#RHOA: Angela Oakley Accused of Framing Phaedra Parks in Season Finale; Angela Denies Claims
Season 16 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta concluded with a shocking accusation from Angela Oakley. After scouring the streets for information, she claimed that Phaedra Parks invited a random guy named Marcus to a cast event to make accusations about Charles Oakley.
With the help of Drew Sidora, Angela wrangled Marcus and brought him back in front of the group. He called Phaedra the “Godfather of Atlanta” and claimed that a man named Junebug served as the middleman for Phaedra’s scheme.
It all sounded far-fetched, but also, we’ve seen worse on this show. Now, new accusations have come to the surface suggesting that Angela orchestrated the whole thing. What’s the truth?
Of course, Phaedra has a questionable relationship with the truth, after having been run off of two Bravo shows. However, there’s a conspiracy theory being spun on social media by Marcus and his co-worker, Alex. Both of them were a part of spreading the rumors about Charles.
In a series of TikToks, which we’ve watched in full so you don’t have to, Alex claimed that he saw Charles in the restaurant where he and Marcus work. Allegedly, Charles sat down with a younger woman, giving “date night vibes.”
Fast forward to Marcus inserting himself into the on-screen drama on RHOA, telling Angela what he heard from Alex. After that happened, Marcus, who is the manager of the restaurant, invited his employee to sit down with Drew and Angela. We saw a brief flashback to that during the RHOA Season 16 finale. Supposedly, the intention behind the meeting was for Alex to share his firsthand account of Charles on the date.
According to Alex, Angela flipped out and tried to come up with a plan to obscure any guilt on Charles’ part. After all, he had already been dodging rumors of infidelity all season long.
Alex went on to claim that Angela’s big plan was to frame Phaedra as the mastermind behind the cheating rumors. Is there any truth to that? We’re not sure, but after watching the entire season and this dude’s TikTok, we think there are a few holes in everyone’s story.
Meanwhile, Angela has been posting up a storm on X, formerly Twitter, refuting the narrative that she tried to frame Phaedra. It’s a mess, and we think Porsha Williams might have had the best theory about all of it. This was a scheme that Todd set up.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 16 reunion kicks off on Sunday, July 13, on Bravo.

#MusicNews: Usher Abruptly Cancels Australia-Leg Of Past, Present & Future Tour

Usher has canceled his planned Past Present Future Tour dates in Australia, leaving fans in Melbourne and Sydney disappointed.
Live Nation confirmed this week that all scheduled shows for November and December will no longer take place. The decision ends what would have been Usher’s first tour of Australia in several years and was set to include multiple arena performances.
In a statement through Ticketek, Live Nation expressed regret. “The promoter of Usher’s Australian tour regrets to advise that the scheduled shows to take place in November/December will no longer be proceeding,” the message read.
The announcement came as a shock to fans who had secured tickets hoping to see the eight-time Grammy winner perform hits spanning his career, from Confessions staples to recent tracks.
Ticketek confirmed that refunds are already being processed. All purchases, including those with optional refund insurance, will be automatically refunded to the original payment method. Customers do not need to take action, although refunds could take up to 30 business days depending on the payment provider.
Neither Usher nor Live Nation has provided a reason for the cancellation. The lack of explanation has fueled speculation among fans, who had been eager for the singer’s return.
The Australian leg was part of Usher’s broader international tour following his acclaimed Las Vegas residency and his Super Bowl halftime show. The Past Present Future Tour was designed to celebrate his legacy while showcasing new material.
As of now, there are no details about rescheduled dates or alternative plans for Australia. Fans remain hopeful Usher will eventually return.

