#MAGFAB:  Models Kris Krystal, Ploy Chobsawang, Rachel Agbonze and more are in the Miu Miu Prelude Collection 2016
Models Kris Krystal, Ploy Chobsawang, Rachel Agbonze and more are styled by Lotta Volkova in the Miu Miu [IG] Prelude Collection 2016 campaign. Danish photographer Julie Greve [IG] shoots the campaign, confirming her self-descriptor as an artist whose work explores ideas of coming of age and female identity.
Greve’s work looks for and reveals complex emotion in her subjects — and we are looking at that deeply personal and challenging aspect of the lives of Miu Miu’s young women — no matter how affluent is their family heritage.
There’s a utilitarian vibe in the Prelude Collection, Miu Miu’s first release of the year, one that draws on work and outerwear, juxtaposing fashion with function — with a result Miu Miu calls ‘irreverent elegance’. There’s a practicality to this vision of lived-in luxury that sits well with the brand’s brainiac young women positioning.

#RHOC: High-Profile Attorney Drops Out of RHOC Casting After Katie Ginella Was Fired.
The Real Housewives of Orange County will not bring back Katie Ginella, a development drawing attention because she was the series’ first Asian American cast member and because it affects Season 20 casting. Attorney Kathleen Martinez said she dropped out of RHOC Season 20 casting after stating her friend Katie Ginella was fired. In follow-up posts about RHOC, Martinez used “#bosslady,” shared a dancing clip with Ginella, and wrote that if Katie was not wanted, she would not join. In comments about cast politics, Martinez referenced ICE and mentioned Tamra. With Martinez out, Ginella said Emily Simpson will represent attorneys in Season 20.

#MusicNews:Ella May Announces Sophomore Album ‘Good Intentions’

South-East London native Ego Ella May will release her second album, Good Intentions, March 20 via Believe UK.
The 12-track set was produced by May, alongside Alfa Mist, Beat Butcha, LVTHER, Melo-Zed, TAVE, Tom Excell and Wu-Lu, among others. The album is said to explore themes of community, liberation, vulnerability, and “the complicated beauty of everyday human experience.”

Regarding her first album in six years, May said, “Ever the intentional woman, I’ve chosen Spring Equinox as the release date to symbolise a natural reset, & renewal- that fresh energy after the reflections of winter when life naturally starts to move again.”

She continued, “This album marks a new beginning for me: creating & releasing from integrity rather than urgency. It’s called ‘Good Intentions’ because that’s how it was made! With a pure heart – no rushing, no proving.. just honest expression & trust in the timing.”
Beyond May’s introspection and conversations with her inner circle, Good Intentions is also informed by the authors she loves — namely, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Patti Smith, Chinua Achebe, Ayọ̀bámi Adébáyọ̀, and Joan Didion.

Good Intentions includes the early singles “What We Do” and the Marvin Gaye-inspired “We’re Not Free.” Along with her album announcement, has shared the latest single, “What You Waiting For.” The jazz-flavored tune warmly embraces living in the present.

“‘What You Waiting For’ is one of my favourite songs to play live, this song is so fun! But it holds a deeper meaning about living life NOW, and about presence. Quite simply, don’t wait! The time is now,” said May. “I wrote it about this album as a whole, and trying to conjure up more of a belief in myself and my gifts, and I kept saying to myself, ‘If not now, when?’ It’s the anthem I play when I need a confidence boost!”

Good Intentions will follow 2020’s Honey For Wounds.

#HipHopNews: A$AP Rocky Announces Massive ‘Don’t Be Dumb’ World Tour
A$AP Rocky’s 2026 world tour supporting Don’t Be Dumb spans 42 dates across North America and Europe.
The “Don’t Be Dumb On Tour” highlights Rocky’s evolution as a visual artist and fashion icon.
Tickets go on sale next Tuesday (Jan. 27), with stops in major cities like Chicago, Toronto, Paris and more.

