved together and, continuing our great respect for each other, we remain friends and committed to co-parenting our wonderful children,” they wrote in a joint statement at the time, where they declared their commitment to “co-parenting” their three children.

Neither actor has said anything else about the split, but Fisher re-posted a meme last Wednesday that seemed to comment on the marriage. The Instagram Stories post read, “For all those men who say ‘Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?’ Here’s an update for you, Nowadays, 80% of women are against marriage. Why? Because women realize it’s not worth buying an entire pig, just to get a little sausage.”
Baron Cohen had no retort at the time, but has since beefed up in other ways. “Some celebs use Ozempic, some use private chefs, others use personal trainers,” he wrote on social media Wednesday. “I did all three.”
The transformation is more than just prep for his Marvel role, apparently. Baron Cohen also made another “identity” joke on Instagram about the body-reveal photos when he wrote that he was “debuting my new character: middle-aged man who replaced beer with protein shakes.” Deadline reports that the Mephisto costume had to be altered to accommodate his new “mid-life crisis” bod, suggesting he’d taken his workouts even further than the role required.

Baron Cohen joked to Men’s Fitness UK, “I now believe that just 20 to 30 minutes of movement a day can make a real difference—and it’s something that anyone can fit into their routine, especially celebrities with personal assistants to do all the boring stuff like shopping and attending friends’ funerals.”
Acknowledging that it might be jarring for some fans to see the previously lanky comedian’s ripped transformation on the cover of a men’s magazine, he wrote to Instagram, “This is not AI. I really am egotistical enough to do this.”

#RHOA: Cynthia Bailey & Former NFL TE Vernon Davis Topline Sports Drama ‘Diamond’
According to Deadline Hollywood Cynthia Bailey (The Real Housewives of Atlanta), former NFL star turned actor Vernon Davis (The Ritual Killer), and Jemarcus Kilgore (All’s Fair) are set to star in the upcoming sports drama Diamond.

The coming-of-age drama follows 17-year-old basketball phenom Diamond McCarren (Kilgore) as he fights to escape the cycle of trauma threatening to consume his future. With his father (Davis) behind bars and his mother (Bailey) spiraling deeper into heroin addiction, Diamond shoulders the weight of a broken home while clinging to the hope of a Division I scholarship.

Just as his shot at a better life arrives — a college coach’s visit — his mother suffers a devastating overdose. Torn between chasing his dream and caring for the only parent he has left, Diamond makes a life-altering decision that challenges everything he thought he knew about loyalty, ambition, and manhood. In the aftermath, his sacrifice becomes the first step toward healing a family on the brink.

The film is penned by DeShon Hardy, who will also direct and produce. Davis will executive produce the project under his Reel 85 Productions banner. Filming is set to begin this weekend in Asbury Park, New Jersey.
Hardy said: “Diamond is more than a sports story. At its core, this film is about resilience, survival, healing from generational trauma, and the transformative power of love. I wanted to shine a light on the strength it takes for families to rise above circumstance, and how even in the darkest places, hope can survive.”

Davis commented: “When I read the script for Diamond, I was immediately drawn to its honesty and emotional depth. I’m proud to help bring a film to life that not only entertains, but also sparks conversation and inspires change.”
Bailey added: “This story really touched with me. It showed how families can stay together through any and everything. I wanted the opportunity to play a meaningful role and when I read this script I knew this was it.”

#RIP: Chuck Mangione, Smooth Jazz Icon Who Made the World "Feel So Good," Dies at 84

Chuck Mangione, the Grammy-winning flugelhornist and trumpeter whose unmistakable sound helped bridge jazz and pop in the 1970s and beyond, died July 22 at the age of 84 in his hometown of Rochester, New York. Best known for his 1978 crossover hit “Feels So Good,” Mangione leaves behind a legacy that reshaped how jazz could live in the mainstream — melodic, emotional, and accessible, yet still steeped in the artform’s rich traditions.

Born Charles Frank Mangione on November 29, 1940, Mangione grew up in a music-loving Italian-American family on the streets of Rochester. Alongside his brother Gap, a pianist, he formed the Jazz Brothers while still in high school. The pair recorded multiple albums with Riverside Records, already making waves in the jazz world by the early 1960s.

Mangione's talent quickly caught the attention of some of jazz’s most formidable figures. After graduating from the Eastman School of Music in 1963, he was tapped to join Art Blakey’s Jazz Messengers — a group legendary for launching the careers of hard bop icons like Lee Morgan and Freddie Hubbard. Mangione took his place among those trumpet greats, playing with fire and finesse that would come to define his sound.