Mel B Marries Hairstylist Rory McPhee After 6 Years of Dating

Melanie “Mel B” Brown and Rory McPhee tied the knot at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London, England, on July 5, six years after they first began dating. Read on to see their romantic nuptials.
Melanie “Mel B” Brown and Rory McPhee are spicing up their life together.
The Spice Girls star, famously known as Scary Spice, officially tied the knot with her boyfriend of six years during a romantic ceremony in The Crypt of St. Paul’s Cathedral in London, England, on July 5.
Alongside a picture of the two outside the iconic church shared to Instagram that same day, Mel simply added the caption, “05.07.25.”
During the nuptials, the 50-year-old donned an ivory custom gown from Josephine Scott before later changing into a dress from designer Justin Alexander.
And back in January, she revealed that her former bandmate Victoria Beckham was responsible for designing another one of her stunning dresses.
"Victoria actually designed my dress and my mom's dress," the America's Got Talent: Fantasy League judge said on Today with Hoda & Jenna earlier this year. "It's such a beautiful honor to get."
In addition to Mel’s stunning sense of style, stars like Emma Bunton, Cara Delevingne, Daisy Lowe and Katherine Ryan joined in on the couple’s lavish celebrations.
And the singer—who shares daughter Pheonix Chi, 26, with ex-husband Jimmy Gulzar as well as Angel Iris, 18, with ex-boyfriend Eddie Murphy and Madison, 13, with ex-husband Stephen Belafonte—had all three of her girls to serve as the sweetest bridesmaids.
As for how the couple managed to get married at St. Paul’s Cathedral? Well, Mel previously became a member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) after Prince William applauded her work bringing awareness to domestic violence issues—and it came with some perks.
“It’s a big deal because when you get married there—not many people are allowed to get married there,” Mel said during a recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. “You have to be kind of special.”
After all, the couple has been awaiting their big day for three years since Rory popped the question while on a getaway to Berkshire.
"He said, 'I love you, you're my best friend and I want to spend the rest of my life with you,'" Mel recalled of the proposal after friend and comedian Ruby Wax asked her about the big moment on Celebrity Gogglebox in 2022. “There were rose petals everywhere, a log fire, a hotel—which was Cliveden. It was very romantic. I love flowers."

Kelly Clarkson Cancels Opening Night of Las Vegas Residency Hours Before Show
Just hours before she planned to kick off her Studio Sessions residency at Las Vegas’ Colosseum Theater at Caesars Palace July 4, the “Since U Been Gone” singer postponed her first two shows.
“We have been working 24/7 to make Studio Sessions the most intimate and extraordinary experience with and for my incredible fans,” Kelly wrote in a statement shared to Instagram July 4. “I am beyond grateful that you always show up for me and I am devastated to have to postpone tonight and tomorrow’s opening at Caesars.”
As for why the American Idol alum—who shares kids River, 11, and Remington “Remy” Alexander, 9, with ex-husband Brandon Blackstock—had to cancel the shows so last minute? Well, it seemed she was experiencing some vocal strain.
“The prep and rehearsals have taken a toll on my voice,” the statement continued. “I want the shows to be perfect for y’all and I need to protect myself from doing serious damage so I am taking this weekend and next week to rest up so that we can deliver what you all deserve. The show is truly incredible.”
But after a small bump in the road, the 43-year-old plans to be back and better than ever.
“The musicians and singers are outstanding, and I want us all to start out strong,” she concluded. “I can’t wait to be back next weekend and show y’all what we’ve been working on.”
After all, Kelly has kept her voice warm while nailing countless covers during the “Kellyoke” segment of her Emmy-winning talk show, The Kelly Clarkson Show. And recently, it’s become a family affair.

"My daughter is here today," Kelly said during an April 2 episode of her eponymous show, noting her eldest was shadowing showrunner Alex Duda for the day. "Oh my God! You have a mic and everything! You're so fancy! Oh my God. I love it. You're like a little mini producer."
But while River had no problems immersing herself in the world of show business, Kelly admitted that it’s been quite difficult to keep up with her kids’ school events because of her weekday work schedule.
“Why do schools have things in the middle of the f--king day?” she lamented to Kylie Kelce during a March episode of Not Gonna Lie podcast. “They’re like, ‘Oh your daughter has a performance,’ and I’m like ‘Cool, I get to be the a--hole because you decided that it would be a real opportune moment at 10 a.m. on a Thursday—when we’re out here hustling.’”
“‘Do you think I just leave and sit in the park all day?’” she quipped, mimicking what she asks her kids. “Mommy does work, that’s okay. Women and men work, it’s okay.”

Simone Biles’ New Vacation Pics Spark Plastic Surgery Rumors
Simone Biles has sparked speculation that she may have undergone breast augmentation surgery after sharing a series of photos from her tropical vacation.
The Olympic gold medalist showcased a noticeably bustier appearance while posing in a lime-green bikini.
She is currently in San Pedro, Belize, with her husband, NFL player Jonathan Owens.
Dana Omari, who runs a popular plastic surgery-themed account, reposted one of the photos on social media, writing, “Simone Biles with the breast aug!! She looks incredible.”
The gymnast has not addressed the speculation about the surgery.
Last year, she revealed that she did “baby Botox,” which, unlike traditional Botox, uses smaller amounts of the toxin and focuses on specific areas of the face.