A$AP Rocky is taking Don’t Be Dumb straight from release week into arena mode. On Tuesday (Jan. 20), the Harlem rapper announced his 2026 “Don’t Be Dumb On Tour,” which consists of 42 dates across North America and Europe.

The trek opens this spring at Chicago’s United Center and runs through July, closing the North American leg at Newark’s Prudential Center. In between, Rocky is slated to hit major rooms in Toronto, Boston, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Atlanta, Miami, Houston, Los Angeles, Seattle and more, plus a festival stop at New York’s Governors Ball on June 7. The overseas leg begins on Aug. 25 in Brussels and wraps on Sept. 30 at Paris’ Accor Arena.

The announcement arrives days after Don’t Be Dumb landed on streaming platforms last Friday (Jan. 16). Its release officially ended a long gap since 2018’s TESTING. The 17-track set arrived after a notable string of delays and several loose drops across mediums, including “RIOT (Rowdy Pipe’n),” “Tailor Swif,” “HIGHJACK” and the J. Cole-assisted “Ruby Rosary.” The packaging is just as striking as the music: Rocky tapped the legendary Tim Burton for the album’s cover art, which included designs of Rocky’s alter egos. According to Billboard, the colorful body of work managed to sell 130,000 units ahead of its arrival on DSPs.

Rocky’s rollout leaned hard into visuals. As part of the Don’t Be Dumb campaign, he blessed the masses with a video game-inspired clip for “HELICOPTER.” Another for the genre-bending “PUNK ROCKY” clip pulled in heavyweights like Winona Ryder, Thundercat and film composer Danny Elfman. Following his musical guest appearance on “Saturday Night Live,” he and Burton starred in a cinematic dual video for “AIR FORCE (BLACK DEMARCO)” and “WHISKEY (RELEASE ME).”

Tickets for the “Don’t Be Dumb On Tour” goes on sale next Tuesday (Jan. 27). Fans can head over to the official website for additional information.

#NewCoupleAlert: Are Al B. Sure! and Luenell?

Al B. Sure! and comedian Luenell set the internet buzzing over the weekend when a string of affectionate social posts and playful public moments sparked romance rumors. When Luenell posted a carousel of them loving up on one another with the caption, “Yup it’s Love. @officialalbsure and ya Gurl. If you Know, you know. 🥰 Finally out of the shadows. 2026, let’s GO baby😚,” Al commented, “HNY Beloveds 🎉 Don’t call us A.i., call us A.L. “Al B. & Luenell” ❤️ My #BooBooKitty 🐈‍⬛ the #BadGirlofComedy & the #LightSkinGeneral Stay Tuned”

Fans and followers quickly scrolled both Al and Luenell’s socials, trying to parse whether the pair were courting, trolling, or simply enjoying a flirtatious, public friendship. The posts — which showcased plainly cozy behavior and on-camera canoodling — left many online observers leaning into speculation instead of answers.
The chemistry seemed natural to some viewers and staged to others. Commenters raised the possibility that this could be a coordinated PR move or a joke meant to spark conversation. One famous commenter said, “@officialalbsure. Put a ring on it 😂 💍 @luenell Congratulations 💍 🌹 awaiting the wedding invitation ❤️.” While another doubted the post and said, “The AI video got me not taking her serious 😂 is u playing girllllll.”

Al B. Sure! rose to fame in the late ’80s and ’90s as an R&B heartthrob and has a long, public romantic history that often draws attention. Luenell, a beloved stand-up comedian, brought her trademark humor and unapologetic energy to the moment. Whether this becomes a long-term love affair or a playful moment, fans are quite literally gagged at the relationship.

Trump DOJ say Don Lemon is 'on notice' following storming MN church
Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights at the Department of Justice, Harmeet Dhillon put former CNN host Don Lemon on notice after he stormed a church in Minnesota with protesters.
Newsmax host Todd Starnes posted that Lemon defended storming of a church service over the weekend alongside anti-Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) protesters.

“This is what the First Amendment is about, the freedom to protest,” Lemon told viewers,” Starnes wrote on X. “I’m sure people here don’t like it, but protests are not comfortable.”
“Does that make Don Lemon's private residence fair game for protesters, too?” Starnes’ post continued. “Are they allowed to storm in his house all in the name of the First Amendment?”