Though steeped in straight-ahead jazz, Mangione was never content to stay in one lane. By the early 1970s, he was fusing jazz with orchestral arrangements, rock grooves, and pop melodies. Albums like Friends and Love and Bellavia (which earned him his first Grammy in 1977) showcased his knack for writing sweeping, cinematic pieces that appealed to both jazz aficionados and new listeners alike.

His breakthrough came in 1978 with Feels So Good, an album and title track that defied genre boundaries. The smooth, soaring instrumental became a cultural phenomenon, peaking at No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 — a rare feat for a jazz recording. It was, as Current Biography once put it, “the most recognized tune since 'Michelle' by The Beatles.”

Mangione had found the formula for a new kind of jazz stardom — warm, welcoming, and emotionally direct. At a time when fusion was pushing jazz toward abstraction and complexity, Mangione brought it back to the heart.
His music became synonymous with some of the most high-profile events of the late 20th century. “Chase the Clouds Away” was used during the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, and “Give It All You Got” became the theme of the 1980 Winter Games in Lake Placid. In 1978, he composed the sweeping soundtrack to The Children of Sanchez, which earned him his second Grammy.

Live, Mangione brought the same energy and polish. His 1978 concert at the Hollywood Bowl — recorded for the double album An Evening of Magic — featured his band backed by a 70-piece orchestra, and remains one of the most ambitious and beloved live jazz albums of its era.

Despite his international success, Mangione remained devoted to his roots in Rochester. He returned to the Eastman School of Music to teach and direct the jazz ensemble, and was inducted into the Rochester Music Hall of Fame in 2012. He was known for his generosity, holding benefit concerts for local causes and disaster relief, including a nine-hour fundraiser for victims of the 1980 earthquake in Italy.
Though he made tongue-in-cheek appearances on shows like Magnum, P.I. and voiced a running gag version of himself on King of the Hill, Mangione’s enduring popularity stemmed from much more than pop culture cameos. His music, spanning more than 30 albums across five decades, helped demystify jazz for millions and opened the door for artists exploring the borderlands of genre.

His flugelhorn — rich, buttery, instantly recognizable — became a sound synonymous with feeling good. And yet, behind the catchy hooks and laid-back grooves was a deeply serious musician with a relentless work ethic and a sincere desire to connect.
Chuck Mangione died peacefully in his sleep on July 22, 2025. His family described him simply as a man who “brought joy through music.” And indeed, from Olympic arenas to late-night jazz clubs, from FM radio to family living rooms, Mangione did just that.
In the end, his legacy is not just a single hit, but a body of work that proved jazz could be heartfelt, inclusive, and, above all, memorable. Chuck Mangione didn’t just play jazz — he made it feel good.

#HipHopNews: Joe Budden’s Podcast Slaughters the Competition by Making Over $1 Million a Month!
Joe Budden's The Joe Budden Podcast is making over $1 million a month on Patreon.
On Tuesday (July 22), The New York Times published an article where they explored the ex-rapper's podcast empire. According to inside numbers shared by Joe with the newspaper, he is earning $1.04 million a month on the crowdfunding subscription service Patreon. He is expected to pull in over $12 million on Patreon this year alone, making him the top earner on the platform.

By the end of the year, the Joe Budden Network is on a pace to rake in over $20 million in 2025, including advertising revenue, according to JBN chief executive Ian Schwartzman.
The Joe Budden Podcast has around 70,000 paying subscribers. Subscription tiers range from $5 to $50 per month. Subscribers get access to episodes early in addition to more episodes and spin-off shows.

In addition to Patreon, the Joe Budden Podcast makes millions of dollars in ad revenue. Budden's company sells its own ads instead of dealing with larger networks and therefore eliminates a middleman. Merch and licensing revenue also contribute to the show's bottom line.
Joe Budden has been in the hip-hop podcast game for over a decade. He began in 2015 with I'll Name This Podcast Later before starting The Joe Budden Podcast in 2016. In 2018, he inked an exclusive deal with Spotify, which paid the show less than $2 million per year, according to Schwartzman.

After the deal ended in 2020, Joe launched the Joe Budden Network. In 2021, he partnered with Patreon, which included equity in the company and advisory roles for Budden and Schwartzman.
"Joe is in a league of his own," said Jack Conte, chief executive of Patreon. "It is not common for people to make a million dollars a month on Patreon."

