#RHOA: Kim Zolciak BF's Ex Rushes to Court Over His Alleged Spending on 'RHOA' Alum
The estranged wife of Kim Zolciak's current boyfriend, Kyle Mowitz, is making moves to block his spending habits to ensure there's still money to pay her at the end of the divorce -- claiming he's been dropping crazy money on the 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' alum and his lavish lifestyle ... TMZ has learned.
According to court docs, Jillian Green -- who's in the middle of a divorce from Kyle -- claims he spends lavishly on Kim and her family, including covering legal fees in Kim's own divorce from Kroy Biermann.
Jillian wants an injunction to prevent Kyle from spending such substantial sums, and wants some money put in escrow so she can get paid what she's entitled to in the divorce down the road.
In the filing, Jillian says his spending is "out of control" and insists "there is every reason to believe the millions of dollars" he is expecting from his business "will disappear quickly" without court intervention.
She claims Kyle has spent money on an expensive car, trips, wine, and his celebrity girlfriend ... and thinks he will spend more on large purchases or loans to Kim -- who she calls his "potential future wife."
Jillian claims Kyle has been paying large sums on Kim’s rent, as well. She's asking the court to intervene immediately.
As TMZ first reported, Kim was dragged into Kyle and Jillian’s divorce last year after Jillian subpoenaed Kim in an attempt to depose her.
Sources tell TMZ that Kim and Kyle are still going strong despite the drama.

#MusicNews: 2026 ESSENCE Festival Of Culture Adds Public Enemy, George Clinton, Babyface, Leon Thomas & More To Lineup

The 2026 ESSENCE Festival Of Culture continues its rollout of artists who’ll be performing this July 4th weekend in New Orleans at the Caesars Superdome. Joining previously announced artists Brandy, Monica, Patti LaBelle and Kehlani will be a few good men. New to the lineup are hip-hop legends Public Enemy, funk legend George Clinton, R&B legend Babyface, several established acts and numerous newcomers. In addition to revealing this new batch of performers, festival organizers have unveiled the daily roster of artists so that attendees can plan their ESSENCE Festival itineraries accordingly.
EFOC’s opening night on Friday, July 3rd will be off the chain with Cardi B set to headline the night. Leading up to the rapstress rocking the mic will be performances by R&B star Kehlani, big mama Latto and SZN4, a co-ed R&B/pop group formed on the Netflix competition series Building The Band.
Night two of EFOC on Saturday, July 4th will be an explosion of R&B. Bringing the fireworks to the stage will be headliners Brandy and Monica recreating the magic of 2025’s The Boy Is Mine Tour at ESSENCE Fest. Preceding the dynamic duo will be the icon Patti LaBelle and R&B dudes Leon Thomas and Josh Levi.
The final night of EFOC on Sunday, July 5th will be a celebration of multiple genres of Black Music. Headlining the festivities will be George Clinton and Parliament-Funkadelic getting funky with special guests Durand Bernarr, Nona Hendryx, Big Freedia, Big Boi and Scarface riding along in the Mothership. Before that epic ending, festivalgoers will be entertained by R&B and pop hitmaker Babyface, hip-hop group Public Enemy led by Chuck D and Flavor Flav and party starter Doug E. Fresh with a few friends.
Believe it or not, there are still even more performers that will be announced in the coming days to round out the lineup.
Despite ESSENCE Festival planning to let the good times roll as scheduled, there has been a growing outcry to cancel the 2026 ESSENCE Festival Of Culture amid Louisiana redrawing its congressional map following the Supreme Court gutting the Voting Rights Act. Festival organizers haven’t responded to the commentary yet, but look for the protest to get louder as the event approaches and political leaders in Louisiana continue to act a fool.
If you still have attending the 2026 ESSENCE Festival Of Culture on your summer to-do, though, now is the time to finalize your plans. Check out the ESSENCE Festival website for more information, and secure your tickets via Ticketmaster ASAP.

