#RHOA: Kim Zolciak’s Bravo Return Confirmed
She’s coming home! Kim Zolciak is heading back to Bravo, but please don’t get your hopes up for a Don’t Be Tardy reboot.
The former Real Housewives of Atlanta star will make a guest appearance on Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th. She’ll be right alongside her old pal NeNe Leakes. Nature is healing.

Over the weekend, the main cast of RHUGT dropped into Georgia to celebrate all things RHOA. We already knew that NeNe would be hosting an event for the girls. What we didn’t know was just how many icons would be in the building.
NeNe shared a few pictures from the event, which is rumored to be another Alter Ego party, à la RHOA Season 2. NeNe showed up with a huge golden headdress, and she snapped pictures alongside Kim, her on-again, off-again frenemy. They’re back together and looking better than ever.

Although Kim made a brief cameo on RHOA Season 15, the last time we really saw her in the mix was in Season 10 when she was a part-time cast member. Since then, she’s filed for divorce, faced foreclosure, and been wrapped up in several debt-related lawsuits. However, it looks like she was all smiles with NeNe at the RHUGT event.

Kim wasn’t the only surprising face at this event. Several Real Housewives of Potomac cast members were in attendance, including Candiace Dillard Bassett, who seemingly reunited with Gizelle Bryant and Ashley Darby. Yes, you read that correctly.
The event was part of the upcoming Real Housewives Ultimate Road Trip, which is sending a group of Housewives across the coast to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the franchise. Kim and NeNe are among 60 Housewives popping up for cameos throughout the trip. It’s already shaping up to be must-see television.

#MusicNews: Charlie Wilson & Mary J. Blige To Headline The 2026 Cincinnati Music Festival

Winter has us in its clutches right now, but we have our eyes on the prize of warmer days and music festival season. Looking ahead to summer, the 2026 Cincinnati Music Festival needs to be on every R&B, soul and hip-hop head’s radar for July. Now in its 64th year, the annual event in Cincinnati, Ohio is routinely a star-studded good time. This year will continue the tradition with headliners Charlie Wilson and Mary J. Blige booked and more hit-making artists on board.

Once again sponsored by P&G and returning to Paycor Stadium, the 2026 Cincinnati Music Festival is set for Thursday, July 23rd through Saturday, July 25th. The Thursday night kickoff is all about hip-hop with a special tribute performance scheduled. This night’s lineup hasn’t been announced yet, but expect several golden era rappers to rock the mic right. Thursday’s show will take place at the brand-new Club Lounge at Paycor.

Friday night’s festivities will be headlined by the living legend Charlie Wilson, who lit stages across North America up last year on Uncle Charlie’s R&B Cookout Tour. Leading up to his flashy finish will be performances by R&B singer Tyrese, songstress Ledisi, breakout southern soul singer 803 Fresh and special guest Nelly.

After she completes her first Las Vegas residency in early July, the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul Mary J. Blige will headline the festival on Saturday night and end it with a bang and a Mary Bop. Before she sets it off with her dancerie, her performance will be preceded by R&B dude Trey Songz, ’90s R&B stunners SWV, iconic rapper Doug E. Fresh and classic funk band Heatwave.- Advertisement -

Uncle Charlie and MJB are both Cincinnati Music Festival veterans. Wilson first performed there as a member of the Gap Band in 1980, and Blige made her debut in 1998. They’ve returned numerous times over the years — most recently in 2022 for Unc and 2019 for Mary — but this is the first time that they’ll be co-headliners, and it’s going to be an unforgettable experience.
The 2026 Cincinnati Music Festival sounds like our kind of carrying on, and if it sounds like yours, too, it’s time to make plans. Tickets are on sale now, and good seats are still available, but they’ll likely get snatched up as the festival gets closer. Visit the Cincinnati Music Festival website to purchase tickets ASAP and for additional information.

#HipHopNews: Megan Thee Stallion Awarding $5,000 Grants To “Academic Hotties”
Toyota is partnering with Megan Thee Stallion to support education through $5,000 grants.
The Best In Class Award Grant is powered by Megan’s Pete & Thomas Foundation and focuses on education equity.
Applications are open until Feb. 11, with eligibility based on GPA, teaching experience and financial need.

If you follow Megan Thee Stallion, you already know she’s all about beauty and brains. On Saturday (Jan. 24), the Houston rapper put out a call for all the “academic hotties” to apply for a grant her nonprofit is sponsoring.