Joe's current cohosts include Queenzflip, Marc Lamont Hill, Melyssa Ford, Parks Vallely, Ish and Ice.

‘South Park’ In Their Savage Season 27 Premiere Episode they Take Aim At Trump & Paramount!

Hours after South Park co-creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone signed a new five-year overall deal with Paramount Global, the long-running animated series took aim at the network’s dealings with Donald Trump.
Wednesday’s Season 27 premiere featured the president complaining about the size of his manhood in an official painting, then crawling into bed with and trying to be amorous with Satan, who rejects him and complains about the size of Trump’s manhood. And, for the record, said manhood is seen (well barely, given its size) multiple times throughout the episode, including in a photorealistic segment at the end of the show. More on that below.

There are also multiple paintings scattered throughout the fictional White House that poke fun at Trump’s military bravado. Another image seems to involve Trump and a sheep engaged in an activity not meant for polite company.
Rather than depicting Trump in the South Park style, Parker and Stone use actual photos of the president’s face in the animation — lest there be any confusion about whom they are referencing.

Fans on social media speculated it’s only a matter of time before Trump sues the show as well. “I give it 15 more minutes before Trump is demanding the cancellation of South Park lmfao,” wrote one viewer on X.
In the episode, titled ‘Sermon on the ‘Mount’, the residents of South Park come together when the kids’ school principal literally brings Jesus into the classroom. The town’s parents riot, prompting a $5 billion lawsuit from Trump.

Earlier, Cartman is upset over the cancellation of NPR, which his mother tells him is Trump’s doing. He likes the service because he sees the wokeness as comedy.
“The government can’t cancel the show, I mean, what show are they going to cancel next?” says Cartman.

At one point, Satan confronts Trump about rumors he’s on the Epstein list, a topic that sparked Trump’s lawsuit against Wall Street Journal publisher Dow Jones and owner Rupert Murdoch.
Stone and Parker also take a shot at Paramount‘s settlement of Trump’s lawsuit against 60 Minutes with two nervous-looking anchors intro-ing a segment for the show about the president suing the town South Park itself. Cut to the residents, who say they’re fighting back against the literal presence of Jesus in their kids’ school. “We all know the woke stuff went too far, but the answer isn’t going too far the other way,” says one.

Cue Jesus, who descends from the heavens and tells the townspeople in a whisper, “I didn’t want to come back and be at the school, but I had to as part of a lawsuit and the agreement…You guys saw what happened to CBS! You really want to end up like Colbert? You guys gotta stop being stupid.”

A frightened Jesus then goes on to warn the assembled citizens that Trump “has the power to sue and take bribes and can do anything to anyone.”
The episode ends with a lawyer telling the townsfolk that they’ll need to pay the president $3.5 million, do some “pro-trump messaging” and create a PSA.
Said PSA appears to be a clip from Deep Fake: The Movie, which Stone said in 2022 was “sort of on hold,” as Parker told the Los Angeles Times it “was about this guy who looked exactly like Trump because we deep fake Trump’s face onto him. And it was this whole funny thing because, of course, it ends up with Trump just naked and getting run through the wringer and everything, and that’s why it was so funny and so timely.”

The PSA ends with the tag line, “Trump: His penis is teeny tiny, but his love for us is large”
Following the Season 26 finale in March 2023, Stone and Parker explained to Vanity Fair why, in addition to “waiting for Paramount to figure all their sh** out,” they weren’t in a rush to return to production.
“We’ve tried to do South Park through four or five presidential elections, and it is such a hard thing to—it’s such a mind scramble, and it seems like it takes outsized importance,” said Stone.

Parker added, “Obviously, it’s f***ing important, but it kind of takes over everything and we just have less fun. I don’t know what more we could possibly say about Trump.”
Earlier on Wednesday, Parker and Stone signed a new five-year overall deal with Paramount Global through their company Park County.
Additionally, South Park Digital Studios, the joint venture behind the animated hit co-owned by Paramount and Park County, has entered into an exclusive five-year license deal with Paramount+, reportedly worth $1.5 billion.

The pacts cover 50 new episodes over five seasons and all 26 previous seasons of South Park, which will continue on Comedy Central and be available on Paramount+.
Meanwhile, Paramount is under fire for canceling The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on the heels of the company’s $16M settlement with Trump, which has been scrutinized as potential bribery by some lawmakers. Following Colbert’s ongoing jokes at the president’s expense, Trump has celebrated the talk show’s cancellation.