#HipHopNews: Kanye West Will Have To Pay $400K In “Donda” Lawsuit Over Sample Clearance
A federal jury has ruled that Kanye West must pay more than $400000 after determining that an uncleared sample was used during the creation of “Hurricane,” one of the standout records tied to his Donda era.
The decision stems from an earlier version of the song that debuted during the album’s listening sessions, where jurors found that material from a demo had been incorporated without proper authorization. That finding resulted in financial liability not just for West personally, but across multiple entities connected to his business operations.
According to the breakdown, West himself is responsible for $176,153, with Yeezy LLC carrying an identical amount. Additional penalties were assigned to Yeezy Supply, which must pay $41,625, and Mascotte Holdings, which was ordered to cover $44,627. Combined, the judgment pushes the total well into six figures.
The lawsuit was initiated by Artists Revenue Advocates on behalf of four musicians behind a one minute instrumental titled “MSD PT2,” which the plaintiffs argued served as the structural foundation for the early version of “Hurricane.” While the final release, featuring The Weeknd and Lil Baby, no longer contained the sample, the case centered on its initial use without clearance.
Following the verdict, Artists Revenue Advocates manager Britton Monts framed the outcome as a meaningful moment for independent creators navigating disputes with major artists.
“The underdogs got their day in court,” Monts said, pointing to the challenges working musicians face when confronting high profile figures without comparable resources.
Monts also indicated that further legal action is on the horizon, with plans to appeal a separate copyright issue tied to what is being described as an interpolation used in the final version of the track, a move that could potentially increase the financial stakes.
Testimony during the trial revealed that the musicians were initially encouraged when they heard the snippet previewed publicly, believing it could lead to proper credit and compensation. That expectation ultimately turned into litigation once those terms were not finalized.
West’s attorney, Eduardo Martorell, maintained that the artists were acknowledged as songwriters even after the sample was removed, noting that their representatives secured a combined 30 percent share of composition royalties during the legal process.
A spokesperson for West pushed back on the broader implications of the ruling, dismissing the case as an overreach.
“This is a failed shakedown. Six months ago, they wanted $30 million out of Ye,” the representative said, adding that the cost of pursuing the case far outweighed the final judgment. “The moral of the story? There is a cost attached to thinking you can take advantage of Ye.”
Despite the pushback, the ruling stands as another reminder of how sample clearance disputes continue to shape the business side of Hip Hop, where even unfinished versions of songs can carry significant legal consequences.

Accused Rihanna shooter’s attempted murder case takes bizarre turn as lawyer requests mental-health check

The woman accused of opening fire on Rihanna’s Beverly Hills mansion with a high-powered rifle was ruled competent to stand trial on attempted murder charges during a bizarre court appearance in Los Angeles Wednesday.
A lawyer for Ivanna Ortiz, 35, had requested earlier in the day that she undergo an additional mental-health check before a judge made the ruling that the trial could proceed.