During a “get ready with me” video before competing at the Paris Olympics, she shared her negative experience with the cosmetic procedure.
“For my 27th birthday, I got Botox, like baby botox, in my T-zone, and I did not like it,” Simone began.
“I haven’t got it again because I would be standing there in practice and my eyebrow would randomly go like this [pulls it up].”
The Olympic gold medalist is believed to have undergone breast augmentation surgery
The Ohio native said her teammates would tell her that her brow had moved, but she couldn’t do anything about it.
She explained that she has regained full mobility in her face since getting the injections, and she wasn’t going to get more Botox in the future.

‘The Residence’ Canceled at Netflix After 1 Season But the Story Was Just Getting Started
The lights are out and doors have closed on The Residence, as Netflix has canceled the White House-set murder mystery after just one season. Starring Uzo Aduba as Cordelia Cupp, the “greatest detective in the world,” Shonda Rhimes‘ whodunnit joins freshman medical drama Pulse on the chopping block of canceled shows.
Also starring Randall Park, Giancarlo Esposito, Bronson Pinchot, Susan Kelechi Watson, Jason Lee, Edwina Findley, Mary Wiseman, and Jane Curtin, news of the cancellation broke on July 2. Deadline first reported the news.
The Shondaland-produced mystery followed detective Cordelia Cupp (Aduba) as she investigated a murder during a state dinner. Across eight episodes, she questioned staff and guests to uncover hidden motives while exposing personal dramas inside the presidential residence.
But what could have been had the show continued? If the series had gone forward, the show would have become an anthology with Cupp at the center, taking on a new case each season. Based on Kate Andersen Brower’s 2016 book, The Residence: Inside the Private World of the White House, the tome covered true accounts shared by White House staff members, but featured no quirky detectives, leaving the door open for Cupp to possibly explore other iconic residences, tourist attractions, and so forth.
However, that isn’t the only development the show could have expanded upon. Aduba revealed that the show likely would have further explored Cordelia and Edwin’s relatio
“I love thinking about the relationship that Cordelia and Edwin are forming,” Aduba told TV Insider. “They’re in the budding phase of their friendship and have developed a shorthand between each other… They have one great case under their belt, and I’m happy to imagine what else they might do [or] get into,” she adds.
Unfortunately, the potential partnership and their future adventures are now a thing of the past, as the first season of The Residence will also be its last.

Cassie Sued By Male Escort, He Claims She Aborted Their Baby

Following last week’s Diddy verdict, the legal drama continues with a fresh lawsuit against both the music mogul and Cassie Ventura.
The singer is being sued by a male escort, Clayton Howard for allegedly giving him an STD and aborting their pregnancy without his knowledge.
Howard, who allegedly went by the name “Dave” when he was hired for the freak off parties, alleges that he was “drugged, manipulated, and traumatized” by both Diddy and Cassie. He’s now seeking compensation for “psychological injury” and several other forms of trauma.
In the documents, obtained by TMZ, he claims he was hired for freak-offs with Diddy and Cassie starting in 2009. The couple allegedly trafficked him for the purposes of commercial sex, using him as “entertainment to satisfy their sexual fetishes and personal ambitions.”
Howard also alleges that Cassie manipulated him into taking ecstasy and having unprotected sex. He says he would order him to masturbate for hours on end, resulting in tears, skin peeling and scabbing to his penis.
As caught by The Neighborhood Talk on Instagram, Howard took to social media to share more allegations against the singer.
The escort alleged that Ventura lied about an overdose story at a “freak-off” party, and allegedly was the one to pursue sexual activity in that instance. “I’m not looking to destroy Cassie,” he remarked. Howard said he gave her over a year to settle the allegations against her before proceeding in court.
“The problem is she’s being supported by women… Who choose to attack male victims instead of accept the truth,” he alleged. “A woman could’ve lied to get revenge on the ex boyfriend that broke her heart and hurt her. […] Cassie did this to herself. […] Cassie got on the stand trying to destroy Diddy. She should’ve took her $20, $30 million dollars and walked into the sunset.”
“I don’t blame Cassie for ultimately deciding to abort our child,” Howard alleged in his new book. “I know it must have been a difficult decision for her. I blame the situation for what happened. The situation led us to create a life due to our carelessness, and that carelessness resulted in the death of an innocent child.”
Diddy walked away with a minimal sentence in his federal sex crimes trial, with an acquittal of racketeering and sex trafficking but convicted on two counts of transportation for prostitution.

