#RHOA: Nene Leakes Reportedly Eyeing Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip in 2026?
Real Housewives of Atlanta legend Nene Leakes could make her highly anticipated return to the Bravo universe in 2026.
Pop Tingz reports that chatter is heating up of Leakes’ return to her former stomping grounds following her departure from the show in 2020. It suggest she could make an appearance on an upcoming Bravo series, Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip, bringing her signature humor and energy back to fans who have missed her presence on screen.

It's reported that Leakes is currently in negotiations with the network.
This buzz ties directly back to her statement during an appearance on Tamron Hall back in January.
“If they called, I would answer,” she said. “I would need to hear what they have to say. We have to put a lot of things behind us that some people know, some people don’t know.”

Leakes, 57, echoed the same sentiment during an appearance on The Breakfast Club earlier this year.
“I’ll never say never,” she said. But if they got a check that’s got zero, zero, zero, zero, zero on the end? You know, I might be back. I don’t know, I don’t know!”
Leakes filed a discrimination lawsuit against Bravo, NBC Universal and Andy Cohen back in 2022 following her departure from Housewives. The case was mutually dismissed later that year.

#MusicNews: R&B Legend Carl Carlton Passes Away At 72

Carl Carlton, a renowned R&B singer, has passed away. He was 72.
According to Soultracks, Carlton’s passing comes after he suffered a serious stroke around six years ago. His friends and family members said, “he courageously battled to both live and thrive.”

Starting his career in the mid-1960s as “Little Carl” Carlton, the Detroit native quickly made a name for himself. He recorded some minor local hits, including “So What” and “Don’t You Need a Boy Like Me” in 1965.
Carlton then signed with BackBeat Records in Houston, Texas. He released his first single on that label, “Competition Ain’t Nothing,” in 1968.

Carlton had a hit on the Billboard Best Selling Soul Singles chart with “I Can Feel It”. It spent three weeks in the chart, peaking at no. 47.
His first major success was with “Everlasting Love” in 1974. It peaked at number 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
After years of battling record labels for royalties, Carlton returned in a big way. “She’s a Bad Mama Jama (She’s Built, She’s Stacked)” released on 20th Century Records, became his signature song. Penned by Leon Haywood, the song became a major hit in 1981, peaking at number 2 on the Soul chart. It went on to earn Carlton a Grammy Award nomination for Best R&B Vocal Performance.

Throughout the 1980s, Carlton released several more albums. Carlton appeared on the “Rhythm, Love, and Soul” edition of the PBS series American Soundtrack. The live album, released in 2004, included his performance of “Everlasting Love.”He was accompanied by Aretha Franklin, Lou Rawls, the Three Degrees, Billy Paul, and The Manhattans.
He released his first gospel single, “God Is Good,” in 2010.  In 2011, Carlton was nominated for a Detroit Music Award in the “Outstanding Gospel/Christian Vocalist” category at The Fillmore Detroit theater.

#HipHopNews: Funk Flex Is Not Replacing “Ebro in the Morning” On HOT 97
NYC radio is going through a shake up, and the details are still being verified. Despite early reports, Funk Flex will not be replacing the recently canceled “Ebro in the Morning” slot on HOT 97.

On Friday (Dec. 12), host Ebro Darden revealed and confirmed that his show with co-hosts Peter Rosenberg and Laura Stylez had been cancelled. “It’s done. More to come. #EbroInTheMorning,” he wrote on X.
Later in the day, the Apple Music host released a video where he theorized that his “progressive” political views were at least part of the reason the show was shuttered. The fallout sparked a variety of reactions to the news that — along with sadness and anger at the loss — also included DJ Akademiks mocking their firing and Drake chiming in via emoji.

Through all the chaos, it eventually was revealed that Funk Flex would be holding down the morning airwaves on Monday (Dec. 15). Various outlets even reported that the iconic DJ was taking over moving forward.
However, Funk Flex is adamant that his hosting of the show is only temporary. On Sunday (Dec. 14), he hopped into the comment section of HOT 97’s social media post to stop the speculation in its tracks.