Ortiz, who pleaded not guilty on March 25 to attempted murder and a slew of other felony charges, was seen Wednesday in shackles and carrying a plastic bag filled with snacks during a hearing at Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center.
Ortiz’s public defender had requested “an additional inquiry of competence” for his client, who sported dyed-blonde hair and an orange jumpsuit during the appearance.
The request came after Ortiz entered a complaint about her lawyer before Judge Shannon K. Cooley, who ultimately ruled there was “not substantial evidence of incompetency.”
When asked by the judge if she agreed to a preliminary hearing on the charges to begin July 7, Ortiz replied, “No, I’m not waiving my time.”
The couple was inside an Airstream trailer on the property at the time that was struck by the gunfire. AP
Cooley then ordered all parties to return to the courtroom at 2 p.m. to decide on the start date — and May 19 was decided.
At Ortiz’s appearance in March, prosecutor Alexander Bott slammed her for the March 8 attack, saying the shooting “could have caused multiple homicides” and was “calculated and deliberate.”
Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman revealed that both Rihanna and her husband A$AP Rocky were inside an Airstream trailer on the property at the time that was struck by the gunfire.
He said that Ortiz was found with ammunition, a disguise and was caught on camera, adding that she planned the attack and fired 20 rounds toward the home with children present using a “high-powered rifle.“
The couple’s three young kids, Rihanna’s mother and two staffers were inside the main house at the time, according to Hochman. Bullets also struck a neighbor’s home, where two people were inside.
The shooting rattled the normally quiet celebrity enclave, an exclusive neighborhood packed with multimillion-dollar estates and tight private security. Rihanna and her family fled the mansion and got on a private jet leaving LA in the aftermath.
Ortiz, who allegedly drove from Florida in her white Tesla to carry out the attack, posted a string of unhinged videos that appeared to offer a bizarre motive for the shooting.
She claimed the pop megastar was “stealing” from her, was “jealous” of her and was a “witch” with a “devil’s face” in a series of clips on her YouTube channel.
Her rambling social media posts depicted an obsessed stalker who held a vicious grudge against the singer for a raft of strange reasons.
In one she says: “Got Rihanna over there all jealous … because how am I … how am I … because her face is the devil. Rihanna’s face is the devil.
Ortiz was arrested near a shopping mall in nearby Sherman Oaks shortly after the midday shooting. Investigators later recovered an assault-style rifle from a vehicle linked to the suspect, officials said.
Ortiz’s charges include attempted murder with special allegations, 10 counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm with special allegations, and three counts of shooting into an inhabited dwelling/vehicle.
Her bond was previously set at $10.2 million before being reduced to $1.875 million, and a protective order was put in place for both Rihanna and A$AP Rocky.
Ortiz could face life in prison for her crimes, Hochman said.
Paris Jackson Claims “Massive Win” Over Michael Jackson Estate Lawyers’ Big-Bucks Bonuses
Doubtful the lawyers for Paris Jackson will ever compare themselves to Jarvis Cocker, but their successful legal storming of the Thriller star’s estate made public today certainly has all the shock value of the Pulp frontman leaping onstage at the 1996 Brit Awards in protest of the self-aggrandizing performance by the King of Pop.
In a remarkable multi-pronged win for the daughter of the deceased Michael Jackson, a retired judge has agreed with the “Bandaid” singer that over half a million dollars in bonuses paid out by the John Branca- and John McClain-run estate shouldn’t have been awarded — and the ever-burgeoning multi-billion-dollar Jackson estate needs to get the cash back.
“Ms. Jackson’s objection to the $625,000 of bonus payments made in the second six months of 2018 is sustained,” ex-probate judge and current referee Mitchell Beckloff wrote in his just-revealed April 29 order. “The bonus payments are not approved; they are disallowed. The payments shall be returned to the estate.”
Perhaps more importantly, the ref has put some new checks and balances on the estate and its spending power. “The Executors shall not make any bonus payments to an attorney as a payment on account without the written consent of all beneficiaries or an order of the referee/court,” Beckloff said.
He also asserted: “The estate may pay its attorneys on an ongoing basis and on account 70 percent of the reasonable fees incurred. Fees for the remaining 30 percent incurred shall be held and not paid unless and until there is an order approving the payment of such fees.”
Now, the estate was given props by Beckloff in the ruling for providing “exceptional services to the estate and, ultimately, to the beneficiaries” over the years since the then-$500 million-in-debt Michael Jackson died in 2009. To that, the estate said Wednesday, “Ultimately, while we disagree with the decision, we fully respect it and plan to move forward accordingly.”
So, peace in our time — for now.
While the $625,000 in a pittance for the MJ estate (and a drop in the bucket for the Michael box office), its return and the awarding of tens of thousands in attorneys’ fees to Paris represents a turning point in the 28-year-old superstar offspring’s battle for control of her father’s legacy and largesse. And, after a plethora of hearings, invectives, media campaigns and filings on both sides, plus disputes over the costs and consequences of the Antoine Fuqua-directed blockbuster biopic of Michael Jackson (Paris isn’t a fan), her camp know it.
“Paris has always been focused on what’s best for her family and this ruling is a massive win for them,” a spokesperson for the younger Jackson told Deadline on Wednesday. “After years of delay, the Jackson family will finally get the transparency and accountability measures Paris has fought for.”
Then, with the context of past swipes at Paris Jackson for never complaining about supposedly receiving $65 million from the estate, there is a threat of sorts: “The Jackson Estate is supposed to be a prudent, fiscally responsible entity that supports the Jackson family – not a slush fund to help John Branca live out his Hollywood mogul fantasies. After months of engaging in sexist, scorched-earth tactics against a beneficiary, it’s time for John Branca to acknowledge his many missteps and act in the best interest of the family he has a fiduciary duty to protect.”
Being that issues of the Trust not being actually funded remain before the probate court, and there is clearly no love lost between Paris Jackson and Branca, perhaps what is being implied here is a greater degree of financial management over MJ’s affairs. With Branca continuing in charge of the very lucrative publishing, events and other endeavors, that could involve a new party being brought on board — or not.