Regina Hall Says ‘Girls Trip 2’ Is “Closest To Being In The Works” Than It’s Ever Been
Regina Hall just gave fans the update they’ve been thirsting for: Girls Trip 2 is officially inching closer to theaters. The beloved actress gave the update while sipping and chatting at a cozy summer cookout hosted by Bounty Paper Towels at The Arlo Hotel in SoHo on June 25. Hall confirmed to VIBE that the sequel is finally heating up behind the scenes.
“I know they’re writing it… the studio is very excited to get it going. I would imagine it’s probably the closest to being in the works that it has been,” she shared.
Directed by Malcolm D. Lee, the sequel to the 2017 box office smash has been on fans’ radar since the first installment. So, according to Hall, fans can continue to anticipate the chaos, adventures, and comedic relief that she, Queen Latifah, Jada Pinkett Smith, and Tiffany Haddish created in the original flick. Watch below.
But the cookout convo didn’t stop at movie teasers. The Scary Movie star also got real about cleaning up life’s messes — literal and emotional — as part of her partnering with Bounty, known for their “quicker-picker-upper” paper towels. The seasoned actress shared that teaming up with the brand felt personal and even nostalgic. “It feels like an ode to my childhood,” she said. “If my mom were here, she’d be really proud… she was always about her Bounty.”
In true Hall fashion, she didn’t just “talk the talk” — she demoed how to reuse a single Bounty sheet like a domestic champ. “You can reuse them because they’re super absorbent,” she explained, noting that water alone isn’t enough reason to toss it. “That right there is going to dry completely, and then you can use it again,” she added, showing just how sustainable and practical the towels are.
When the conversation turned to the metaphorical messes — like heartbreak — the 54-year-old didn’t flinch. “I wish somebody could pick up a heartbreak,” she said candidly. “But you gotta go through all the stages.” She also shared her secret to bouncing back from life’s challenges, saying, “You just gotta say yes to the no.”

Naomi Osaka’s downcast interview after loss at Wimbledon concerns tennis fans

Former No. 1 tennis player Naomi Osaka sparked concern among tennis fans when she said, “I have nothing positive to say about myself” following her crushing loss at Wimbledon.
The four-time Grand Slam winner lost a three-set tennis match in the third round to Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, 6-3, 4-6, 4-6, on July 4 in the biggest of the major tournaments.
Despite her extraordinary success on other tennis surfaces and major tournaments, Osaka has never ventured beyond the third round on grass at Wimbledon. She lost to Venus Williams in the same round in 2017, Angelique Kerber in 2018, and now Pavlyuchenkova in 2025, according to The Tennis Gazette.
While Osaka hated her performance on the tennis court, she also conveyed her disgust with the media. She said she has become wary and weary of the press being fixated on the sadness she conveys at the press conferences following her losses.
“Why is it every time I do a press conference after a loss the ESPN’s ad blogs clip it and put it up?,” Osaka penned on the social media platform Threads.
“Why don’t they clip my press conferences after I win? Why push the narrative that I am always sad?”
A forlorn Osaka expressed her devastation after another early defeat.
“In Paris (the site of the French Open), I was very emotional,” Osaka admits about the second Grand Slam tournament of the year that ended at the top of June. “Now I don’t feel anything, so I guess I’d prefer to feel nothing than everything.”
Osaka is yearning to regain her world-class form after giving birth to her child, Shai, in September 2023. She has since broken up with her boyfriend and the father of the child, rapper Cordae, according to Tennis.com.
The journey back to elite status has been arduous and painstaking and pockmarked with occasional setbacks. Fans believe it doesn’t help that Osaka has been self-deprecating following her losses, which includes a negative distinction of having lost six consecutive three-set matches.
“It’s not like I can really even be mad at myself. I was thinking about the break points that I had. She hit some really good serves. Then she hit a backhand. I can’t really do that much about it,” Osaka told the press.
“Obviously I’m still going to beat myself up a little bit. I’m just going to be a negative human being today. I’m so sorry. I have nothing positive to say about myself, which is something I’m working on.”