“So we are clear! I’m only covering tomorrow only! (One day),” Flex wrote. After saluting Darden, Rosenberg and Stylez, he added, “Ebro [you were] my boss for years… your passion for the music and dedication to the radio game is unmatched! I love you and I’m going to miss [you]! We been to war together when no one would stand with us!”

As Flex mentioned, Darden stepped down from his coveted position as Program Director of HOT 97 back in 2014. At the time, he was already doing double duty as an on-air talent and said he had to leave the post to participate in the Hip Hop station’s forthcoming reality TV series on VH1. The series, “This Is Hot 97,” was short-lived, but in 2019 he was appointed Apple Music's global editorial head of Hip Hop and R&B.

As for the future of “Ebro in the Morning,” an X post on Friday (Dec. 13) from @TheELRShow encouraged people to subscribe to their YouTube channel.

Director Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele Singer, were found killed in their Los Angeles home on Sunday, and the couple's son, Nick Reiner, has been arrested for murder, according to police.

Nick Reiner, 32, was taken into custody on Sunday night, hours after the couple was found stabbed to death in their Brentwood home, according to law enforcement sources. Nick Reiner is being held without bail, according to authorities.
"Our hearts go out to the family and friends of the Reiners," LAPD Chief Jim McDonnell said Monday.

The Reiners' daughter found her parents' bodies on Sunday, sources told ABC News.

A neighbor told ABC News that actors Billy Crystal and Larry David were seen at the house after police arrived.
"Billy looked like he was about to cry," the neighbor said.
The Reiner family owns two houses across the street from each other. Rob and his wife lived in one and a daughter with kids lived in another, according to the neighbor.

"This is a devastating loss for our city and our country," Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass said in a statement. "Rob Reiner’s contributions reverberate throughout American culture and society, and he has improved countless lives through his creative work and advocacy fighting for social and economic justice."

"Rob’s achievements in film and television gave us some of our most cherished stories on screen," they said.

#RIP: TV Soap Opera Icon Anthony Geary Dies ay 78: ‘General Hospital’ 8-Time Daytime Emmy Winner
Eight-time Daytime Emmy winner Anthony Geary, beloved by generations of television viewers for his iconic portrayal of General Hospital‘s Luke Spencer, passed away on December 14 at the age of 78. His death was the result of complications from a scheduled operation three days earlier.

Weeks before his death, Geary was seen watching former costar Genie Francis‘ appearance on Maurice Benard‘s State of Mind podcast. Geary’s husband, Claudio Gama, posted the video. “It really made Tony very happy,” Gama’s caption read. “He told me, ‘those are two lovely and talented people, great friends, and I miss them.’”

Born May 29, 1947, in Coalville, UT, Geary was raised in a Mormon household by his father, who ran a construction company, and his mother, a homemaker. Geary grew up alongside three sisters, Dana, DeAnn, and Jana. Though his mother hoped he might pursue a career in teaching, Geary felt an early and undeniable pull toward acting, a passion that would define his life and career.

While studying at the University of Utah, Geary’s talent caught the attention of Jack Albertson of Chico and the Man fame, who attended a performance by the promising sophomore. Albertson cast him in a touring stage production of The Subject Was Roses, a pivotal moment that launched his professional career. Over the years, Geary would go on to appear in more than 50 stage productions, maintaining a devotion to theater alongside his screen work.

In the late 1960s, Geary relocated to Los Angeles, where he began to build a steady résumé in television, appearing in popular series like The Partridge Family, The Mod Squad, and All in the Family. He soon found a home on soaps, first as David Lockhart on Bright Promise from 1971-1972, followed by the controversial role of George Curtis, a rapist, during the inaugural year of The Young and the Restless. His work ultimately caught the attention of legendary producer Gloria Monty, who cast him as GH‘s Luke in 1978, a decision that would change the landscape of daytime television.