With Branca continuing in charge of the very lucrative publishing, events and other endeavors, that could involve a new party being brought on board — or not.
Going forward, the ruling made public today notes: “The Executors are now on a court ordered filing schedule. The Executors will file attorneys’ fees petitions for six years of services, 2019-2024 by September 15, 2026.” As it stands right now, the estate is deep in the process of a self-audit of sorts on those 2019-22 expenditures. Subsequent years also are being combed, but there seems to be an ongoing delay in the 2025 report. Paris Jackson wants to see the spreadsheet ASAP, the Branca/McClain-led estate say the best they can do is get the material ready for some time in 2027.
Oddly, or not, 2025 is the year that appears to contain many of the payouts by the estate in regards to the Michael movie and costly reshoots.
A headache to all involved in the Lionsgate distributed Michael, those unexpected reshoots, which Paris Jackson and others have spotlighted repeatedly, arose out of the discovery last year of a 1994 deal — along with a $20 million-plus settlement — with the family of then-underaged Jordan Chandler. Paris has lambasted Branca and McClain for not knowing about the decades old agreement putting the kibosh on any depiction of the younger Chandler’s relationship with Michael Jackson and the allegations of sexual abuse. The revelation incurred a massive re-write of retooling of the John Logan-penned flick produced by Graham King. Paris Jackson called the eventual result “sugar-coated and “dishonest.”
No secret, the Chandler clan and Jordan Chandler himself are among the numerous families and individuals who accused the “Beat It” singer of sexual abuse and other inappropriate conduct over the years.
Back in 2005, Jackson, who passed away on the eve of a comeback tour to ease his crippling debts, was acquitted on all 10 counts of child molestation, conspiracy and intoxicating a minor. However, with the various settlements to the likes of the Chandlers and accusations like those in HBO‘s controversial Leaving Neverland documentary and a recent molestation and abuse suit by the now-adult Cascio siblings, the concerns about the multi-Grammy winner have never died down, even with Jackson’s own death.
Not that any of that seems to hurt the Michael movie, which stars Paris’ cousin Jaafar Jackson in the title role. Released Stateside on April 24, Michael has hauled in over $584 million globally — and is still going.
To paraphrase a 1998 track from Pulp, that’s hardcore.
Michael Che Drags 'Kevin Hart Roast' Comedians Over Jokes About Slavery And George Floyd

The 'SNL' star drew a sharp line between how Black and white comedians roast each other — and pointed straight at the all-white writers room behind some of the night's most controversial bits.
“The Roast of Kevin Hart” has everyone talking — and not necessarily in a good way.
While some viewers have praised the special for its raw, unfiltered comedy, others have criticized several jokes about race, slurs, and Hart’s family.
The roast, released on Sunday, notably featured divisive jokes from comedians like Shane Gillis, Tony Hinchcliffe, and others.
For his part, Gillis joked about Jeffrey Epstein, lynching, and slavery, at one point saying that Hart’s ancestors “came to America in a slave ship in a bottle.”
Hinchcliffe faced backlash for a George Floyd joke, telling Hart, “The Black community is so proud of you… right now George Floyd is looking up at us all laughing so hard he can’t breathe.”
And jokes about Hart’s late father’s crack cocaine addiction were also made throughout the night by multiple comics.
Backlash was strong, with criticism coming from activist Tamika Mallory, comedians Loni Love and Lil Rel Howery, and even George Floyd’s family.
And now, Michael Che has weighed in.
The “SNL” star wrote on Instagram, “White guys and black people joke different. black guy roast like, ‘look at this [n-word] shoes!’ white roasts are like, ‘slavery, math, slain teens, sex crimes, slurs, family secrets..’”
He then added, “White guys dont give a fuck about they shoes.”
Che also took aim at writers on the roast.
″‘Lets do a roast celebrating the career of the most successful black comic in the last 10 years,’” he wrote before adding, ”‘I love that! who should we get to write it?’ He then attached a picture showing an all-white writing team reportedly used by Shane, including comedians Zac Amico, Dan St. Germain, Mike Lawrence, J.P. McDade, and Nick Mullen.
“Cmonnnnnnnnn.. thats not funny?” he concluded.