“We’re looking for the Best In Class academic hottie. Is that you?” reads the call to action she shared on her Instagram. Presented by Meg’s Pete & Thomas Foundation and sponsored by Toyota, the Best In Class Award Grant will bless five students and five teachers with $5,000 to “pursue their educational and professional goals.”

For college students, the requirements include being currently enrolled in a two or four-year college and a GPA of at least a B- (2.7). For educators, five years of experience teaching at the K-12 level at a public school is necessary. All applicants must also demonstrate financial need.

Education and philanthropy are passions that Megan has always actively participated in and practiced. In December 2021, she graduated from Texas Southern University with a Bachelor of Science in Health Administration. She promised her late mother that she would complete her college education and earn her degree.

The Pete & Thomas Foundation was created by Megan in honor of her mother, Holly Thomas, and father, Joseph Pete III. The nonprofit held its inaugural gala in July 2025 in New York City. It reportedly raised over $1.2 million for its mission to support education, housing and wellness in underserved communities.

“Whether you’re in your locked-in era or leading the next generation in the classroom, we see you and want to support your journey!” reads part of the announcement.

After applications are reviewed by a selection committee, the fortunate students and teachers will be notified about their grants. More information can be found on the Pete & Thomas Foundation website peteandthomasfoundation.org. The deadline for applying is Feb. 11.

“RHOP” Star Karen Huger Shares How Fellow Inmates Removed Their Extensions To Give Her Braids During DUI Jail Stint
Karen Huger clearly had people looking out for her on the inside.

In a sneak peek of the Real Housewives of Potomac season finale, Karen is seen reuniting with her family following her release after serving time related to a DUI stemming from a 2024 crash near Oaklyn Drive in Potomac, Maryland. During the emotional homecoming, Karen, wearing braids tucked beneath a silk scarf, revealed that fellow inmates removed their own hair extensions so they could provide her with braiding hair, giving her fresh “jailhouse braids.” “I think it’s so beautiful,” Karen told her impressed loved ones.

Chingy Reveals Why He Almost Stopped Taking Photos With Gay Fans

After being alleged to have been in a relationship with a transgender woman, Chingy nearly stopped taking pictures with members of the LGBTQ community altogether.
The St. Louis rapper discussed the fallout stemming from his 2010 picture with media personality Sidney Starr, who went on to claim that she and Chingy were dating at the time. By 2012, Starr would recant the allegation.

The "Right Thurr" rapper was recently a guest on podcast Willie D Live, where he explained why he almost stopped taking pictures with LGBTQ+ fans.
"Somebody took a picture of me being nice to a fan who came up and was excited to meet me," Chingy said in the clip below, adding, "And they based the two-year relationship line off of that."

"I was going to stop taking picture with homosexual individuals. And nothing against them, but I thought now I thought like that's what they going to do," he continued.
But the rapper would later change his mind, saying that his queer fans didn't "deserve" to catch the misplaced blame. "I ain't going to stop being me because somebody decides to be evil. That's going to come back on them at some point," Chingy said.

In April 2024, the rapper told TMZ that Starr's allegation "hurt" his career and although he forgave the former Love and Hip Hop star, he wanted to avoid being in close contact with her.
"When that happened I lost a lot of stuff based off a lie, which was just, that was the most oddest thing I've ever seen," Chingy told the outlet. "Nah, man, when the individual apologized, and it so-called went away, which it took years to blow away, nah, man. Ain't nothing good happened from that for me."

#HOTorNOT? Teyana Taylor Wears See-Through Lace Schiaparelli At Paris Fashion Week
Teyana Taylor bared it all in a lace Schiaparelli ensemble during the brand's haute couture show at Paris Fashion Week.
On Monday (January 26), the One Battle After Another star attended the Schiaparelli fashion show at Petit Palais, where, according to Page Six, fellow actresses Demi Moore and Jodie Turner-Smith were also in attendance.

While braless, Taylor's toned physique was covered in a black detailed lace top and matching skirt with a black floor-length tuxedo coat, black high heels and an antique diamond and pearl-encrusted crown.
Taylor paired her crown with a silver and rhinestone brooch, which, according to Vanity Fair, both pieces were recreations of jewelry stolen from Paris' Musée du Louvre last October. Eight people have been arrested in connection with the heist, where more than $100 in crown jewels were stolen.