That casting proved historic when Geary was paired with Genie Francis’ Laura Webber. Their electrifying chemistry and the wildly popular on-the-run storyline in 1980 propelled GH to the top of the ratings, transforming Luke and Laura into a cultural phenomenon. In 1981, the duo appeared on the cover of Newsweek, a rare honor for daytime performers. Luke and Laura’s wedding that November drew an estimated 30 million viewers and featured screen legend Elizabeth Taylor, an avid GH fan, in the role of Helena Cassadine. To commemorate the event, Geary, Francis, and Taylor graced the cover of People magazine.

Following Francis’ departure in 1982, Geary continued to anchor the series, working opposite Demi Moore (Jackie Templeton) and Emma Samms (Holly Sutton). Francis returned in 1983, and the pair later exited together, briefly returning in 1984. In 1991, Geary rejoined the show as Luke’s lookalike cousin, Bill Eckert, a role he played until 1993, before once again resuming the role of Luke.
The day before Geary was scheduled to go into the hospital, he did a scene with Anders Hove (Cesar Faison, GH), for an upcoming project, marking his final acting work.

In addition to GH, Geary appeared in numerous film and television projects, including Intimate Agony, Do You Know the Muffin Man?, The Disorderlies, You Can’t Hurry Love, Crack House, Weird Al Yankovic‘s UHF, Scorchers, Night of the Warrior, and Carpool Guy.

Geary is survived by Gama, who shares with TV Insider exclusively, “It was a shock for me and our families and our friends. For more than 30 years, Tony has been my friend, my companion, my husband.” For the last 16 years, their family also included “little Max,” their beloved cat. Following his retirement from GH in 2015, Geary lived exclusively in Amsterdam, a city he deeply loved and considered home.

Geary’s work reshaped daytime television, and his influence will be felt for generations. Though he will always be remembered as Luke Spencer, his legacy endures as that of a fearless performer and singular talent who left an indelible mark on the medium.

Patrick Mahomes Suffers Torn ACL, Chiefs Eliminated From Playoffs

Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs’ run of dominance has come to an abrupt end.
After Sunday’s loss to the Los Angeles Chargers, the Chiefs were officially eliminated from the postseason for the first time since 2014.
Mahomes, a two-time league MVP and three-time Super Bowl MVP, has previously made the AFC Championship Game in each season since 2018.

In more bad news, Mahomes sustained a season-ending ACL injury.
“It didn’t look good,” Reid said when asked about Mahomes’ injury. “We’ll just see where it goes.”
He took to X (formerly Twitter) to give an update on his health status.
“Don’t know why this had to happen,” Mahomes wrote. And not going to lie, it hurts.”

“But all we can do now is Trust in God and attack every single day over and over again. Thank you, Chiefs kingdom, for always supporting me,” he continued. “And for everyone who has reached out and sent prayers. I Will be back stronger than ever.”
“I just hugged him, man,” pass rusher Chris Jones said. “That’s my brother. We’ve been through so much. We love Pat.”
“Success is rented every year,” Jones continued. “Sometimes it doesn’t go the way you planned for it to go. I think we learned a lot this year.

Along with Mahomes’ injury, Travis Kelce, 36, is in the final year of his contract. Last month, Kelce said that he would decide if he would return to the Chiefs in March before NFL free agency begins.
“Sorry, guys, it’s not the time,” Kelce said after the game. “I’ll catch you guys during the week.”

The Chiefs entered the season attempting to be the second team to go to four Super Bowls.  Less than a month ago, the Chiefs were favored to win the Super Bowl.
The Chiefs (6-8) play at the Tennessee Titans (2-12) in Week 16.

Trey Songz Arrested After Allegedly Punching NYC Nightclub Employee
Trey Songz was arrested earlier this month after prosecutors say he punched a New York City nightclub employee during a dispute over closing time. The 41-year-old performer, whose legal name is Tremaine Aldon Neverson, appeared in Manhattan Criminal Court on Sunday.
Songz was arraigned on third-degree assault charges connected to the Dec. 4 incident at Dramma Night Club in Times Square. Prosecutors allege he struck a club worker in the face after being told the venue was closing in the early morning hours.

According to court filings, the employee informed Songz and his group that it was closing time around 4:25 a.m. “He became needlessly irate,” prosecutors said, and then punched the worker in the face. The complaint states the victim suffered swelling and significant pain.
In addition to the assault charge, Songz faces a second-degree criminal mischief count related to an unrelated incident earlier that same morning. Prosecutors allege he caused roughly $1,500 in damage to property at Mira, a nearby restaurant and hookah lounge.

