#RHOA: Phaedra Parks Has a Surprising Update on Her Beef with Angela Oakley
Phaedra Parks says she and Angela Oakley are "in a different place" Hosts Evan Real and Danny Murphy pointed out that Angela recently congratulated Phaedra on her Primetime Emmy’s gig, which saw the Housewife on the red carpet conducting celebrity interviews.
“Congratulations Phaedra, you are truly the Godfather!” Angela commented on Phaedra's Instagram.

The message suggested the Atlanta ’Wives had finally squashed their beef; however, Phaedra remained pretty tight-lipped about their suspected reconciliation.
“I talked to her,” Phaedra said. “We’re in a different place.”
The drama between the ladies played out toward the end of RHOA Season 16, when Angela accused Phaedra of recruiting a man named Marcus to spread cheating rumors about her husband, Charles Oakley. Angela continued to push the allegation during the RHOA Season 16 reunion, claiming Phaedra and Marcus had family connections in Athens, Georgia.

“First and foremost, he told me it was Phaedra,” Angela said in reference to Marcus. “Everything you said about me was a lie.”
“I have not said anything about you, darling, because no one knew about you,” Phaedra fired back.
The women failed to resolve their rift at the reunion, even after a few receipts were presented and a call was made to Phaedra’s brother; however, Angela suggested she was open to burying the hatchet someday.

“I feel like there’s still more issues that need to be ironed out,” she said. “But I feel like we can move forward as a group.”
Phaedra Parks shares a bold theory about Angela Oakley drama
Phaedra Parks posts an image of herself with her two boys Ayden Nida, and Dylan Nida at a Temple in Hong Kong, to her Instagram.
During her appearance at the Virtual Reali-Tea Awards, Phaedra shared her theory about why Angela targeted her with unfounded accusations.

“I think people sometimes come on the show and [they] just come for people at the top, you know?” she explained. “I’m just being honest. The cream rises to the top, so you have to aim for the stars, you know.”

#HipHopNews: YoungBoy Never Broke Again to Perform in Chicago for First Time Since King Von’s Death
YoungBoy Never Broke Again's tour is making a stop in Chicago later this week, marking his first performance in the Windy City since the killing of King Von.
On Wednesday (Sept. 24), YB's MASA Tour will be touching down at the United Center in Chicago. The tour marks YB's first time on the road in five years, and his Chi-Town set will be his first time performing in the city since Chicago rapper King Von was shot and killed by an associate of YB's artist Quando Rondo in Atlanta in 2020.

The United Center seems to be trying to get ahead of any issues that could arise due to YB's appearance in the city and has announced a strict bag policy for the show, which they typically do not implement.

"For the NBA YoungBoy show on September 24, bags of ALL SIZES, including clear bags, will not be permitted inside the venue," a notice on the venue's website reads. "We recommend traveling light and only bringing essentials like your keys and wallet or leaving larger items and bags in your car."

YB and Von's beef started when the two started taking shots at each other on social media around 2018 and escalated when Von was seen with YB's child's mother, Jania Meshell. On Nov. 6, 2020, Von was shot and killed outside of an Atlanta lounge after starting a fight with Quando Rondo outside the venue. Lil Durk is currently in jail facing murder-for-hire charges for allegedly trying to retaliate for Von's murder by paying five men to travel to California and kill Quando.

BREAKING: Kimmel’s Back! Disney Lifts Jimmy Kimmel's Suspension

Disney announced Monday that it’s bringing “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” back on the air Tuesday, less than a week after the company said it was suspending ABC’s late night program “indefinitely” following the host’s remarks about Charlie Kirk’s killing.

The decision followed “thoughtful conversations” with the host, whose show was taken down after Kimmel criticized conservatives’ response to Kirk’s shooting death, Disney said, adding that the company believed the timing of the remarks to be “insensitive.”
“Last Wednesday, we made the decision to suspend production on the show to avoid further inflaming a tense situation at an emotional moment for our country,” the company statement read. “It is a decision we made because we felt some of the comments were ill-timed and thus insensitive. We have spent the last days having thoughtful conversations with Jimmy, and after those conversations, we reached the decision to return the show on Tuesday.”