Taylor, who recently hosted her first episode of Saturday Night Live, has elevated her stardom in television and film in the last year, acting in the aforementioned One Battle and Hulu legal drama All's Fair. This month, the actress and singer landed her first Academy Award nomination in the Best Supporting Actress category and won the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture.
"To my brown sisters and little brown girls watching tonight," Taylor said during her acceptance speech. "Our softness is not a liability. Our depth is not too much. Our light does not need permission to shine. We belong in every room we walk into. Our voices matter, and our dreams deserve space."

Oscar voters said they didn’t vote for Ariana Grande because her relationship with Cynthia Erivo “creeped” them out?
Anonymous Oscar voters didn’t vote for Ariana Grande for an Academy Award nomination because her relationship with Cynthia Erivo “creeped” them out.
The voters found Cynthia’s “constant” protective behavior of Ariana “intense and bizarre.” They criticized the stars for “trying to go viral with their shenanigans.”

They also chose not to vote for Ariana because she seems fragile.
“Think of it this way: We were protecting Ariana from her anxiety — and Cynthia from having to intervene. Again,” one voter said.
A crazed troll ambushed Ariana during the “Wicked: For Good” press tour in Singapore in November. Cynthia instinctively rushed forward to protect her costar.

Cynthia was heavily criticized for stepping in front of security guards to protect Ariana.
The troll was banned from Singapore and deported back to his native Australia.
Ariana campaigned for Best Supporting Actress for her performance as Glinda in “Wicked” For Good” at the Golden Globes and the Oscars.
She earned a Golden Globes nomination, but she was snubbed for an Oscar nomination.

One Oscar voter said they were “turned off completely” by Cynthia and Ariana’s relationship.
“The movie wasn’t that great,” one voter told NewsNation. “The two have amazing on-screen chemistry but spent most of the movie apart.”
The voter added: “I was also just completely turned off by their promotional performances. They creeped a lot of people out and in their rush to feel authentic, came off as cosplaying.”

Maryland hairstylist Jayla A. Cunningham who dragged girl, 15, across salon floor gets sentence

A Maryland hairstylist was sentenced to 5 years in prison, with all but 6 months suspended for dragging a client across the salon floor in a dispute over a $150 payment.
Jayla A. Cunningham, 19, was convicted of second-degree assault in November after she was seen in video footage dragging a 15-year-old client at her salon.

Cunningham claimed the girl tried to leave the salon without paying for her services.
A jury convicted Cunningham of second-degree assault, which carries up to 10 years in prison.
Cunningham pleaded with the judge for mercy and no prison time.

“I really do regret what I did,” Cunningham told Judge Michael Pearson in Prince George’s County Circuit Court before he handed down the sentence. “Can you have faith in me? Can you believe in me that I am trying?”
Cunningham’s lawyer said her client already lost her business and her apartment. She begged the judge for leniency.

Judge Pearson said he couldn’t ignore the abuse he saw in the video. The viral video shows Cunningham dragging the girl across the salon floor by her hoodie.
“The disregard you showed that young lady on that day is unacceptable,” Pearson said. “I trust you’re going to learn from it.”
The judge ordered Cunningham to serve 6 months on home detention. She is not allowed to leave home without the court’s permission.
The teenager’s mother pressed charges against Cunningham after the video went viral.

The mother accused Cunningham of telling her daughter “not to move until I get my money.” She said Cunningham cut the weave out of her daughter’s hair with a pair of scissors.
Cunningham showed no remorse in an interview with FOX 5 DC after the incident.

“She ran – forget tried – she ran without paying me,” Cunningham told FOX 5 DC in March.
“I dragged her by her hood back into the salon until I could get paid or, you know, until the police come or until, you know, she let me take out the [weave], because it’s like she literally ran outside. Like she was about to be gone. I feel like if I didn’t do that, she would have been gone and I would have just never been paid.”

Nicki Minaj Avoids Sale of Her $20 Million Mansion
Nicki Minaj‘s $20 million mansion won’t go on the auction block to pay off her debt to a security guard.
Nicki avoided the sale of her home by paying off the $503,000 judgment.
In 2024, former security guard Thomas Weidenmuller was awarded $503,000 in damages stemming from an assault by Nicki’s husband, Kenneth “Zoo” Petty in 2019.

On October 6, 2025, Weidenmuller asked the court to seize the rapper’s Hidden Hills, Ca. home to be sold on the courthouse steps to satisfy the debt.
A judge gave Nicki until, January 22, to satisfy the debt or lose her house.
Weidenmuller’s lawyer said, “Although it is regrettable that the extraordinary measure of forcing the sale of Minaj’s dwelling is required, that result is entirely the product of her intransigence in not making payment.”