Brandy Norwood To Star Opposite Daughter Sy’Rai Smith In Lifetime Holiday Movie ‘Christmas Everyday’
It’s a family affair for Grammy Award-winning singer and actress Brandy Norwood, who will star opposite her daughter Sy’Rai Smith, in her acting debut, in the new Lifetime holiday film Christmas Everyday.
The title, which Norwood also executive produces, will serve as the tentpole to the network’s “It’s a Wonderful Lifetime” slate. Additional titles will be announced soon.

In Christmas Everyday, Norwood portrays Francine “Fancy” Ballantine, a devoted fashion designer juggling family obligations and career ambitions.
Following the death of her father, Fancy has been more determined than ever to uphold his cherished Christmas traditions as her mother Evelyn (Debbi Morgan) has also begun losing her sight. But things aren’t a smooth ride as Fancy simultaneously plans her bridezilla baby sister, Belle’s (Smith), wedding. When a water pipe bursts and disrupts the fairytale wedding plans, Fancy finds herself unexpectedly drawn to the rugged, yet charming, contractor Jaylen (Robert C Riley), tasked with renovating the house. Through all the chaos, she learns valuable lessons about faith, family, and the true meaning of Christmas.

The movie will feature Norwood’s 2023 holiday song of the same name. Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman (UnReal) also stars as Fancy’s co-worker Germaine.
“The holidays are always about family as part of the festivities, so I’m beyond thrilled to be partnering with Lifetime on this magical holiday project and having my own daughter star with me – even though we are playing sisters!” Norwood shared. “It’s a Wonderful Lifetime has become such a beloved tradition, and I’m honored to star and executive produce.”

Alongside Norwood, executive producers include Stella Bulochnikov, Dr. Holly Carter and Ryan Ramsey as well as Fernando Szew, Hannah Pillemer, Larry Grimaldi and Adam Shepard for Fox Entertainment Studios, which produces the movie. Christmas Everyday will be directed by Roger Bobb and is based on a script written by Meg DeLoatch and Cameron Ross. Fox Entertainment Global will distribute the film internationally.

Norwood is repped by CAA and SALXCO.

Michael Jackson Biopic Moves to Spring 2026 Release

The Michael Jackson biopic from Lionsgate and Universal is looking to thrill audiences next year.
Director Antoine Fuqua‘s Michael is set to hit theaters and IMAX on April 24, 2026, after delaying its release several times, most recently having been dated for the fall of 2025. Marking his feature debut is Jackson’s nephew Jaafar Jackson in the lead role as the pop music icon. Lionsgate is distributing the movie domestically, while Universal handles the global launch.

The Hollywood Reporter previously reported that Michael was set for 22 days of additional photography to take place in June. Sources noted at the time that the film, initially intended to span the star’s life and have a lengthy run time, was now expected to end with Jackson leaving his family’s group The Jacksons after the release of his first solo album, 1979’s Off the Wall.

Puck reported in January that Michael’s previously planned third act had to be retooled, due to it including a dramatization of an individual who accused Jackson of child sexual abuse. The accuser had a past settlement with the performer’s estate stipulating that he would never be dramatized.
Sources tell THR that a second film, focusing on the rest of Jackson’s career, remains in development. Jackson certainly accomplished a lot in the music world after 1979, given that his 1982 album, Thriller, featuring singles “Beat It” and “Billie Jean,” remains the best-selling album ever. Jackson died in June 2009 at age 50.

Michael’s cast includes Colman Domingo as the star’s father, Joe Jackson, and Nia Long as his mother, Katherine. Rounding out the cast are Miles Teller, Laura Harrier, Kat Graham, Larenz Tate and Derek Luke. Graham King, John Branca and John McClain produce the movie that has a script from John Logan.
Footage from Michael debuted at CinemaCon last year, with producer King revealing that the film would include 30 songs. At this year’s CinemaCon in April, Lionsgate film chair Adam Fogelson teased the audience that news about the project would be forthcoming but did mention a release date. Michael had previously been scheduled to hit theaters in April 2025 before shifting its release to October of this year.

“Ever since we debuted some early Michael footage at CinemaCon last year, it’s been crystal clear how much global interest and enthusiasm there is,” Fogelson said in April. “Much has happened since, and while we aren’t quite ready to share more, we’re going to have some very big and exciting things to say in the coming weeks. So be patient, and stay tuned.”

Klay Thompson & Megan Thee Stallion Make Their Romance Tee Off With Adorable Golf Date
Love is in full swing for Klay Thompson and Megan Thee Stallion!
The Dallas Mavericks shooting guard and the Grammy-winning rapper took their blossoming romance to the golf course, and Megan shared every adorable moment with her fans on Instagram and TikTok on Wednesday, July 23.