Cardi B WINS! Judge holds Tasha K in contempt, orders ...
Cardi B tightened her grip on Tasha K in court after a judge found the blogger in civil contempt.
Cardi B scored another courtroom victory against blogger Tasha K after a federal bankruptcy judge found the controversial media personality in civil contempt for repeatedly violating a court-approved non-disparagement agreement tied to their long-running legal war.
In a sharply worded order filed Tuesday, the court ruled that Tasha K, whose legal name is Latasha Transrina Kebe, violated multiple provisions of a confirmed bankruptcy reorganization plan that barred her from making disparaging public comments about Cardi B, born Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, and members of her family.
The verdict marks another damaging setback for Tasha K in a feud that has stretched across years and already resulted in Cardi B securing a multimillion-dollar defamation judgment against the blogger.
According to the court filing, the non-disparagement clause prohibited Tasha K and associated parties from publishing or communicating “derogatory, disparaging, or defamatory statements” about Cardi B, her relatives or entities connected to the rapper across social media, podcasts, websites and other public platforms.
The judge specifically determined that Cardi B’s estranged husband Offset and NFL star Stefon Diggs, identified in the filing as a co-parent of one of Cardi’s children, were protected under the order as “Almánzar Parties.”
Court documents sent to AllHipHop from journalist Dennis Byron of Hip-Hop Enquirer stated that Tasha K did not deny making the posts and broadcasts referenced in Cardi B’s motion. Instead, the blogger argued she had a legal right to make the comments. The court rejected that defense outright, writing that compliance with the confirmed order was mandatory regardless of intent.
The judge found that Tasha K violated the agreement “on no fewer than the occasions identified” across YouTube, X, Instagram, Facebook, Threads, TikTok and radio appearances including “The Morning Hustle.”
As part of the ruling, the court ordered Tasha K to at once cease all prohibited commentary and remove offending content from any platforms she controls.
The judge also awarded Cardi B attorneys’ fees and costs connected to monitoring and enforcing compliance with the agreement.
In another stunning wrinkle, the court sanctioned Tasha K’s attorney, Chad T. Van Horn, after citation errors in legal filings were flagged by Cardi B’s legal team. The judge ruled the mistakes failed to meet required legal criteria and imposed additional financial penalties equal to 10% of Cardi B’s reply-related legal award.
The court denied Cardi B’s request for automatic subsequent monetary penalties if additional violations occur, though the judge warned that new sanctions could still be imposed if the behavior continues.
For Cardi B, the ruling reinforces the legal muscle behind a yearslong campaign to stop Tasha K from discussing her family and personal life online. For Tasha K, the rising legal consequences appear not nearly over.

Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS Sued By Ex-Employee Who Claims Workers Were Denied Overtime Pay, Meal Breaks & Full Wages

Legal trouble is mounting for Kim Kardashian’s shapewear company after a former employee accused SKIMS of violating California labor laws in a newly filed lawsuit.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, a man named David Knight filed a lawsuit against SKIMS claiming the company failed to properly compensate him during his employment between October 2025 and December 2025 in California. Knight alleges he and other workers were denied overtime pay despite allegedly working more than eight hours a day and more than 40 hours per week.
The lawsuit also claims employees were not provided legally required meal breaks or rest periods. In addition, Knight alleges SKIMS failed to pay at least minimum wage for all hours worked and did not issue all wages owed following discharge or resignation.
Knight is seeking class-action status, arguing that other employees experienced similar alleged labor violations and should be included in the lawsuit.
Kim Kardashian is not personally listed as a defendant in the case.
SKIMS has strongly denied the allegations. In a statement issued to TMZ, a representative for the company said, “SKIMS denies the allegations in this complaint. This is a boilerplate filing, the same recycled template plaintiffs’ firms send to employers across California, fishing for a quick settlement.”
The statement continued, “We have no interest in settling claims without merit. SKIMS is and always has been firmly committed to compliance with California wage and hour law, and we look forward to demonstrating that in court.”