Why Nicki Minaj thinks someone is sabotaging her Instagram after the Live session has very little viewers

Nicki Minaj recently made startling observations during an Instagram Live session that has sparked widespread discussion among fans and industry observers. The chart-topping rapper expressed genuine surprise and confusion over the dramatically low number of viewers participating in her livestream, particularly given her massive following and typical engagement levels. Her candid remarks suggested that the reduced viewership felt suspicious rather than organic, leading her to question whether external forces might be deliberately limiting her reach.
During the livestream, Minaj voiced her bewilderment about the remarkably low audience numbers and wondered aloud who might be responsible for such unusual engagement patterns. She specifically questioned whether someone might be intimidated by her influence or content, implying that the reduced visibility could represent intentional interference rather than natural fluctuation in audience interest.
The rapper’s observations highlight growing concerns among high-profile content creators about the unpredictable nature of social media visibility and the potential for manipulation behind seemingly technical issues. Her direct questioning of the circumstances suggests awareness that platform engagement can be influenced by factors beyond simple audience preference or timing considerations.
Instagram’s constantly evolving algorithm system presents ongoing challenges for content creators attempting to maintain consistent audience engagement across their platforms. The sophisticated algorithm prioritizes content based on multiple factors including user interaction history, post relevance, timing, and engagement velocity, which can significantly impact how many followers actually see any given piece of content. Even established artists with millions of followers may experience dramatic reach limitations if their content fails to generate immediate engagement signals.
These algorithmic changes often occur without advance notice to users, creating situations where creators suddenly find their typical audience engagement dropping substantially without clear explanations. The algorithm’s emphasis on recent interaction patterns means that even loyal followers might not receive notifications about livestreams or posts if they have not recently engaged with that creator’s content.
Content creators frequently report feeling frustrated by the lack of transparency surrounding these algorithmic decisions, particularly when their livelihoods depend on maintaining consistent audience connections. The unpredictable nature of reach and engagement makes it difficult for artists to plan content strategies or understand why their visibility might suddenly decline during important promotional periods.

The unpredictable nature of reach and engagement makes it difficult for artists to plan content strategies or understand why their visibility might suddenly decline during important promotional periods.
Minaj’s observations have generated intense discussion among her fanbase and broader social media community, with supporters offering various explanations for the unusual viewership patterns she experienced. Many fans have expressed solidarity by sharing their own experiences of reduced notification delivery and decreased visibility of her content in their feeds, suggesting systematic rather than isolated issues.
Some followers have speculated about potential external interference, ranging from platform manipulation to coordinated efforts to limit her influence during significant career moments. Others have attributed the low viewership to increased competition for attention across social media platforms, noting how content saturation makes it challenging for any single livestream to capture substantial audiences.
The fan response has also included calls for greater transparency from social media platforms regarding their algorithmic decisions and content distribution practices. Many supporters have encouraged others to actively seek out Minaj’s content rather than relying on platform notifications, while also questioning whether similar patterns affect other high-profile creators who express controversial opinions or maintain independent stances.
Minaj’s experience reflects broader tensions between content creators and social media platforms over control of audience access and engagement opportunities. The incident highlights how dependent modern artists have become on platform algorithms for maintaining connections with their fanbase, creating vulnerability when those systems function unpredictably or potentially unfairly.
The situation raises important questions about the power dynamics between individual creators and the platforms that host their content, particularly regarding transparency in content distribution and the potential for bias in algorithmic decision-making. Artists increasingly find themselves needing to understand complex technical systems to maintain their careers, while platforms maintain proprietary control over reach and visibility.
This ongoing tension between creators and platforms suggests the need for more open dialogue about fair content distribution practices and creator rights within digital ecosystems. As social media continues evolving as the primary method for artist-fan communication, establishing clear standards for platform behavior becomes increasingly important for maintaining trust and ensuring equitable access to audiences across all content creators regardless of their perspectives or popularity levels.