Dhillon quote tweeted Starnes on X and said that Lemon was “on notice.”
“A house of worship is not a public forum for your protest!” she wrote. “It is a space protected from exactly such acts by federal criminal and civil laws! Nor does the First Amendment protect your pseudo journalism of disrupting a prayer service. You are on notice!”

On Sunday, anti-ICE protesters stormed Cities Church in Minnesota and accused the pastor of being the acting ICE field office director in the state.

"Queer Eye" star Karamo Brown skips "CBS Mornings" cast interview "to focus on and to protect" his mental health

"Queer Eye" star Karamo Brown was notably absent from Tuesday's "CBS Mornings" live interview with the full cast as they promoted the release of the series' 10th and final season, citing a need to prioritize his mental health.
Roughly an hour before the interview, Brown's assistant informed "CBS Mornings" that the cast member wouldn't be joining the on-set interview due to mental health concerns and, in part, because he was worried about being bullied.

In a statement released to "CBS Mornings" explaining his absence, Brown said, "Thank you to everyone around the world for welcoming me into their homes for 10 seasons. Season 10 is amazing and I know you will fall in love with the deserving people we helped."
It continued, "Though the show is ending, I hope everyone remembers the main theme I have tried to teach them over the past decade, which is to focus on and to protect their mental health/peace from people or a world who seek to destroy it; which is why I can't be there today. Thank you to the crew for being the best in business and the executives for believing in me. 10 Seasons, I'm truly humbled."

Brown is part of the Fab Five, which includes Tan France, Jonathan Van Ness, Antoni Porowski and Jeremiah Brent, who joined the cast on season nine of the show. Brent replaced interior designer Bobby Berk, who left the show after eight seasons.

"Queer Eye" cast addresses Brown's absence
Porowski said "surprise is a fair understatement," referring to Brown's absence after listening to "CBS Mornings" co-host Gayle King read his statement.
"I will say our 'Queer Eye' family, we have been doing this for almost a decade, which is pretty wild to believe, and families are complicated. We're definitely not excluded from that," Porowski said.

Van Ness said he's honored to have learned from Brown during their time together on the show.
"He has taught people to center what they need and I'm actually really proud of him. Center what you need. Do the things you need to take care of you. I'd be lying if I didn't feel like that sometimes," Van Ness said. "And so, I think it's really beautiful, and I think we do need to center what is best for us sometimes and my hat off to him for doing that today."

Brent called his experience with the group transformative, saying, "I have felt safe and supported by the people up here. I have loved every second of this thing and I'm so excited that we get to do this and share this next season because the show really is just about highlighting the best of humanity."

In the very first episode of the series, France said they were working toward acceptance, but as the show comes to a close, he revealed he isn't sure that's happened yet.
"I would love to believe that we have come around to that, but as we've seen, especially over the last year or so, that hasn't been the case here in particular in the U.S. I pray we will continue to fight for acceptance but it is not just ours," France said. "It is our entire nation's responsibility at this point to fight for those who can't fight for themselves."

But the cast members agreed the show has had a massive impact on their lives.
"It has really given me hope for what this country has been and can be again," France said. "It helps me to understand the way our country operates through the heroes that we've helped."

"It's just opened my eyes to so much," Van Ness added, reflecting on his time on the series. "At the end of the day people want to be safe. They want to be loved and accepted by their family. Sometimes that's not possible so they have a chosen family around them. I think we are so much more similar than we are different."
For Porowski, "Queer Eye" has changed him as a person as he looks at future projects.

"I think it has for all us in how we want to, the type of stories that we want to tell and even more importantly, other people, hopefully it inspires them to kind of push towards embracing diversity," he said.