At his arraignment, Songz appeared wearing a black face mask and did not address reporters about the allegations. Judge issued an order of protection for the nightclub employee and set Songz’s next court date for Feb. 18, 2026. He was released on his own recognizance.

Songz’s attorney released a statement defending the singer and suggesting there was provocation leading up to the incidents. “Public figures are often treated as targets for instigation in pursuit of headlines or financial gain,” the lawyer said. “We are confident the facts will speak for themselves.
The attorney also said Songz is “cooperating fully in both matters” and looks forward to the full context emerging as the case progresses.

This arrest adds to a history of legal troubles for Songz. In previous years, he faced assault allegations and other controversies, including an arrest in 2016 after a concert and more recent investigations for alleged altercations in public settings.
Music industry observers say the case could impact Songz’s public image and business opportunities. Some fans and critics have taken to social media to weigh in on the latest developments, with opinions sharply divided over his conduct and legacy.

The Weeknd Lands $1 Billion Catalog Partnership With Innovative Deal

The Weeknd closed a groundbreaking $1 billion business venture with Lyric Capital Group that covers his entire music catalog from inception through 2025.
The Canadian superstar maintains creative control and ownership stakes in the innovative partnership announced on December 13. The deal breaks from traditional catalog sales by keeping Abel Tesfaye as a shareholder and company owner.

Representatives confirmed the joint venture gives The Weeknd complete creative freedom over his publishing and master recordings while securing massive capital investment.
“From the beginning of the meeting, it was clear to all at Lyric that Abel would not sell his catalog,” a representative told Variety. “He wanted to be more innovative and creative in the way we established a partnership.”

The partnership covers only music released through 2025 and excludes future projects. The Weeknd continues his relationship with XO/Republic/Universal Music Group while Universal Music Publishing Group administers his publishing catalog.
The timing coincides with The Weeknd’s record-breaking “After Hours ‘Til Dawn” tour, surpassing $1 billion in gross revenue. The tour achievement made him the first male solo artist to reach that milestone.
Lyric Capital created what they call a “first-of-its-kind ‘Royalty Backed Note'” produced with Partners Group. The structure offers artist-friendly terms while providing significant capital without the traditional catalog-sale restrictions.

The Weeknd commands over 120 million monthly Spotify listeners, cementing his status as one of the world’s most popular recording artists. His catalog includes hits from albums like “After Hours” and “Dawn FM,” as well as breakthrough mixtapes that launched his career.
Lyric Capital invests in music royalties and owns Spirit Music Group, which controls catalogs from Tim McGraw, Jason Aldean and Ingrid Michaelson.

The company specializes in artist-friendly structures for high-value catalog partnerships. The partnership sets a new precedent for major artists seeking capital while maintaining creative control.

Russell Simmons Blasts Kimora Lee After She Says She Has No Relationship With Her Kids’ Fathers

Russell Simmons is publicly pushing back after his ex Kimora Lee Simmons said she does not have a relationship with the fathers of her children, igniting a fresh round of tension between the former couple.
The Def Jam co-founder responded on social media after a People interview featuring Kimora began circulating. In the piece, the fashion mogul spoke candidly about her personal life and co-parenting experiences, claiming she does not maintain relationships with her children’s fathers and adding that “guys are weird.”

Simmons took issue with the remarks and shared a lengthy response, disputing Kimora’s characterization of their history. In his Threads post, Simmons alleged that he financially supported Kimora with $50,000 a month for two decades and described himself as her “best and only friend” during that time. He also claimed to be the godfather to three of her other children.

According to Simmons, their relationship deteriorated after he accused Kimora of taking stock he says belonged to him, a dispute he claims has left him fighting for access to his children and financial stability. He further alleged that he was threatened with losing contact with his kids if he pursued legal action, concluding his post by stating, “There are two sides to every story.”

