#FASHIONFAB: Michelle Obama Promotes Her New Book in Hervé Léger on JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE!

Shelley O stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live to promote her book The Look, but also to slay the house down and to eulogize her friends properly. She’s a multi-tasker.
The dress is a drop-dead stunner and very much not in the traditional post-FLOTUS mode. The color and fit are spectacular. That’s a really fun brooch, but we don’t think the dress needs it. It’s a little focus-pulling. Still, she looks absolutely gorgeous and she managed to offer some grace and kindness regarding the death of her friends Rob and Michelle Reiner. A class act forever.
#RHOA: Claudia Jordan Says She’s Open To Returning To “RHOA”
Claudia Jordan says the door is not closed on a possible return to “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.”
The former Bravo star recently said she would consider rejoining the long-running reality series under the right conditions. Jordan, who appeared during Season 7, has remained a familiar voice in entertainment media since leaving the show.
Jordan addressed the topic during a recent interview while reflecting on her time with the franchise. She said growth, timing and creative balance would factor into any decision.
“I would absolutely be open to having the conversation,” Jordan said. “I’m not desperate, but I’m also not closed off to it.”
Jordan joined “RHOA” in 2014 as a full-time cast member. Her season featured high-profile conflicts and sharp exchanges that quickly made her a standout. Despite a single-season run, her impact remains part of the show’s history.
“I think people forget how much I brought in one season,” she said. “I didn’t hide, and I didn’t play it safe.
Jordan said she has no regrets about how she handled herself during her season. She described the experience as intense but formative.
“It was a pressure cooker, but it taught me a lot about myself,” Jordan said. “You learn quickly who you are when the cameras don’t stop.”
She also said the environment has changed since her departure. Jordan believes production and audience expectations are different today.
“The show isn’t the same show it was ten years ago,” she said. “Everyone is more aware, more careful and more strategic.”
Jordan added that she would only return if her full personality could be shown.
“I wouldn’t come back to be muted or managed,” she said. “If I return, it has to be authentic.”
Bravo has faced ratings pressure and cast shakeups in recent seasons. Fans have openly called for familiar faces to return. Jordan said she understands the nostalgia.
“People want real connections again,” she said. “They want women who aren’t afraid to speak.”
Jordan also emphasized that her life is fuller now. She balances radio hosting, acting projects and brand partnerships.
“My life is very different today,” she said. “I’m happier, more confident and more grounded.”
She said that evolution could add depth if she returned.
“I’d be coming back as a woman who knows her worth,” Jordan said. “That changes everything.”
For now, Jordan said no formal talks have taken place. Still, she made it clear the idea is not off the table.
“If the timing is right and the offer makes sense, why not?” she said. “Atlanta will always be part of my story.”

#HipHopNews: Nelly And Metro Boomin Reunite St. Lunatics For First Album In 25 Years
The St. Lunatics are reuniting for their first new album after a 25-year hiatus.
Metro Boomin, a St. Louis native, will executive produce the project.
The collaboration bridges generations of Midwest Hip Hop talent.
St. Lunatics fans rejoice. During a recent performance, Nelly revealed that the group will be delivering a new album in 2026 that will be executive produced by Metro Boomin.
While performing on Sunday (Dec. 14), the St. Louis rapper told the crowd about next year’s plans. “Love in St. Louis from top to bottom one time,” Nelly said in a clip shared on X. “Again, St. Lunatics 2026 executive produced by Metro Boomin. St. Louis we in the building, we turning up 2026 one time!"
The St. Lunatics consist of Nelly, Ali, Murphy Lee, Kyjuan, City Spud and Slo Down, who are all childhood friends. After the massive success of Nelly’s major label debut, Country Grammar, in 2000, the group was signed to its own record deal that same year. The crew’s debut, Free City, was released a year later and featured the singles “Midwest Swing” and “Batter Up,” and eventually was certified platinum.
Ali and Murphy Lee released solo albums in 2002 and 2003, respectively. To date, the group only released their one studio album as a collective. Lately, they’ve gotten more publicity for suing their own friend than their actual music. In September 2024, a lawsuit was filed against Nelly by Ali, Lee, Kyjuan and City Spud for copyright infringement. The four claimed they were never properly credited for their contributions to Country Grammar and Free City and were seeking $50 million in royalty payments.
However, soon after the suit was filed, Lee, Kyjuan and City Spud requested they be removed. The trio claimed they “did not authorize” their inclusion. Ali remained, but in April, he dropped the lawsuit. Nelly would assert that the whole thing was due to people being “misinformed” while his relationship with Ali had been and continues to remain strained.
There is no indication yet whether or not Ali will be part of the new project. As for Metro Boomin, while the producer’s sound has been intrinsic in the success of Atlanta Hip Hop music for over a decade, he is a proud St. Louis native.
Young Metro teaming with Hip Hop icons from his hometown sounds like a recipe for success.
Dionne Warwick Is Getting Sued by Her Own Royalty Collectors