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ Kids No Longer Have Unlimited Access To Family Wealth
Things are officially different in the world of Sean “Diddy” Combs, and the changes are reaching everyone connected to him.
As Combs continues serving his 50-month sentence at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey for two Mann Act violations, his finances are no longer moving the way they used to. According to multiple reports, access to his money is now tightly controlled, and that reality is hitting his kids, his staff, and even his legal team.
Sources say Diddy’s children are no longer living in a world of unlimited access. Instead, they now operate on approved budgets. If they need anything outside those limits, requests go through Tri Star Sports & Entertainment, the firm overseeing his assets. And approval is not guaranteed.

One example making the rounds involved a family dinner in New York City the night before Diddy’s sentencing. When relatives asked Tri Star to cover the bill, the request was initially denied. The money was eventually reimbursed, but only after someone else paid upfront. That alone says a lot about how tight things have become.
The financial squeeze reportedly extends to employees and legal teams. Sources told TMZ that some staff members and attorneys have experienced delays in getting paid, leading to growing frustration. At least one staffer is said to have walked away altogether due to the holdup.

Diddy’s spokesperson, Juda Engelmayer, has denied that there are any payment disruptions, pushing back on the narrative that things are strained. Still, the number of similar accounts paints a picture of a man whose fortune may be massive on paper but tightly restricted in practice.
Right now, Diddy is not calling the shots financially. His money is being managed with preservation in mind, not lifestyle. Every expense is likely being scrutinized. That applies whether you are a family member – kids too.
Unless something changes legally, Diddy is expected to remain behind bars until 2029. Until then, the free-flowing days appear to be over, replaced by budgets, approvals, and hard no’s.

What do you think about this new reality for Diddy and his circle?

Actress & Model Ruby Rose Exposes Nicki Minaj For Allegedly Mistreating Tour Staff, Claims Rapper Would Randomly Fire People When Upset

Celebrities are beginning to speak out against #NickiMinaj. On Monday (Jan. 19), the rapper made headlines after using a homophobic slur while calling out journalist #DonLemon, criticizing him for covering a protest at a church where the pastor is believed to be an ICE employee.
On Threads, model and Orange Is the New Black actress #RubyRose came to Don’s defense. Responding to a screenshot of Nicki’s rant, Ruby shared her own experience working with the Super Bass rapper during 2012, when she served as a supporting act on the Pink Friday Reloaded tour.

According to Ruby, tour staff lived in constant fear of being fired without warning. “Her ego is so outsized she HAD to fire someone after every show. …she fired the security for not seamlessly carrying her from the stage – because she went to jump off several bars early,” Ruby claimed. She also recalled a night when Nicki allegedly threatened to fire everyone after her real age was leaked in birthday messages. While Ruby said she’s waiting for Nicki’s next outburst to reveal more, she told Don, “For months I’d held my Nicki stories back, barely. But in response to what she said about you, I posted some today. I adore you and your response.”

Ruby wasn’t alone in speaking out. Community star #YvetteNicoleBrown also shared claims of a negative working experience. “I know someone who worked on the wardrobe team that did a fitting at her house. She wouldn’t allow anyone to use the bathroom. Not even the guest bathroom near the front door,” Yvette wrote, “Just decided that they didn’t deserve to relieve themselves on her sacred premises. #Trash,” she added. Nicki has not responded to the allegations.

R.I.P. Dr. Gladys West, The Historic mathematician whom created the GPS has died at 95!

Dr. Gladys West, the mathematician who developed the Global Positioning System (GPS) has died age 95...

From Engadget
Pioneering mathematician Dr. Gladys West has passed away at the age of 95. Her name may not be familiar to you, but her contributions certainly are; West's work laid the foundation for the global positioning system. As you likely know from experience, GPS is now an essential component of industries ranging from aviation and emergency response, as well as ensuring that you get to that dinner date or job interview on time.

West was born in 1930 in Virginia. Despite the oppression of Jim Crow laws in the south, she was able to pursue higher education at Virginia State College (now named Virginia State University), obtaining bachelor's and master's degrees in mathematics. In 1956, West was hired at what is now called the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Dahlgren, VA. Her focus during the 1970s and 1980s was creating accurate models of the Earth's shape based on satellite data, a complex task requiring the type of mathematical gymnastics that would make the average person dizzy. Those models later became the backbone for GPS. West worked at the Dahlgren center for 42 years, retiring in 1998.

