#RHOA: Real Housewives of Potomac’s Stacey Rusch Addresses Those Chris Samuels Dating Rumors
The Real Housewives of Potomac star Stacey Rusch is clarifying her relationship status, both past and present, with Chris Samuels amid those relentless dating rumors.
“I know Chris socially, and that’s it,” Stacey exclusively told Us Weekly on Friday, October 24. “And I think that you will see, as we go about through the season, how there are many things that Ashley [Darby] will say that are not true.”
She continued, “We can talk about accusations all day long. But again, I know who I am. I know my relationships with my friends, and he’s a friend, and I know him socially.”
Stacey’s fellow castmate Ashley had previously accused her of trying to hook up with Monique Samuel’s ex. Despite what Stacey said is an unfounded rumor, the reality TV star described Chris as a “great guy” and dished on what it was like to film alongside Monique.
“She’s a lot of fun,” Stacey said of her costar. “Yeah, a lot of fun. I didn’t have the opportunity to meet her until we started filming together and, yeah, she’s a good time.”
The dating rumors are just one of many drama-filled moments in the new season of The Real Housewives of Potomac — a rollercoaster of a series that Stacey isn’t afraid to weather despite the non-stop gossip and drama.
“I mean, I am a very pleasant and peaceful woman, but, you know, I’m going to stand up for myself,” she told Us. “So if you want to throw it at me, sometimes, you know, I catch it and throw it right back and you will receive it right in your hand.
Season 10 of the hit Bravo show also added Angel Massie and Tia Glover to the cast — what Stacey told Us was a welcomed addition.
“I love the new girls,” she gushed to Us. “I think that they have beautiful stories to be told. I think they have adorable families, and I think that people will fall in love with them the more they get to meet them.”
Still, there is one familiar face that is absent this season — Karen Huger — and it’s an absence Stacey told Us is palpable.
“You know, we had a great season and a full season. I mean, we’re only four episodes in, and look at everything that has happened, right?” she explained. “But Potomac is not Potomac without Karen Huger. So, I don’t know what her decisions are, but I think it’s safe to say that we would all be happy and welcome her back.”
Karen was absent from the show following her 2024 DUI conviction for her involvement in a solo crash near Oaklyn Drive in the Potomac. She was released from prison in September 2025 after serving a one-year sentence. She was originally sentenced to two years in prison, with one suspended.
When asked if she has spoken with Karen since her release, Stacey told Us, “I have not.”
“I couldn’t say that [I miss her friendship]”, she added. “Listen, you can want the best for someone and respect where you are.”

#MusicNews: Imani Archer Releases ‘Surreal,’ A Song About Losing Someone

Imani Archer, the late neo-soul legend D’Angelo’s only daughter, released “Surreal,” her newest single — a song she says arrived in a “crazy” and tender way — in the midst of her grief.
Like many music fans, Archer is mourning the loss of D’Angelo, who lost his battle with pancreatic cancer on Oct. 14. The 26-year-old singer spoke exclusively with BET.com earlier this month, told us she wrote the track in July and wrestled with whether to release it after her father’s death.
God can be very funny sometimes,” she said. “I wrote this song in July, and I submitted it over a month ago, and it was supposed to come out…it still is. I was thinking of not doing it, but I know he [D’Angelo] wouldn't want me to do that. He would be pissed actually, if I did something like that.”
“It's just so funny though. What I'm singing about is something completely unrelated. It’s about losing someone ironically and it feels very crazy,” Imani said in reflection. She said when she played the track for her mother, they were left speechless by the now deeper connection of the song.
“Don’t wake me up/Not ready to lose you yet/Cuz you’re too good to be true,” Imani sings with her beautifully haunting tone.
She shared the song’s release on her Instagram with throwback images of herself with D’Angelo and in the caption, she said, “He was always so proud of my singing and my music and I want to honor him and put this song out in the world, even though every day feels like my heart has been ripped out of my chest. I hope you’re proud of me up in Heaven Daddy.”

#HipHopNews: Cam’ron Sues J. Cole For Failing To Return The Favor After ‘Ready ’24’ Collaboration
Cam'ron is reportedly suing J. Cole for failing to return the favor after Killa hopped on Cole's "Ready '24" track last year.
On Tuesday (Oct. 28), TMZ broke the news that Cam has filed a lawsuit against the Dreamville head honcho. The Harlem, N.Y., rapper claims he and Cole agreed that if Cam appeared on the Might Delete Later track "Ready '24," Cole would hop on a Cam track or appear on the It Is What It Is podcast.
The song was recorded in 2022, and Cam says that since then, Cole has been claiming he's too busy to return the favor. So, Cam'ron has decided to take it to the courts.
Cam says he hasn't been paid for the collab. He wants a judge to force Cole to make Cam the co-author of the track and compensate him in excess of $500,000.
In addition to Cam appearing on the track, J. Cole's "Ready '24" also samples the popular 2002 Diplomats track "I'm Ready," produced by The Heatmakerz.
J. Cole has been quiet musically since releasing the Grammy-nominated mixtape, Might Delete Later, last April. The project featured guest appearances from Gucci Mane, Central Cee, Ab-Soul, Daylyt, Young Dro and Ari Lennox. Last November, Cole released an in-depth audio series about his life and rap career titled Inevitable. In February, he released the song "Clouds."