Kimora has not publicly responded to Simmons’ latest claims. The former couple, who married in 1998 and divorced in 2009, share two daughters together and have long had a complicated public history marked by legal disputes and conflicting narratives about their relationship and family dynamics.

‘Zootopia 2’ Returns to No. 1 as ‘Ella McCay’ Suffers One of Worst Debuts Ever for Disney With $2 Million
Disney is experiencing the highs and lows the box office has to offer. On one hand, the studio’s animated sequel “Zootopia 2” returned to No. 1 in North America in its third weekend after sprinting past the $1 billion mark. On the other, the political dramedy “Ella McCay” cratered with $2.1 million in its domestic debut, suffering one of the worst openings in modern times for Disney.

To be fair, “Ella McCay” cost $35 million to produce, which is way less than Disney tends to spend on its theatrical releases. Most of the studio’s movies — including franchise fare from Marvel and “Avatar,” as well as family-friendly sensations like “Inside Out 2” and “Lilo & Stitch” — typically carry budgets above $200 million. Although “Ella McCay” isn’t in danger of turning a profit for Disney, the PG-13 misfire probably won’t cause heads to roll, either.

“Ella McCay,” written and directed by “The Simpsons” co-creator and “As Good As It Gets” filmmaker James L. Brooks, landed behind already low projections of $4 million. It’s not exactly a mystery as to why ticket sales missed the mark. “Ella McCay” is the kind of mid-budget film that studios hardly make anymore because audiences don’t show up to see them. And this one — a comedic drama about a young politician (Emma Mackey) who unexpectedly becomes her state’s governor — was roundly rejected by critics (a 24% Rotten Tomatoes average) and moviegoers (a “B-” grade on CinemaScore exit polls). “Ella McCay” continues a miserable box office run for Brooks after 2004’s “Spanglish” ($55 million against an $80 million budget) and 2010’s “How Do You Know?” ($48 million against a $120 million budget). However, the Oscar-winner could end his theatrical dry spell with Disney and 20th Century’s “The Simpsons Movie” in 2027.

“James L. Brooks defined character storytelling in the ‘80s and ‘90s with a string of award-winning comedy dramas,” says analyst David A. Gross of Franchise Entertainment Research. “Today, you can find material like this on television and even on social media, where it benefits from authenticity.”

“Zootopia 2,” after ceding the top spot to Universal and Blumhouse’s horror sequel “Five Nights at Freddy’s 2,” returned to first place with $26.3 million in its third weekend, a 39% decline from its prior outing. The family-friendly adventure has grossed $259 million domestically and $1.13 billion globally to date to stand as just the second Hollywood release this year to cross the coveted $1 billion mark.
“Five Nights at Freddy’s 2” slid to second place with $19.5 million, a brutal 70% drop from its scary-good $64 million debut. That’s rough, but not as bad as the original “Five Nights at Freddy’s” — which cratered by 76.2% in its second weekend while playing simultaneously on streaming. Still, “Five Nights at Freddy’s 2” cost just $36 million and registers as an undisputed win for Blumhouse, having already grossed $95 million and $173 million globally after two weekends in theaters.

“Wicked: For Good” remained at No. 3 with $8.5 million in its fourth weekend of release, a 51% decline from its prior outing. So far, Universal’s big-budget musical has earned $312 million domestically and $467 million globally. “Wicked: For Good” appears to be running out of steam much faster than its predecessor, 2024’s “Wicked,” which powered to $474 million in North America and $758 million globally.

A standout at the specialty box office includes Chloe Zhao’s “Hamnet” with $1.5 million from 749 venues. (That’s roughly $500,000 less than “Ella McCay” despite playing in a fraction of the number of theaters.) So far, “Hamnet, a well-reviewed tragedy starring Jessie Buckley and Paul Mescal that follows the death of William Shakespeare’s son, has amassed $7 million to date.