Nick Cannon’s New Netflix Docuseries Shows Life With 12 Kids And Career
Nick Cannon is about to open the doors to a new Netflix docuseries that dives into the complexities of balancing fatherhood with a demanding career. The series will spotlight how Nick Cannon manages life as a father to twelve children with six different mothers while maintaining a busy entertainment and business career.
According to Deadline, Netflix has officially approved this full docuseries, which is set to premiere in winter 2026. The show promises a candid and entertaining portrayal of Cannon’s everyday life, blending humor and heartfelt moments to reveal the challenges of managing such a large blended family alongside professional responsibilities.
The docuseries is designed to offer viewers a unique perspective on Cannon’s world, capturing moments from high-stakes business meetings to late-night parenting duties. The synopsis highlights the balance of “humor, vulnerability, and genuine dedication to being a present father,” making it clear that the show will explore both sides of his life with honesty and warmth.
Netflix is positioning the series as a mix of parenting reality and behind-the-scenes business drama. It will lean into the unusual and sometimes chaotic nature of his life without being exploitative or judgmental. This approach aims to provide a respectful yet entertaining look at what it means to parent twelve children while running multiple ventures.
Nick Cannon shares his twelve children with six mothers: Mariah Carey, Brittany Bell, Abby De La Rosa, Alyssa Scott, Bre Tiesi, and LaNisha Cole. His twins with Mariah Carey, Moroccan and Monroe, are now 15 years old, born during their marriage in 2011.
Brittany Bell is the mother of three of his children: Golden Sagon (9), Powerful Queen (5), and Rise Messiah (1). Meanwhile, Abby De La Rosa has three children as well, including twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir, both 3 years old, and Beautiful Zeppelin, also 3.
Alyssa Scott is the mother of Halo Marie, age 3, and was also mother to Zen, who tragically passed away at five months old in December 2021 due to brain cancer. Bre Tiesi is the mother of Legendary Love, age 2, and LaNisha Cole gave birth to Onyx Ice Cole, 3 years old.
It remains uncertain whether any of the children or their mothers will appear on-camera, a decision that could prevent complicating the narrative or personal dynamics. Cannon has been open about his parenting experiences in past interviews, so the series will likely expand on themes already familiar to fans but with the added depth of documentary storytelling.
The key question for viewers and critics alike is whether Netflix can successfully present a fresh, engaging, and nuanced look at Cannon’s life managing twelve children, rather than a show that feels exploitative or overly preachy. The upcoming winter release will be the moment of truth for this unique docuseries.

Pam Grier Says Stan Lee Used Her as Inspiration for Misty Knight and Monica Rambeau
Pam Grier is revisiting some of the wildest moments of her career — and making a bold claim about her influence on Stan Lee in the process.
During a new appearance on the podcast Wiser Than Me with Julia Louis-Dreyfus, the actress said the late Marvel legend used her as inspiration for several comic book characters that emerged during the 1970s and 1980s boom of Black superheroes and action heroines.
Grier reflected on the cultural impact of her rise during the blaxploitation era as she discussed her crossover into comic-book history. “Stan Lee, who wrote about Misty Knight and Amanda Waller… he based his characters on me,” Grier said during the episode.
While Lee did not directly create every character she referenced, Marvel creators have long acknowledged that Grier’s screen presence influenced the look and attitude of several heroes, including Misty Knight and Monica Rambeau, who later became Captain Marvel and Photon in Marvel Comics.
Misty Knight, originally created by Tony Isabella and Arvell Jones, was heavily inspired by Grier’s action-film persona at the height of her career. Artist John Romita Jr. has also previously said he used Grier as visual inspiration for Monica Rambeau’s original design before Marvel executives reportedly asked him to make the character look less like the actress.
Monica Rambeau later appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, portrayed by actress Teyonah Parris.
The episode also touched on several deeply personal chapters from Grier’s life, including surviving stage four cervical cancer and living with lingering trauma after a childhood injury.
Grier revealed that a classmate struck her in the head with a chair during kindergarten, causing a fractured skull and brain bleeding that still affects her speech. “I still stutter. I still have some evidence of trauma,” she explained.
Elsewhere in the conversation, Grier shared stories from her early years in Los Angeles, including a surreal studio session in which she unexpectedly crossed paths with Jimi Hendrix while recording music associated with Sly and the Family Stone.
She also reflected on her friendship with Minnie Riperton and recalled that, from an early age, she knew Riperton’s daughter, Maya Rudolph, was destined for entertainment.
One of the interview’s most talked-about moments arrived when Louis-Dreyfus asked Grier about aging and whether she still felt young. Grier answered with a line that immediately went viral online: “When you're young, you can have three, four, five orgasms in an hour. But when you get my age, you have one orgasm, it'll last three days.”
After Louis-Dreyfus jokingly demanded details, Grier insisted it was simply part of getting older.