Janet Hubert Returns to the World of ‘Bel-Air’ as Caroline Chikezie Joins the Cast for the Final Season

Peacock’s Bel-Air is preparing to take its final bow with a fourth and final season, and the series is bringing in two powerhouse guest stars to help close out the story with depth and legacy. Janet Hubert, best known for originating the role of Aunt Viv on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and Caroline Chikezie (Demascus, Sweet Magnolias, Love Life) are set to make special guest appearances that promise to leave a lasting impact on the Banks family.
Hubert’s casting carries a beautiful full-circle moment for fans. Decades after her groundbreaking performance on the original Fresh Prince, she returns to the world of Bel-Air as a wise woman who crosses paths with Hilary Banks (Coco Jones) and becomes instrumental to the Banks family’s journey. It’s a poetic nod to Hubert’s legacy and to the show’s commitment to honoring its roots while pushing the narrative into new emotional territory.
Chikezie, meanwhile, steps into the role of Dominique Warren, the leader of Geoffrey’s former London gang. Described as a figure who is both formidable and deeply connected to Geoffrey (Jimmy Akingbola), Dominique adds a personal and potentially volatile layer to Geoffrey’s story arc. Their bond, described as sibling-like, hints at revelations from Geoffrey’s past that could test his loyalty to the Banks household and fuel the season’s brewing tension.
In this final chapter, Bel-Air continues its exploration of identity, family, and ambition. Will (Jabari Banks) is balancing the thrill of senior year with the expectations and challenges that have defined his journey from West Philadelphia to Bel-Air. Carlton (Olly Sholotan) faces the repercussions of life-altering choices, while Phil (Adrian Holmes) and Geoffrey find their brotherhood strained by a sudden power shift. Meanwhile, Viv (Cassandra Freeman) seeks to reinvent herself, Ashley (Akira Akbar) rebels in her first year of high school, and Hilary embarks on a journey of self-discovery.

Under the creative leadership of showrunner, writer, and executive producer Carla Banks Waddles, the final season promises to deliver the emotional complexity and contemporary edge that made Bel-Air one of Peacock’s standout dramas. The series originally inspired by Morgan Cooper’s viral short film reimagining the beloved ’90s sitcom has evolved into a bold reexamination of class, culture, and the meaning of belonging. Cooper, who also serves as executive producer, will direct the final two episodes, ensuring the show concludes with the same visionary spirit that sparked its creation.
The ensemble cast includes Jabari Banks, Adrian Holmes, Cassandra Freeman, Olly Sholotan, Coco Jones, Akira Akbar, Jimmy Akingbola, Jordan L. Jones, and Simone Joy Jones. Tyra Banks is also slated to make a guest appearance this season, adding even more star power to the show’s final run.
The fourth and final season of Bel-Air premieres Monday, November 24, 2025, on Peacock. With the addition of Janet Hubert and Caroline Chikezie, the series looks poised to end on a note that honors its past while embracing the next generation of storytelling.
In the interview, the Watson star remembered Warner as "such a good dude while adding that he "still can’t believe that Malcolm’s no longer here."
Malcolm-Jamal Warner’s untimely and tragic passing is still fresh in the mind of Morris Chestnut.
Speaking with People, Morris Chestnut had nothing but fond memories of his The Resident co-star, Malcolm-Jamal Warner.
In the interview, the Watson star remembered Warner as “such a good dude while adding that he “still can’t believe that Malcolm’s no longer here.”
The Cosby Show star tragically died in a drowning accident while on a family vacation in Costa Rica back in July.
Chestnut joined the cast of the Fox medical drama in season 3 while Warner was already a series regular.
During the interview, Chestnut pointed to a photo of them together on set, telling the magazine, “I remember this scene. Our characters didn’t like each other. He was very protective of everybody on the show, and that’s kind of how he was.”
The Best Man actor touched on the first time he saw Warner as the iconic character, Theo Huxtable on The Cosby Show, and how it resonated with him.
“I can see myself, as an actor, in his character,” Chestnut said. “I hadn’t decided to act at that time, but that probably was one of the first times I was like, ‘Wow, that’s kind of cool. This dude’s an actor on TV, we kind of look alike.’ Matter of fact, he had one of my favorite episodes on The Cosby Show with the Gordon Gartrell shirt — that’s just one of my favorite all-time episodes.”
Chestnut revealed that he and Warner discussed the classic Cosby Show episode when they met 2 years later
“He was telling me a couple stories about working in New York. When I first came to that cast, he was like, ‘Hey, let’s go grab a bite to eat.’ So we went out to dinner … [He was] just an incredible dude. I hate what happened to him. Rest in peace,” Chestnut remembered.