Wendy Williams steps out looking better than ever amid ongoing guardianship battle

Wendy Williams was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia and aphasia in 2023 and has been living in a memory care facility in New York.
The 60-year-old former talk show host was spotted this week at Columbia University looking back in action and better than ever alongside her friend and designer, Mel Maxi.
In a video captured by TMZ, Williams praises Maxi for having designed her stylish monochromatic look that featured black shorts with a white patterned jacket.
“This is amazing, okay. This is totally designed by [Mel Maxi] with the exception of my sneakers,” she told the outlet. “He did this specifically for me… I don’t know if you can see this, but this is really hand-done. That’s what he does for a living. I’ve known him for a very long time. He’s been doing clothing for me for a very long time.”
She went on to explain that Maxi was there to lead a lecture, and she was there in support, dressed in his duds.
‘It’s done’: Judge dismisses Wendy Williams’ hopes for a career comeback
The rare sighting arrives after months and months of drama for the TV personality who has been living under a legal guardianship following the diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia and aphasia in 2023. Since at least January, Williams has been attempting to end her guardianship, which her health advocate claims she asked for without realizing how strict it would be.
Her cognitive ability was questioned after Wells Fargo froze her accounts following suspicious activity.
“She wanted to make sure nobody’s in her money, and she would be fine,” Ginalisa Monterroso said. “She kind of felt like, ‘Hey, I have the court. They’re going to assign me a money person. I’m going to be good.’ In no way did she think that her whole life was going to be taken away from her.”
In January, Williams called into “The Breakfast Club” morning show to appeal to the public for help in getting more attention to her situation.
“I am not cognitively impaired. But I feel like I am in prison,” she stressed at the time as she described the memory care facility she claims she was forced to move to.
Since then, and after repeated claims from Williams that she wasn’t cognitively impaired, she was hospitalized and reportedly received a new evaluation. If she wins her freedom, Wendy hopes to stay in New York, return to her talk show, and even get back on the dating scene.

'Sinners' Producer Says Movie Used 'Warehouse Full' of Unused Marvel Costumes

Sinners producer Sev Ohanian is sharing a surprising detail about the movie.
Sev spoke to ScreenCrush about the creation of the movie recently. During the interview, he revealed Sinners‘ surprising connection to a delayed Marvel movie.
“Ruth Carter was working on the Blade movie that ended up not shooting — which I think they’re still going to make. At one point, that film was going to deal with the past around the same era as Sinners,” Sev revealed, referring to the delayed Marvel vampire slayer movie.
Mahershala Ali was cast to play the titular character, first played on the big screen by Wesley Snipes, in 2019. The movie has been delayed numerous times with several changes in the production team.
Sev revealed in the interview that Ruth was able to use her connections to the delayed Blade film to get access to the unused costumes.
“She happened to have a warehouse full of period-appropriate clothes, and it was like, ‘Yo, we got to shoot this movie, like, tomorrow,’” Sev recalled during the interview. “And Marvel was generous enough and kind enough to let us basically purchase it at price.”
Sev went on to explain that the extra costumes purchased from Marvel’s stash of Blade outfits were primarily used for background characters, not for the main stars of the film.
He shared during the interview, “A lot of the background actors in our movie are wearing those clothes.”

Elon Musk Starts “America Party” After Beefing with Trump Over Government Spending
Elon Musk's SpaceX Operations Officially Form New City Named Starbase in Texas After Voter Approval
Elon Musk has officially entered the political arena with the announcement of his new political movement: the “America Party.”
The billionaire tech mogul made the announcement via Twitter, the platform he owns, stating, “By a factor of 2 to 1, you want a new political party and you shall have it!”
The move comes just a day after Musk ran a poll on Twitter asking users if they supported the creation of the America Party. He believes the new party can serve as a strategic force in Congress by targeting a small number of key races.
“Given the razor-thin legislative margins, that would be enough to serve as the deciding vote on contentious laws, ensuring that they serve the true will of the people,” Musk wrote.

Though details about the party’s official registration remain unclear, it hasn’t appeared on the Federal Election Committee’s site. Musk added that the America Party would operate independently, caucusing separately while engaging in legislative talks with both Democrats and Republicans.
Musk was also the biggest donor during the 2024 presidential election cycle, contributing over $280 million, most of it supporting Donald Trump and other Republicans. However, his once-close relationship with Trump has soured.
Their split became public as Musk openly criticized Trump’s domestic spending initiatives, including the recently passed economic bill.
“It is obvious with the insane spending of this bill, which increases the debt ceiling by a record FIVE TRILLION DOLLARS that we live in a one-party country – the PORKY PIG PARTY!!” Musk said. “Time for a new political party that actually cares about the people.”
The announcement signals Musk’s growing frustration with the political status quo and his willingness to reshape it.