Dionne Warwick is being sued by a rights firm that claims she has backed out of a deal that entitles them to “hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of dollars” for work recovering her royalties, court records show. The company, Artists Rights Enforcement Corporation, cites its negotiation of terms and payment for the “Walk on By” sample in Doja Cat’s “Paint the Town Red” as a key payday for which it is owed an ongoing cut of royalties. Warwick’s team did not immediately respond to Pitchfork’s request for comment.
In the lawsuit, filed in New York on Monday (December 15), Artists Rights claims that, since its 2002 deal with Warwick, the company has waived upfront fees in exchange for half of any royalties and settlements it negotiates and collects on her behalf, in perpetuity. That work includes managing the royalty agreement that resulted from Warwick’s 2002 lawsuit against Atlantic—over her ownership of her Scepter Masters and classic single “Then Came You”—as well as a deal involving royalties owed to Warwick by Sony, which were being funneled to the state of California to pay off Warwick’s tax bill. Artist Rights claims it has already agreed to reduce or waive its fees for various work done for Warwick over the years, and that the sum of its efforts is more than $2.5 million in revenue—including that recent boon from “Paint the Town Red.”
This September, however, Warwick allegedly sought to end the deal and to directly receive royalties from Sony, Rhino, and the British copyright collective PPL. Artists Rights argues that this violates their contract. The company says it is entitled to ongoing income for deals it negotiated—a structure designed to offset the risk it took on by waiving upfront fees. This type of agreement is not unheard of, according to Billboard, mirroring the no-win-no-fee model employed by some legal firms. Artists Rights is seeking the reinstatement of its cut from Warwick’s royalty deals as well as compensation and interest for missed payments since her attempted termination of the contract.
Professional Boxer Terence Crawford retires from boxing
Five-division champion Terence Crawford said Tuesday that he has retired from boxing.
The announcement came just three months after Crawford became the only boxer in the four-belt era to become an undisputed champion in three weight classes, accomplishing the feat when he defeated Canelo Alvarez for the undisputed super middleweight championship in September.
Crawford posted on social media that he was "walking away as a great with nothing else left to prove."
"I'm stepping away from competition, not because I'm done fighting but because I've won a different kind of battle. The one where you walk away on your own terms," Crawford said on his YouTube channel. "This isn't goodbye, this is the end of one fight and the beginning of another."
He added: "I gave this sport every breath I had. Every scar, every triumph, every ounce of my heart. I've made peace with what's next. And now, it's time. Thank you."
Crawford, 38, retires with a 42-0 record, with 31 wins coming by knockout. In addition to being undisputed at super middleweight, he became undisputed in the welterweight division when he defeated Errol Spence Jr. by knockout in July 2023, and was the undisputed champion of the junior welterweight division when he stopped Julius Indongo in August 2017.
Crawford has held 18 major world championships across five weight classes: lightweight, junior welterweight, welterweight, junior middleweight and super middleweight. He topped ESPN's Top 100 fighters of 2025 and retired as the No. 1 pound-for-pound fighter in the sport.
Terence Crawford's September victory over Canelo Alvarez made him the only boxer in the four-belt era to become an undisputed champion in three weight classes. He retired Tuesday with a 42-0 record. David Becker/AP
"I spent my whole life chasing something," Crawford said. "Not belts, not money, not headlines. But that feeling, the one you get when the world doubts you and you keep showing up and you keep proving everyone wrong."
Fighting out of Omaha, Nebraska, Crawford made his professional debut in 2008 after falling short in his bid to make the 2008 U.S. Olympic team. His debut wasn't met with as much fanfare as those of his peers, and he flew under the radar until he stepped in on three days' notice to face Breidis Prescott for his first televised fight in the co-main event of the Brandon Rios-Mike Alvarado 2 card on HBO in 2013. He easily outpointed Prescott and went on to win his first major world title by defeating Ricky Burns for the WBO lightweight title in 2014.
Crawford struggled to land fights with the bigger names in boxing and split from Top Rank following his 2021 stoppage win over Shawn Porter. The move paid off, and Crawford signed a deal to face unified welterweight champion Spence to determine an undisputed champion. In a breakout performance, he dominated Spence, cementing his place as one of the best fighters of his generation.
But Crawford wasn't content and pursued a fight with Alvarez, who competed three weight classes above him at 168 pounds. After defeating Israil Madrimov in his lone fight at 154 pounds in 2024, Crawford secured a September fight with Alvarez.
Although he competed with a size disadvantage, Crawford brilliantly outboxed Alvarez and won a unanimous decision. There was speculation that Crawford would seek a fourth undisputed title at 160 pounds or fight YouTuber-turned-prizefighter Jake Paul, but Crawford opted for retirement instead.
Tamar Braxton Denies Romantic Involvement With Birdman, Says She Introduced Him to Toni