Chris Brown Seemingly Reacts to Viral ‘Pitchfork’ Review Calling His Album a ‘Piece of S–t’

Chris Brown is seemingly responding to a negative review.
The 37-year-old “Run It!” entertainer shared a video to his Instagram Story on Tuesday (May 12) as Pitchfork‘s review of his new album, BROWN, makes the rounds on social media.
“This album is a real piece of s–t. Why even write about it? For years, traditional media has been tiptoeing around the popularity of Chris Brown, and in reality, that benefits nobody but him. The lack of critical engagement with his music has allowed him to contextualize his own redemption with statistics and sob stories,” the review reads, which gave the album a 1.3 out of 10 score.
The review also notes that it “isn’t romantic or funny or sexy or sultry or dancey or soulful or vulnerable or honest or creative or inspired whatsoever. It’s soulless, hit-chasing music with nothing going for it if you aren’t personally invested in the Chris Brown culture wars.”
Seemingly in response to the now-viral review, Chris shared his thoughts.
“Team Breezy. I know people want me to get on here and, you know, say some sad s–t, but f–k that. We kicking their s–t, goddammit. We ain’t letting up,” he began.
“I’mma keep my foot on their neck, and we ain’t stopping. You hear me? We doing this motherf–ker. Tour, more s–t to come. I’m not gonna tell you what’s more to come, but it’s coming at the end of the day,” he went on.
“I know exactly who my fans is, and I know exactly who hearing this album. If you’re not my fan, I don’t want you to listen to my s–t. Go listen to motherf–king Zara Larsson or somebody. F–k me.”
If you didn’t know, the 28-year-old Swedish singer played a round of “Cheap Shots” with Cosmopolitan and answered a question about which artist would never be found on a Spotify playlist of hers.
“There’s so many artists I’ve blocked on Spotify,” Zara chuckled. “And all of them are like, abusers. You certainly wouldn’t find, like, a Chris Brown song.”

LEGO celebrates late Art icon Keith Haring with new art set: ‘Want this so bad’
LEGO has released a new set celebrating late gay icon Keith Haring, with both fans and reviewers raving about it.
The latest edition to the LEGO® Art line, Keith Haring – Dancing Figures joins other famous artworks like Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa and Hokusai’s The Great Wave in being transformed into a brick-built version.
Haring was an American pop artist who was just 31 when he died from AIDS-related complications on February 16, 1990. His artwork was known for its social commentary on issues of the day like the AIDS crisis, LGBTQ+ rights, the crack epidemic and apartheid.
Made up of more than 1,700 pieces, the building set for adults brings one of Haring’s most iconic motifs to life and “brilliantly captures the bold lines, vibrant colours and distinctive sense of movement and energy”.
The set comes with five building instruction booklets, one for each of the five figures, enabling people to enjoy a “social experience” as part of the build and “create this piece of pop art with friends or family members”.
“Once it’s built, you have two display options and can either hang your frameless LEGO Keith Haring artwork on a wall or connect each figure to a stand and showcase them as you like – the five figures are separate models so you can choose their order and how many you want to display,” LEGO says of the set.
“The set makes a special treat for yourself or a creative gift idea for any art lover.”
In a review The Brothers Brick, a LEGO website for adult builders, said Haring’s “vibrant and energetic pop art turns out to be an ideal match for LEGO”.
“The finished model is eye-catching and fun, and the ability to display on the wall or on a shelf is welcome,” they wrote, adding whilst LEGO only shows the figures arranged in one sequence there is “no reason why you shouldn’t take liberties and change the order or display them separately”.
“Together the figures have a substantial presence and along with a generous piece to price ratio, the set feels very much worth the asking price,” they continued.
Fans online were quick to share images of the set to social media, where people were immediately praised the colourful rendition of Haring’s artwork.
“I want this Keith Haring Lego set so bad,” user on X wrote.
“I know what I’m getting for my bday this year,” another said with a heart emoji.
“Had no clue this existed but buying asap!” a third wrote.
Others called it “dope”, “fire” and “so cool”.
Not everyone was a fan though, with other people labelling the collaboration between the Haring estate and LEGO as “mindless consumerism”.
This is not the first time Haring’s artwork has been recreated, as his estate has collaborated with a number of brands over the years such as Crocs, Jean Paul Gaultier and Abercrombie & Fitch.
A couple of people also cleverly suggested buyers should leave the set unfinished, as a nod to Haring’s Unfinished Painting, which purposefully left unfinished by him to represent his life being cut short by AIDS.
LEGO Art 31216 Keith Haring – Dancing Figures is available on the LEGO website from Thursday (15 May) and is on sale for UK £104.99 / US $119.99 / CAN $149.99.