And yes, Frens—it was giving cute, coordinated couple energy with a side of “Protect Your Energy” realness.
The video opens with Megan letting fans in on a little secret—Klay picked out her outfit for their day date.
The NBA star made a quick run to Academy Sports + Outdoors and came back with two fashion-forward options:

A pink athletic skirt with a lavender collared tee
A black athletic skirt paired with a white T-shirt
Megan ultimately chose the pink skirt and white tee combo, while Klay kept it cool in black shorts, a baby blue polo, and a hat that read “Protect your energy.”
After a quick meeting, Megan linked up with Klay and the two rode off in a golf cart—driven by the man himself—before strolling around the course and soaking in nature.
At one point, Megan excitedly pointed out some fish in a nearby lake, while Klay kicked back and took it all in like a proud man.

And yes, she asked the very important question:
“You picked it? You think it’s cute?”
Klay, clearly impressed with his own styling skills, responded, “Uh-huh. You even got the cute shoes on and the shirt. I did well. I’m really proud of myself.”

The pair shared laughs as they hit balls across the nine-hole course, with Klay jokingly channeling his inner Tiger Woods.
After a solid swing, he called Megan his “good luck charm”—and we love a man who gives credit where it’s due!
Megan even gave golfing a shot, with Klay by her side guiding her form like the supportive boo he is.
The video wraps with a kiss between the lovebirds and Klay happily declaring, “Ever since I’ve been in love, my golf game’s reaped all the benefits.”

Somebody cue the rom-com music!

Man Punched By Florida Officer Speaks Out After Viral Arrest: “I Was Really Just Scared”

The man who was the subject of a violent arrest in a viral video is speaking out about the disturbing incident. William McNeal Jr. held a press conference with his family, attorneys Ben Crump and Harry Daniels, and additional advocates, to explain his perspective. The traumatic video showed McNeal being punched by a Jacksonville Sheriff’s Officer during a traffic stop before being removed from his vehicle and arrested. The press conference was livestreamed by local news station Action News Jax.

“That day, I just wanted to know why I was getting pulled over [and] why I needed to step out of the car. I knew I didn’t do anything wrong,” McNeil detailed. “I was really just scared.”
His stepfather, Alton Solomon, also spoke on behalf of his “son” and explained, “I’ve been through what he’s been through. To see that moment made me go back to when I was 22. It hurt. It made me upset.” He continued emotionally, fighting back tears, “To see that is a hurting feeling.”
Crump, who also spoke at the press conference, expanded on his thoughts with CNN News Central anchor Kate Bolduan.
“Do not listen to justification. Believe your eyes. Believe your ears with this. Ocular proof — there’s audio proof.  And the sheriff cannot justify this,” explained the famed legal professional.

“He cannot condone this. You must condemn this. I mean, there is no way you can say this reflects your policies, your training, your values. This is very disturbing on every level […] He literally was having a 21st-century Rosa Parks moment where an African American asked that they be respected as citizens with all the constitutional guarantees that are promised to all American citizens. That’s what this was.”

Following McNeal’s press conference, Jacksonville Sheriff T.K. Waters issued the following statement per Action News:
“In light of William McNeil Jr.’s public announcement that he has retained counsel, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office will not offer any further comment regarding the circumstances surrounding McNeil’s February 19th arrest. Our agency has publicly released body-worn camera footage pertaining to this matter, and I provided a briefing on the status of the investigation earlier this week. This publicly shared information is currently available on all JSO’s social media platforms and our transparency portal. However, in anticipation of litigation, our agency will not speak further on this matter.”

Wendy Williams’ Lawyers Intend To Sue Those Responsible For “Very Scary” Guardianship

Wendy Williams is preparing to go to court, but this time, her attorney, Joe Tacopina, is planning on suing those responsible for her “very scary” guardianship.
In a conversation with TMZ, Williams and Tacopina were stopped leaving Fresco by Scotto in New York City Tuesday (July 22) following a birthday celebration for the radio-TV icon.

When asked about “what’s next” for Williams’ ongoing legal battle, Tacopina declared, “It’s hopefully justice.” He clarified that though he’s not a “guardianship attorney,” he opened up about the “despicably slow” process.

In regard to a potential lawsuit, Tacopina said, “Those responsible for her status, basically her incarceration, will be held accountable. There’s no question about that. My goal right now and the priority is to get her back home— whatever home is, where she can come and goes as she pleases.”
Last month, Williams’ ex-husband filed a lawsuit against her guardian and guardianship for $250 million and claims it was on her behalf.