Critics slammed Disney and its CEO Bob Iger for suspending the show after Brendan Carr, President Donald Trump’s chairman of the Federal Communications Commission, threatened to punish the company with regulatory action over Kimmel’s comments.
Earlier Monday, more than 400 celebrities, including Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks, signed a letter calling the suspension a “dark moment for freedom of speech.” A handful of other celebrities have called on people to cancel their subscriptions to Disney’s platforms or vowed not to work with the company again.

The move was even met with criticism from GOP lawmakers, including Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, who compared it to kowtowing to threats from a mob boss and said it sets a dangerous precedent.
“Going down this road, there will come a time when a Democrat wins again. They will silence us,” he added. “They will use this power, and they will use it ruthlessly, and that is dangerous.”
Nexstar and Sinclair, which own multiple ABC affiliates and control what broadcasts on them, did not immediately respond when asked if they would now air Kimmel’s show. The companies both announced they would preempt the program following his remarks about Kirk, with Sinclair demanding that Kimmel “issue a direct apology to the Kirk family.”

Kimmel has hosted his show on the Disney subsidiary since 2003, making it the second longest-running show in late night.

Tom Holland Reportedly Hospitalized As Injury Halts Filming On “Spider-Man: Brand New Day”
Tom Holland’s concussion briefly halted Spider-Man: Brand New Day filming in Glasgow, but the Marvel star is expected back on set in days.
Production was suspended Friday while Holland was treated for what insiders are calling a “mild concussion.” A source close to the set told Deadline the actor will rest “out of precaution” but is expected back on camera within days. No one else was harmed during the incident, though a meeting is already scheduled to adjust filming plans.

According to The Sun, Holland’s injury came during a stunt that didn’t go as planned. Despite the scare, he still made an appearance with fiancée Zendaya at a charity event over the weekend, showing he’s well enough to be out and about.
The film’s crew had only been in Scotland for a few weeks. Before cameras rolled, Holland said he was “over the moon and so excited” to finally shoot on location after Spider-Man: No Way Home was filmed entirely indoors due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Now, we’re really gonna lean into that old-school filmmaking and shoot in real locations, which is why we’re starting in Glasgow and we’re gonna use the streets of Glasgow to build this massive set-piece that we’re putting together,” Holland shared. “So it’s gonna feel like making [2017’s] Spider-Man 1 again. It’s been such a long time since I’ve done it, it’s gonna feel like a breath of fresh air, and I think the fans are going to be over the moon with what we’re putting together.”

Sony slotted Spider-Man: Brand New Day for a July 24, 2026 release, officially revealing the title at CinemaCon this past spring. The blockbuster is directed by Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings filmmaker Destin Daniel Cretton, with Amy Pascal and Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige producing. Zendaya returns as MJ, while Sadie Sink and Liza Colón-Zayas join the lineup in undisclosed roles.

Holland, whose stunt-heavy Spider-Man outings have made him one of Marvel’s most physical leads, has faced injuries before, but his quick bounce back this weekend suggests filming won’t be derailed for long. For now, all eyes are on Glasgow, where the streets are doubling as New York in one of the franchise’s most ambitious set-pieces yet.
The incident may have paused the action, but anticipation for Spidey’s next swing into theaters remains firmly in motion.

Steve Harvey Left Standup Comedy Because Of ‘Cancel Culture’
Steve Harvey says he quit standup comedy because of cancel culture. During an appearance on “The Pivot” podcast, Harvey was asked about doing comedy in the cancel culture era.
“I even see you on Family Feud. Sometimes, I can see the clock working where you got a joke, but you’re not allowed to say that joke,” host Channing Chowder said to Harvey.

“I got it. And see, it’s very hard,” Harvey responded. “But that’s why I left stand-up in 2012, 2015, one of them. I left stand-up then because I had so many shows and had built such a catalog of work. I was making money and I had to let something go.”
“And if I tour on the weekends, I wouldn’t even have a family,” he added. “So I let stand-up go because I saw the change coming.”
Harvey also noted that he wanted to leave standup before complacency set in.