Tamar Braxton denies that she's having an affair with her brother-in-law, Birdman. In fact, the R&B vocalist and reality television star claims that she introduced the music executive and rapper to his now-wife, Toni Braxton.
Tamar, who stars on family reality show The Braxtons, appeared on talk show Sherri on Wednesday (Dec. 16), where she shut down the rumor that she was romantically involved with the Cash Money Records co-founder.
"Brian and I were friends first," Tamar explained, referring to Birdman by his legal name. "And like real, platonic friends. He was actually dating one of my friends a long time ago. So when they broke up, Brian and I became really good friends because him and Slim [Williams] wanted to sign me to Cash Money Records."
Tamar added that Birdman tried to inquire about Toni, who was married to her then-husband, musician Keri Lewis, whom she divorced in 2013 after twelve years of marriage. "And so when Toni got a divorce, [Birdman] was serious about her and made his way in."
Tamar added that she was upset about the accusation that her other sister, Tawanda, made about her having an affair with another one of Toni's exes, because he was "abusive" towards her. Elsewhere, Tamar described Birdman as a "brother" so close that he could almost be "blood."
The singer also explained that she stepped in to support Birdman for her older sister when she was absent during Cash Money vs. No Limit Records' Verzuz during ComplexCon in October.
"When I was wiping the sweat off of him, first of all, it was
water. I would just like, 'Wipe me down.' I was in it," Tamar joked.
Toni Braxton, who married Birdman last August after nearly ten years of dating, described her husband as her "bestie" in a recent People interview.
"I’m a hopeless romantic," Braxton told the outlet. “I’ve learned that romance is never over. It’s ageless."
Michigan Football Players Feel ‘Betrayed’ By Ex-Head Coach Sherrone Moore
Add the respect of his former players to the list of things #SherroneMoore has lost this month.
#Michigan interim head coach Biff Poggi recently spoke about the team’s mindset following Moore’s highly publicized firing and arrest. During a press conference ahead of Michigan’s Cheez-It Citrus Bowl matchup against the Texas Longhorns on December 31, Poggi addressed the emotional fallout, saying, “It has been a tumultuous time. A lot of anger, at first disbelief, then anger, then really, what we’re in right now is the kids, quite frankly, feel very betrayed, and we’re trying to work through that.”
Earlier this month, Moore, who is married and has three children, was fired after Michigan officials said they uncovered “credible evidence” that he engaged in an inappropriate relationship with a staff member. Following his termination, Moore was arrested after allegedly breaking into the woman’s home and a$$aulting her. He was later charged with felonious third-degree home invasion, along with two misdemeanors: stalking in a dome$tic relationship and breaking and entering. Moore was released on $25,000 bond and is scheduled to return to court next month.