Netflix Announces Live Voting for Select Titles
Netflix has launched a new feature that will enable viewers to interact with live content while they’re watching.
Starting on Jan. 20, viewers can now pick an option from a multiple-choice menu and rate someone’s performance on a scale of five stars. To cast a vote, anyone can use the Netflix app or a TV remote.

The feature has been unveiled as part of Netflix’s new show, Star Search, which is a reboot of the series that “launched stars like Dave Chappelle, Christina Aguilera, and Justin Timberlake,” according to the Netflix website. Anthony Anderson will host the show that’ll feature “a broader mix of performers (from musicians and dancers to comedians, juniors, and variety acts).”

According to Netflix, the voting mechanism will work globally and will allow the platform to count votes in real time. Viewers will have a limited time to vote, and once that time is over, additional votes won’t matter. So in order to vote while watching the show, you have to watch it live and do it — not binge later.
Netflix’s CTO, Elizabeth Stone, revealed at TechCrunch Disrupt 2025 that the company would start implementing live voting after it started testing it during the platform’s show Dinner Time Live With David Chang in August.

“If you’re sitting at home watching Star Search on your TV, you’ll be able to either on the TV or your mobile phone actually put in a vote that advances or doesn’t advance some of the contestants on the show,” Stone said at the time. “So it’s just a very early starting example of the ways that we think content can be more interactive over time, across devices, between TV and mobile, where a member who subscribes to Netflix can actually feel like they’re part of the story, influence the storyline, and feel immersed in that.”
The voting will differ depending on the title being watched, according to the brand's website. "The weighting of the audience vote may vary for each show that includes real-time voting. Tune in live to understand the rules for a particular show,” it reads.

Kim Petras Calls Out Label for Allegedly Withholding Her Long-Awaited 'Detour' Album

Kim Petras has shared an update on her long-awaited third album, Detour. Unfortunately, fans’ guesses are just as good as hers as to when they’ll finally get to hear it.
On Tuesday, January 20, the “Coconuts” hitmaker took to X (formerly Twitter) to call out her label for allegedly withholding her music from release.
“My album has been done for 6 months but my record label has refused to give me a release date or pay my collaborator’s [sic] for the work they’ve done,” Petras wrote in the first of a series of posts.

She continued, noting that the lead single for Detour is ready to go, along with a music video. “Oh ya I also filmed and self funded a music video over 2 months ago for my next single that they also wouldn’t give me a release date for,” Petras said. She called the clip the “Best MV i’ve ever done” and revealed that fans would see her in “9 looks 6 setups 13 pairs of shoes…”

Petras signed to Republic Records in 2021, after releasing a series of mixtapes and EPs through independent labels BunHead and AWAL. Through Republic, she released the buzzy Slut Pop EP in 2022, and her major label debut album Feed the Beast the following year. That same year, she released Problematique, which was intended to be her proper debut album, but was temporarily shelved after several tracks and demos leaked to the internet.

Elsewhere in the series of posts on Tuesday, Petras requested to be released from the contractual obligations of her label.
“I'm tired of having no control over my own life or career. I want to continue to self fund and self curate my own music.
Throughout the course of her music career — even during her indie era — Petras has garnered a large fan base within the LGBTQ+ plus community. Back in 2023, she won two Grammys alongside Sam Smith for their chart-topping collaboration “Unholy.”

“I won a grammy 2 years ago [sic]…….. the music is TEA,” Petras said. “Still no support. If it’s not a tiktok trend or 80s revival queerbaiting s**t these labels have no interest in supporting.”
Despite her evident frustration toward her label, she expressed gratitude for her fans and shared her intentions to release Detour eventually.

“My fans have waited long enough. I love u guys,” she said. “I’m dropping Detour regardless.”
Petras’ most recent release came in the form of the pop-driven single “I Like Ur Look” back in October 2025. In November 2025, she held a listening party for Detour at the Hotel Plaza Athenee in Paris. At the time of writing, there is no set release date for Detour.