“You got to react or participate. So my participation was to get away from it because the cancel culture started becoming everywhere,” Harvey said. “Comedy is too hard to do right now. And all you got to do is look now the way the cancel culture works.”
“Y’all got a podcast and you’re doing it brilliantly,” Harvey added to the hosts. “Please don’t stop doing the way you do. The problem with people is, they get something that working and then they wanna find something that works better. You ain’t gotta fix it if it ain’t broke.”

Since leaving standup in 2012, Harvey has found success in various forms of media. Currently, he hosts his popular syndicated radio program “The Steve Harvey Show.” Also, he hosts “Family Feud,” “Celebrity Family Feud,” and “The Steve Harvey Morning Show.” From 2012 to 2017, he hosted his own talk show, “Steve Harvey.”

Saucy Santana Allegedly Has Medical Emergency At Waffle House

Saucy Santana was reportedly rushed to a hospital after a suspected medical emergency unfolded at a Waffle House in Atlanta.
A video circulating on social media has prompted concern and raised questions about the rapper’s condition.
Viewers quickly identified the individual as the 29-year-old rapper, whose real name is Rashad Jamiyl Spain. The footage has since gone viral, prompting a wave of reactions.
Concern spread across Facebook and Instagram, where users shared prayers and well-wishes. Roughly four hours after the incident, Santana posted on Facebook, a move many interpreted as a positive sign regarding his health.

No official statement has been issued by his team, and the exact nature of the emergency remains unclear.
Santana, who first gained attention as a makeup artist for the City Girls, broke into the music scene in 2019 with his debut single “Walk Em Like A Dog.”
By 2021, he had gone viral with “Walk” and “Here We Go,” both of which fueled TikTok trends. His track “Material Girl” became a cultural moment, later remixed with Madonna as “Material Gworrllllllll!”
The Connecticut-born artist, who relocated to Florida at the age of 10, has made appearances on “Love & Hip Hop: Miami” and “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta.”

Update: He's been released from the hospital!

#BoxOfficeNews: ‘Demon Slayer’ Tops ‘Him’ for No. 1 and Margot Robbie and Colin Farrell's romantic fantasy 'Big Bold Beautiful Journey' bombs
Anime hit Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – the Movie Infinity Castle is the champion of this weekend’s box office, topping the Jordan Peele-produced Him for no. 1.
Demon Slayer, which set a record $70 million U.S. opening last weekend, is looking to bring in $17.3 million this weekend, a tumble of 77 percent but enough for a victory. Him, from Universal and Peele’s Monkeypaw, is projected to end the weekend with $13.5 million, down from earlier estimates of $15 million.

Demon Slayer hails from the Sony-owned Crunchyroll, and is already a global smash. It now stands as the top-grossing anime movie of all time globally, with more than $555 million.

But the weekend brought bad news from other corners of the Sony empire, with the high-profile Margot Robbie, Colin Farrell romantic fantasy A Big Bold Beautiful Journey bombing with a projected $3.5 million, sixth-place finish. Journey centers on a man and a woman who relive key moments from their lives. The feature is Robbie’s first starring role since Barbie became a phenomenon two years ago and helped revive the box office. The film earned a B- CinemaScore from audiences and tepid reviews. Kogonada directed the Blacklist script by Seth Reiss.

Him likewise earned mediocre reviews. It stars Tyriq Withers as a top NFL quarterback prospect whose career is upended when he is blind sided by an attacker and suffers brain trauma. He finds a potential way back to greatness in the form of Marlon Wayans’ GOAT quarterback, who offers to train him at his private compound. The psychological horror movie hails from director Justin Tipping and received a C- CinemaScore from audiences.

Rounding out the top five are New Line’s The Conjuring: The Last Rites, now in its third weekend and expected to earn $12.1 million; Lionsgate’s The Long Walk, with $6.3 million; and Focus’ Downton Abbey: The Finale, with $6 million.

