"A lot of people forget the fact that yes, a divorce happens between two people, but it affects more than just those two people," Riley told Talia Parkinson-Jones during a July 10 visit to Today on Sirius XM. "So it is really hard for me. I had a hard time."
Riley—who learned of her mom and stepdad's Nov. 21 split while filming the second season of the Bravo kids' spinoff costarring Brooks Marks and Gia Giuidice—said the life change has led to a "year of adapting."
"It's tough at times, it's easy at times," Riley continued. "It's confusing. I'm still learning, honestly."
As such, the 23-year-old has turned to Kandi for guidance on how to handle the new normal for their family, which includes siblings Ace, 10, Blaze, 6 and Kaela, 28 (from Todd's previous marriage), as well as Riley's dad Russell "Block" Spencer. "I've learned from my mom that there are a lot of things that she protects in herself and how strong she is, how courageous [she is]," Riley said of the Xscape artist on the radio. "Because all of this stuff I didn't even know. She wants to protect me the most she can. So being able to do that for your children is just a powerful thing."
For her part, Kandi has admitted the breakup—settled in March 2026—was a natural end to their story.
"This is something that has been brewing for a while," Kandi confessed in an Amazon Livestream the same month she and Todd announced their separation. "I’ve been going through it, child. I’ve been going through it. Life has been life-ing me.”
And the RHOA alums are far from the only reality TV couple to call it quits.

The couple married in 2012 and wrote 2017 devotional book The Wait, based on their months-long celibacy before marriage. In 2025, Good married actress Jonathan Majors. That same year, Franklin married fitness influencer Maria Castillo.

“At the time I was so mad at God and I was so confused. And I was like, ‘Well, Lord, you told me to marry this person and you knew that my worst fear was to get a divorce [after] 10 years just like my mom and dad did,’” Good explained.
“And then when it did ultimately happen, I was just like, ‘Lord, I just don't trust you anymore.’ I was like, ‘You bamboozled me,’” Good continued. “I felt lied to. And and it took me that full like just like year of just like constant therapy, constantly crying it out.”
Good added that she refrained from drinking throughout the healing process and came to accept that the relationship was meant to be temporary.
“Everything that I needed to get from that, I got from that. Everything I needed to give to that, I gave to that,” she said. “And we're both better because of it. I think I know I'm a better wife because of that experience.”
Good and Franklin married less than a year after meeting on the set of the 2011 film Jumping the Broom. Franklin filed for divorce in December 2021, citing irreconcilable differences. In a 2021 Instagram post announcing their divorce, Good and Franklin described the split as "the next best chapter in the evolution of our love."
The ex-spouses have been amicable in discussing their past relationship throughout the years. In a February episode of Today with Jenna and Sheinelle, Franklin said he he has "nothing but love" for Good.

“I’ve gained 20 pounds since last year, so everyone can ask me about weight gain, too, if they’d like,” Lizzo said.

“I was in a place where my physical weight was causing joint pain and aches,” Lizzo said.

“I also got to the point where I came off the internet, and all I had was the studio and my thoughts, so I poured myself into the things I could control. My body, my lifestyle, my routines and habits … and this is who I am today,” she said.
Lizzo has consistently rejected speculation surrounding her appearance. She has repeatedly said her choices are rooted in personal health rather than public expectations.
Her latest comments continue that message. Instead of celebrating weight loss or criticizing weight gain, she framed both as ordinary experiences.

“There’s a system of oppression that is constantly putting pressure on, especially women and especially women in the spotlight,” Lizzo said.

"I don't know if Dame is trolling, like, I don't really know what he's doing," she said. But at the end of the day, I feel like it's stories and it's gossip, right? I have an issue with men gossiping about other men. That's just how I feel about it. I have an issue with that."

After three years living abroad alongside husband Matt Pokora and her three children, Christina Milian plans to return stateside.
The actress, 44, who stars in Lifetime's upcoming thriller He Couldn't Let Go, reflected on her time in Paris and shared that her family intends to return to America in a Tuesday, July 7 interview with PEOPLE.
"There's parts of me that misses maybe going to a red carpet at the drop of a dime in Hollywood. But then I'm like, 'Well, I'll be back,' " Milian tells PEOPLE. "And actually in a year from now, we're going to go back to America for a while."
Milian married her husband, French singer and rapper Matt Pokora, in 2020 after being introduced to one another at a restaurant in France three years prior. She shares two children, Kenna, 5, and Isaiah, 6, with Pokora, as well as Violet, 16, with ex The-Dream.
"The kids are going to go to school [in America], which my youngest kids haven't done yet," Milian adds.
The family initially moved to Pokora's native country of France during the summer of 2023. In a November 2024 appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show, Milian explained that their decision to move came after "three or four years" of "commuting back and forth every six months" between Hollywood and Paris.
"We decided to commit to it last year because our kids were going to go to school," she said at the time.
In December 2024, Milian shared with PEOPLE that the nine-hour time difference between Paris and Los Angeles allowed her to invest the daytime in her family while handling her Hollywood career in the evening.
"My daytime, I get to do the family stuff," Milian said. "I work out. I do my self-care thing. I cook dinner. Usually things really kind of get started [for work] around 7 p.m., where it's like phone calls and stuff."
Milian's recent visits to the Cannes Film Festival and the Cannes Lions Festival alongside Pokora, 40, this past spring and summer stoked her excitement to engage with her acting and producing career on an in-person level after returning to the States, she shared.
"I felt the emotion and the passion of people in this industry that I love," Milian says. "I think there's a fuel that's within me when it comes to this industry and when it comes to entertainment and film. And I got to feel that feeling again."
Regardless of their home base, the family's connection to France is sure to remain strong. Milian previously shared with PEOPLE in December 2024 that while she did consider Paris a "landmark place for us to stay most of our lives," she knew that she and Pokora were "never settled" and their "family is everywhere."

Appearing on the Creators Inc. podcast, Ice-T revealed how playing Sgt. Odafin “Fin” Tutuola is a lucrative endeavor. When it comes to his contract, he noted he has “signed two- or three-year deals that included annual raises.”
“I’m Black, and I don’t jump off a boat while it’s floating, even though I can swim,” he joked. “So that boat’s floating.”
When he received his first residual check, he knew he had landed a life-changing gig. After his first year on the show, Ice-T noticed an unexpected payment in his account and called his accountant to find out what it was.
“She said, ‘That’s residuals.’ I’m like, ‘What’s that?’ She goes, ‘Every time the show airs on the network, you get paid something. The show is on right now. This minute, it’s on.’ Ching-ching.”
The legendary rapper even named the show’s unmistakable two-note sound: “Dick Wolf’s cash register.”
“That day, I went from, ‘I don’t know how long I’ll do this show,’ to, ‘I will be on this show till they throw my Black a** off kicking and screaming,’” he continued.

Whoopi Goldberg Explains Why She Doesn’t Like The Term ‘Nepo Baby’
On The View, singer Gracie Abrams acknowledged that she has benefited as a “nepo baby.” She is the daughter of J.J. Abrams and exec Katie McGrath. Goldberg then shared his disdain for the term.
“Let me tell you what being a nepo baby is like,” Goldberg said. “When you say that about somebody, it’s like calling them a DEI hire.