After this glum weekend, overall ticket sales sit at $8.1 billion, a mere 0.5% ahead of last year as well as 22.7% behind 2019, according to Comscore. Cinemas are about to get a major boost, though, from holiday offerings including James Cameron’s epic “Avatar: Fire and Ash,” Paramount’s “The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants” and Lionsgate thriller “The Housemaid” on Dec. 19, as well as A24 Timothée Chalamet-led ping-pong adventure “Marty Supreme,” the Focus Features musical drama “Song Sung Blue” starring Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson, and Sony’s disaster comedy “Anaconda” with Jack Black and Paul Rudd on Christmas Day. Will these blockbuster-hopefuls manage to power the domestic box office past the $9 billion benchmark?

Mariah Carey & Anderson .Paak Have Allegedly SPLIT!
*Keep in mind the source, but word on the street is that Mariah Carey and Anderson .Paak are done as a 2-some, according to Media Take Out. The site dropped the exclusive on Friday (12-12-25), and the tea is still piping.

After nearly a year together, the two quietly called it quits. No cheating, no scandal—just a clean break.
Basically, she’s Mariah Carey and doesn’t need a reason. Sources say the romance “fizzled out” naturally. Translation? He got the holiday boot before she had to buy him a gift.

Insiders say Anderson is “devastated” and genuinely thought Mimi was “the one.” Poor guy. He’s reportedly heartbroken and laying low, probably crying into a silk scarf while mixing moody beats.
Meanwhile, Mariah is glowing, moisturized, unbothered, and ascending to her final holiday form. One source said she’s “in great spirits,” which we all know means: booked, busy, and dodging texts.

Lipstick Alley wasted zero time. One commenter gave us the quote of the day:
“Always looked like he won a competition to date her. I bet she dumped him because of the teeth.” Ouch.

Another user kept it sweet: “I can’t even explain why I liked them together, but I did. Hmmm… looking forward to his next album.”
A third summed it up perfectly: “Mariah loves a goofy man.”
If there’s one thing Mariah Carey’s gonna do, it’s exit a relationship like a diva. No mess, no public drama—just a quiet fade and a flawless photoshoot. She’s the blueprint.

Ending things right before Christmas? Iconic. She has a brand to protect and no time for cuffing-season nonsense. Let’s be real—this was always Mariah’s season. He was just visiting.
Anderson .Paak hasn’t said a word publicly, but fans are already prepping for the inevitable heartbreak anthem. If you see a tiny hat and drum kit with tears on it, mind your business.
He’s a Grammy-winning musician, so this split might turn into a masterpiece. Maybe even a deluxe album. Heartbreak sells, and this one’s got glitter on it.

Mariah’s back on her throne, where she belongs. Expect holiday specials, surprise drops, and maybe a shady remix of “Obsessed.” As for Anderson, he might be quietly journaling in falsetto.
No official statements yet, but the silence speaks volumes. Mariah’s letting the wind machines talk. And Anderson? He might be letting the sax do the crying.

Cardi B Delivers Historic First Performance in Saudi Arabia at Soundstorm 2025
Soundstorm 2025 had its moment the second Cardi B touched the main stage in Riyadh.
Making her Saudi Arabia debut, Cardi closed out the final night with a performance that shifted the entire energy of the festival. The Banban desert filled fast, and by the time she began, it was clear the crowd was there for her.

She ran through records the crowd already knew by heart, including “I Like It,” “Bartier Cardi,” “Press,” and “No Limit,” then performed her newer music from Am I the Drama?, performing “Pretty & Petty” without losing momentum.
Cardi then stepped off the stage to greet fans up close. She also made space for respect and acknowledgment. Cardi opened with “As-salamu alaykum!” and kept checking in with the audience by asking, “Saudi Arabia, how we doing tonight?”

Throughout the set, she thanked the crowd and called the moment “mashallah,” making it clear she understood the significance of where she was.
By the end of the night, many attendees were already calling it the strongest set of the weekend. Around 30,000 people filled the grounds on the final night, and Cardi’s set pulled one of the largest crowds of the festival.

Even with more than 200 artists on the lineup, including Post Malone, Halsey, and Davido, her debut stood out.
Cardi delivered a high energy yet respectful set that aligned with local expectations while staying true to who she is.

Judge Tosses Fat Shaming Claims In Lawsuit Against Lizzo

A California judge has removed fat shaming allegations from the lawsuit targeting Lizzo, delivering a notable legal win for the singer as the case continues to unfold.