Celina Powell Drops Phone Call Of“BMF” Star Lil Meech Begging For Forgiveness After Denying Their Rekindled Romance
One thing we should all know by now: #CelinaPowell is going to come with video and audio receipts.
Over the weekend, the controversial social media personality shared several IG Stories and screenshots claiming she’d rekindled her romantic connection with #BMF star Demetrius “Lil Meech” Flenory. You may recall the two made headlines in the summer of 2023 when Celina released explicit photos and an alleged s3x tape with Lil Meech shortly after he confirmed his then-relationship with #SummerWalker.

This time around, after Celina shared her initial posts, Lil Meech denied that he circled back to Celina with a comment that said “Cap” and several laughing emojis. Celina then exposed him, alleging that he’s struggling financially, living in an apartment owned by Floyd Mayweather, and battling a serious addiction problem. She also posted a phone call, seemingly of Lil Meech begging her to remove the posts and apologizing for denying their relationship.

Lil Meech hasn’t said much more about the situation, but he did post a video of a grow house to his IG Story with the text: “I can’t even be mad, this what we on.”
If history has taught us anything, this won’t be the last time these two light up the timeline.

Adele has been “approached” but NOTHING has been confirmed about a Super Bowl halftime
Hints supposedly have been dropped by Taylor Swift that she’ll be the halftime performer at Super Bowl LX. Commissioner Roger Goodell added to the speculation earlier this month, calling it a “maybe.”
“Maybe” may be the key word.
According to PageSix.com, via Sports Business Journal, Adele has been approached about the gig.

She supposedly turned down a chance to do the halftime show for Super Bowl LI. “First of all, I’m not doing the Super Bowl,” she said in 2016, via PageSix.com. “I mean, that show is not about music. I can’t dance or anything like that. They were very kind, they did ask me, but I did say no.”

Per the report, Miley Cyrus also has been linked to the halftime show.
The coveted assignment comes with a complicated business reality. While little if anything is currently said or reported about it, a trend has emerged within the past 10-15 years in which the performer doesn’t get paid. Instead, the performer apparently shares a piece of the enhanced revenue pie (from music purchases and/or ticket sales) with the league.

Taylor Swift has the cachet and popularity to expect to be paid. Which could cause the NFL to ultimately go elsewhere.
Last year, Kendrick Lamar was announced as the halftime performer on September 8, the first Sunday of the 2024 regular season. Already, the NFL is two weeks behind the most recent timetable.

Ye Demonizes Black Lives Matter Movement As “Worse Than The Devil”

Ye has reignited controversy following the resurfacing of a clip in which he says that the Black Lives Matter movement is worse than the devil.
The footage is from the documentary In Whose Name?, which sheds new light on the tension behind the scenes during the making of his 2021 album Donda.

In the scene, Ye—formerly known as Kanye West—is seen in conversation with Playboi Carti, where he explains his decision to cut longtime collaborator Pusha T’s verse from the track “Off The Grid.”
Despite Carti complimenting Pusha’s performance, Ye is unwavering in his decision to discard it. His reasoning? An uncompromising stance against any mention of the Black Lives Matter movement in his music—even from featured artists.

“I’d rather y’all be like, ‘I’m killing 20 ni**as’ or ‘I’m f**king too many bi**hes’ and all that sh*t than y’all saying some Black Lives Matter sh*t on my sh*t,” Ye says in the clip. “Black Lives Matter is, like, worse than the devil to me. It’s mind control.”
The statement, which many are calling inflammatory and deeply troubling, has sparked intense backlash online, with critics accusing Ye of further distancing himself from the Black community. It also reopens wounds tied to his increasingly erratic public behavior and controversial political and social commentary in recent years.
The rift with Pusha T—once Ye’s most loyal G.O.O.D. Music lieutenant—has been increasingly public. Earlier this year, Pusha addressed the fractured relationship during an appearance on The Joe Budden Podcast, where he detailed the emotional and ideological disconnect between them.