The Breakfast Club Heads To Netflix As Streamer Secures Exclusive iHeart Media Video Podcast Deal

Congratulations are in order for The Breakfast Club!
Netflix is expanding its content slate by stepping deeper into the podcast space through a new exclusive video partnership with iHeartMedia. The agreement brings video editions of several well-known talk series to the streaming giant, including The Breakfast Club, hosted by Charlamagne tha God, #DJEnvy, Jess Hilarious, and Loren LoRosa.
Under the deal, video versions of more than 15 #iHeartMedia podcasts will be available to stream exclusively on Netflix, and full episodes will no longer be distributed on #YouTube. Some other titles included in the lineup are #ChelseaHandler’s weekly show, Dear Chelsea, My Favorite Murder, Bobby Bones Presents: The Bobbycast, Behind the Bastards, and This Is Important, featuring Workaholics stars Adam Devine, Anders Holm, and Blake Anderson.
The move mirrors Netflix’s earlier podcast-related partnership with #Spotify and signals the streamer’s continued push into unscripted and creator-led content ahead of 2026. New iHeartMedia video podcast episodes are expected to debut on Netflix in early 2026 in the U.S., with additional international markets rolling out later. While Netflix will house the video content, iHeartMedia will maintain ownership and distribution of all audio-only versions, which will remain available on the iHeartRadio app and other major podcast platforms, including Apple Podcasts and Spotify.
Hannibal Burruss Settles with Miami PD Over False Arrest

Hannibal just received a $200k settlement for the false arrest...From Miami New Times. The City of Miami will pay $200,000 to settle a lawsuit alleging one of its police officers falsely arrested comedian Hannibal Buress in 2017 on a bogus disorderly intoxication charge.
On Thursday morning, several weeks after Buress and the city’s attorneys decided to settle the 2020 case — in which Buress alleged that Miami Police Department (MPD) officer Luis Verne arrested him on a bogus charge after he mocked him during a night out in Wynwood in 2017 — city commissioners voted unanimously to approve the settlement with the comedian.
Buress is a stand-up comedian best known for his work on The Eric Andre Show and his acting role as Lincoln Rice on Broad City. His attorney didn’t respond to New Times’ request for comment.

This November, Rocky joked that the album wouldn’t be coming out at all during a recent vlog from Maurice Kamara’s The People Gallery. “Don’t Be Dumb. Never dropping” Rocky joked. “They gonna kill us for that one.”
In October, Rocky told us about the personal importance of the album’s title as a motto. “I used to do a lot of dumb shit. Now, I try to move on some straight and narrow shit,” Rocky said. “So, the smartest thing I did this year was just learn from a lot of mistakes that I made in the past. I think we all should try to learn from mistakes. Some people don't evolve from it, but for me, I've been really trying to dissect all the mistakes I did and try my best to convert them into a positive. Sorry to sound cliché. Rihanna Supports ASAP Rocky’s ‘Don’t Be Dumb’ Cover Art Reveal