YouTube Expands Free ‘Sesame Street’ Library
*Fans of “Sesame Street” have a new destination to explore, as YouTube has rolled out its most expansive free offering of the beloved series to date. Through a partnership with Sesame Workshop, the platform now hosts more than 100 complete episodes available at no cost, Variety reports.

For the first time, full-length episodes from past seasons can be streamed on both YouTube and the YouTube Kids app. The collection spans multiple eras of the long-running show and includes both newer episodes and historic installments that have shaped children’s television. Many of these entries had not previously been available for free streaming.
Among the newly accessible episodes are some of the show’s most recognized milestones. These include the 1969 debut episode “Welcome to Sesame Street,” the emotionally impactful “Goodbye Mr. Hooper,” and “Snuffy Is Revealed,” which resolved a long-running storyline involving Big Bird’s friend. Other highlights feature Fred Rogers in “Mr. Rogers Visits” and the fan-favorite episode “Maria & Luis Get Engaged.”

While YouTube now holds the largest free digital library of the series, it is not the only platform carrying “Sesame Street.” Netflix currently streams new episodes globally through its agreement with Sesame Workshop, while PBS stations and PBS Kids platforms offer same-day access in the U.S. HBO Max also continues to make a substantial catalog available to subscribers.

“Our Street just got a little longer,” Sesame Street tweeted Thursday. “@YouTube now has the largest digital library of Sesame Street content! For the first time ever, more than 100 full episodes of Sesame Street are available for free on YouTube. Watch everything from beloved, iconic episodes to recent season adventures across the Sesame Street and Sesame Street Classics channels. Whether you’re an old friend or a brand-new pal, we’re so excited to welcome you to our neighborhood on YouTube.”

‘Mini-Sphere’ planned for National Harbor in Maryland

Maryland Gov. Wes Moore’s office said Sunday that a “mini-Sphere” — a little brother to the famous Sphere in Las Vegas — is planned for National Harbor in Oxon Hill.
Sphere Entertainment Co. is working with Maryland, Prince George’s County and Peterson Companies. This venue would be the second in the U.S., after the Las Vegas venue which opened in 2023.

The proposed venue would be the first smaller-scale Sphere with capacity of 6,000 seats, and feature an Exosphere — the exterior LED display of Sphere that showcases both artistic and branded content, according to a release.
The venue would also include the world’s highest-resolution LED screen, as well as all of Sphere Entertainment’s other technologies such as immersive sound and 4D effects.

“Our focus has always been on creating a global network of Spheres across forward-looking cities,” James L. Dolan, executive chairman and chief executive officer of Sphere Entertainment said.
The state of Maryland and Sphere Entertainment said Sunday that they're planning a 'mini-Sphere' for National Harbor. (Courtesy Sphere Entertainment)

“Sphere is a new experiential medium. With a commitment to bringing innovative opportunities to residents and visitors, Gov. Moore, County Executive Braveboy, the State of Maryland, and Prince George’s County recognize the potential for a Sphere at National Harbor to elevate and advance immersive experiences across the area.”
This project would use a combination of public and private funding, totaling about $200 million. The release said Sphere would also support nearly 2,500 jobs during the construction phase, and 4,750 jobs once the venue opens, as well as generate millions in additional revenue for the county and state.

The economic impact of Sphere National Harbor is expected to be greater than $1 billion annually.
“Maryland has a long history of providing world-class entertainment and we could not be more excited to work with Sphere Entertainment to bring this cutting-edge project to life,” Gov. Wes Moore said in a release.

“This will be one of the largest economic development projects in Prince George’s County history — proving once again our state is the best place in the country to bring dreams to life. We’re excited for what this means for our people, and how it will showcase the best of what Maryland has to offer to everyone who visits.”

The proposed venue is still being negotiated on and awaiting approvals from Sphere, Prince George’s County and the state of Maryland.
A completion date has not yet been announced.