“It’s like, bro, you’ve been mentioning me, screaming about me… you got every soul believing that I’ve done such a great injustice to you. And that’s a lie,” Pusha said. “He goes on his rants… with his KKK mask and he’s screaming behind it like a pro wrestler—he got to scream behind a mask. He don’t talk to me like he talks to others.”
Though Pusha acknowledged Ye’s brilliance, saying, “He’s a genius. And his intuition is even more genius level,” he admitted their relationship deteriorated because “he knows I don’t think he’s a man… That’s why we can’t build with each other no more.”

The resurfaced footage not only underscores Ye’s growing isolation from former collaborators but also highlights the deep ideological divide that has come to define his post-Donda career.

‘The Bear’ writer Alex O’Keefe claims he was arrested on train because an ‘old white lady’ complained about his sitting position
A writer on the hit FX show The Bear has claimed that he was arrested on a train after an “old white lady” complained about how he was sitting.
Alex O’Keefe, also a speechwriter for prominent Democrats, including Senator Elizabeth Warren, has claimed that police were targeting the “one Black” man on board.

According to O’Keefe, he was on a Metropolitan Transportation Authority train bound for Connecticut when the unnamed woman told him to “correct” his sitting position.
O’Keefe says that she reported him to the train’s conductor after he refused. After that, the conductor called the MTA Police Department.
In a video posted to O’Keefe’s Instagram account, the screenwriter can be heard saying that he has not done “anything illegal” as police remove him from his seat.

In his post’s caption, O’Keefe alleged that a friend of the woman told him that he was “not the minority anymore” while they waited for police officers to arrive.
The caption continued: “They pulled me off the train and arrested me without even talking to the Karen who reported the one black person on the train. On the platform, the police detained me and interrogated me.

“Only black folks stayed nearby and recorded the arrest. When I demanded a lawyer and reminded them they didn’t even take a statement from the woman who complained, they eventually released me.
“This country is growing more psycho by the day. What will you do about it?”
The video of the arrest has since gone viral, dividing opinions on social media. One clip posted to TikTok has been reposted over 160,000 times.

One Instagram user commented, “People need to stand up for others. I would have!!”
Another wrote, “Don’t the police QUESTION the lady about her complaint?!?!”

O’Keefe became widely known for contributing to FX’s The Bear series, which has won awards, including an Emmy Award for Outstanding Comedy Series. The show follows a Chicago chef, played by Jeremy Allen White, who returns to his home city to run his late brother’s restaurant.
He is also known for writing speeches for prominent members of the Democratic Party, including Senator Elizabeth Warren and Senator Ed Markey.

Both senators are known for being on the progressive wing of their party, with Senator Markey being the Senate author for the Green New Deal. O’Keefe is also associated with the Green New Deal, having served as its Campaign Director.
Both O’Keefe and the MTA have been approached for comment

Cardi B says Offset divorce stalled over property and tax demands

Cardi B has revealed that her divorce from Offset remains unresolved due to what she describes as unreasonable demands involving property and taxes.
The Bronx rapper, who recently announced that she is expecting a child with NFL player Stefon Diggs, told fans that her estranged husband is holding up the legal process.

According to Cardi, Offset has refused to finalize the divorce unless she hands over one of her homes and agrees to pay his outstanding tax bills. Speaking directly to her fanbase, she expressed frustration over the situation, making it clear that she does not plan to give in to his conditions.

“I gave seven good years of my life to that marriage,” Cardi said, adding that while the relationship did not work out, she has moved forward with her personal life. She emphasized that the delay in finalizing her divorce is not due to hesitation on her part but rather Offset’s demands.
Offset, meanwhile, has spoken publicly on podcasts about his disillusionment with marriage, telling others not to tie the knot. Despite his comments, he has yet to sign the divorce papers.

Cardi has also used her music to address aspects of her relationship with Offset. Her upcoming album Am I The Drama? includes the track Man Of Your Word, which she says reflects her experiences during their marriage. The album has already broken records for its rapid sales and is expected to continue its strong performance.
While her personal life remains under public scrutiny, Cardi continues to engage with fans, including at a meet and greet event in Queens, New York, over the weekend.