ASAP Rocky has released the cover art for his upcoming album, Don’t Be Dumb, and of course, his partner Rihanna made it known that she’s proud of her man.
That's when RiRi chimed in under the post in support of her man, writing: "So f*cking proud!!!! LETS GOOOO BABY."
Out of nowhere, the Harlem rapper shared the cover art of his forthcoming album, Don't Be Dumb, on Tuesday.Last year, when speaking to Billboard about Don’t Be Dumb, Rocky revealed that he tried to collaborate with Burton on the artwork for the LP, but their schedules seemingly didn’t align at the time to make it happen.
“I sat and I played the album for Tim Burton, and he was fucking with it heavy,” Rocky said. “He was rocking his head and he’s like, ‘Wow! I didn’t know you made that kind of music!'”Rocky’s latest tease for Don’t Be Dumb comes after several delays for the project which, at one point, caused preorder for it to be canceled and refunded. Last year, when we spoke to him about the reasons for it being delayed, Rocky blamed it on a couple of things.
“There were different reasons why, mainly being leaks and clearance stuff,” he explained. “But it gave me more time to be creative and put some finishing touches.”
“I'm a perfectionist and I think sometimes that's my own worst enemy,” he continued. “I like to keep revising and editing, pushing things to the limit. I want to explore every option and every possibility. I want to assure that all of my fans will be fulfilled when they get this music.”This November, Rocky joked that the album wouldn’t be coming out at all during a recent vlog from Maurice Kamara’s The People Gallery. “Don’t Be Dumb. Disco queen Donna Summer receives songwriting honor from Hall of Fame

Donna Summer worked hard for the music, writing songs that defined a generation, and this week the Songwriters Hall of Fame honored her lasting legacy.
The unmistakable voice of the disco era was posthumously inducted during an intimate ceremony held Dec. 15 in The Butterfly Room at Cecconi's in West Hollywood.
Academy Award-winning songwriter Paul Williams led the induction, celebrating Summer's extraordinary songwriting contributions and enduring influence.
"Donna Summer is not only one of the defining voices and performers of the 20th century; she is one of the great songwriters of all time who changed the course of music," Williams said. "She wrote timeless and transcendent songs that continue to captivate our souls and imaginations, inspiring the world to dance and, above all, feel love."
The ceremony was attended by Summer's husband, Bruce Sudano, daughters Brooklyn Sudano and Amanda Sudano Ramirez, close friends and family, and members of the Songwriters Hall of Fame's West Coast events committee.
In a message shared with the organization, Sudano said the honor carried deep personal meaning.
"With all the accolades that she received over her career, being respected as a songwriter was always the thing that she felt was overlooked," he said. "So for her to be accepted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, I know that she's very happy ... somewhere."
Summer died in 2012 at age 63 following a 10-month battle with lung cancer.
While her voice became synonymous with disco's golden era, she was also the architect behind many of its most indelible anthems. She wrote or co-wrote a catalog of global hits including "Love to Love You Baby," "I Feel Love," "Bad Girls," "Dim All the Lights," "On the Radio," "She Works Hard for the Money," "Heaven Knows," "Spring Affair" and "This Time I Know It's for Real."
Summer's groundbreaking fusion of R&B, soul, pop, funk, rock and electronic music propelled underground dance sounds from European clubs to the top of radio charts worldwide. With an estimated 150 million records sold worldwide, Summer earned five Grammy Awards and became the first artist to win Best Dance Recording. She was also the first female artist to receive Grammys across four distinct genres: R&B, dance, rock and gospel. Over nearly four decades, she charted 33 Top 10 hits on Billboard's dance charts and scored four No. 1 singles on the Hot 100 in a single 12-month period.
Donna Summer’s family and Songwriters Hall of Fame committee members gather at her posthumous induction ceremony in West Hollywood on Dec. 15, 2025.
Songwriting's next era
Summer's induction lands as the Songwriters Hall of Fame balances honoring legends with recognizing hitmakers still very much in their moment.
That conversation is especially visible this year with the nominations including Taylor Swift, LL Cool J, Sarah McLachlan, David Byrne, Pink, Kenny Loggins and members of KISS.
At 35, Swift is the youngest songwriter ever nominated, qualifying just over the 20-year eligibility threshold set by the organization. Her debut single, "Tim McGraw," was released in 2006, when she was just 15.
Three songwriters from each category — performing and non-performing — will be inducted at a ceremony in New York City in June.