Despite her being in a facility, Tacopina added, “Wendy’s Wendy! We’ve had conversations over the course of six months, she’s the same Wendy Williams we know from TV […] She’s a great human being in control of her faculties and it sickens me. It’s not even about a case, but a cause.”

Williams, who’d just turned 61, chimed in by noting, “I just had a birthday and I’m still in a guardianship, if that doesn’t say enough I don’t know what does.”
Tacopina has been reached out to by others in similar situations, but admitted, “Right now, my focus is on Wendy. I have to get her through this […] Once you’re in the vortex of the guardianship proceeding, it’s hard to get out even if you’re like Wendy.”
Williams has been in a court-ordered guardianship since 2022 over alleged concerns about her being unable to manage her health, finances, etc. Since then, all decisions are rendered from her guardian, Sabrina Morrissey.

“I have it,” exclaimed the living legend before being interrupted by her teammate. “Shut up!” she commanded as the remainder of the LaBelle Girls, Team Tasia, and the entire audience erupted in laughter.

She continued to guess “Baby Mama,” which landed on the board at number four, stealing the category from the American Idol winner who ironically released a record of the same name in 2004.

‘Blood Is Thicker Than Water’ Star Diamond Tankard Accused Of A$$aulting Woman w/ Rock-Filled Sock & Stealing Designer Bag At Walmart Self-Checkout Lane

“Blood Is Thicker Than Water” star Diamond Tankard was arrested on July 18 in Nashville and charged with aggravated a$$ault with a deadly weapon and theft over $1,000, according to court records.
Authorities say Tankard allegedly att*cked a woman at a Walmart self-checkout using a sock filled with rocks and then stole her iPhone 14 and Louis Vuitton handbag.

The victim reportedly suffered a laceration above her left eye and needed stitches. Her grandmother told police she saw Tankard strike her granddaughter with the makeshift weapon.
Per USA Today and WSMV-TV, security footage reportedly showed Tankard grabbing the stolen items and fleeing the store. She was later released on a $25,000 bond and is due in court on August 22.

This isn’t Tankard’s first legal issue. In December 2024, she was charged with attempted felony murder after allegedly hitting a woman with her car. Tankard is best known for her role in the Bravo reality series that followed the lives of the Tankard family.

French President Emmanuel Macron Files Defamation Lawsuit Against Candace Owens For Claiming His Wife Is Transgender
Emmanuel Macron and wife Brigitte Macron are taking legal action after being targeted by Candace Owens.
The couple filed a defamation lawsuit in Delaware Superior Court accusing Owens of spreading false and harmful claims, mainly that Brigitte is “in fact a man.”

The suit says Owens launched the conspiracy in March 2024 via an eight-part podcast titled Becoming Brigitte, accompanied by posts on X, despite “all credible evidence disproving her claim.”
“Rather than engage with President and Mrs. Macron’s attempts to set the record straight, Owens mocked them and used them as additional fodder for her frenzied fan base,” the complaint reads, noting that Brigitte gave birth to three children with her first husband.

The suit also accuses Owens of pushing other baseless conspiracies, including that the Macrons are blood relatives involved in incest and that Emmanuel was selected for office through a CIA mind-control program.

In a joint statement, the Macrons said:
“Ms. Owens’ campaign of defamation was plainly designed to harass and cause pain to us and our families and to garner attention and notoriety. We gave her every opportunity to back away from these claims, but she refused.”

Owens responded in a statement via a spokesperson: “
Candace Owens is not shutting up. This is a foreign government attacking the First Amendment rights of an American independent journalist.”

Stevie Wonder Says His 'Heart Is Broken' Following Death of Malcolm-Jamal Warner

Stevie Wonder has shared that he's heartbroken over the loss of Malcolm-Jamal Warner, comparing the late actor to an African griot.
Speaking to TMZ, the legendary singer-songwriter reflected on the life of Warner, whom he won a Grammy with in 2015 for their charity song "Jesus Children."
"My heart is broken," Wonder said, before explaining the importance of Warner. "I don’t know if you know what a griot is. A griot is like, the African that told the stories in the various villages. So whenever a griot would die, it would be like a whole library of information burning.

"So my heart is broken because not only was he a talented man, growing up and doing — we know him in the Cosby Show, but even more important, his commitment was telling the story. And for me, in a time where we have so many in high places telling low-down lies, we need the truth. So yeah, I miss him. I will miss him."