Jason Derulo Faces Refiled Sexual Harassment Lawsuit in New York After Los Angeles Dismissal
The woman who previously sued Jason Derulo for sexual harassment is still fighting to hold him accountable.
Singer Emaza Dilan has taken her claims against the chart-topping artist from Los Angeles to New York, refiling her lawsuit in Manhattan after it was dismissed in California due to jurisdiction rules.

Dilan says her career took a dark turn after Derulo offered her a record deal, only to allegedly pressure her into inappropriate situations. She claims that once she rejected his behavior, the tone of their relationship changed drastically. According to the new filing, she was pushed aside professionally and eventually dropped altogether.

She accuses Derulo of more than harassment. Her lawsuit outlines retaliation, discrimination, and career sabotage, saying he used his industry power to intimidate and punish her.
“This wasn’t just a deal gone bad,” Dilan said in a previous interview. “This was someone using their influence to try and control me.”

Derulo has denied all wrongdoing and called the claims defamatory. His legal team says they’re confident the case will once again be thrown out.
But Dilan is holding firm. She shared a screenshot of Rolling Stone’s coverage of the refiling with the caption, “far from over.”

You Can Now Say ‘GAY’ On Your Ohio License Plate

A federal judge has ruled in favor of an Ohio man seeking to have the word “GAY” in his license plate.
William Saki applied for a license plate reading “GAY” through the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) in advance of National Coming Out Day — Oct. 11 — to “express a central part of his identity.”
The plate was immediately rejected as “Inappropriate/Invalid.”
He then attempted to register a series of other plates, including ones reading “QUEER” and  “HOMO”.

Those plates were rejected. In the court filing, Saki argued that his proposed plates did not violate any of the BMV’s special plate screening guidelines.
Further, when he attempted to register plates reading, “NO GAYS,” “NO HOMOS” and “NO FAGS”, all of them were listed as available.
“Mr. Saki — like everyone else in this country — has a First Amendment right to free speech. He’s out, he’s proud and [Ohio] Gov. DeWine can’t shove him back in the closet just because he’s made a political career out of harassing gay people,” said Brian D. Bardwell, a First Amendment lawyer representing Mr. Saki, before the case was heard.

Saki filed suit with another Ohioan, Cyrus Mahdavi, against the BMV and the Ohio Department of Public Safety.
Mahdavi also attempted to register a plate to express a central part of his identity: “MUSLIM”.
That plate, too, was immediately rejected as “Inappropriate/Invalid.”
Searches through the BMV site reveal that license plates may be issued for “ATHEIST,” “BAPTIST,” “SIKH” and “HINDU,” but “JEW” is automatically rejected.

The case was heard on Thursday in the United States District Court’s Northern District of Ohio, Eastern Division. Judge Dan Aaron Polster dismissed the case after “representatives of the BMV conceded that the BMV had erred in rejecting the vanity plates.”
Further, the BMV agreed to unlock any of the 62,000 forbidden words in their database that do not meet the standard of being “offensive, disparaging or socially insensitive” and to provide instructions on its website for applicants who believe they have been improperly rejected.

“Judge Polster saw right through the BMV’s attempts to silence drivers it doesn’t agree with and ordered them to get back in line with the First Amendment,” said Bardwell in a statement. “We’re incredibly grateful that he was able to reach a quick decision reaffirming Mr. Saki’s inalienable right to tell the truth about who he is, even when the governor doesn’t approve. We’re excited to see the BMV pull its act together, and we’ll be watching to make sure it doesn’t stray from the judge’s orders.”

Saki was elated with the decision.
“We got lucky with a judge who cut straight to the real question: Are gay Ohioans free to come out and live our lives without the government forcing us back into the closet? Thankfully, our judge knew the right answer and ordered the BMV to let me say who I am,” Mr. Saki told The Buckeye Flame in a statement, adding insouciantly: “I can’t wait for my ‘GAY’ license plate to come, but it’s going to be hard waiting for my boyfriend to mount it on my rear end and screw it all the way in.”
