Posting footage from the city centre on Wednesday evening, fan Jodie remarked: "What do you mean me and my boyfriend were going out for our anniversary drinks in Edinburgh and we stumble across the Real Housewives of Atlanta filming their newest season.

R&B singer Sammie, formerly known as Sammie Lee Bush Jr, was arrested on Oct 19 for domestic abuse and child cruelty . His bond was set at $1,050 per The Shade Room
The 38-year old, known for hits “I Like It” and “You Should Be My Girl,” was booked by the Henry County Police Department. The arrest records list two specific charges. One count is for battery involving domestic violence. The other is for cruelty to children for making them witness a violent act.
It is believed that Sammie shares two children with his partner, Teanna Reid.
Additional details surrounding the arrest are still unknown, however fans and friends dropped down in the comments to defend him.

A night meant for celebration at Lincoln University turned tragic this past weekend when gunfire erupted during homecoming festivities, leaving one man dead and six others wounded.
According to NBC News, authorities identified the victim as 25-year-old J’Wan Jeffers of Wilmington, Delaware. Chester County District Attorney Chris de Barrena-Sarobe confirmed Jeffers died shortly after midnight on Sunday, October 26, from a gunshot wound to the head.
The shooting happened around 9 p.m. on Saturday, October 25, outside the International Cultural Center on the school’s campus in Oxford, Pennsylvania. Crowds had gathered following the homecoming football game for a tailgate-style event when chaos broke out.
“It appears there has been a mass shooting there tonight,” Chester County Commissioner Eric Roe said in a statement, asking the community to keep students, staff, and law enforcement in their thoughts.
Officials said the six injured ranged in age from 20 to 25. One was a current Lincoln University student, another an alumnus, and the others were not directly tied to the school. All are expected to survive.
Investigators believe multiple shooters were involved. “We’re operating under the belief that the shooter, or shooters, in this case, did not come here with a specific design to cause a mass casualty event,” de Barrena-Sarobe explained at a press conference. “We’re treating this as a shooting that broke out in the middle of homecoming weekend.”
Zecqueous Morgan-Thompson, also from Wilmington, was taken into custody after officers responding to the scene saw him with a loaded Glock 28 handgun. He has been charged with carrying a concealed firearm without a license. Investigators have not confirmed whether the weapon recovered was used in the attack.
According to a criminal complaint, Morgan-Thompson admitted to transporting the firearm from Delaware, saying the gun belonged to his mother. He is being held on $25,000 cash bail at Chester County Prison.
Law enforcement agencies—including the FBI—conducted grid searches, brought in canine units, and are continuing ballistic testing to recover evidence.

“I remember it was obvious I was getting fired. My last game, Mangold’s injured. Like, injured. He comes to me and says, ‘I’m playing this game.’ He wanted to play for me. That’s what I remember about this kid. He was awesome and just way too young. I feel so bad for his wife and family – rough.”

Texas warned that payments could stop if the closure extends past October 27, while Wisconsin told residents, “Benefits may not be available in November. You may want to use your benefits to stock up on food before the end of October.”

Food banks are raising alarms that they may not have enough supplies to fill the gaps if benefits are delayed. In Massachusetts, officials estimate a potential loss of 56 million meals next month without SNAP funding.
Some states are trying to create temporary solutions. Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin said he would declare a state of emergency to provide food support, and Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry promised to ensure “seniors, individuals with disabilities, and children who rely on food stamps do not go hungry.”
California Governor Gavin Newsom plans to deploy the National Guard to help food banks, while New Hampshire is expanding access to mobile pantries and local food banks.
The USDA previously warned state and regional SNAP directors that there may not be enough funding for full benefits in November if the government shutdown continues, emphasizing that SNAP has never gone dark during a modern shutdown.
Residents are urged to act now, purchasing shelf-stable essentials to prepare for potential delays.