He added: "I’m quiet, but my heart is hurting."
Malcolm-Jamal Warner and Stevie Wonder won their Grammy for Best Traditional R&B Performance category. Their collaboration was a reworking of Wonder’s classic "Jesus Children of America," led by Robert Glasper, and featured both Warner and singer Lalah Hathaway.
On Monday (July 21), reports surfaced that the former Cosby Show star died from asphyxia after accidentally drowning during a family trip in Costa Rica.
The 54-year-old was swimming with his daughter at a beach near the city of Limon, and his body was identified on Sunday (July 20). According to ABC News, surfers spotted the pair in an area known for dangerous rip currents and dove in to help. One surfer reportedly used his surfboard to bring Warner’s daughter to safety while a lifeguard brought Warner and another individual back to shore.

Warner was then given 45 minutes of CPR, but ultimately could not be resuscitated.
The late entertainer, musician and poet is survived by his wife and 8-year-old daughter. Warner opted to keep both of their identities private prior to his death.

Sports Reporter Taylor Rooks, 33, Announces Her Marriage — 'This Is Love'
Sportscaster Taylor Rooks dropped a bombshell announcement after sharing wedding photos from a star-studded event.
Amazon’s Thursday Night Football sideline reporter, who is known for keeping her personal life private, took to Instagram to show a glimpse of her big day.

The 33-year-old looked dazzling in a simple wedding dress with a sweetheart neckline that beautifully accentuated her décolletage and a voluminous ball gown skirt that flowed gracefully, creating a fairy-tale-like silhouette.
Rooks’ husband, whom she had never introduced publicly, kept it classic in a black suit paired with bow tie.

As mentioned, the ceremony was a star-studded affair, with familiar faces spotted at the event. This includes Houston Rockets superstar Kevin Durant and Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green, as well as NFL stars Saquon Barkley of the Philadelphia Eagles and Cleveland Cavaliers All-Star Donovan Mitchell, along with his fiancée, Coco Jones.
Besides athletes, singer Jack Harlow and actress Lala Anthony also joined the celebration.

“What a night. This is love,” she wrote, along with photos of the newlyweds as well as the TNT NBA reporter with her family and a black and white snap of her in a wedding dress as she is set to walk down the aisle.

Rooks’ post was also flooded with congratulatory messages in the comment section.
Chicago Sky star Angel Reese dropped a two-word comment and noted, “Congrats, beautiful.”
“You deserve it all! Loved celebrating your love,” fellow sportscaster Charissa Thompson wrote.
“So beutiful, Taylor!!!! What a perfect day,” Tyrese Haliburton’s girlfriend Jade Jones added.

New mom and Fox Sports host Alex Curry chimed in and commented, “CONGRATS, beautiful.”
As fans and colleagues celebrated her big moment, one thing is clear: the sportscaster’s love story is just getting started.

Keke Palmer Seemingly Shades Her 'Scream Queens' Co-Stars

Keke Palmer is reminiscing on one of her nostalgic roles.
The 31-year-old actress was recently interviewed by Who What Wear and asked about who would be in her Scream Queens clique today, referencing a Ryan Murphy-produced show that she starred in.

Keke appeared in the series alongside Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd, Abigail Breslin, Lea Michele, and Ariana Grande and it seems like the answer she gave was a little shady to some of her co-stars.
Keke had a quick answer when asked about her Scream Queens squad and said, “I would say my girl SZA, period. Billie Lourd, Ariana Grande, Victoria Monét. That’s it.”

Keke didn’t elaborate on her decision to cut Emma, Lea, and Abigail from her list, but she has previously opened up about having issues with at least one of her co-stars on the Scream Queens set.

Pam Bondi Reportedly Told Trump His Name Appeared in DOJ’s Epstein Records

According to The Wall Street Journal,  Pam Bondi informed Donald Trump during a May meeting that his name was listed multiple times in Department of Justice documents related to Jeffrey Epstein. The revelation reportedly came just weeks before the DOJ announced it would not make the Epstein files public, despite previous assurances that the material would be released.

The Journal reports that Bondi, along with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, briefed Trump on the Epstein case during what officials called a “routine briefing.” Sources told the outlet that Trump was also told the records referenced several other high-profile figures and contained unverified claims and hearsay, including mentions of Trump’s past social ties to Epstein.

Being named in the files does not suggest wrongdoing, according to the Journal. Still, the DOJ’s sudden refusal to release the documents has stirred outrage, particularly among Trump’s supporters, many of whom have long demanded transparency regarding Epstein’s network and his high-powered connections.