The ruling cuts down one of the most damaging claims made by her former dancers and shifts the focus of the ongoing dispute.
The lawsuit was filed by Arianna Davis, Noelle Rodriguez, and Crystal Williams, who accused Lizzo of inappropriate conduct during their time on tour. While multiple allegations were originally included, the court has now determined that the fat shaming claims will not move forward.

At the center of the decision was a secret recording made by Davis during a private dancer meeting. Court findings show the recording was created without permission and later shared with Williams, who was no longer employed on The Special Tour at the time. The judge ruled that this conduct justified Davis’ termination.

Lizzo’s legal team has maintained that the accusations lacked factual support from the start.
Attorneys Marty Singer and Melissa Glass told TMZ that 18 witnesses testified and rejected the narrative that Lizzo body shamed her dancers, reinforcing the court’s decision to dismiss those claims.

After the ruling, the plaintiffs opted not to appeal the dismissal of the fat shaming allegations. Still, their attorney Ronald Zambrano emphasized that the lawsuit is far from over.
In a statement to TMZ, he said, “We are maintaining that Judge Epstein was correct in his ruling denying Lizzo’s special motion to strike the vast majority of claims they attacked, including false imprisonment and harassment. Of the couple of claims Judge Epstein did dismiss, the plaintiffs have taken a considered approach to leave that be. One would hope to see the same level of intellectual honesty and neutral assessment from the defendants, but that hasn’t been the case thus far and it’s disappointing.”

Although the fat shaming claims are now off the table, Lizzo continues to face other serious accusations. The remaining claims include allegations that she pressured dancers to interact with nude performers at Bananenbar in Amsterdam. Lizzo has denied those allegations through her attorneys, who say they are confident she will ultimately prevail.

Lizzo previously addressed the emotional impact of the lawsuit during a 2024 interview with Keke Palmer, where she said she was “blindsided” by the accusations.

Erika Kirk and Candace Owens Agree to Private Meeting After Explosive Feud Over Charlie Kirk’s Death
Erika Kirk and Candace Owens have agreed to meet privately on Monday, December 15, after months of public tension, online sparring, and nonstop controversy surrounding the death of Erika’s husband, Charlie Kirk.
Both women confirmed the meeting on X and made it clear that public discussions, livestreams, and tweets are officially on pause until after the conversation happens. In internet terms, the noise is muted and the group chat is closed.

The meeting comes after Candace Owens spent months questioning the official account of Charlie Kirk’s assassination. Charlie, the founder of Turning Point USA, was killed earlier this year, and authorities charged a suspect shortly after. While the case moved forward publicly, Candace repeatedly suggested that the story being told did not add up.

Owens has alleged that Charlie was betrayed by people close to him, hinted that insiders within Turning Point USA may have had information they were not sharing, and floated theories suggesting the killing was part of something larger than a lone attacker. She also raised suspicions about security failures, timing issues, and unexplained movements on the day of the attack. None of those claims have been backed by confirmed evidence.

As the speculation spread, Erika Kirk publicly pushed back. She called the theories damaging, hurtful, and reckless, saying they reopened wounds for her family and the people who were actually present during the tragedy. Erika made it clear that turning her husband’s death into online content crossed a line.

Candace did not retreat. Instead, she expanded her criticism, questioning the integrity of Turning Point USA leadership, mocking the legitimacy of The Charlie Kirk Show, and framing herself as someone asking the “real questions” others were afraid to ask. That framing only fueled the backlash.

What started as commentary quickly turned personal. The feud spilled across timelines, podcasts, and comment sections, with supporters on both sides digging in. At that point, the situation stopped being about disagreement and started looking like a full-blown public meltdown built on grief, ego, and attention.

Now, both women are stepping away from the chaos to speak privately. No cameras. No audience. No viral clips. Just a conversation that many believe should have happened long ago.
Whether this meeting brings clarity, closure, or another chapter remains to be seen. But for now, the timeline is quiet, and everyone is waiting to see what happens when the tweets stop and the truth has to be said out loud.