Halle Bailey, DDG Drop Domestic Violence Restraining Orders and Reach Custody Plan Over Son Halo

Halle Bailey and DDG are moving forward. The former couple, who share son Halo, 22 months, agreed to dismiss the domestic violence restraining orders they sought against one another, according to court documents obtained by E! News.
In the filing, Bailey and DDG (real name Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr.) also agreed to have the temporary restraining orders currently in place dropped. However, they each reserved the right to revive their respective domestic violence allegations in the event of a future incident.
Additionally, the exes—who broke up in October 2024 after more than two years of dating—came to a temporary agreement on custody of Halo, with the Little Mermaid star having primary physical custody while DDG was awarded custody on Wednesdays as well as certain weekends. They also established a custody schedule for several upcoming holidays, per the docs.
The agreement also stipulated that neither Bailey, 25, nor DDG, 28, could share images of or information about Halo online. They also agreed not disparage one another in public or around their son, according to the filing.
The Chloe x Halle singer was temporarily granted sole physical and legal custody of Halo in May, along with a DVRO against her ex after accusing her ex of multiple cases of abuse, according to legal documents obtained by E! News at the time.
One month later, the rapper filed his own DVRO request—which was granted in part—where he denied Bailey’s allegations and alleged that she posed “an imminent emotional and psychological risk” to herself and their son, per an emergency motion obtained by E! News in June.
On his new song “17 More Years,” released Oct. 10, DDG seemingly alluded to his recent legal saga.
“I don't wanna fight no more, tired of the court dates / Lawyers gettin’ over on us, watchin' money go to waste,” the lyrics read. “We should all get together on his birthday, light the cake / If we talk, it'll get better, go ahead and drop the case.”
And while he did not mention Bailey or their son by name on the track, he appeared to extend an olive branch to the “Angel” singer.
“These judges judgin' me and I gotta stay calm,” the lyrics continued. “Still got respect for you, you are a good mom.”

DoorDash Launches Emergency Food Response As SNAP Benefits Cutoff Looms

The food-delivery giant is stepping up in the face of a looming food-aid crisis, launching its “Emergency Food Response” initiative as benefits from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) risk being paused.
DoorDash announced that it will distribute 1 million free meals through its Project DASH network and waive delivery and service fees for an estimated 300,000 grocery orders placed by #SNAP recipients at participating retailers nationwide.
While the initiative is meant to act as a short-term bridge as the government #shutdown threatens the flow of SNAP benefits to more than 40 million Americans, the company stressed that it cannot replace systemic solutions. “It’s a stopgap, not a solution. But help is needed now.”

Lupita Nyong'o Tells Story Behind Her 20-Year Friendship with Zohran Mamdani

Lupita Nyong’o is opening up about her 20-year friendship with New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani and explaining why she supports him to win the race.
The Oscar-winning actress, best known for 12 Years a Slave and Black Panther, shared a lengthy message on Instagram on Tuesday (October 28).
“Story Time: I have known Zohran Mamdani for 20 years…” Lupita began her post.
She continued, “We met when he was just 14, during my internship at his mother’s production company, Mirabai Films. After a month of hearing his name mentioned, I found myself curious about this boy.”
“Without realizing it, I had constructed an image in my mind, but the moment he walked into the office, that assumption shattered. The young man before me was present, warm, and respectful. He greeted everyone, introduced himself to me with genuine eye contact and a smile. There were no airs about him, no trace of entitlement. He was down-to-earth and comfortable in his own skin,” Lupita continued. “Years later, I reconnected with Zohran as an adult when we worked together on the film, Queen of Katwe in Uganda. The boy I’d met matured, but his warmth, presence, and engagement remained.”
Zohran was an assistant director on Disney’s Queen of Katwe, which was released in 2016.
“I believe that Zohran Mamdani possesses the personality, skills, and temperament to be an excellent mayor of New York City. Flau’jae Johnson Speaks Out After Governor Jeff Landry Calls for Charlie Kirk Statue at LSU
Flau’jae Johnson, one of LSU’s most recognizable athletes, is pushing back after Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry called on LSU to build a statue honoring conservative political commentator Charlie Kirk.
In a video posted to social media, Landry urged LSU to celebrate Kirk’s “legacy” and “warrior spirit for free speech.” The suggestion immediately stirred debate online, especially among LSU students and fans who questioned the governor’s involvement in university affairs.
Flau’jae, known for using her platform to speak on social issues, kept her first response short and simple: replying to Landry’s post with a single “????,” signaling disbelief.
Later, when a fan commented that while they liked Kirk, the idea of a statue was “stupid” and that Landry should “stay out of LSU business,” Flau’jae jumped in to clarify her stance even further.
“For the sake of clarity,” she wrote, “if you align yourself with or endorse his racist rhetoric and discriminatory views toward people of color, I respectfully ask that you utilize the unfollow option at the top right of my profile.”
Her statement quickly gained traction across social media, with many praising her for drawing a line and standing by her principles.
Charlie Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA, is a polarizing figure who has faced criticism for his comments on race, gender, and education. While MAGA views him as a defender of free speech, others see his messaging as divisive and racist.