Pro wrestling legend Hulk Hogan dies at age 71

Hulk Hogan, the star who took professional wrestling to the national mainstream and became the biggest money-making draw in the history of the industry, died Thursday at the age of 71, Florida police and the WWE said Thursday.
In Clearwater, Florida, authorities responded to a call Thursday morning about a cardiac arrest. Hogan was pronounced dead at a hospital, police said in a statement on Facebook.

"There were no signs of foul play or suspicious activity," Maj. Nate Burnside told reporters.
WWE posted a note on X saying it was saddened to learn the WWE Hall of Famer has died.
"One of pop culture's most recognizable figures, Hogan helped WWE achieve global recognition in the 1980s. WWE extends its condolences to Hogan's family, friends, and fans," it said.

Hogan, whose real name was Terry Bollea, had been struggling with several health issues in recent years, including a problematic, lingering back injury from his wrestling days. Hogan had not wrestled since 2012 but had been in the news recently as a founder of the new Real American Freestyle wrestling promotion and the owner of an upcoming New York City bar opposite Madison Square Garden, the site of many of his big matches.

In 1985, Hogan headlined the first WrestleMania, teaming up with 1980s TV star Mr. T to take on Roddy Piper and Paul Orndorff. WrestleMania I, at MSG, drew an audience of around 1 million on closed-circuit television and is credited with taking professional wrestling, specifically the then-WWF (now WWE), into the national zeitgeist.

Hogan's grudge match with Andre the Giant at WrestleMania III took the wrestling business -- and Hogan's career -- to new heights. Around 80,000 people filled the Pontiac Silverdome in Michigan for the match. The rematch, several months later, on free-to-air NBC, drew 33 million viewers.

Hogan was in the main event of seven of the first eight WrestleMania cards. He was the face and hero of the wrestling world, crossing over into the mainstream with tons of appearances on television talk shows, as well as starring roles in movies -- including the third "Rocky" film, where he took on the title character played by Sylvester Stallone -- and television, including the syndicated "Thunder in Paradise" in the 1990s. Hogan won the WWF World Heavyweight championship six different times, including a reign of 1,474 days. Only Bruno Sammartino and Bob Backlund had the belt for longer days consecutively.

In 1996, with interest in him as a hero waning, Hogan pulled off the biggest heel turn in wrestling history as a second act. Working for WWE competitor World Championship Wrestling (WCW), Hogan became a bad guy, leading a dastardly group of invaders called the New World Order (NWO). The heel turn, 29 years ago this summer, captured the zeitgeist in a way wrestling had not since WrestleMania I. The NWO, with "Hollywood" Hogan as the vicious frontman wearing black and white rather than his trademark red and yellow, breathed new life into the wrestling industry during the counterculture 1990s when the audience demanded a darker, more adult product. Hogan was up to the challenge, helping WCW beat the WWF in television ratings for 83 straight weeks beginning in 1996.

Hogan returned to WWE in 2002 to face The Rock at WrestleMania 18 in Toronto. His character was the NWO bad-guy version, but the more than 68,000 in attendance were not interested in booing Hogan. They cheered him over The Rock, then WWE's biggest good guy, forcing Hogan to return home to Florida that weekend to pick up his old red-and-yellow shirts and wrestling trunks.

He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2005.
President Donald Trump was among other notable figures to post reaction. Hogan gave a speech at the Republican National Convention last July to support Trump's presidential campaign.

"We lost a great friend today, the "Hulkster." Hulk Hogan was MAGA all the way -- Strong, tough, smart, but with the biggest heart. He gave an absolutely electric speech at the Republican National Convention, that was one of the highlights of the entire week," Trump posted on Truth Social. "He entertained fans from all over the World, and the cultural impact he had was massive. To his wife, Sky, and family, we give our warmest best wishes and love. Hulk Hogan will be greatly missed!"

After his wrestling career concluded, Hogan had been embroiled in some controversy. In 2015, video recordings of him using the N-word and referring to himself as "racist to a point" leaked. WWE terminated his legends contract at the time, though brought him back three years later as an ambassador with infrequent television appearances. Hogan appeared on WWE's Netflix debut show in January to promote his new Real American Beer but was booed by the fans in Los Angeles.

A sex tape featuring Hogan was leaked by the website Gawker in 2015 and Hogan subsequently sued for defamation, loss of privacy and emotional pain. Hogan won the case and was awarded $115 million.