Weidenmuller was a security guard at one of Nicki’s concerts in Germany when Kenny sucker punched him in 2019.
Property records show Nicki purchased the 11-bedroom, 16-bath, 12,000-square ft. home in Hidden Hills for $19.5 million in December 2022.
The home has since been appraised at over $20 million.
Records show Nicki has a $13.2 million mortgage lien on the home and a $722,151 homestead exemption.

Additionally, Nicki reportedly owes the IRS millions in back taxes.
She has a personal net worth of over $200 million.

Judge Blocks Trump Administration from Arresting Don Lemon

A Minnesota judge blocked the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) from charging Don Lemon with violating the FACE Act and the KKK Act.
The DOJ is pursuing charges against the former CNN anchor for rushing into a St. Paul church and disrupting services with other anti-ICE protestors on Sunday.
Lemon and the other protestors rushed into the Cities Church after learning one of the pastors was an ICE agent.

The Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act (FACE Act) protects access to reproductive health clinics.
The KKK Act, also known as the Ku Klux Klan Act, protects groups against others who deprive them of their rights.
“There’s a Constitution and a First Amendment, and freedom of speech and freedom to assemble and protest,” Lemon said.

Lemon now claims he didn’t know about the protestors’ plans until they were already inside the church.
The DOJ wants to charge Lemon under the FACE Act and the KKK Act for violating the rights of others to gather in religious worship.
But a magistrate judge refused to sign an arrest warrant for Lemon based on the 2 federal charges.
Attorney General Pam Bondi flew to Minnesota to personally meet with local prosecutors about charging Lemon.

Activist Chauntyll Louisa Allen was taken into custody and charged by the feds. She is being held in jail without bond.
Local attorney Nekima Levy Armstrong was also charged with civil rights violations in the church riots, along with protester William Kelly.
Armstrong is accused of organizing the church protest.
Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights Harmeet Dhillon warned Lemon on X (Twitter) to “lawyer up”.

Lemon faces decades in prison if convicted of civil rights violations.

Trinity Rodman inks $2 million deal with Washington Spirit, becomes highest-paid woman in soccer

The National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) introduced a new “High Impact Player” rule that allows teams to exceed the salary cap for select stars.
Trinity Rodman’s deal follows a trend of rising salaries in the league, signaling a shift in how women’s soccer values top talent.
Her contract with the Washington Spirit builds on a career that began with a championship and a previous record-setting deal in 2021.

Trinity Rodman is staying in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). On Thursday (Jan. 22), the U.S. women’s national team forward signed a record three-year contract with the Washington Spirit to remain with the club through 2028, ending months of uncertainty after her previous deal expired on Dec. 31.

ESPN pegged the agreement at more than $2 million per year, including bonuses, making Trinity, the daughter of NBA legend Dennis Rodman, the highest-paid player in NWSL history. Her agent, Mike Senkowski of Upper 90 Sports Group, also described it as the highest salary in women’s soccer worldwide.

“It feels amazing, I’m very happy, I’m very blessed,” Trinity said after signing, “I think it’s a monumental and game-changing moment right now.” The announcement was made at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, near where Trinity is training with the United States Women's National Team (USWNT), alongside Spirit owner Michele Kang and president of soccer operations Haley Carter.

Trinity has spent her entire pro career in Washington after being selected No. 2 in the 2021 NWSL Draft out of high school. She helped the Spirit win their first NWSL championship that season and soon after signed a four-year, $1.1 million deal that set the league’s standard at the time. Since then, top contracts have continued to climb; Portland Thorns forward Sophia Wilson recently became the first NWSL player with a $1 million annual contract for 2026.

Trinity also tied the moment to the sport’s next big stage: “And it’s perfect timing with the World Cup happening in the U.S., too,” she said.
Trinity’s signing became controversial because it collided with the NWSL’s salary-cap system. ESPN described the team salary cap as $3.5 million in 2025, with expectations it rises to about $3.7 million in 2026 after revenue share.

Last November, Washington and Trinity reached a backloaded, multi-year structure that annualized to more than $1 million per year, but commissioner Jessica Berman rejected it for violating the “spirit” of league rules. The National Women's Soccer League Players Association (NWSLPA) filed a grievance on Trinity’s behalf, and the league’s board later approved a “High Impact Player” mechanism that allows teams to spend up to $1 million over the cap for qualifying stars. “Trin’s contract has benefited from the implementation of the HIP rule,” Carter said. Still, she stressed the paperwork is locked in: “The reality is a contract is a contract.”