Steven Spielberg Returns to UFO Storytelling with Teaser for ‘Disclosure Day’

WATCH:
“Disclosure Day” follows Spielberg’s 2022 semi-autobiographical drama “The Fabelmans.” The new project places him back in the genre that helped define his career. Over decades, Spielberg shaped cinematic sci‑fi with films such as “Close Encounters of the Third Kind,” “E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial,” and “War of the Worlds.”
Despite his reputation for alien-centric storytelling, Spielberg has consistently said his fascination is not rooted in personal experience. During an appearance on “The Late Show” in 2023, he explained, “I’ve never seen a UFO. I wish I had! I’ve never seen anything I can’t explain. But I believe certain people who have seen things that they can’t explain. I think what has been coming up recently is fascinating, absolutely fascinating.”
Spielberg also addressed government secrecy and the broader question of life beyond Earth. “I don’t believe we’re alone in the universe. I think it’s mathematically impossible that we are the only intelligent species in the cosmos,” he said, before speculating whether unexplained sightings could even involve future humans observing their past.
With “Disclosure Day,” Spielberg once again blends scientific curiosity, fear, and wonder, setting the stage for a summer release that revisits questions he has explored for decades.

House GOP Blocks Vote on ObamaCare Subsidies as Health Insurance Costs Head Up

Here we go again. House Republicans have shut down an effort to vote on extending enhanced ObamaCare subsidies, even as millions of Americans are staring down higher health insurance bills in the near future.
Speaker Mike Johnson made it clear that the House will not allow an amendment vote that would extend the expanded Affordable Care Act subsidies set to expire at the end of the year. Those subsidies have helped keep monthly premiums lower for people who buy their insurance through the ACA marketplace, especially working families and middle-class households.
The push to extend them wasn’t coming from Democrats alone. A group of moderate Republicans had been pressing leadership to allow a vote, arguing that letting the subsidies expire would lead to noticeable premium increases and real financial strain for their constituents. Instead, leadership chose to block the amendment entirely, keeping it off the House floor.
The timing is what’s raising eyebrows. If Congress does nothing, the enhanced subsidies disappear after December 31. That means many people could see their monthly health insurance payments jump starting next year, with some facing hundreds or even thousands of dollars more in annual costs. Inside the House GOP, the decision has exposed a growing divide. Leadership is focused on advancing its own health care agenda, which does not include extending the ObamaCare subsidies. Moderates, especially those in competitive districts, see the looming premium hikes as a political and personal problem they will have to explain back home.
Some lawmakers are now openly discussing rare procedural moves to force a vote without leadership approval, signaling just how tense this fight has become. While nothing is guaranteed, the standoff highlights how health care remains one of the most polarizing issues in Congress, even when the stakes are basic affordability.
For everyday people, the debate isn’t abstract. It’s about whether health insurance stays within reach or becomes another bill that quietly jumps while Washington argues. And with the deadline approaching fast, the question isn’t just whether premiums will go up, but who will be left holding the bag when they do.

Uber Just Dropped YOUBER 2025
Uber is putting its users in the spotlight with the launch of YOUBER 2025, a personalized year-end recap that pulls back the curtain on how riders and eaters relied on the app all year long.
From everyday commutes to late-night food runs, the feature transforms routine activity into a detailed snapshot of how people actually lived in 2025. The rollout places Uber squarely in the growing trend of annual digital recaps, but this version focuses on real-world behavior rather than screen time.
As described by a company spokesperson, the experience centers on the “rides, routes, cravings, detours and late-night saves that defined your 2025,” giving users a data-driven look at the moments that kept them moving and fed.
Launched on Monday, users can now access their recap by selecting the YOUBER 2025 banner located at the top of the Uber app. Once opened, the feature delivers a sequence of bold, share-ready cards that walk users through their activity across both Uber and Uber Eats.
The breakdown includes a range of personal stats such as overall rider rating, total trips completed, number of destinations visited, preferred ride upgrades, total restaurants ordered from, and the food items and categories that dominated their orders.
The result is a clear picture of habits that may feel familiar or slightly exposed depending on how often the app came through. YOUBER 2025 also assigns every user a custom personality type drawn from a pool of 14 options based on usage patterns.
Labels include Planning Prodigy for users who stay organized, Do Gooder for those with top-tier ratings, Rise and Shiner for early morning riders, and The Big Deal for users who consistently chase deals and savings.
Each recap is designed for easy sharing, allowing users to post their highlights on social media and compare results with friends and family.