Jasmine Crockett Pokes At Trump's Sore Spot With Brutal 'Guarantee' About His IQ

Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas) fired back on Monday after President Donald Trump called her a “low IQ person” as he bragged about passing a basic cognitive test.
“He’s never been known to be an Einstein,” she told CNN’s Kaitlan Collins. “This is not a guy who got in on merit when it came to going to college. This is someone who, but for him being born with a silver spoon, probably wouldn’t have gotten into anybody’s institution, unlike me.”
She said she could “guarantee” that Trump’s IQ “qualifies as low” ― if he’s even taken a test recently ― and said she is waiting for a reporter to ask for his IQ given how often he brags about it.
Trump earlier Monday claimed he had taken an “aptitude” test, but what he described was actually the Montreal Cognitive Assessment.
That’s the infamous “person, woman, man, camera, TV” test he took in 2020 and has bragged about passing ever since, often incorrectly suggesting it’s some kind of intelligence test.
It’s not. It’s meant to check for signs of cognitive problems and dementia, and is designed to be easy to pass for someone with normal cognition.
Trump on Monday again bragged about passing, then claimed that neither Crockett nor Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) could pass that same test.
“Let AOC go against Trump. Let Jasmine go against Trump,” Trump said.
Crockett noticed a pattern in the president’s attacks, pointing out that he “consistently is obsessing over two women of color.”
“I don’t know what Black woman hurt him in his past, honey, but it is really taking him through it,” she said, urging him to “focus on his real job” instead of obsessing over her.
Ocasio-Cortez also fired back at Trump, asking if Trump had taken a test known to check for signs of neurological problems such as a stroke or dementia:

Jamaica Faces Unthinkable Destruction as Hurricane Melissa Pounds the Island with 185 mph Winds
Hurricane Melissa made a catastrophic landfall in Jamaica on Tuesday afternoon, roaring ashore as a Category 5 storm with sustained winds reaching 185 mph. The National Hurricane Center confirmed it as one of the most powerful hurricane landfalls ever recorded in the Atlantic Basin. Although the storm has since weakened slightly to a Category 4, with sustained winds of 150 mph, it remains an extreme threat. The eye of the storm was last located just south of Montego Bay, moving slowly north-northeast at around 8 mph, prolonging the island’s exposure to life-threatening conditions.
At least seven deaths have been reported in connection with the storm. Three fatalities occurred in Haiti over the weekend, another in the Dominican Republic, where one person remains missing, and three more in Jamaica before the hurricane officially made landfall. Officials continue to warn of severe consequences as the storm brings widespread damage, with total structural failure likely in areas directly in Melissa’s path.
Jamaica is experiencing catastrophic conditions, including violent winds, torrential rainfall, flooding, landslides, and storm surges up to 13 feet on the southern coast. In some mountainous areas, wind speeds may be up to 30 percent stronger due to elevation, increasing the threat of landslides and total building collapse. Rainfall estimates range between 15 to 30 inches, with isolated areas possibly receiving as much as 40 inches.
As Melissa moves on from Jamaica, it is forecast to strike eastern Cuba next and continue toward the southeastern Bahamas. Cuban authorities are already evacuating hundreds of thousands in preparation. Emergency officials across the region are urging residents and tourists to stay sheltered and heed all official warnings.
Melissa’s slow movement has compounded its destruction, causing prolonged and relentless damage. Officials have warned that this will be one of the most challenging natural disasters to recover from, with power and communication outages already widespread across Jamaica.
Videos from various parts of Jamaica have surfaced online showing massive flooding, sweeping away anything in its path.
